Very disappointed in every way. As a woman i think it's very difficult to find an honest mechanic. For some reason I felt like going through a dealership I would be treated fairly and could trust them. After all, both my vehicles are fords so who better to take care of them than ford? I called to schedule an appointment for my ford ranger. Called several times, left messages - never received a call back. i finally got it in because I just kept calling. I let them know that the AC was blowing out hot air and Id like an estimate to repair that. Also it needed an oil change and i had received a recall notice that both passenger and driver airbags needed replaced. Immediately I was told that the passenger side airbag was on order and wouldn't be in that day which was totally ok with me. Next day came and went. The Day after that I got a call to let me know that there is nothing wrong with my air conditioner (which when turned on feels like you opened an oven door) and that the other airbag still wasn't in. I argued that something definitely is wrong with the AC to please check again (never happened). I wasn't upset that the airbag still wasn't in- that isn't there fault but long story short...my truck sat there over a week and finally I needed it back. I called and let them know I was picking it up. I got there and was ready to pay. I was told no charge. I asked if the oil change was free?? Oh....umm...the oil change? Never done even though they had it a week. They said I'd get a call in the next day or two when the passenger side airbag came in and that when I brought it back for that they would do an oil change. I said ok but was definitely starting to feel irritated. That was over a week ago. No one has even called yet and I know my oil due to be changed. I checked it today and it was lower than would show on the stick. I'm lucky I didn't burn up my engine. I added enough to make it show up but i need to get it in ASAP. I WILL NOT be calling and begging ford for anymore appointments. The time before this experience was less than desirable as well. It's time to find a new mechanic.

Before shelling out over $500 on estimated service repairs on a "broken" door handle in my Ford at Autonation Ford of P.C., I decided to check out another option---a collision repair center. Lucky for me the entire guts of the door handle mechanism wasn't even broken...the cable had just popped loose. It took a collision guy 20 minutes to repair it for FREE. FYI: broken door handles are notorious in Fords (according to the collision guy, You Tube, and Google sites), but oddly, NO RECALLS yet issued. Glad I shopped around and saved my ton of money.

I do not enjoy shopping, especially for cars. As a first time car buyer (off a lot), I would like to shout out to Andres of Panama City, Florida AutoNation. If all car salesman were Andres, I believe more people would less reluctant to go to a car dealership. An experience I thought would be a couple of hours turned out to be an all day process, literally. While Andrew was tentative in meeting my needs, he met the needs of my family, as well. Including my newborn grandson. What a guy Andres is. I would recommend this AutoNation to everybody. I went to five car lots prior to going to AutoNation in Panama City, Florida; and I am thankful I held out for Ford and Andres. Many thanks Andres!!

The worst experience I have ever had with a dealership in my life. I could not even get a quote on my car and when I had the oil changed now I cant even keep it running it just shuts off and they charged me for parts they say they changed but did not and let some animal sleep on and scratch it and the hair is still all over it. I will never return.

It was well past time to get the ex's name off my car title, and the only way I could get it done without him being involved was to trade that old car in. C.R. On November 1, 2014 my wife and I bought a Used 2008 VW Eos. I was sold to us by Calvin R. We purchased the car for high average retail price as it was clean and certified by Ford (160 point inspection) with a six week warranty. After driving the car over the weekend we returned it to have a stereo speaker repaired / replaced. This took them a week to complete and we received the car back for the following weekend. We drove it home and to one function over the weekend and returned it to the dealership with the following problems:-The retractable top is disrupted during the retraction process. The driver side interior pillar trim is binding with part of the top assembly causing the retraction to stop in mid function. (Witnessed by the salesman when the car was picked up after the first repair.)-The driver side rear window is binding with the same interior trim mentioned above causing it to malfunction during operation. This is not limited to the retraction process as it will malfunction during standard operation of the window. (Also witnessed by salesman after first repair)-The multi-zone climate control system is malfunctioning. When in cooling mode with the air conditioner on, the driver side outside upper vent is blowing heat. (From the heater, not just outside air) All other vents are discharging cold refrigerated air.-There is a significant fluid leak coming from the passenger side front part of the engine. (by the wheel) Assuming transmission fluid as it is red in color but I am not sure. Overnight Thursday, a puddle of approximately 12" in diameter formed.It took four weeks more before our car was returned, dirty, with low air pressures and less a quarter a tank of gas. We were told that they were "doing us a favor". Really!? When I ask for the six week warranty to be adjusted to the date we finally received the car we were told no. Our six week warranty is now down to a week and we have driven the car less than 150 mikes. THANK YOU FOR YOUR generous FAVORS. Meanwhile we paid both a month of note and insurance on a car that we had not been in possession. We will never buy a car from this dealership again!

