My experience with Jim Benham at Antioch Toyota was nothing short of exceptional. The process was simple, clear and comfortable. Jim took his time with me and made me feel good about my choices. Jim provided by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I am very happy that I worked with Jim and the Antioch team. Way to go Jim... a true professional.

Jim was the perfect salesman. I knew what I wanted and what I did not want. He understood immediately and answered all of my questions. He found exactly want I was looking for and didnt try to sell me any unsolicited plans or packages. It was very quick, painless, STRESS FREE and by far the most enjoyable car purchase I have ever made!

We leased a vehicle on August 6th and made 4 calls in the course of 2 1/2 months (every 3 weeks) to the financial lender to get our account number so we can make a payment. Every single time, it was the same answer. "We don't have any record of the lease" and "sometimes it can take up to 40 days to process everything". Well, after 2 1/2 months of driving around, the woman from Toyota Financial suggested to call Antioch Toyota to see what's going on. 10 minutes later, she tells me that there was some paperwork she was waiting on and that everything should be squared away in a few days. I got a call from the finance woman, Tatiana on a Friday, and she tells me that there was an error on the "money factor" and that I had to come in asap to resign the revised contract. After hearing that I wasn't able to come in over the weekend, she began to berate me and say it is my responsibility to make the payments (without a lender) and that my car will get repossessed and my credit affected. She also kept saying that I should return the car, no questions asked if I couldn't come on the weekend and that is when I'd finally had it. I made it there that Sunday evening and returned the car to Steve Peralta, the Sales manager, who's wonderful and was completely appalled at my story and couldn't apologize enough for my experience. Later that week on Tuesday, I talked to the GM, Don, whom was also very apologetic and asked if he can fix everything, I told him I still needed a car and was willing to give them a second chance, so he said he was going to have a sales rep contact me the following day. I received no call Wednesday. Nothing Thursday. On Friday, I'd decided it was long enough and called Don, who immediately took responsibility for dropping the ball (he forgot to have the original sales rep call me) and that he will make sure I not only get taken care of but I get a screaming deal, so I decided to give them a third chance (3rd time's a charm, right?). Finally talked to the sales rep, Jim, who's an honest to goodness great guy, but unfortunately, all he kept talking about was how the rebates weren't as good as they originally were as last time and that I'd end up paying more for the exact same car. Rebate? That's the "screaming deal" I was offered? A credit from the MANUFACTURER. And on top of that, the rebate wasn't as good as before. They never offered to take a hit on one lousy car to fix the nightmare of a screw up that I experienced, and for that, they deserve zero stars; unfortunately, 1 star is the lowest I can give.

We stopped by and shopped at Antioch Toytota to look for a new Camry 2012 without appointment or anything. By the time we came in, one young man named Matt Zazay came to greet us and help us to look for a car model and color that we wanted. We had a test drive with him. He was very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable about the car. Within no time we were driving home in the car we wanted. We are very happy with the service Matt provided and highly recommend him.

I don't usually write reviews, let creating an account to write my personal experience at the dealership, but I must say purchasing my new car was the greatest experience!

My mom's car was recently totaled in an accident, so she was looking for a new car. We saw a used Toyota Corolla listed on craigslist, for sale at Antioch Toyota. We went to the dealership and dealt with Elias. My mom enthusiastically wanted the car, but she told him that she had to wait 3 more days for the insurance check to arrive. She asked him if they would hold the car if she put down $1000 of her own money. He said yes, she signed some papers, wrote a check and we left this place thinking they were saving this car for her.Fast forward 3 days and the Fed Ex guy screws up and delivers the check to the wrong address. We both called Antioch Toyota several times that day and talked to Don to find out the status of the car. Every time he told us they didn't know, there was no way they could find out if the car was still on the lot and that they would call us back. They never called back.So today, I call and talk to Charles. He tells me she doesn't have a contract (so who knows what she signed?) He tells me he doesn't know if the car is still there but she's welcome to come and look at their other cars. Mind you, this was a 2003 Corolla on sale for $6500. They had no other cars for that price when she went in to look and she is on a fixed income and can't afford anymore than the price of the Corolla.Honestly, it's pretty fat%ked up to tell a disabled senior citizen with no transportation that you will hold a car for them, then try to get them to come in and spend even more money after selling the car from under her. If it's not in your policy to save cars, then don't tell your customer that you are going to save a car for her. Antioch Toyota, you don't deserve anybody's business. So much for customer service. Elias, Don and Charles, you make a dishonest living, jerks.

