Frustrated after looking at a truck at a local dealer in Connecticut, my father suggested I call Matt at AS&L. Matt and I talked about what I was looking for, and not only did he find the truck I wanted ... he exceeded my expectations. Easiest car purchase I ever made. 1700 miles away and not a single glitch in the process!

I would recommend ASL to anyone. I worked with Matt for everything and he was so helpful! I was alittle nervous being that this was my first car I had ever purchased, but he made it an enjoyable experience. He found me a car that I absolutely loved! The car was a trade in and he was very upfront and honest about the couple things that were wrong with it. He had it fixed up and detailed and it looked like a brand new car in the end! I am very happy with my experience and my new car!!

We bought our 1st vehicle from Matt at ASL in 1995, another in 2002, and the last one in August. The cars have been excellent, long lasting (10 - 15 years each), and the purchase process open and honest. The last car was a 2003 van that replaced our 2002. ASL doesn't usually deal with cars that old but the previous owner had had it serviced at ASL for about 7 or 8 years and traded it in on a newer one, so Matt & the gang knew it well. It was exceptionally clean. We were happy. Shortly, about 3 weeks,after purchase it developed electrical problems that was very, very difficult to diagnose and repair. Matt and ASL far exceeded our expectations in helping us deal with the inconvenience and expense of the extended repair process with loaners when needed, empathy, and a constant upbeat and reassuring attitude. If you're looking for a used car dealer with integrity and one you can trust,you can't do better than ASL.

When searching for a car this is one dealership that is open and honest. They are willing to listen to your questions and concerns. They went through every aspect of the car to make sure comfortable driving and know where to find things. Would recommend the dealer to ALL! When I am in need of a new car will be going back!

My wife and I are new to the area. We were stranded and had an urgent car repair need for a vehicle we did not purchase from this dealership. Associated went above and beyond by sending a mechanic and were able to fit us in immediately. They gave us a loaner vehicle, no questions asked, so we could get back and forth to work without headaches.They worked hard to investigate the matter until they found the solution. They were wonderful to us and treated us like family. Matt Barrier, especially, was genuine and extremely accommodating! We will give them our future business. You don't forget people who treat you right!

We bought our first new car thru associated. We had went to a few other dealerships and they really didn't care what we wanted or the cost. They just tried pushing us into buying anything they had on their lot! Matt was totally different. Not only did he give us a chance when our credit wasn't "the best" but he also went out of his way to find us the car that we wanted. And the care and respect we got from him during the whole process was absolutely amazing! We weren't just a sale, we were people! Roughly a year later our son wanted to purchase a newer vehicle as well. We went to Matt with the idea and not two weeks later he was calling us with options for him. He bought his car there as well and we are all just loving our new vehicles! We will NEVER go anywhere else or suggest anywhere else to any of our family and friends. Associated Sales is the place everyone should go to if you want to get your moneys worth, be treated with respect, and have a salesman who actually cares about his customers!

We drove about 3 hours from Minnesota to Associated Sales & Leasing on the good faith that the car was going to be as described online and over the phone with Ben and Pete. We were happy to see that the car met and exceeded the description! Pete was upfront, stayed past normal business hours to help us, made sure the car was detailed, filled with gas/ready to go, and was very accommodating!! We would definitely recommend Associated Sales & Leasing because of the excellent customer service and experience!

When I first walked in they treated me like a VIP. It did not matter if it was Matt, Ben, or Pete it was like being part of a family, which made it very easy to communicate to them what I was looking for. They were able to find two different trucks to look at in a very short time and were more than fair on my trade in. Anybody looking for an upgrade in their vehicle should give this dealership the opportunity to help find it for you. Overall great experience and I would especially like to thank Ben for finding the truck of my dreams.

What a wonderful experience we had with Matt and Ben! We were making a 2 hour drive to come look at a vehicle. Not only were the pictures of the vehicle accurate, but Matt spent the time on the phone to go over every last detail to ensure we were not disappointed when we arrived. My husband and I continue to shop at Associated Sales time after time. We have purchased 3 vehicles and they continue to service them as needed. Pete and Matt are very accommodating and even pick up our vehicle from my husbands work! By the time he leaves the car is there with whatever service completed. We are always greeted with a smile and have never been steered wrong. The guidance of the service department is very down to earth and knowledgable! I have purchased three vehicles over the past two years from ASL and each one has been a pleasant experience. Not only are they easy going and friendly during the sale but also go above and beyond after the sale. I have dealt with many dealers over the years but nothing compares to ASL in how they handle the sales transaction they are very professional, friendly, and easy going making it a much more enjoyable sales experience. They also go out of there way for service by arranging to pickup my vehicles while I am at work to get them into service which is such a huge convenience compared to taking time off of work to get service done in Wausau. I had a sunroof on a truck that was problematic and instead of turning me away to figure it out on my own they took the time and effort to have it corrected by a 3rd party service professional. The team at ASL are great and I look forward to working with them on future purchases, you wont be disappointed.