I came into the dealership in late spring and wanted a F150 with a 5.4L engine but it was not available. Mike recommended the 3.5L Ecoboost engine but wasn't happy with the engine and left. I came back in September and purchased a new F150 4x4 with the Ecoboost V6. As of this date, everything Mike said about the Ecoboost V6 was true and correct, much to my shugrin. First off let me say I research everything before I make a major purchase, from the item to the person I intend to see when the time comes to buy the product. This was one of the few times I walked into an establishment without a particular salesman in mind. My husband arrived first in the trade-in & much to my chagrin wearing a very weathered work shirt. Nick greeted him & immediately upon seeing the branding on my husband's shirt told him about Rock Tenn's partnership with Ford & the incentive offer that was afforded to their employees. Astoundingly, things only got easier from there. True Pricing makes negotiating all but a thing of the past. I've bought a lot of new cars over the years, but this was the first time I hadn't bought one locally. I had tried to deal with the local dealership and they were giving me a pretty elaborate run around. I contacted AutoNation and they handled everything over email, texts and phone calls. The first time I stepped on the lot was to sign the papers for my new car. I couldn't have asked for a better sales team. Mike Wood and his Sales Manager were incredibly helpful and trusting. Purchased a 2014 Mustang, the Mustang I wanted would have been a special order and the fact I wanted the 2014 in late July early August made that impossible. Vince S. worked very hard to find the car I wanted, only 4 within the Auto Nation network south of Interstate 40. Vince was able to get one delivered to my local dealership within 24 hours of completing the transfer paperwork. As far as the actual purchase process was an excellent experience, no pressure, no hidden fees or added extras and they gave me a more than fair value for my trade-in.

I had my vehicle towed to their facility and was quoted a price of over $1,000 for repairs. I had my truck towed off their lot to another repair shop and they fixed it for $160.00. Check around before having your vehicle repaired by them. Don't be afraid to have your vehicle towed off their lot to be fixed somewhere else, the tow was only $30. Be aware of this place and check around with other repair shops.

Very infrequently does anyone have a truly rewarding experience with a car dealer. My humble opinion. I happened to see a vehicle (SVT Raptor) from the road and watched it for a long time. It wasn't selling but I wasn't in the market for a new car because I owned several older but well maintained cars. I also knew because it was a Raptor, I would never own such a wonderful and expensive truck. While riding around one day, my older son from Atlanta said, " Every time we pass this dealership, I see you rubber necking into the lot. What are you looking at in there?" I replied, "Just something I'll never have." He said, "Well let's go in there and look at it." So I showed it to him. While we were out there, Jason, a salesman, approached us and asked if he could help us out with anything. That began a process that led to me driving out of Autonation Ford with the most beautiful dream come true truck I have ever seen. Jason, I mentioned by name because of the type of man he proved himself to be. He worked very hard for many hours to help me get my new truck. His persistence and unyielding willingness to compromise and ensure my total satisfaction with every facet of the sale reflected so well on this dealer. It restored a level of faith in new car dealers that elevated them in my eyes forever. many if not most potential customers walk into a showroom completely overwhelmed, not just with the product itself but the actual magnitude of choices available. And this Raptor was indeed a major purchase. To this day, I have no regrets, no remorse and remain totally delighted with my new truck. I actually can't believe it's mine. I stopped in Auto Nation to check out three F-150's that the representative (CR Rish) had notified me about. I had recently retired, we had two vehicles and only needed one, and I had never owned a Ford. It was thought before arriving that none of the three met our requirements for color. However, it was learned after arriving that an interior thought to be black was actually gray and after a few hours at the dealership we left with our replacement truck. Purchased a 2011 Pre-certified Ford Fusion. Sales person (Spencer) was outstanding. We visited 4 other lots and just found what we wanted at autonation. It was the right car with the right warranty. Having said that, we would not have purchased the car if the overall experience was pushy, stressful, or otherwise unnaceptable. Once we purchased the car a piece in the A/C went out and we had to take it back for service. The service experience was also outstanding. David in the service department provided outstanding service. We also take out 2005 F-150 truck into the same location for service and the experience is always outstanding. -- The facilities for the used car lot are OK but not very impressive.

