13 years since buying a new car; was expecting a more pressured/stressful experience; and the end result was a helpful; informative salesman (Andre' Gayle) who listened to what I was looking for, and although not easy to find at this time of year was persistent in locating and obtaining the exact car I wanted with the specs I requested (color; type of Outback; etc) at a fair price! On top of that...the actual looking/buying process - test drive, financing, etc. was simple and pleasant from all staff involved! paperwork and finalizing everything took about hour and a half; but that's pretty typical from what friends/family have told me; and there was plenty to review while I waited. I love my new car, but I also am thrilled that everyone involved lived up to their advertising of friendly, exceptional customer service!

Went in on a whim but found a nice selection of all wheel drives. Very surprised at the size and quality of the Forester. Bought one. Only criticism is it took waaaaaay too long to take delivery with all the paperwork, tour and " add-on" pitches

Working with Arthur Jones ("Ottie") was a pleasure. He was very easy going even when I changed my mind at the last minute from purchasing the Forestor to an Outback. Paperwork was a breeze since we did it mostly via email. He spent quite a bit of time going over the car's features and I would definitely recommend him to anyone interested in buying a Subaru.

From the moment we entered the dealership, things went smoothly. We were happy to work with Arthur (Otte) Jones, a personable, knowledgable young salesman. (We highly recommend him.) We had done our research and had it down to two cars, a Subaru Forester was one of them. He quickly found one with the accessories we wanted and we were able to test drive it immediately. Within days, it was ours (the visibility far exceeded other competitors and as all else was equal, we moved forward). The 0% financing was a bonus. The color we wanted was not in their inventory, but was quickly found and dispatched. We opted for the protective coating, which took another day, but they were able to do it the following day. We were shown the service department for maintenance. Otte was clear and patient as he demonstrated all the bells and whistles associated with driving the car and setting up the accessories. Overall, the experience was pleasant (I'm not a fan of car purchases, but this was painless). Everyone ( including gen manager, financing person) was friendly and sincere. The dealership was attractive.

I had dropped in originally without an appointment. She was happy to work with me and then when I was ready to purchase, Tracey was there. This is my second Subaru and I bought from the same dealer. I highly recommend this dealership if you are looking to buy a new Subaru in the MD/NoVA region. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. They have a great selection of cars and were very happy to work with me as I decided between several models. I eventually decided to order (so that I could get a port installed trailer hitch) and they provided a very accurate delivery estimate. The finance department offered the typical additional warranties/etc. but again was not pushy. Additionally, no accessories were 'pre-installed' in an effort to guilt you into buying them. The final cost added up to exactly what I expected (and we had agreed upon at order). On the delivery day the car was cleaned up beautifully both inside and out. Overall the dealership was a pleasure to work with. I have not dealt with the service center yet, however from the employees I met and the clean and professional appearance of the shop, I expect the experience will be excellent as well.

Our interaction with Mr. Rucker started in June 2015 and extended until our final decision to purchase a Outback in October 2016. During that time he demonstrated the Outback features in great detail, responded promptly to telephone and e-mail questions and provided in depth demonstration of the eyesight system and other features on the car. We highly recommend Ed to future Annapolis Subaru costumers. Each of the other employees we interacted with had the same professional demeanor as Mr. Rucker. A great organization to deal with.

My wife and I came in at the end of the month to purchase a Certified Pre-Owned Subaru Outback. The vehicle had low miles, was in very good condition, and came with a 7 year 100,000 mile warranty. In addition to providing an extremely good product, the folks at Annapolis Subaru were a pleasure to deal with. Our salesperson, Ramon Garcia, was extremely nice to work with. He introduced himself on the lot and was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, but not at all overbearing. He was very patient with my wife and our 4 month old son and did his best to come to a price point we could all be happy with. We worked with Bob (go Terps!) in financing and finalizing the contract was a breeze. They offered a better interest rate than I could get through either my regular bank or mortgage provider and did not have any hidden fees. I filled out a couple online car loan calculators before going to the dealership and the monthly payment they offered was a couple dollars cheaper than I had calculated! To sum it all up, the Certified Pre-Owned Subaru vehicles are excellent, the employees at Subaru Annapolis are excellent, and I would recommend this dealership.

I worked mostly closely with Roy McHiggins and he was fantastic. In August he helped my boyfriend purchase an Impreza. Since he had such a good experience with Roy then I went back to learn about options for leasing a Forester. It was my first lease and Roy did great to explain everything in detail. He consistently expressed patience and understanding no matter how many questions I had. It took me over a month to make my decision, but when I finally did the rest of the team was great as well. They all worked with me to ensure I was getting the vehicle and deal that I wanted. I did not feel pressured to purchase things I didn't want, but they all made sure I got what I needed. We visited the dealership on a Wednesday afternoon and went on two test drives with Ottie Jones. We knew we were looking for an Outback and Annapolis Subaru had the exact one we wanted. Ottie was very knowledgeable and was probably one of the least pushy car salesmen we've ever dealt with. We came back the next afternoon and several hours later we drove off with our new car. We visited Herb Gordon Subaru before coming to Annapolis Subaru. The salesman at Herb Gordon informed us that it was unreasonable for us to expect to get the vehicle that we wanted so late in the month...so, we decided to try another dealer, and we chose Annapolis Subaru. We couldn't have been more pleased with our decision. Our salesman, Erik Wangdahl helped us get our Subaru Forester at the right price, in the color and with the accessories we wanted, without any pressure or hassle. He was very responsive to our telephone and email inquiries from our initial contact through the delivery of the vehicle. When we took delivery, Erik spent a lot of time making certain that we understood how the different features of our SUV worked, including how to use the Bluetooth and synching up our phones. He also indicated his willingness to help us with any questions about our vehicle at a later date, if we have any. I have no doubt that if we have a need to ask a question, that he would get back to us in a timely fashion. Erik was a pleasure to deal with. His knowledge of the product is exceptional and his professional manner was really appreciated. I fully appreciate the sales personnel at Annapolis Subaru. They were very helpful and patient. It took me months to over research various makes and models. I had been a Toyota driver for twenty years, was considering an Audi or Infinity. During my research time all my questions were answered and helpful information over and beyond my expectations. I ultimately ordered the Legacy with V6 and some personalized options. Sales Associate Erik Wangdahl was phenomenal. He helped me make informed choices and kept me up to date during the process of my vehicles journey to me. Once it arrived, he showed me all the Bells and Whistles and how and when to use them. I had an amazing experience at Annapolis Subaru dealership, Mr. Ed Rucker is a well polished, respectful, and easy going salesman and person. He immediately gained my respect when I first went to the dealership with his knowledge and professionalism and upon leaving I was allowed to leave verses being told to hold on then 5 minutes later two sales people come back and try to strong arm me into buying a vehicle which makes for a bad experienced and in my opinion is borderline harassment (that happened at another dealership). The process with Annapolis Subaru Dealership was a weeks length and I was not harassed nor pressured into buying the vehicle. I purchased a used 2012 BWM Series 1 from Annapolis Subaru. This was my first purchase of a used car. With any purchase of this type, the purchase should be made with a peace of mind and confidence that you are making a quality purchase. I did my homework and obtained as much of the history of the car prior to purchase. I worked with Ed Rucker on this purchase, he was my sales man on the purchase of my first Subaru, a 2013 Legacy, which was an excellent purchase as well. I traded the Subaru in for the 2012 BMW Series because I wanted a lower payment but a high end car. I trusted Ed's advice on the purchase of the BMW. I received a 90 day dealer warranted on the car and purchased a third party warranty from the credit union. I had a few minor repairs that needed to be taken care of and Annapolis Subaru immediately took care of all the repairs. After 30 days of driving the car, I can safely say that I am happy with my purchase and enjoying driving the convertible BMW. Thank you Ed and Mike Stoughton, the sales manager, for all of your professionalism during this purchase. I appreciate the service you extended to me.

We selected a 2017 Subaru Forester with standard transmission (so that we could tow it behind our motorhome). The one we selected was in transit, so basically we bought it sight unseen and put $500 down to reserve it for us. When it came in, our salesperson immediately called us and we immediately went over and took it for a test drive. Two days later, we drove it home! Simple.

I just picked up my new 2017 Forester last night after trading in my 2013 BRZ. Stephanie Dewey was my sales rep and she did an excellent job of guiding me through the process without a hiccup. I did all my research on this Subaru Legacy online and made all the purchasing and financing arrangements by email or online while stationed overseas. Tracey Hammer did a thorough job working the details and I was able to arrive from overseas at 4pm, meet Tracey and folks at Annapolis Subaru at 7pm (I was an hour late due to Wash DC rush hour traffic but they took it in stride), get the purchase and financing sorted, and out the door by 8:30. They ended up staying open past quitting time and also helped me return my rental.

After 2 visits to Annapolis Subaru and test driving lots of cars with my salesman, Kyle Lindsay, I ordered a Crosstrek. The car came in, as promised, in about 8 weeks. Unfortunately, when Kyle called to let me know the car was in, I was taking care of a close family member who was ill and had taken a turn for the worse. I explained my situation and advised Kyle that I was unable to pick up the car and didn't know when I would be able to pick up the car. Kyle and everyone at the dealership treated me with kindness and compassion, they heard me, they understood my situation and they held my new car on their lot for about 3 weeks. The day after my family member passed, I called Kyle and said I was ready to pick up my new car. Even though it was Kyle's day off, he offered to pick me up and bring me to the dealership so I could get my new car. WOW!!!! What service!!I was not in a good frame of mind while picking up my car, but Kyle and Billy Sadtler (finance) treated me with kid gloves and helped me thru the process! This was the best car buying experience I have EVER had!!!!!

The sales agents and managers at Annapolis Subaru lack professionalism. The don't return calas, don't respond to emails and you have to chase them down to get a status. The car I owned for 12 years finally gave in, so, I searched for a replacement. I found a used bmw convertible online and made inquiry. I went in store and test drove it. I was told that vehicle had passed inspection. With their permission, I drove vehicle to my mechanic for inspection and he said it would have failed his inspection. There were several problems, the top would not open or close properly, the windshield needed replacement, and the engine service light was on. I shared this with the manager and he brushed me off. I informed that I would buy it once they fixed it. Financing was approved. I was prepared to leave a down payment on the vehicle, but was told it was non-refundable. After two weeks of being told that vehicle was being repaired, I heard nothing more. I called and left messages and sent email for status, no response. Finally, I called the gm, no response. I escalated to exec vp who did return my call and he told me that he'll have used car manager call me within 10 minutes. That call never came. HOWEVER, laterThat evening, I received an email from sales agent that vehicle was sold. Vp asked me to forward my emails to him and said he would get back to me the next day. I sent emails, he never got back to me. I followed up with vp and expressed my frustration of lack of communication from top down, and his response was "at the end of the day, it was better that things didn't work out because they could not meet my expectations". What I expected was professional courtesy, timely responses, and truth. Apparently, they don't care about quality service or customer satisfaction. I took my business elsewhere and purchased a new car.