Dear Sir / Madam,This is just a note to let you know how pleased I was with the service I received. Your employee Mr. Hamid Kandahari was especially helpful. In my opinion, the level of service that Mr. Hamid Kandahari extended to me and my wife was far beyond our expectations. I have never before written a letter like this. However, in this case I was so impressed by the support and services provide by Mr. Hamid Kandahari that I felt compelled to go on record with my praise.Thank you for your commitment to providing excellent customer service. Keep up the good work. Sincerely,Solomon Bezuneh

Most done over internet and things went very well. The truck was ready, length of time at dealership was good. Dealership was clean. People were helpful and both these individuals kept me informed and made the whole transaction go smoothly.

There are so many problems I don't even know were to begin. Upon looking back at the dealings with Antioch Toyota I am bewildered. First they tried to sell us a lemon in September 2008. They agreed to sell us a 96 Ford Taurus on the back of there lot. We paid $2000 down and agreed to pay $1000 the next week and another $1000 the following week. They said if we came in the day of post date of each $1000 check and made the $1000 payment they would give us back the check. But when we went in to make the payment they said they had already put the check through So we had to go to the bank and put the funds in so the check would clear. After trying to fix this car myself and discovering it had a recall, we brought it back to the dealer a month later. Apparently this car had a recall on it that the dealership overlooked, ignored or tried to cover up before giving the vehicle to us. I remember them saying the vehicle would not be ready for a couple of days and when we picked it up I noticed that they had washed most of the rust from under the hood around the reservoir. The repair for this was to install a hose bypass kit, but if it wasnt done early enough and to much rust accumulated then the engine, radiator and heater core would have to be replaced. They took it back and sold us another car. We came in with good credit and $4000 cash down (Money paid for first car) and they sold us a used car worth about $6000(Historical price value Edmonds,03 Hyundai Accent 48,000 miles, September 08)for about $11,5000(14000-2500 service contract) witch was not in mint condition. We had mentioned to the sales people when we bought these cars that we use them for delivery vehicles and go through a lot of cars. You mite think we would be a good customer to have. We were at the end of our rope and stressed out in returning the first car.I don't know why we taken advantage of so severally and treated so poorly, as well as being lied to in our time of need. I remember waiting to sign the sales contract for the second vehicle and a man came storming out and stopped to tell us not to buy a vehicle hear, I should have listened. Making you wait at the dealership is just a tactic used by the dealer so when they finally bring you in you are just ready to sign and leave. This bring up a question of the reasons they give you why it is taking so long. Does it really take this long to do the paperwork. I feel I was lied to before I had finally got in to the finance office to sign the sales contract. After returning this car and buying the 03 Hyundai Accent. We got a call from the finance manager who said that we had to come back in and sign a new sales contract because he had not done the first one right. Which we did a couple of days later. The following week we called the finance manager back to cancel the service contract because of the amount of miles we put on the cars we buy we would be wasting our money and he said we would have to come in and sign a cancellation contract which we did a couple of days later. After signing the cancellation contract they said we would have to wait a few months and watch the balance on our statement from Toyota go down. I feel this is just another tactic used by this dealership to keep you from getting your money back. At other dealerships in the past I have simply made a phone call and had a cancellation done. Also a few months after buying the car we were getting calls from Toyota that we were two payments behind. I was worried this would affect my good credit. We had never even gotten a bill yet how could we be behind. We had explained to the finance manager when we signed the sales contract that we lived in a town that only receives mail through PO Box numbers. We gave him the PO Box number when we signed the contract. Also after buying this car we were getting delinquent registration from the DMV. Come to find out we had been driving the car with the temporary registration in the window from the dealer but the registration wasnt paid through the DMV so if we got pulled over a cop could have towed our vehicle. We were getting no paperwork from the dealer. To this day we are still getting the run around through almost everybody we talk to about the service contract refund, and all the interest paid for having it not refunded. I find this dealership to be sloppy(Paperwork), intimidating(Sales Tactics, having you wait to sign the contract so when they finally bring you in to sign all you want to do is sign and leave), dishonest(Sales People, 96 Ford Taurus), difficult(Dealership Employees, Phone Calls) and hassling to deal with.

