Jerry, Paul, and T were great. They helped me through an experience that everyone dreds. Buying a car. I told them what I wanted. They showed me the car that just came in. Buying process is a bit lengthy and can be tailored so that it is shorter. They sit you down first and go over everything before the test drive. Not a great idea for everyone. The option should be left to the individual who is purchasing. I wanted to test drive the car and was made to wait too long. However the buying process in any dealer is horrible and this was not bad. Everyone was open and seemed relaxed as if there was no pressure to rush through the sale. They took time to explain some things and others were not explained so well. Overall it was ok.

Today I bought my second Prius at A-1. The process went smoothly and my salesperson, Amanda Botto, found exactly the model I was hoping for. She was competent and knowlegeable as well as friendly and helpful. Angel Ramos handled the actual purchase, providing me with all of the financing options available. A-1 has a great service department as well. I never had the feeling that I was being led to have work done on my other Pius that was unnecessary. I always was treated with the utmost respect. I highly recommend this dealership and if I consider another car in the future, A-1 is the only dealership I would consider.

Emerson was extremely professional, thorough, and made the buying experience painless. It was clear that he's been doing this for many years and understands what different people need when buying a new car. Angel went through all the final paper work diligently, allowing us to ask any question we had no matter how simple. All the folks there worked as a team to make the time we spent with them very efficient.Yes, you get the usual up-sell at the final point of sale (extended warrantees, add ons for car protection etc.) but having done research before coming into the dealership I knew what I wanted and there was no undue pressure to purchase these extras (as I've experienced in other places).All the additional benefits they offer (oil changes for life, car washes, low dealer fee, upfront pricing etc.) seal the deal and along with great folks like Emerson and Angel, make this a solid dealership to buy a new vehicle from.

I've been to quite a few dealerships over the course of my driving career and my experience at A-1 was by far the best. The salaried salespeople approach allowed me to shop and make important financial decisions with no pressure from the staff, making me feel extremely comfortable in my car purchase. Many businesses claim the "Since 19XX" slogan to try to muster some sort of trust but I feel that very few actually have learned and improved upon the years like A-1 has, they truly know what they are doing and are very obviously customer-focused. I am a recent convert from being a fan of a different car brand and they have helped segue my transition respectfully and efficiently. Unless they do me wrong in some capacity, I see myself being a long time repeat customer.

I visited the dealership to gather some information on a used vehicle and possibly take a test drive. I had ZERO intentions of buying anything or making any definite decision. The sales process at A1 is a very nice one but i would have to say that it was solely because of Mustafa that I ended up signing papers for a brand new Rav4 that night. I have never felt less pressured or more looked out for by a salesman. He put in a lot of effort to put a deal on the table I could not turn down. My wife and I love the vehicle and the experience. I've owned Audi's for 30 years now, and need to buy them pre-owned, since they are way too pricey new. A-1 Toyota picked up an A6 Avant on trade-in which caught my eye so I drove down from the Boston area to check it out. It was in great shape. They would not barter on the price, which put me off a bit, but then I went off to do my homework, and realized that the asking price was about as good as I could hope for. The price included 4 new brakes and rotors, and 4 new tires. I requested top end rotors and Primacy Michelin tires, so there was a bit of an increase, but it was provided at their discount cost. My lead sales person Kayla was extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive to details, as were the other managers with whom I interacted. I decided to take the train from Boston to pick up the car, and A1 Toyota had a driver at the door at New Haven when I arrived. The detailing job was impeccable on the vehicle, and the drive back to Boston was a real pleasure on a 7 year old car which drove, looked, and smelled totally new. A1-Toyota did a fantastic job on the new tire balancing and front end alignment as well as the breaks. I was also most impressed with the heritage of this company. It is worth checking out.

