Purchased a 2013 Jetta from Balise a couple of weeks ago. Wade Murray was my salesman and he was outstanding. I spoke with Wade about what I needed and my price range and he gave me multiple different options to choose from. I also interacted with Ryan and Mike who provided feedback which helped in making my decision. Overall I had a great experience with Balise and would definitely recommend them for purchasing a new or used vehicle!

I went on 8/19/16 to test drive a few vehicles. Bob Wilson was my salesman. He was extremely patient, informative and low-pressure. His demeanor and the quality of the vehicle finalized my decision to purchase the vehicle. The finance department was flexible and accommodating, and the reason I left with a new car!

Wade was beyond helpful when we were searching for a car. Without having a great credit rating we were starting to lose hope of getting into a decent car for a good rate. However, Wade in Sales and Ryan in Finance worked together to get us the perfect car at a great price with financing we could afford. We are now the proud owners of a 2014 VW Jetta!!!

Came in for service and revisited after 5 years to check out new cars. Unbenounced to me the gentleman who initially sold me my car is now the general manage. Totally deserves it!! Pleasant knowledgeable positive atmosphere. David who sold me my car was very attentive and not overly aggressive.Excellent customer service!

There really isn't enough I can say about Wade Murray. He was the first to connect with me when I entered the dealership and I ended up purchasing my gorgeous 2015 Camaro Convertible from him. With this being my first time being responsible for the vetting portion of the car buying process, I knew I didn't want to work with someone who was too "salesy" I wanted to come in and look around without feeling any pressure. The car I wanted wasn't available, but he took my information to contact me if anything similar came in. The next day, he called to tell me that the Camaro had just come on the lot. The next day, I came to test drive it and instantly fell in love. He was very respectful of the fact that my responsibility was to vet out the cars I didn't want, to make my "short-list" for the ultimate decision maker to come in to evaluate the value. Not once did I feel overly pressured to purchase the car, which is why I didn't shop around for pricing. I hold relationships in very high regard and I will certainly be referring my friends and family to him! Great job Wade - thanks for introducing me to Cammy!

I had the privilege of working with David Coley, Ryan Haxton, Chris and Bob at Balise VW last week. Collectively they made my car buying experience seamless and stress-free. Even before I went to view the vehicle, after speaking with David on the phone, he was willing to take additional photos of the car's engine and email them to me. Once at the dealership, David was professional, polite, considerate and personable. He went above and beyond to be sure I was satisfied with my purchase. He was not pushy or annoying (as most other dealers can be). Chris and Ryan also worked with me creatively to complete the payment transactions, because my bank was closed for the day. Again, I was extremely impressed with their level of professionalism and efforts to make my experience easy and painless. If this were not enough, once the sale was complete, when my husband and I came back a few days later to pick up the vehicle, David was willing to help us buff out some paint scratches on our loaner car from a friend that we had borrowed to come and get the new car. I was shocked and impressed with the excellent customer service that we experienced, and though I live in Boston, I would definitely be willing to come back to Balise VW whenever I'm in the market again for a vehicle.

Last week I visited Balice Volkswagen to purchase a Jetta and I think it was the best decision I ever made. Upon arrival salesman Yaris Martinez greeted me with a smile which made me feel relax /comfortable . Yaris completely surpassed my expections in making my purchase pleasant and smooth . He provided excellent customer service and advice. He answered all of my questions with patient and knowledgable response. This quality of service is very valuable and Yaris should be recognized for the level of care he offers to his clients. I would highly recommend Balice Volkswagen based on this experience.

Stopped in yesterday without a plan on what car I wanted. To my surprise I was kindly welcomed by Yaris. He sold me my last VW. He made the entire process so easy and hassle free. While at the dealship one of the sales manager was completely arrogant and argumentive due to a mistake on his behalf. Had it not have been for Yaris and his great customer service and the GM, Greg, to make the deal happened I would have not bought the car. Once again I can't stress it enough, I bought two Jettas from Yaris, both times super easy. He will be my salesman from here on out. Thank you to Greg for fixing the mistake the the original sales manager made, you really saved the sale. Lastly, Ryan the business manager was great. I will be buying another VW in the future: thanks guys!!!!

Stopped in on Saturday afternoon, not even knowing exactly what I wanted. Met with Joshua whowas so helpful and helped me to realize that I had to have the Beetle convertible on the Showroomfloor. I bought a used 2009 volkswagen jetta last week of November 2015. I called the dealership the second week of December to report that the car starts shaking at speeds greater than 60 the service manager was less than helpful he told me it may not be covered by the warranty, now a month later the service engine light is on....I will never buy another car at any Balise dealership. ...no customer service. ...lots of junk. I will dedicate the rest of my life to tell everyone I encounter to stay away from Belise.

