I bought a used car at the auffenberg in Belleville, il. on 10/30/16. they say they do a 120 point inspection..well, i'm driving down the road a week later and the skid plate falls off and drags the road. I took it to the service department, being a mechanic for 20 years I could tell they were incompetent as xxxx. I really didn't want them touching my car. He said he would talk to the manager and get the parts ordered and call me when they came in. I got a call and he said it was my fault they cant put a skid plate back on right and i'm responsible for buying it. I wouldn't spend another nickel there..buyers beware, STAY AWAY FROM AUFFENBERG!!

On October 26 2016 I took my 2015 SHO in for Auto Butler treatment and when I picked it up a significant ding was reported on the right rear fender.Prior to that there wasn't, a mark on the car. I was informed that they were not able to schedule repair until November 14. I find this visit totally unacceptable. The additional service required was due to Quality of workmanship. It was not a problem until I took it to the dealer.

LOVE that I am able to get routine service such as oil changes or tire rotations done in the evening or on Saturday! I work long hours in St Louis and getting things like an oil change was a hassle. Found out that Auffenberg started evening and Saturday hours for routine service items. I can either drop off and go to dinner and come back or wait in the waiting room. I have done both----sometimes working on wifi while I wait. Josh the service advisor is terrific. Just wish Auffenberg promoted these great hours more so that more people knew they wee available.

Purchased 2008 Lincoln (used). Car stopped running less than 24 hrs, Auffenberg will not fix the vehicle even though I purchased the best warranty offered. I am DISABLED VET AND A SENIOR CITIZEN. I don't have money to fix the car.

I stopped into Affenberg in Belleville IL to look and see what type of vehicles they may have, and if they would have any in my price range. I was greeted by Brandon Rea, who was very nice and funny. We discussed what I wanted out of a car or SUV, I was looking for a SUV (at first) we looked at the lot he was on first and nothing seemed to fit what I wanted, so he took me over to their other lot to look there, by this time it started to rain. He got us an umbrella (he had gotten wet mostly so I didn't) and on this lot I found my car no it was not a SUV but I fell in love with a Cadillac STS it had everything I wanted with a few extras. And I also was able to get it under my budget, Brandon was great the whole time as well as the rest of the staff, when I noticed a missing wiper on the car they replaced the missing one and changed the other one. I received a follow up called the next day from Brandon asking how I was liking the car, which was really nice. Had a great experience!! And love my car!!

my husband an I purchased a Ford Explorer sport track from auffenburg. We bought the highest warranty you could get. I didn't want anything happening down the road and not being able to fix it. So we go the expense warranty. They said his wheel bearings were loose. So we went ahead and sent it up to get fixed. It was $100 deductible. Sounds fine. Then they tell us that the nuts on the wheels need a key to come off( we bought it there, no one said anything about any key) they charged us over $300 to take off the nuts. Not including the deductible.

This was the best car buying experience I've had to date. It was laid back, no pressure. My salesman, Ricky Greer was nice, personable and funny. He made me feel very at ease. They got me a reasonable payment and when I got back to financing, Mark Chapman surprised me with the news that my payment was going to be even cheaper!!! From start to finish, it was great and I will buy from there again and would highly recommend Auffenberg Ford to everyone.

