Before I delve into my personal issue, I want to talk about the employees I dealt with.I don't recall the name of the employee who I dealt with to get my loan situated (Jason, maybe?), but he was just generally unpleasant and I don't think I saw the guy smile once in any of our encounters. Just overall angry vibes.Dwayne seemed alright, except the car I bought needed two tires and he would only replace one, and made me pay for the other. Which I thought is pretty ridiculous, if I'm buying a car, it seems fair that all the tires should be in safe working condition.Scott is just your run-of-the-mill sleazy car salesman, the type that will kiss up to you in any way possible so he seems like a nice guy, but its blatantly obvious he is just using every trick in the book to get his commission in the end. My father was the first person to make contact with him, then when I met him (and throughout the rest of my experience) he went on and on about how great my father was and how lucky I am, though he'd only known him for as much as ten minutes. Clearly doing everything he can to build his rapport with me, and I got the salesman vibe from him instantly. Also, during the one minute I was with him in my car, to bring it across the street to talk to the mechanic (Scott referred to the mechanic with an ethnic reference I am not allowed to repeat here) that could fix the problem, I overheard his conversation with someone who had recently financed a car with Auto Country. He said something along the lines of "listen, dealerrater.com, go there, I know you want to leave a ten star review, but they only allow you to give five, do the right thing." As soon as he hung up he proceeded tell me how "that guy couldn't finance a ring ding" and they put him in a car, now he kept calling back and bothering him. Then he said to me, "Thank you for listening, you know you're better than Dr. Phil!" He is so transparent I could almost see the black void in his chest.Just goes to show how little he actually cares about these people, that he will talk smack about them to other customers right after talking to them on the phone. I figured that just in case that poor guy fell for Scott's crap and actually leaves a good review on here, I'd have to balance that out with my own review.I purchased my car in April. I wanted to make sure everything was in working order, so I told them I wanted a mechanic to check everything out before we finalized the sale. They brought it to their mechanic, Abington Sunoco. I shouldn't have assumed that they would be honest and unbiased, and that they would actually check everything out. Somehow they missed the part that the hood DIDN'T OPEN. I guess that's partially my fault for not opening it myself before I bought the thing, but I know nothing about engines so I figured I wouldn't know if there was anything wrong by looking at it anyway. So, when I brought it to get it's first oil change, I was surprised to find out that the hood didn't open. I brought it back to Auto Country, hoping that they could take care of it for me. I had never attempted to open the hood to have broken the release, meaning it must have never been opened by them at all to even check the thing out. But they told me to come back next week because the mechanic had another car he was working on.. I asked Scott if I would be paying for this, and he had to consult with Dwayne on the phone, and he walked about 50 feet away, probably so I couldn't hear the conversation. He came back to me and said some words that basically contradicted themselves, at first saying I'd have to pay, then saying they'd fix it for free. I said, "for free? Or am I paying?" And he replied, "if they have to do work on it then you have to pay, but it might be nothing. If it's nothing, we'll fix it for free." Hm. I'd hope I wouldn't pay for nothing! And if it was truly "nothing," I wouldn't have been back there in the first place!In the end, all that is my stupidity for not opening the hood before I bought the car, but it also shows their incompetence/dishonesty, as this clearly shows that either they do not check these cars out AT ALL before they sell them, or they do and just decline to tell the buyer any of those problems they find and hope they don't notice before they sign the papers. I refuse to give them any more of my money, and instead will be a keyboard warrior and fight their bad service with my bad review.I'm sure they will reply to this review and try to say they did nothing wrong, they are honest salespeople and that, hey, they've been in business for 25 years! They must be an honest company! I read in one of their replies that they "fix nearly everything." If that was true I doubt my car would have needed tires, and I would expect the hood to open when I finally go to get an oil change. And, wow, upon further reading, I'm even more surprised by this bit of one of their replies: "If he has any further questions or accusations, we would appreciate a conversation with him, not a negative review while safely sitting behind his computer." Safely sitting behind his computer? Just what is it that you're implying there?Anyway, my belief is that a review like this is the best way to let people know about the people they might be dealing with. If I called them and talked to them about this, I'm sure they would use their fake charm and salesman tactics to try and swing me over to their side, and then nobody would ever know what I dealt with. These sites are literally here for this specific purpose, for a straight, honest, UNBIASED review. Don't bother calling me guys and trying to make this right, I will not be changing this review like one other reviewer did. You shouldn't need a negative review to open your eyes to the fact that you should be doing the right thing and treating your customers with honesty and fairness.