Had been searching for a Tundra for some time. Contacted several other dealers via web and in person. Started each process by requesting a price quote on the web because I thought this would save time and effort in my research. Each time I submitted a request, I got the usual response. I would get a call, no price, but a response such as "when would you like to come down. I am pretty busy so traveling long distances to talk to a sales person only to get nowhere on a price can be a waste of time. I was pleasantly surprised when I inquired on-line with A-1 Toyota and got a price quote response via email. I not only received a price quote on the specific vehicle I inquired about, but also received three other quotes with various levels of equipment. I knew I had received a fair price quote because I had done quite a bit of research. The buying experience was very pleasant. My sales person was Quincy. Quincy was very professional. He took the time to explain things and was not driven to make the sale. All the aspects of purchasing a car from A-1 were pleasant. No games, no haggling, no pressure. Would recommend A-1 as a place to buy your Toyota.

I bought my first car back in 1967 and I have bought scores of them since, though this is the first time I not only went back to the same dealer but to the same salesperson. I was extremely satisfied with A1 and Quincy Smith, but most of all with the quality of my Toyota. We would not have replaced it except it was a total loss, due to an unfortunate accident. I've purchased two new vehicles over the past 10 years, a Corolla and a Matrix from A-1. The buying process was very direct, one price policy and they explain their built in perks. In closing the deal they do try to sell some dealer add on options, but are not obnoxious about it. Free oil changes do require a wait, and every few they try and push their "service" routines which are expensive. However I don't think it gets much better than this as far as car dealers go

Hands down this Toyota dealership is the best one. I have purchase cars from Westport & Milford Toyota in the pass and they dont add up to A1- Toyota New Haven. From start to finish and even after my purchase I am very happy. It starts with Joe Firine the internet manager. Making sure I didnt drive all the way to New Haven and didnt have the car I wanted. To Chen the sweetest sale person and I am a hard person to sell to. It gets even better with Paul Wright has who might I add sold me my 1st car back in 1995 and he is still going strong with Toyota Finance Services. To Joe at Service who was so carrying a patient. If you make an appointment for 5K interval BASIC service, prepare to be there for a good long while... this has been my experience the past year or so at A-1Toyota sevice dept., good chance you'll wait 90 MINUTEs for that oil change... I'm looking elsewhere, or will go back to simply doing it myself....

I am extremely unhappy with A1's service, and that is a change from years past. Having taken my 4Runner there for a long time, I used to think they were responsive, helpful, and honest, all that seems to have changed. I recently had new tires put on the 4Runner. I don't drive it much, and rarely on the highway, so it wasn't until a few weeks later that I noticed a shake that seemed to indicate the tires hadn't been balanced properly. When I brought it in for service, they said the balance was fine and that the problem had been fixed because they'd replaced a bearing in one wheel. In fact, the problem had NOT been fixed, which was immediately evident when I drove the 4Runner - and would have been to them had they bothered to check it. I brought it back in. Turns out, their machine that checks balance was not working correctly and, in fact, my wheels WERE out of balance. BUT, because the worn bearing "might" have contributed to the original problem, they still insisted I had to pay for that service. Had the machine been working all along, there wouldn't have been a problem in the first place and that service would not have been necessary. But now I'm out $600+ and not ever going back to A1

The dealership is redone so looks good from the inside.. service is a nightmare.. even with an appointment it takes 2 hours for an oil change, (have experienced this multiple times) Been a customer of theirs for a while but for the past 6-8 months every time we have been there it feels like they are fleecing us with not only our time but keep bringing out problems which we are not experiencing and asking to do unnecessary service.. think the service personnel are commission based so BEWARE>. What ticks me most is their severe lack of concern for customer time.... APpointment ARE A JOKE. to the dealership: APPOINTMENTS ARE SOMETHING YOU HAND OUT AS A UNWRITTEN PROMISE TO BE FULFILLED>> DONT TAKE MORE THAN U CAN HANDLE>>

This has been the worst experience I ever had trying to get a used vehicle.I was in the market for used Toyota Prius or the Camry hybrid. When I was doing my research I came across two vehicles at this particular dealership. It was a week before then in the month of April which I showed up to test drive these two vehicles. The first one was the Toyota previous, the salesperson told me it's a certified vehicle, one owner. Let me tell you it was a certified piece of junk. Watch what you're buying there. Before test driving this vehicle, I inspected the car inside and out. On the outside I noticed the bumpers were hit multiple times. By inspecting the will well pick connection pieces and those are the little plastic parts power popping off due to pressure being put onto the bumper.
