Matt is the BEST Dealer I have ever worked with. I am way past 50 ... have purchased several cars/trucks and this is the ONLY Dealer I would come back to. Can not PRAISE him enough. He did not try to over sell for a higher profit. Made sure all question were answered, AND before I grove off the lot with my newly purchased Truck he said I could come back with ANY questions later. Am serious, if you want a GOOD used car/truck go to THIS dealer! peggy

I bought a used Toyota Corolla from this dealer a few months back and am just now getting around to filling this out. The guy was very easy to deal with and let me test drive as many of his cars as I wanted without any hassle at all. He asked which cars I was interested in and I rattled off a list of three on his lot. He then handed me the keys to all three, encouraging me to test drive any or all of them. When I'd settled on the Corolla, he let me take it to a mechanic for an inspection before purchasing and when it came time to buy, he was also willing to negotiate the price with me. The car has been serving my son well since he took it off to college. The whole process was extremely laid back and there was zero pressure sales. Some people might not like being left alone out in the lot to browse the cars, but it's exactly what I like. Very pleased with the whole process.

In Response to my Review and the Response of the dealer... Immediately after my car broke down, first thing i did was called this dealer.. First response from him.. my friend its been 3 months.. i dont know what you did to the car.. i cannot take care of it.. I had also purchansed SCS warranty from him,, for 1 year, and that is totally bogus. after 3 weeks, they tell the reason for this is overheating and they will not cover for it.. If Anyone planning to buy a car from this dealership... please please get a mechanic check up and DO NOT take 3rd party warranty... thats all Bogus and waste of money..

I brought a Car from this dealer, after 3 months, while i was driving my car, it suddenly stops at the the signal, and turns off. I towed it and taken to my mechanic, after diagnosing my car, my mechanic says, the Engine in the car was replaced from a different Engine (may be brought from a salvage/junk yard). This dealer did not tell me initially about all this crap. I am totally at a loss. Beware before you buy anything from here.

I was looking to buy my first BMW. For the price, age and miles on the car, the car is pretty good condition. I got it checked out about a week after I purchased it and even the BMW dealership thought the same. So far the car is great and the buying process was good. Very professional.

I was looking for a reliable car to save me gas and when I stopped by I told him what I wanted and what he told it to me straight. He didn't sugar coat anything he told me. He told me what reliable car he has that were fuel efficient and told me what he had that was in my price budget. He worked with me to find the right car and now I am driving the best choice I made. He's a very good guy. He is not the guy that will screw you over. He is there to help us who don't want our credit to be ruined by big mean cardealers.

After extensive search and many disappointments and wasted time searching for a used car, finally I found these guys. Prices are fair. Staff was very flexible and easy going handling my buying requirements such as independent car inspection(s) and extensive test driving. No attitudes, no hard sells, just a good car at a good price. I'll be keeping these guys in mind from now on when I need a car.

I went to Austin Direct to check out a Dodge pickup after having viewed the pictures on line and reviewing a Carfax report. upon entering the office I was ignored for about two minutes before my presence was acknowledged. Finally the person it the front office ask if I needed help and then produced the key to the pickup. The truck was reportedly accident free and appeared to be in very good condition in the online photos. Upon first sight, the left front bumper was dented and bent upward in front and down at the fender line by more than 3 inches. The paint was in exposed ( clear coat missing) in areas around the windshield, the roof ,and the top of the bed rails. After going over the vehicle,no sales person present, a test drive plate given to me. As soon as I put the truck in gear to start the drive, the low fuel light came on and the fuel gauge dropped to empty. I managed to get about a 3 mile drive before returning to the dealership. The tires appeared relatively new, but they were out of balance causing a vertical vibration in the truck. I was apprehensive about the vehicle, my wife was totally distrustful. I would have still considered purchasing the truck until I went back into the office and no one was even there. At that point I felt that they did not care whether I wanted the truck or not. Zero sales pressure is a good thing, but the appearance of not being interested in making a sale was too much. I ended up buying a truck from a dealer in San Antonio. To be fair the pictures of the vehicle were not totally deceptive, you had to go to enlargement to see the defects, but the size in the cars.com ads presented a better view than the eyes-on facts.

I was recently in the market for a pre-owned European sedan, and was fortunate enough to come across Matt and Austin Direct Auto Sales through cars.com. Their buying process was extremely simple, and Matt was very easy to deal with. I am now the proud owner of a mint condition BMW that I love more than words, and thankfully I bought it for THOUSANDS less than what other dealers were charging for the same car. Without a doubt, I would recommend Austin Direct Auto Sales to anyone who is looking for a great car at a better than great price. They have a ton of options on their lot and you won't be disappointed.

I bought a truck here, I came with an appointment and no one was there for 30 minutes. There was only one guy, Matt, who told me he was the owner, then said he wasn't, he didn't pay any attention to me even when we we're sitting right in front of us, I don't think he heard a word I said and was a terrible salesman or manager. The office looked like a storage place and the lot was messy and uninviting. Luckily for them they had the truck I wanted so I was going to get it anyway. While driving it home, all the bad lights came on. Check engine, Mat Req, Brake light, ABS light, all of them. It was obvious that they went in the computer and did the temp shut off on all the lights. They lied on the phone, they lied on the advertisement saying the tires we're almost new, and they weren't. I would never recommend anyone go here. Very very very, unprofessional.

I just purchased a car from this dealer. So far everything has seemed fair and acceptable. Car is very nice internally and mechanically sounds great. Only time will tell. As of now i would reccomend this dealer.

Drove over an hour to get this great vehicle. The vehicle was in tip top shape for the year. We were treated great from the time we walked in until the time we drove off. Everything was explained to us in detail. For a long time I actually felt great about this purchase. I would definately be buying my next vehicle here!

After initially having a positive experience with Matt and team from Austin Direct Auto prior and writing a positive review on my recent Infiniti FX45 purchase (1/14/13), I sadly have discovered I've been badly deceived. I drove the car less than 60 miles before check engine light came on. Brought it to the Infinity dealership technician and they discovered from their advanced scanning tool that there were two "stored" codes in the ecu. They suspected that the codes were re-set because they were stored as opposed to a new code. And that the 60 miles driving was a classic interval before the code re-tripped the ecu and came back on. Turned out the codes were a P403 and P402. Massive vaccuum leak air/fuel mixture rich, Need new exhaust manifold catalytic convertor and oxygen sensors. Car would never pass a Texas state inspection. Grande total of repairs was $2500. I gave Matt the opportunity to right the situation. He and his dealership obviously knew they had sold a car in need of alot of repairs and dishonestly re-set the check engine light. Although his seller online ad reads "All cars sold with warranty" He does not honor his words and was rude in his response. Buyer beware of this place. Proceed with caution. He was very nice and it could be very deceiving. But once confronted, he was callous and lacked integrity. I'm looking to recuperate this lost in small claims court. Don't make my same mistake.

Very satisfied with the service and quality of cars offered by this facility, I purchased a 2002 Toyota camry from this dealership. The agent took the time to discuss different cars they have available for my price range and was very helpful with my decision to choose a car thats right for my needs. overall i received quality product and service, I made the drive from Houston to Austin for my purchase. will definitely buy from them again.
