This could potentially be my least stressful car-buying experience to date. Greg and Maggie run a great company, and truly go out of their way to ensure you are completely comfortable before making a buying decision. Their cars are in excellent condition, and it is apparent that Greg truly understands cars, and how to ensure that they are in top working order before offering them up for sale. In speaking with his prior customers, he does indeed stand behind his work. I put a thousand miles on the A6 I purchased from him within the first week of ownership, and did my best to find anything that wasn't 100% perfect with this car, and was not able to find a single thing.

If your reading this and other reviews it's because you are skeptical like I was initially. To make a long story short I purchased a BMW 535i over two years ago for my wife. If your wondering how that went I ended up purchasing an x5 50i for myself about a year later. If your wondering how that went my daughter purchased a Mercedes coupe from Greg about a year after that. I guess you can put two and two together and realize we are happy since we keept coming back.I would also like to tell you that Greg stands 100% by his vehicles. I've had regular maintenance done and he doesn't price gouge. I've had minor recalls on my X5 and he took car of it immediately/ no cost. You would be making a mistake by skipping over this dealership. Just go take a look for yourself . You will experience that Greg and Maggie won't try to sell you anything because the cars speak for themselves and they will sell if you dont jump on it. He has this family as customers for life. I never write reviews but this I had to share.

I have purchased two (2) BMW's from Craig. 2011 535 and most recently a 2014 550 M-Sport. Just received the 550 two weeks now and so far flawless. The 2011 had a complete warranty from BMW for everything including oil changes, not sure if the 550 has that pkg. (oil changes) I know BMW covers the standard warranty on cars that fall within the mileage/year parameters. Craig and Maggie are good people. A little slow email-wise LOL, but all in all, I plan to do business with them for many years Glenn Slade

Three years ago I purchased a 2012 Infiniti 37x which had only a few hundred miles on the odometer. The car had some water damage, according to Greg, and he assured me that the car would be fine after they reconditioned the car. The interior was completely dismantled when I saw the car for the first time. Long story short, the Infiniti now has 48,000 miles with absolutely no problems and still runs like a new car. Oh, about a year ago I had a warning light come on! Took the car back to Autohaus and 30 minutes later it was fixed and there was no charge! The day after my car was totaled in an accident, I stopped by to inquire on pricing for a replacement to my car, a BMW X3. I was dreading the process of shopping around for another car and never thought that I would find my new car in one day! Greg and Maggie made the whole process enjoyable and highly satisfying. Greg was upfront about the history of the car and the fact that he stands behind his work with a lifetime warranty on anything connected to the damage was very reassuring. I did my homework and asked around about Greg and Maggie's reputation in town (no one knows better than long term residents). I discovered that they have conducted business in Naugatuck for over 25 years, have an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau and are the recipients of several outstanding service awards. And Naugatuck residents sing their praises for making customer satisfaction their top priority. I am absolutely crazy about my new car which drives like a dream and I am so thankful to Greg and Maggie for a wonderful experience. The scheduling of my first oil change went smoothly and was completed timely and efficiently. All said, I will not hesitate to purchase another car from Autohaus in the future and have already recommended them to friends who are looking for high end vehicles with low mileage. I'm only slightly regretting my telling friends as I feel like I am losing my best kept secret!

We bought two BMWs for Greg and Maggie about three months ago. Did not comment immediately, so that the excitement has settled and good rational thinking prevails. Yes, it was the best car buying experience and we did not miss the flashy showroom and artful sales people instead, we found very knowledgeable advice, great insight, honesty and absolutely no pressure. Yes, we read the two negative comments and tried to make reasonable sense of them; they were true: the cars are rebuilt salvage cars and AutoHaus is very open and straightforward about the issue and the real history - those two comments come from people who did not buy and missed on the customer experience. While the thought of salvage is discouraging and frightening, on line comment from real buyers, most of them repeat customers, is encouraging. There is absolutely no bad record at Better Business Bureau BBB (AutoHaus holds a top A+ rating with no blemishing facts since 2002) which really speaks for itself as discontented customers are always more vocal than satisfied ones. We also met other customers, all of them repeat customers who were very laudative of both purchase experience and the service surprisingly some repeat customers came from very far away!!! Do not get unsettled by sometime slow response to phone messages or emails this is a small business and this does happen at large BMW dealerships too. Greg and Maggie are very responsive and forthcoming, have a great know-how of their products (BMW, Mercedes and Audi), are always patient and accommodating, ready to help, pleasant and low key. I believe the salvage cars are carefully selected, then rebuilt from ground up. You will not know the difference. We drove our two cars extensively over the last three months and never had any problems. We are appreciative of Greg and Maggie, and grateful for the joy of driving these wonderful machines. 9 years ago I found a Nissan Maxima through an internet search site that led me to Autohaus Inc. While Nissan vehicles are not typically sold by Autohaus, the vehicle was still clearly treated with the same attention as the other high end vehicles sold at this location. I had a great experience dealing with Greg at the time, and have held onto the Maxima for 9 years and 180k+ miles. That quality of vehicle led me to only refer to Autohaus when looking for a newer, higher end vehicle within a reasonable price range. It was very good dealing with Greg once again, and was also able to work with Maggie through my car search and purchase. Both are extremely friendly and willing to assist with my car buying needs. They are very accomodating and helpful with information about their vechicles as well as offering recommendations about what to look for and avoid with specific cars. Once again, I ended up buying a car from them, this time a 2012 Audi A6 Prestige. I fully expect to also use Autohaus for my vehicle servicing, as I trust that Greg and his team will know how to properly treat my vehicle. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a high end vehicle to go to Autohaus, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Greg and Maggie!