If you're headed to Balise to buy or lease a car, you'd better ask for JOSHUA! In early January, I arrived at Balise with my mind set on purchasing a used Volkswagen. In accordance with my request, Joshua showed me the pre-owned options in stock that were in my price range and after sitting with him to mull those options over, he wondered if I might also like to consider how purchasing a pre-owned vehicle would compare with possibly initiating a lease on a brand new car. I am so glad for his suggestion! I ultimately decided that the lease was the option best suited for me and now, nearly a month later, I am still COMPLETELY infatuated with my 2016 Jetta Sport! All the while, Joshua was kind, accommodating, and straight forward. Additionally, he was extremely knowledgable regarding my options and made sure I understood them each fully before making my final decision. While I considered those options, Joshua patiently answered any question I had. I left in my brand new vehicle feeling like Joshua and the rest of the team at Balise truly had my best interest in mind. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Had a check engine light, service advisor accused me of having modifications to the software on my 2015 GTI. I have some exhaust work done but nothing else. He wrote in paperwork after I received the vehicle back that I have a tune and that I will return to the aftermarket tuner to address issue, then tried to charge me a diagnostic fee. My car has never been tuned. Advisor also told me my warranty is voided, then evaded the question when I actually arrived at the dealership.

I received a letter that Balise Volkswagen would buy out my current lease early and I would be able to lease or buy another Volkswagen at a significant discount. $5200 off MSRP and additional $1500 bonus.It looked like a nice way to move into a new car 6 months before my lease was due. What a waste of time!! Balise had no intention to buy out my lease or offer any of the incentives. When I brought up that this was false advertising the sales person could only give me a blank stare.I wasted my time and will never buy a car from this dealer again.My advise stay away!

First time Volkswagen owner or more precisely lessee. Joshua F.was very professional, just importantly he was able to answer all my questions on the car. Also, he made a good case for pointing out value of leasing the car from B. . my wife's car will be replaced by mid 2017. The various B dealerships will be the places I visit first. I did not rate the quality of work because i I have not gone in for work yet. this web site will not accept my spelling for the dealer.

I had the pleasure of working with Joshua Formiglio in purchasing my new(used) VW. Josh was a great guy who wasn't really a typical "car salesman." He helped me out with everything I needed. The price the car was listed as was already well below KBB. Their GM(I believe), Mike, was able to get me a very good APR with a local credit union. The finance guy(Steve?) was really nice. The insurance woman, Pam, was very nice and very helpful. It was a long day, but excited and ultimately, I got the car I wanted.Thanks Guys!

I recently attended an event for current owners of auto's purchased from Balise VW. It was a crazy busy day there and the sales staff from the greeters to the sales men and woman were doing a great job keeping the many customers comfortable. I, probably unintentionally rudely, approached Joshua Formiglio as he was working with another customer and asked if I could speak to him next. He politely agreed but continued with his current customer. In between all the running around for them he had to do he answered all of my questions and concerns and even got me in a couple of cars to test drive. Unfortunately the car I wanted was sold, ironically to the customer he was with at the time. He informed me there was another CC that the service manager was driving as a demo. It was in the back lot. It was EXACTLY the car I was hoping for. After filling out all the paperwork he got the car cleaned up and ready to take home. I was very impressed, as a business owner myself, at Joshua's calm demeanor and ability to multi task. He spent plenty of time with me in the car going over the operation. I left feeling like a million bucks! Thanks Joshua and the team at Balise!

I recieved a flyer in the mail from Balise about a sales event they were having over the weekend. I thoroughly read it front to back and it sounded like something worth checking out. Long story short they held up to there word and I drove away in a brand new car. Josh my sales person was very knowlegable and kind, I enjoyed every minute with him. The salesman I worked with was great but the head of financing will take you for all you've got! To say the least he will lie to you about the rate you can get, and if you ask for them to make your payment less instead of giving you more for your trade or taking $ off your new car he will "do you a favor and get you a better rate" I would not buy a car from here again. Honesty is NOT their policy. Also they will not tell you how the payment had been adjusted until you have driven there twice and its an hour drive..... I would look elsewhere before stopping here!

Balise VW sent a letter to existing customers inviting them to an unadvertised special event on 17 Oct 2015 offering $14995 for my trade-in and $8000 in customer loyalty incentive. After more than a 2-hr wait, I test drove a car and was ready to deal. They offered $11,700 for my trade and $2000 customer loyalty incentive (the latter being offered at every VW dealership in the US). They didn't even include the usual mark-down to close to invoice, just MSRP minus the the $2000 VW is giving them.I'm mad at them and mad I allowed myself to believe the too-good-to-be-true offer and wasted 5 hours (the wait, the test drive, then to and from my house) of my time. This kind of shyster maneuver simply shows their outrageous efforts to defeat emission standards are anything but an anomaly.

I found the Jim the sales person to be knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in. Their pricing was fair and the overall buying process was good - though it took a long time. I thought they were an honest dealership that wanted to give their customers a fair deal on a new car. They certainly did not have to negotiate with me on the vehicle I was interested in yet they did and I walked away feeling like a got a fair deal.

