My husband bought a car from here like 4 years ago, and they screwed him over and basically gave him nothing for his trade in. They just added what he owed to the price of the car he wanted. So a 15K car became a 25K car. We stopped in to test drive the CX5 thinking lets waste their time for that because we were not buying that weekend. Super nice dude, no pressure so I thought maybe they had changed. BOY WAS I WRONG! A few weeks later I stopped by. They came at me with a reasonable lease deal but I still needed it a bit lower. Then suddenly I need to put $1000 down and I can't. So now according to them, my only option is to trade my car in, and buy a used car that is potentially worse than the car I presently have. (My car is fine and all, great condition. I'm just over it personally). Somehow we went from here lease this car for $355 a month to your only option is to buy a used car for 12K max. And PS you have too much in negative equity.

If I could return my 2021 Mazda 3 and request a refund ($6K down payment) I WOULD. Not because I don't like the car but because of the lack of customer service i have received from this specific dealership. As I was getting things in order to purchase a car, i felt nothing less than ultimate pressure. Nothing was explained in regards to services, warranty coverage, co-signer and or etc. As a new buyer, I would have appreciated guidance and honesty instead of misrepresentation and pressure. My friend came along with me to make the purchase. The sales representative took it upon themselves to list my friend as the primary owner and I as the co-owner. The frustration really grew when inquires and questions were directed to my friend and not me as he was listed as the primary owner. I never indicated that my friend and I resided together, however, in order to make a sale, I was told I needed to be added to his utility bills in order to satisfy the lender. Keeping in mind that my friend's score was just 2 points away from mine, I find it unreasonable to have him on the loan. 1 month into having my 2021 Mazda, my windshield chips. I called the dealership for information about coverage, costs and repairs and was told i must pay out-of-pocket or contact their third party company of choice. Just this week, my service light came on. I called the dealer ship and asked about my coverage with oil changes and was told to look at my paperwork. This has been told to me over and over again yet the paperwork was never provided to me. Fast forward to today, I hate calling this dealership because getting a call back or a question answered is extremely difficult. I am not someone who typically writes reviews but in my situation i feel that it is necessary that i prewarn potential buyers.

My car buying experience was good but everything since then has been awful. In the first 5k miles I had a slow leak in a tire that they repaired but unfortunately the repair didn't hold and the tire kept leaking. When I ask about a replacement I was quoted $400 which I thought was rediculus. When I asked if it was covered under warranty I was told it was a road hazard and not covered. As a customer service professional I would think that spending 26k on a car might be enough to cover a tire with 5k miles on it. Now I have to fill it up every 4 weeks to make sure my veh is safe. Since then I have had to schedule oil changes 2 weeks in advance. My last change I called saying I was going to be a few mins late and instead of accommodating me I had to reschedule for another week. So far my rating of the service after buying a brand new car has been very poor. I think I'll just go to jiffy lube for my oil changes and forget about Allen Web

I purchased an RX8 two months ago. The day I bought it, one of the service techs had the key fob in his pocket and broke it so I had to take my trade in home and come back after they'd ordered and programmed a new fob. Then they told me when I was there to pick it up that the ignition ring needed to be replaced so I had to bring it back in. While we were waiting for the ignition ring to be delivered the AC went out and they had to order a part and repair that as well. Yesterday, two months and three days into my ownership, the stereo shorted out and stopped working. It's aftermarket, but it was in the car when I purchased it, so I don't expect the dealership to fix it, but I do feel like they should have made sure it was working. Especially considering when they replaced the ignition ring they told me that it was shorting out because of how the stereo had been installed so I know they were in there and either messed it up themselves or should have taken the time to fix it so it was't screwing up other systems in the dash. They assured me when I purchased this that they'd gone over it and it was in excellent working condition. Two trips in to service and now I have to take it somewhere else for more work inside of two months is NOT excellent working condition. If I had it to do over I would not have purchased a car from this dealership. I'd advise you don't either.***UPDATE***I was reading through other reviews and saw that someone had posted about seeing a car on the website with stock wheels, then coming in to test drive and finding out that the rims and tires had been upgraded and the stock set was no longer available, and that this jumped the price considerably. This was part of my buying experience as well. The picture on the website showed stock wheels. The picture the salesman sent me that i have in my email right now shows stock wheels. When I got there the following day, "Oh, well, now it has upgraded rims and tires and we don't have the stock ones so the price isn't going to be $9000, it's $12000. Hope that's ok." I was pissed, but no amount of trying was able to get me the stock wheels. If I want aftermarket accessories I'd like the option to pick them myself, not finance them forever. Plus then I'd have the stock set for winter tires or whatever. Nope. Nowhere to be found. I had originally given this review two stars but since I saw that this was a common practice I've now dropped it to one.I left this review originally on Yelp, 07/06/2016