I saw the van I bought posted online. I was a little hesitant to proceed since the dealership was 2.5 hours from my house. I was able to discuss the van and pricing with Pete over the phone. He then offered to meet me half way to look at it in person and test drive it. The first thing Pete did when meeting was to point out things that weren't obvious in the online post (scratches, etc.). I found that very upfront. After the test drive I agreed to purchase the van and mentioned that I didn't think the back vents were working. Pete contacted me the next day to tell me that the vents were indeed not working, and that he already had the replacement part on order. He then told me that on his drive back from the test drive he noticed a tire was humming from being out of round. He had a replacement on order for that too (other tires only had a few miles on them so a single replacement was OK). As mentioned, this was AFTER I already signed for the vehicle. If that wasn't enough, Pete arranged to drop the vehicle off at my place of work in Green Bay. I never actually made it to the dealership. I was very impressed from start to finish with both Pete and the dealership he represented. I also love the van. I would highly recommend them to anyone, even if you don't live in the area.

I have never been treated with more respect. Matt and the team at Associated Sales and Leasing are outstanding! They go above and beyond for the customer! We recently went van shopping with 3 small children and had the best buying experience that we've ever had when buying a vehicle. They were honest and upfront about all of the details and pricing on the van we purchased and they were also efficient in getting us in and out while still being personable. We found that other dealerships tend to play games with numbers and seem to actually make the car buying experience stressful. But not so with Associated Sales and Leasing! Well I bought a Chrysler 300 from Matt almost 6 years ago already. I fell in LOVE with from the first time I seen it sitting there on the lot. I decided one day to go and check I out and just look at it. Matt came out to see if I would like to test drive it, which I was nervous to do, I knew that I already loved the vehicle and it was not a cheap vehicle so I was very scared of the payments, but I thought ok Ill take it for a drive, and my fear came true I loved it even more. So I sat down and talked with Matt and he let me know everything about the vehicle, also making sure that I was warned because it is a rear -wheel drive vehicle and I am a girl haha to make sure that I was aware of how it might handle in the winter. If you stop in and talk with him he will tell you, he still remembers me!!! I have ever since purchasing my vehicle taken it there for odds and ends maintance and repairs, and the body shop guys and JIm is fantastic people to work with. I also get a postcard every year if I am ready to upgrade. The car now has quite a few miles on her and a little few niks and bruises but still runs amazing, so until it stops running amazing I will keep driving her, but soon Matt I will be back to buy a new vehicle from you!! I also got my parents to start going through them and Matt if they were internet savvy they would have wrote on here too. So from them they love Both of their vehicles they have gotten from you. I must say I really like my Dads rover.

I recently had the pleasure of buying a 2012 Kia Optima from Matt at ASL. As a resident of Chicago, IL having a dependable car is a must. I needed a vehicle that I could fit in comfortably in and drive 30 traffic congested miles to work everyday. Matt made sure that he found me the right car at the right price. Since I am a taller gentleman, my number one concern was that I would not fit into my new car comfortably. This was compounded by the fact that I was not able to visit Marshfield before purchasing my vehicle. To put my hesitations at ease, Matt went out of his way to measure the leg room of my new car to make sure that I would have enough leg room. I have been a customer with Associated Sales and Leasing for a number of years now (4 vehicles purchased from them). I cannot say ENOUGH good things about Matt (the owner), Pete (the sales person), Jim (Service Department) and all the people who have serviced my vehicles over the years! I have been treated so well by anyone I have ever had contact with at Associated! Matt and Pete have gone ABOVE and BEYOND during my purchases with them, and I have ALWAYS gotten a really good deal. It's actually a very enjoyable and fun experience purchasing vehicles at Associated Sales and Leasing! How often do you hear that critique regarding a car dealership???!!! They make you want to come back and visit them....honestly they do!!! I actually look forward to when I have to go in for service just so I can visit with them for a few minutes!! Hello. I am Pat and my wife is Patty. Live in southeast Iowa (Donnellson) 300 miles away from Matt's dealership. We have been looking for a 1999 suburban for sometime to replace the one we lost in a fire 5 yrs. ago. Could not find any close. I hate dealing with car salesman and smoke they blow up your you know what. So when I buy something like this far away I go off of other peoples reviews and their experiences they have had. From all the suburban's on the net. it came down to two in Wisconsin. ASL in Marshfield and Lenz in Fond Du Loc. Both 1999 suburban's were nice that each dealer had. Thanks for reviews I went with ASL in Marshfield. I was leery even of the reviews. All 5 stars none below that. But after buying from Matt's ASL you realize all the 5 star reviews are right on. On our 6 1/2 hour return trip home ,approximately 6 1/2 hours after we left ASL, we received a phone call from Matt to see if we were ok or home yet. Matt my Chicago Bears hat is off to you and all the staff I met at ASL.