My experience with this dealer was excellent. My salesperson, Darren, had originally reached out to me because he knew I was becoming impatient with the lack of response from several other dealers and because I needed a car quickly. He was careful about finding out exactly what I wanted, and sourcing a car that was close enough to my specs for me to accept it.There was a little miscommunication along the way (**NOT** his fault). It didn't come to light until after the paperwork was done. Any organization can make a mistake. A truly great one recovers well. Without going into detail, they recovered EXCEPTIONALLY well. Darren and his manager, Chris, ensured that I was made whole and am extremely satisfied with the entire transaction.I love my GTI, and I'm thrilled with the treatment I got at Balise. None of the four other VW dealers I contacted was even CLOSE to as responsive as Darren. Much of the negotiation was done electronically...it couldn't have been more convenient for me.I did have to visit the dealership twice. Just to make clear, it was a two-hour drive from work to finalize the purchase, and a one-hour drive from home to pick up the car a few days later. It was worth it.

I called and made an appointment for an alternate inspection. Upon arrival I was denied service because they did not know what an alternate inspection was. I then went home and printed out the form. I called trying to make an appointment again and was told they don't make appointments for inspections.I showed up the following week and they said I needed an appointmeny but would squeeze me in right after noon (I arrived at 9:30). I thought that was fine until the assistant service manager realized it was an alternate inspection (which I told him from the start). He still did not know what the alternate inspection was and said he had to call someone. They then said they wouldn't be able to do it that day because it will take too long to hear from the Safety and Emissions department. I decided to call on my own and was on the line with a representative in less than two minutes. He called Volkswagen and explained the situation at which point they said they couldn't do it till mid next week. It's clear to me that they should not be an inspection station if they are not even familiar with what needs to be done. They were rude and tried to get me to go elsewhere because of their lack of knowledge.

This dealership has absolutely set the standard for which I will now judge others. As I pulled into the dealership my 2013 Passat was washed, gassed up and right in front. I did not have to ask for my salesperson as Wade was right there to great us. He took his time and presented the car to us demonstrating every option down to the E-brake. Fast and efficient, it took less than an hour and a half to do the sale and would have been less than an hour had I not taken an extended test drive. During my test drive I noticed a faint vibration in thw braking but took delivery anyway. I was told that if it didnt go away they would look into it. Not only did they honor their word and schedule me a courtesy service but also they replaced ALL 4 BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS FOR FREE. This repair was over 1000.00!!! If you want to buy a quality car from an honest(very rare) delearship I recommend this dealership. Wade and Steve did a great job!!!!!Janelle

David Coley, Sales and Leasing Consultant, provided top customer service and product knowledge to my wife and I, as we ultimately decided on the 2015 Golf SportsWagen. I already called him back today to say THANK YOU for his sincere help. Christopher Ayala, Sales Manager, was instrumental in the process by asking great questions to really help us define what were the important choices for us. We wanted a Lease, we wanted the payments to be below $399, we wanted a fair trade-in price on our existing car. David and Christopher, listened to our objectives and presented a deal that fit all our goals and they added the 10, 20 and 30K Maintenance for No Cost!!! How's that for making the Customer Happy. My wife was thrilled and so was I. I also want to acknowledge the great service provided by Steve Crosby the Business Manager. Steve helped us understand how we could control the potential costs not covered by our insurance or the Volkswagen Warranty. His complete understanding of the possible choices were translated to us clearly and patiently. Again all focused on "what is the benefit to the customer", great job Steve! went to look at 2010 golf salesperson was perhaps new? or maybe because I was a woman but he did not show the car describe features etc. just kinda stared off into space while I was very nervous as im not use to car shopping alone did not feel comfortable there was also visible damage to the car they failed to mention just got a great deal on the same year car elsewhere! do yourself a favor and check out other dealers!

Hate to admit it because every car buying experience til now was absolutely horrible but this was a pleasant surprise. Nice workers who did not make me wait around. James Brown, my salesman was one of the best I have ever dealt with. He was knowledgable about the car I wanted and didn't try to bullat#%* me. Anything he wasn't aware of he went and found the correct answer. The sales team was not pushy in any way and were a pleasure to talk with. I will highly recommend Balise VW to my friends.