I gave Ottie Jones maybe 15 minutes notice that I was coming in to look at a specific 2017 Forester. By the time I arrived he'd already pulled its paperwork and had the car waiting out front, ready to test drive. The sales people at Annapolis Subaru were much better to work with than dealers at other stores in the area. They gave me a fair trade in value for my car, unlike Wilkins Subaru of Glen Burnie who wanted to give me half of Kelly Bluebook, and were quick and receptive to my requests. Unfortunately, the car I really wanted initially was at Wilkins and they were unwilling to make the trade, but despite this setback, Ottie Jones was able to move quickly and find me the perfect car right before I needed to drive back to college. Joe Tyler was also a pleasure to work with and was not the usual "wheeler-and-dealer" "snakes oil salesman" that one often thinks about when they think of auto-finance people. Joe was honest, straightforward, and did not pressure me into any options/planning that I was not interested in. Again, real pleasure to work with. I want to thank all the great sales people at this location and would highly recommend them for anyones future Subaru/car needs.

Great dealership! My husband was very particular in what he wanted, which limited our options, but our Sales Consultant, Sonja, had no issue matching us with the perfect car for him! She was very knowledgeable regarding the inventory both on the lot and soon-to-arriving. She didn't push us to buy something we didn't want, or something that was more expensive. She made the whole process very pleasant...despite the fact my husband and I lived over an hour away from the dealership! She communicated well outside of our on-site visit - not too much, not too little.Additiinally, the prices the dealership offered were fair, compared to the research we had done on the vehicle. Previous comments concerning Lyle are all embodied in my comments. Except that Kyle had to deal with me, an elderly woman, who has not bought a new car for 12 years! He is, as mentioned, mannerly, patient, knowledgeable and openly informative about the car's attributes. At signing, he also dealt comfortably with my two daughters and their questions on my behalf. This was the first car-buying episode at which I felt confident that no advantage was being taken of me (or my husband). For that, I praise Kyle and his genuine consideration of my choices. Then there was Joe Tyler, who kindly convinced me, because of the car's electronic gadgets, to purchase the insurance and warranty packages. Couldn't argue with his reasoning. I was warmly received at Annapolis Subaru by everyone encountered there and highly recommended all aspects of this experience.

Kyle Lindsay in particular embodied all the qualities I would hope for from a salesman: manners (gotta love etiquette), calm, friendliness, attentiveness, a wealth of information, and a clear confidence in the product he's selling a confidence, to hear Kyle say it, that extends to partaking in the product himself. I called Kyle multiple times with questions, and though he was likely extending his excellent service to another customer at the time, my calls were returned promptly, and my questions answered in full. 'Joe was a little more insistant than Kyle, but with good reasons, for which I'm grateful in the end.The dealership is clean, and is set up to be welcoming. My wife and I both felt very comfortable there. In the end, this is an establishment which, after only one experience with (so take it with a grain of salt OR be particularly impressed), I can presently say exudes excellence.

I've been to other dealerships and for the most part it's been a lengthy and exhausting experience. Oftentimes sales agents twists your arm to either upgrade to a higher trim or accept the price they have in front of you. But in Annapolis Subaru, it was a breeze the moment we stepped in. We were treated fairly, asked what we were looking for, and worked around OUR needs. Never was I pressured into getting a particular trim that I don't really need nor was I given an unfair appraisal for my old car to trade. If not for some banking loan issues I would have gotten the car the same day, but that was quickly sorted out the following day and drove away with my brand new '17 Forester Premium. If the dealership management keeps up this kind of culture in their dealership, I will get my next vehicle from this dealer. Best car buying experience ever!

Always a pleasure doing business with Subaru of Annapolis! We've bought two cars from them in the past year because we love how professional the staff are and how the sales associates do not try to sell you things you don't need/want. I went to a different car dealership first and felt like they were pushing me too hard to buy something I didn't really want. Also, the office is extremely clean and well kept, which tells me that they take pride in their work space. Sonja Anderson was our sales representative and I very much enjoyed working with her. Never pushy, and always trying to keep us comfortable (we were there with a baby), Sonja always made sure I had something to drink and even brought me a banana as a snack for a nursing mother! I was interested in the car, I told him what I would pay for it, he went and asked his manager, came back and accepted the offer. Relatively pain-free. I never felt intimidated, bullied, or overwhelmed by the salesman or the buying process.

In early June of 2016, my driver's side secondary air valve failed in my 2008 Subaru WRX STI. I contacted Annapolis Subaru over the phone for an estimate to make the repair. I was told with parts and labor, it would $950 to replace both valves. I researched the work required to replace the driver's side valve and the cost of an aftermarket part. The part only cost $150 vs $250-$300 for the genuine Subaru part. I ordered the valve and replaced it myself without issue. Four days later, the passenger side valve failed as well. I again called Annapolis Subaru for an estimate for the labor. I was told on the phone it would be $350. I then researched the work required to replace this valve and decided that the job would be too tough for me to perform. All instructions that I was able to find indicated the intake manifold had to be removed in order to get to the valve's bolts. The following morning I scheduled an appointment via Annapolis Subaru's online scheduling tool. Within 2 hours I received an email from the Service manager, Doug. The emailed stated that the job would cost $550 if I provided the valve. We exchanged emails because I was blown away that the cost went from $350 to $550 once they knew I would be supplying my own valve. During the course of the exchange Doug stated that the manifold had to be removed. I never questioned this, but he stated it anyways. Eventually, I agreed to pay $470 for the labor and shop parts because I was trying to sell the car in short order and this dealership was the most convenient for me, plus I had been using them for several years for maintenance. We also purchased my wife's car at the sister Annapolis Hyundai dealership a couple years ago. I dropped the car off June 15th, 2016 and picked it up in the afternoon of June 16th. I also had the dealership appraise the car prior to leaving.While driving home I noticed that the car wasn't performing the way it was the previous day when I dropped it off. The turbo was obviously not spooling as early (~3000 RPM) as I was accustomed to. Not only could I feel this in the acceleration, I could no longer hear the turbo spool. This was because by the time the turbo spooled, the engine was past 4000 RPM and loud enough to drown out the turbo whistle. The car at the time had the Cobb stage 1 tune installed. Using the access port, I first confirmed that the turbo was actually spooling the whole way to its intended target of ~18 PSI. I then reflashed the ECU with the stage 1 tune because I was unsure if the dealer altered the ECU mapping. The car continued to drive sluggishly at 3000 RPM. By this time, the dealership was closed.The following morning I contacted the dealership to let them know what I was experiencing. They told me to bring the car back in and they would have a look at it that afternoon. One of the technicians took the car out with the stage 1 tune still installed and his computer hooked up to the OBD port. He came back and showed me graphs that had the car reaching peak boost at approximately 3200 RPM and that the car drove great. In his words "I shouldn't worry about it". We then discussed that I was running a tune and how it could be the problem, never mind that I have been running the Cobb stage 1 tune for more than 6 years without a problem. We agreed that they couldn't accurately diagnose any issues with the after market tune installed and that I should go back to stock. Before leaving the dealership I reflashed to the "stock-like" tune saved on the access port. At this time, I was unaware that it was stock-like and not the actual stock tune. I spent time logging data with the access port in gears 2 through 4 doing hard pulls. The data was clear that peak boost was not being reached until, on average, 4000 RPM. I sent this data to the service department at the dealership and again stated the car was running differently/poorly. We agreed that I would bring the car back in the following day, Saturday, but it wouldn't be seen until Monday morning. Shortly there after, I received a phone call from Doug, the service manager and his first question to me was "What if the part you supplied is bad?". I calmly started to explain to him that the secondary air valves were part of the emissions system and that it had nothing to do with the engines performance. He cut me off before I could finish and said "I know what it does". Since he already knew the valve had nothing to do with the performance, he was, in my opinion, already feeling out potential scapegoats. He then started to prod the tune I was running, and then finally, when I mentioned that I couldn't hear the turbo, suggested that the turbo was shot. I informed him that it was stilled reaching max boost, just late. He abandoned this and just said to make sure its running its stock tune when I bring it back. I uninstalled the access port the following morning, returning the tune to actual stock, and dropped it off at the dealership.On Monday morning I received a phone call from Doug - in their opinion the car was fine. I asked questions about whether they checked all the connections. Doug stated they checked the intercooler, especially the connection underneath it. I then asked about the intake manifold connections to which he replied "We didn't take the intake manifold off, we have special tools. If you look on your bill there is no charge for seals". Note: the seals need to be replaced if the intake manifold is removed. I lost my cool and called him a liar and that I didn't believe him. He then responded that I should just then come pick up my car. This wasn't quite the end of the conversation but I told him I was going to continue to research the issue. He said that I should find data from Subaru tuners pertaining to when the car is to reach max boost. I asked him how he knew the car was performing correctly and he had no sources. The only information he supplied that was accurate was that the stock tune's max boost is ~15psi. After the phone call was over I confirmed with 2 separate, non-affiliated Subaru dealerships that the manifold had to be removed in order to perform the service.The following day I went to the dealership and asked to speak with a GM. I came with various pieces of information including the email that Doug stated the manifold had to come off and a stock power curve as produced by Perrin tuning company. I asked that they buy the car from me for the amount I had a buyer interested in. In good conscience, I couldn't sell the car to this individual at this price knowing that the dealer may have damaged or incorrectly installed something. He said he would have to discuss the information with his service manager before he could do anything.A day or two later I received a call from the dealership chains VP. He said they would buy the car from me for the trade in value I was being offered at a non-competing dealership. This offer was $2000 below what my potential buyer was interested in but $1500 more than their appraisal. At no point did he admit to wrong doing but became very agitated when I used the word "fraud" and "gross negligence" to describe what may have happened. After getting off of the phone, I emailed him and appealed to the VP to meet in the middle between their offer and my potential buyer and offer me $1000 more. Several days later (June 28), he declined to increase the offer because of what needed to be done to the car to resell it - none of which pertained to the engine. In my opinion, this demonstrated that they were only interested in turning a profit on the car and not righting a wrong. Note: the previous service I had performed they sheered off one of the bolts and left off 2 clips holding on the plastic engine bay protector underneath the car. I didn't notice until I changed the oil 3000+ miles later. During this time 2 bolts and 2 push pin clips were the only things holding on the giant potential sail/road hazard. They tapped out the bolt and replaced the clips at no charge but informed me that the tech who did the work had since been "let go".The core of the issue here is whether or not the dealer removed the intake manifold. If they did and lied to me, I have no way of knowing whether the seals were replaced as manufacturer dictates. I don't know what effects this could have for the engine down the road. If they didn't remove the intake, they charged me 3.5 hours of labor for a job they didn't perform. All of this is then wrapped around the fact the car does not run as I expect it to. Either gross negligence occurred, or fraud. I was a big proponent of using the dealership for service even though they are generally more expensive. I had an independent shop do $5000 worth of damage to an engine in my previous car. Now, my attitude will likely be re-adjusted, at least with the Annapolis chain of car dealerships.