My fiance and I went to Aufenberg Ford in Belleville, IL to look at a Chevy Cobalt I found online and set up an appointment to test drive. Once I arrive to the dealership my senses told me the place was sketchy. I walk in to meet with a salesman about the car. A salesman asked me what car was it and another workerwho was nearby said the car had been sold the evening before. This made no sense because I called the afternoon before to set up a test drive. So he says he will be back to go and check. When he come back he says it hasn't been sold but it is in service (needed fixing). That didn't make sense to me when they told me it was available the day before to test drive. Well, this was about the 3rd red flag when I decided I didn't want to do business with them. My fiance talked me into looking around to see their options. They didn't have many of my interest. The Salesman told me I still had the option to get the Chevy once it was fixed. I would be an idiot to get that Chevy. Moving forward, I found a red Ford Fusion and black Ford Focus. I wanted to test drive them both. I test drove the fusion first, I liked it. I asked to test the black focus next and he said they had to unlock the car because the keys had gotten locked in the car. Time later after waiting he says "well to be honest (with a smile) we had to give it a jump the other day. It had cut off." 4th flag!! I asked him what else was he hiding. If I bought the red fusion I tested what would be wrong with it, it seemed it was something wrong with every car there. Then, I decided I would buy the red fusion. I went back to the dealership the next day to get it. After majority of paper work was done I met with the finance guy Bill. We signed paper work and things were finalized. Well atleast I thought they were. I get letters from the loan company about the loan, which said I didn't get it for some reason. I called Bill the finance guy and asked about it. (It was hard to get in touch with him), I had to relay message after message and he finally returned my call. He said that we had to do a WHOLE new contract for the loan. Something must have went wrong within the negotiating between Bill and the loan company. I told bill i only had two days out of the week I could make it up there. Due to other priorities, my fiance and I could not make it until the following week. I called on that Tuesday to see if he would be there and he was not in that day. So I left a message with someone to let him know I could not come in until Thursday. He called back saying in a nutshell that I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE but to come in on that Wednesday or we did not have a deal. However, paper work was eventually signed. Two and a half weeks later I received another phone call about needing to sign MORE paper work because of a mistake by the guy handling our financing.OVERALL REVIEW: I'll give a 2.5 out of 5 rating on service. And a 2.5 on business. I felt overly pressured by the salesmen and he showed frustration as I made up my mind on my decision. The finance person could have been more on top of the loan portion. Be carful and pay close detail to the car because they may try to see you one that will need service the next day. There are other GREAT car dealerships in which I recommend giving a try first.

In my line of work I have been to many dealerships in that past five years, most all of the customer service at these places were acceptable to say the least. During this whole buying process today, I felt like my business really mattered. I was treated with the most respect from the moment that I walked in the door at Auffenberg Bellville, until the time I was handed my keys to my new 2016 Ford Fusion SE. The salesman, Charlie, was very exceptional, very professional, and very understanding taking the time to make sure that I understood each and every step of this buying process. The gentleman that handled the financing part of the buy was also very professional and very helpful. He too made sure that I understood each step in this process. Charlie was there with me almost the whole time. The one thing that really touched me was, I have C.O.P.D. and it was really warm this day; Charlie is not a young man either, he is an awesome Christian as well. He began to transfer everything out of my old car into my new one. Soon he had help from one or two others, I have not seen this type of team work at any other dealer, this Christian act touched my heart. Mr. Auffenberg, you have one heck of a team at the Bellville Dealership, I hope that you are as proud of these people as I am. Thank you for all of your help Bellville I had a truly awesome experience today.

The salesman was very helpful. However, the car had a horrific smell and looked very dirty. I was surprised this car was allowed to be on the car lot. I was not able to find a car in my price range, but the salesman said he would call when something became available. I have not heard from the dealership in over a week. Not sure I was truly satisfied with this dealership.

We went to the O'Fallon location looking for a specific car from the website, when we got their it was in service. The salesman quickly tried to get us too look at other cars, (one of which my husband who has a degree in automotive technology refused to test drive stating the brakes were in such poor shape it wasn't even safe to drive) stating the one we wanted to see had 6 owners and basically wanted to talk us out of the car. We humored him and looked at a couple other cars. We find another car on the Belleville lot we wanted to look at, we met him down at that lot test drove the car. We were interested in the car we to negotiate and of course we manged to pick one of the 10% of the cars on the lot that they didn't have any "wiggle room" on. The car was listed online at $8888, it was not worth even close to that, the antenna was broke off, the power mirror adjustment didn't work, it had several imperfections on the body, it had 10,000 miles over average as it was a prior rental car and had been in a previous accident. We were ok with all of that, but were negoating the price based on that and the research on the car's value we had done. The salesman finally agreed to take out offer to the sales manager after stating "he could us a good laugh". He then come's back with the "invoice" of what they paid for the car and stated they didn't normally show this to customers. According to the invoice they paid $6000ish for the car at auction and did around $2000 work of work on the car (with everything we found wrong I don't see how that was possible). He them claimed the service center was union and those guys don't work without getting paid, I tried to confirm that they were in fact union with the service and was unable too. Also the salesman then attempted to tell us his O'Fallon lot had better quality cars and we should pick something from that lot. It's all the same dealership why would you say something negative about one of your other locations? In the end we were able to find the same car in almost new condition, 10,000 less miles, no accident, and one owner. and a year newer at a competitors dealership for the same price as Auffenberg's asking price.