We recently had an unexpected vehicle failure and suddenly entered into the used car purchase arena. We researched what we wanted and decided a used Jetta Sportswagen might fit the bill. Found out about World Auto Certified and thought that might be the way to go, with easy searching and comparing from home. We drove an S Model at another dealer, but it was not yet certified. That sales person said he would check status the next day and get back to us. Three days letter I contacted him, and he would check and get back to us. Two days later, he got back to us that it was now certified and ready to go. At that time were at Balise VW in Warwick putting our paperwork through to purchase the 2013 Jetta Sportswagen TDI which we drove off the lot a short while later.While we waited for the above salesperson to get back to us we continued our search to try other models. We saw one of interest on-line at Balise in Warwick. I called to make sure it was there, talked to a salesman, Bob Wilson, who confirmed that it was and made an appointment to see him that night. He had it waiting out front for me at the appointed time, and after a quick copy of my license we were off for a test drive. Personally I liked the TDI much more than the S model. Spoke with my husband, who had some questions, and decided wed go back the next night for him to try out.Bob calls me the next morning to find out if I had any questions. He answered them promptly and we made appointment to have my husband test it that night. Again, its out front awaiting our arrival and off we go. My husband goes over it with a keen eye and many questions, all of which were patiently answered. A deal was made, paperwork completed by a myriad of friendly staff people, all of which made us feel no pressure towards the purchase and seemingly just eager to make us happy with our decision.I just got off the phone with Bob this morning who wanted to make sure all went well on the drive home and we were happy with our purchase.After both of us purchasing many vehicles over the last 30+ years, we agreed that it was the most enjoyable experience purchasing a car. They werent making a lot of money off our used purchase, but they rolled out the red carpet and treated us like royalty. Id highly recommend a visit to them.

An excellent experience. The showroom is bright and attractive. I was greeted promptly and introduced to Joshua who was helpful and professional. We were able to put together a good deal on the exact car that I was looking for. The business manager, insurance manager and GM were all friendly and efficient. I had gone into Balise with a pretty strict budget in mind. The car I was interested in was already priced incredibly fairly, so I knew there wasnt much wiggle room. Fortunately, Josh was willing to work with me on a trade-in value for my old Volkswagen Beetle to help make the numbers fit. Joshs knowledge and professionalism really helped minimize the typical hassles of buying a new car. I would recommend Balise Volkswagen to anyone in the market for a new (or used!) vehicle.

I went in to just look at cars with the hopes to maybe find something in my price range. I test drove a new Jetta and when Josh came back to the table he had my numbers right where I wanted them, he knew that i would walk out the door if they were not and worked with his manager to get it done. But as i looked out the window at the 2012 Passat I told Josh that if I left here not having driven it I would regret it. Needless to say he ran and grabbed the keys and off I was and LOVED IT. I got back and was so excited when everything looked great on paper! Josh is very professional and I would recommend him to anyone that is looking to buy a new or used car.

Before buying my new car at Balise VW, I was a little leery because I have never had a really good experience at any of the other dealers that I have dealt with in the past.However, I was pleasantly surprised at my experienced with sales rep Josh Formiglio at Balise. He seemed very genuine and didnt try to pressure me into anything. He was definitely willing to work with me, not against me. Additionally, I should add that the finance guy, Ryan, has an amazing amount of patience. I would absolutely recommend Josh to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

I visited Balise Volkswagen after seeing a certified pre-owned Golf on their website. Joshua Formiglio greeted me promptly and with sincerity. I asked to take a spin in the blue Golf and he quickly got the keys. He showed me the cars features and was friendly and upbeat the whole time. Even after I popped into the showroom for more literature and said 'hello' to others, I became convinced that Balise has an excellent staff and truly understand that pushy, overbearing, and condescending staff spoil a sale (or service experience) every time.Joshua also laid out some information about new purchases and VW's lease program too. Stuff that was shared in a "just so you have something to keep in mind" kind of way. I appreciated the information and the easy, straightforward manner in which he shared the info. So comfortable, in fact, that I didn't mind giving Josh my cell phone number as I told him that I wanted to look over the next couple of cars at other dealerships on my short list.Later that week, as life would have it, a friend introduced me to his used car and the terms were too good to pass up. Still, it's my pleasure--and the least that I could do--to let potential buyers know that Joshua's a good person who is fair, is knowledgeable about the vehicles that he sells, and honestly believes in treating people well.I'm happy to keep his card and to refer everyone that brings up a need for a decent car to steer them Joshua's way.

I purchased a new 2014 TDI Premium Beetle at Balise. Not only did I get a good price on my new vehicle, I also got a good trade.value for my Wrangler. Larry was my sales guy. When I drove the vehicle home I noticed a dent on the rear passenger side fender. Larry scheduled Dent Pros to repair the fender, no questions asked. Great job... can't tell there was a dent near the fuel filler. Balise didn't get ranked #1 for nothing...Balise has competitive pricing an excellent customer service.

