The folks at Rock River Ford, always take professional care of my vehicles. Our family always goes here. The service team is very courteous and friendly. The waiting area is clean, comfortable, and accommodating with fresh coffee, WiFi, and tasty popcorn while we wait. For the times we are busy, the free shuttle service comes in handy. Rock River Ford has always met our needs and we feel important when we go there.

Harvey, Harvey, Harvey!! What a great person to work with. I have to admit that I was intimidated pulling into Rock River Ford because everything looks so expensive. Even though, I wasn't spending 30+K on a NEW vehicle, I was not treated any differently than someone buying off the showroom floor. Everyone there was very polite and down to earth, being in the customer service industry, that is something I can appreciate. Through the two days of set backs, road blocks and fire breathing dragons both Harvey and Gregg went above and beyond to make sure it happened, I was happy and satisfied with my purchase... and for that I thank them!!

My experience at Anderson Rock River Block (Ford) was one of the best experiences that I have had at a car dealership. It was the first time I was shopping for a new car, and I was dead set on buying a Mazda; however, Will Smith converted me from Mazda to Ford in a matter of 2 days. He helped me make a solid investment, and took my budget into consideration while looking for the perfect car. I knew what I wanted to spend, and he made sure to find me the car I wanted for the price I wanted. Will was able to get me my first choice, which was a 2017 Ford Escape LE. He wasn't pushy like some car salesmen are, and he is very down to earth and honest. I can tell that he truly loves his job and cares about his customers. I would recommend him to anyone that I know!

Bernie was wonderful to work with in purchasing our new 2016 Explorer! It was just what we wanted and called us when he found our perfect car. Bernie made everything feel so comfortable and easy; and took all the time needed with us. He also took extra time to go over all the bells and whistles and said to come or call anytime with smallest question. That reassurance was greatly appreciated! Also Greg Deckman in finance found us an extra $750 in rebates when we had completed the transaction.To me, that shows honesty and loyalty of Bernie and Greg for Anderson Rock River.

William Smith at Rock River Ford did an excellent job for the new Explorer we bought. He has excellent knowledge of the different models, the features and how everything works in the Explorer. He went over all of the options with us during the test drive. After buying the vehicle from William, he explained the different financing options and different offers that Ford has for this model. After purchasing the vehicle William sat with us in the Explorer and went through all of the features and how the electronics work. I would highly recommend William to anyone buying a Ford since he went the extra mile to help us. One of best experience we had buying a vehicle we have had in over 10 vehicles that we have bought.

Matt Foley and Bernie Krowczyk are great to deal with ,super friendly and very knowledgeable about the vehicle , no high pressure here . Truck was meticulously detailed and Bernie stayed on top of that the whole way through. When I picked it up he went over entire truck exterior with me to make sure I was pleased with its appearance and then followed up with instruction on some of its features .All in all a very pleasant experience Looking for a Ford product see Bernie or Matt you will be glad you did

My husband and I both purchased vehicles from Anderson Ford within a few weeks of each other. the initial sales encounter and the helpfulness of the staff was great and they were very friendly and willing to go out of their way for both of us to find exactly what we wanted. However, sadly that is where it ended. The person that sold us my vehicle was supposed to get the spare key and get it to me so that I had it, it has been a year now and I still do not have one. I purchased one on my own about a month after my vehicles purchase and called to make and appointment and expected them to program my key fob, they refused and I was told I would have to pay about $60 for the service. While going down this road I discovered that the dealership gave me the wrong key fob as well, my vehicle has remote start (that is standard on the vehicle) and the key fob I was given did not have the button available on it. The other problem that I am currently having is that about 6 months after my purchase, my air conditioner went out. I took it to the dealership to have it looked at where I was charged $120.00 to tell me what was wrong, this on top them telling me that it was going to cost almost $1000.00 to fix. I was also informed that this, so conveniently was not covered under a warranty or the extended warranty that I purchased. So overall, I feel that the dealership initially will go out of there way to help you and get you in a vehicle that you are looking for, but once you leave the lot, they could care less. They have their money and then they are done, the sales employee Dwight was great, but the service department was less than helpful. I think that the next time I go to purchase a car, I will be looking at other dealerships.

On July 6 we purchased a used vehicle for my 16 year old son to drive to and from school. Less than two months and approximately 700 miles later the engine light came on. They did nothing about it. Mick the manager did not return my phone call and Rick, the general manager, did not return a phone call either. My husband and I are very dissatisfied with this dealership. I was told "that is the risk you take when you buy a car as is." Dwight, the salesman, said he felt bad that it happened but he "had no recourse." He sent me to autozone to find out what the code meant. No one offered to help us fix it. We bought this car because the team said it was the kind of car they would put their own kid in, this was not the car we went there to see. We are pretty sure this car had this problem when they sold it to us. We did get the car repaired elsewhere for $1800. We will never do business with them again!

