Bought my vehicle at this dealership because I heard good things about them from a few coworkers. Not impressed at all with the service center. They are very high volume so I feel as I'm treated as just a number. No one seems to care to get to know you as a owner and customer. I'm not looking for Lexus service from Toyota but I've had other vehicles, even servicing them from places that I didn't purchase from, treat me better than this location. Seriously thinking about looking for another dealer to service the vehicle once the factory service plan ends later this year.

I feel that my free 1000 mile service that came due in July should have been honored when I came in in Sept. I had not reached the 1000 miles until the month of September. I am sure if I came in July they would not have honored it either since I had not met the mileage. Damn if you do and damn if you don't. Why have extended warentee?

Per our request for a used Prius, Tyler a brand new employee showed us a 2013 Prius and we took it for a test drive. It was in especially good condition and a Prius is noted for its reliability and impressive gas mileage. What we really liked was no sales pressure to purchase, so we went home to give it some thought and returned later in the evening to buy it. Since Tyler was in training, Bryce assisted us with the purchase. I highly commend all who assisted us. It was a very pleasant experience. We just love driving our Prius.

Don was great!! He took the time to show me and my wife all the cars that fit our budget and kinds of cars we wanted. He was never pushy!! Didn't try to show us anything that we couldn't buy or want. The finance team was efficient and friendly. The service department was cooperative allowing me to inspect the car on the rack as I am a mechanic myself. I will definitely do business with them again.

Car was using a too much amount of oil for number of miles being driven and had difficulty accelerating. Car failed an oil consumption test and pistons package was replaced by Toyota. Difference in the drivability was significant after the repair.

2007 Scion recall for an oil leak. NO problems prior to the recall!!! Pistons had to be changed/replaced. Brought the car in , got a loaner-4days later car was ready. Drove approximately 25 miles and something under the car was dragging!!! Diving on the toll, my daughter had to pull over and look-it was the engine protective shield dragging. She tucked it up and got to her destination-parked the car all weekend, as she left for a business trip. Upon returning she contacted the dealer, they said to bring it right in. Leaving her destination it came down again-as it was NOT secure. She pulled over, and a gentleman helped her tie it up on the side of the tollway. NEEDLESS TO SAY-TOYOTA WANTS TO CHARGE HER $700.00 THEY CLAIM SHE HIT SOMETHING! NEVER NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THAT CAR-AND AFTER THE ENGINE WAS OUT AND PUT BACK - NO DOUBT IT IS THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT FAULT. IM HAVING THE CAR LOOKED AT TODAY BY ANOTHER DEALER, IT WILL GO BACK IF WE FIND THEM AT FAULT!! ALSO, WHEN THE CAR WAS IN THE SHOP, THEY CALLED TO SAY THE SERPINTINE BELT AND WATER PUMP SHOULD BE REPLACED! WELL, WE TOLD THEM WHEN IT BREAKS WE WILL HAVE IT FIXED!!

i was sold used car they said 3 day buy back or 60day warranty i found problems with car they repaired a few things and stalled repairs and got the run around and finally i went and payed another dealership for repairs. air condition compressor and rack pinion beware of there words 60 day warranty the sales person that sold me the car no longer work there he quit i would never buy another car from this place I WOULD HAVE GAVE THEM LESS THEN 1 STAR IF POSSIBLE A - 10 VERY................... They had a nice car and we're fine through the test drive and negotiations. We had even agreed upon a deal for a used car and trade in and made an appointment to complete the transaction. We were on our way there when one of the sales managers, Michael, called to inform us that the car was sold. There had been no prior mention that the car may not be ours. This whole process was a colossal waste of my time. I will not do business again with this dealer. If you value your time, go somewhere else to buy your car. They have no respect for customers and have no problem cancelling an agreed upon deal.