Our 2011 Passat lease would have been up in three months, and we were going to be quite over on miles due to work travel. We were dreading it...but resolved. Chris, the sales manager, called to propose lease terms based on the mileage he saw, and offered a nice deal to re-up early. Taking in to account all payments in the new lease, he saved us at least half of what we would have paid in penalty on the expiring lease. We are beyond grateful and nearly beyond belief. And, after having an excellent experience leasing the 2011 with Yaris Martinez, we were delighted to be introduced to Larry (Lozowski - hope I am spelling his last name correctly, his card is in the car...!). We felt comfortable and confident with Larry right away. He was knowledgeable and did a great job getting us excited about the features of the new Passat. Previously, we thought we'd just be replacing one for another, no big deal....but we ended up excited! And having some great laughs! Just a great experience all around with a wonderful dealership. Just purchased a 1 year old vehicle from Balise. After I told the salesman over the phone I was probably going to take it, the price I had seen online went up by almost $300. Good thing I printed out the original listing , that they did honor. Due to transferring another set of license plates to my old car, that we are keeping, we wanted to handle the transfer of plates , registration , & sales tax ourselves at the DMV. Had to make 2 return trips to Balise, at 20 miles each way, for them to get the correct forms I needed. Upon the second trip, the business person suggested I follow him to the main office, about 15 miles away, to get the title certified by them that the DMV needed. I wasn't going to waste more of my gas so I rode along with him. Finally, with all the correct forms needed, I was able to process everything within 10 mins at the DMV. Three different DMV employees told me, Balise should have known right from the start what was needed. Everyone knows most dealerships will handle the DMV transactions as a "courtesy" for a fee. I guess they don't know what's needed when the paying customer wants to handle it. They even said ,We have runners that do that." Being there the previous day for 3 hours, we were understandably thirsty. No offers for a water or coffee. No admittance by the business person , salesman manager , or general manager of any mishandling on their part. I will never do business with them again!!

On Feburary 25th I agreed and signed on a price to buy a 2015 GTI at the Balise VW dealership in West Warwick RI but the sale did not get done. Apparently one of the Managers Greg, that wrote up the sale, doubled the discount and even after signing and agreeing on a price, I was told I could not buy the vehicle at the agreed upon price, which I signed for, because there was an accident with the rebate being doubled. My sales rep David proceeded to rip up the signed agreement, which we shook on, with the price, trade in amount, and financing rate. I was then given a revised rate with the "correct" discounted amount. I stated that I already committed to the deal I signed for. I was told they couldn't do that and it was now past 9pm, so I left the dealership. I tried calling the dealership's to speak with the GM, and Greg who is not the GM but is a manager who put the numbers together, called to say they had my license, that was left in a copy machine (which is a major inconvenience in itself) and apologized for his mistake with the numbers and stated it was only the second time it happened in four years. I told him I felt that the right thing to do would be to honor the deal given to me. I was told that couldn't be done, so I requested my license to be mailed back to me. I feel as though, a mistake like this should have been caught with the amount of back and forth as my trade-in was increased and an extended maintenance plan was added. If it was caught during the second look over and I was told it was a mistake, before I ever signed anything, I could understand. In my line of work, if a mistake like this were to happen, we typically are forced to absorb it. It is considered a cost of doing business. Sometimes a creative solution will fully offset the error or sometimes we just have to pony up. On the 28th, I did speak with the GM Michael, and another apology was made and I stressed nothing else was offered to me to help offset the pricing error, and he offer the choice of a tire warranty package or a extended schedual service, but neither of these services would have offset the mistake. It was a step in the right direction, but still a few hundred dollars in value off. I understand that accidents (or possibly dealer games) can happen, and apologies were made, but I am just really disappointed.

I had previously bought a 2010 VW Passat new, 5 years ago here at Balise. I drove the car for the past 5 years and absolutely loved the car and the service provided by Balise VW. This time around I was interested in the 2014 VW CC which were discounted do to the new model year 2015 being available. I worked with Charles Kinch a Sales Consultant who helped me decide on a color seeing there were 5 different colors to choose from in the CC line. Charles showed me the color he thought I'd like best, Island Grey, which was a huge help because I was lost on the color choice overall. I test drove the car and really liked it. Charles set up the pricing for me and finance options. After deciding on my trade in allowance for a 2005 BMW XI which my son had been driving, the paperwork came together quickly. While I was completing the paperwork with the finance manager, Yaris Martinez also a Sales Consultant, checked over my trade in to make sure I had removed all my belongings, although I assured him I had done so. Yaris discovered I had left my parking pass on the rear view mirror. This avoided a potential big issue for me on Monday morning. It was a very small thing but I was impressed with Yaris' attention to detail. He then had the car cleaned, gas tank filled, and switched my plates and clear plate covers onto the new VW CC. After the paperwork was completed (roughly 15 minutes), Yaris went over all the features of the new CC with me. Overall a great car buying experience, they put a very tough deal together for me, meanwhile there was coffee, hot chocolate, and pizza available while I waited. The process was very smooth and painless. This dealership is made up of real down to earth and knowledgeable professionals which is why I am a repeat customer, not to mention the VW's are a very strong value for your dollar, and extremely durable with regular maintenance, which is included on new VW's for the first 24 months.

