We purchased a new car from this dealership, and has some initial vehicle and customer service issues with it. The Service director at that time put in writing that due to the dealership's mess ups, that he had authorized two detailing jobs with no expiration. Called to finally have the car detailed and was informed that the dealership no longer would honor the agreement. This had been authorized multiple times throughout, but in the last year they had a whole turn over of staff. Very disappointed that the dealership no longer honors what they give you, even with it in writing. Future buyers or anyone going in for Service beware!!

If I wrote this review ten minutes after buying my car it would have been a five star review. But, it's all gone downhill...fast. As if I had no brakes. Wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. Went in last week after seeing a 2012 MINI on the lot online with low miles. Dealt with Mark who was friendly and thorough. The car was nice and I was interested. So we took it for a drive. During the drive, while trying to take everything in I notice a light on the dash that's says, "BRAKE". I thought nothing of it as I was braking at the time and never drove a MINI so maybe the light comes on to tell me to brake or let me know brakes are engaged. Anyways, we get back to the dealership and do the whole song and dance with the numbers. I feel I got a good deal. I kept the staff late and appreciate them staying and being patient. I go out to claim my car and drive off the lot. But I see that darn "BRAKE" light again. I get home and read the manual to find that it's a service light. Great. So in the morning I go to call Mark the salesman but he was off. Friday, the next day, I call again and also leave him an email. I end up scheduling a service date as soon as one was open. Mark then calls me and says I should go to MINI for service. His rationale: their car their parts. Ok, so I get into MINI as soon as I can. Great service there btw. $557 for new pads and rotors. Apparently they were really far worn. I call Ardmore Nissan and Mark and get the "there's nothing I can do" line when I ask for him to talk to his manager. I call again and leave a message for "any manager" still nothing for two days. Meanwhile I do get three calls. One is from the finance guy who can't find the references I provided and the other two are from Mark the salesman who can't find a) the signed insurance forms and b) the copy of my license. Disorganized much!? I call again and get Michael the manager who puts up a bit of a wall and says I should have gotten service at Ardmore because it wouldn't cost him as much. He still lets me send my bill to him. Two days later I have to follow up with him again as I got no response. Then he starts with the line "what is it you're looking for here?" I'll tell you what I'm looking for - don't sell cars with bad parts and don't put up a fight when someone calls you out on it. I don't know how this car got put on the lot with a service light and worn pads/rotors. Did they even take a look at it. I'm concerned. So I still have no resolution. I'm never going to Ardmore Nissan again and will advise both of my coworkers who are also car shopping. If there is a resolution, I'll update this post. But I'm not holding my breath.

Our experience from the beginning with searching the internet and communicating with Dawn; internet manager; arriving at the dealership and meeting Bart Dowdy; sales consultant; and finally completing the transaction with Megan; finance manager; was seamless and a great buying experience. Dawn greeted us and directed us to Bart. Bart has a great personality, patient and genuinely concerned about our experience. We had an enjoyable test drive and rewarding experience. He was attentive to our requests and accommodated our reservations. During the sales process he was never pushy and when stepping away to get paperwork and questions answered, Dawn came over and was interested in our experience. A good rapport among employees. They must be doing something right as the bell was ringing and sales were very busy. The wait to see the finance manager was longer than we wanted, (a good thing as sales were busy) but well worth the trip from Reading. The sales showroom was clean as well as the service and sales waiting area. Thanks for the water and popcorn!Thumbs up for a great experience. And a great car. I went into the dealership with one car in mind, a nissan altima coupe. I met with Sherman Brooks and he assisted me the whole time during my purchase. We test drove the car and it drove beautifully! I let Sherman know my budget from the jump and he worked with me to get it to my budget. Since, the car was a certified-preowned he advised me to get the 7-year 100,000 mile warranty which is what I got. I got a great 2012 nissan altima coupe with only 21k miles for a great deal even though I was first time car buyer.I asked a ton load of questions and he answered all of them thoughtfully. If he didn't know the answer, he got it from someone who did! Ardmore Nissan is very professional and they will do whatever it takes to get the car you desire to fit your budget!