I was searching for a late model Toyota Tacoma and searched cars.com for a 200 mile radius from my home. I found a 2008 with fewer than 38,000 miles at Associated Sales & Leasing and completed an online inquiry. Pete called me right away the next morning and answered my questions about the truck. Considering the distance between me and the dealer (about 150 miles) he offered to meet roughly half way. It worked out that my sister lived in the town he suggested so we met at her place. The truck was exactly as described, that is, like it had just been driven off the showroom floor. Pete was pleasant, and while clearly a good salesman, was not pushy or overbearing. I've only had the truck a short time so it's too early to say how it will work out in the long run, but all indications are that I got a very fair deal and the buying experience was great!

Bottom line you absolutely get your moneys worth when you deal with Matt and his crew! And better, more genuine people would be very hard to find indeed. Our truck was getting up there in miles and years and we thought we might as well start looking so we could get an idea of what was out there and what prices were like. Our friend had bought a truck from them and was very pleased about the purchase so my husband and I decided to drive through the lot just to see. We were both relieved that there wasn't a salesman hovering nor were there a bunch of salesmen standing around ignoring us either which seems to be the way it is a lot of times at other places we've stopped to window shop. We looked at two different trucks, read the stickers, and were talking to each other when someone came asked if we would like to test drive it. That's it, no boasting of how great it was, no hey we are having the best sale or any of the other pressure/annoying stuff we were expecting, just would we like to take her for a spin. We weren't planning on it but we said yes. Wow it was such a smooth ride we even took it home to see if it would fit in the garage! Like I said our truck was old with high mileage and driving the 2011 Chevy Silverado was a difference of night and day. It was so nice we were both sure that there was no way we could afford it but it is always nice to dream. When we got back to the dealership I felt like we should at least see what they had to say since we did test drive it. We certainly weren't expecting to actually buy the truck that day. Matt took us through the whole process, he was so patient and professional and kind and Honest - even showed us the paper work of what they paid at auction and what they had spent on the truck since. We are still amazed by how we were treated. He treated us like we mattered not as a sale but as people. He spent way after quitting time on a Saturday, even buying us lunch, going over everything with us to make sure that this truck met our needs and fit our life and that we were happy. He took the time to go over different options on payments such as trade in values, no trade in, money down, no money down etc. He never made us feel rushed, never made us feel like we were a bother in anyway- even when we asked the same questions over and over again. For us it was a huge major purchase and Matt understood that and really made sure we felt in control and comfortable. We firmly believe that Matt and his team at Associated Sales and Leasing must be the best kept secret in Marshfield because we cant imagine why anyone would go anywhere else. Today 6/11/13 is a month that we have had the truck and I still feel like pinch me this cant possibly be my truck! We are just so grateful to Matt and his team. My husband has taken his work truck to Associated for an oil change and he was impressed by how he was treated and by how fast he was in and out even though they took the time to tell him what maintenance was recommended. They sure keep on top of things! And even if you didn't buy your vehicle from them they will pick up your vehicle and bring it back to you once they perform service on it, oil change or whatever needs to be done. I just took my truck in to be detailed last Saturday as someone was spray painting on a windy day and some of the paint got on the truck. The detail man was simply wonderful! The truck looks fantastic and feels so smooth! I cant recommend Matt and his team enough, you really wont be sorry! We haven't had a second of buyers remorse, in fact we feel so blessed to have found somewhere we can take all of our vehicles that will take care of us!

I purchased a used Nissan Pathfinder at Associated Sales from Matt. The price was great and Matt was great to work with. Shortly after purchasing it, we started to have problems with the cruise control. Associated worked and worked on the problem, all the while they provided me with a rental car to use while they figured out what was wrong. It turned out to be a bad transmission, which they replaced for me. They went above and beyond in order to make sure my car was working.