I have bought a lot of cars over the years and this has been the best car purchase. We drove from Connecticut to Balise VW in Rhode Island because we were interested in a particular vehicle that they had advertised online. When we met with our salesman, David Coley, he took the time to go over all of the details of the vehicle we were interested in, and he also showed us other vehicles that we were interested in for comparison purposes. We spent over 3 hours looking at various cars, but never felt pressured to buy one car or another. David took the time to answer all of our questions. Ultimately we decided on purchasing the car that we had originally driven out to see, a used Jetta Sportswagen with only 7000 miles. When we came to pick up the car the following weekend, we noticed there was a minor problem with the door hinge of the car. Even though it was weekend and the autobody/repair shop didnt have all their staff around, David arranged for the car to be brought into service to have the door adjusted. After we signed the paperwork and purchased the car, David was happy to teach us the details of how to use the navigation, preset the satellite radio stations etc. He was really professional and it was a pleasure to have him as our salesman. Since the purchase David has been in contact with us to complete the Connecticut registration process and called twice to make see how we were enjoying our new car. Today, Greg, a sales manager at Balise, who we only spoke with for a few minutes, called to see how things were going. We had a very positive experience and would highly recommend Balise VW. Ask for David to take care of you!

My husband and I found a used vehicle that fit our needs online at Balise VW. We went in to check it out and Charlie Kinch was our sales consultant. He was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We did several test drives and stopped in at Balise VW several times over the course of 2 weeks and every single person there was nothing but nice and helpful (can't say that for some of the other dealerships we went to). Charlie was extremely helpful at getting us into the car we wanted and needed for our family and at a price we could afford. I really enjoyed my experience with the staff at Balise. The first day I went, I was met my Bob Matson. He was very knowledgeable, great to talk to and did not attempt high pressure sales tactics. Both my husband and I decided that we wanted to only work with him because of that first day's interaction. I was waiting for the new model year of the Beetle convertible, due to a feature that was coming out (back up camera). The Sales Mgr and Bob worked with us to get a great deal on the current model year vehicle, but getting the feature I wanted in my car. I ended up getting a top of the line model for a fantastic price, and without the wait.Loved working with them and looking forward to dealing with them again in the future.....

I started my research on the kind of engine I wanted to drive. I had seen all the inventory from the whole state and most of MA, CT. I wanted a fuel efficient, mid-sized vehicle without breaking the bank. So I went to the dealership, not once but a total of 5 Times. Not Just Balise but Every Volkswagen Dealership In RI and any that had a product of Volkswagen. Contrary to what Im used to Balise seems to set all the prices of most vehicles at the base price. So this was one of the factors why I chose to purchase from this company. Balise also has a great customer service rating which in my book means the difference. I was introduced to Mr. Charlie Kinch. He was a great consultant to work with. He was kind and effective at getting me what I wanted. He worked diligently to get my reasonable trade-in value and a workable interest rate in financing. He has called multiple times to check in to see if all is well, and continues customer service. I had the pleasure of purchasing a VW Jetta from Balise VW of Warwick this week. Our sales associate was welcoming, and understanding of our budget and what we wanted. I walked in only to browse around, not expecting to purchase thay day, as well as not thinking my budget would get me into a newer fully loaded Jetta. I walked out with a 2013 Jetta SE, with everything I wanted and staying right in range of my budget. The experience was great. It didn't even feel like we were there thay long, and that's because our sales associate was so great. I just recently purchased a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta from Balise Volkswagen and let me say this was the easiest, fastest most efficient vehicle purchase I ever made. I inquired online about a car I saw on the website and was immediately contacted by Andrew Harnick. We had a nice conversation about the vehicle and my trade and he sent me all the information I needed to make an informed decision before coming in. He also e-mailed me a link to the help me bookout my car and see what it was worth to save time. Then when I came, the car was fully gassed and cleaned and ready for me to test drive. He greeted me at the door, went over the car and its features and then we were off. When I got back we looked at my old car together and we booked it out again, and then he got me MORE for my trade than the online value! I have never been to a dealership that goes over what the internet says. Andrew worked to get me the best deal, the most for my trade and the lowest rate. After being turned down by metro Honda I placed an email to balise vw. And with in minutes of sending the email I got a call back from a very nice man named Andrew.. I explained my iffy credit situation. He said no problem. So we went the next day and he and his awesome financial team worked with us. which was not easy considering I had to drag both my kids with me kicking and screaming. The manager didn't want to negotiate because we had done our homework and for 2000 dollars they threw me out of the dealership. I'm a long time customer. They wouldn't even pull my credit report which is a good rate of 750 so they wouldn't have to negotiate. Please do you self a favor don't go to balise. I went with my boy friend car shopping and after hitting 6 different dealers we ended up at Balise Volkswagen. Chris Richards helped us and he was very accomodating...we didn't know a lot about the Jetta and he walked us around showing us all the differences factoring in my budget at the same time. He was very polite, and extremely professional. My boy friend bought the car from Chris. He was hands down better than the other hacks who were just trying to push us into a sale on all the wrong cars at all the other dealerships. One of the most unprofessional salesperson I have ever met, we went to see the BMW , first of all salesperson ( Charlie) did not know anything about the car, not even if the car had heated seats or not. He kept complaining that it's a Volkswagen dealership and as if we are making a mistake coming there for BMW. He was rude and pretty unprofessional, on the top of that when I tried complaining to the manager, some another salesperson took the call, might be his friend and did drama that she is not able to hear me. Never going to go there for any purchase or service ever.