My salesman was Jeremy McCarn on the used car side. I went in asking for complete honesty and transparency and that is exactly what I got. My husband and I have bought many cars in our life - all of them from other Ford Dealers and all of them were Fords except one. We have always used the same dealer. We took a chance on Belleville and so glad we did. We had our best experience yet. I can only speak for Jeremy, but he took care of us quickly and honestly!! I have definitely spread the word too. Blake Combs, Express Service Advisor, did a great job of giving me all the information up front and keeping everything at (under) the cost he quoted and got the work done on the timeframe I was told. My only recommendation would be to clarify with the customer which location (physical address), as I thought my appointment was at Auffenberg Ford, while it was actually at Auffenberg Ford--just not the same one.

My first visit into the dealership went a little rough because I was expecting to be met by the VIP manager and was not. However, my salesman, Brandon Young more than made up by providing one of the best car buying experiences I have had. He knew the products backwards and forward and was motivated to get me the exact vehicle I wanted at a fair price. I wanted a Mustang with certain options with a rare color and he found exactly what I was looking for. He did not try to get me to settle for what was in dealer stock. Instead he researched dealership stock in the surrounding area and got me what I wanted; a 2016 Mustang GT, competition orange with all the bells and whistles. When visiting Auffenberg, ask for Brandon, he will take care of you.

I didn't think that I would be able to get financed, as my credit isn't the best. But George at the Belleville location worked hard to get me financed, with a payment that I can afford. When I went to go pick up the vehicle, I had my 1 and 3 year old with me, and they weren't on their best behavior, but the staff was so understanding and patient with them.

Great service, excellent salesman. Only thing I was disappointed with is I ask 3 times to have my brakes looked at because they are grinding and they refused said the car was fine. Its still under warranty so I didn't see what the problem would be to have them looked at??!

My experience with Auffenberg Belleville was great. They offer a variety of quality inventory for customers to choose from. The salesman did not try to SELL me a car, instead, he showed me my options for the budget I expressed, allowed me to choose what I wanted, and guided me through the BUYING process. We appreciate all Dustin did for us. He made us feel welcome and comfortable with the buying process. Since we found out the car lacked cruise control, something we really needed, he worked it into the deal to have it installed for us. We appreciated his honesty and integrity and staying with us to the end, even though we were still taking care of insuring the car long after hours. Spent all day at Auffenberg looking for a new vehicle. I had a very limited time to find a new car and a limited budget. They worked with me very well and got me into a vehicle I never thought I could have been able to afford. My wife and I had fully intended to go to your Belleville location to "look" at a car for my daughter who had had her license for no more than 2 weeks. We were going to walk in, look around, get some paperwork and take that information to our credit union. We were not, not, not going to buy. George Goscinski was very quick and gracious to help us in this process. We found out quickly that George had the ability to run our paperwork through the credit union we wanted to do business with. For me that meant one less trip and conversation. Cutting to the chase, we found the car we wanted the next morning and at 4:30 that very afternoon we totally surprised my daughter with her first car. I would definitely do business with Auffenberg again, with zero hesitations. George was great. The financing department was great. We never felt as if we were being "sold." On 7-27-15, at 7am, my day started off on a bad note. While attempting to drive my vehicle from Sauget, Illinois to St. Louis, Missouri, upon approaching the Popular Street Bridge, I began hearing a loud, grinding noise. Being afraid of having a break down in crowded traffic or an automobile accident, I immediately responded to the Rt. 3 Fuel & Lottery gas station. I then requested a tow to go to the Auffenberg Service Station in Belleville, Illinois, my favorite place, because they always do good work there. When my tow truck arrived at 8am, I contacted Auffenberg's Service Department and spoke with Mr. Josh Willmont, Service Advisor, informing him of my problem and relaying the fact that I'm in route to Auffenberg with the vehicle. Although I was frustrated, Mr. Willmont eased my frustration by being so nice and stating that they would be happy to assist me in any way possible and check out my vehicle. He was truly genuine and knowledgeable about my problem and it didn't take him long to diagnose it. He also assisted me in obtaining a rental vehicle to handle my affairs while my vehicle was being repaired. I was truly grateful when Mr. Shaun Stinnett, Auffenberg's Finance Manager, took time out of his busy schedule to speak with me regarding my vehicle repairs and also offered his assistance if needed. He's always professional and "customer satisfaction" is important to him. Mr. Stinnett and Mr. Willmont are a perfect team! I consider them as Auffenberg's "A" Team! My day could've been a total disaster, but thanks to them...it wasn't! I notice that Mr. Stinnett works well with the Service Department. I remember once before, sometime this year, he worked together with "Tiffany" in the Service Department and they handled a problem regarding my vehicle. I'll reiterate, "customer satisfaction" is important to him! I'm telling all my family and friends about the great service I always receive at Auffenberg! Really, you can't go wrong with Auffenberg Ford in Belleville!