Came to Ardmore Nissan just to kill time while my daughter was getting her hair done up the street and left in a new car. I looked online the week prior to do some homework and was not going to buy a car until Jan 1st. I was greeted my the manager Michael who was very pleasant and helpful. Told him I was just looking and not a serious buyer at all. He said he would turn me over to his senior sales rep Armen who has been at the dealership for a very long time. We talked for about 20 minutes about his family and mine and that drew me in to taking a test drive which then drew me in to buying the car. I had no intention at all to buy a car but he made me feel at home and just had a great attitude about life and you could see he loved what he did. Shopped online for three months to find out the best price that I could get for my needs. I am a single mother with three kids and have a very tight budget. I went to Ardmore Nissan because they showed the car that I thought would fit perfect for me and my family. I was greeted on the lot by a salesman name Armen who answered all my questions. He was great with my kids and when we got to his desk he pull out his ipad so my kids could watch a movie which he had downloaded for them. After talking about his family and his little boy he made me feel at ease with my purchase. After my purchase of a car they rung a bell to make me feel special for buying a car. Made me and the kids feel like we made the right decision. They were very busy that day and bought us Pizza to help with the wait and my children being hungry. I purchased my Altima from another dealership closer to my home and use Ardmore for service since I work in the area and they always shuttle me to work on time. This time I had to be in early for work and one of the salesman name Armen drove me in his own car. Not one time did we talk about buying a car. He made me feel like a family member and friend while driving me. Very friendly and very funny guy. I came back to pick up my car and decided to talk to him about the new body style Altima. I was completely happy from the beginning to the end of the deal. I am a big Yankees fan and so was there GM Chrys which Armen introduced me to. He was great and friendly as well. I contacted Dawn the internet girl because I saw a car online that I thought would fit into my budget. Dawn turned me over to a Senior Sales Rep name Armend and he was great. He had the car ready for me and even when there was a bump in the road with my credit they worked it out for me and had me in the car that day. Walked into Ardmore Nissan on Thursday to look at some Pre-Own cars that they had in stock and left out in a certified Nissan Rogue. I was welcome by a very friendly salesman name Armen who from what I can remember has been at the dealership for a long time. Going to try and make this as short and sweet and right to the point. Contacted this dealership over a vehicle I wanted. They respond back to me and stated that none of the questions I asked through the website were received. FISHY! So I respond and ask my questions again. The response this time...... Sorry, the car was sold while we were receiving your request. REALLY? Bottom line , the dealership lists cars online and then once they are sold, they don't remove them. Thankfully I contacted them before driving a few hours only to be lied to.

I was at Ardmore Nissan a few weeks ago to buy a car, but couldn't make the deal work. Out of the blue, Julie Thompson called me, said she had reviewed my file and was convinced she could get me into a car, if only I would come in and give her a chance.I came in the next day, and a few hours later, I was indeed driving off the lot in my new car. I am sure Julie's persistence, never-give-up attitude, positive outlook and experience sealed the deal this time around.I had a bought a car at Ardmore Nissan before, and the experience was just as good. Leased a 2014 Nissan Sentra. Completed online credit info before I went to the dealership.Had down payment and monthly lease numbers ready for me when I went to test drive the vehicle. Most unprofessional experience I have ever encountered purchasing a car! I bought a "certified" car from them, after reviewing the certification paperwork it was obviously pen whipped in order to get it certified. They will promise you the world, but as soon as you drive off the lot forget about it. My temp tags have been expired for a week and I have yet to get in touch with anyone that has any competence resolving my registration issue. I simply get the run around whenever I inquire, they push the blame off on the DMV. Funny, whenever I buy a car from an individual I'm in and out of the DMV the same day with my registration. Why cant a dealership that does this every day get their stuff together? Its because they DONT CARE about their customers after they buy the car. So, if you want to pay thousands of dollars for a car you can't legally drive this dealership is for you. I wouldn't buy a used lawnmower from them after knowing how they treat their customers after the sale. If you do purchase a car from Ardmore, don't expect them to.follow through on anything. They clearly have no idea what's going on within the walls of their dealership, let alone outside of it. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

The end result was worth the hassle that comes with visiting any car dealership. Overall I had a good experience with this dealership, however during my first visit they made little effort to even gather my contact information. They are lucky I was interested in buying a car, otherwise they did not even ask for my phone number. The salespeople seemed unprofessional at times, using profanity. My biggest complaint is that I waited over an hour for them to even find the car I was looking for. They also did not explain any of the car's features to me. I would go back here only if they had a car I really wanted and I was willing to waste hours of my time.