My wife and I had talked of buying a Forester for more than a year. We met Sonja Anderson at a booth at the Walk for the Animals benefit for the Anne Arundel County ASPCA and made an appointment for a meeting at Subaru the next week. We weren't sure we would buy a car that day, but Sonja was very good at explaining the features of the Forester. After a test drive and about two hours of discussing various options and prices, we agreed to buy a specific car. Two days later we returned to pick up our new car. Sonja spent about three hours with us this time going over the many details of the driving features, warning lights, seat adjustments, audio components, etc. Our impression of Sonja as a sales person was that she didn't so much sell us the car as explain the car. We did not feel pressured (my wife would have been out the door at any feeling of pressure.) Joe Tyler also did a good job explaining the financing and the optional pricing. We felt we understood what we were purchasing. Sonja really projected sincerity and truthfulness and willingness to go the extra mile. She had a very thorough knowledge of the product which was so important in helping us make the decision to buy a Subaru.

I hadn't purchased a new car in 8 years and was apprehensive about the idea of dealing with a salesman. Upon my arrival I was immediately introduced to Kyle Lindsay. Kyle listened to what I was interested in and set me up with a test drive. I didn't have a lot of time that day and when I returned from my test drive I knew Kyle would be with another customer who had an appointment. At this point Billy Sadtler stepped in and spent some time with me looking for the car I was interested in and walking me through the finance process. Ottie was extremely helpful. Everything was taken care of before I even arrived at the dealership to pick up and sign and pay. He was totally on the ball, not too pushy, extremely informative and knowledgable on the product, and was an overall pleasure to work with! I will say this though- for all of OTTIE'S diligence in prepping everything for my arrival and ENSURING that I was taken care of (he not only picked me up from the airport, but he asked politely if I wanted to be quick in the dealership- which I did, so he asked for necessary documents ahead of time and had made appointments with all the ppl I needed to meet with beforehand so that theoretically I was going to be able to just walk in, sign and get outta there...), the business manager / finance manager was a complete disaster. I forget his name although the person below me who also bought a Crosstrek had it right, this manager dude was super pushy and wanted me to buy all this extra warranty stuff from him AFTER HE MADE ME WAIT for 2.5 hours. LUCKY FOR ME that Ottie was there to kick it with me. If not for OTTIE'S service and professionalism, I would have gotten up and left after waiting that long. Also- the car is GREAT. LOVE MY NEW SUBARU!!!Thank you Ottie!! Please pass this feedback along to your incompetent business/finance manager and let him know that he better step up his game if he wants to keep that job. We had been looking for a few weeks (both private and dealership sales), but no one came close to the fantastic experience and value that the Annapolis Subaru staff provided. In particular, Roy McHiggins (sales) was incredibly genuine and forthright. He seems to have a rare quality that many salespersons lack-- he understands that if you are there to purchase a car, high-pressure is the LAST thing one desires. His low-key approach, along with the quality of vehicles and exceptional pricing/value for money at Annapolis Subaru are a winning combination. I should also call out Joe from the finance department, as he was incredibly efficient, clear and concise with the financial aspect of the purchase. My experience with Joe was equally free from the typical excessive and unnecessary pressure from other dealerships. If you are shopping for a new or used vehicle, you should drop by and ask for Roy. I purchased a Subaru Outback from Annapolis Subaru in April. Roy McHiggins was my salesperson and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicles. His test drive included taking me to a lot in the back to show me the features, particularly of the Eyesight system, and allowing me to get comfortable before taking the car out onto the local roads which are very congested. No other sales rep took the time to do this, which really impressed me. I tested out two vehicles and ended up buying the Outback. I would recommend Annapolis Subaru and Roy to anyone.

Our 2013 CrossTrek was considerably damaged in Memphis, TN, while travelling across the country over the 2015 year-end holidays. We had to abandon the vehicle there for extensive repairs our insurance company insisted on in spite of the severe hit we took to the front end. After months of fruitless effort by the repair shops in Memphis, Wayne Eppard coordinated with Doug Wright to receive our damaged vehicle by truck transport, thoroughly assess what final repairs were needed and coordinate completion of the repairs with our insurance company. All was done in days what the other shops took over three months to try to do with no good results. We are forever grateful for not only competent and professional standards these individuals practice, but also, the care and consideration they had for the terrible personal situation we were in. The Subaru tag line-Love - is especially evident at Annapolis Subaru. After our horrific experience and terrible start to this year, we feel the love. When you buy a vehicle from Annapolis Subaru, you get more than a car, you get a caring family.

This is probably the easiest car-buying experience I have had, and there have been many. The information was complete and accurate, the sale people were very knowledgable and patient. There was really no pressure and I got a fair price without having to haggle too much. I had called the dealership early Thursday morning with the express aim of trading my old beater Toyota and buying a used Outback I had found on the internet days prior. Wayne confirmed it was still there and invited me for a test drive the next day. After the drive and thoroughly explaining the good condition of the car, motor, and all systems, allowing me to put a deposit on the car so i could leave and come back in the middle of moving, and being able to duplicate the missing title from my old Toyota, he and Joe got me financed at a reasonable price falling just about where I'd be comfortable paying. Switched out my plates, no problem, gassed me up and had me out right there in a brand new-to-me car. This was my first experience purchasing any car from a dealer, and it was a very straightforward and clear experience. These guys know their stuff and are a good hang, and seem to do what's best for their clientele.

The car was in very nice condition, clean and as advertised. Sonja our sales associate was so kind and helpful. Our finance guy was friendly and it was a nice experience. We have been to many dealerships prior, and cars were not as advertised, people tried to pressure us to other available cars etc. Annapolis Subaru was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend Annapolis Subaru. I sat in while my 89 year old father purchased a Crosstrek. Edward Rucker was his primary salesman. He was knowledgeable, kind, patient, thorough and continues to be unbelievably generous with his time. We did a lot of research on available options and pricing prior to our visit. My father received an outstanding purchase price. Ed spent a lot of time explaining and demonstrating the phenomenal technology in the car. He also offered and returned my fathers tags to the MVA to save my father the inconvenience. In addition, a few days after the purchase, he sat in on another road trip with my father to review additional technical features in the car. They went to the EZ Pass office to replace Dads EZ Pass. Ed is not only an outstanding ambassador for Subaru, he is a genuinely kind and caring person. We had never met him before but will certainly purchase our cars from him in the future.My familys experience with all of the employees that we met at Annapolis Subaru was extremely positive. The manager discussed prices with us, we interacted with Diane Zimmerman, the internet sales manager via email prior to going to Annapolis Subaru. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It is after all for sale. I visited several dealerships for used cars and I can tell you, that's not always the case. I went on a test drive with Kyle and knew I wanted the vehicle. They appraised my trade, I got what I wanted and they got what they wanted. I love the X3 and it was a pleasure doing business here. The business manager was quick and efficient. From the initial interaction with Ottie Jones to the moment I received the keys for my new Outback, the entire process at Annapolis Subaru far surpassed previous experiences and ordeals at other dealerships. Otties calm and pleasant disposition immediately alleviated most of my initial anxiety while test driving 3 different models (Forester, Crosstrek, and Outback). His patience is to be commended after I asked to test drive each of the 3 models a second time, and especially for my many questions during the entire process.During the test drives it was clear Ottie made mental notes of my comments and particular reasons for wanting to purchase a new vehicle. This aided greatly in deciding if a Subaru was right for me, and if so, which one would best fit my needs. It was refreshing to know someone was genuinely paying attention.The negotiations were low pressure, quick, and quite fair. The most difficult part of the entire process was waiting on the Outback to arrive! A small mix-up was noticed when the Outback did arrive and was immediately straightened out by the wonderful employees at Annapolis Subaru. Billy Sadtler did a terrific job with handling the financing and other paperwork, especially near closing time on a busy Saturday.I have no reservations in recommending Annapolis Subaru to anyone and will undoubtedly be returning in the future.