My mistake I signed the paperwork and the car was in the shop I was told that there was minor issues like spark plug pads that needed to be replaced. Even got the word of Jeff Haynes who is the general manager of preowned that everything would be taken care of!!! So, finally I received the car and the peice of xxxx wouldn't turn over. Now, the a/c went out and it seems as if it doesn't want to turn over again!!! My experience has been horrible and it seems a mans word doesn't mean anything anymore!!!

Took my van in on a Monday morning to have it serviced. The brakes locked up and pulling into my driveway the tires were billowing smoke!Due for 9 month maintenance so perfect timing.....so you would think.They had the van for 2 1/2 days, drove it 75 miles and end result tell me they can find nothing wrong with it (even though I was told brake pads and routers were shot to xxxx and they were only 7 months old)Told that my warranty would not cover the repairs only because they couldn't figure out how it happen in the first place. Given a reason they would have covered all of it.So I am out $400 for repairs that should have been covered, 75 extra miles on the van for no reason (they drove it from Belleville all the way to New Baden!) and am returned the van with the E light on no gas to be had in the tank.All they could say was "I so apologize you can drive back up here and well put a few gallons in"How the xxxx am I suppose to drive up there ON FUMES!!!If I could sell the vehicle and buy a new one tomorrow from another dealer I would be out shopping tonight just to break lose of Auffenberg.

My son was looking for a newer used car and found one on the internet at the Belleville location that he was very excited about. I called about the car at about 9:45am, was told the car was still available, and set up an appointment for him to test drive with the intention of buying the car at noon. He drove 45 minutes to get there and was told the car was picked up by someone else 15 minutes before he got there. He was instructed to look around the lot to see if there was anything else he liked. I called the person I originally spoke to and of course she was not available and a manager was supposed to call me back. Still waiting.... Interestingly enough, 2 years ago the exact same thing happened at the same dealership. We had found a Caliber on the internet that we were really interested in, called about it, jumped in our car and headed there. But it was sold the night before, and we were told to look around. At the time I thought it was just a mix-up, but now I'm not so sure. We will not be back, there are plenty of other dealerships that would like to sell their cars too.

I needed a simple estimate on my brand new car as someone hit me and drove off. I expected some outrageous price with no explanation. Immediately when i arrived in the service dept. The service department at Auffenberg Ford in Belleville went above-and-beyond to ensure that I was a satisfied customer. I had an issue with my vehicle that had been serviced at another location. The other location was unable to replicate the issue each time that I mentioned it. I decided to take the vehicle to Auffenberg Ford in Belleville. The mechanics in the service department quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered and replaced the defective part and returned the vehicle to me within a day. The service adviser kept me informed throughout the day of the progress. When I arrived to pick it up, I was surprised to learn that Auffenberg Ford had completed the repair at no cost to me under my warranty.

hi my name is Rick I purchased a vehicle from auffenberg Ford On February 24th 2015 since then I have not been able to receive the proper paperwork needed to register the vehicle in the state of Missouri as of March 24th 2015 the temp tag expired leaving me with no vehicle to drive to and from work. also I am now under registration penalties and Missouri sales tax penalties I talked to manager Mike Murphy about the situation with no results or answers so far to the vehicles title I should have kept my beautiful trade in vehicle which I was also not giving proper worth.my conclusion is the vehicle never should have been sold without proper paperwork..