I bought a 2011 F150 EXT 4WD new at this dealership when I lived near Panama City, FL and recently traded it for a Ford Fusion in Georgia where I now live. But, I must say I had the most exceptional experience at this dealership from the onset. The salesman Brad and the finance guy Bobby made the sale seamless and actually pleasurable. Brad called me many times to make sure all was well with the truck and Bobby helped me with not only the sale but extended warranty and and a service contract "after" the sale. The service department is top drawer and I always found everyone in the dealership friendly and helpful. These guys were awful. My 2003 F-150 blew a head gasket, should have lasted a lot longer than 106,000 miles. They said that they wanted to earn my business for a new F-150. They didn't even try. If you want to buy only what is on the lot and pay MSRP to indifferent salespeople, this is the place. Do yourself a favor...go down the street to Panama City Toyota and buy a Tundra, and save yourself $15k; PC Toyota cares about their customers, CW Ford does not.

He set up the SYNC & registered us for that feature. Everyone there was friendly and knowledgeable about their product. They made the process very easy. I highly recommend Cook-Whitehead Ford.

I have been buying Fords from this dealership since 1977 and have always been very happy with the process and all follow on services. On Friday, March 22 we went looking for a car at Cook-Whitehead Ford. We had looked at cars on the computer, And really like the Fusion & the Focus. When we arrived at the dealership Billy Provost came out to meet with us & asked what we were looking for, he let us test drive both cars. We liked them both. Billy did the paperwork on the Fusion which we loved. When the price came back over our budget, he went back to run the financial for the Focus. We were very happy that the price was in our budget. We found the employees at Cook-Whithead couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Before we took the Focus, Billy showed us how to work all the features in the car. He even registered us for SYNC---That's a really cool feature.We were very happy with the service at Cook-Whitehead & would definately recommend this Ford dealer.

Wonderful showroom and selection. Very impressed with the salesmans knowledge of the product and willingness to work with the buyer. Willing to negotiate on the price. Good selection of add on and extended warranty options. Would advise being very careful in negotiations on options, because I sometimes felt misled, as there were differences in what I was being told was included and what was actually in the sales contract.

CR was my sales rep, I have to say I made this sale difficult for him. CR gave me a fair deal on the truck. I had backed out of the deal at one point due to me being 600 miles away I called him back a couple of days later and asked him if the truck was still available and it was. He helped me by getting the truck transported to me down to South Florida. He was patient with me while I got my bank draft ready for him with my local credit union. Bottom line I purchase vehicles quite often and it was a real joy to work with CR everything he told me about my truck was true and I would strongly recommend Cook Whitehead Ford to anyone Michael G

We recently bought a 2013 Focus SE Sedan from William Harlow. We got it home that night and noticed little dots all over the hood and top of the car. We took it back in and was told it was rail dust. They said they could fix it but my wife was not satisfied with having her new car in the shop after one day. After speaking with William and Chris Cogburn(Sales Manager) about our dilemma, they let my wife pick out another car and we are now the owners of a White Focus SE 5-door Hatchback. My wife loves the car and we are very grateful to everyone involved in making our experience a pleasant one. Traded in my car for Edge 2010.Billy was very helpfull, but was very disapointed with who ever certified the Edge.My battery went dead the next day, the CD did not work and the reverse light, one of them, did not work.After a few trips to the service dept. all is good.