I had purchased a 2012 audi s4 with 6k from Greg and Maggie; I'm very happy with the purchase and will definately go back to get my next car there. They were honest from the second I called them regarding the car throughout the process and I would say even now about a few months later feel the same. There was a minor problem, I was adviced to bring the car back they took care of it and had me in a loaner so I don't miss work. Trust is very important in this business and I definately trust Autohaus!!!

I purchased an Infiniti G37x from Autohaus a few months back and waited to write a review until I dealt with all aspects of the purchase experience (service - being the one I only experienced recently). Lets start off at the beginning.. Found a bargain on cars.com and decided to contact the dealer. After speaking to Greg over the phone I decided to come in for a closer look. After arriving, I was quickly approached and any questions I had were immediately answered. Straight forward, no BS, no pressure. Once we had a price set, I applied for credit and decided I needed a day or two to "sleep on it." After doing more research I decided to pull the trigger and came back a few days later to complete the deal. The car had 1400 miles on it and still had the new car smell when I picked it up. No issues up until last month when I heard a sound coming from the front suspension. I decided to call Greg and after describing the problem he recommend I bring the car in. I live an hour away from the dealer so bringing it in to be looked at, then waiting for parts to be ordered, and then dropping the car off would have been a big inconvenience. Surprisingly, after describing the problem, Greg told me to bring the car in the next afternoon and that he has a good idea of what the issue is caused by and that he will have the necessary part ordered and ready. WOW. So I arrived at the dealer the next day and had their technician inspect and fix my car. All done within an hour. That gave me an idea of how Autohaus treats their service customers and I am very happy with the purchase and would come back for my next car. As for the negatives; advertised with a heated steering wheel but no such option on the car (in hindsight I should have been more careful inspecting it before purchase), car was not washed prior to pick-up but once I asked about it I was sent to the car wash down the street for a free wash

My mother fell in love with a specific vehicle during her first visit to Autohaus Inc. She wanted to put down a deposit on that vehicle but was unable to do so because the vehicle was on hold for a potential buyer that was undecided. My mother was willing to leave a larger deposit on the vehicle but Greg declined her offer and said "My business is based on my reputation". He then asked my mother to put herself in that customers shoes and asked how would she feel if he didn't keep his promise until she made a decision. From that point on, my mother was sold. My mother has purchased a 2012 Audi a6 and six months later I purchased a 2012 Audi a5. We both love and enjoy our vehicles. Greg and Maggie are always sure to provide great customer service and fulfill our needs. During the car purchasing process, Greg and Maggie were willing to answer any and all questions. The purchasing process for my vehicle took longer than expected but best off all, Greg took time away from his family to personally deliver my Audi a5 on Christmas Day...it was the best Christmas gift ever! My experience with Autohaus started in 2005 after my brother purchased a 2004 Audi S4. The car was amazing and my brother got an amazing deal. At the time I had already purchased a new car but remember Greg telling me to stop down when I was ready to purchase another car. Fast forward to 2013 and it was time for both my wife and I to purchase cars. Greg and Maggie were very helpful, I purchased a 2011 BMW 750i (M Sport) and my wife purchased a 2012 Mercedes C300 Sport. Our cars have been nothing but a pleasure, my only regret is not buying a car from Greg and Maggie sooner. Later in 2013 I was in need of a pickup, I of course stopped down to see Greg and got my hands on a 2005 Dodge Dakota he had taken in on a trade. I've had nothing but great dealings with the staff at Autohaus and send all my family and friends to them to purchase vehicles, in fact my mother just purchased a 2011 Infinity EX35. In conclusion, give Autohaus a look if you're in the market or just browsing, you will for sure see something you like. Remember the S4 my brother purchased in 2005, he's since moved to Florida and still owns and drives the Audi!!

My wife and I had been searching for a quality used SUV for many months and came across Autohaus on the web. We visited Autohaus on a busy Saturday and were greeted by the owner (Greg) as we walked the lot examining the great inventory of german automobiles. We test drove a Mercedes ML 350 that was in impeccable condition inside and out. The car ran and drove great, and Greg answered all of our questions. He's clearly proud of the business he has built, taking the time to provide a tour of his facility and descibing the history of the cars for sale on the lot. We highly recommend Autohaus for anyone in need of a quality automobile who is seeking a dealer that will stand behind his inventory and business 100%. Maggie, Greg's inside Manager, was a joy to work with and handled all the necessary paperwork (she also spent time programming the bluetooth and SAT). We couldn't be happier with our ML 350 and decision to buy from Autohaus!