I recently completed the purchase of my first brand new car at Anderson Rock River Ford. I was helped throughout the process by a fantastic man named Joseph De Riggi. I was specifically looking for a 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid with certain accessory packages, but Joseph didn't have the exact vehicle I was looking for on their lot. However, with a smile on his face, Joseph worked diligently to find the exact car that I was looking for and then completed a dealer trade to make it possible for me to make the purchase at Anderson Rock River Ford. Joseph told me that he located the vehicle for me on a Friday and it was transferred to Anderson Rock River Ford by Monday, cleaned up and ready for me to test drive. After a quick ride around the area, I was able to confirm that this was in fact my dream-car and I was ready to make the purchase. Throughout my experience, Joseph, as well as the rest of the Anderson Rock River Ford staff, made me feel extremely comfortable and valued as a customer. I headed to the Anderson Rock River Block (specifically Kia). After doing a lot of research, I knew what I wanted going in, and planned on getting more info (cost and financing) and at least one test drive.After leisurely roaming the lot for a few minutes looking at the different models, Mitch "Macklemore" Edler approached us and offered to answer any/all questions we had. Mitch's no-hassle approach from the get-go really removed the stress of buying a new car. He asked what I was looking for, and explained some of the finer details that the official Kia site hadn't covered. With details and specs out of the way, he found a model on the lot that best matched what I was looking for, and we were off on a test drive.I was able to test drive a 2017 Kia Sorento EX (turbo), essentially the exact vehicle I was looking for (minus the advanced feature packages)! Mitch and his team were able to find the exact model w/features that I wanted at another dealership, performed a preliminary credit check, and the preliminary numbers fit within what I was in the market for. While I went in to look, get info, and test drive, I ended up leaving after putting down a deposit on a new car! I wasn't pressured at any point during the process, everything just aligned perfectly!While waiting for the Sorento to arrive at the dealership, Mitch was in contact letting me know the progress, and within two days the Sorento arrived (faster than I expected)! I came in to complete the paperwork/financing and found out that Gregg Decman in finance, was able to get an even better deal over the preliminary numbers on my car loan.Overall, I can't thank Mitch and Gregg enough for such a stress-free and enjoyable buying experience. Mitch was in constant contact letting me know the progress of things, and Gregg explained every finance step along the way. We would like to provide our gratitude for three gentlemen at Anderson Rock River. First, Cesar Tapia was willing to work with me over the phone. I had done a bunch of homework including test drives at other dealers. I told him what I was looking for, and the price range. He was willing to negotiate remotely to enable our 45 mile drive to be worthwhile (with arriving just as the location was to close for the evening!). No gimmicks, bait and switch, or other tactics. He handed the sale off to one of his associates (Mitch Edler), who was absolutely fantastic. Mitch literally was running between the car, finance, copy machines, tool shop, and even between buildings. to get all paperwork squared away and to complete this deal as quickly as possible. Finance took all of about 12 minutes with the fine expertise of Jeff Winters, and Mitch finished off the purchase with cordless drill in hand to attach the plates.The whole duration at the dealership took about 55 minutes!Will definitely look to make the 45 drive for our next purchase - and will specifically ask for Mitch!Regards,J&DC

I was a bit leery of buying here as I had previous bad experiences with trying to buy a new vehicle from the Block. Heather from internet sales was a great help and when I talked to Mitch on the phone he was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The wife and I decided to go ahead with the deal and Mitch was off, but low and behold he called me and said he would be at the dealership at 4 pm to get the deal done. I would recommend seeing Mitch for your vehicle needs!!

We went to several dealerships before settling on Anderson Rock River Block to purchase a used mini van. Mitch was patient and answered all of our questions as we took multiple test drives. He answered all of my wife's many questions and gave us his time and attention. One we settled on our choice Gregg worked with us on the best deal along with the best financing. Went looking for a new Sorento, similar to one we owned but a 2017. Mitch was awsome from the start. He showed us the new features on the 2017 as well as aware of what model came with certain options. We got more options at a smaller cost by getting a SX instead of adding options to a EX. We picked up the vehicle and Mitch went through everything on the car and also going to meet up again to go over setting technical things up in the new car. He has a great attitue, not pushy, and very friendly and willing and able to answer any questions we had about the deal. I will be checking for him when ready for next vehicle.

I had a fabulous experience working with and purchasing my first car from Dillon and Rock River Block! My dad came into the dealership on a Monday looking for some information for me, and spoke with Dillon about a Kia Soul. Later that day, I stopped in and went over the features of the car and had the opportunity to drive a Kia Soul for a few days, in order to get the feel for the car and see if it was the right choice for me. When I returned the car on Wednesday, we asked if it was possible to get the Kia Soul with the 2.0 engine in white. It was not something that they had in stock, so Dillon worked quickly to find another dealership that had one, and had it transferred to Rock River Block in a day!! I purchased the car that Friday and I am very happy!! Dillon is wonderful!! He went over every step of the purchasing process with me, so that I always knew what to expect. When we noticed a chip in the bumper they got is in right away and had the bumper fixed and it looks amazing!! Dillon was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and worked hard to get me the car and deal that I was looking for!! I am very happy with my Kia Soul, and I would highly recommend asking for and working with Dillon!! Thank you!!

We were looking at a Kia Sorento and Dillon Severns went above and beyond any other salesperson I've ever dealt with to sell us a new car. He stopped at nothing to get us all the information possible to allow us to make a final decision. I worked with Jason Saenz and the purchase was so easy and stress free. He showed me exactly what I was looking for and helped compare two brands I was looking at. He listened to all of my concerns and addressed them all with kindness. He didn't give me and BS and was an honest salesman. He knew what my car was going to be used for (commuting) and focused on what's important such as MPG and Bluetooth and showed me different features that would help on the road. I was apprehensive if I would be able to get financed for a vehicle. A'lisa was wonderful!!! She took me through the process step by step reassuring me I was in a much better place than I realized. Taking that pressure away and reassuring me helped take my negative focus off of the financial part and redirected it to a positive mindset to think clearly about my options. My friend John works in service here, and I trust his judgement to be honest. When I told him we saw a car online that interested us and asked who we should deal with, he didn't hesitate. Bernie, he said.Bernie got us into the car for a test drive and then we talked about price. I was floored by the price break he offered from the start, I thought this was going to be stressful, nerve wracking... nope! We had researched and made visits to numerous car dealers to find the best value for us. Ultimately, a Kia Sedona was selected. It had the best blend of features, quality, comfortability, warranty and price. The selection was made even better by the fact that Ricky and Mitch were very interested in what we wanted to accomplish and helped provide the process to get there. Mitch was superb throughout by answering questions (some of ours and some he knew that we should have asked!). I was interested in leasing or buying a Kia Soul and I'd made an internet inquiry. The dealership contacted me, answered my questions, and invited me in for a test drive. I initially met with Cesar and then I did the test drive with Mitch. Mitch answered all my questions and he and Cesar found me a really great deal on a 2 year old Soul with very low mileage. I was looking at a new Soul, but they found me a used model that was too good to be true. I couldn't have been happier with my experience.