He was very pleasant to talk with and even has a sense of humor. He has impeccable customer service skills. I left very very satisfied and having made a friend. Walked into Ardmore last Saturday to purchase a new Nissan truck. Our trade was a 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro with 33,700 miles on it. It had brand new tires, battery, inspection. We spent 1,400.00 and had receipts in hand. I knew what a fair price was, but when the sales manager Mike Loff walked over, after the truck was looked at, he offered up 16,000. We actually laughed at him. I already knew what a fair price was, but he said he had to put 2,000.00 into the truck to certify it. Maybe he though I was stupid. We got up and walked out. Drove by Ardmore Toyota and got 2,800.00 more for the truck. Now who was stupid. He lost a sale on a new vechile, and I would never have anyone go or recommend this dealership to anyone I know. Maybe the owner of the dealership should know how he runs his business. My cousin was in the market for a nissan, and I told her what happened to us, and she bought her new Nissan Marano elsewhere. I was so glad, I talked to her first. Please do not deal with this dealership, if you are in the market for a Nissan, they Do Not Know how to treat customers.

I had been shopping for some time locally online and locally for an Xterra. I know the drill having purchased 10 cars, and also having had a son and good friend work in the industry. I was looking for a killer deal, not a good deal, not a fair deal. I wanted well below invoice, as I know the dealers still make money in that zone. Ardmore was willing to give me that killer deal and it was worth driving 500 miles round trip to go get it. Rick was fantastic, understanding I was coming a long way to get it and to have us out in a timely fashion. The SUV is amazing and fun to drive. I would certainly recommend giving them a shout. They deal on volume and make incentives back from Nissan corporate, so they seem willing to let the cars go for less, fast by internet sales. Buddy

I saw an internet special deal for a certified pre-owned 2013 car, but when I went there to buy on the price listed on their official website, I was shocked that he took off the certification and asked to me to pay extra for it. I did printout the internet deal and on the bottom it says that the price does not include taxes, registration, documentation, and fees by law. it does not say anything about extra money for certification as it was already listed as certified. Moreover, from my previous visit to this dealer I know that the price listed does include the certification with it. He kept saying that the car is valued more, Its not my problem that you listed it for a special deal less than what you think it should be!!! BOTTOM LINE PRICE VARIES ACCORDING TO WHAT THEY WANT NOT WHAT THEY LIST, A 2011 CAR ONLINE PRICE INCLUDED CERTIFICATION, AND IN DEALER SAME PRICE BUT 2013 CAR ONLINE PRICE INCLUDED CERTIFICATION, AND IN DEALER IT DID NOT PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE if this was my first time their I would understand different hidden statements for different dealers. However, to prove my point I already went their 2 weeks ago for the same car certified pre-owned but a 2011. At that time we agreed on a deal and it was $1000 less than the listed price, but when I wanted to sign the papers he wanted me to waive the certification because of the deduction in the price. For a 2011 I did not want to buy non-certified car so I told him I do not want to pay extra and let me see about it.

Recently was in Ardmore Nissan interested in purchasing a used Nissan rogue, salesman was great and friendly and was knowledgeable. I wanted to think about this big purchase over the weekend, however the sales manager named mike? got involved when I had stated I wanted to think about it. Mike came over and was sort of a dopey pushy sleazy manager and had a very hard time letting me think about the decision instead of purchasing today, there's was way to much pressure brought to me after such a pleasant experience with the salesman named willy. I did not purchase the vehicle, I love the vehicle but the pressures of buying is already tough enough but the over bearing of a pushy manager is a turn off.

Was there for almost 5 hours with my 2 year old was told 1 price by the salesman to have it changed with finance. Felt pressured and forced to sign so I could leave did so. Called Nissan and nothing was even processed so I took the car back they refused to take it back and said it was out of their hands. Nissan and NMAC both said since nothing was processed even though papers were signed the dealer could cancel it still yet even with giving them this information they refuse to.

I recently drove from North Jersey to pickup a 13' Maxima from Ardmore Nissan, as it was the only dealer within driving distance that had the exact trim and color I wanted- I have to say from start to finish, the experience was excellent. I've been through about 5 different car dealers in my life, and it's generally on par with going to the dentist. After calling to make sure the Maxima was still available, I spoke to Brian who assured me he would stay late and wait for me to get there. This is hugely important, as I work late and needed to come after hours on top of an almost 2 hour drive in rush hour. He ended up sending me home that night in the car, and it was virtually painless (as far as buying a car goes!). The price was more than fair, I don't think there is much fluctuation on models this new. The whole staff seemed to be attentive, and there was almost no pressure like you normally feel the second you walk into a dealer. I would highly recommend these guys, talk to Brian if you can.