I was satisfied with everything except the fact that the car I purchased was on empty. If we had wanted to take it for a test drive I guess we would have had to put gas in the car ourselves. When we left the dealer it was pouring rain and we had to find the nearest gas station. The gas gauge was on empty. Was worried we were not going to make it. Not a good way to do business.

I was looking for a dealer a little closer to my work to have my car serviced. A friend referred me to Libertyville Toyota. They were fantastic! They have always stuck to the time they have told me service will take, they have addressed all my concerns and brought recall items to my attention. After visiting a couple of other toyota dealerships we decided to head here. Great experience. In general id rather have a tooth pulled than deal with the normal dealer experience. We took a chance and couldnt be more pleased with our experience or the deal. Nick, our salesperson, was fabulous. We test drove several and he took his time with us. Fun, friendly, no pressure but really worked with us to get the deal done. I kept waiting for the shoe to drop and the normal dealer tricks to kick in..they didnt so when it was time to turn us over to finance, I thought, ok, here it comes. Again, excellent finance experience, quick, painless, no surprises. I highly recommend Nick and this dealership.

I bought a 2011 vehicle. The price was fine and the sales guy was nice. All fine there. But just before the warranty ran out clear until now, I have been getting 3rd party insurance companies call me constantly. They know car I have and when I bought it, but they definitely not Toyota. They are very seedy and do not care if you are on the national do not call list. When you start asking questions they hang up and just call back in a week. They won't even give me their company name. They say imply they are Totoyta like "we are the warranty department" but if you ask them they give a fake name like "National Warranty Center" It is flat-out harassment and I am so upset at this dealership for selling my number. I will make it a personal campaign to deter people from going there.

After several trips to a different Toyota dealership, in which I felt that I was being treated like I didn't have any intelligence, nor did my purchase matter, I decided to take my business to Jeff Vicari at AutoNation Toyota Libertyville. I could not be any happier that I did. I contacted Jeff Vicari prior to my arrival and told him exactly what I wanted in a 2015 Highlander XLE, and when I arrived that day, he had three matches waiting for me. I can't tell you how many dealerships that I have visited that didn't have stock of what I was looking for but "could get me whatever I wanted" for a fee, or a down payment. I didn't have to settle on my purchase at AutoNation Toyota Libertyville. Nor did I have to sacrifice being treated like a customer that mattered. Jeff Vicari was kind, professional, knowledgeable about all things Toyota, and an absolute pleasure to work with. There was absolutely no pressure at AutoNation, something I have never experienced at another dealership. Jeff was upfront with all costs, and showed us a detailed breakdown of the costs for the car; not just a number written on a piece of scratch paper. I would definitely recommend AutoNation Toyota Libertyville and Jeff Vicari! Financing and service have been just as great to work with! What a hassle free dealership!

Hard to negotiate. Got to deal price when I was about to sign up for another good deal. Same could have been offered on the first day!There are couple of sales persons(Luis, Dan) who are really good and friendly and helped the deal happen.. Many process constraints for those who come in to US from abroad, even if you are buying through full cash!.Over all though there were some haggles in the process and price, at the end deal was good.

I could not have worked with a better group of people. I was able to buy the car I wanted in the timing I needed. There was no pressure. Nick was great during the process for me to choose a car and took the time to really listen to my situation and work with me accordingly. Jimmy in finance was also great during that process and to make sure I was taken care of with everything. Toyota brand speaks for itself, of course - it's always great. But what made my experience just wonderful at this particular dealership was the sales representative - Arthur Zvagelski. Not only it was nice that it turned out he could speak Russian, but he did everything to make a customer feel welcome, satisfied and to leave a good association with the purchase and this place. And of course, he did his best to negotiate a wonderful price for us. We bought a Toyota Corolla 2015. Too bad this dealership isn't advertised on the Chicago's Russian radio "The People's Wave" - it's missing on thousands of new customers, who would have come had they known there was such a great Russian-speaking sales representative at this dealership. But that's the sales manager's oversight - I would have made this suggestion if we had a chance to meet. Anyway, the experience was awesome overall. Definitely highly recommended.