I went to Autocountry simply because it was open on a Sunday. Little did I know that I would be leaving with my awesome 07 GMC Sierra a few days later. Before I was even out of my car, Scott was on his way over to talk to me & without trying to play games, simply asked me what I was looking for. I told him I wanted a GMC or Chevy, extended cab, regular bed, 4 wheel drive. He showed me what he had that fell into that category and never asked me if he could interest me in an SUV or even asked me why I wanted a truck, something that had come up at every other dealership I went to. He just wanted to get me what I wanted. I left that afternoon 100% satisfied and picked up my truck a couple days later. 10/10 would recommend a trip to Autocountry!!!

I was looking for a used car to fit my budget. I was looking for a car less than ten years old that I could use for a long time, and to help transport items to and from my daughter's College. I have been to a few dealerships and did see a few cars, but there seemed to be a few issues. The first car I drove in was nice; albeit, a little small for my needs. The engine was nice and quiet, very good pickup and handled very well, very little rust on the underside. I settled on a Honda Odyssey. The car was almost pristine, both inside and out. It had no rust at all. The salespeople were very helpful, despite it appearing to be a little busier than some of the other places I went to.

After much deliberation I decided to purchase a vehicle from Auto Country Inc on March 4th, 2016. This decision was based solely on the information funneled to me from Auto Country employee Scott via many texts, videos and pictures ( all of which I have). The vehicle was advertised and represented as in good working order. Heres a few examples of the issues. In one text I specifically asked if the AC and Heat worked on this truck, his response is "Yes everything works as it should!". In another example I had Scott take a video and pictures of the instrument cluster to ensure that there were no check engine or warning lights on. In the video and pics there is definitely no lights on; however, when the vehicle arrived the check engine light was on. I cleared the light and the light returned after every 2nd ignition cycle. What this tells me is that you have to put a code reader to the vehicle to clear the check engine light after you turn the truck on 2 times. In yet another example I had them send me the video and pics of the engine and transmission dipstick. In the video there's nothing that warrants concern. Again, when I received the truck the oil was milky white which is a sure sign of a bad head gasket (a 4 thousand dollar repair). These are just a few examples of the issues on this vehicle. I immediately attempted to contact Scott to remedy this major problem. I to this day have never received a phone call or text from Scott since the sale of the vehicle. Seeing that the original salesman wasn't going to call me back I started to move up the chain and talked to the manager. He suggested I talk to the owner Michael. I got a hold of Michael and things got heated quickly. I certainly lost my cool and said some things I regret due to his lackadaisical attitude towards my concerns. This whole transaction was never signed by both parties per Ma law. I wanted a full refund and Michael did finally agree to a refund of only the purchase price of the vehicle ($10,026) but not the cost incurred to me to ship the vehicle both to and from his location ($2,625). He also said he would only refund the vehicle purchase price if I removed my BBB complaint and any negative review I filed online. Since he was essentially holding my money for ransom we complied. He also stated he would sue us if we re posted any negative review against him. So here we are to this day in time, I do have a refund of the vehicle purchase price $10,026. I want the business to pay for my shipping costs both to and from. The only reason I am requesting this is because I would not have purchased this vehicle had it not been falsely represented and possibly intentionally manipulated in such a way to sell to an unsuspecting consumer

Dave was super helpful from the beginning. Since I didn't have a car, he brought the car to the Red Line station and let me take it for a test drive. Down-to-earth and gracious, he always responded promptly to my questions, and was always willing to help, even after hours. I was a little skeptical about dealing with a used car dealership, but Dave behaved like a professional. Not your stereotypical used car salesman--Dave clearly wanted the sale, but he also wanted me to be happy, and was helpful but low key. Dave really gets good customer service. While the rest of the team I interacted with was good, they did not all seem quite as customer service oriented as Dave. I am really happy with the car, a 2009 Subaru Outback, thus far. Thank you, Dave.

we gave them three things we wanted fixed before we picked up the car they didn't fi any of it upon picking up the car they told my wife to call the following Wednesday to schedule a time to get the vehicle serviced 17 days later the manager is on vacation and nothing has been fixed they are minor things but it's about principle I will get the few things fixed but that are just very dishonest