This will not be your typically review but certainly a wonderful one! Before we told Eric our salesman what was going on he could understand we were not like most customers. We did not want to trade our truck in. But we had to. Eric and the dealership made is as smooth as possible and worked with us!I am so grateful that this dealership was willing to help us with our finical situation due to my cancer and medical bills adding up! I just purchased a 2016 F-150 Lariat from Anderson's. My sales person was Jason Saenz. Jason was very patient and helpful throughout the entire buying process. At no time did I ever feel pressured by anyone at the dealership. I drove about an hour to look at a truck I saw on their website, only to find out it had been sold a couple of days earlier. I was a little bummed about this but Jason told me he could go out and find one exactly the same and trade one of his on the lot for the one I wanted. Sure enough, Jason did just that. He was able to find the EXACT truck in the same color and would get it in a couple of days. The price was great and he was able to get me several Ford rebates. After a fair trade in was negotiated, we made the deal. Jason was extremely patient with all of my questions and several phone calls throughout the process. I wanted add running boards and Jason was able to get them for me and have them installed prior to me picking up the truck. On the day I came to take delivery, Jason took me on a long test drive just to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Additionally, Jason spent at least an hour with me going over all the operations/features which this truck has. Jason even made sure my White Sox rear license plate frame was installed with my new plates. One last kudos came when during our walk around, we noticed a wasp had apparently built small nest inside the rear quarter panel. This was obvious because we watched an angry wasp call into a factory opening inside the bed. Long story short, Jason took the truck into the shop, and he and the crew removed the nest for me. That was above and beyond the call of duty I would say. To summarize, I would enthusiastically recommend Jason and the whole Anderson's team to my friends and family. Thank you for making my new truck purchase a wonderful experience.

I bought my Sedona over a year ago but Mitch remembers me as well as my family when I see him occasionally as I bring the minivan in for oil changes. He always asks how everyone is and how the vehicle is working and how I'm liking my car. He reminds me to let him know if he can help with anything. I remember how he changed out my son's car seat three times in the week that I bought my car--switching it from my old car to the new, then from the new to a loaner car while my heated seats got put in, and then from the loaner car back to my new car. He's a trooper! I've recently referred my sister to him and she and her family are also pleased with Mitch's help and customer service and they love their new Sportage. I will continue to refer friends and family to this dealership, specifically to Mitch.

I was deep into pick-up truck research mode, mostly interested in a low mile, well rated extended cab. My search led to many private owner, dealership, consumer, and expert review web sites. I discovered just how well used trucks hold value even with high milage, which prompted a new vehicle search. I came to realize the equity I would have after making the final payment to my lender. I was interested in a particular truck, ( Brand New ) that I had viewed on a local dealerships web site ( ROCK RIVER BLOCK ) in Rockford, IL. My wife and I decided to check it out, so we made a visit. We were greeted by Harvey Keller, never before was a new or used car buying experience delightful, so we were a bit apprehensive at first. Generally, we are immediately turned off by a salespersons rhetoric, but this was apparently deferent when we met Harvey. His greeting was very respectful, we quickly made a positive connection. Never did I feel rushed, in fact, we had conversation on various topics not related to our visit. What a pleasant person Harvey has been through our entire experience. He was interested in us! This man is exceptional, his persona, attention to detail, respectfulness, knowledge, patients and service to us has been GREAT! Bernie took the time to treat us correctly; made sure that I was happy before I left and that was no easy task. I was spending money so I took my time and had definite requests of what I wanted.I have worked with him in past. Some of the others there not so professional, and they lost sales in past due to them qualifying the customer. With Bernie it does not matter who you are he treats everyone with respect and courtesy and he works hard. You could make the process less timely by getting rid of your sales manager though the back and forth is a bit much as this is a poor reflection on the dealership not Bernie I will continue to but from him if he works for Ford or anywhere else.

I went to Rock River Ford in Rockford, IL to purchase a new vehicle. I had already done my research and knew what options I wanted. I was approached by Rob Kilmer, a sales rep, and worked with him to take a look at and test drive a new Ford Escape SE. Rob was great! He was not one of those pushy, greasy people who try to get you to buy what they want you to. He listened and helped me build one out there and determine an estimated monthly payment. I had a trade in an the team there worked with me to get me a decent return on my trade and payment plan (Thanks to Mike in the Finance Dept). All in all I believe I was treated very fairly by the dealership and would recommend going there (Ask for Rob!). I hope that other people visit this Ford Dealership and have the same great experience I did.That being said, this review is immediately after my purchase. I hope that this level of satisfaction with them continues. Only time will tell!

Robert our sales guy was nice and not pushy. Finance guy was knowledable and nice. He got me a really low interest rate. Wish the wait time to hear from bank was quicker, I'm inpatient!! Bernie has helped my family 3 times before and this time I went back to him for my own car buying experience. This is the second time Bernie has worked with us buying a car. My wife bought an Escape from Bernie in Sept. of 2015. Very nice experience. He makes you feel very at ease during the sale. I called him on 3/3/16 and asked if we could see him the next day. I told him what I was looking for, the colors I wanted, what the trade in was. He said "Sure, come on in at 11am." He had the Escape in the color I wanted all ready for us to take a test drive. We took a drive, he answered any questions we had. It was an easy choice on my part. Drove the new Escape home around 3pm.Jason was very nice and efficient with all the paperwork that had to be done.I would have NO problem telling friends to go to Bernie.