I made the drive to Belleville from St. Louis because they had a car in which I was interested listed on a web-site. It was a car I had been considering and it was at a very competitive price. I got there and was immediately greeted and was test driving the car within about 5 minutes of walking in the door. My sales rep, Bob Evans, was very friendly and pretty knowledgeable about the car even though it's not a brand they market new. We got back, I made an offer and we negotiated a little bit. The advertised price was really close to our final agreement and I was very satisfied. Everyone was polite, professional and genuinely friendly. I had an engagement to get to and they did everything within their power to get me through the paperwork quickly. They even beat the extremely competitive loan rate I had from my credit union. Everything about the experience was pleasant. It was a 40 minute drive from my house, but it was definitely worth the time.

Had a problem with my 2013 F250 Super Duty. The service manager Mr. Gary Holtgrave and service advisor Kevin Quale worked with me to understand the problem and recommend a course of action. When the problem was identified Gary explained that it was in fact a warranty issue- motor mounts. It was a very sizeable job. I checked in on several afternoons and Paul (the mechanic) explained exactly what was going on. The work was perfect and Auffenburg covered 99% of the cost. I was listened to, treated fairly, and was kept in the loop. I will remain a committed Ford customer and would recommend the Belleville dealership to anyone looking to purchase a Ford.

I found a truck on their website and called them about it. I was very interested in the truck and went ahead and had them run my credit. They told me I was approved and I made an appointment to meet with Mike Murphy the next morning to take care of business. I live 2 hours away from Belleville and my wife called when we left to tell them we would be a little late. We where told fine see you in a little while. We get there and are told Mike Murphy just left but some 20 year old salesman would show it to me. About fifteen minutes later he comes back to me and says that truck sold last night. Are you kidding me! We drove 4 hours for nothing. Called to talk to the head manager twice and was told he would call back. Still waiting on that call. Mike Murphy did call me back and made up a bunch of excuses and told me he would make it right on another truck. He sends me pictures and prices on 3 different trucks and none of them were in any way near being a "deal". If they will do it to me they will do it to you. BEWARE!

I am glad i did my homework. I researched dealerships online within 100 mile radius comparing inventory selecton, prices, etc. I decided to drive to Auffenberg in Belleville and I am glad I did. They gave me the deal that I wanted on the exact car that I had been looking for without any hassle. I was driving a Kia sportage that I bought new in 2010. It was not as fuel efficient as I wanted, plus it was not very easy to get around in the snow and ice in it. (Not 4-wheel drive.) So after getting stuck in my driveway four times last winter I knew I needed to trade it off. I came into Auffenberg to look at some cars I saw on their website. The salesperson I worked with was Jermaine Hornberger, and he was extremely helpful. I would not hesitate to say that he is the best salesperson I have ever worked with for anything. He spent a lot of time with me and was very helpful and patient and did his best to get me a really great deal. Go see him if you need a car. My fiance and I drove out to Auffenberg in Belleville, IL from St.Louis, Mo to look at a Nissan Versa. We get there and the first thing I notice is the driver door was not shut right. The door was damaged, bent and the hinges were broken. We were still willing to buy the car but for a lower price or with a fixed door. The salesman was nice about it and went in to talk to the GM. The GM would not even come out to talk to us about the issue after we asked the salesman to have him come out. The GM would not lower the price, nor work with us. They told us that someone else will buy the car. I was one very unhappy with the service and two, did not feel comfortable with a dealership that was ready to sell a damaged car to an unknown customer. They did not really try to find us something else or work with us after the fact. I would NOT recommend this dealership to ANYBODY.

I must admit I was angry with Auffenberg and Ford at the beginning of this mess, but they went out their way to help me. They earned my business. I traded in the Ford for another car. I have never traded in a vehicle before and they made it all too easy. I didnt have to do anything. And then helped me get into the truck I wanted for the price I wanted. It was an amazing experience and they have definitely set the standard for car dealerships every where.

What a great experience. I had no idea that a person could be treated so well at a dealership. They went above and beyond. I was treated as if I had bought a car from them on a regular basis. I was treated like I was a personal family member. I know this sounds far fetched. This is very true. I am recommending anyone that are interested in purchasing a vehicle (new or used), go here first. You won't be dissapointed.

