This was the most seamless car buying experience I've ever had. I typically hate buying cars because of dealing with the sales people, and the long drawn out process. I spoke to Robert on the phone before looking at the car, and he was incredibly helpful answering all questions. By the time I test drove the car, it was a formality. Will definitely try to purchase any car from them in the future(pending inventory).

After my fiancee had found a nice used 2009 Ford Edge at Axelrod we were greeted by Steve and Jayme. Both these gentlemen are top notch and went out of there way to make this the best car buying experience we've ever experienced. They took fantastic care of my fiancee and were so very courteous and helpful. We were in and out quickly and drove away in quite possibly one of the nicest used cars I've seen to date. I myself have purchased over 30 vehicles in my lifetime...never seen anything as relaxed and comfortable as this. Definitely not your usual car buying experience. Other dealerships should emulate what these guys do at Axelrod.

I drove a long way not knowing what to expect, My EXPERIENCE WAS A++, This car buying experience was the best I ever had, I am familiar with the big car dealers, with the boss sitting in the raised office and the salesman running back and fourth not budging at all. I am saying good bye to them forever, because my next ride I will again drive 7 hours. Rob & Ron Thank You Both, and the kid in the back you all are doing a great job.

After searching for a High Velocity Yellow Corvette with low miles and a clean Car Fax, I found exactly what I was looking for at Axlerod. This was the most trouble free, smooth transaction I have ever done! Both Rob and Rod answered all of my questions and there was never any high pressure sales tactics to deal with. They more than accommodated me being an out of state buyer and had my car delivered to me Oct. 24, 2015 in southern Michigan. I wasn't even expecting any kind of warranty and was pleasantly surprised to discover it came with a 30 day power train warranty on a 9 year old car. Drove my car 180 miles home that day and enjoyed every minute of it. Both Rob and Rod are honest and reputable and honest! I didn't even realize my bank made an error when they made the check out for $380.00 more than what it should have been. Rod called me immediately and made me aware of it and told me I would be promptly refunded the money. I took my car in for an oil change yesterday at the local Chevy dealership and after their inspection, they said it was one of the finest, original Corvettes they had seen. I would have no reservations purchasing another vehicle from Axlerod in the future.

I have always had the worst time at dealerships but at Axelrod I truly enjoyed working with the employees there. The whole process was very simple and quick. I called on the car and they had it ready for me to test drive. Three days later I came back to buy and all the paperwork was ready along with the car. So far we love the vehicle and I would definitely buy from them again.

After checking out a few dealerships for a new truck, my wife and I decided to take a drive down to Wadsworth. Going into our little adventure we anticipated and prepared ourselves for pushy salesman trying to make us feel like we should buy something from them (experiences we recently had a few days earlier). At Axelrod that was definitely not the case. Ron and Rob were very friendly and laid back. We had no intentions of buying a vehicle that day, but our experience with these guys was just right. They offered a great vehicle at a great price as well as they went the extra yard to make sure we would be fully satisfied with our purchase. Its been about 6 months since our purchase and I am still fully satisfied with my purchase. These guys are knowledgeable, trustworthy and just great people to work with. I would definitely buy from them again! Thanks a lot!

Definetly one of the easiest, hassle-free car buying experiences I've had. After finding the vehicle on Cars.com I gave Axelrod Auto Outlet a call and explained what it was I was looking for and what I wanted for my trade. Spoke with Robert who could not have been farther from the typical high pressure salesman I've worked with in the past. This was a welcome change and made for a smooth buying experience. I was greeted by both Robert and Ron when I arrived as well as my new car in their showroom. After a walk around I was handed the keys and off I went for a test drive. Given their no pressure hassle-free approach it would have been okay if he came along for the ride. Instead he handed me they keys and told me to take it as long as I needed. No sales pitch, no nonsense. It didn't take long to realize I would be taking the car home. Once back on the lot we sat down and within an hour I was out the door with everything I wanted. They even went as far to fill the tank up for me before I left. Overall my experience was great. They have a great team of guys at Axelrod and come highly recommended. I know when we look for our next car Axelrod will be the first place we go. Thanks again!

I traveled with my son three hours from Pennsylvania to look at a Jeep Commander. The vehicle was as described on line. My son decided that he wanted the Jeep, and Rob went above and beyond to make it happen for him. We had been shopping for about a month prior to coming to Axelrod Auto Outlet, and we had never found a dealer so accommodating. The next time I am looking for a vehicle, theirs will be the first inventory I look at even though it is three hours away from my home.