We bought a new Focus from this dealer and from salesman Jason Jeter. We trust Jason explicitly and have now bought 3 vehicles from him. However, the vehicle we purchased came with a "dead" key, dents in the roof and door, and a transmission problem. Leaving the vehicle with them for a week, the issues are still not repaired because people were on vacation. Now we have to find more time to leave it for a more extended time period. We hope that it will be fixed properly.

They managed to turn my drive shaft 180 degrees resulting in severe driveline vibration, but they don't believe it is their responsibility. More details below:I drop off my truck for scheduled appointment to balance wheels. Four hours later, they finally look at it and ask about changing some U-Joints and similar work. I approve the work. . What they didn't tell me was "It's gonna take all day". At the end of the day it seemed worse than ever and they said they ran out of time to balance the wheels. REMEMBER -- that's why I took it there. They are so sorry, but if I can bring it back first thing in the morning (7AM), they'll get those wheels balanced.THE NEXT DAYSo I do a quick turn around and a hour long drive gets me back the next day at 7AM so they can get on it "right away". (We're still just talking about a wheel balance. ) Five and one half hours later they tell me the truck is done but believe the vibration isbeing caused by something else. I've now spent over $650 and they now think the real problem is an out of balance drive shaft caused by a balancing weight coming off. They recommend another service company that specializes in this work, but I ignore their advice, which by now seems to be the only "good" advice.Two months later, and I find out what's wrong with my truck. After arriving back at my summer residence the local garage, after about three hours of assorted checking, adjusting and wondering finally called me and asked " IS THERE ANY CHANCE THEY" (cook whitehead)" COULD HAVE PUT THE DRIVE SHAFT 180 DEGREES BACKWARDS ?" SO after another $250 the damage done by COOK WHITEHEAD is fixed. So I'm around $900 . I felt I should have financial participation from Cook Whitehead and despite letters sent by me with copies of all repair bills and a referral letter from FORD MOTOR CO> NO response from WHitehead.

Ford Fiesta 2011, sole to me for 18,000Leaving the lot the steering wheel started to rub, offered to fix it, but NOT under warranty.394 miles on vehicle. (where from) GOOD QUESTION! Two weeks in, brakes start to squeal. They get worse, and worse and worse. Called them, they only documented twice out of the 5 times, and continued to tell me, they were new, they squealed beacause of this and they were fine. NO FIXING DONE! (I am a single mother, who drives around with my kid, and this dealership was an hour away)1 month in, tires going flat, and oil needed changed. Per dealer, normal.2 months in, check engine light comes on, Per dealer, sensor.3 months in, car starts to drive jumpy. Take it in, dealer does a test and realizes ""something"" is wrong, and will call me with what.10 days later, NO CALL! I call, Per dealer, they had to order a part and would call me when in.7 days later, they get the part, and make me an appointment.Go for my appointment, TURNED AWAY! Per dealer, they did not have time to do what they needed.Asked for Gm, Cust svc and sales manager, Per dealer, theyd get back to meFINALLY met with the sales manager, Randy, who offered to buy it back for, get this 11,000.Told me he had no incentive to help me since I did not want to do business with FORD. Said he felt GOOD about his trade in number and everything I had gone through and lastly, wouldnt bother Him at all if people knew.People, DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT Buy a vehicle or do business with this dealership. There are no morals, no truths, no cares, no concerns and certainly NO vehicle safe to drive.