My review is based on a recent visit to this dealership. I suppose I should have read the other reviews before making a trip up here. For the record, Dwanye(if that's how his name is spelled) was standing in the lobby as I walked in, told him the vehicle I was interested in and he pointed me directly and politely to Steve the salesman who sat me down and got my information. We then proceeded out to the truck I was interested in. I, as a professional mechanic, started tests with the tools I had brought immediately. I was told even before I started performing tests that they had not checked the vehicle out yet(yet they had it priced at $2,995 for some reason ie. not good practice). The engine was overfilled with oil and was leaking past the valve covers among other places. It also had some blowby. In any case, after I was finished under the hood I moved to the body. Rot everywhere! It was an old truck but clearly it hadn't been taken care of. There was also a refrigerator in the bed...hmmm. All the time I was checking this truck out Steve was pushing for me to test drive it yet I was already beginning to have doubts as there were other problems: drivers door was crooked on the hinges, the headliner was falling down, and there was tape over the interior lights switch. The AC was not cold either. Alright so onto the test drive, the transmission was slipping, the shocks were shot and the engine stalled out at one point(this is an automatic..they don't do that unless something is wrong). The alignment was VASTLY off as well. It was dangerous just to test drive the thing. I had my dad making notes the entire time of what needed to be fixed and what was wrong. In conclusion, the truck was in need of excess of 5k in repairs just to pass inspection and I handed Steve my list of repairs the truck needed. This truck was not even close to being worth 2.9k...more like 1k if not less. I ended up going to a different dealership and getting a truck 2 years newer(98') of the same trim, engine and transmission that worked much much better for less(2.5k) and they are taking care of some of the rot on the body included in that price as well as giving me a warranty. The 96' dodge ram should have been checked out before it was put on the lot. Also, it is improper practice to price a vehicle before you know what your dealing with. It could have caused an accident due to all the issues it had, luckily I am a good driver. I diagnosed all the issues the truck had for them and put it in black and white, hopefully they take heed and pull it off the lot before some poor soul purchases it. Steve and Dwayne seemed like good people however.

Daughter bought a car from this dealership upon picking up the car she found the radiator light wouldn't go off, the windshield was cracked, side mirror was glued on and the car was filthy ! When I called they put me on the phone with Mike Fagan, who started the conversation by calling me "baby"! When asking why this care was in this condition he told me I ask too many questions and I was obviously unreasonable!!! I know I'm not going to get anywhere with this place so instead I'm contacting the BBB as well as one of the news stations to help solve the problem! This place should be put out of business!

I bought a mazda 3 just about a month ago. They fixed nothing I asked ie. Bumper and tires, and I thought they did. Within the first 4 days my car didn't start twice and the check engine light came on so I brought it to them. They cleared the check engine light and said bring it back if it does it again. They replaced the starter thank god and had my car all day. Within a couple days I noticed that not only did 1 tire have a bubble but 2 tires! .. I asked him to fix it because he said he had before I picked the car up. They got me 2 new tires and thought they were doing me a favor. Within 3 days the brand new tire went flat. They blew it up with more air and told me it held air just fine and we're going to get me another used rim. I brought the tire to town fair tire and when the guy took the rim off the tire he found alL kinds of rubber in the tire that Abington auto country didn't even bother to check. Tire was no good. In the interim I had asked for my bumper to be replaced. Dwayne took it off my car on a Monday and acted like a nice guy like he was going to get the job done.. late Friday I was talking to him about the tire and he said he JUST now ordered a bumper. Soo needless to say that was 2.5 weeks ago. I have not yet received a phone call about the used rim they are suppose to be replacing because the other one was bent orrrr about my bumper that they were buying and painting. And not to mention, a couple days ago, my break pads were just metal so I had them replaced myself I didn't even bother to tell them....They had my car alL day long at least 3 times for things they know they should have taken care of before I drove it off the lot.. I wouldn't advise anyone to go there, crooks... im.not quite sure how this guy sleeps at night.

first mike my salesman was helpful while making the sale, after his hearing got bad ...When I asked to get a copy of the prep-work that was done before I received my car ...and I asked three time .That did not happen !! Then after I got home and started to check over what I would do if I was selling a car I found the air cleaner was collapsing on its self and full of dirt!!! The tires were all low pressure 12psi to 20 psi .The oil change that should have been done wasn't, the filter was not found listed at any auto parts store .but there was a new sticker on the windshield maybe adding some oil to the engine passes for a change to some. If you buy a car here spend the money and take it to a dealership and have them tell you if you are the dog or the hydrant !!!!!!!

Just got off the phone with a "gentleman" who was rude and unprofessional. I called to inquire about a used BMW. I was informed that it was sold and before I could utter a word he hung up. I called earlier today to inquire about the same vehicle and I was left on an indefinite hold. Clearly they are doing well and don't need the business. I am EXTREMELY glad I did NOT spend money here especially if their customer service practices are reflective of their sales and vehicles. Rude and unwelcoming.