We have bought two Mazdas here before so we wanted to buy a third one. But the experience was not good. The dealer thought that since we bought two already we were guaranteed to buy a third. They didnt care about customer loyalty and didnt take that into account. They did not give us the best deal from the start, and they kept trying to push for a signature. We also brought in a trade that they valued at half of its worth, and treated it as a joke when we said its worth a lot more. The manager never came to talk to us, he just went to test drive the car we were trading with five other people, and never said anything after. You have to be good with numbers because they will give you a bunch just to throw you off. A car that supposedly had a bunch of deals on it would have been sold to us for a lot more than it was worth. I will not be returning to this dealership.

You would expect a little bit more of Shark Tank feeling when entering a dealership, it's very reassuring to know I will always get a warm welcome from the skinny guy sitting at the front desk, He's kind of like a walmart greeter, trust me, you'll know who Im talking about. everytime my Mazda has been serviced I have never been tossed around or overcharged with weird fees for things that don't need to even be repaired, and when I tell them my brakes are squeaking they actually fix my brakes and not try to tell me I need a water pump and timing belt!! Sounds familiar right? Jessica and Dave have truly earned my business. it really is a breath of fresh air to know my Alan Webb Mazda isnt the "typical" dealership you expect.

I live really close to Alan Webb Mazda, and once I brought my car in for service, they quickly found some time to squeeze a simple oil change into their busy day. As soon as I walked in I felt like I was part of the family. Not only was I greeted and taken care of by the service advisors, but the salesmen as well. They were easy to talk to and made my 45-50 min wait turn into what felt like a 15 min conversation with a good friend. Thank you Alan Webb Mazda!

I have purchased or leased many cars over the last 51 years. As mush as I love new cars, I have equally detested the painful process of their acquisition, that is, until recently.My experience at Alan Webb was, dear I say, enjoyable. My salesperson was personable, professional, and very knowledgeable. He even suggested that I bring in my two large dogs to insure the vehicle met all our needs. His follow up and follow through were exceptional. I clearly "got" that his management was supporting him.I was clear up front on what my goal was for my trade in financially. He supported me in meeting that goal without all the usual height pressure game playing. The whole process was done in a most timely and efficiently manner. I drove away in my awesome 2016 dark crystal blue CX-5

We have purchased a total of 3 Mazda cars from Alan Webb. We currently have 2 Mazdas and always take them to be serviced at this dealership. The customer service is excellent- above and beyond expectations- and the mechanics are knowledgeable and take great care of our cars. They never try to get us to buy extra services that are not needed- if they recommend a service, it is needed. Everyone is very helpful and has a great attitude. It is always a pleasure taking our cars to be serviced- usually this is a boring task that I try to avoid. But Alan Webb makes it so easy and nice, that I actually look forward to taking care of my car.

I live in Colorado and was looking for a specific car that was tough to find locally. I thought I found what I was looking for at Alan Webb, so after a few phone calls we agreed on a price and a trade-in value for the car I was going to drive there and trade in. On two separate phone calls I asked April if the vehicle had been smoked in and was assured that it had not. I put a $500 deposit down and drove there (18 hours) to pick the vehicle up.As soon as the door was opened, I knew it had been smoked it. April denied it, so I pull the cig lighter out, and sure enough, it had been used. She claimed the lighter was not previously like that and then takes it inside to (I guess) the manager to show him. I back out of the purchase, with April and the manager continuing to argue that the car was not smoked in (despite the used lighter!!). So I was out 3 days of my time, a day off work, a few thousand miles on my truck, and $400 or $500 in gas and hotels. The most ridiculous part of the whole thing was that they tried to keep my deposit, and only agreed to return it after I continued to argue and insisted on speaking with the manager. I was completely calm and polite during all of this, but they never apologized and were flat-out rude to me after I backed out of the purchase.At best, these guys are incompetent, rude, and couldn't care less about completely screwing someone over.

Cody and Dave at Alan Webb Mazda exceeded our customer service expectations. We found a great certified pre-owned CX-5 on their lot. Cody was incredibly helpful and low-pressure. We arrived at a great price and Dave was efficient in completing our paperwork and getting us on our way. My husband and I were afraid to step on any car lot to look into a new car. We did not want any pressure about buying a car, just some facts about different cars. We went to Alan Web Mazda, as we had already dealt with several car dealers that day, and we were getting really frustrated. It was a breath of fresh air at Alan Web. Our sales person, Urbano, who unfortunately no longer works there, was awsome! We came home with a new Mazda, and we love the car. It delivers everything we were told. We still go to Alan Web for service, and we leave happy everytime. The customer service is superb! Anyone you talk with is happy to answer your questions, and they do not make you feel like you are being bothersome. They will give you suggestions about different things, but they never pressure you. We will definately return to Alan Web Mazda for our next car.