The buying process at Cook-Whitehead Ford was excellent. Brad Bonewit was referred to me from a family member who had an excellent process on his truck. I mentioned to Brad was I was looking for and price range. He immediately arranged possible F150s on his lot and when even further and looked at other dealers if I was not happy with the trucks on his lot. My wife purchases the vehicle while I was on a remote job. He and his team worked with my wife during the purchase and trade-in. When I purchase a second vehicle, I will not hesitate to contact Mr. Bonewit for further business.

I gave Cook Whitehead a very difficult challenge, to meet the best price I'd found on the internet in a week of near constant searching. They not only met the price, but bettered it. The entire process was professional, friendly, courteous and smooth. I wouldn't think of shopping elsewhere for another Ford.

I have never seen a dealer care less about a sell. I negotiated for some time trying to find the exact truck I wanted. After realizing trading my car would not be in my best interest I decided to sell it myself. I was assured that they could get me any truck I wanted with in a couple of days. I sold my truck and got back with the dealer and settled on the exact truck I wanted. They found the truck at another dealer and we made a deal, settling on a price. I was told by the sales manager the truck would be ready in a couple of days. That suited me fine since I had to be away on business for 2 days anyway. While I was away on business I received a call notifying me that in fact they couldn't get the car I had negotiated to purchase. They then made a few half hearted attempts to find a replacement and then nothing. Total lack of customer service.

I recently was in the market for a new F-250. I was referred by a friend to the internet sales clerk at Cook-Whitehead Ford. I sent Mr. Bonewit a simple email listing my requirements for the truck I was looking for. The truck was unique and had a couple features that are not common for Florida (block engine heater). I only had about 48 hours before I was going to be leaving the area. Mr. Bonewit stated give him 24 hours to locate a truck. I received a call the next day. I asked for a quote through email (quote for out the door with tax and tags). He sent me a quote immediately which was several thousand dollars less than several dealerships in North Ga and northern Alabama had quoted me for a similar vehicle. The next day I went down to the dealership where my truck was ready for pickup. They had filled the tank, cleaned it up, and had it waiting out front. I spent less than one hour going over paperwork. Then Mr. Bonewit gave me a complete show and tell of all the features on my truck, including sync my phone to the radio system. Everyone I met at Cook-Whitehead Ford were the nicest people I have ever come across when buying a vehicle. No pressures, no rushing, just friendly smiles. They won my business for life with their friendly upfront atmosphere! Best dealership I have dealt with after 7 vehicle purchases. Top-notch!

Bobby Burch at Cook-Whitehead is an outstanding and very honest man to deal with. I told him up front I have a brain injury from Iraq and that I would need him to be patient with me. He spent two weeks via email talking with me about what I was interested in and he went above and beyond in completing the sale with me. Bobby took a tremendous amount of time with me over those two weeks and meeting him in person and buying a car from him was just as exhaustive for him as the previous two weeks I'm sure! Bobby remained patient and never expressed any frustration with me even though I was going back and forth about whether or not I wanted to buy the car. However, Bobby and everyone at Cook-Whitehead were honest and patient! If Bobby lived close to me, I would seriously desire a friendship with him. That's the kind of guy he is. Unbelievable that in this day and age, there's an honest, straight forward car dealership out there! From Bobby the salesman to Joey Hobson the GM, I was treated with respect, honesty, patience and friendliness that simply cannot be found anywhere else. Of all the vehicles I've purchased over the last 20 years, Cook-Whitehead was BY FAR the best experience I've EVER had! VERY much worth the 90 mile drive I had to make to get there from out of state. Even more impressive was that Bobby knew everything I needed to do to purchase a car from a Florida dealership since I live in Alabama. Even with the $300 in taxes I had to pay here in Alabama, this purchase was still cheaper than ANY dealership I could find in a 500 mile radius! No haggling, none of that back and forth junk, just a very fair price from the beginning that never changed as I went through the purchasing process. Oh, well, it did change actually. The price was LOWER when I got there because this dealership respects military people! If you're military, or even if you aren't, but to my fellow military folks, this is the place to buy your vehicle!!!!Just because I bought the car and drove away did NOT mean that I wouldn't hear from them again. I received a couple of phone calls asking me how things were going with the new 2011 Mustang GT and Bobby answered all of my questions and helped me to better understand the technology with the car. Even though he had explained it all at length with me at the dealership when I bought the car, I needed some additional help and what do you know? Bobby calls me and helps me out again. I've also received an email from the GM asking if I was happy with the car, the dealership and also asked if there was anything he could do for me. Since they had already sent me a certificate for a free oil change, which costs $65 in materials alone on this car, I let him know I was completely satisfied. I've NEVER had great things to say about a car dealership before, but I can guarantee you that if you see these folks, you WILL NOT be disappointed or left out in the cold after the sale.I know I sound like I'm gushing about this place, but trust me. I AM NOT usually a "gushing" type of person. Just ask my wife. However, Cook-Whitehead has impressed me so thoroughly I can't help but sound excited when I talk about them. I've already sent two folks to them who bought trucks and they were also extremely impressed with them! Just go to them and see for yourself. In particular, contact Bobby Burch, he is the Internet Sales guy. Easiest, most pleasant, buying experience I've ever had. And something else? The amount of time buying the car was SHORT! They are squared away and have streamlined the process so you aren't there ALL DAY LONG! God Bless and I hope you have as great of an experience as I did!