We were quickly given a set of keys so we could test drive the car with no hassles or pressure. Once we chose the car we wanted, he went on to explain the process and answered all of our questions. Bought my jeep grand Cherokee in November 2013. Sun roof was defective and would not open . The manager Dwayne stated he would fix it but his sunroof guy had other things going on and I would have to wait . I went in four more times over the course of 2014 . It is now 2015 and my sunroof has yet to be fixed . All I get is the run around from this dealership. They don't care about anyone after they make a sale . Did I mention I bought a extended warranty with them and they still give me the run around . Called and asked for the owner and was told he is unreachable because he is in Florida . Asked to talk to the sunroof company they are hiring out and they told me he was in Florida also . This place is a joke and should be closed down immediately . Buyer beware this place is the worst dealership I've ever bought a cAr from . Do not go here !!!! You will get screwed .

I was looking for a car for my 16 year old and if you're a parent of a new driver you know how difficult that can be. After looking at many dealerships and scouring websites we finally found a Jeep on Auto Country's website. We took a 30 minute ride and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the condition of the car was exactly as described on their site. My experience with this dealership is by far the best I have ever had. I felt comfortable from the moment we walked in the door- everyone we interacted with, the entire sales team, including managers and the owner, Michael were friendly and honest. Has this ever happed to you? Your almost done with paying off your car when 'wham' your tyranny dies. I was not looking forward to buying a new car after my bad experience with the last car dealer but all that was about to change when we found Auto County.. We were able to walk around and check out cars with a pushy salesperson and when we found a car we liked We when into the main office to work out the deal .The one thing I couldn't get over was the fact that this deal is fair. No games - Just what can we do to get you this car and they did just that !Other dealers there are OK but Dwayne REALLY help us get the deal we wanted!I have to say thank Dwayne and crew for going above and beyond to get us our car.No four square or double talk.. This was literally the second dealership I spoke with. I requested information on a care through the online request form and received a call the next day. After speaking with Billy, I had scheduled an appointment to come in the following evening after work. When I arrived, the car I was initially interested in had been sold and the person was finishing her paperwork. Since Billy was helping another customer and running a little long, Joe took care of me. We hit it off right away and not only did we have a mutual friend, but we also realized we had grown up within miles from each other. It truly is a small world! Joe found a better car that met all my needs and wants, with a little extra thrown in for good measure. I got more car, three years newer for less than book value, with one owner and low miles. What a great deal!! All that and I've got some good friends that I will be doing business with in the future. I would recommend Auto Country to my friends and family anytime!! You guys are the best!! :)

I went to see them, everyone who worked there was so nice and easy to talk to. My Sales person, Mike S, was great. I looked around, saw many nice cars, but had a partiular car in mind. So I would like to revise my previous review (buyer beware who cares...). I received a phone call from Dwayne at Auto Country who apologized for all my inconvenience and he assured me that they will fix the problem with the car. He also expressed via email how important it was to him and Auto Country that I am completely satisfied with my vehicle. I appreciated his willingness to resolve this matter. Hopefully once everything is resolved I can turn my negative into a positive...we are working it out so we are on the right track...the jury is still out for a recommendation.

Auto country gave off a good vibe the minute I stepped into the parking lot. The cars being sold weren't junk by any means and all looked legitimate. I spotted a corolla on the lot and wanted to check it out because it sparked my intrest. I met Jim and joe, two guys in the sales office who work on Sundays. They were extremely friendly guys , down to earth and straight shooters. They let me test drive the car by myself and weren't breathing down my neck about the car like other cliche used car lot sales men. The guys at auto country have a concious for sure, because they were very flexible with the price of my car after explaining I am a hard working college student looking for his first car. Auto country has been around 23 years and has been running a tight ship for all that time--- definatly Tells you something! A sound business with excellent customer service. Don't waste your time on Craigslist going to private sellers and buying potential headaches because you saved a few bucks out of pocket at first. Try auto country and I bet most will be extremely satisfied! As stated before, these guys don't sell junk! Their cars are nice, and their staff even nicer! I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I bought a 2005 Ford Explorer from Dwayne. The customer service is excellent until you pay for your vehicle. I bought my Explorer in November. The day I picked up my Explorer I made it around the block before the check engine and other security alarms where going off in vehicle. Dwayne told us to drive the car home and it would reset. The next day my Explorer was back at Auto Country. The vehicle had to go back 3 times, I had my vehicle 3 days the first month. In January I had major back surgery which Dwayne was aware of! The vehicle was not driven that much as I was unable to drive. I recently took my Explorer for the 1st oil change at Walmart and they where unable to do it as the pin was stripped! Supposedly the cat was serviced before we took possession. Walmart advised us to bring back to dealership. We called Dwayne right away and after several back and forth conversations he advised there was nothing he could do! We spent more money traveling back and forth from Carver to Abington! I would advise you to think twice before buying a vehicle from Auto Country!!!