We found a price available at a dealership 60 miles away. We asked them to match the price. They found several ways to reduce their price and matched it. We have purchased many new & used cars in our life, this one is the best ever so far. Bernie is a pleasure to work with & we had a great time with him. It has been years since we purchased our last new vehicle from him & I forgot how much fun he is to work with. His knowledge & customer service is superior, he is a 10 STAR Salesmen. Mike did a decent job with our trade in value (we would have liked more money but who won't). Gregg helped explain the finance deal to us & answered all our questions, taking just enough time in doing so. After careful research, I traded in my 2006 Acura MDX for a 2016 Ford Edge Titanium AWD with Sync 3 and 2.0L EcoBoost. I had owned the Acura for 6 years. Both vehicles are fully loaded with options. I had been favoring higher end imports in the past., (We also own a 2013 BMW 535xi.) But this new Edge has made a Ford believer in me. It is loaded with electronics. Sync 3 has an intuitive touch screen display with zero lag on response. The automatic map refresh in the Navigation (GPS) screen is extremely fast. The features and options in this Edge compare favorably with a new high end Acura MDX. The only things missing are the 3rd row seats (which I don't need) and the much higher price of the MDX.Bernie Krowczyk was my sales guy and Ricky Stout was the manager in my transaction. I normally don't enjoy car shopping but their experience and attention to detail made this a smooth and very easy transaction. Bernie has been around and knows the business. He worked hard to meet my price and make the deal happen.I ordered the Edge in 2015 before the 2016 model year assembly had begun. Bernie kept me informed on the progress of my vehicle.When the car arrived at the dealership, they prepped and turned it around the same day. Finance was easy. I worked with Jeff Winters in Finance who quickly found a bank that offered a very favorable rate. I have owned and driven the Edge for 3 weeks now. Ride is smooth as silk. It has style and good looks. The mpg is great. It looks good in my garage next to the BMW. Even my foreign car friends are wowed.I am glad that I opened my mind to Ford and that Bernie, Ricky, Jeff, and Anderson Rock River Ford, were there to make this excellent new car experience happen.

Jim Hood is the manager of the preparation and detail department. The service received was excellent in every way. No pressure. I really liked how fast the process was, how the dealer (Jim Boyle) managed to make everything boyle (get the joke?) down to the essentials. I did get all the extra information in the booklets ad copies of the documents i signed. I also liked how they always kept me in mind, like for my affordability. Even though i said no to the first car, i did a little digging to find a car i liked and ultimately I left with a car I'm happy with and will last me for a very very long time. Thank you.

Drove 2 1/2 hours from Muscoda Wisconsin to purchase our new Escape. When we arrived at the dealer ship we were greeted by Harvey Keller who showed us where Bernie Krowczyk was. We called Bernie 2 days before and told him the vehicle we were wanting. Bernie got with Gregg Decman to get the approval on the loan. Bernie called the next day and asked when we wanted to pick up our new car. We picked it up the next day. We were in in out in about a hour and spent time talking to the team that treat you like family. We will travel the 2 1/2 hours again. Both the salesman, Bernie Krowczyk and the manager, Rick Stout, who helped us with our trade-in and purchase were very helpful. They understood that we did not want to waste a lot of time sitting at the dealership on a Saturday afternoon and did their best to make our time there as short as possible. I have bought several cars from them and had excellent service, good pricing, and friendly salesmen. They were able to give me a ballpark payment figure without the typical 2 hours of sitting in the salesman's office and him running back and forth to his manager. I was shopping for a late model, low-miles, used F-150 supercab. I've owned six other vehicles, but I've never bought from a dealership before, so I was a little overwhelmed with options (a huge number of dealers/salesmen and the multitude of used vehicles in various conditions) and nervous about making a wrong choice. After trying a few other dealerships and not getting what we wanted, we decided to try Anderson Rock River Block. Joseph warmly greeted us the moment we arrived and proceeded to ask what specifications I was looking for in my truck. This was an instant difference from salesmen at the other locations who wanted to go straight to their computer to find a truck for us (like I couldn't have done that at home online - and which I had) and even then weren't listening to the specifications I'd given. After scribbling down my wish list, Joe disappeared for a few minutes. The next thing I knew, my truck pulled up to the door. I can't even buy a pair of jeans that easily! It didn't stop there, however. He gave me (and my husband) a thorough explanation of the many differences between that truck and another type I was considering, and then he gave us a detailed tour of the truck's features. That gave me a much greater sense of confidence in my choice. He knows his product inside and out -- and he isn't the pushy or rude salesman we all dread. Taking customer service to another level, he even gave us a little key tag that has his and the dealership's numbers on it, should I need help with anything. There were a few other things I wanted to have done for the truck, and Joe made it very easy to arrange for those things to be done also. This was a five-star, two-thumbs, A+ buying experience and I couldn't be happier to recommend this dealership, and particularly our salesman. We were treated exceedingly well and love our new truck!