Auffenberg in Belleville does it right. I had a great buyig experience with Auffenberg and would highly recommend you go in and speak with Kelsie Ahring. Great to deal with, walked me thru my options with the sales process. They also took care of me after I left with the car, I found it was pulling to the right. Kelsie worked with me to get an alignment scheduled at their expense. They really try to make it right. I will defintely purchase from Auffenberg and Kelie again.

So my wife goes in with her father and I to purchase a used vehicle - we are shown 2 cars - my wife tests drive both, and decides on the one she wants. While her father and her are in with the salesman doing the deal (full purchase that day - no financing) the car is taken and washed up and gotten ready for her to drive home. Well long story short - they had masked a problem on the back drivers side door that during cleaning had all come off. After we purchased the car and are getting in the car - we notice that two(durogatory words) had been keyed into the door. We showed the salesman and I he acknowledges issue and we talk about how to resolve. He is in hurry to get to a wedding so we do not finish conversation that day. i call him on Tuesday 3 days later and he informs me to have wife bring car in on Friday to get resolved. Wife takes car in on Friday they take car to have paint team look at it - then they come and report they want us to pay the repair fee (OVER $800). This is unacceptable - our salesman tries to find sales manager - he is no where to be found. My wife has to leave and come back later that day- when she comes back she is basically told by the sales manager that they will not repair - and as my wife is trying to talk to him - he tells her "I don't have time to deal with this right now" he gets in his car and just leaves the lot. This is no way to treat a customer Then I try to call and talk to the used sales managers supervisor - to file a complaint about how rude that he was to my wife, and their phone screener would not allow me to talk to him to file the complaint. She wanted to take the complaint so she could get it to the proper person, but would not allow me to talk to the supervisor. Know where that complaint would have ended up (the circular bin) - guess I am going to have to make a personal trip myself to try to deal with this.

I had been looking for a new or used vehicle for awhile. I had been comparing prices and vehicles from different dealerships. I kept coming back to the Auffenberg site, they have the best selections. I couldn't make up my mind on what vehicle I really wanted but had it narrowed down to 5 total. When I had spoke with Rick on the website and Tony on the phone they said that was no problem..when my husband and I went down to the store unfortunately the cars I had chose were not there. Tony said no problem we will drive over to where they are at..and I'll drive. Tony was the best, he is very down to earth, very people friendly. I found the car I wanted and drove it home the same day. I would and will highly recommend Auffenberg to my friends, family, and even coworkers. And I will tell them to ask for TONY GREER ,, he is the man to see!!! Thank you Tony for everything :)

I found a vehicle that I wanted to buy via an external website's search engine. This vehicle happened to be located on an Auffenberg car lot. I went to the dealer with my trade (title in hand) and my checkbook to buy the vehicle.During the negotiation I made an offer, I received a counter offer, I accepted that offer in writing, I moved my stuff from my trade to the vehicle I had under contract, and then I was hit with a large hidden fee. The salesman told me that it was something that he had forgotten to add in and asked me to sign for the new higher price. Only 30 minutes earlier the salesman had told me that the counter offer price was from the sales manager so I was confused as to how this could be his mistake. I loudly told the salesman that this was a purchase greater than $500, that such a purchase required a written agreement, that we had just signed that legal agreement, and that I could technically call the Sheriff's Dept. to have it enforced (not commonly done, but the issue does fall under the county magistrate). The issue went away.All in all I spent the course of two afternoons and 5 hours at the dealership; 4 hours were spent sitting in an old building with limited amenities (two water fountains, old office chairs, and a bathroom) and nothing to do but watch traffic drive by.The script that I heard during actual negotiations was the same script I heard from Auffenberg Mazda 5 days earlier and from Auffenberg Nissan 2 weeks earlier. The salesman had just gotten further along through it the third time when I finally bought a vehicle. This tells me that the insidious last minute price bump sales team tactic probably is part of Auffenburg's sales team training program.If all things are equal, I do not recommend buying a vehicle from Auffenburg based on an advertised price. The Auffenberg lot that I purchased from advertises 'true car'/'one price' type pricing. That price is only there to get a customer on the lot and should not be trusted at face value.I like the vehicle that I bought and it's not its fault that it just so happened to be on an Auffenberg lot. If its twin existed on a competitor's lot, I would have left to go buy it (not really feasible since the dealership held the keys to my trade hostage during my second extended stay at the dealership). I don't plan on ever stepping foot on an Auffenberg dealership again since the vehicle I bought was an older low mileage model without warranty... there was no commitment from the dealer beyond a full tank of gas after the sale.