Most dishonest dealership I have ever had to deal with ! They try to hide every information from you. When we purchased the car they told us our financing is with Nissan auto.. but then we never received any paperwork for a month and half ! Then they tell us their you financing is with Chase... I never signed any paper which said 'Chase'.... They changed the price of the car after getting us to agree for a credit check.... DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM.... WORST DEALERSHIP IN THE WORLD

Went to this dealership recently to look at a used 2006 BMW. After checking the vehicle out and expressing sincere interest, I notified the sales associate I worked with that I would be returning the next day to take the car on the highway for a final test and then we could talk numbers. When I arrived that evening, the sales associate was working with another customer who was interested in the same vehicle. While I was there, the sales associate sold the car to another customer. The "manager" Brian Hansell informed me of this, and when I expressed that I was there the previous day and contacted them that day (as they could of at least notified me of another party interested, they had my information), he told me "You snooze, you lose." I have never been treated so poorly while looking for another vehicle. I recommend you look elsewhere as the sales staff there doesn't seem to respect their customers.

My friend recommended Ardmore Nissan so I went there to check them out. She was right! Everyone was friendly and they treated me with great respect. My salesman, Tom Kaden, made buying my car very easy. He asked me what I liked and didn't like about my old car, and if there was anything that I didn't have in my old car that I wanted in my new one. The result was a 2013 Pathfinder that I absolutey love! I've bought many cars over the years but I can honestly say that, by far, this was my best buying experience of them all. Armen was extremely informative about the credentials of each car we looked at. Being recently divorced I did have some credit problems, but he and Joe worked and worked and I left with a new car even though I came for a used one. The new was actually the best finincial deal for me and my comfort zone also as far as warranties are concerned and the type of vehicle I desired.Armen was a very pleasent and upbeat person which was so helpful in a long process of car choosing and financing as he was a fountain of information about each car and a generally perky and engaging person. Originally i bought a car from them, They gave me the keys and said enjoy, i then got a call later that day saying that then need more information. I had no more information and couldnt give anything else, They then told me to bring the car back as it was not mine, If it was not mine, why did they give me the car in the first place. I will make it simple, they blew up my phone when i was a medical appointments, my lawyer etc. they appear friendly at first... IF YOU SHOP HERE YOU ARE ASKING FOR A HEADACHE. They also blamed me for another car that they had just taken in and it had not been serviced and tried to sell it to me. There was still sticky soda residue in the cup holder. BUYER BEWARE, I had to use my insurance tow to have the car towed back to them and i had to find a different way home from my MEDICAL APPOINTMENT!

This is the second vehicle that I bought from this dealership. It's amazing how much volume that they pop out of that store, considering its size. As a matter of survival I suppose (because of it's diminutive size), they go to great lengths to aggressively seek the car for which you're looking. Additionally, they will work with you on price, as well as offer fair-value for the trade-in. The finance manager worked with me to determine that best financing options for my situation, which worked in my favor. If you're reading this, you probably know that it is time consuming (and basically a pain in the neck) to write reviews. I'm busy, but these guys deserve my time, and deserve the positive review.

After three weeks of shopping for a car and being disgusted with the typical "games" played by dealers I went into Ardmore Nissan. I was looking for a 2011 Rogue and happened to drive by the dealership on my way to an appointment at Lanakeau Hospital. After my appointment I stooped in and was greeted at the front door by the General Manager Kevin Lambert. He introduced himself, thanked me for visiting the dealership and asked how they could be of assistance. I told him that I was looking for a Rogue in a particulair color and I had already wasted three weeks of my life trying to find one. He assured me that they had exactly what I was looking for and he introduced me to a salesman, Armen. From the beginning Armen seemed to be genuinely interested in making me comfortable and happy! He asked me a few questions and then walked me out to where the Rogues were kept. Lo and behold they did have the exact car I wanted despite being told by three other Nissan dealers that "there were none out there". Armen showed me the car, and he went over every feature which is something that noone else had done, and then we went for a ride. When we came back to the dealership Armen showed me the service department which he said was rated as one of the highest in the nation for customer satisfaction. He introduced me to Mark and we had a conversation for a few moments about what I was looking at and how reliable the Rogue was. We then went to Armens desk and Armen said he would be right back with a proposal. While I was waiting for Armen two different salespeople, a Willie and a Mary asked me how I was doing and did I like the Rogue. I was amazed at the overall friendliness of everyone! Armen came back and went over the numbers with me and to my astonishment the numbers were actually lower than I had been told elsewhere. i didn't even have to fight and negotiate! Needless to say I purchased the Rogue and I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am! I have told all of my friends and co-workers how wonderful it was buying my Rogue at Ardmore and especially how nice and friendly everyone from the top on down was to me. I am no spring chicken and I have bought many, many cars over the years and I can say without hesitation that this was the best car buying experience I have ever had! thanks to Kevin, Armen, and the entire staff at Ardmore for making me comfortable and for getting me the Rouge I wanted at a price that seemed very fair.