I was very hesitant to go to rock river block as I knew we would get denied a vehicle. Jim had us come in and see what could be done. As it turned out, we could not get a vehicle thru Rok river block. But jim was very helpful to us. I also have seen him dealing with other customers and you can tell that customer satisfaction is his priority. Jim is a great employee. I had a great experience at Rock River Kia and with my salesperson. I had looked at their website and found a van that I was interested in. I called and made an appointment to look at it, when I got to the dealership the van was all ready for me to drive. Once I decided to purchase it, the process could not have been any easier. Needed some service work done to my vehicle that I bought from Bernie, it was our mustang. About a month before the fourth of July parade I wanted to get it tuned up for the parade that my company was in. My car was the lead car for our group and sad to say it was not able to be repaired in time for the parade. The guys at the Rock River Block went above and beyond to try and get it repaired in time for the parade. One thing after another was going wrong with my car and much of it revolved around the program that the previous owner had installed along with some other xxxx parts. The repair bill was thousands and I paid only my warranty deductable. The guys worked hard to prove to ford that even though I had the car for over a year, I had only put 1500 miles on it. Somehow they did it and not only did they stand behind the car but they gave us a rental for the parade! Brand new 2016 mustang! Rick! Your amazing! The fact that you lead by doing what is right and fair on behalf of boboth parties, not only does this speaks to me about your character but it sure as xxxx empowers your team to do what is right! Thanks so much for everything you did for us with the mustang and everything else in between! My wife & I had a very nice experience buying our 2016 Escape. Joseph sat down with us to find out what our needs were. He showed us a very nice Escape, but it was a little out of our price range. He then showed one that had a couple less options that was perfect for us and it fit our budget. After we bought it Joseph spent at least an hour showing us how to use every option. From the time I walked in the door my experience was great. Rick Stout greeted me and once I explained what my interest was he found someone that knew about my needs. Eric Kilmer helped me determine if leasing was what would work best for me and matched my price points and was pleasant during the whole process. Eric Kilmer was the best!Eric went above and beyond in helping to alieviate my apprehension at purchasing a vehicle. This was my first purchase of a Hybrid, having just spent the worst 2.5 years of my life in the car from "hell" (not purchased in Rockford, MY MISTAKE)He walked me through the process, really interested in what my needs were and educated me about hybrid vehicles in general. He made went above and beyond, explaining the features and history of the vehicle I selected. He even drove my new vehicle to my home, as I had no way of getting 2 cars home. Even though the dealership was closed by the time we were leaving, Eric sat in my driveway with me to go over features and help me become acclimated to the technology, demoing the Navigation and Entertainment systems, even going so far as to pair my phone.I can't say enough about how much he lessened the stressfilled, apprehension I walked in with. Jim Boyle was the best car dealer that I've ever worked with. He made sure that my I felt as though the whole experience of buying my car was in my hands. I could not get traction in the snow with my 2014 Ford Fusion and with the help of the salesman Mitch Elder we realized that the car had been delivered with summer tires having a zero snow rating. The car also had black rims and the paint was peeling. Rick Stout got involved and went above and beyond to work with me to come up with an equitable arrangement to replace the tires and rims and to keep me as an Anderson customer. I needed to replace my 10 year old car (196k miles). My mechanic suggested Rick Stout. Rick and Eric Kilmer helped me find a brand new 2016 Ford Fusion. I told them how much I wanted for my car, how much I would put down & what I wanted to pay monthly. I left for dinner, came back & the car was mine. I didn't have to sit through the hours of negotiating that you normally have when buying a new car. They exceeded my expectations. I was in desperate need of reliable vehicle to take my 3 babies around in. I remember a salesman from rock river ford that helped my son when nobody else would ( Joseph Di Riggi ). I called them and told them what I was in need of and he went above and beyond for me. Not only did he find me a beautiful van but the dealership also got me financed that same day. I drove out of there with the van that same night. Which turned out to be a good thing because the car we drove there in wouldn't start when we were ready to leave. Two days later they called me to come back. They got my interest rate cheaper than was originally financed for with a different bank. I got an even lower payments. Thank you all so much. Joseph, was amazing. Very accommodating. I bought my first car (post college) w/him. He was very easy to contact when needed. Super sweet. Very approachable, & also knew when to give us space. My car was used but practically new, only 7,000miles! Great price on it too! Tires practically new! My only recommendation is that I would've preferred the dealership to have taken care of making my spare key, through the drlrship I ended up meeting a guy in a parking lot & I being a mid 20s girl was quite nervous (This is Rockford after all). Joe was over exceptional & I definitely would buy from him & without hesitation recommend him. P.S. I also appreciated how clean & salted their property was in the winter, I almost slipped at Speedway when looking for at a Hyundai (earlier that day when I bought my Chevy)

Stas Tsigler explained everything about the car choices we were interested in and answered all of our questions. He gave us clear information about the cost. I had the good fortune to meet Mark Armato. Mark is the best service person I have ever dealt with and that covers a lot of years, a lot of different brands and a lot of dealerships. We had a very positive experience in working with Eric and the team at Rock River Ford. We made numerous visits and test drove various vehicles before deciding. Eric was always available for appointments and always had the selected vehicle ready for us when we arrived. We appreciated the low pressure environment and were not inundated by phone calls. The follow-up "Thank you" cards we received by mail after visiting were a nice touch. We were also impressed with the dealership hours, as we were able to close our deal at 8:30 pm and to be able to get license plates at that time was great. I had a good experience with the dearler. It was a bit of a long wait, but a small portion of that time was my fault(missing paperwork). It was my first time going to a dealer so yeah...Jonathan Hamlin was my salesman he was good. I would have liked to have said that he was great, but he let me buy a car w/o telling me that it needed a new clutch. I still would have bought the car knowing that, because it was still better than my trade( piece of crap). The car service told me that they did let him know about that, so I'm not sure what happened there. I also didn't test drive it so that was dumb on my part. That's the reason why I gave four stars, because he didn't tell me. The part is being ordered so that should be fixed soon I hope. I had Gregg Decman as my finance guy he was great. He made me feel at ease and he kept my mom and I laughing the whole time. With those minor hiccups I'm still happy with my 2013 Ford Focus.

When I was ready to leave with my new car Jon Sat in the car with me and went over a lot of the features and said that if I had any questions after I leave to just give him a call or stop back and he would be glad to help me. Mike in the Finance department was also very knowledgeable and quickly processed my loan application. Jason was also helpful when it came to explaining about the term of the loan and rates.

