My bf bought a jeep here 2/22/16. The salespeople were extremely friendly and accommodating. There was never any pressure and we are 100% satisfied with the purchase. Amazing family owned buisness! There was absolutely no pressure in buying a car. As soon as I walked in the door they made sure I was completely taken care of. Katie took care of everything with my insurance company and helped me get an amazing loan rate from the bank. She stayed within my budget and actually saved me money! This company gives genuine and honest advice. They are truly there to help their buyers and are very fair. MY DAUGHTER WAS LOOKING FOR A USED CAR WHEREAS HERS WAS TOTALED IN AN ACCIDENT A MONTH EARLIER. SHE LOOKED AT SEVERAL OTHER DEALERSHIPS BUT SAW SOME VECHCLES THAT REALLY NEEDED WORK BUT THE SALES PEOPLE WERE LIKE SEAGULLS GOING AFTER A FRENCH FRY IN A PARKING LOT AFTER BEING DISGUSTED AND ALL I FOUND A DEALERSHIP ON THE INTERNET AND LOOKED AT EVERYTHING THAT THEY HAD . AT FIRST SHE DID NOT WANT TO GO BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE LIKE THE OTHER DEALERS.TRYING TO GET YOU TO BUY SOMETHING THAT YOU DON'T WANT . SO I CONVINCED HER TO JUST STOP IN AND TAKE A PEAK. My initial buying experience was very pleasant. The staff was personable and helpful. After purchase, the vehicle had some issues which were promptly addressed. Ultimately, the vehicle had an issue too costly to repair under warranty. AKJ agreed to buy back the vehicle at full purchase price without any deductions. I am pleased with the outcome and I would recommend this dealership.

making my first big purchase is extremely nerve wrecking but the staff at akj were so comforting and knowledgeable! I am so grateful for their help and I am one happy customer! I love my suv! Can't wait to drive it this winter! They are truly honest and good hearted people. I wouldn't have received the same service any where else and I can't wait to buy my next car with them in years to come!

If you or anyone you know is looking for a new or used car akj sales is the place to go! Everyone who works there is super helpful and is very knowledgeable! Go in and talk to Brie or Katie and they will help you with just what your looking for. I absolutely love my new scion TC and now look forward to going for a drive in my car with confidence knowing that it's going to start every day. They both were are extremely nice and I would recommend seeing them to anyone!

After looking around and reading some reviews I decided to call and then stop in to AKJ. Reviews are accurate as far as a non pushy and relaxed dealership. I looked over several vehicles without being approached. There were a couple in my range and style, after taking a test ride, I dealt with Ken and we came to an agreement on the Jeep. There was a slight paperwork issue which was resolved by the next business day. Secondary issue on paperwork was also minor, needed to relay my plate number for them for the registry, that should of been noted on the top right of the agreement. Odd how I knew that, but again, small minor issue, easily resolved. That info can be found under the Massachusetts 7 Day Transfer Law. After taking the vehicle, when a minor mechanical problem arose, it was dealt with as promptly as it could of been. Ken did his best to work around my schedule with his mechanic and also offered a secondary repair facility if it suited my schedule better. Honestly, it's a decent dealership with decent vehicles. Worth a look if you're in the market for a vehicle at a decent price. Overall a good experience and a better than average chance I'd look again there if the need for another vehicle arose.

Everyone here was so kind and patient. The girls didn't come out and try to "sell" me anything, just let me look around & provided service when needed. The other employees even took time out of his work day to speak personally with me and my family. They don't pressure you & they have great vehicles that they stand behind. The vehicle I purchased was a great deal from a great dealer!

I test drove a 2005 VW Beetle from AKJ. It rode really well with the exception of a spongy brake. I took a day off work, drove it all the way to my mechanic in Braintree and back only to find the engine and oil pans were TOTALLY RUSTED, the car had been in an unreported accident and parts were falling off. My mechanic told me the car would die in three months.The car drove well because the struts and belts had been replaced. The dealership has a mechanic - I am sure he looked at the car.Ken tried to tell me that all used cars look like this and it would be safe to drive. YEAH RIGHT! I have never seen anything so horrible in my life.The car was worth $1000. They would have had to give me a brand new engine for me to even consider this car. The asking price was $6400.The only reason this gets 2 stars is because Katie was friendly and accommodating.