On January 27, 2016, I purchased my very first Subaru. I had the most amazing salesman, Wayne Eppard. I am a nursing student who was getting ready to graduate this May, and start my career as a nurse over the summer. I told him I needed a reliable car, that was safe. Wayne, found me a used 2008 Legacy, I loved it from day one. Wayne treated us like family from the moment that we started talking with him. He was professional, personable, knowledgeable and understanding. I had never had a car with leather seats, that were heated so I was very excited. I had a small list of things, to make sure the vehicle did, due to past vehicle short comings. Wayne was so patient, he wrote them all down and checked each on for me. That made me feel so good, he treated me with much respect. It was not quite 3 full days later, that on Saturday morning January 30, 2016, I had just gotten off from working my night shift at the local hospital. I was hit head on by another driver. I suffered multiple trauma injuries including broken leg, internal injuries to my abdomen, chest and shoulder. My new car was totaled. I was trapped in my car and had to be cut from the car. The rescue teams that arrived to the scene to free me from my vehicle, and by standers that were on scene all said "That car saved her life!"; "If she had been in another vehicle, she would not have survived"; "The roll cage saved her life". After 45 min, they were able to free me from the car. I was then rushed to the closest Trauma center. I spend 6 days in a trauma center, and face months of rehabilitation. The important part is that I LIVED to tell my story!. When Wayne called a few days later to see how I was enjoying my new car, he found out about my accident. He would call to check on me, and kept in touch with us, to monitor my recovery. All the the employee's from the Annapolis Subaru dealership, have been sending well wishes, to me; and have been checking up on my recovery. One month after the accident on February 29, 2016 I went back to Annapolis Subaru, and saw my friend Wayne and we purchased my second Subaru;This time a used 2008 Outback. Wayne was amazing, yet again, he said looked over the vehicle, and it was a good car, he even remembered my 'list' of things to check for me. I can not drive for another few months, but I know that when I can I will have a very safe vehicle, and I already love it very much. I can not say enough about Wayne, He is amazing, and I am proud that now only can I say "I have a guy, if your looking for a vehicle..." but I can say, "Wayne has become a friend." In the business of customer service, you have have certain qualities, to be successful, Wayne has all of them plus...He is exceptional, and deserves a customer service award. We finished our paperwork this time with Joe, he was super nice. We had a great time talking with him while we signed completed the paperwork. My first Subaru, we did our paperwork with Billy. He treated us with great respect, and was so kind as well. I also, can't say thank you enough to everyone at the dealership who has send me 'well wishes, for a speedy recovery'. Due to my injuries, I had to withdraw from nursing school, and will be able to return in the fall and graduate in December of this year. I made a promise to Wayne and the other's in a few years after I become a nurse and get settled in my career, I will be coming back for my 3rd Subaru and it will be brand new!Thank you Subaru for making a safe vehicle that saved my life, because 'I LIVED'. Thank you Wayne, and the Annapolis team for making my experience so wonderful!!

This was my very first car purchase on my own. My son has a Subaru for five years now, after many years of different manufacturers, and could not give a higher recommendation. I did my research and Subaru was the best - safe, well built, great traction, and maneuverability. So, I went to the dealership. What a great experience! I was so impressed. Very friendly, no pressure, and answered all questions, especially as my car was 19 years old, I had a lot of questions. I got a tour of the facility including parts and service departments. I really feel that not only did I get a great car that drives like a dream and is so beautiful, but I am now part of the Subaru family. If you are going to buy a Subaru I highly recommend Annapolis Subaru, specifically the salesman Erik Wangdahl. I ordered a 2016 Subaru Outback premium receiving it a week early, outfitted EXACTLY as I wanted it to be. Erik was very knowledgeable friendly and patent; no sales pressure. I called from 500 miles away on a Certified Pre-Owned Subaru Forester. The salesperson I worked with was Ed Rucker. I cannot say enough about his professionalism. Ed guided me through a process of making sure the car was available, holding it while we were in discussion and was great at following up on everything I had asked for. Not only was his service outstanding, the price on the car was the best I could find within a 500 mile search. Unfortunately, the car was a bit out of comfort zone for payments and down payment. My association with Annapolis Subaru began last summer when I ordered extra keys and arrived to pick them up with my dog Harry and no leash. A serviceman found an incredible line so Harry could walk around while we waited and I thought - "This must be a pretty good place!".Time to find a new Subaru and I had buyers' services and dealers and all kinds of help. Colin Murphy, from Annapolis Subaru took great care of me on a busy Saturday - we got the trade-in value and the paperwork completed. Colin printed out my figures and Annapolis Subaru met the best offers I had. This was the last time I saw Colin until I received an email "Your chariot has arrived!". I found my two previous Subarus on the net; this time with Colin's help, I ordered over the phone!The evening I picked up the car, Colin checked me out in it - sort of like pre-flight - to make sure I had the best of the ride in hand from the beginning. I should preface this review by fessing up: I hate car shopping. I have no appreciation for the art of the deal, and I loath salesmen who know less about their product than I do. My husband and I visited Annapolis Subaru on a Saturday. The dealership was packed with customers and all members of the staff were clearly busy, yet we were greeted immediately. Roy McHiggins greeted us mid-errand for another customer and paused to welcome us, find out the goal of our visit, and recommended several vehicles for us to peruse while we waited. Roy returned to us much faster than anticipated and gave my party of three his full attention. Roy was extremely knowledgable about the entire line of Subaru vehicles and responded easily and personably to each of our many questions. We test drove a Forester and an Outback. By the end of the test drives we were familiar with both vehicles, their features, capabilities, and the various trims and packages offered on each. I quickly chose an Outback that was not in stock. Roy found the car I wanted and had arranged to have it retrieved in less time than another dealership could find me a brochure on the car I was looking at. I won't bore you with the minutia of my purchase. Just know it was painless, and Roy took every step possible to exceed my expectations. We have rarely, if ever, been as satisfied with the service we received or as thrilled with the product we purchased. My Outback has all the wonderful bells and whistles (for much less than I would have paid for similar features elsewhere), and thanks to Roy I drive my car off the lot knowing how to use just about all of them.

My first contact was a phone conversation with Ottie Jones. I do not live in the immediate dealership area; however, based on talking with Ottie I decided to stop by... I came with lots of questions and a need for more information to decided on the car that could possibly be my next purchase. (I never owned a Subaru before, but have purchased many cars.) Ottie was so helpful, patient, and informative that my next to be purchase was becoming clearer. Although the dealership didn't have the exact model Outback I thought I wanted, Ottie provided another model to test drive. He did a comparison between that model and the one I was interested in. We walked the grounds so that I could actually see various car colors and possible interiors, etc. I think you get the message- Ottie did all he could to give me the information I needed. All of this was done in a very easy and comfortable manner. My decision to purchase took one more phone call and then awaiting the arrival of the car. On pick-up day Ottie gave me a good briefing on the car's features. He obviously knew the car well! The drive to Annapolis was worth it. Dealing with Joe Tyler and Billy Sadtler was also very helpful and positive. This purchase was totally a no pressure experience.

I went in on Wednesday evening and everyone was friendly. I stated me need to see what would work for me for fit. I am a big guy. I tried out some new some used and narrowed my search. Kyle was helpful and we drove around in a certified forester. It began to snow as we were out - a taste of the blizzard to come. Friday rolled around and I went back in and tried out the new forester. Again, everyone was extremely friendly. The blizzard was coming and I may have been the only one shopping for a car. Everyone else was preparing to prepare. I made a deposit on a new forester and then arranged for delivery on Monday after the snow. Well, Monday came and I was able to pick up my new ride! I'm glad so many had good experiences at Annapolis Subaru. We did buy, but I have to think that another dealer would have been more deserving. I was disappointed with the very low trade-in offer and the heavy handed pitch for an extended warranty and other extras. My trade in did have a lot of miles, but we were offered scrap value and several thousand less than blue book. i ended up taking the car to CarMax where they simply gave me more than double what Annapolis Subaru offered for the vehicle. The business manager's approach to selling the extras was to tell you how much it is going to cost you to maintain and fix the vehicle. This made me wonder why we would purchase such a unreliable and expensive car. He talked about bad paint and expensive parts that fail. He also demands that you sign a form right then that you are not taking him up on his offer. No thank you!

I have been shopping for a 2016 Forester for several weeks. I was looking for a particular color that I found on the Annapolis Subaru website. The vehicle was "In Transit" meaning that it was being delivered to the dealership. I contacted Erik and inquired when it would arrive. He said it had arrived, and I went to the dealership to see the car, and I liked what I saw. Erik followed up this morning with the answer to a question I had about key duplication.Erik had already provided the Annapolis Subaru "ePrice" for the Forester, and I found it to be very competitive with the average price that vehicle was being sold for. I took it for a test drive with Erik, and decided that it was the vehicle for me. Erik and I settled down at his desk and we went over some features, and he answered the few questions that I had. Afterwards, we did the credit check, and started the paperwork. After completing the paperwork, Erik introduced me to Billy Sadtler, the Finance Manager.We went to Billy's desk where Billy had the finance paperwork ready for me. He went through each document explaining what it was. We finished the financial paperwork, and he answered my questions. He was very thorough.I would definitely recommend Annapolis Subaru to anyone. Erik and Billy were very conscientious about everything. They both appear to know their stuff.Thank You Erik Wangdahl and Billy Sadtler !!!