Christine, my 2004 Jeep, that was nothing but grief and trouble died and I needed a car. My mechanic recommended on of his friends who worked at Top of the Block. My son and I went over there and were immediately greeted by Dwight Pearson. We told him we had been referred to one of their employees by our mechanic. Dwight took us to see Mick Richards. Dwight is no hesitate in trying to set up us up with whomever we came to see. None of that trying to steal a potential customer from a fellow salesman. Integrity is a rarity in today's sales fields. We told him we were there to see another of their employees, Mick explained to us the predicament regarding the referral and asked if we would be comfortable working with Dwight. Mick promised to high pressure sales, all our questions would be answered, and they would find us something that we would be comfortable for us. He also said Dwight would as a lot of questions and he did. Questions about our like and dislikes, driving habits, who would be driving the car, financial situation and payment comfort level. Dwight and Mick found 4 cars that they thought would be a good match for us. We tried out car after car. We laughed about cars, tried on a dream cars, and, eventually, decided on a very low mileage, well loaded, classy looking 2012 Jeep Liberty, We got a nice deal on the car with a low interest rate on our loan. Another mechanic checked out the car and said he would buy the car for his daughter to drive. What started out to be a very stressful situation turned into a rather enjoyable experience. All in all, it was the most fun I have had buying a car.

Poor professionalism, no customer service. I have more to say about this dealership as a negative than I said through the whole buying process. I have spent almost an equal amount of time trying to get them to fulfill their contract than I did while purchasing the car. I have filed professional level complaints with the BBB on them, though they are not accredited (wonder why). I went all the way to the top, Rick Stout, and for that I was granted a $25 mobile gift card to make up for the five different trips I have made down to the lot to speak with them.

Yes, I have purchased several vehicles with his excellent assistance. He is a special sales gentleman in that he understands his customers, their specific needs and inclinations. Mr. Krowcyzk develops an understanding of his clients that then allows him to give you just the right, and correct assistance that you need, such as in helping you decide on the type of vehicle first, through the options and details, to the exacting explanations of all those features. In addition to his uncanny perception in really getting to "know" people, he also seems to always know when they need a little time to think things over, to decide, to consider new and different ideas, etc. He is such a genuine and caring "people " person. This is not as easy or common as one might think. It takes education and understanding and heart. At first I was skeptical about purchasing from a LARGE dealership. Dwight Pearson was our sales consultant. He immediately made our purchasing experience one of the best we could have ever had. My family has bought new and used vehicles from Bernie at Anderson for many years. While we have always bought Ford, this time we were in the market for a used mini van and Ford hasn't sold mini vans for years so I didn't call Bernie. Rick, a great manager at Anderson and a new friend heard we were in the market and let Bernie know. Bernie reached out to me right as I was on my way to a different dealership to likely buy a used van we had found online. After telling Bernie about our plan he asked if he could help in anyway and offered to help me find something at Anderson Chrysler Dodge and Jeep. I told him thanks but Anderson doesn't have any used vans meeting our needs and the new ones that did were way out of our price range. Long story short Bernie and Rick brokered a great deal and a low interest rate on a brand new Chrysler mini van with the guys over at their Anderson Chrysler dealership. We were able to buy new loaded mini van within our use vehicle budget. Thanks to Bernie and Rick for going the extra mile. Also Pat and Kevin at Chrysler were very nice to work with and very helpful with closing out the paperwork and delivering the vehicle.

I have been a customer of Bernie Krowczyk for about 8 years. I love working with Bernie. He is not like your "normal" salesman. I have never been pressured when buying a vehicle from Bernie. We bought a 2015 Ford Taurus from Bernie Krowczyk last Friday, March 20, 2015. We wanted a bronze fire color, so Bernie sent people over to Freeport to do a dealer trade! He had a black Taurus on the showroom floor, but when I told him that I didn't like the black one, he said that he would get me whatever color I wanted! And, of course, he did! He always asks us when we get ready to take our new vehicle home, "Are you sure you're happy with it?" He has always been concerned with how we feel when everything is said and done! He is an excellent salesman, but more important, he is a true and honest friend. Bernie has sold us 16 new vehicles in the last 18 years. So you know that we really like and trust him! We hope he never retires! :)

Mitch Edler was a very comforting, calm salesman. He was by no means pushy nor did he make me feel like he was in a hurry to make the sale. I was torn between two vehicles when it came down to it, one of which was much higher priced than the other. There was no pressure from Mitch when it came to the final decision process. To top it all off, Mitch came in on his day off to finalize the sale and get me out of there with my new vehicle. Overall, this was a very positive buying experience and I would highly recommend Mitch and Anderson Rock River Block to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.

My husband and I were in Rockford visiting my mother who was in a nursing home. My husband had told me he thought he might venture out to do some fact finding in preparation for beginning truck shopping. I believe he told our salesman that there was no way he was going to be buying a truck so if there were other "live" customers to wait on them......My husband brought the truck at lunch time for us to test drive and we both fell in love with it! Everything about this sale was smooth and pleasant. From scheduling a time to bring in our trade for them to look over, to picking up the new truck, to service after the sale - Jason Saenz has taken great care of us and even though we live out of town we are thrilled that we purchases our new F-150 4x4 from Rock River Ford!

I first came to Rock River Kia a week after my car was totaled in a hit-and-run, thinking that within the next week or so I would able to buy a new vehicle. Chris sat down with me and went over my options; I had bad credit, and still owed over $6K on the totaled car (after the insurance pay out) that my entire tax return would have to go to. It turned out that it would take almost another 5 weeks for my old Lienholder and Insurance to work things out to where my old loan was paid off, freeing me to buy a new vehicle. Chris kept in touch with me over the whole process, sending me info about used cars coming in that would fit my budget; and never once did he lose patience with the process that I had no control over. When I was finally able to come in to buy a car, he was able to get me into something much better than I had expected with my Credit; and the process was quick and easy. I will happily recommend all my local friends to this dealership, and to Chris in particular.