After purchasing a Venza from Antioch Toyota, signing the contract and having the vehicle for 3 days they called me to say there was a computer glitch and they forgot to charge me sales tax and license. Now they want me to pay an additional $3700.00 on top of the purchase price or return the vehicle. I since then spoken to 2 finance managers at other car dealerships who told me it is a sales ploy to get more money out of me. On my conract under sales tax and license it reads N/A.

I bought a used 2007 Infinti M45 Sport with 27,500 miles from Antioch Toyota the evening of 1/30/09. I did this after I had driven about 6 cars with salesman, Carlos Lara, who was very patient. I offered cash for a brand new Avalon which the sales manager, Bob Shewry, did not feel was a fair value. In these economics times, the cash I was offering should have been substantial enough, but no! Then he mentioned that they had a 2007 Infiniti on a neighboring lot and asked if I'd like to see it. After being there for many many hours, I said "yes". I have to say the car was outstanding and had all the bells & whistles I wanted. We worked out a deal, still me paying more than I had intended. I had noticed that the car shimmied and I told that to the salesman, the sales mgr. and the finance person, Steve Peralta. I requested a Carfax report which came back clean, so I felt good about that. When I was in the Peralta's office and he was drawing up papers, I told him that the car shimmied and that I was promised by Shewry that the car would be examined the follwing week. I told Peralta that I would not sign anything until he typed up a "due" sheet that I complained about the handling of the car. When I received the car, I was only given one smartkey. Carlos Lara said that they didn't have another one.On 1/31/09, in the afternoon, I drove to Niello Infiniti in Concord to get another key made. I was met by Leslie Weld who went to my car to retrieve the Vin #. She came back inside and asked me if I knew about the tire pressure gauge and I said no. She then took me to the car and showed me the exclamation point and explained what it meant. She then said she was going to have the mechanics take a look at the tires. I then told her of the shimmying. 30 minutes later she asks me to follow her into the garage so that the mechanic can show me that the right front inner rim was bent!! The tire was not holding any pressure. In other words, the rim was rubbing against the tire causing the tire to lose pressure!!!!! On my behalf, because I was so upset, Leslie called Antioch Toyota and asked to speak to the general mgr. Guess what? No managers were available until Tuesday, 2/4/09. They put me in harm's way and THEY KNEW IT!! I am putting a hold on my check until this matter is resolved. Niello's has me in a loaner as they would not permit me to drive the M45 for my safety.

This dealer had it all; pouncing salesman, blaring music, and high-pressure sales. We repeatedly told the salesman we were not buying that day, and he pretended not to hear us. They did not have the car we wanted, but the salesman was almost desperate to get us to buy one off their lot, telling us the one we wanted wasn't as good as what he had. He was not very well informed about the cars either - I knew more about its features than he did! He kept talking about the price in terms of monthly payments, even when I said we would rather deal in terms of the overall price. However, he did open every car we asked to see and did try to be helpful. When he saw we were determined to leave, he pressed us for personal information. We made our escape and bought elsewhere. Even if they had what we wanted, I would have been extremely wary about buying from them.