Interesting buying experience. Didn't really think I was buying when I came in at 8pm. They had the car I wanted and the best price. George Adame worked hard for this deal. I drove out of the dealership after 2:00am. Now, what salesman would stay that long an work that hard to transfer me from my 2006 into a 2015. In addition, it was noted that the car was due for some minor additional service, which was completed promptly. And the car was washed - most welcome during a Midwestern winter. First off, they do have very competitive prices. However, beware that there is a $600 charge for some useless theft engraving and trim that is already installed on the cars whether you want it or not and its tacked on to the price you see on the tag/online. Its not included, which seems like false advertising to me. I'm sure if you were the world's best negotiator you might be able to get them to bring it down, but just know you're going to be paying more than what you 1st see. We were there on a Saturday and it was quite busy. However, salesman was not pushy. We left without purchasing and came back to re-test drive our 2 favs. We decided to purchase a certified mini-van. We wanted to do our own financing, for which we had already been approved, but they would not hold the vehicle, even with a substantial check deposit. So we ended up doing their financing, which took forever. They will of course try to sell you all sorts of add-ons like carpet protection, floor mats, etc, but our salesman wasn't overly pushy (although he was all about the upholstery protection, they probably have the highest margin on that). My biggest gripe is that we purchased a certified vehicle which is supposed to have gone through a 100 point checklist. Yet after looking at the van in daylight the next day and not being exhausted from car shopping, we noticed 4 things that were quite obviously on the check list that needed to be fixed. One of which being a very small star crack in the windshield, which never should have gone unnoticed on a certified car. So I had to take the van back to them 2 times within the first 2 weeks for repairs, when these things should have been already taken care of when we bought the car. The service department was friendly and quick. I'd return to this dealership because they were friendly and had low prices, but I'd make sure I had my financing in hand, that we bought the car on a day we weren't out for 8 hours looking, and that I had a certified checklist right with me and went over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb and not assume because they say its certified and checked that they have caught everything.

My husband and I did our research and knew not only that Toyota was the best deal and fit for us, but that Libertyville Autonation would give us the best deal, and we were right. Because they sell in such high volumes, they are able to work with us and give us the fairest deal possible. My husband and I had a set budget in mind, and the sales and finance team worked together to get us the rate we wanted. We had a phenomenal sales associate, Thomas Howell. He was a pleasure to experience this process with not only for his knowledge, but for how comfortable he made us feel during this whole process. This was our first time buying a brand new car, and he never made us feel pressured. We were able to be honest with him about exactly what we wanted and he would go out of his way to make it happen for us. Our sale went late into the evening on a week day, and Thomas and the rest of the finance team stayed over 90 minutes past closing to ensure we had everything we needed and didn't leave with unanswered questions. I highly recommend this dealership. We drove away with a 2015 Toyota RAV4 XLE! We had an excellent experience! When you go, be sure to ask for Thomas Howell!

My wife and I hold on to our cars for 8 -10 years because we typically buy what we want and need, and take care of it....that and the car buying process is not real enjoyable. Luis Velazquez Was our sales person and took great care of. He was patient and answered our many questions with a smile. He was not pushy and listened to our needs and got us a great Highlander that we hope to have for 10 years. He stayed with us through the whole process and waved goodbye once we were done. The turning point for us to purchase our Prius was due directly to our sales rep, Nick Howell. Great guy, down-to-earth, honest and I'm convinced that he is a man of integrity: exactly what you want/need when shopping for a vehicle. He didn't gives a sale's pitch or try to 'hook us in'. I have driven Toyotas for the past 40 years and have purchased several cars from them. Jeff was professional and knowledgeable. I was in and out the door with my new vehicle in an hour and a half. When we waited for our papers to be prepared, Jeff was very attentive and I appreciated the way he came back to us to inform us of the progression and timing. I brought my Hybrid Highlander in because of problems with my radio, heater and concerns about my battery icon readings. Within an hour, my heater was fixed (screw in knob tightened), radio replacement recommended but not essential, and battery readings explained. Result - NO CHARGE, FREE CAR WASH! If my radio gets worse I will replace it in the future. A truly delightful experience. This experience built my confidence in this dealership to handle any problems that may arise in the future.