They great you with a smile and makes your visit comfortable with no pressure. When it came down to picking out a vehicle, I test drove it and inspected it with a fine tooth comb. When I came back and noticed some discrepancies, Ken sent the vehicle to his personal mechanic (Kyle) and fixed and replaced everything. Amazing! Most dealerships won't do this after you drive off the lot. This was the best car buying experience in my life. The staff is caring and friendly. I am referring all my friends and family to Ken for their car buying experience. And when it comes back to buying another vehicle....I am going back to AKJ Auto Sales, period! This is a 5 star auto dealership and I highly recommend them. Thanks, guys!

I would definitely recommend this dealership! They were very easy to work with, very helpful and also gave me a great deal. I wasn't pressured into anything and when the time came for me to buy the vehicle they helped me with financing and also got my registration and plates done for me. Very nice people and made me feel very comfortable during the process.

The one thing I didn't appreciate was the completely empty tank of gas. The light was on and I wasn't even sure if I was gonna make it to the gas station and the car was filthy on The outside. But I did have a problem and they were very professional and fixed the problem for me.

Went to purchase a 03 f150,and one of his daughters told me the payment was going to be so much and it was different and all he had to do is lower the price and he didn't especially after I bought a mustang that wouldn't pass inspection, and I was fine with that, and bailed him out, the f150 was way overpriced and I was going to pay his price, he isn't about his customers customers, he's about making a pretty penny. No more will I suggest him to anybody.

AKJ were recommended to me by two people, from the minuite I walked on to the sales lot too the time I drove away three days later in my Kia, it was one, if not the best sales experiance I have had buying a car. All the staff and managment were a pleasure to deal with, they my first time buying in the USA seem easy and enjoyable. I loved the way the whole family worked with ease together and made you feel part of them.I will have NO problem in pointing people to AKJ Auto who say they are looking to buy a new car and I will be going back when it comes time to getting a new viechle.A pleasure

First car I purchased was an '06 Scion tC. Loved that car! Said car was unfortunately totalled after two months of ownership - this had NOTHING to do with anything the dealer did with the car. I went back, they felt horrible for me and gave a deal on a different Scion tC, an '07 this time. I love this car.There's three reasons I recommend AKJ. First was the up-front pricing. How many dealers advertise a price but then later pull something like and asterisk claiming "with your trade or $2000 down"? Not AKJ. Second? Their flexibility. Both cars needed tires. They arranged for new tires at a significant cost reduction to me. Any other dealer would have made a substantial markup.Third? The second car had a check engine light come on a the day before I got it inspected. They gave me a few options of what garage to take it to, the problem was resolved and they told me "Drive it for a couple weeks, make sure it doesn't come back on". Most would tell you to go and have it inspected right away, they wanted to make sure the problem was solved. Nothing's perfect - used cars especially. They did everything they could to make the experience as seamless as possible. Please give them your business.

I did a lot of research before even stepping out to shop for a car. I checked inventories and prices for all local dealers and compared cars of comparable year, condition and mileage. When I drove into AKJ Auto Sales lot I was "floored" (pun intended) with the high quality and condition of a huge range of makes and models. I was shown around the lot by a very knowledgeable employee who did not pressure me in any way, shape or form. I test drove and purchased in the same day. My Honda Civic EX Sedan is a joy to drive and thousands of dollars below what I would have paid elsewhere. This should be your ultimate stop when purchasing a car.

I don't normally do reviews, but I saw the not so great review someone left and I had to leave my own review to show others that not all negative reviews are accurate. I spent the better part of a month shopping for a car. Went to many locations, but I returned to AKJ on 4 different occasions. I met and dealt with Ken, Katie, and the cute puppy, Sophie. Every time I was in I felt comfortable and not pressured. They let me look without being stalked. They let me drive several cars without being pressured. And best of all, they let me leave without buying anything. I received two follow up calls to check in, both were pleasant. I eventually realized that this dealer was different and this was the place I wanted to buy my vehicle at. I love my new Nissan and very happy that I went to this dealer!