I was searching for a new Toyota Prius on Labor Day weekend, and found Axelrod to have the only two Prius with Moonroof installed in a 100mi radius. I called, but they were closed so I left a few messages expressing my interest. I was called back first thing the day after Labor day and informed that they also sell their cars to dealerships online and that they would freeze the car from online purchases for me for the day. I made it down in the afternoon and several interested parties were turned away by Axelrod, including one that was finishing test driving the car as I arrived. The car was so new on the lot, it hadn't even been detailed yet, which they made arrangements for a loaner car for me to use while they got mine promptly cleaned up. Robert and Rod were very nice and pressure free. They let me have as much time as needed to test out the car and to think about the purchase, even stayed after closing hours to let us finish up our decision. So far car runs well and as expected and no hidden surprises. Only thing I needed was new tires, which Robert gave me great suggestions about. Great experience overall and recommended to all.

If you are looking for honesty go elsewhere. If you are looking for a shady experience this is your place! Promises broken. Arrogant attitude. Bad business will eventually catch up to you. Why be in business if you dont strive for excellent customer service? You should be in collections or reposessions - better suits your attitude.

I had interest in a particular car, the dealership went out of their way to find the exact car that I wanted. All my service work is done here they go out of there way to take care of me and I recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a new or used Car!!!

I had plans to make a purchase of a used Jeep. I drove it on a Wednesday night and was told by Rod to feel free to come take it overnight and have it checked out by someone so after confirming that I could get it in on a Saturday, I contacted Rod Thursday to advise I would pick it up on Friday after work and he dropped the news that it was sold! When I drove it Weds and expressed my interest even talking about having a scratch fixed and inquiring what I would get for my car he never mentioned that I should put something down if I were interested...he just said "call me tomorrow and let me know if you are going to pick it up on Friday because I won't be here but will need to let my partner know". When I asked why he didn't wait to hear from me since I was interested he said "just because someone is interested doesn't mean they are going to buy"....I should have known that when I drove it on Wednesday night and he said he was driving it home that night that that was strange....maybe he or a family member wanted it. Complete waste of time that I don't have to spare with a typical used car saleman. Will never step foot on the property again.

Purchased a car from Axelrods. Very pleasant experience! Good, very fair prices on vehicles. Nice selection.. Staff friendly and know their business well. My husband uses their service dept. for any repairs/ oil changes, etc. Best in the area and trustworthy! That's important in today's world. I have recommended them several times to friends & family.

Very easy transaction. The sales staff was VERY knowledgeable and had answers for everything. If you notice, every negative comment on this review thread made no sense. They have higher end vehicles and they don't waste your time haggling. My 3 year old loved watching Spongebob on the widescreen TV in the lounge.

I had all the approval paperwork and drove off the lot with a BMW convertible. Was told over and over how it had been checked thoroughly when they got the car in and again when I committed to purchase. Was a little disapointed when i picked it up with my family that it had less than a quarter tank in it. But we stopped just before we got on the highway to make the 1.5hr drive home...only I got less than 10 miles from the dealership and the car completely shut down - hot smoke - buried gauges - completely undrivable and stranded on the side of the highway.After $48 to fill it up and another $78 tow (back to their place - not mine!)...they claimed they were sure it was an easy fix....but after 5 days of "easy repairs" - It really smelled like a lemon to me.I cancelled the transaction. It took over 5 weeks to get them to agree to send me a reembursement for my out of pocket expenses - to which they gave me a terrible customer service...I left a detailed review on Cars.com. Then was harrassed with phone calls about it. Finally I answered the call and was told they'd send me my gas reembursement ONLY if I called Cars.com to have my review taken down. Well, here we are 6 weeks later and no check. Funny -at the time I left my original review they only had 2 reviews - one good and one bad. But since I left mine this summer - all of a sudden they have gotten several overwelhmingly positive reviews...surely to offset mine. I suspect them as ghost posts. But I guess they are who they are - and if they treated me like this its only a matter of time before the real message and reviews are known. All that bad PR for $48? Gotta make you wonder who you're dealing with.

Pulled in, greeted by Robert and away we went!!! He showed me just about every car on the lot, we drove a dozen of them until I found the car I wanted. I had a trade in that they gave me more money than anticipated. I could not ask for a more pleasent car buying experience. Purchased the car that day and take it back every few months for oil change and detail, and they do a terrific job at both!!!!! Go see Rob at Axelrod, you wont be disapointed!!!!

So Happy I ended up here and met my salesman Rob. He was very helpful. He knew everything about the car I ended up buying, and took the time to go over all of it with me. I would send my Father, Mother, brother, sister and cousins and neighbors, the lady at the grocery store, the guy in wal-mart ,(I overheard him saying he was looking for a car) everyone I know and those I don't to GO see Rob at Axelrod. If the car you are looking for isn't on the Lot..HE will find it for you!

Rod totally took care of us and gave us an incredible deal. We even had a trade-in and we received more than anticipated. All in all, Rod was very easy to work with, was not pushy and seemed to have to answers to all of our questions. I did like the fact that he did not have to go "ask his manager" a hundred times during the process.