We bought a used Ford Explorer in November from Dwayne. The dealership is great when it comes to the sale bug when I went to pick up my Explorer I made it around the block before check engine and service alarms went off. The first month of ownership I had my car 3 days. I had to bring it back 3 times in the first month. In the beginning of January I needed emergency back surgery which Dwayne was fully aware of. Due to the surgery the Explorer was not drive to much. When it was due for an oil change, I brought the Explorer to Walmart who advised me the pin was stripped and bring it back to dealership as they where unable to do the oil change. Dwayne refused to help. It cost me more to buy this car from all my trips back and forth from Carver to Abington to a dealership that cuts corners at the consumers expense!!! I would think twice before buying a vehicle from Auto Country!!!

Drove down to this place to check out a car I found online without many expectations.Car was good - clean inside and out - better than the pictures on the website. I had previously researched the price for the year, model, and mileage, which was lower than other car dealers. I gave them a call and Mike S. answered and was totally low-key. He said the car was clean and ready to go. Given the excellent price I was expecting to find something wrong with the car but when I visited, the car was as clean as Mike said it was.Actually I found that the car was a one-owner with full service records and had options not listed in the advertisement, so the car was better than expected. Plus they had a very low price. During the entire time Mike never tried any pressure at all and was quiet during the test drive so I could listen to the car. He even said I could think about it and get back to him, which I've never heard from a salesperson.I was not surprised that the advertised price was firm because it was a good price. Apparently all used car dealers now list their rock bottom price online because everyone uses the internet to compare. If the price is a few hundred dollars too high, they get no calls and waste their advertising.My credit is not good, so that was a concern. I had been to five dealers including Prime and Boch and was turned down. I really didn't think I would get financed, even with a finance company that charges the extra sub-prime buyer fee. Since I had gone to other dealerships who couldn't get me financed, my credit had lots of negative hits. But Dwayne somehow got me financed and the payments and fee were much better than I expected. If I'd gone to Auto Country first without the credit hits from Prime and Boch, it would have been easier to get financing.When I went to get the car, Mike picked me up at the train station and the car was clean and ready to go. Have had no problems at all with the car. In my experience Mike and Dwayne are upfront, honest, and no-pressure - plus Auto Country got me financed when five other dealerships could not.

Thanks to Joe ODonnell I was able to get my daughter her first car at a great price and the EXACT car she wanted. Joe made the entire process painless and spoiled my daughter for any future purchase she may make. I was worried coming down from the north shore to a place I was not familiar with but instantly knew we made the right decision when we talked to Joe. It is definately worth the drive from anywhere to deal with such nice people who understand the business and give what I think is great deals for cars, or suv's in great condition. The experience does not stop there. Some minor repairs have to be done and Joe is always there to answer questions and Autocountry is more than willing to stand behind their product. This was my first " Used car buying experience" and I must admit that these guys really truly made it a lot less scary! My sales guy was named Steve - he was super friendly and really helpful. I recently had a little girl and wanted a safer more dependable car. I had NO CREDIT because I never had a credit card or thought of using anything other than cash when I was younger. They helped me ( with a co-signer ) get something I thought would never happen, A NEW CAR! :) Thanks to Dwayne for putting up with my craziness and nervousness! For starter i bought the car about 5 months ago.I have poor credit so it was the last "legitimate"dealer to get credit with.Gil seemed nice so i didn't think anything of it until when i came in next all of the things Gil had told me were false.I just kept getting well we don't make keys,or "no no no we don't lend you cars if you are waiting weeks for your car to be done". which should have tipped me off but I was trying to give them the benefit.When i went to finally finalize the paper all the numbers kept going up and up.On top of a trade in and 1000 dollars we already gave them which was suppose to be it there was another 1500 to "smooth it over with the Bank". Now 6 months later my exhaust has trouble so i take it to a mechanic to find out why.It turns out its been welded completely to the bottom of the car so i have to get everything behind the catalytic converter replaced.Just a miserable and disappointing experience. Oh and don't bring concerns to the owner he doesn't want to hear it.