HONEST !! yes, I said honest ! Family friendly, Good selection, NO PRESSURE, willing to work with you. My wife, who HATES car dealers, (you know the type, "what will it take to get you into this car, today", "what can you afford a month") those type of dealers, WELL, my wife actually ENJOYED looking at cars at AKJ Auto sales, she looked at several, with the help of Nancy, to figure out which vehicle my wife liked the best. We bought the truck that she liked after buying it, the truck had a hidden, recurring problem that was very difficult to solve. The entire staff at AKJ was friendly and helpful the entire time. The owner Ken gave me his word it would be fixed, and ...IT WAS, to the satisfaction of everyone, even my wife ! We have been driving the SUV for about a month now and everything is as the dealership said it was, the truck is great, no problems and we are all happy. I have found my new favorite dealership. The dealership was about 45 minutes from my home but WELL worth the drive. The selection is always changing and all the cars are in very good shape. I have already mentioned the dealership to several friends and family members. I would, and WILL go back to that dealership the next time I am in the market for a vehicle. Next time I will START my car shopping there, instead of wasting my time at other dealerships. If you are looking for a great car, at a fair price, if you want to deal with the truth, from HONEST people, and don't want to be pushed in to something or treated poorly, I say take a look at AKJ Auto sales and I think you will be happy, WE WERE !! I have "window shopped" this dealer on several occasions and have NEVER been pressured! I finally found one in my price range and am thoroughly impressed with their friendliness, professionalism and courtesy! I had a couple of issues with my insurance binder and they were very understanding. I will absolutely recommend this business to friends, family and co-workers! They have my business from now on!

After looking for a used car at other dealers around the Cape and being rushed and pressured by all I was happy to find AKJ Auto Sales. They are a breath of fresh air in the used auto sales world. They are not your "average" used car dealers. They did not seem interested in pushing me into a car I could not afford. They were interested in what I wanted not how much they were making on the sale. I was left alone in the lot to look over the cars and only when I wanted to talk to someone did they approach me. It's nice to not be hounded by the salesman. They didn't rush me one bit. They day that I purchased my used "new to me" car I was there with my son ALL DAY from 9 - 4 ( my insurance company was playing games). Even though I took up all of there time with my issues with the bank and insurance company they still didn't seem to mind. My son was running a muck in the office and playing with all the toy cars and all they did was talk about how cute he is. They are honestly some of the best people (forget salesmen/women) that I have ever met. They genuinely care about you and what you are looking for and try their best to put you in the car you want. The car I bought ended up having a stereo and headlight issue. I called them the day after I bought the vehicle and without a second thought they asked me when would be a good time for me to bring it back so they could fix the issue. I brought it back the next day and within 2 hours had my lights fixed and a working stereo. If you are looking for a great car buying experience and are tired of dealing with those shady used car dealer PLEASE stop by AKJ Sales in Wareham. They will change your whole outlook on buying a used car. Also as an Active Duty military member they gave me the utmost respect and were very appreciative of my service (also have lots of red, white, and blue decor. A definite stop for all military looking to buy a car. They will treat you right.

I got this first car last year from AKJ back in may/June 2013 and it had 80,000 miles. I am now at 100,000 today and I love my car. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend akj auto sales to anybody. No bull at this place, they let me test drive anything I wanted no problem, no high pressure tactics like a bigger dealership might use. You guys are doing it right and more should follow your example.

I now own three vehicles purchased from this dealer over a 5 week period. The cars were presented well (both online and in person), the staff was great, and I was pleased with the whole purchase experience. One vehicle I bought had some issues that were not apparent until being driven for a few days. They were very courteous in checking the car over, and agreed to offer me my money back or a credit toward another car. I was very pleased with the integrity of the dealership - and was happy to use the credit towards another car. I have been happy to tell anyone I know who is buying a car to check them out.

I chose this dealership based on the positive reviews on this site, especially the ones that stated they were good about fixing problems that arose right after purchase. It was important to me that I was buying from someone who had faith in what they were selling me. I had two mechanics look at the car after I bought it, and both told me there were a few safety issues. I asked Ken if he could do anything for me, and I was told no because his mechanic did not see the problems.