Wouldn't take a chance dealing with this outfit. If the car is no good it does not matter how good the customer service is - and if the car is good but the salesman isn't then it just ruins the process. Go where your business is valued. Its a waste of time.

I am writing this review with my heart. A week ago today I flew to Cleveland from Kansas City. They had a very nice gentleman (Larry Macko) waiting for me at the airport, drove me 40 miles to Axelrod and I purchased a 2007 Cadillac STS4 V8 Black/Black Platinum Edition for a wonderful price (Wholesale). This car is Immaculate! Just like new. My kudos goes to the previous owner for taking such very good care of this very fine car and I promise to do the same. Rob Hale and Rod Scott are one heck of a team. I spotted this car (after researching and searching for months) the previous night on the Internet around 12:30am with no pictures, only details about the car. I emailed Rob for pictures immediately and when I got to work at 8:30am Rob had replied to my request at 8:13am saying they had just got the car on a trade-in the previous night and that Rod was now taking pictures of it and they would be available within a couple of hours. About one hour later Robert emailed me letting me know that the pictures were ready. I viewed the pictures and the next thing you know Im driving the car some 800 miles home! It was a wonderful drive home. My experience was very smooth and painless thanks to Rob, Rod and Larry. When it comes to Customer Service, integrity and quality used cars these guys are champions. This car is WONDERFUL! I will definitely refer all my friends and family to Axelrod.

I'm very happy with my experience at Axelrod's. The only complaint I have is that the car was not quite as detailed as I thought it would be - the windshield was not cleaned on the inside. The paperwork process, etc. went smoothly. I picked up the car and it did only have about 1/2 tank of gas. The car is a 2010 Prius Hybrid and that's probably why they didn't put gas in it. Overall, the experience was good and I dealt with 2 different sales people. Robert was the one who met me when I stopped there and then he was the one who finalized the paperwork. Very good about letting me just take the car for a ride and checking out the car.

Business must be good because I couldn't even get information on the car I requested. Was really put off by it. I was treated like my business didn't matter. When you feel that way I guess you go where it does. And I did!

We recently purchased a low mileage Jeep Sahara from Axelrod Auto Outlet in Wadsworth. It was worth every penny to drive the extra distance to obtain the car from them. Robert(Owner/Partner) went above and beyond just the transaction to make sure my wife was comfortable with the car and that we were completely satisfied with the experience. For those of you that are first time buyers of a Jeep, this is NOT just a "here are the power windows" overview. There are doors, windows, roofs, and just about everything on the car that comes off in some way. He even stayed late and missed his daughter's softball game just so he could get the car and paperwork ready for our late evening pickup. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a higher-end, quality, used vehicle. You will not be disappointed with your buying experience.

I found Rob straight forward to the point of arrogance. States up front how they really sell to other dealers so I can "take it or leave it". Not very customer friendly. Felt as though I interrupted his day asking about a car I truly was interested in on their lot. They've got mixed review - and the only stellar two listed are from one person! I'm going to stick with a dealer with a little more integrity. Investing thousands of dollars in a car is no simple decision. Why spend your money with a someone that act like they dont want your business?

I live out of state and was in the process of purchasing a vehicle from Rob. He was very professional, straight forward, and prompt with email and phone call responses. I backed out of the deal at the last second due to a personal issue and to my surprise he was still very humble. Its hard to find people in the car industry like him these days. I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from him as he is very accommodating and is genuinely a sincere individual.

I was planning on buying a vehicle from Rob & decided to back out of the vehicle at the last second. However, during the process he was very accommodating considering that fact that I lived out of state. He went the extra mile & continued to be extremely professional even after the fact. Finalized the paperwork and drove off the lot in a BMW convertible - less than a quarter tank of gas in the car so I stopped to fill it up before the 1.5 hr ride home. Got on the freeway and less than 10 miles from the dealership the car broke down, buried temperature gauge and undrivable. Was told over and over again how they check it thoroughly before the sale. After days of "repairs" felt it was a bad sign when I had to have it towed back to them before I even got out of town...$48 in gas and $78 in tow bills - emails unreturned and NO REEMBURSEMENT of either out of pocket expense. Was told by Rob that my gas would be reembursed - surely they took advantage of it when they drove it. Was told my tow bill would be reembursed - Here we are a MONTH later and no email no contact and NO CHECK. I guess they dont care if you are interested in another vehicle on their lot or not. They'd rather be rude and burn that bridge. Very disapointed in the experience. If I had been treated fairly with my out of pocket expenses I would have had no complaints - I cancelled the transaction because I had a bad vibe. They left me with way more than that by how they reacted to it.

upon picking up the car, the spare tire was not mounted or availiable as promised. The day after we got the car home the battery was so low that we had to jump the car. Axelrod told us to take it to the dealer and they would fix it under the warranty. The dealer said the car was not properly maintained and charged us $300.00 for a battery. Axelrod did not reimburse us or reply to my request.