A wonderful, wonderful customer service team with a special mention to Megan and Matthew as well as Service Manager Don, at Andersons Rock River Ford. Briefly, my wife and I were traveling from Grand Rapids, MI to Minneapolis MN, with our 99 year old grandmother, transferring her to a nursing home in MN. We had to get to MN in a single day to continue Medicare coverage. Our 2013 Ford Fusion broke down in Rockford, IL and we called Ford Roadside assistance. Luckily they sent us to Megan at Andersons Rock River Ford, who came and picked us up and transferred us to a Rental Car Company and sent us immediately on our way and we made it to Minneapolis in time. Matthew coordinated the towing of the car to receive it that day and with his service team was able to repair the problem so that we could pick the car up on our way back through the very next day. They kept in touch with us about the problem and their assessment of it. The car was under warranty and some dealers may have found other things wrong with it but Matthew and his team made a single repair and found that it fixed the entire problem. So, they finished up and made it available to us for pickup.It is very nice and refreshing to have such a group of people go out of their way to help strangers without apparent compensation. Bought 2012 MKZ and during financing Josh said he added extend warranty to my loan. He said it was only 5 dollars a month extra. Turns out it cost 34 dollars a month. I drove 50 miles back to Rockford and canceled warranty. Totally taking advantage of. I will never walk though the doors of ROCK RIVER FORD AGAIN!!!!!!

When I first went into Rock River Block, I told Jason I wanted to buy a Chevy Cruze. I told him what I liked about the car and he let me test drive one. When I came back from the test drive j didn't like it as much as I thought. Jason then suggested a focus which fit the reasons for me wanting a Cruze. I went in on a Tuesday picking out what I wanted in the focus. And Black Friday I received it. They drove to another place to get me my car in a timely manner. I LOVE my focus and I am so happy Jason suggested it. Great customer service and left very satisfied with the choice of car!

Rock river ford is by far the best Anderson dealership! I purchased a 2013 fusion! Jason was very negotiable and understanding of my situation and strived to give me the best deal possible! They gave me a very reasonable deal on my trade and the financing department is wonderful.. very thoughtful too! I love the fact that they purposefully made my life easier by getting my car loan through the same bank as my mortgage... and i didnt even have to ask! The extra steps they took to ensure customer satisfaction went a very long way with me and when I need to purchase a vehicle again I WILL be returning to this location.

I live in new jersey and bought my car online from the rock river salesman Jason online. They had the perfect car I was looking for. They made it a very comfortable buying experience and really did a lot to help minimize any worry that the car is anything less than perfect. We have had the car for about a month and it has been great! Jason helped take tons of pictures to show the condition of the vehicle and he even helped coordinate the shipping g for us. After.a few evenings of reviewing photos and negotiating price , we reached a deal and the car was delivered to my house About a week later. The only hiccup in the process was a slight delay in waiting for the title to arrive in the mail. Other than that, everything was great!

I was looking for a vehicle for my mother, I visited atleast 14 dealers around Rockford, searching for the best deal, best condition and something that my mother would love. After searching for atleast 1 month and had pages of notes, well I was getting a bit tired of telling my whole life story again and again to the salesmen. My mother kept going back and fourth on her choices. So I decided to go back to the Rock River Block not only because they have about 600 used cars to choose from but also because I felt that Tito was the most straight forward honest salesrep that I had talk to. Long story short I bought this beautiful 2009 chrysler town and country. My mother has driven it for over a month now and its been great.. I got treated with dignity and respect.. most of all my mother is extremely happy.

Just bought a new KIA Optima from Rock River Block. I have been looking throughout Chicago for the exact vehicle I wanted and the price I was willing to pay. Although Rockford is 90 minutes from my house, it was well worth the drive. I dealt mainly with Jody Petrie through e-mail and the phone. She was AWESOME to work with. I was on the west coast when I sent my initial inquiry via their web site. It was midnight where I was (2AM in Chicago). Jodie picked up my message and sent me an answer 30 minutes after I submitted my information. She was quick to respond and answered every dumb question I had. She even e-mailed me pictures of the wheels!We reached a deal over e-mail and I made the drive. Everything I was promised was true and my deal was done in 30 minutes. They were great to work with. I would highly recommend the dealership - and make sure you contact Jody! I will definitely work with them again for my next Kia purchase.The car is fantastic as well. I bought the Optima SX. I have owned Honda, Acura, Toyota and Nissan. The value in this car is hard to beat and the feature list is unreal. The Japanese manufactures have their work cut out for them - Kia and Hyundai are on a roll - now I know why!

Went there yesterday, for an appointment, was met in the parking lot by a salesman, who was not the one we were there to meet. At first he was very pleasant, but when we went in to talk numbers, things did not seem to work out as we had hoped. It differed greatly from what the online price was (by over 2ooo)Part of this was a misunderstanding on our part, but they started the deal much higher then I expected and tried to make it look really good, but I honestly feel, they were overselling the car. Later, after much confusion we decided to walk away from the deal and go talk about it. we were told we were stupid for not going ahead with the deal, and that we wasted his time. When making a purchase of a new car, you do not drive an hour to get insulted. Clearly high pressure sales, without much negotiating room. I will not be guilt tripped into a major purchase. Their online prices will lure you in, but buyer beware, they will not deliver anywhere near what seems to be promised. I have never had a worse 4 hours at a auto dealership, and I am very glad we made another hour drive out east to where our business was appreciated. The only thing nice I have to say is, the sales manager seemed much nicer and almost irritated with the salesman as well. Also the internet sales manager Stephanie was very nice and seemed to know what we were there for.

My husband and I, stopped in to look at the new Kia Optima. Every person that we came in contact with were all so very nice. From the sales manager all the way down do the young man who was cleaning the show room floor, it's like we were family. We will be doing all of our car purchasing with the folks at ROCK RIVER. We had been looking at a lot of cars and the Kia blew all of them away. I have never driven a car that made me feel as comfortable and secure as the Kia Optima did. We felt that we waked away with a deal of our life and made great freinds as well. The entire process was great, they showed us every inch of there facility so that we new everything they have to offer. I think the best part was that they took the time to help me understand my new car and helped me program my bluetooth. These are people who care about the people who come into there dealership. Best experiance ever!