My dealer is an absolute disgrace to the Nissan company. I was treated with the most unprofessional and disdainful customer service I have ever experienced. After talking with one of their online internet sales reps, I was told that my vehicle would be worth $18,00 or more. So Saturday I came into the dealership, ready to buy a 2011 Nissan xTerra. I explained that I was ready to buy over 60 months the xTerra and would like their best offer. I also told them I had limited time but would be willing to come back to sign the papers either later that day or on Monday. The sale rep that I dealt with in the store was not the internet rep as the internet rep was on vacation and he would have to evaluate the value of my vehicle. After close to an hour he came back in to tell me that my vehicle would only be worth $16000 because of scratches that were on it would take hours of repair. I told him I wasn't aware of any scratches and I told him that was unacceptable and that his $16000 offer was unacceptable and I would shop around. The sales rep then went to his sales manager to ask for more value. They both came over and said they would call around to see if they could get $17,000 but that if they could they would like me to promise to make a deal with them. I again told them I would shop around. After I left, I got the car washed to see what specific "scratches" they were referring to. Once cleaned there were black marks which after 30 seconds of gentle rubbing were removed. I immediately emailed the sales rep back explaining this and asked that he reconsider the value as originally appraised by the internet sales rep. He failed to get back to me so I went to the store. When I arrived, he met me in the lot and told me that the best he could do even with the lack of scratches was $16,500. So I went in to speak with the sales manager, he was just as ignorant and disrespectful and told me I could take it or leave it. I asked where the $18,000 offer went that I had in writing from one of his reps? I also had an ad sent by the store that said the store would give $500 above Kelley Blue Book (which my vehicle is currently valued at $18, 464). Both the sales manager and the sales rep asked me, "Who sent this post card to you? The value of the vehicle depreciate all the time." I said, "Your store sent this to me and one of your reps put in writing 24 hours ago that the value of my vehicle was at least $18,000 and I highly think my car depreciated $3000 in 24 hours." I also confronted them about the alleged scratches on my vehicle that would take "countless man hours to fix" that I literally wiped off in less than 30 seconds. They both lied and said the scratches had no bearing on the $16,000 price they gave me yesterday.These lies, rude behavior and horrific customer service are making me significantly question my choice of the Nissan brand. I have been a loyal customer for 3 years. I was ready to buy a new vehicle TODAY and in CASH, however because of this terrible treatment over the past 48 hours I am doubting if this is a company where I want to spend my money. These men are an awful representation of a car buying experience and an extremely poor reflection of your company and brand. As a business owner myself, I would be appalled if any of my sales team treated any customer the way I was treated not once but by 3 different employees

I have dealt with this dealership for years and have always had a great experience of both buying and having cars serviced. Mary Kelly is one of the few remaining 'old style' sales people who continually asks if you're happy after you've bought your car and is always making sure you're satisfied in any way. She epitomizes what a salesperson should be.But for me, it is the quality of the service department which, over the past 20 years, ensured that I buy my automobiles there. Don Spence, the Service Manager, was my service writer 20 years ago when it was an Oldsmobile dealership and he shows the same concern now as he did then. He always asks if everything has been done satisfactorily, is always a pleasure to deal with and the shop follows his lead as Service Manager. If Don isn't there, Ms. Kane (his Assistant) is the "spittin' image" of him in making sure the customer is happy. Mark Baer, the Service Writer assigned to me, has shown the same attitude in the year he's been there. And the few times I've needed parts, both Donnie and Joe are extremely helpful.

Very deceptive. Totally misslead me and my wife, we work very hard for our money and we will not give it to Ardmore Nissan (EVER). We traveled hundreds of miles to purchase a vehicle and wastold it was like new with only 36000 miles on it. Upon arrival the vehicle had been crashed in the frontend resulting in the bumper, hood and left front fender being painted at that dealership and of course it was not on the carfax. Interior had coolaid all over the floor and the leather interior was destroyed. They lied just to get us there. BYER BEWARE

It sounds like the other customers have had issues with certain employees that probably do not work there anymore.Unlike the other customers that posted, I have expected to pay when bringing my car in for service.They have always been very helpful and willing. If I ever had a question about a service advisor or my car the service manager has always been more then helpful.