This is the first positive private party survey that I have ever filled out after purchasing a car. To give you some background, I am 34, have above avg income, own multiple companies, and absolutely love negotiating and haggling for the best deal possible. I have been in sales and sales management for over 10 years. I can instantly recognize every cheesy sales tactic that salespeople try to utilize. I can deal with the stupid tactics because it's what they are trained to do but the one thing that drives me absolutely crazy is when they barely know anything about their product. One of the 1st rules of sales is know your product. I don't understand why so many dealerships employ salesmen that know virtually nothing about the cars they are selling. From an operations management perspective it blows my mind. I have purchased over 10 cars from multiple dealerships and the lack of knowledge of their sales staff never ceases to amaze me. This is until I met Yaris Martinez from Balise VW.I feel the need to share my experience with Yaris. Yaris was a consummate professional through the entire sales process. He didn't assume I was broke because I was young (which almost always happens), asked all the right questions to get me the car I wanted, and actually knew the answer to pretty much every question I had no matter how obscure they were. He was an expert on both the car I was trading in and the car I was buying. A huge thumbs up in my book.When we went to negotiate numbers Yaris came back with a vary reasonable offer for both my trade in and the price of the new car. I thought I could do a little better only because I had done my research on how much cars actually cost dealers, factory incentives, and the market value of my trade in. I told him what I was willing to pay and within 10 minutes and a few adjustments the deal was done. Upon picking up the car, Yaris personally helped me remove my belongings from my old car, noticed a few specs of dirt on the new car (even after it had been detailed) and had his detail guy cleaning small areas of dirt/dust that I would have never noticed had he not pointed it out. He also sat with me in the car and explained how to use every feature. After I got home that night I realized that I left my work's parking sticker on the windshield which cost $100 to replace. I emailed Yaris at 9:30 p.m. thinking I might hear from him in the morning and he responded immediately that he would grab it for me and I could pick it up first thing in the morning. I picked it up and he even gave me new adhesive for the sticker since it was already falling off. Yaris provided me hands down the best car buying experience and service I have ever encountered plus I received a phenomenal deal. If you are ever in the market for a new VW or any used car at Balise VW do yourself a favor and ask for Yaris. You will not be disappointed.

Confirmed on email my arrival time to test drive a used vehicle just prior to traveling 2 1/2 hrs. Arrive to get told the car was sold earlier that day. Salesman was professional but the young lady emailing customers not very knowledgeable or qualified to ensure the car wasn't sold before confirming a test drive appoinment. Very disappointed. Not very good business practice.

I take my car their for every schedule service, most of the times I do the appointment online (which is very user friendly) - prices are fair and people are very friendly. They also offer rides to you work place or loaner cars, so am very pleased with the service.

I stopped in without an appointment because the display on my Passat said I needed AdBlue (I have a TDI). It was just before 7pm and found that even though service was about to close, they were able to fill my fluid that I needed and scheduled my next appointment (I was overdue- why my AdBlue light was on). They offered me a free loaner car too when I'm coming in which helps as I drive a TON and don't have a lot of time to spend waiting for my car. Very professional, I totally recommend. By the way.. They didn't charge me for the fluid add!!

I bought my car (2011 Jetta SE) EXACTLY ONE MONTH AGO. Two weeks ago we got a light snow early morning, and I was on my way to work. I went to get into the car and the DOORS WERE FROZEN SHUT. It took me almost ten minutes to get into the car. Finally, after pulling on the door enough times it popped open...it was frozen. I started the car immediately and set everything onto defrost. I tried to roll down my automatic windows to get the dusting of snow off and that WAS FROZEN TOO. It took almost twenty minutes for the windshield and rear window to defrost....TWENTY MINUTES FOR A DUSTING OF SNOW. I got onto the road, as I hit the highway I realized my drivers side mirror was STILL COVERED IN ICE!! I COULDN'T SEE A THING. I GLANCED AT MY PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR AND THAT WAS DEFROSTED PERFECTLY. After I pulled over to my destination I called the salesman I had been dealing with since I bought the car and told him what happened. He immediately suggested I make an appointment with service.I'm an Emergency Room Nurse, I work 50+ hours a week and I'm going to school for a masters degree, I made the appointment that Friday but missed and went in today. Here's the kicker, I bought the car "VW CERTIFIED", according to my paperwork EVERYTHING WAS IN PROPER WORKING ORDER WHEN I BOUGHT THAT VEHICLE 30DAYS AGO. I went into service and I was asked to sign paperwork that I was responsible for a "DEDUCTIBLE". This car was sold to me with the drivers mirror defroster NOT WORKING, I asked to speak to the sales manager. I had the displeasure of meeting GREGG FLORIO, SALES MANAGER, he was arrogant, unprofessional and belligerent. I explained to him that I had literally driven the car off the lot, 30days ago. That there was no way I could have known about the problem if it didn't snow, and thank god it did within 30days, and not next winter. But as soon as I discovered the problem, I reported the problem; and that there is no way I could have caused the problem through "WEAR AND TEAR" because it's an electrical problem. This was a PREEXISTING CONDITION THAT WAS NOT DISCLOSED PRIOR TO MY PURCHASE, AND INDEED THIS VEHICLE SUPPOSEDLY PASSED A 150pt inspection!! The man who created the checklist even checked off that my 'NAVIGATION' WAS WORKING PROPERLY.......THIS CAR DOESN'T HAVE NAVIGATION!!!!! THAT GOES TO SHOW WHAT A THOROUGH JOB THEY DID. This man had the audacity to even argue about how many times it had snowed within the month and whether or not I knew about the problem earlier. I literally feel sick to my stomach that they have $15,000 of my hard earned money and are basically kicking me to the curb. They are selling bogus "Certifications" and it's against the law, and so help me I will make sure that the proper authorities are made aware of this scam they are running. I am calling every Consumer Affair Agencies, as well as the Attorney General, the BBB and whoever else may be able to help me with this un-reputable dealership. It's just NOT RIGHT. IT'S BAD BUSINESS, AND IT'S A SHAME. Just one last note, a dealership with nothing but 4 and 5 stars should be a RED FLAG TO ANYONE OUT THERE ANYWAY.