So I'm 24 y.o. and somehow managed to hold on to my first and only car, a 2000 Toyota Celica, for 9 years until Ol Sally's engine finally gave way 7 months ago. I had spent the last 6 months researching newer vehicles in hopes of coming across a vehicle as or more reliable than my Celica had been since I bought her at 15 years old...Toyotas are VERY reliable vehicles and I hardly ever had that car in the shop for the entirety of my ownership; so I'll admit I was a little nervous to venture outside of the Toyota family but I'm sure glad I did. After reading a million reviews and searching AutoTrader daily, I decided to take a risk and just purchase a brand new car that would stick by my side for another 15 years or so...I discovered you could build your own model on Subaru's website and I fell in love with the 2016 Subaru Impreza. I was originally going to get the regular 2.0i and customize the amenities to make it my adventure car for less money but instead, I walked out of Annapolis Subaru with my 2016 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Sport Premium in less than 8 weeks of submitting the order to have it custom built. We had visited one other dealership to get an estimate in October (and I won't drop names or locations) but that place and its sales team were uneducated schemers and one big joke...my dad finally beat me to the chase and called Annapolis Subaru where Kyle Lindsay immediately stepped up to the plate and offered to guide us throughout the whole process with the best service possible; and he really meant it! Kyle was very knowledgeable about all Subaru models (and owns one himself) but was especially helpful in giving his personal advice about my particular model since he is into the cars more so than SUVs and definitely convinced me it was wiser to just spring for the Impreza Sport with all the amenities I was looking to add, and because the sport was definitely more fitting with my "must have manual transmission." He was able to immediately show us estimates for different amounts of cash down for both leasing and financing and do a soft pull for approval right then and there, unlike the first dealership who BS'd everything right down to "No we couldn't even get an estimate for ANYTHING until they pulled my credit and ACTUALLY HAD ME APPROVED for something I hadn't even ordered yet." Kyle and the whole Annapolis Subaru team were very laid back but so professional and knowledge about anything and everything asked of them. There was no pressure at all, he was truly there to just guide me into making the best decision for my future baby! The car was supposed to take anywhere from 8-12 weeks to come in...we got a very excited call from Kyle in LESS than 8 weeks saying it had arrived and I could come pick it up at my soonest convenience. He sent emails with little steps to complete just to make the process even smoother and to get me out the door faster...very mindful salesman. However, the thing I most admired about Kyle was that even though he had off work on the only day that I also had off work to come pick it up, he gladly offered to come in on his day off and see to it that he was the one still by my side in the process from start to finish...now that's what I call genuine dedication! Best part was that he brought his little puppy pal, Happy, along to seal the deal since she couldn't stay home alone :) of course we loved Kyle even more at that point since we have a pitbull and Happy happened to be half pitbull, half lab and looked just like our dog...and trust me I was definitely 'happy' myself after seeing my shiny, black-on-black sporty little hatchback parked out front and was soooo thankful Kyle convinced me to go for the Sport. Shout out to Joe for getting me approved so quickly and having hilarious stories to chat about with my rents as I completed my paperwork... they loved everything and everyone there just as much as I did! Even after I had the car home for a few days, Kyle was sure to send an email my way making sure I was 110% satisfied with my purchase and telling me not to hesitate to come to him with any future questions. So you will definitely be seeing me in there every couple of months for my servicing because I wouldn't go anywhere else! I LOVE MY NEW SUBARU! She's already named (Ahem, Suzy) and hands down is totally ready for my cross-country road trip to 25 of the top national park destinations this coming August...with my two kayaks on top of the fixed crossbar and added kayak attachment...not to mention $200 is now going toward supporting those National Parks from Subaru's "Share the Love" event!! :) The Impreza and AWD handles like a champ and is so fun to drive...she even sounds bad a** with every shift! <3 I can't wait for the years of adventures to come and even more loyalty and comfort from this Subaru than I had with my Toyota. This was a great dealership experience. The sales people here really love the product they sell, as every person I contacted at the dealership drove a Subaru. The sales staff really work hard to find you the vehicle that you want. I was in contact with a few dealers in the Baltimore/Washington region and Annapolis seemed to have the only sales staff that was willing to attempt to meet my needs. Even though Diane Zimmerman was with Internet Sales, she greeted us enthusiastically at the dealership as all other sales associates were busy with other customers. She answered our questions and arranged for us to test drive a Crosstrek. We needed a few days to mull over the big decision and upon our departure, she introduced us to salesman Kyle Lindsey. Kyle searched for the model and color we wanted and promptly alerted us a week later that one was available. The final deal was quick and working with Joe Tyler was great. He gave me the best choices on what I needed for an everyday dependable car and worked with me on the pricing. It was time to return my 2004 Outback and pick up a new one. I'm sure they would have liked to see me sooner but the car was just too good. Andre Gayle helped me put together the package of options and accessories I wanted. My one request of the Subaru company is to make the choice organization a bit easier. It's daunting to work through the maze of option packaging and not lose some choices or be forced to choose unnecessary ones. Andre was able to clarify all points and we designed the car I wanted. Delivery from the factory was as promised. Emails clarified all I needed for day of purchase. Andre's demonstration of all the car's features was easy to understand and not rushed. He made it clear that he would be available to answer any questions after I drove away. Joe Tyler finalized the the transaction and presented maintenance options in a clear manner without sales pressure. I hope to see them both in another 12 years.

After a lot of research, I knew exactly the vehicle I wanted and emailed several dealers near where I live to try to get the best price, as the car was at the top end of my budget already. Andre' Gayle responded promptly to my inquiry and offered a very competitive price for the vehicle I was interested in as compared to other dealers. After I told him I had other (slightly) lower offers and was trying to get the best price due to my budget, he simply asked what he had to do to earn my business. I told him my target price and he met it, simple as that. So I put down a deposit and factory ordered the car since it was not in stock anywhere in the area. Everything after that was incredibly easy and straightforward. My car was factory ordered and arrived earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The only small hiccup was that I did have to wait around for a couple hours at the dealership when I went to pick up the car. However, when Andre' called to let me know that my car had arrived, he did mention that they were busy that day. But of course wanting my car that day, I chose to go that day to pick it up rather than wait a few more days until I was off work again. All in all it was not really a big deal and I definitely can't blame them for having other customers. Overall, the entire process was smooth and easy with no surprises, and I highly recommend them and will absolutely consider for future purchases. Everyone that I dealt with at this dealership was extremely professional, competent, and friendly.

We are thrilled with our new Subaru Forester. Our experience with Ed Rucker was way beyond our expectations. He was very detailed in his explanations of every aspect of the car, and when we drove off the lot we knew more about this car than any other we ever owned. I want to start by saying that my process was a bit longer because I was negotiating the price with this dealer and a different one. I decided to go with Annapolis even thought is almost an hour away from where I live because of the good price of the car and service I got from Mr. Rucker. So far everything is going well, but it is too soon to say since I just bought the car two days ago. I hope that it stays this way and probably buy another car with this dealership in a future.

I had initially inquired about the car online and Diane Zimmerman got back to me right away and set up an appointment for me to come take a test drive that evening. Once I arrived at the dealership, I met Dianne and also salesman Kyle Lindsay. After the test drive and negotiations, I worked with Billy Sadtler to do all the paperwork. Everyone I dealt with at this dealership was super friendly. I feel like I got my car for a far price and they also gave me a fair price on my high mileage trade in. In all my car buying years, I've never had a more pleasant experience with a dealership. Not to mention the lightening fast process. After finding this Dealership had the car in stock I wanted a 3.6 Subaru Outback I was contacted immediately by Ottie. The whole experience couldn't have been more pleasant! He was very courteous and paid close attention to our desires in a new vehicle. Unfortunately the weather was bad and we drove an hour the night we went there and arrived close to closing but Ottie continued to assist us in our purchase and even after the purchase stayed late in the evening to go over the extensive features in the car. He was thorough and professional and I would recommend Ottie to everyone looking for a new car. This is my 5th Subaru and of the other dealerships I have worked with, this is by far the best in service and communication. I won't go anywhere in the future. We test-drove a 2014 Subaru Forester Touring and dealt with Wayne Eppard. Wayne was very low-pressure and professional. We took a few days to consider a few choices from several dealers and Wayne responded to all of our emails promptly. It took Wayne almost two weeks to find the Forester with the features I wanted. He was incredibly patient when, on two occasions, the car he thought he found for me had already sold just hours before. I have never seen a salesperson juggle three clients at the same time in such a professional manner. He made sure that our requests were met, questions answered and I never felt neglected. Was ready to order a car, but could never get paperwork, confirmation, returned phone calls, email responses. Bizarre. This, despite completing all the necessary steps. Waited a week and then figured they didn't need the money.Took my business to Wilkens Subaru in Glen Burnie and they took care of everything in 1 hour (credit application, assessed my trade, explained the car's packages and options, provided copies of everything, and even gave me my first Subaru owners' badge). ?? Finding the clique "no hassle" dealership is hard. I window shop for months, sometimes years, before purchasing our next vehicle. I looked up a highly ranked, nearby Subaru dealership to take the wife and go sit in new cars for at least 30 minutes each. Ed Rucker stood out on this website, so I cold called him. I explained that I simply wanted to sit inside a Forester, Outback, and Legacy back-to-back-to-back without test driving and a hovering salesman explaining how cup holders work. Why drive it if you can't stand sitting in it? We showed up 45 minutes later and Ed was ready with keys in hand. He started the other two cars with A/C on high while we looked at the first car. Then, he did something magical, something other sales staff rarely understand... he left us alone after a brief greeting. My wife and I exhaustively went through each car and simulated loading the baby seat in the back and stroller in the back. The wife determined what suited her best. Unfortunately, no in-stock Outbacks. Andre Gayle found the exact car we wanted a few days later, so down a deposit went to reserve the incoming car. The car showed up a week early and they called us. Ed noticed a very small discrepancy in the price quote (he was on vacation when I ordered and was given an out-the-door price), but the dealership did the honest thing by honoring their initial price they quoted me. We went to the dealership as it was closing with our own financing; Billy didn't pressure us at all aside from asking our loan rate. Ed literally closed the dealership so we could get the car before a road trip the following day.Thank you to Ed, Andre, and Billy.

I never thought I'd go to the Subaru dealership because I wasn't looking for a Subaru. Then I learned that Annapolis Subaru's pre-owned division carries many makes and models for very reasonable prices. Through their easily navigable website, including free CarFax reports, I got in touch with Wayne Eppard who answered my questions by e-mail. After visiting other dealerships I was wary and asked him how much they add to the internet price. When he told me nothing but a $299 processing fee, 6% sales tax and title, tags and registration, I decided to give Annapolis Subaru a try. When Kyle Lindsay took me for a test drive in my (spotless) top choice vehicle (and didn't try to make me like it), I wanted to know what it would cost me. Mike Stoughton, the manager, quickly worked up a quote. Sure enough, nothing but $299 for processing, 6% sales tax and title, tags and registration. Oh, and $200 off the internet price. It turned out I could actually afford the car. Kyle helped me with the initial paperwork. I looked around the showroom. It was clean and comfortable with a pristine ladies' room and a play place for kids. All the people working there were friendly and professional. When it came time to sign the paperwork, THE QUOTED PRICE HAD NOT CHANGED. No one made a move to tack on extra charges or sell me a warranty. Then Kyle iced the cake by bringing my car home for me with the help of Dwight from the service department. I went home with a car I love and no misgivings about having been pushed into a deal I was not comfortable with. I would recommend Annapolis Subaru to anyone who wants to buy a car.

I went there last week, hoping to look at the Impreza and Forester. I went at around 2pm when there were few other customers. I sat in both cars in the showroom, opening up all the doors, and then looked at the cars parked right out front. While there were a number of salesmen around, they were too busy talking to each other to come over to help me. After looking at two dozen cars and not getting any help I left. I left a similar message on the dealer website and they never replied.

I went to this dealership to test drive a couple different models and they were really great about it. Simply let me drive without any pushing to close. I explained I was just in the exploration phase and Nicole Mulcare was completely fine about it. Later that day, went to a Toyota dealer to do the same and have a negative experience . . . pushy and salesy. So pleasant, I decided to buy my new Subaru Forester in part because of my experience with Nicole. Billy Sadtler, the finance guy, was funny, low key, and really lovely to work with as well. If you are looking to buy a Subaru, go here! And, I don't think I'll ever buy a car from a guy again.

This is the third Subaru we've purchased from Annapolis Subaru over the past 10 years (two for ourselves and one for my mother-in-law). I always check with other dealers to see who will give me the best price, but Annapolis Subaru always wins out. This time we worked with Edward Rucker who gave us a great price on a 2015 Premium Forester. He let us take the Forester out on an extended test drive and then was very patient while we figured out what options we wanted. And then when we purchased the vehicle, he spent over two hours with us explaining all the features and showing us how to work the EyeSight system. He was great to work with as was the new hire, Kyle. We have also had our vehicles serviced with the dealer. Jason Janz has also been great to work with and though sometimes I think the prices are somewhat high, there is no pressure to get more work done on the vehicle. He just make recommendations and then let's us decide on what we'd like to have done.