This dealership is a joke. When going on there web site I seen a Land Rover for sale, called the dealer they said that the Land Rover was still available. Went to the dealership and the Land Rover was on the front lot with all the other vehicles for sale. Dan, the sales man approached me, after telling him I was interested in the Land Rover he said, "it was junk", and there were major things wrong with it. I told him I came to the dealership and called on this car, again he told me that i could not buy it. He ended up showing me a SUV, I liked it and put a deposit on it. Gave him all my info for financing, he told me that it would take a day or 2 for approval due to the fact my credit score was not that good but guaranteed me that financing would not be a problem .and I would be in the car within 3 days. Called the dealership 2 days later, Dan was not available so I left a message for him to call me back, all day, no call. Day 3 same thing, called several times, no call back. Left a message that I would be going to the dealership at 12 to talk about my trade in, got there and was treated so poorly. Kept me waiting and waiting. when we finally did get him to sit down and talk about the SUV again he talked in circles and Dwayne stepped in to talk for him and gave me the value of my trade, still nothing got accomplished, I knew then that this was a huge mistake. after 5 days of doing this and being blown off time after time Dwayne finally took my call, told me I was approved for a car that was not even the SUV I had put a deposit on. Told him no way did i want that car, I wanted the SUV that I had put the deposit on. He then told me that that's what Dan had put through and that's what I qualified for but the car was the same price as the SUV. So shady! . On the 6th day again I called, left message after message. No call back. On the 7th day and a week of being blown off I told the receptionist that I wanted my deposit back and I wanted to cancel the deal. Then and only then is when Mike got on the phone, I told him the situation and told him i went else were to buy a car. His professional response was "were JD buy rider"? Was rude and so unprofessional, He then expressed the fact that they broke there butts to get me financing. It took the dealership that I ended up buying a car from 2 days to get financing for me and on the third day I was driving my new car, the salesman was great and professional, no run around. Got the SUV I wanted and the payments were exactly were I needed to be.It's places like this that give Car dealer and sales man a bad reputation. They are the classic case of why good sales man end up with that typical shady car dealer image. So not true, there are some really great professional sale people out there. I did end up buying the car i wanted from a reputable dealer.

I was so very excited to get my first vehicle ever. When I started this process I was completely satisfied but I have still not received my vehicle and am not sure when I will be getting it. I keep getting told different things and it is very frustrating. I have done everything on my part yet it seems like I'm no longer important because they got their sale. I am supposed to be talking to Gilly once more today to see if today will be the day I get my car when I was told the day I signed the paperwork I was told Wednesday morning at the latest. It seems like they don't care when I get my vehicle and its making me question their customer service.

So far I have not gotten my vehicle but i feel compelled to write, I have been shopping around everywhere, I have been told with my credit and my income I would have very little luck with getting a good deal. I drove into the auto country lot with my wife and 4 yr old daughter, in hopes to get the suv we had our eye on. Unfortunately we were not able to actually get it because he was already taken. But the gentleman in the Blue Coat ..I can remember his name but his smile was welcoming. He showed me and my wife around and we looked at others. what i liked about the way he handled that part was he stood back and let us choose and not try to tell us what we want. we found something we loved...surprising to me because I swore I wouldn't by another Ford. He gave us the keys and we drove it for a test and it was smooth, everything worked, and it was clean from top to bottom. I asked about a couple of scratches and he said just a little paint probably no problem( Don't know if they would be paying for it or me) but either way they weren't major. We talked about my situation and with such confidence they said no problem they would get on getting me approved. I was stunned at how quick and sure they were i had to double check with them that i heard them right about it not being too much of a problem, as the whole office was handing my daughter quarters for candy lol.. So i left a deposit and shook hands with both of the gentleman. Me and my wife went on..the next morning (today) I get a call they can work with me and to bring in my paperwork of proof. I was shocked just that quick they answered me. I don't know how it will turn out but i trust they will do what ever they need to make sure I'm driving. Dwayne and the other gentleman seem to know what they are doing..which is more than i can say for most used cars dealerships and I have had my share. I can't wait to see how this week goes. Siked!! they seem like awesome people...I will update soon.

I have to say we have never wrote a bad review about anyone, but sorry to say this is by far the worst dealer we have ever dealt with. After what they did to us I would not recommend them to anyone,I would not even buy a bicycle from them. We brought them a van to trade in, by the time we got the van there it started to have some problems. (we lived 4 hours away) They quoted us a price and said if we stayed over their mechanic would be there in the morning to look at it. So we stay over and guess what, oh the mechanic is not coming in today. So they quote us a price and we have to take the bus to get home because they suggest we don't drive the van anymore. So now we call them and they say well the van needs a new transmission so you have to give us an extra thousand dollars. So we complain a little but we do it. We bought a ford F250 pick up with a plow. They guaranteed the plow worked. Also the truck had some rust on it,so they said for another extra thousand dollars we will have all the rust cut out and fixed(NO bondo) so we agree. So after about two weeks we go to get our truck. It looks good,so we take it. So we get home and take the plow out of the back, hook it up and guess what again,it DOES NOT work. But we don' really want to go all the way back there (which they new, we live four hours away) so we take it to our own guy to fix but after three hundred dollars, still not fixed. Meanwhile the pumpkin in the back is leaking so we had to fix that,two hundred more dollars. And then only after about six weeks all the body work that they did is completely BUBBLED. Also now the service engine light is now on. Took it to our mechanic who says we need a new oxygen sensor. So we call them back and tell them...the paint is all bubbled, the service engine light is on, it needs a new sensor, the shocks are about to fall off,and the plow does not work( oh and the remote is a peice of junk w the wires hanging out) So we call them and they say we have to bring it there they will have it taken care...Well guess what our truck was there for a FULL EIGHT WEEKS!!! WE get there and the lights on the plow are SMASHED! No new shocks,no new sensor,no new reomte and still rust and a whole in the body...are you kidding me???and now no one will call us back!!!We gave them a chance to fix this and they didn't.