We've all heard the horror stories that can come with buying a car. At age 55, I have more than a few of my own. When my wife and I decided to upgrade from a Jeep Grand Cherokee to a Mazda CX-7 we went to Alan Webb Mazda here in Vancouver, WA. I HAVE NEVER HAD A MORE PLEASANT CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE (caps lock intentional, shouting with joy)!! Our salesperson, Brian Lowe was incredible. Brian is actually now one of the sales managers and can work even harder to earn your business. I have referred close to a dozen of my friends and family to Brian and Alan Webb, that have all purchased and had the same incredible service and experience. Even without the added bonus of the $100 referral fee I would shout the Alan Webb praises from the rooftops. Looking for a different, POSITIVE car buying experience? Go talk to Brain Lowe at Alan Webb. This is the way a car buying experience should be.

What a horrific experience.Well, that's not completely accurate. My first sales guy was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, when I returned the following day to sign papers, he wasn't available. I was handed off to a 20 year old kid who could barely answer my questions, let alone handle a sale on his own. They had hand off tactics, sharky sales talks, and just bad practice in general. After given a ridiculous price on a car, I expressed that in no way was I going to pay sticker price. He asked for my counter, which was $3500 below MSRP. Not unreasonable in my opinion. He returns 25 minutes later saying he can't come close. I tell him thanks but no thanks, and walk for the door. No harm no foul at this point.Another kid who couldn't be older than 22 literally CHASES me to the door with the quote page. He starts in on how I'm insane for asking them to come down that low. To be fair, when I offered that price, I hadn't yet seen the invoice. Kid #2 tells me I'm stupid and ridiculous for even thinking they'd do that for me. He then insults me further by offering me less for my vehicle in an I'm-smarter-than-you-but-I'm-a-tiny-man-with-a-complex kind of attitude. This was the wrong way to talk to me.... it then resulted in me shouting at him for being unprofessional, rude, and downright insulting. Little brat. Is that really the way you treat someone who is trying to spend $25,000 in your store? Methinks not. Mind you, this shouting match happened in the showroom as they were trying to lock down at least 2 other sales. The low-road person in me really hopes they lost out on those deals as a result of his idiocy. I bought a Ford after that. ;o)

I took our 2003 Miata in to get a new key and FOB made. Scheduling the appointment and ordering the parts was very easy. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly Service Rep who wasted no time getting me set up for the work that needed to be done. An accurate estimate of charges was presented as well as an estimated time for completion. The waiting area had a nice-sized T.V. that wasn't working well, so a customer turned it off. Newspapers were weeks old. They should have had complimentary beverages, water, coffee, etc. The work was completed ahead of schedule and was completed as promised. I was able to order some additional parts with the promise of assistance with the installation. This was SERVICE AT ITS BEST! Many thanks to the Parts/Service staff.

We were so happy with our buying experience , Jared has us in his office and gave us top dollar for our trade and a very good price on the new CX5. Jared treated my wife and I with respect and there was NO GAMES. We have bought all of our cars from Allen Webb Mazda for 14 years and plan on buying more from them in the future. I really enjoyed my car buying experience. I was purchasing a vehicle that is in very high demand --- but the whole Alan Webb team made sure that I got to drive it home. During the test drive, my salesman was considerate enough to show me all of the features of the vehicle by directing me on a route that tested the car thoroughly for safety and handling. When it came to financing the vehicle, there was no judgment about my credit history - only the determination of the staff to find a lender that would meet my needs for factors that were important to me, such as cash down, payments, and loan structure. This team knows their lenders well, and was extremely quick at networking with the banks to make the deal happen. As it approached the time for me to drive the vehicle home, the service team immediately dropped what they were doing to ensure that my new car was clean, full of fuel, and ready to cruise. This team really enjoys what they do --- they have an appropriate depth of knowledge and enthusiasm for the brand, the car buying process, and customer courtesy. I would feel good about referring all of my friends and family to this dealership. I could go on here, but let's face it, I've got a sweet car to cruise in, so... I'm out of here! Thank you, Alan Webb Mazda!