I have worked with Matt and he can get you pretty much any car you want at a price thats lower than any other dealership. I just have to put up with his sense of humor or lack there of. haha. After buying over the years 4 vehicles from ASL and having all our service performed there, I can not say enough positive about this place. I bought a Ford Mustang from Associated Sales and Leasing, Pete Lotzer was great to work with. He was very patient and knowledgeable and the environment was not one of high pressure sales. It was a "hassle-free" experience, like buying a car from a friend. This purchase was a surprise for my husband and Pete helped make it an over the top special experience. They pride themselves on only offering the cleanest cars on their lot and it's true their vehicles are in exceptional condition. When it came to purchasing our next family vehicle we did a lot of research on the internet and drove through a number of lots to see our options. We have always been happy with the service work that we have had completed at Associated Sales and Leasing over the years. We were equally impressed when starting to look for our next vehicle with the options that Associated Sales and Leasing had on their lot/website. The staff took the time to listen to what we were looking for in our next vehicle and why certain things were important to our family. We were encouraged to drive multiple SUV's to assure we were making an informed decision and best decision for our family. The staff were very knowledgeable about each of the vehicles. When we narrowed our search down Matt encouraged us to take the vehicle home overnight to better familiarize ourselves with it to assure it would work for our family. When it came to discussing price Associated Sales and Leasing prices were very competitive with other dealerships in the area, however, ASL's vehicles tended to have more options with their vehicles. After the purchase they also took the time to educate us about the differenct features and set it up. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Buying was easy and there was no pressure from the sales associate. They had a great mix of vehicles to choose from and had the specific vehicle I wanted (Chevrolet Traverse) in Ruby Red. I was able to take the vehicle home for a test drive overnight, and upon return we were able to quickly agree on a final price. The trade in of our Saturn was fair and seamless. Upon pick up, the sales associate was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and explained all of the features of my SUV. He also provided a tour of their service center and introduced me to their team. I have used their service center for the basics like oil changes and tire rotation. The service center offers, and I have taken advantage of free pick up and return of my vehicle from my place of employment for the work they perform. All of the people I have been in contact with at Associated have been extremely friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend this dealer to any of my friends.

We were looking for a mini-van on Cars.com and found two that we were interested in. One was from Associated and another was a model from another dealer. We e-mailed Associated via Cars.com. Matt replied to us and we set up a date to look at the car. When we first meet car salesmen we are On guard and watch for the curve ball. Once we talked to Matt and he explained things in terms that we could understand, we felt better. We felt that Matt was truly honest with us and that we could trust him with what he promised. He conscientiously answered all of our concerns. He also said he would work with us on some options that we wanted to add. The van was, by the way, in excellent shape. None the less, we also wanted to check out the other van found at another lot. The van was also very nice. They were going to give us less for a trade in and when showing them numbers from several used car guides they gave us the old I have to ask the manager, and then the manager said I have to ask our district manager etc.. well get back to you. When we asked them about some options, it was strictly our cost and no negotiating room. Actually this make of van did not meet some of our requirements, one being carrying a recumbent tandem inside for travel. We talked about it and decided that the van at Associated best fit our needs and arranged to meet with Matt again. Again, Matt was wonderful to work with and gave us straight answers and was able to compromise with us. Matts humor and openness made our car shopping an enjoyable experience. Thanks again. We have purchased the last 3 of our cars here. They guys are great... during the sale as well as after. If there is an issue they bend over backwards to help in any way they can. Even rescuing me once on a Saturday morning (a panicked female) when the car had an issue more than a year after purchase! They pick up my car from where I work when it needs routine service and deliver it back! As a busy employee I really appreciate that kind of customer service. They know who we are when we call and are always available to assist. I could not ask for a better car dealer/ repair shop. A big thank you to all the guys there! Every car we ever need to buy will be purchased and serviced here. We had though this kind of service had disappeared... we found the best at Associated :)

You can take anything that Matt and his crew tell you to the bank. They stand behind what they sell and the service they provide. The cars that I've purchased have all been exactly as represented. I've found that the service department has often found ways to save money. I recently thought that I needed heater parts. The service manager found a service bulletin that said to reprogram the computer. I was charged a lot less than I expected. Whenever my wife or I visit ASL, we are treated like friends.

These guys are great. We found our Toyota online, called to make an appointment the next day, and closed the deal that day. The guy at Associated Sales and Leasing are helpful, respectful, trustworthy, and just great to do business with. They are honesty and will go out of there way to serve you. I don't think i've ever dealt with a car dealership quite like this!! Will definitely do business with again!!!

We felt valued by the staff at Associated Sales. They sell quality cars and make sure they are ready to go before they are driven off of the lot. We love our vehicle from them and bought it for a great price. They also got us a better interest rate than our bank was able to give.