I brought my car there about a year ago to have the cd player repaired. It took 3 times of bringing it back before I finally went to another dealer. Each time I brought it in I was told that a new part would have to be ordered and it would take 10 days. I would come pick up the vehicle only to find the cd player still not working. Once, in between the 3 times I brought my car in and they actually looked at it, I brought in the vehicle because someone hit it. I used the dealer's service shop and asked them to look at the cd player while it was there. They kept my car for 6 weeks (2 weeks longer than anticipated) and still did not look at the cd player. Instead of working with me and apologizing, I was yelled at. I switched dealerships and the new dealership got the new part to me in 3 days - not 10 - and I have not had any further problems.Months after I switched dealers I ran into the owner of Ardmore Nissan. We spoke for awhile and I decided to give the dealership a second chance. 2 days ago I completed an online form to have an oil change and brake inspection. The online form asked for the problems and the days I could bring in the car. A couple hours later I received a phone call from the service advisor. He again asked why I needed to bring in the vehicle and when I could bring it in. He kept asking the same questions, which was frustrating. He was upset that I initially wanted to bring the car in at 10:00 and then when I agreed to bring it in an hour earlier he said 10:00 was ok. This morning at 9:00 am I received a phone call from the service advisor. He asked if I was bringing in my _____ (wrong car) and I corrected him and said yes, in an hour. He said ok. I dropped the car off and awaited an answer.I got a phone call from the service advisor later in the day. He explained what was wrong and told me that I had to pay for the estimate. I understand that there are times when this is necessary, but I believe I should have been notified BEFORE continuing with the estimate so that I could opt of having it done. Additionally, when he told me what was wrong with the vehicle I said "thank you, I will come pick it up. I need to have a second opinion/estimate." He proceeded to berate me about getting a second opinion. Sarcastically he sad "second opinion?" and went on to tell me that if I went anywhere else they would put in non-Nissan parts and I would have problems in the future. Throughout the ordeal the service advisor also continually tried to sell me on additional services that I did not want/need. I kept explaining that I only wanted an oil change and an estimate but I was constantly badgered.I gave this dealership a second chance and I regret doing so. I will never use the dealership again and have been recommending to everyone I know who has a Nissan not to use them either. They have already lost one potential customer because I explained my experience and she decided not to go there. The customer service is atrocious and the service repairs are appalling. I don't know how they are still in business.

I went to them only while my car was under warranty, but not anymore. Mechanics are fine, but the service managers are rotten. They always try to pressure you into buying extra services by claiming that you'll void your warranty if you don't get them. They also lie about what services are done. For example, at my 33,000 mi. oil change, they said I missed my 30,000 mi. tune-up. But I distinctly remembered having them do it because it was so expensive ($835+tax) and they left my car a mess. The guy put on a big show about how it wasn't in the computer and how he never forgets a face and how he never seen me in the shop before and how my car was going to blow up, etc. if I don't get the service done, etc. I declined the tune-up. Just an oil change for me, which took 90 minutes. When I went home, I found the receipt for the tune-up. It was done by the by the guy who claimed he never seen my face before. Liars!

Before getting into meat of my comments, notice how the supposedly positive (10/17/04) review came soon after the horrible review (9/21/04), and they didn't bother verifying it. Adding to suspicion, even though the 10/17/04 review is supposedly positive, the lazy Ardmore employee forgot to click on "recommended".I have now had two disastrous visits with two cars to the service shop. Before the last one, by phone they claimed that the $89 check engine light charge would be applied to the service resulting from it. When I picked up my car, surprise surprise, amnesia hit, and I get charged the $89 in addition to the other minor work I had them do in order to cover the $89. By the way, Autozone checks that code in about two minutes for free. Even other dealerships don't have the guts to charge $89 for 5 minutes of work.I had two codes on the engine light - coils problem and air flow meter. They were very eager to replace all the coils for slightly south of $1000, even though they didn't know which coil was problematic. Luckily, I was able to get an opinion from my previous mechanic where I used to live. He said to reset the code, and see what happens, because other than the light, I did not report any noticeable problem with the car. He also said that the air flow meter problem could be causing the coil code to turn on even without coil problems.A month later the light came on again with just one of the two problems. Surprise, Surprise. There was only an air flow meter problem. The coils magically fixed themselves.Bottom line: They are dishonest (see $89 charge comment above), and they are either incompetent and/or eager to perform work that may not be necessary (see comment about the coils).