My parents and I just recently purchased a Jeep from Ford. We got Justin as our car salesman and we knew he would get the job done. He spent a while looking for the perfect car or SUV for me. He was so patient with, but my favorite quality was that he was honest. He didn't try to take our money. He made sure that I was in the best vehicle for the money we were willing to spend. I recently bought a truck at auffenberg. I liked the truck but it was a little high for my price range but I worked with them on it. I had the truck for 2 days before I really started to look at the mech side of things. But it blew me away to find out that it didn't have a complete exhaust system. I took it back to them as Illinois law required all exhaust have be complete. They turned me around sending me out the door saying that it was not their problem anymore and I would have to pay for them to fix it. How do u sell a truck that is not street legal and then tell the buyer it's the buyers problem?

Contacted the dealer and he told me the salesman to ask for. When I got there I asked for him and then waited. Finally told he was sent somewhere else. left dealership for another dealer, and then came back to give it another shot. Was told there was someone else that I was to speak to, but he could not be found also, so a younger salesman helped out but did not really know the vehicle too well. The vehicle had a non stock radio that didn't work and the center consul was loose. Not a way to make a vehicle to look appealing.

We bought a used truck on Saturday evening that had a 30 day 1000 mile warranty & the next day my husband was cleaning the truck & noticed that the bed liner was basically just a rubber temporary liner that was thrown in to cover up a big rusty hole in the bed. We took the truck back to the dealer on Monday & told them we wouldnt have bought the truck if we had known it was like that & we were told that they would replace the entire bottom of the bed of the truck. On Wednesday, my husband got in it & it wouldnt start, after several tries he finally got it to start & went back to the dealer. They "reprogramed the anti theft system" & said it was good to go. That same evening we took the truck out & every time we turned it off we had problems getting it started. My husband took it back to the dealer on Thursday & told them we were done with the truck & no longer wanted it.He found another vehicle on the lot that was only a couple hundred dollars more than the price of the first truck & the salesman (Tony Greer) said that we could definately make that deal if it would keep us happy since we were long time loyal customers of Auffenberg. After they left my husband sittiing for several hours while "trying to make the deal work" I left work to go find out what the problem was. When I got there I was told by the sales manager (Mike Murphy) that the truck that we paid $12,000 for on Saturday was now worth $8000 on Thursday & that the deal could not be voided & he would have to treat it as a trade in. So basically they sold us a piece of overpriced junk & had no intention of doing the right thing. We had bought several brand new cars from Auffenberg in the past but will never do business with them again after having the worst car buying experience of our lives. These people are where the used car salesman cliche comes from.

Lee Cook was very helpful in finding the F150 that I wanted. When using the USAA car buying program, of the three dealerships that initially contacted me, Belleville Ford was the only one that really took the extra time to do a follow-up with me from the auto generated emails that you get from each dealership when you use USAA. Although they didn'th have the F150 FX4 on the lot that I wanted, Lee kept working the length of the state to find the vehicle I wanted. Once he found it, we worked a price that I was happy with and then drove from Springfield, IL to pick it up. We waited a little longer than I wanted to see the finannce manager but once in his office he was very informative and walked us thru all the financing information. I would recommend my other military friends to use this dealership and work with Lee Cook when using the USAA Car Buying Service.

As far as service to someone that can buy 2 autos at the price we had gotten, I thought they made us stick around for nothing. We could have gone home and finished the deal the next day. They said the computers went down. How many times have you heard that in the 21st century? Not many. And the financing rate was like we were being raped. I will refinance at the soonest opportunity as Ford is the biggest ripoff scheme in the midwest. 3.85? Well we will see after 3 months of paying their crap if I can refinance with our bank or our insurance company at a rate which will be at least .5 percent lower guaranteed already. So I will make our 36 month loan a 30 month loan at the same price. So I will be saving 3 months of this crap we were dealt.

