I would never have gone to Baker Cadillac for a used car, but I did research online and they had the car I was looking for. I was greeted right away by Paul Barker. He got the car I requested and took me on a test drive. He did not try to push me to another more expensive car. He made me feel very relaxed. After the test drive he could tell I still needed a little more time with the car. He offered to let me take the car for an hour or so. This made all the difference. Decision made it was time to do finances. Usually this includes an exhausting back and forth with numbers, but not here. I literally walked in, asked for a car, bought the car and went home with it. No games. I am a very satisfied owner of a 2015 Chevy Cruze! Paul called me two days later to see if I was able to set up my Bluetooth or had any questions with anything else. If your looking for a new or used car I would recommend seeing Paul Barker at Baker Cadillac.

After Orr Cadillac in Springfield MA closed in 2008, I needed to find another Cadillac Dealer. I brought my 2007 xxx to Baker Cadillac for service. My Cadillac DeVille was in for service on Wednesday. Received my load. Went over what was to be done. All service was very good. The only exception was the Complete Detail I had done. The trunk was not touched. When brought to the attention of Megan in Service they took the car back. Pulled out the covering in the trunk, quick vacuum and then THREW the coverings, etc., back in the trunk. You would think they would have put the coverings back the way they were. Other times I've had detailing done everything was perfect. All was good except the trunk. Next time will be better. Thank you Baker's for all your good service.

I bought my car from Randy over the phone. It was a great experience, no 2-3 hours in the dealership going back and forth. Came in to check it out and after showing me all the features he said, when do you want me to deliver it to Maine. We picked a couple days later. He drove it to my home, spent lots of time making me feel comfortable with all the new conveniences it had.. We then went to the town hall and he helped with all the paperwork to get it registered. He drove back to MA with my trade in and I headed home with my 2016 Cadillac SRX. Thanks Randy!

Randy was very helpful and made sure that I was given the best deal, with very little downcares payment. To walk away from there with a great vehicle to me was nothing short of a miracle. I recently bought a used Chevy Volt here at Baker. I visited previously and asked the salesman to call next time they got one in. He did actually call me back! I loved the car. It was in great shape and very clean. Paul, the salesman, was very thorough and professional but not snooty. He and the manager, Mark, gave me a great deal and I have shopped around to know. After I bought the car, I had it serviced because of a slow leak in one of the tires. They removed the nail and fixed the tire and then re-balanced it at no cost to me! I would definitely recommend this Baker Dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. Great place to shop! They were the best!

Had been looking for a specific used Cadillac SRX for a couple of months. When I go to this dealership, I was pleasantly surprised on how quickly we were approached by a nice kid named Paul. He quickly got us a plate to do a test drive and answered most of my questions, if he didn't know the answer he was truthful in letting me know he was not sure, and then he would go and find out.There was some quick negotiations on the price and we found and came to an agreement quickly. Spent two months looking at used Expeditions all over Ma. NH. RI. By far the best experience I had and agreeing to their offer found the purchase experience excellent as well. After introducing himself we got to talking and he implied that perhaps I was in the wrong place. I told him I served in Iraq and he asked if I have PTSD.I found his attitude to be bizarre. I bought a used Ford pickup from them, I walked in covered in dirt (I work in concrete) from the start they treated me with respect, honesty, and courtesy. This is the 10th vehicle I have bought from various dealers and this was by far the best buying experience. I have purchased numerous cars over many years and this was by far the most stress-free enjoyable experience I've ever had. I called service to tell them that I thought my car did not ride as good as it normally did and that it felt like something was broken. They picked my car up at my place of work, and brought me a nice new car to use as a loaner. They called me that afternoon to let me know a part had been broken, and it was ordered. The next day they called and said my car was all fixed, under warranty. Brought my car back to me by mid day. Can't beat this type of service!

I prefer to buy my vehicles at Baker for the no-pressure atmosphere created by honest and straight-forward sales personnel. Of course, the owner, Joel, sets the standard by his own personal and sincere presence. I've been to various dealerships in the past. I called for an undiagnosed noise coming from the front of my Envoy. I was promptly scheduled for the following morning where the mechanic diagnosed a bad wheel hub. I was told the price and the work needed to be done and scheduled for repair. The work was completed in the time stated and the estimated cost was accurate. I brought my XTS in for a normal oil change servicing etc. and also asked them to do a full inside and outside detailing. Everyone from the time you arrive takes very good care of you and got me out the door and dropped me at work. When my car was done they dropped it off at work and went on their way. The outside and inside looked like it just came from the showroom. Kudos to bakers for doing such a great job and for their excellent service. Baker has upgraded their facilities and while I was checking my car in lights kept going out because of the circuit breaker kept tripping. I originally came in for a problem I had with not being able to open the trunk. The young lady the that registered me listened to the problem and knew exactly what was wrong. The valet switch was accidently turned off. She flipped the switch, problem solved.Because of her knowledge and willingness to help, she saved me time and money that another garage may have charged. While I was there, she arranged to have my key/fob recall updated.(Facilities got 3 stars because of your updating in progress)