The group here on Perryville Road did a fantastic job! The true test is when something happens when buying a used car. I bought a used 2008 Santa Fe. The issue was a lost key. Tony stepped in and instantly corrected the situation. Andy (loans) said he would beat my bank's the rate. He did even after I received the car 1 day later! This group works as a team and focus on fitting you into the right vehicle. Great job. You have converted me to Hyundai!

Pat was amazing. She is knowledgeable and worked hard for us. I never felt any pressure. She was proactive in all of her contact with me, but not over-bearing. I would recommend anyone looking for a pre-owned or new car to work directly with her. You will not be disappointed.

Brought the car in for Bumper to Bumper service 2 months old. Breaks are not working, there is a grinding noise and a slip. (Bad Huh) Steering wheel controls are not working for the SYNC phone system a $2,000 option. I did not buy the car at this dealer, but that is a whole other story. However for service any dealer is and should be there to represent the Ford Motor Company and treat its customers with Care and Respect. This dealer has consistently over the past 3 years I have had to work with them been disrespectful of anyone who has not purchased a car there (I have another car where I get the same treatment from them on, real surprise huh!) We told them the "OK" button did not work, a week before we dropped the car off. They waited until we picked the car up 7 hours later to say that they did not find anything wrong with it. Hummm We called the car's hands free 10 times in a row using a second cell phone, and each, yeah each time it did not pick up when pressed, so what did they do all day long? What test did they actually run? Why did they make me prove it when they could have tested the system themselves, lazy and disrespectful of my time. Bumper to Bumper right? Well they do not know what's wrong since the car is so new, really? Second model year, and the Sync has been around for 4 years now. Great service huh. Next, the Breaks, those are pretty necessary. They claim that FORD has a recall and that parts are not available until Nov 11th, some 20 days from now. Breaks, Think... Firestone or Midas could install breaks in 2 hours or so, try NAPA maybe or Autozone? This is FORD, what do they use some 1000 break assemblies a day in this FLEX factory alone? Is manufacturing in this country constrained right now? NO! This is a BREAK issue and the dealer sent us away! Safety Critical item? What clowns work at this dealer? What clowns demean you while you stand there and show them the issues and say take it back to the dealer you bought this car at? Stay away from these guys they are bitter, unresponsive, unreasonable and disrespectful. Rock River Ford does Not Care about the customer or the children that have to drive in this car even after they know there is a safety problem.

I would recommend this dealer to anyone because of the great service. Right as you walk in the door you can feel the friendly atmosphere in the air. Bernie was polite, professional, and to the point. You could tell he knew what he was talking about and that he really listened to you. He also gave me a great deal and talked me out of ,what i believe, could've been a mistake and put me in a brand new 2011 ford focus. Bernie was very low key and did not use any pressure tactics which I have encounted at other dealerships. He was very professional and the dealership offices and show rooms were open and welcoming. I have not experienced any service issues, as I just ordered a new car, but have been assured by Bernie that he will be there to assist with any issues should they come up and has already given me the service managers card.

We were very comfortable with our salesman, Joseph. There was never any high pressure sales pitches. Joseph was very professional and knowledgeable. We had decided to buy a Ford because they were the only company not to take a buy out and we have always prefered Ford products anyway. The entire atmosphere of the dealership was friendly and comfortable. We have already recommended this dealership to our friends.

scott was a no pressure sales person. he asked me what i was looking for and found a ford ranger that i wanted. i would reccomend scott and anderson ford to purchace a vehiclewe looked 3 different times to find the ranger and financing ...then ford came out with 0 percent and it was a done dealthanx again

I went into the dealership just to drive a Ford Edge to see if it was something I wanted to pursue. From the moment I walked in, everyone was very friendly and professional, but never pushy. They had the vehicle I wanted in stock, let me drive it, and I fell in love. Three days later, they had given me the price I wanted, gotten financing done, explained every detail about the car, and I was driving home. The experience could not have gone any easier.

Morris was great! He showed me different models and was patient with me while I compared notes and prices. Rock River was the best value I found and I didn't have to go far to find it! After the sales process was complete Cesar, the finance guy, got me a really good rate at a local bank and completed my experience with a great finish. I recently took my 5 year old Sonata into have some service. There were problems with the Engine and it has the 10yr/100000 mile protection plan...or so I thought. The clutch was slipping, which is not covered. With that said, before I knew the damage, the Service people said there was coffee upstairs in the showroom. It took all of 2 seconds to realize that this was a tactic to get me towards the new cars. Where upon I meet Dave. "How is it going" he said with a smirk. After explaining that I am here just to figure out what is wrong with my car he promptly suggested that I give one of the new models a spin. Not really interested, I decided to take it out around the block. I think I stunded them when I took it just around the block. Anyway, to make a long story short when I got back service told me that it was going to cost me about $1200.00 dollars to fix my car. "Needs a new clutch and some other parts", she said bold faced. "Shouldn't this be covered?" I said. "Nope..." Well I don't think so, I thought. "I think I will pass and take it home to store it" I said. "Oh...well it is going to cost $90.00 for us looking at it!" So I paid the clerk and when I turned around who should be there but Dave. With that same stupid smirk he asks if I want to take the new car home for a while to think about it. Thinking better, I told him to call me with a final price and I would think about it. He called about an hour later for what he claimed was a steal, which was more than the car was stickered at and offered $500 for my car in trade. ($1500 less than Kelly Blue Book value.) Thinking better I decided to have my car looked at by another dealer...20 minutes later and $139.00 bucks my car was running like new again. It needed a minor adjustment on the clutch and a tune up. Humm...Rock River Hyundai likes to get you coming or going. I cannot help but subscribe to all the other web pages that have said the same thing about RRH...they will rip you off if they think they can. My advice is stay as far away as possible from these yoko's. The only reason that I gave them a 3 on Friendliness is that they are friendly, but with friends like them who needs enemies.