Took 08 Tacoma in for recall service. Easy to make appointment , friendly staff from start to finish. They top off all your fluids as soon as you pull in. ( nice touch). They explain everything before work is started. Waiting area has been remodeled so it's very comfortable. Free wi-fi, Donuts, coffee and popcorn. I have been using them for years and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend libertyville Toyota.

I recently bought a new Camry at this dealership and I had a very positive experience. I thought the sales rep Keith Habich was very attentive to what I wanted and took the time to answer all my questions. I found a vehicle on line that I was interested in. I spoke to an internet sales agent. when i arrived I was introduced to a Sales guy that was too energetic and didn't know anything about the Toyota vehicle I was interested in. He didn't know the answer to ANY of my questions. I did like, however, that their prices were non-negotiable.

Service representative Mauricio Ramos was very friendly. He told me I might need a 100 thousand mile checkup -- but I told him how much money I had and that if it needed something else done, then I would have to do the necessary items first. He assured me he would find out first and then get back to me. He came in a while later and said the rear brakes were not good and that should be fixed. The 100 thousand mile check up could be done at the next oil change. It was nice of him to do that and I really appreciated what he told me. I had to wait 3 hours, but he told me that in advance. I usually think that your service dept is very good and very helpful. Thanks much. Linda Rod

I purchased a brand new car from AutoNation Toyota in Libertyville. The prices here are way less than other dealers. My sales person was Paul Handler. He answered all my questions and was very helpful. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends. The entire process took less than 2 hours.

We went there to buy 2015 Highlander. Starting from sales Rep. Art to financial guy Ilya everybody was kind and helpful. We went with 2 kids they even accommodated my kids nicely and helped us anything we asked. The car buying process went very smoothly no tricks no hidden fees. Everything was transparent. The price was the lowest nationwide. They even gave us floor carpets for free. I would recommend this dealership to all Toyota buyers.

I have to reach out to as many that would take the time to read this. Running businesses for over 30 years I understand the difference between good service and exceptional service....as many of us probably do. I have found my success in this world has been to surround myself with exceptional people and folks that I do business with. My recent experience with Toyota in Libertyville falls within that category of EXCEPTIONAL! I recently was having some problems with my front wheels of my three year old car that my daughters drive around. I choose this dealership based on previous visits of many of my cars. This time they stepped up their game. My technician who name is Frank was so responsive to every concern I had, and offered up many solutions from giving me a loaner car for a day, to handling all the paperwork that was necessary along with handling all the expenses with him dealing with the manufacture. He was in constant contact with me apprising me of the ongoing problems he was finding, not to alarm me, but keep me well informed. My many years taking cars in to a number of other dealers made me suspicious when I received any communication. I equated out more communication to more money. NOT THE CASE here..... I complement Frank and the dealership for the insight of staffing and keeping folks like him in this business. Corey Barker

Bought a used 2005 silver highlander with 119,600 miles on it from this dealership and was told by the sales person that if anything goes wrong with the car within three days then they will fix it. When I took the SUV home i found out that it shakes really bad when breaking on the highway, it was missing a headrest, one of the windows didn't work and one of the locks didn't work. I called the next day and they said to bring it in, so i did. They said they need to keep it overnight and gave me a loaner. They called the following day stating the car needs $1,100.00 in repairs so I told their service department to talk to the used car sales manager because they should pay for the repairs since that's what the sales person said (still within the three day period). I received a call back stating that they are not going to pay and that it's my responsibility. I called the manager and he denied that they should pay for the repairs since it's not written in the contract and gave me the option to bring the car back. long story short, I exercised my three day right to cancel and gave them the highlander back and got my down payment back. Their Sales Manager, Gary Khaskin has no sales or customer service skills. The sales person George Adame was very nice. It was their loss not mine, there are many, many other dealers and used cars out there.

