I went to this dealer after a bad experience with another dealer. I had a great experience with Jarrod the salesman and financing was a snap with a low credit score. I would suggest that anyone who has credit issue's or needs a laid back, no pressure, friendly dealer, to go to All Star in Marlboro, Ma.

This service department was great. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. If this is the type of service that Allstar is going to be offering - I'll definitely be coming back for both my vehicles. One of the nicest, customer oriented service managers I've ever had to deal with.

I visited All Star Auto back in April to trade in my car toward something drivable. I have a low credit score of around 570. Dick Colby helped me get into a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse, for reasonable payments.That is where the positive aspect of this review ends. I was never told how much the car would be until the very last moment as I was signing the paperwork, although I had asked several times during the entire process. An '03 Eclipse sells for about $6000 - $8000 in fair condition. I found out that I was going to be paying $17,000 for this car. I should have stopped here, but they had already taken my trade in, (which I also found out as I was signing that I got $200 for. I would have been better off selling it to a junk yard) and I was to be left with nothing. OK, I could have dealt with that, and in fact did for several months.The day I drove the car off of the lot, the AC went. I had to bring it in to the shop and leave it there for 5 days. Good, so I'm paying for a car that I can't drive. Well that sucked, but again, what was I going to do? So I let that go, no problem. A month later the AC compressor seizes and snaps the serpentine belt, leaving the car un-drivable. I tow it into their shop, and they tell me it is going to cost $900 to repair the car, despite being told that I was going to be under a $100 deductible plan on my car. I took in to my own mechanic and he bypassed the compressor for $200. For a while I dealt with minor inconveniences and small issues until last month (August) the key got stuck in the ignition. I could not remove it at all, so I had to leave my car unsecured.That was the final straw. I have voluntarily repoed my car, and went to an actual Mitsubishi Dealer that has helped me greatly and has me much happier, in a car I can count on. I have to take yet another hit on my credit for this repo, but it is worth it to never have to deal with these people again. Even as I write this, the financing company that All Star works with, Assured Auto, who has already taken the car, still has not sent me the repo papers and is still trying to charge my account. I have filed a claim with my bank and we will be fighting these fraudulent charges.Please, I sincerely hope that you will think twice before dealing with these shysters. Even with bad credit such as mine, there are many better options.Thanks for reading my review,Jonathan Howard

I am now on my second vehicle from All Star Auto Sales. I worked primarily with Jarrod who was very friendly and attentive. What I like about the way they do things is this: First they take you inside, ask you questions on what type of car you're looking for, and they also discuss finance upfront. The financing is quick and pretty similar to every other place. Both times I have been financed through local credit unions which is great. My main reason for returning to All Star Auto is that there is NO pressure to purchase. They make car shopping a much more laid back experience. They won't put you in a car that you can't afford, unlike most dealers of the dealers I visited. Used car lots may have sub-par reputations, but there is nothing sub-par about All Star Auto Sales.

Over the past 6 years I have purchased 2 cars from Allstar Auto Sales. I have had nothing but great experiences with them. They do not give you the run around, they are honest and took care of my needs every time.Their approvals come the same day you do not have to wait three days to hear back. I first went in with a horrible credit score. They were able to get the financing for me and a great chrysler that I loved. Ben just one of the very helpful staff Allstar has showed me how to get my credit score back. I did not believe it at first but they pionted me in the right direction and I have know a great credit score. I recently just purchased a pacifica for my family from Jarrod. At first I went in and they did not have one but Jarrod and Rich were able to bring one that my wife and I just love. I reccormend all of my friends and family to ALlstar all the time. They have provided me with the best buying experience every time.

Dear Rich: Although this may be an overlooked task, I feel that I must thank you for the outstanding service my mother in-law, Carol received from you, your son Jarrod, and everyone else at allstar Auto. Iam, of course very delighted to have had the pleasure of speaking with Jarrod during my initial call on Monday. His professional and courteous attitude, knowledge, and patience in handling our specific issues were very important to complete customer satisfaction. My mother in-law was struck in a bit of a predicament. Her car had completely died, leaving her without transportation to and from work. as, such we did not have much time to shop around for a replacement vehicle. Jarrod was able to quickly provide me with a list of vehicle on your lot which met our specific criteria. Upon our arrival, you and Jarrod made the process of test driving and ultimately selecting a vehicle to purchase easy, stress free, andmost important fun. In the past, I felt that auto sales people were not sensitive to my needs and were more concerned about their commission checks. But not in this case. You and Jarrod handled our issues as if they were your own, and Carol and I are completely satisfied. Should I be in the market for a used vehicle in the future, you will be my first stop. I am writing to whole-heartedly endorse AllStar auto Sales in Marlborough as THE place to go to purchase your next vehicle and for all of your automobile service needs. I bought my vehicle this past August and my experience in working with the staff was extradodinary. Right from the beginning they set themselves apart as total business professionals. Rather than start having look at cars on the lot , they do financial inventory and then recommend vehicles that fit into your financial picture. Other dealers take you to the lot , try and sell you the most expensive car they can and then look down on you when that laon can not get approved. I had 10 cars to select from with a range of stylings, but even here they impressed me. Not only my saleperson was avaliable to me, but the owner and the service manager made themselves avalible multiple conversations about each vehicle. When i had narrowed my choice to 2 , then the owner and the credit manager worked with me to narrow down the price so that i could purchase my 1st choice. If you have any challenges in crediit score category, fear not, because they guarantee you a car loan. some dealerships treat you both as a women and as a person with some challenges with total disrespect. The people that i worked with gave generously of their time, expertise, and treated me with respect. It was the very first time in my life that the car buying experience was enjoyable. In the past i would do almost anything to avoid the car buying experience. They treat each and every person that walks into their showroom with respect and dignity, they sell their vehicles at a fair price and lay the foundation to begin a long trusting business relationship with each and every customer. I went to newenglandcarcredit.com on a last ditch effort to try and get financed for a car, as my credit is not so great. Within 15 minutes, I received a phone call from David Rothaar at All Star. He was quick, I'll give him that. I went down there and selected a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. Great looking car on the outside. When I picked it up and drove away, in the middle of July, the a/c didn't work. I called right away and informed him. He said to bring it back anytime. I brought it in that week and was told I needed to pay a deposit!! I fought it and fought it. Then, a couple weeks later, my a/c compressor seized, the belt snapped and melted all over my engine. I was without a car for 10 days, and still paying for it! They gave me a used compressor, but said in order to install it I had to pay! Thank god I have a mechanic for a stepfather. Not too much later, I got sent home from work sick with a paid day off, I was looking foward to getting home to my bed. But that dream was shortlived. I was stuck on the side of the road for 3 hours because my crank shaft sensor went, and my car just STOPPED. This time I was carless for 2 weeks. On top of all this, I got hit by a crazy old lady in a mustang, and got a check from her insurance company. In order to get anything done with the check, I had to have All Star's finance company "Assured Auto Finance" endorse it, which they would not. So, I told the insurance company, who sent me a check with just my name. Then, 5 days before Christmas, they went into my bank account UNAUTHORIZED and took $1100!! (the insurance check plus my payment) I could not buy my son the race car bed I had planned on. I tell everyone I know, plus everyone who sees my car to stay away from them. (I wrote NEVER BUY A CAR FROM right next to their stupid little decal on the back of my car) They are absolute jerks, and they should be put out of business. Stay far far away from All Star Auto and Assured Auto Finance!Now I'm selling cars for a living, and I treat my customers very highly and go to bat for them, because I know what it's like to be screwed.