I purchased a CTS 4 a couple of months ago and while the buying process was actually very seamless here are my comments, both pros and con:Pros:- Salesman did a very thorough job of walking me through all functionality of the vehicle- Staff was helpful and courteousCons:- the sales process took place in an ugly, small trailer which says a lot about how much they value the customer experience when they opt to relocate their administrative staff in their new facilities ahead of revenue-generating customers- there was very little wiggle room in the price and the sales team was not open to negotiation. It was actually downright insulting.- I was told that routine service work would be covered but when I went in for my first oil change, I found out it was out of pocket. Really? I own a chevy and all work is covered but a Cadillac isn't???! Note to self: next time, buy a Lexus. How much does an oil change cost for God's sake?- I asked for floor mats as part of the purchase and they gave me used mats out of a used vehicle that didn't even fit. Another cheap reflection of the calibre of the dealership.

Went in to have routine maintenance and a recall done. A second recall had just come out. They gave me the option of getting everything done or rescheduling the recalls. Stayed to get everything done. Work was done in a reasonable period of time. Everyone in the service department was friendly and professional - as they always are. my wife's car battery died on a Friday afternoon.I called up Baker Cadillac and told them of my dilemma. They found a mechanic that was willing to stay a little bit extra on a Friday to put a new battery in my wife's car. Not many dealerships will do this. My experience buying a used vehicle at Baker Cadillac was simply fantastic! Danielle was an absolute pleasure to deal with. In fact, she treated me as if I were buying a new vehicle. One of the reasons I went to Baker was for their reputation and the other was the extra benefit of free oil changes and tire rotations for the duration of my ownership of the vehicle. The dealership was conveniently located right off the main highway (easy in and easy out). The buying process could not have been easier!!!

We bought our car from Baker over a year ago. It was the easiest car purchase we've ever made. Everything was done as efficiently as possible, from getting us a good price to financing, to explaining all the "gadgets" in the car.Last week, I brought the car back for a recall issue, and I was in and out in 45 minutes. The waiting area has coffee and tv, and is very comfortable.

I paid 1,500 dollars for repairs not done. They did not test drive the car, and thus they didn't know they had not fixed the problem. This seems like such basic practices that I believe the don't understand how to effectively service anything - especially vehicles. I am not sure what can be changed in their "best practices" so that they do test out their repairs. I also believe that most dealers will do the minimum. Doing the minimum does not have mechanics billing out 125.00 per hour to test run vehicles.

There's a new sales manager in town and oh how the old will be missed! If you are looking for sneaky service, this is your place! Told them our payment amount and length requirements. After a week of negotiating, they said they didn't want to let a few dollars get in the way of closing the sale. Only after they ran our credit and completed all our paperwork did we find the "few dollars" were coming out of our pocket!! They hadn't budged on our trades or sticker price but instead increased our loan term by FIFTEEN MONTHS!!!!! RUN AWAY!!! AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!

I have been a Baker customer for over 20 years. My wife and I have leased or bought approximately 16 vehicles (New Cadillacs, New Oldsmobiles, as well as preowned for our kids)from Baker. My sales experience with my sales associates and finance people has been top rate each and every time. No pressure, no hidden costs. They get it! They know how to treat you with courtesy and respect.Their service is unbelievable. They will even come to my office or home to pick up or deliver my vehicle for service (even if it's only an oil change). Like anyone else, they're only human. If a mistake is made (very rare) they fix it with no questions asked. Remember when your parents used to talk about their car dealer like they were part of the family? Baker is that kind of dealership!

Worse customer service ever. I went into Bakers because I wanted to look at a used Cadillac that I saw on line. I asked for Tom because that is what was required of me in the email that I received from them. Tom was friendly at first but I soon learned that he had no interest in selling me anything. After the younger salesman (I forget his name) was nice enough to let me test drive the car and show me some of the features, Tom took over 40 minutes to give me a price on the car and my trade. He was too busy talking on the phone, moving cars and just avoiding me, the only customer in the dealership. After I suggested that he did not give me enough for my trade ($3000 less than Kelly Blue Book)he simply got up and walked out on me and started a conversation with someone in service. I was ready to spend almost $40k at his dealership and he could not care less. If he had just spent another 5 minutes and perhaps another $1000, I would have considered buying a car there because I liked the salesman. I have since heard from many other people that Tom drives lots of business away because he does not care about his customers and perhaps has ADD. I went into Worcester and bought another CTS the next day but would have loved to buy one there because I live in Fitchburg. Good salesman but extremely poor sales manager. I will never step foot on that lot again and I tell everyone I know to do the same.

I recently purchased a used car (not from Baker) and was advised by my mechanic that there was a transmission leak. I took the car into Baker and thy took over three weeks to repair the transmission. I also asked them to repair a heater problem, that they claimed they repaired but still didnt work properly, every time I would bring the car in for one problem I would get it back only to discover another one that hadnt existed before the service.This ordeal continued for nearly two months and resulted in my filing a complaint with the BBB. Bakers response was condescending and sarcastic. This has been the worst customer service experience of my life. I would never considering returning to Baker Cadillac for either service or to purchase a car. They were rude and inconsiderate and their quality of service was poor.