I leased a Mazda 3 here last month. I got a very good deal and was moderately happy with the process to get a deal. Webb is no different than any other dealership with "sales game". I am extremely unhappy with the customer service/support after the sale. It is 7 days until the first payment is due and I have yet to receive ANY payment information. After about 10 calls to the dealership asking about payment information I was sent to Mazda finance and was promptly asked for an account number that I have yet to receive. I called the dealership back and after 5 or 6 calls was connected to the sales department. They told me to go to a local branch of Chase Bank. In the end I found out that Chase was given the wrong address. Even though I went to great pains to provide my MAILING ADDRESS on many occasions. Apparently, address verification is only important to the dealership when they are trying to get paid. It took 2 hours of my time to chase down the problem and fix the A Webb mistake. I would not recommend this dealership.On a brighter note I LOVE my Mazda 3!!

Worked directily with Brian Lowe in Sales. The inventory at Alan Webb is what lead me to the dealer and the friendly and courteous sales staff is why I chose to purchase my Mazda at Alan Webb. I never felt any pressure to buy, which was really refreshing. It is the reason why I will buy my next car at Alan Webb.

I had a great experience at Alan Webb Mazda, thanks largely to Cody and financial manager Jacob. Cody is a personable guy who I genuinely believe is looking to get the best deal for his customers. I called to get a price on a 2014 Mazda3 i Grand Touring, spoke with Cody, and within 10 minutes he called back with a quote that I was quite happy with. I circulated the quote with Herzog Meier (who didn't even make a cursory effort at competing with the quote I was sent), and I probably could have taken the quote back to Gladstone and worked the back-and-forth, but frankly, the quote was a REALLY good price.Now, the horror stories you hear usually involve people getting one price over the phone and getting slipped hidden fees. That didn't happen here. Cody was very up front with the fees before I even drove to the lot. $150 doc fee-- which frankly is not surprising-- and of course the $379 titling fee for a four-year registration in Multnomah County. The whole process from when I stepped on the lot to when I drove off was two hours, and 30 minutes of that was my scrutinizing the loan documents.I was a potential cash buyer. I told this to Cody, and he said, "The best price is going to be through financing." This is typical (the dealership gets more incentives if they finance it because Mazda makes money off the loans, which is kind of obvious). Alan Webb and Mazda Capital Services have no origination fees and no pre-payment penalty, so it didn't matter if I took out a loan since I can pay it off next month (though, I qualified for their 0.9% financing, so there's almost no point in paying it off).The price he quoted me over the phone was the exact price that was reflected on the loan documents. Jacob was very professional, didn't make any attempts to sell any extras. He was very patient when I asked to examine the loan document.Now, I did a lot of internet research and knew what to expect. I think people who have bad experiences at dealerships are just unprepared, frankly. Or they look at the experience as an adversarial one, and they feel that "getting over" on the dealer is somehow a win. If you go into a dealership asking for the lowest monthly payment, then frankly, you're a sucker. If you go in and tell them what your exact expectations are, then this team absolutely honors their word.I'm here to tell you: the price was totally fair. Cody was completely straight with me. Jacob was totally professional. The deal was above board, and nobody tried to sneak one past me. Call Alan Webb. Ask for Cody. Get a great price. That's all there is to it. Seriously.

Our salesman, Bano, was very friendly and knowledgeable AND EXPLAINED THINGS IN DETAIL. He answered all of our questions and concerns. The dealership is very conveniently located for us.

Alan Webb Mazda is a dealership that I would have no problem recommending to anyone and everyone. The Salesmen were extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the car I purchased which was a CX-9 Grand Touring. When I first went to the dealership - I explained to Alex that I did not want to negotiate price with the bickering back and forth. I said that I wanted the lowest amount they would charge out the door.They provided me an itemized list. The price was more than fair. I checked around. I think both Alex and Marty will continue to be successful salesmen; since, they follow up on any concerns a prospective buyer will have. Both of these salesmen worked with me toget a very good deal. Jacob (Finance man) quickly went through the documents and explained all aspects involved in the closing and made the process painless.I think it says a lot about a dealership when after the documents have been signed the salesman takes the time to install the rubber mats for you instead of leaving that for me to do.

I worked with Natalie and she was amazing! So patient and not pushy at all. She spent a good chunk of time with me because I wanted to make sure I got a vehicle that met all my needs. She answered every question I had and let me know that even after leaving if I needed help with anything having to do with my CX5 that I should not hesitate to give her a call or email. Best car buying experience ever! Would very much recommend this dealership and especially Natalie!

I contacted Kim online and she got back to me promptly. She provided great information, help, and customer service. I felt she was a true advocated for the buyer. After nailing down she specifics, I came in and met Kimberly, who has an effortless and honest demeanor - something I very much appreciated. We got down to brass tacks, which was easy, and worked to make sure we got the right car and the best deal. The best part, she worked tirelessly to help us iron out logistics (We bought the car over President's Day, so adding it to our insurance was tricky).