We have purchased all of our cars here for about the last twenty years. All of those cars have been serviced here. All members of the service team, from the mechanics through the head of service have always been knowledgeable and courteous. If an unexpected issue arises, the mechanics are available to speak with you and the service rep together - that way there are no miscommunications. All work done correctly and no additional work is done. No one has ever attempted to talk me into more service than I need or want. On routine visits - a full check for any outstanding recalls is made as well. An estimate of time to complete the work is always given and usually pretty accurate (typically it's over estimated so there is some appreciation of getting done sooner then expected). On site car wash now completes the experience. The premises are immaculate and the waiting area has lots of amenities including comfortable TV seating/ a cafe area and internet/ Wi-Fi. Clean bathrooms. Everyone - and I mean everyone - is always courteous and friendly without being 'in your face friendly.' Cost of service has always been reasonable. Issues/ complaints are dealt with well. Though we have had few, the manager is immediately involved without a wait and has been very accommodating.

Since my family and I have owned Toyota products for over 25 years, selecting the manufacturer was not in question however; model availability was of utmost importance. Despite Auto Nation Toyota of Libertyvilles location about 40 miles from my home, I found the exact model, trim and color that I wanted from their vast inventory and the rest was easy. The dealership and my sales associate were extremely helpful and professional and the entire process including negotiating my trade in value went seamlessly. We feel like we got a fair price and aggressive financing despite the popularity of this particular car. Prior to purchasing, we had shopped around extensively and made repeat visits to Auto Nation - Paul our sales rep was patient with us as we worked through our purchase decision and vehicle selection, and we did not feel pressured in any way. The dealership staff and facilities seem outstanding - will write again once we have some service experiences behind us. They didn't negotiate on price well at first. They didn't return phone calls. When we asked them if the car we were interested in had rust on it they told us no. After we drove 3 hours to the dealership to buy it we saw that it indeed had rust on it. They didn't tell us the air conditioner compressor needed to be replaced. We wasted 5-6 hours of driving and didn't even buy the car. I wouldn't want to do business with this dealership in the future.

I spent months searching and researching to find a used car at a good price without sacrificing quality. Even though I purchased a NON Toyota automobile, I felt I was given the same courtesy and benefits offered their name brand customers. The staff, to include the finance department, treated me as if I was the only customer they had the day I bought my car. It was a crazy busy day. I returned a week later to finalize paperwork and was offered a quick service call, to fix a rattle, and car wash. They didn't have to treat my as kindly as they did. Not only did they take care of business in an efficient manner that was beyond acceptable to me but they went the extra mile to make me feel like one of their own. I will be returning to this dealership in the future and will steer friends there as well. Even though it is 50 miles away from where I live and 75 from my place of employment, I believe it is well worth the drive. In my new car it is a pleasure. Enjoy your experience I have.