the sales manager slipped some lousy warrantees into the package without explaining that they were optional. the day after, i realized i'd been "hoo-dooed" (to use randy's term). when calling him on it, he said he meant no harm and would credit the 768 dollars to my loan. he never did so.he also said that if i never returned the satisfaction survey from Ford, that he would be able to help me with warrantee work. what a sleazeball.

Two months later I still have the problem. When I put the van in I was told they had to put the van on a diagnostic computer and that the fee for the diagnostic would be given as credit to the overall job if I decided to go along with the service. I then was told they had to fix all the codes on the diagnostic before they could descover why oil is getting on the spark plugs. I was a yes man at this point because I know I want the job done thats why I brought the vehicle in. Yes do the diagnostic, yes replace the spark plugs and yes replace the coil.Well about three weeks after I put the vehicle in I'm told to come test drive it and see if I'm O.K. with driving it even though the oil on he spark plug job was never fixed (600 doallars later). I saw no need in that. I want the job done that I put it in there to get done, but I went up there anyway. I was shown at that time why the oil was getting on the spark plugs and this is what I have a problem with.The mechanic took me into the service are and he sat infront of his pc. Then, reading off the monitor he tells me "it says here that with this make, model and amount of miles. You are expected to have problems with these bolts, which will make oil get n the plugs." in less than 3 min he gave me the information from the database that it took three weeks of diagnostic testing to not even get a solution. Why couldn't he do that in the first place. I was told that the job would cost 500 dollars. I would have rather paid 500 dollars to fix that in the begining than 600 dollars of things I didnt notice haveing a problem with besides the spark plugs of course. Then have me test drive it and make a decision.Because, when I took the advice and paid out and drove the van home it was a desaster. The next day my spouse was running aroung town and the van shut off on her. Actually 5 times that day while she was trying to get it home. I take the van back and tell them what happened and how I took it was them saying 'oh yea, by the way a vacuum leak is associated with this bolt problem','maybe'. You should get that fixed also. THE PROBLEMHUH? I was talked out of doing what I wanted and into what they wanted. Then to be tld to do what I wanted. My spouse was stranded several imbarassing times in one day. She hates our vehicle now and at one point blamed me!My van is still there. We ars supposed to negotiate tomorrow on a better price. I think 800 dollars is fair had I not had a bad experiance. For me to repeat a positve review of my experiance with Cookwhitheadford I want two pay that. Another 2oo dollars brings my overall total to 800 dollars and I want the van done by Thursday it has been two months now without our vehicle.This is my first step to reporting my complaint in written form. I will continue with the complaint process if terms can not be meet tomorrow verbally.