I had been looking for a car but I needed some financing(only had 1,500 to put down) and was told by 3 other places I would be lucky to get 21% apr(if I was lucky). I then found a car at Auto Country and went down to check it out. It was mint condition and I decided to purchase it. I filled out the finance application letting them know my credit is only ok since there's no problems but I'm only 22 so have little history. Dwayne not only got me financing I could afford, he found a bank that gave me a rate of 10.9%. They also helped out with transferring my registration and insurance so that I had to do almost no work at all. Overall I give them 5 stars and while I hope I won't need a new car for a while, I will definitely go back there when I do.

i bought a 1997 ford expedition 4-5 years ago from them and they worked with me to do the buy here pay here payments witch was a huge help as my credit is not the greatest.I am going back this weekend to meet with them again and try to get a new suv as it is time and i have no dought in my mind they will get me in a vehicle diving as they did several years ago they are a great dealership and i try to send people there way when ever i can

First the sales part - not good. Was told many things by the sale person that were not true. Promised report - never received and was told after the fact that there is not a report avail, promised part - still waiting 6 months later, ignored by this sales person when visiting for service. The good/bad news is that after 4 months car needed extensive work but was handled professionally by Dwayne in service. Overall car is not worth the money paid.

I would like to make it known that shortly after writing a negative review I was contacted by the management at Auto Country. I have to admit I was shocked that I even got a phone call. But it did not end there, I was asked to bring my truck back to the dealer in order to show the staff exactly what the problems were. I did this and to my complete surprise, Dwayne asked if I was able to leave the truck with him for a few days because he was going to remedy the situation. I did just that, and three short days later I recieved a call, informing me that my truck was fixed and I could pick it up any time. I returned to the dealership and found that the staff had sent my truck to a third party repair shop and had all of the problems rectified. They had cut, welded, repaired and replaced sections of the frame, the rear suspension, and repaired the sheet metal in the truck bed... a job that without a doubt cost thousands of dollars. At the time these repairs were completed I was outside of my limited warranty, but when I asked Dwayne what I owed him, he answered "nothing" and simply requested that I make it known that Auto Country was eager to make a customer safe and happy with a vehicle they had sold. I have to say I was amazed, at the quality of service and genuine concern the staff afforded me once they were aware of my problem and dissatissfaction. I will leave you with this, you can be sure that you will receive a quality product and stellar service if you choose to do business with the folks at Auto Country. And if for any reason you are not satisfied you will not believe the lengths these people will go to in order to make you a satisfied customer.

I stopped into Auto Country while out looking for a used SUV, salesman Bobby Baldi came out and was friendly and informative. When I didn't see the exact type of SUV I was looking for in my price range Bobby showed me a couple other SUV's and got me interested . He was very helpful and answered any questions I had and really worked hard to get me a teriffic deal for a great truck. I couldn't be happier with the professionalism & relaxed atmosphere, and thankful for the management for giving me a great deal.