I know its unusual to rate someone all outstanding. But I have a fleet of vehicles for my business. I am looking about twice a year at pricing and any deals "out there". AKJ auto sales had a really good price on this jeep. It grabbed my attention because for a comparable deal it is usually a couple of thousand more for this type of Right Hand Drive jeep. I had never dealt or heard of AKJ and took a leap of faith. I bought the car and they handled everything, even the shipping. Ken made it painless and hassel free. And the jeep is just like he told me. Great. AND he communicated constantly about all details. I would be more then happy to deal with AKJ and Ken again! His/their team was excellent.

My last used car buying experience was not so good so I went to AKJ thinking It would be the same as most of the other guys. I seen a 2001 Jeep Wrangler that I thought was sharp looking. Katie was working and asked if I would like to take it for a test drive. After driving Jeep I found a couple of problems with it but overall I tought the Jeep was in good shape. Without any presure Katie took my infomation and asked if I wanted to try getting financing for the Jeep. My credit is "so-so" at best and didn't think I would get a loan for it so I told Katie to go ahead and try. 20 Minutes later Katie called me and told me I was approved for the loan. That was a Friday. I took delivery of the Jeep on Monday and took the jeep on the Highway and found it was shaking bad at 65MPH. I am not a master mechanic but I know a few things about cars. I felt that it needed new tires. I called Kenny Healy and told him my concerns and he had NO PROBLEM with me taking the car to a tire shop of his choice for new tire. Problem solved without any excuses. The next problem I found was the air conditioning and rear window defogger wasn't working. Once again I called Kenny Healy and was told to take it to a mechanic of his choice to address my concerns. Come to find out the jeep needed needed a new air conditioner compressor which I know are not cheap, but Kenny had no problem with replacing it. There was a couple of smaller problems that where found but in every instance Kenny fixed whatever was needed to make me happy.Bottom Line is my next car will be from AKJ. I will be sending people I know to AKJ without hesitation

I was recently looking for a new (used) vehicle. I had heard of AKJ Auto Sales, good things, so I contacted them. I was in a hurry, did not have a vehicle, but wanted something reliable and at a decent price. My car purchasing adventure started on a Saturday and I was in a goreous, sparkling Ford Escape by Thursday night! I have never dealt with such friendly and knowledgeable people. Katie, for as young as she is, I found to be extremely freindly and VERY knowledgeable about the cars available and the process of financing. Both Ken and Katie kept me updated with the process and the availibility of the vehicle...I am greatly appreciative!! Thanks Ken and Katie, you guys make a fantastic team.

Amazing used vehicle experiance. Quick, easy, and absolutley painless. I have bought plenty of used vehicles and never went this smooth. We bought a Ford Explorer from AKJ a month ago. We are 100% satisfied with the purchase and with the whole experience. We worked with Katie at first, who was very patient with us as we considered and reconsidered various options. We never felt pressured to buy; on the contrary, Katie encouraged us to take our time so that we would find the vehicle that was right for us. She was always there to answer our questions. When we finally decided on the Explorer, Ken joined Katie in describing the vehicle and going over its repair history. He sold us the car an amazingly good price, for which we are grateful. Used Honda CR-Vs are hard to find in Connecticut. When I spotted a promising 2006 Honda CR-V on Craigslist, I took a chance and traveled over an hour to AKJ Auto Sales to take a look at it. I hadn't heard of AKJ before, and was hesitant to deal with someone I didn't know. I am so glad I did!The car was everything promised, and more. The asking price was fair and reasonable, actually below blue book value, for this like-new car with a clean car fax report, average mileage, in tip-top shape inside and out, with every bell and whistle still working fine.The owner, Ken, and his daughter Katie were friendly and laid-back, and they were patient in explaining the car's many features to me. They had no problem with my taking it for a long test-drive and having a mechanic look it over. I felt no pressure at all to make a quick decision. They even held it for a weekend while I thought about the car, without requesting a deposit. Overall, this was a surprisingly wonderful experience for a cynical old woman like me. It's a treat to find fair and honest people nowadays. Ken and Katie were a pleasure to deal with and I am loving my "new" car.