Wayne legitimately cared about what I was saying, and is a no-nonsense type of guy. Wayne always answered my questions, and ensured that I knew everything about my purchase as soon as possible.Upon purchasing my vehicle, Wayne gave me a tour of the dealership, including the service and parts department, giving me instructions on how to bring my car in for service, etc. It truly felt like I was being included in a family, and the whole process felt natural, with no pressure whatsoever. I'm a former military interrogator with two deployments, so I don't like being tossed around. Take it from me, this dealership takes care of you, and wants you to enjoy your purchase and your experience. I also dealt with Billy Sadtler, who was also very straight forward and a great guy to talk with. The parts department was also very friendly and quick to field questions and service.I can't recommend this dealership enough. I made an online inquiry and promptly received a phone call from a very courteous and knowledgeable salesman, Erik Wangdahl. we made an appointment for the next day for which he sent a personalized e-mail confirmation. When I stopped by he was patient, prepared and professional, and we made further arrangements foe me to return with my wife the next day. on that occasion, we had my title and trade in with us and were able to drive our new car home that afternoon.I have since heard from both Erik following up on a couple of "We Owes" and from the dealership's general sales manager to make sure that I was treated fairly.

Given the number of cars I have had serviced over the years I guess I had formed an impression of what to expect when getting my car serviced. Annapolis Subaru has consistently been a very positive experience; more so than anywhere else I can remember.I like that I speak with the same service advisor (Jimmy Massie) at each appointment. If you work with the same person you grow to trust them. Jimmy takes the time to explain the problem if a repair is necessary, and gives you options for fixing it. In two and a half years I have had no trouble making appointments around my schedule. While I have been offered a loaner car, it has never been necessary. I generally use the shuttle which works well for me. (I don't think I've ever been "offered" a loaner anywhere else without having to line one up in advance.)At one point I was confused about setting up my remote garage door opener and ran back in for help. Jimmy was working with someone else and Doug Wright helped me. He took the time to look up the make of the garage door to see if was compatible with my car. He offered to walk me through it if I had any problems at home. I have mentioned that to other people because I was really impressed.There is another Subaru dealership closer to my home, but it is worth it to me to come to Annapolis.

I bought a 2014 Crosstrek at Annapolis Subaru. My sales experience was nothing special and nothing horrible until they presented my new car to me. There were bits of sticky paper and lint all over the dashboard and the windshield was smudgy. Salesman saw me trying to brush off the dashboard but just walked away because one of his friends was standing there waiting for him. When I was invited by Subaru to rate my sales experience I gave average ratings. A few days later the salesman actually called me on the phone and reamed me out for giving a bad review.

I had been shopping for a used car for almost a year. I went to Annapolis Subaru to see if they had any used hatchbacks. I didn't realize that they were closing when I walked in, but the dealer still helped me and showed me a few cars. I went back the next day to test drive a few I saw, and immediately fell in love with the little Mini Cooper S. Now because I had been car shopping for about a year, I was tired and frustrated and ready for the whole process to be over. But the gentlemen who helped me, Andre, was extremely helpful and quick with the whole process. This was by far the most relaxing, stress-free dealership I have ever been too. I highly recommend that anyone looking for either a Subaru or any used car try this place out!P.S. I also got a GREAT deal in the car!

We bought a used 2012 Prius V from Bob and could not have been more pleased with the sales process. Bob was available late into the evening to answer our questions and was able to answer all our questions about the Prius despite it being a Subaru dealer. He was knowledgeable, personable, and available to help us seal the deal without being overly aggressive about the sale. Bob was up front with us about the car and its history (not that there was anything to conceal). This was a great contrast as opposed to other area dealerships where we had negative sales experiences. Bob was a breath of fresh air! In addition, Billy was able to beat our bank's car loan rate. Billy said that customers expect a better class of service in Annapolis, and that certainly holds true for our experience with Bob and Billy at Annapolis Subaru. If we're ever in the market for a Subaru, we know where we're going!

I was in the market for a new car and was leaning towards another make and model but my daughter convinced me to at least take a look at a Subaru as she has had two of them and they have been good, reliable cars. I stopped in Annapolis Subaru and was greeted and helped by Andre Gayle. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful yet I did not get a hard sell or pressure as I had gotten from other dealers/salespeople. I was impressed with the style and accessories of the 2015 Outback, they had one in stock that had everything in it I wanted. The price quoted was fair and I left a deposit on the car and left so I could "think about it" I asked them to email me a link to the finance application so I could see what sort of rates they offered and I filled it out on line. They came back with a GREAT rate, I called the next morning and said I would take it, to get it ready and I'd be in at 1:00 but my time was limited and I needed to do everything quickly. When I arrived, Andre had everything ready for me, the paperwork, the car, the manuals, everything. I was in and out of there faster than I had hoped and drove my new car home. Although I have had the car only a few days, so far I am really enjoying it and hope to for years to come. Andre has followed up immediately with a very nice thank you letter and responded immediately when I emailed him asking for the vin so I could finalize my insurance. All in all, after purchasing more than 8 new cars over the years, this has been the easiest, most pleasant purchase I have made. I was concerned when my five month old car had to spend a total of five weeks at the dealership but Doug went above and beyond to make the experience as painless as possible. Several Check Engine Light episodes, numerous parts, the tireless efforts of the techs at Annapolis, along with regional and SOA involvement, finally found the problem and resolved it. Meanwhile Doug kept me informed, provided a loaner, repainted a scratch on a fender, and even had SOA send me a check for one month's car payment (Doug's idea!!!). Not a penny out of my pocket...it wasn't how I expected my first Subie experience to be but it confirmed, for me, that we had made a good choice with the brand and, more importantly, with the dealer. This is our first Subaru but it will not be our last!

I love the fact he make the process as easy as possible for me as the salesman. He do not pressure me into buying if it was not the one you wanted. Then he would find the one you wanted and I admire that about him. Each time I trade my Outback in for a newer version I upgraded. Outbacks is the car for me and if I decided to purchase another vehicle I will be going back to Ed Rucker even though it's a dealer closer to house. I was not able to buy it from Annapolis as they did not have my interior preference in stock and I was in a hurry, but I still wanted to highlight that Andy Kohn provided the best pricing in the area. I had contact with over a dozen dealers through the Internet and Andy's pricing was amazing. I did go to the Annapolis dealership in person and he was also a very nice and straightforward guy. I highly recommend a trip to Annapolis for your next Subaru purchase! From my experience I would also like to point out that there is no reason to use a pricing service like USAA. The pricing received through the pricing service was not any better than the prices emailed to me from dealers.

I wanted to downgrade to a smaller car/SUV but wanted all-wheel drive (AWD) and my search led me to Subaru. I had never really considered myself to be a "Subaru" person but I wanted to keep the price below $25K so my car payments would be more manageable. I walked into the dealership on a whim one fine Monday and was warmly greeted by Erica. I had no timeline for the purchase of the car so I really just wanted to test drive to see if the car was even worth considering. The car handles pretty well and Erica and I had a nice chat while she detailed some of the safety features and accessories I could get for the car if I decided to buy. She even went over some of the pros and cons for buying vs. leasing which was really helpful. I told her I needed some time to think things over and would let her know in about 48hours.I went back to the dealership a week later and during this time, Erica and I were corresponding via e-mail. She wasn't pushy as car salespeople tend to be and took the time to answer my numerous questions (i.e. What the heck are paddle shifters?) Anyway, I picked up the car about two weeks after my initial visit and the process (financing, warranties etc.), though a bit tiresome went relatively quickly. Added bonus: Erica gave me a lift to the dealership in her brand new Subaru! Don't you feel a little more confident when the dealer also drives the car he is trying to sell you? I am from northern new jersey. I did an extensive search in my area for a loaner that would go for a few bucks less. Technically new, but very slightly used...a graduation present for my son. I had a budget. I have a close friend who resides in Annapolis several days a week for work. He and his collegues have had many good experiences with the men and women at Annapolis Subaru. On his advice, I called last week, found the car I needed and got the best price I have seen anywhere. Anywhere. I left Montclair this morning at 4 am, arrived st 7:30 had breakfast at the double T diner down the street. I met Ed Rucker at 9:00 am. The deal was done in two hours; I made it home by 3:00 that afternoon. They also quoted me a ball park quote on my trade that was several thousands more than I was quoted here in New Jersey. It was the easiest most non traumatizing experience I have ever had at a dealership. Ever. I am pooped, I had a long day today. They were exceptional. I will share this with anyone who cares to listen. I would buy from them again and recomend them highly. Thanks for listening, ed.

I've had really good experiences so far with Annapolis Subaru, and with the service department. However, it is very difficult to understand why the service department (which face to me is "Jimmy") fails to consider the customer's time a priority. If they want a car picked up when it's ready and they know that the customer has to come a long way in a lot of traffic, why can't they commit (and scheduled their technicians) to a fixed time. If you know on Thursday that all is left is a drive to test something on Friday, then why is that test drive not yet done at 3:30 p.m.? It's a rant, I know, but this is really not excusable.

I initially visited Annapolis Subaru to look at and test drive the 2014 Subaru Outbacks. I had done some research on a few different vehicles and came to the conclusion that I wanted a Subaru Outback. I had owned my previous car for 10 years though, so I really had no clue what I was looking for in terms of the different features and models of the Outback. Erica and Billy were so helpful in guiding me in the right direction. I told them up front that I didn't want to pay extra for any features that were unnecessary, only features I would actually benefit from. They were very upfront and honest about everything. They were easy to talk to and understood my budgetary concerns. At no point did I ever feel like they were being too "salesy" with me. Through the entire process I felt as though they were tailoring the cars they showed me to everything I needed and wanted in a vehicle. In the end, I was very very happy with my purchase. I would recommend anyone looking for a new car to stop in to Annapolis Subaru.