I was looking for a used SUV for a little while when I saw one listed online at this dealer. I contacted them and received quick communication back. Email, text, and phone response was fantastic. There was no pressure to rush through the test drive or while looking over vehicle. AUTONATION TOYOTA LIBERTYVILLE where customer satisfaction and loyalty count for nothing! I would BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS in having your vehicle serviced here and, likewise, I WILL NEVER purchase another vehicle from this Dealership. Twenty seven days after purchasing a new, never driven, 2013 Toyota Avalon Hybrid from Autonation Toyota, we brought the vehicle back to the Dealership for installation of a remote starter installation which was part of the original purchase agreement. At this point, the vehicle had less than 1000 miles on the odometer. The following day my wife was notified that there was a "problem" with the vehicle and that she should contact the Dealer. After contacting the Dealer, we found out that the "problem" was that the Dealer was unable to locate the vehicle. Our vehicle had been stolen from the Dealer's lot, a lot in which the Dealer kept its multimillion dollar inventory. We later learned that the Dealer's security measures were grossly inadequate. We were told that they did not have a single security camera on site, either inside their buildings or in their parking lots. In the police report, it actually states that the exact date on which the car was stolen was unknown. In order to pull off the theft, the thief, or thieves, needed direct access to the room, inside the Dealer's building, where their customers' ignition keys were stored. In other words, to steal our car from the Dealer, the thief or thieves had to first steal our keys from the Dealer. How is that for taking care and custody of your vehicle! The vehicle was subsequently found by the police 30 miles away from the Dealership in a high crime Chicago neighborhood where, according to the police, stolen vehicles are frequently dumped to be stripped down and sold later for their individual parts. All of our items of personal property, which we left in the car, had been stolen. (The vehicle was subsequently towed back to the police station.) After our car had been recovered by the police, the Dealer could not have pressed harder for us to simply go pick up the vehicle and take possession of it without even a cursory mechanical examination. Basically, their attitude was "What's your problem? Take the car and go home." Amazing! Because our vehicle had been new when it was brought in for the installation of the remote starter, and because we were unable to ascertain how the car was driven by the thief or thieves or what possible damages might be discovered in the future arising from its theft, we requested an exact replacement of the vehicle or return of our purchase price. We were promptly told that Autonation Toyota would not agree to do either. We then sought legal counsel and after having spent significant time, effort and money, the Dealer finally agreed to give us $1,000.00 and reimburse us for the cost of our stolen items, but only if we would absolve them of any future legal responsibility arising from the theft of the vehicle, and if we would agree not to speak disparagingly of the Dealer or of the events that occurred to our friends, family or media. In other words, we were offered $1,000.00 HUSH MONEY for our silence! In the end, we walked away from this deal. My wife and I feel that others should hear this story as a warning. People should be able to reasonably expect that their vehicle will be at least somewhat secure when dropped at a dealership for servicing. How many people think that such a vehicle in the custody of a dealer is at risk of theft? Do not make the same mistake!!!!!

Libertyville Toyota helped us to acquire a car that another Toyota dealer in the area badly failed at. We were looking for a Corolla LS Premium without Nav and without sunroof. Not many of these are around, and the other dealer told us they had one on the way and they wasted several weeks of our time. Libertyville Toyota was aware that this is a rare car and it needed to be ordered. They told us it would be 6-7 weeks. They then delivered the car we wanted just whey they said they would, and we are very pleased with the pricing and the delivery experience. We plan to give this dealership all the Toyota business we can.

I was very impressed by the quality of customer service and how Ilya and Rick really worked hard to get me the best deal with a newer car. I had my mind set on a older model car and they convinced me to go with the newer model with a reasonable monthly payment. I had a tail light out and went back to have it repaired and it is out again. I need to go back but this should be an easy fix.

I've shopped a few months for a pre owned Prius and found one here. The car was ready for my 6pm appointment. After the test drive my salesman, Paul H and the Sales Manager that evening strived hard to make sure that there was no other place that can offer me a better deal. Since it was my first Hybrid Paul covered a lot of things he felt I should know. The financing department was professional and cared about the future maintenance of the car. The offered information about their service department and suggestions for it to last. I received a complimentary detail and they provided a loaner car. The service lobby has free coffee and popcorn and other refreshments in the morning. It was a great experience buying a car from here.