I have bought 3 vehicles from Autohaus Inc, My first Vehicle a 2000 Acura Integra GSR,a fully loaded car back in 2002 , Greg and his team were very upfront about the cars history, they approached me with pictures of the condition of the car before i even committed to purchasing as well as what the process was about getting the car back to being a brand new car,The car had 3,800 miles practically barely used, Autohaus inc made that transaction painless and at the end of day. second vehicle 2000 Honda Civic, again, absolutely no issues at all that car has 225K today.My last purchase was a 2008 BMW as always no issues with the process, i have referred countless family and friends to Autohaus Inc and will continue to as far as service goes, you couldn't ask for better service, even small issues that any dealer would most likely ignore Autohaus as taken the time to address them and made sure i was happy and has never charged me for small issues that i had always took care of me and the people i referred to them and those that do buy from them save THOUSANDS

Shopping for a used vehicle can be stressful, but our experience at Autohaus has been one of the best! Between the quality of their vehicles, the non aggressive/honest sales personnel and low APR financing, you can't go wrong. As a Police Officer, I would describe myself as a skeptical individual. That skepticism changed when I found out that people in my department like the Captain, Leutenants, Segeants and Patrolman all purchased multiple cars over the years from Autohaus. Now that I purchased my wife a BMW 535, she is VERY happy to say the least. I'm keeping an eye on the inventory because I will be purchasing another vehicle for myself. Buyers, One thing I experienced with the seller is that they are not very upfront on disclosing that the vehicles are "salvaged titled" vechicles. If you do NOT want to buy a salvaged car.. then you might just hyave saved a trip. They might work perfectly after they have been fixed indeed, however, it is important for any buyer to know what you are buying. Net, if you do not mind that, and the bargain price appeals enough is all good. Just better to know upfront that this is the case. I am also finding very curious that not a single one of the reviews here seems to indicate that the cars dont have clean titiles, just find it strange.. Strange...

The best thing about buying a car from the owner (Greg) is first and foremost a mechanic at heart and not just a sales person. He tells you the truth, plain an simple, and really knows his stuff. The buying process was smooth with no pressure. The assurances were the best. I was shopping for a high end used car from a quality dealer who was cost competitive. I read the reviews of Autohaus in Naugatuck CT and of it owners Greg/Maggie and went to visit them. It was my first time buying a used car as I always bought new. Greg diligently walked me through the process with his selection of cars, the service at his dealership, the warranty. Greg provided expert knowledge on the makes, models and years on the high end German and Japanese cars that I was evaluating. The selection and buying process was the best that I have ever had, even in comparison to the high-end new car dealers. I will definitely be going back to Autohaus for future cars.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Autohaus may not have the fanciest dealership or the quickest responses to emails but they do sell top quality cars at attractive price points. Spend the time and go there in person to speak with Greg. His knowledge and business approach instills confidence and leaves customers very happy. I bought the Mercedes 2009 E350 more than 2 years ago. I am very happy with my purchase and experience with Autohaus car. I recently found some high pitch noise from the tensioner pulley and called Autohaus for repair under warranty. They replaced tensioner pulley and replaced idler pulley. They also inspected the car and found small leak on transmission pan and addressed the leak by replacing new gasket. I am very pleased with extra preventative care (idler pulley replacement, new gasket replacement) they provide for the car free of charge. They have great cars and very happy with service they have provided. I highly recommend Autohaus.

I think it odd how not one reviewer or this dealer's listing state that their cars are not clean titled cars. They all have salvage or buyback titles. When you call and ask, they are honest about it but they should really state something in the listings.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2010 Mercedes Benz E350 from Greg and Maggie. This was our first purchase of an automobile in this class and we were both somewhat anxious. We went to quite a few dealers before going to Greg who was reccomended to us. Greg took the time to answer any and all questions regardless of how naive they may have sounded. When we left after our first meeting, we knew we had found the right fit. I emailed about three different cars, only getting three weird response or being ignored. I even left a voicemail basically pleading for someone to please call me with more information...of course no response to that either. Don't waste your time like I did!

Greg and Maggie go out of there way to make sure you are satisfied and explain everything in detail. Any service, repairs or issues that have to be handled are done professionally and quickly. In addition to a great selection on his lot, Greg will also find you a car if you give him the time to do so. One last note - don't be concerned by the lack of a fancy showroom with marble floors or free coffee. This is a no-nosense, no gimmicks place to buy a decent used car at a great price. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Gregg since 2006. My first was a 2005 Acura RL with 13,000 miles. The car was serviced at Autohaus during the time I owned the vehicle. I recently sold the vehicle with 118,000 miles on it - AND GOT TOP$$ FOR IT. Then recently went back to Autohaus and purchased a 2009 BMW 328I X Drive (April 2011). Buying a car from Autohaus is an experience like no other. . . I bought my car (a land rover product) without test driving it! Greg and his team are true professionals who don do any fancy sales pitches. They are technically competent throughout the process. The team walks the talk -- repair work is done promptly and very efficiently. If you need a loaner for any reason they have a few available.