I don't even shop his deals as they are always fair,honest deals with no B.S. I have always worked my deals over the phone with him without a single problem. I first began my new car search on Oct 30 at Annapolis Subaru. I was met first by Alan Soon in the salesroom. Right away my car was appraised and I was given a price for the new car I was interested in. I was told that this offer would be good until Oct 31. Because I like to research everything, I visited other dealers in the area. I did not receive the same courteous, professional treatment that I received initially from Alan at the other dealers. Also, the appraisals for my car were thousands of dollars less than at Annapolis Subaru. I returned to Annapolis Subaru the next day to purchase a new car. Annapolis Subaru is 2-for-2 with me. I just bought my second car from them, and both times were the best experiences I've ever had buying a car. You'll appreciate the low-pressure environment. You'll get a great deal right off the bat, and not have to worry about any of the back-and-forth nonsense I've dealt with at other places. I got the exact car I wanted, the exact color, the exact options. I got the price I wanted on the car and the deal I needed on my trade-in to make everything happen. Financing was quick and easy, and Annapolis Subaru found me a better interest than even my own credit union was able to offer. I elected to have the optional Xzilon coating applied, and the service department handled that perfectly, and was able to provide me a loaner car for the day. Erica Biser was my sales rep, and she was great. I got quick responses to my emails and voice mails. She knew the answers to all of my questions and was very pleasant to deal with through the entire process. Sales Manager, Chris, came out when they were delivering my car to say "hi", thank me for my business. It's nice to actually see the "person behind the curtain" and have them come out and thank you. Top to bottom, it's apparent that the folks at Annapolis Subaru care about their customers. I would recommend Annapolis Subaru to anyone in the market for a car, Subaru or otherwise. Worst car experience of my entire life. Annapolis Subaru is what give used car dealers such a bad reputation. Over $10,000 in the last year in repairs,when I called I was avoided and lied to. How can a dealership sell a 'Subaru Certified Inspected' car and not notice that the person who had the car before me put a self starter on it??? I promise you, the wiring job was done so poorly-the only way to miss it would be to simply to not have looked under the hood. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

Why I gave the ratings I gave:Every aspect of my purchase was easy and pleasant, and I mean EVERY aspect of it. I got the deal I wanted on both the car I was buying and my trade-in. My sales rep Erica was able to find the exact car I wanted order, intercept it and re-direct it to have my exact additional options installed, and turned a ten to twelve build wait into a four-week wait. Needless to say, I was extremely happy with how they made this happen for me. Financing was lightning-fast, and they were able to best my credit union's lowest rate, saving me even more money.The environment at Annapolis Subaru is low-pressure. All of the help you want/need is right there, but you won't have sales people stalking you on the lot or in the showroom. I elected to have Xzilon applied to protect the car's finish, and found the service department to be equally as proficient and professional. They gave me a loaner car for the day, too.I'm a repeat customer at Annapolis Subaru, and the above reasons are precisely why. Ask for Erica Biser, she's great... very responsive to emails and phone calls; but, I'm confident you'll be treated very well there, no matter who you deal with. Please understand that I am not affiliated with this dealership or any of the staff in any way.On August 19th I took ownership of My GBS BRZ Limited from Annapolis Subaru. I had an amazing time in the process. The salespeople at this dealership knew all of the details on this car, enough to impress me and my gear-headed brain. A couple peeps on their staff have highly modded cars of their own and clearly appreciate the potential of the BRZ.There were a few difficulties starting out. The car I originally wanted was the Galaxy Blue Silica, but there were none available so I ordered the black one. The black was scheduled to arrive at the Port of Baltimore about 1 week from my order date but was delayed. This caused a little confusion and stress. I know of so many people that have had horrible experiences with dealers and their lying and bait and switch. I was very afraid that this was the case with my car.I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this was not the case with Annapolis Subaru and their staff! They kept us routinely informed about the location and progress of my car. They typically spoke to us at least 2-3 times a day with a status and location, or simply to calm our fears. During this confusion the dealer went above and beyond the norm and shopped around for other cars. They discovered that there was a Galaxy Blue Silica available at another dealer in VA and notified me! We arranged for a dealer transfer and I got my original preference! They didn't have to do this, they could have just waited until the black arrived, which it did the day after the Blue was located. By the time the whole process was complete the dealer wound up with two extra Black BRZ's on their lot because they were trying to accommodate my needs. They took me and my concerns seriously and I am able to clearly state that this dealer was AMAZING. At the delivery, I was introduced to all of the staff, walked around the garage and introduced to the mechanics and parts managers that will be responsible for the maintenance on my car. I was very surprised to find out that the dealership has a Speed Shop on site with a rep who is very knowledgeable about Subaru specific performance Mods.We then went upstairs to the salespersons area where he spent over an hour going over in explicit detail the features of my car. We went over the maintenance agreement and then went outside to my car where he set up my blue tooth and radio, and showed me how to make any adjustments to the settings. Overall he spent about 2-3 hours with me!Again I am not in anyway affiliated with Annapolis Subaru but My spouse and I always try to promote any businesses that we feel go above and beyond what is expected. If anyone in the Baltimore Annapolis area ever needs an HVAC system or Privacy fence we also can highly recommend businesses that excel in those items as well :)

After researching online and walking car lots when dealerships were closed, we settled on test driving the Forrester and the Outback. We called and made an appointment with Ed Rucker. This turned out to be a good decision as he was extremely busy. Ed was knowledgeable in the fact that the Forrester and the Outback ride and handle differently, and in that regard had us test drive the Forrester first. He demonstrated each car and its capabilities in a nearby parking lot and then sent us out to drive on our own. Ed answered all our question thoroughly. We made a second visit to look at interiors and options. We checked with USAA buying service as to price and though not a USAA online dealer , he matched the price. Our only disppointment was the trade-in. While our 1999 Issuzu Rodeo ran great for us , lower mileage, and had a new transmission, it did need AC work and new tires. All things considered, it was a very good experience at Annapolis Suburu and we are very happy with our decision. Before we left the lot with oour new Outback he went over all the bells and whistles and arranged for me to come in to have Bluetooth connected.

Even though I purchased a used BMW from them and it wasn't their expertise, they did everything in their power to find the information I needed to make and informed purchase.Ed- was very nice and helpful. It is a great place to buy a great car like a Subaru. I have bought two cars there and it has been both times a very pleasant and efficient transaction. The sales and service staff are very professional. I particularly recommend Colin Murphy as a sales representative.

Overall experience was more than satisfactory, in fact, quite pleasant. However, Joe Tyler could have given a slower and more thorough explanation of cost details. We are not all accountants. Colin Murphy was very generous with his time in allowing testing of different Subaru models. Once the vehicle was selected he was very patient and thorough in explaining and demonstrating the complexities of a modern auto. He made himself available by phone and e-mail to answer any questions. Also, special thanx to him for his effort in obtaining the color desired. Actually, not getting a desirable color could have been a deal-breaker.

After weeks of internet research for vehicle to tow behind our motor home we narrowed the search to Subaru and several other makes. Internet contact with Subaru dealers triggered many responses. Paul's was one of the few that honored my request for e-mail contact only until I was ready to talk. Searched dealer's web site and located model that met our needs. Called Paul with questions on being able to be towed flat. He did research and assured us that Forester 2.5i could be flat towed. He introduced me to Doug Wright and together, with several other shop people, we checked out the Forester to see if the steering wheel locked without the key. Doug even called another RV owner/customer to get info on flat towing. Based on my dealings up to that point I felt comfortable to deal with this dealership. The buying process with Paul was a delight ... even drove the car home to get my wife and son (who now intends to buy a Subaru). Very patient, answered all my questions. Financing was hassle free. Billy did shop around for the best rates (5 hits from my credit monitoring service) and got us 1.74%, beating our NASAFCU 1.99% rate. Price was right, matching similar model at Glen Burnie dealership with internet price lower than Paul's initial offer. Overall my only regret is that Annapolis Subaru won't be my full-time dealership since we live the winter months in Florida. I just bought a Crosstrek from Ed that was previously owned. The service team has gone out of their way to make sure the car is perfect. Great buying experience. I negotiated the purchase of a new Outback for my mother. My mother lives in another state and the staff at Annapolis Subaru was able to complete everything she needed to purchase a car based on her state requirements. When we arrived at the dealership everyone was friendly and they had taken care of most of the paperwork. There were no surprises. Everything was just as I had discussed over the phone with my salesman Ed Rucker. Being that it was my mother's birthday that day, the entire staff made her feel special. The amount of care and detail they put into explaining everything in the car and the manuals made her feel confident with her purchase. She stated this was the best car buying experience she has ever had.

Purchased a used vehicle to find out the following problems after getting it home. Three of the 4 speakers were blown and did not work. The cruise control was not functioning because of a bad break switch. The breaks squeak every time they applied because of quality of break pad used. The driver side floor gets saturated with water after it rains. The vehicle was not detailed at time of delivery. Chocolate candy was smashed into the upholstery and trash was found under the seat. We purchased two exact vehicles that weekend for our kids. Same year and model. The second purchase was in immaculate condition at time of delivery and one of the speakers was defective and the dealer took care of the problem immediately. I will not recommend this dealer to anyone that I know.

After 11 years with my Honda Civic, it was time for a new car. I have been researching the Forester for over a year and because of Subaru's dependability, known to last and they are very safe for our Golden Retriever, I knew it was the right car for me and my husband. I do not buy a new car very often so I was very nervous with the whole car buying experience. Somehow I was fortunate enough to go to the Annapolis Subaru. I felt very much at ease and felt welcomed into this dealership. Colin Murphy especially helped me to be comfortable. He listened to me and helped to guide me to the right car for me. He helped me every step of the way, from the first day I walked in, to the day our Golden came in to see the cars and to the day I brought my Forester home. I feel very grateful for meeting Colin and this Subaru family. I just hope he and this crew are here when it's time to do this process all over again.

I was in the market for a new vehicle, and two Subarus was near the top of my list. I stopped in to Annapolis Subaru and was greeted by Bob. I told him what kind of vehicle I was after and that two Subarus were near the top of the list. He clarified the differences between the vehicles and he recommended one of them over the other. I agreed and he said that he had those in stock. He first showed me a vehicle that had the trim level I was after and demonstrated all of the features of the vehicle. He then showed me the available model I was looking for and allowed me to go on a test drive. After the test drive, he asked me how it was. I shared my concerns with him, and he suggested the other model he had in stock, which would address all of my concerns. He then allowed me to take that for a test drive. After that test drive, he asked for the sale.If I was happier with the vehicles from Subaru, I would have purchased a vehicle from Bob.