My daughter was ready to purchase her first car at 16 years old, we had purchased a van about a year ago from Ken and knew we would take our daughter there as well. This experience was different, we had a first time driver who needed a car that she felt safe and comfortable in. Ken had our daughter test drive three different cars, he shared that 'she' needed to know which one fit her best. I have been in and out of the Automotive trade for the last 38 yrs, so I know my way around a car. After an exhaustive search for a used Grand Cherokee I decided to give AKJ a look. I had seen their ads for a long time, and always took a moment to look at the current vehicle for sale while web surfing.Ken has a very good eye for decent quality vehicles and he is able to keep prices in line with his competitors who are usually offering a lesser quality vehicle for nearly the same prices !This dealership comes with my highest recommendation.

We alway bought a car from a new car dealer but a friend recomended AKJ sales, I gave it a shot. I met Ken at his Plymouth location last year He was not pushy as I was expecting but went over what he could do for me. As he did not have a van on the lot that interest me as he found a couple of vans. When I went back about a month later Ken offered me the best van for a great price and put new tires including the spare on as well as new bumbers and fixed everything we found defective. At no time did Ken use high pressure tactics to sell. Ken acted like family in the whole process. Love the van and recommend AKJ sales to anyone looking for a used car Great prices but more important great service

We were shopping around to replace my wife's 12 year old minivan. We knew what we wanted and were using the internet to find good prospects. When we called AKJ on what looked like a great candidate, we were told they had just sold it. Ken listened carefully to what we were looking for and went to work to find it. As luck would have it, the deal on the vehicle we called on fell through and Ken called us right up to come give it a look. No pressure, just a sincere desire to help us find the right vehicle. We got a great car for a great price with no hassles. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The paper work was ready and complete the first time, and the transaction went very smoothly. Honesty and integrity are difficult traits to find in the used automobile industry. There were no "tricks", no pressure, Ken told me he could help me find the car I wanted at auction if what I wanted wasn't available, I bought a 2003 Tahoe LT loaded for over a thousand dollars less than the other used car dealers wanted for a stripped 03 LS.If you don't want the usual "shuck and jive" that you get at a used car dealership, just an honest excellent deal, I highly recommend AKJ Auto.

Ken made my first purchase of a used vehicle for me very easily. He is a straight shooter and tells you like it is. Not like most places that just will get you in anything just to make a buck. He help me get financing very easily and at a rate im more than comfortable in paying. I had to do little work on my end to get the car I wanted. I was recently in the market for a new used car after my vehicle was totaled. I had searched numerous dealers locally and found nothing but bad customer service, broken cars being sold as "beauties" and total aggrivation. I came across a car for sale that was more than I was able to spend and it was at AKJ autosales. Since I had had no luck anywhere else I decided to give it a shot and I am so happy I did. Not only was he able to come down on the price, but when I found a few minor problems (brakes and a crack in the windshield) he got them taken care of for me without hesitation. Ken was friendly, honest and extremely helpful which, from experience I've found are qualities hard to find in a used car salesmen. I would absolutely go back there if I needed a car in the future...(which I wont for awhile since this car is so great) and I definately recommend them to anyone looking for great service, honest prices and used cars that arent gonna give you a problem.

I was introduced to Ken Healy by a friend of mine who had previously purchased 2 vehicles from him. I purchased a 1999 Toyota Camry and have had it now for 8 months. I recently purchased a used car from Ken Healy. He was very friendly and helpful. I did have an issue with the vehicle which Ken, right from the start, tried to correct. After a few attempts and a trip to an independent Ford dealer (who also could not correct the problem)Ken offered to trade in the vehicle for another one. Ken was very easy to deal with and at no time did I feel any of the usual sales-person pressure to buy from him. He gave me the time to make up my own mind. He dealt fairly with me and I would recommend him to others.

My experience at AKJ Sales was outstanding!! Our car experienced an engine fire and we needed a vehicle right away as our daughter is very sick and we could not be left without a car for any amount of time. The experience and knowledge from AKJ Sales was very professional!! We found Ken Healy to be very helpful, not pushy, no stress in looking for what we wanted or needed.