I just recently purchased a car at auto country. This was my first time purchasing from a dealership and after hearing all the horror stories about dealerships and scams I was a complete skeptic! My boyfriend and I spent a good long stressful month car shopping at every used car dealership withing a 40 mile radius of us! As I was searching the internet I came across auto country's website and decided to go in and check them out. After all our experiences everywhere else it was pleasantly surprising to see cars that I was interested in with realistic prices and miles!! We were assisted by the salesman Rich who was very personable and was extremely helpful! (skeptic part of me knows that all salesman are this way) but even after the deal is done and Ive been back in a couple times he still still has my recommendations and has been nothing but pleasant to deal with. I met Dwayne in the financing process and was again surprised at the quality of service I received. Everything was easy, he was very helpful and patient. Now after all the papers were signed and I drove the car off the lot I was sure this is when the horror story was gonna begin and their true colors were gonna show as this is what i know happens with dealerships and salesman etc. But I am here to write a review as every issue, concern or question I have had since I purchased my car has been dealt with so pleasantly, understandingly, professionally and promptly. The used car business is a tough one and these guys have earned my recommendations! I am a very happy auto country customer so far and if for any reason I feel differently I will definitely update this review. What a great group of people! I have bought two vehicles from Auto Country now. The first time I came here I was in a horrible place with a vehicle that was sucking the money out of me. Auto Country found me a car within budget and found me a loan that was easily affordable despite my horrible credit problems. One and a half years later, I came back to Auto Country to get a vehicle I actually wanted. I found my Jeep Cherokee at Auto Country, which had less miles and was at least $1000 cheaper than any nearby dealerships. With my credit having increased from the last loan they found me, they found me an even better loan with much less interest. I am happy I came to Auto Country. I dealt with Gilly and Dwayne mostly, who are two very stand-up guys. However, the whole group of people that work here, from the finance manager to the mechanic, are all helpful and friendly men and women. I appreciate all the help and advice given to me from Auto Country. This is a very busy dealership with lots of sales and service being done simultaneously, yet everyone that works here still treats all their customers with dignity and respect. They make you feel like a real person instead of just a potential buyer. Keep up the good work my friends! I'll be back someday for my next vehicle.

I just bought a 1999 Dodge Dakota from Auto Country and I am thrilled with it. After visiting a number of other dealerships and and being dissapointed with the usual sales schemes, I was very pleased with how I was treated at Auto Country. Gilly served as my sales person and gave me a no hassle & no pressure experience. He never tried to sell me a more expensive car like the other dealerships. Dwayne took care of my financing and gave me options to choose from. I said I wanted a 3 year term and told him the monthly payment I was hopng for and he took care of it, when he offered a warranty I declined and he didn't try to sell me on it like the other dealships do. I'm sure I won't be in the market for a car for some time, but when I am, I'm going back to Auto Country.

This was my first experience in buying a car from a dealer so I wanted to look at several lots before making a decision. It was clear that Auto Country was the best dealer for me as they had the nicest cars of any dealers that were in my price range. Gilly was very helpful in selling me the car and I got a great deal on a Toyota. This was also my first time receiving a loan so I was worried my interest rate would be through the roof, but the staff worked well with me and got me a great deal with the bank as well. Auto Country also makes sure that all cars are running perfectly ans stand behind their cars once they are sold. This was a very good first experience buying from a car dealership.

I had a particular used car in mind and Auto Country had it. The price was reasonable, the people were nice (especially Peter Gallagher), the negotiating was painless, the paperwork was practically painless. The one area of improvement was that they don't have the actual titles with the rest of the paperwork, that took one more day to arrive, which cost me one extra trip to the RMV. However, that was the only slight surprise. Overall, if they have your used car you're in luck.

I am writing this review based on my recent experience with Auto Country Inc. Having owned my previous vehicle for almost 10 years, I was very hesitant with buying my new vehicle. I had spoken with multiple private parties who were selling used vehicles, but was reluctant to buy used from a dealership. Auto Country changed that. After a brief description of the vehicle I was interested in was given to Stephanie Fagan, it seemed it was minutes later I received a phone call that Auto Country had found what I was looking for. After test driving the vehicle and talking with Dwayne Crosby, I new this was the vehicle I wanted to purchase. A day or two later Michael fagan and myself reached an agreement and the sale was completed. Auto Country was quick and easy as well as friendly and helpful.

Because I have good credit, he found me a great rate at one of the banks they finance through (2.5%!!!) Love my new Truck and would highly recommend stopping by Auto Country for your next used car. From the moment I walk on they're dealership I was treated with fast and friendly service, in fact, it was past they're work hours of 7:00p and I was still greeded and help by Gilly the first time I went there. My credit is less than average and had ran into trouble with other dealerships. After telling him what kinda of vehicle I wanted Gilly explained to me the process of a car loan and specifics I would need to complete that loan. I purchased a 1998 Cadillac Sts at AutoCountry and I am so happy that I did. I was concerned that the mileage was high (112,000) but Mr. Gill assured me that it's not like the "old days" when you steered clear of any car that had more than 75,000 - 100,000 miles. I wanted to be sure that the car was safe to transport my child. I was assured that the entire car would be checked over and any issues or concerns would certainly be taken care of before I was allowed to drive the car off the lot. Well, that was 2 months ago and I am just THRILLED with my car and the service and friendliness of the staff at AutoCountry. I would recommend them to everyone I know.