We had a unique situation. My mother who lives in the Chicago area and is nearly 80 years old needed a new, reliable car. Her Toyota Camry with 163,000 miles needed retiring and as her children, we needed to ensure she was not taken advantage of. With all of her children in Minneapolis area, and not nearby to help her, I took matters into my own hands and started web shopping. I was not referred to the dealership, but I called several in the area. My communication with George Adame, salesperson was very, very good. We worked out everything and he welcomed my mom when she first visited the dealership. He did a beautifully patient job in working with our mom and ensuring she felt comfortable throughout the whole process. George and I worked to smooth the process for mom and she was able to go in and complete the paperwork and drive away with a confidence that she received a good deal and was not taken advantage of. Let me preface this review by saying my experience with Auto Nation Libertyville was SO negative and their behavior SO OUTRAGEOUS, that I had no choice but to write a review in order warn other consumers. We were interested in buying a brand new 2013 Land Cruiser. Before heading up to Libertyville, we did our research and found the car for the price we wanted. Being a family with very small children, we didn't want to drive 30 miles with them then and have to spend hours sitting in a dealership, so we called first and spoke to the Manager for 2 reasons, firstly, to see if he would match Chicagoland area dealership prices, and secondly, to make sure they would give fair value for our trade in. We spoke a few times by phone and he called us back after speaking with his boss that he would NOT lose any deal over a trade in or price. He guaranteed they would match and beat any other price for the new Land Cruiser we wanted to buy. We gave him the VIN number and all the specs on our vehicle in advance. We had our vehicle appraised at CarMax the week before and therefor knew the fair value of it. The manager ensured us before heading up, that we would get that same approximate price for our trade. We were very satisfied and felt reassured that our experience was going to be very pleasant and we'd be driving home in a new car. Once we got there everything changed. In hindsight we've realized that these are just tactics for getting you there so they can roll out their underhanded sales jargon. They then wanted $2000 more than the internet price for the LandCruiser and valued our trade in at $6000 dollars less what what CarMax offered to buy from us. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY WE CALLED FIRST, SO WE DIDN'T HAVE TO PLAY THIS GAME. It was rude and disrespectful and was a waste our time. BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK IF YOU HAVE A TRADE IN. Kelly BlueBook and CarMax is the place to know the real value of your vehicle. The Used Car Manager that appraised our car was so rude and so unprofessional. He had very limited knowledge about Toyota merchandise and should not hold this position in a publicly traded company such as Auto Nation.

Terence O'Gara was a real professional and a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable not only about the Toyota RAV4 product that we were interested in, but of all the other models in that class we were looking at: Ford Escape and Honda CRV. He helped explain not only all the features of the car, but the pluses and minus off all the options including extended warranties. Terence O'Gara also sells used cars, so he was able to give us a good idea of the resale value of the car including what options improve the resale, and which ones are bad - such as odd paint colors. Terence O'Gara was great. He wasn't pushy. He didn't talk over you like the other salesman we met at the other dealerships. He introduced us to the managers for the repair center, and the whole experience was very good. I would by a car from Mr O'Gara again, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a car.

Great sales department and service team. Would liked them to have communicated better what was going on with my car (I bought used with a few "paperwork" issues), but overall I got a great car at a great price that fit my needs. They of course tried the usual car dealership crap, but weren't pushy about it and let me take my time and took care of my concerns as much as humanly possible. Will definitely go back to buy a car when this one needs to be replaced.

Bought a Sequoia from Libertyville Autonation and can truly say that the experience was one of the best ever for a car purchase. Marharyta Gladich our sales person was always positive and listening to what we wanted. She went out of her way to find us a car with sand interior that we could look at before we bought. Scott Weller and Gary Khaskin made sure that we had the vehicle we wanted. I must say that what impressed me the most was the honesty and the fact that they stood behind their promices. This is my Second Used car purchase from this facility. The service is outstanding and repair if any is as well outstanding. The Seller was courteous and friendly not pushing or leaning toward any particular vehicle. My wife and I walked and talked and drove then chose. My only disappointment was not receiving proper keys with remote at time of purchase. Replacing a remote can be expensive. However, the salesman did provide a replacement key, keeping his Word (no remote capability), so we at least have two keys to this 2010 vehicle. That said, I will in the future be a repeat customer and recommend if your looking for that First or Second Car, That Libertyville Toyota would be a place to stop, look, and Drive before that FINAL decision is made..