I was in the market for a new vehicle, and had two Subarus near the top of the list. Our sales person Bob introduced himself and asked what we were after. I told him the kind of vehicle I wanted and what I would use the vehicle for, and I told him that there were two Subarus on my list. He clarified the difference between the vehicles and he made recommendations about the vehicle I should be looking for. He demonstrated the advanced features of the Subaru and then turned us loose for a test drive. While we didn't purchase a vehicle from here, it was more to do with finding a better vehicle than with the sales staff.

This was my first experience in purchasing a vehicle through a dealership, and like most, you have your apprehensions about the experience. Annapolis Subaru completely blew my expectations out of the water and I couldn't have been happier with the service provided.To start with, Dani Owenby, was absolutely fantastic - friendly, eager, honest... The kind of no-nonsense employee you would hope to interact with. With my living out-of-state she kept me well-informed and up-to-date on the particular vehicle I had been searching for. With the prompt emails and supporting pictures, I felt confident in the purchasing process so that the minute I was finally able to make the trip to Annapolis, I already knew exactly the condition of the vehicle and was ready to drive it home that day.Joe Tyler is a blast to work with as well! After months of shopping I found a Nissan Cube while browsing online. I am a first time car buyer so I was nervous. The staff at Annapolis Subaru surpassed my expectations in customer care. Everyone I met was extremely helpful and friendly. I test drove the vehicle and was able to take it to my personal mechanic as well. Tony was so welcoming, Dani was so helpful and informative. This was an extremely relaxing experience and Joe was able to beat my banks Pre-Approved rate by over 1%!!!!!!

I was looking for a used car that was in good mechanical condition and accident free. That is tough to find these days. After weeks of searching with no success, I came across a used WRX at Annapolis Subaru. This car had no body filler, and the mechanical repairs that were performed was pointed out to me. I loved that! Also, I was given a tour of the facility, introduced to the staff, and was not b.s.'d by sales. Thanks Ed, for the straight-forward buying experience!! The QuoteThis was my first purchase of a Subaru--and the staff at Annapolis Subaru was the friendliest and most straight-forward with the pricing and details than others I contacted. Once I selected the make/model I was going to purchase, I went to 6 dealers in East/Central Maryland, met with the sales staff personally, requested an out the door quote for a factory ordered car with the options I wanted, and informed them that I was shopping around and would purchase from the dealer who gave me the best deal. Some gave outrages mark-ups (up to $4000 more than others--for the same exact car), others would give me a low verbal number, but would REFUSE to give me anything in writing. Although Annapolis Subaru was not the lowest initial quote, they became the lowest after calling the dealerships I visited and asked if they would beat the best quote. So they won my business.The OrderAfterwards I came back, met with Frank again and placed an order on the car. He explained the expected timeframe for delivery, the required paperwork for the purchase, and answered any questions I had about the process. After the order, I kept in communication with Frank via email and asked any follow-up questions I thought up afterwards. He typically got back to me by the next business day with an answer.Purchase and DeliveryThe day of purchase came, Frank gave me a quick tour of their facility, introduced me to their service manager, introduced me to their parts dept (I had emailed him that I wanted to buy all weather mats when I bought the car) and then he walked me though the financing options, the owners manual, informed me of important details of the AWD system and fuel type needed, and even helped me install the all weather mats. Their financing manager was equally friendly and helpful when discussing the details of the financing and all my questions were given straight answers (no sense of them trying to hide something). I must say this last part: not once did he ask me what my ideal monthly payment was--this is a common ploy used by car dealerships to maximize their profit while keeping the customer comfortable.Bottom LineI found my purchase a most pleasant and non-adversarial experience. In 2-3 years, I will be in the market to buy another vehicle for my wife, and if we choose Subaru, I intend to shop around as I did with this car, but Annapolis Subaru will be the first I check, as opposed to the last, as it was this time.

The service provided is superb! This is the BEST dealership with which I have ever dealt. Their service and repair has always been exceptional. The work that is done is always done on time, and they have always done only work that was necessary. The staff is professional and courteous. They make servicing the car as convenient as possible. In addition, this is my third Subaru over 20 years. My second Subaru saved my life. I was in a head-on collision with the driver of the other car going over 60 miles per hour. The dashboard of my Subaru never moved!. I walked away from that accident. I went into the dealership with photos of the destroyed Subaru and said "I want another one of these!". The Subaru is a safe, easy to drive, comfortable, and very stable car. I don't think I would ever go to another car or another dealership! Thank you Subaru, and thank you Subaru of Annapolis!

I have purchsed many cars over my 50 years of driving and this was the most pleasant one of all. John Westcott greeted us at the door and proceeded to find out what we were interested in. We narrowed down our choice to the Forester and 4 hours later, were owners of a 2012 Forester Touring 2.5X. John, even before we were convinced that we wanted to buy a Subaru, took us on a tour of the facility, offered us coffee and introduced us to some of the staff. He is a great sales person in that he was very low key but always on point and, as it turned out, leading us toward our purchase. They had to put a hitch on the car so we went back the next day to pick it up and John spent another 1 1/2 hours showing us the car's features and doing the paper work. I have not used the service department but we have friends who are convinced that it the best dealer shop with which they have ever dealt. I hope that we have the same experience.

From the first call I placed with Annapolis Subaru with Mr. Edward Rucker I felt their customer support was very extensive. He answered all the questions I had and was very willing to help me in any way possible. Upon the visit to Annapolis Subaru I felt very well taken care of, Mr. Rucker offered any and all amenities he could including letting me use the office phone and internet to obtain information needed for my trades. Mr. Tyler was very helpful with the loan portion of the process and I never once felt "pushed" or pressured to do something I wasn't interested in. Once all the "t's were crossed and i's were dotted" Mr. Rucker then proceeded to go through all the features, functions, break in period and upcoming maintenance of the vehicle so to help me feel as comfortable in the car as possible, he even aided me in the setup of my blue tooth hands free feature! This is the 3rd new car I have purchased in my life and the FIRST time anyone has ever done anything like that! It was wonderful! The only complaint I would register was the length we were at the dealership, although it could be due to the somewhat complicated nature of my trades (many other people arrived and left before we did). Even though it was a long day spent there i'm glad it took so long, I felt very comfortable with everything that was happening! I am highly satisfied with the experience I had at Annapolis Subaru, The Service Mr. Rucker and Mr. Tyler provided to me and my new Subaru!!!!!!!!

My experience with delearship was very smooth and seamless. I purchased a preowned vehicle. The professionalism of the staff was impecable. They greeted me very courteously and made me feel welcome immediately. There was no preasure to purchase. They answered all my questions and met all my needs. I purchase a vehicle (BMW, Mercedes, Infiniti, Lexus and etc...)approximately every two years and this was one of the best experiences ever. I would definitely recommend this delearship to anyone.

Toni and Dameon were very helpful in the purchase of my '06 Outback, my first real car purchase. I communicated with them via email and it never took more than 5 min to receive a reply to any question that I asked. The car was detailed before I arrived to look at it and during the test drive, when a radio display wasn't working, they switched it out for me while I filled out paperwork. After looking at used cars from Maryland to Ohio, they made it worth the drive down by giving a good price and were willing to make it work on my student budget. It was also nice that they were able to track down and expedite my title paperwork so that I could register the car in Ohio when I traveled there for an event. The only negative of the experience was that because it was the last day of the month and a Saturday (busy), there was a long wait between when I handed over the check until I signed the final papers and left the dealership. Overall, I would definitely recommend this dealership because I have an awesome car and Toni and Dameon are great.

I dealt primarily with the internet director and was very satisfied with the enthusiasm, friendliness and communication skills. I enjoyed doing the entire process via email rather than on the phone and very likely to purchase another vehicle in the future through him. In my first adventure in buying a pre-owned Lexus from a Subaru dealership I felt that I received BETTER service than I did at the certified Lexus dealerships I previously visited, and that says alot about this dealer. Very happy to cooperate and accomodate the busy buyer without being overly pushy and high pressure sales, makes for a happy buyer!

After checking out multiple dealerships and their respective inventories online, I found a couple dealers who had a slightly better price below invoice due to their participation in a car-buying service I was using (USAA). Nevertheless, I visited Annapolis Subaru, and they had a vehicle that was almost exactly what I wanted. Ed Rucker, the agent, greeted me (we had communicated through email and phone prior to me coming to the dealership. He was very sincere and helped get the price down to be competitive with the other dealerships who were much farther away. The paperwork throughout the process ran smoothly. On top of everything, Ed even delivered my vehicle to me because I couldn't take it off the lot that day. Overall, it was a great car-buying experience.

I bought a 08' Subaru for my son on March 30,2011. My son is 33 years old,married and quite established. First of all, I paid cash for this car and the process to close on this took about 3 hours waiting. Detail Dept took the car and was supposedly washing it. By the time, we left the dealers, it was almost dark and dark by the time we came home. My son works from home and does very little driving. He noticed the damage to the driver's side panel on Thursday 4/7. When he came over to visit us on 4/11, I noticed the damage to the car when we walked him out and he got into the car. I contacted Ben Pettis right away and sent him pictures. He stated it looked like a dog did this. I told him we don't own dogs. I informed him I did not want this patched up, as long term this would never hold up and wanted a new panel, as this was done by his detail dept. He then wrote me back and stated it was a seat belt that had gotten caught and they would not fix it. By then, I knew it was his detail dept that did this, because we could not perceive how this happened. Ben has refused to take care of this. This is the responsibility of Subaru to make this right. This damage was not there when we purchased the car. My Husband, My Son and I went over the car. If the damage was there, this would have been addressed then and there and we would not have bought the car without the panel being replaced. This is YOUR responsibility. And we believe this should be taken care of by the dealership. You need to stand behind what you sell and take responsibility for the workers you have hired. Sandra Lerch 703-623-9080

Excellent buying experience. We bought a new 2009 Subaru Forester X Premium/All-Weather from Annapolis Subaru and were very happy with the experience. I solicited prices from ten dealers in and around Washington,DC, and got seven quotes. The quote I got from Annapolis Subaru was better than the quotes from dealers closer to my home in Montgomery County. They honored their quote, gave us a fair price on our trade-in, (which I also had taken for an appraisal at another dealer), and did all the paperwork in about an hour. Ed Mosser, our sales person, and Chris Kelley, the sales manager, were friendly, courteous and made us feel that they wanted our business.

The dealership was more concerned about selling a car they had on the lot rather than the car we wanted and refused to get the right car from another dealership. The dealership told us that the another dealership only deliverd "damaged cars".Ended up going to another dealership outside of Annapolis who sold us the right car at a great price, without any hassel.