Brad Meyers was our salesman. He was excellent in all areas: Friendly, Helpful, Patient, and he listened to what we wanted. I was going to start looking for a "New Vehicle" I knew basically what I wanted it was the Ford Explorer. I bought a 2003 Mazda 6 from Auffenberg's Econo Corner. 4 days after I drove it off the lot the engine light came on. When I returned for service they kept my car for 3 days, put almost 100 miles on it, ran all the gas out of it and claimed it was fixed. The next day I had another problem with the idle of the car so I returned to them again for service. I was told that the used car manager would not cover any more repairs and I would have to pay for the repairs myself. They gave me an estimate for repairs of $750.00. I have had this car for 16 days so I tried to exercise my return option that I signed at the contract signing and was told it was not an option and if I left the car on their lot they would have it towed to my home and charge me for the towing. Bob (the sales manager) was extremely rude and told me I own the car and he doesn't care what I do with it, he will not take it back. BEWARE, do not buy from the Auffenberg Econo Corner, the fast talking salesman will sell you a lemon and management will not honor the warranty or the return policy!

Overall, I felt extremely welcomed there, especially since Oliver C.Joseph treated me pretty bad on the day I purchased a car from Auffenberg. My Salesman Jerome, I felt was trying his best to accomodate me, But I do not think he is well aware of the important issues that arise after the sales are made. I have had some issues I have addressed with him, and I think he should have checked with others before he tried to resolve my issues. I have not had any issues with my car other than small hail damage, and recently a bad battery, which was really handled appropriately ONLY after I contacted Bob G. the service manager. Which I really thought Jerome could have done as well, because he informed me that there was nothing Auffenberg could do about the battery. But Jerome was still helpful and assisted me the best way he could. I am very pleased with my outcome today, and I have learned to seek help beyond just talking to one person. I would recommend Auffenberg over OCJ anyday! I do think they care for their customers even after the sale is made. I think you just have to know who to address with your issues, to eliminate unnecessary upsets. Thank you Auffenberg..Jerome and Bob :)

Went looking for a new Fusion in Red with all the bells & whistles with grey interior. Auffenberg only had ones with black interior so they had to look outside the dealership. Only 1 dealership around had the one we wanted and it took a lot of dealing on their part to get the car we wanted, but they were able to get it for us in the time frame we wanted and we love it. Night we picked it up took a little longer than expected with it being the last day of the month & several other people getting cars that night too but other than that transaction went smoothly. I went in knowing what I wanted on the car, the add-ons I wanted and what I could & would pay for it and they made it happen. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend them to others.

I had a great car buying experience at Auffenberg Ford in Belleville Illinois. I felt as if they listened to my wants and needs and provided me with a safe affordable car in my purchase of the 2011 ford focus. Specifically I was looking for a blue focus which had power windows, a sun roof and leather seats, with in a very short time they were able to locate and deliver the car that fit all my needs. They made the buying process easy for me. In my next car buying experince I would like to work with Charlie,Bob and Dan again.

On approximately 26th of Jun my Ford Focus broke down on the side of the road. There was power to the dashboard (radio, a/c, lights, etc worked fine) but the car would not start. I had it towed to Auffenberg Ford in Belleville, IL as this was the closest dealer to where my car died. The next day one of the mechanics called me and said it might be the PCM which is the main computer in the car, and that it would cost about 850 dollars to fix. I managed to get the money together, which was hard to do for a struggling college student. After about a week we picked up the car and began to drive home. Less than twenty miles into the drive and it broke down again!!!!! Same problem as before. I had to get it towed back to the dealership because they did not do their job correctly. When I talked to the dealer the next day they said they got a faulty PCM and were ordering a new one. They said there would be no charge for it was their fault. I contacted them every day for two weeks. Apparently they were finding loose wires and had to fix them. They had told me in the beginning that there were no loose wires. Now after not having a car for close to a month, they are also charging me an extra 130 dollars on top of the 880 dollars I had paid the first time they said my car was fixed. I believe the mechanics tried to do a "quick fix" the first time and were hoping my car ran a little bit longer so they could claim that it was not their fault. Unless you plan on being overcharged do not go here!!!