Just got a 2000 Toyota Sienna XLE. Drove 5 hours from Michigan but it was worth the effort because the van is excellent inside and out and drives really great. Matt Culpepper, the salesperson rendered excellent services from the beginning to the closing. His manager was also great saving us a trip to the bank and some driving time by accommodating us. Everybody including my husband marvels at the great condition of the van for the price and absolutely nothing to fix. The seatbelt light is on but the seatbelts are all working great...just just sensor problem.

We initially got referred through the Costco buying program with Paul Handler at Toyota Libertyville. Paul was professional, friendly and provided a straightforward experience for me and my wife. We wanted to purchase a hybrid highlander with a certain color and it was not immediately available in inventory. Paul was not discouraged and worked with his manager to find the vehicle we wanted. They were not pushy in trying to convince us to buy something else which we greatly appreciated. They worked hard to find what we wanted. Fortunately, they called a few weeks later and found the right car that would be shortly shipped from Japan. It took a little more than a month to get the car but we were weren't in a big hurry so that was fine with us. We don't buy a car often and we are always fearful of sitting in a showroom for a long time or being pitched for everything under the sun. I felt Paul and the dealership fairly balanced our needs as well as their desire to make a fair profit. Kudos!

My mom and I went in looking to buy a new 4Runner. The colors and options we wanted were very uncommon, but Art Fanning and the rest of the sales crew did a lot of searching and actually found us exactly what we wanted. The delivery process took longer than normal, but I understand since they found the 4Runner when it had recently came out the assembly line... We have not gone in for service yet and they are remodeling the dealer so I can't rate them on that yet. But I'm sure the dealership will look great.

We knew the exact vehicle that we wanted so we let the local dealers name their best prices online. Nicole issued the price that everyone else was trying to beat. Nicole's communication was great and everything was honored as agreed through the e-mails and phone calls. Brad in finance was a joy. There was never a push for an upsale. I know I got a good deal and Nicole earned the sale and made it worth passing three dealers who were closer. Whole tranaction could have been faster and they are in the middle of a remodel which made it tough with our kid.

I recently tried to buy a used Toyota from this dealership, explaining that we would be coming from out of state and were very, very interested in a vehicle they had. I confirmed that the vehicle was available and let the salesman know I was on my way to take the day off work (speak to my boss, that is) and then drive over 6 hours to get there the next day. He saw someone looking at the vehicle, and never called me to let me know. I got the day off work and called him back to let him know when we would arrive. He then told me that the vehicle had been sold. How embarrasing for me to then go and tell my boss that I no longer needed to take time off. KNowing all that I was going through to get this van (they wouldn't take a deposit), I felt he could have called me to let me know, so I didn't foolishly request the day off. It now makes it so much more difficult for me to do in the future. I wish I could be writing now about my great experience buying the vehicle my family needs instead of this.

Recently purchased a used 4Runner here. Against better judgement, still purchased the vehicle after the manager sent me home with the vehicle overnight for a test drive...then changed his terms for purchase when I returned. In addition, the vehicle ended up being an auctioned Enterprise Rent a Car...not the "dealer loaner" that was explained. We also found out later that it WAS in an accident that was not reported on CARFAX...but was on another report. Finally, when we discovered a chip with some rust on the inside of the rear door latch...had to raise heck to get them to "fix" it...which has led to more rust, more repair, more rust, etc. etc. (they refused to actually fix the problem and instead just painted over it) One final note - a relative also tried to buy a prius there recently and was actually called a name by the salesman. I won't repeat it, but these are the most unscrupulous people I've ever dealt with. The relative left and bought elsewhere. I wonder how they sleep at night.