The biggest factor in my review is the sales person (Yaris Martinez). He meant me at the door with a big warm welcome. He truly made the task of purchasing a new car painless. He was prepared and delivered when he said he would there was no time wasting. I also had to bring car in for a application that needed to be applied to the car on Saturday I let Yaris know that my son was palying in a soocer game and I can not miss it. Yaris spoke with his manager Greg Florio in less than 3 minutes I was off to my son's game in a car. Both Yaris and Greg understood because I travel for work during the week that my time with my family on the weekend is extremly important to me as a father and made sure that I did not have to miss it by waiting for my car. Very good dealership. Traded my 2003 Beetle for a 2008 Beetle Convertible. Given a fair trade value and their pricing of my new Beetle was a competitive one good price. Greg sales manager very professional and really cares about his customers. Not the typical sales manager who once you purchase a car does not care about customer. Greg goes the extra mile to take care of any concerns a customer may have. Bill service manager and Al in service Dept also listen to customers and do a very good job in service. Service waiting area very nice and comfortable. I would recommend this Dealership for a Used Or New Car.

I can't say enough how pleased I was with Balise VW! The dealership was over 3.5 hours away from where I live and they worked out all of my questions and concerns over the phone before I had even driven the car. They were able to negotiate an approximate deal for my trade in as well as give me great information on the Used Passat TDI I was buying (which turned out to be an incredible car!). The customer service is far greater than I could have hoped and even though I had a fairly large blunder (drove almost 4 hours to the dealership and forgot the title for my trade in at home) they did everything they had to in order to allow me to leave with my new car! Couldn't be any more pleased with the overall experience I had and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a new or used Volkswagen.

I was sold a CPO 2011 VW GTI with 3 bent wheels. This dealer sent one wheel out for repair and put it back on the car. I took to another dealer and they identified 3 bent wheels, 1 of which was a wheel the selling dealer (Balise) claimed to have had repaired. When I contacted them about the 1 wheel which was not repaired, as well as 2 other bent wheels, they told me it's not their problem. They could not even diagnose the problem was 3 wheels, where another dealer could do this by simply putting the car on a lift and rotating the wheels by hand. Balise has been very unhelpful and not friendly about this problem, and they continue to say "how do we know you didn't bend the wheels". I say the same thing back - "How do you know they weren't bent when I bought the car" and they say, sure they could have been bent. But I get no customer service, just attitude and no help. Scott VW has been much more helpful and kind, and VWoA has open complaints about Balise for their sales and service.

I went to Balise to purchase a used 2008 Subaru Legacy I had seen online. On my initial visit I was able to test drive the car and discuss the trade in of my vehicle. The dealership did not have the title for the Subaru yet but assured me they would call me as soon as it came in. After a week of waiting, they did call and I went that day. There was no haggling, the process was as quick as could be, and I left with my "new" car.Everyone involved was very nice and friendly. This was about as easy a car buying experience there can be.

Got 4 new tires. Had difficulty with one of them and the service team went out of their way to make sure it was fixed. From the moment I pulled in the service center I felt welcome and important. I was kept up to date with my cars progress and was able to use the facilities wifi to work on my computer. I would absolutely recommend Balise to everyone!

We worked with Andrew Harnick. We were not planning on buying anything. We had just been curious about the new Beetle design. We ended up buying a convertible. (another thing we weren't looking for) We have had, and been witness to numerous car buying experiences. I had a great experience dealing with Yaris Martinez, my salesman at Balise VW. I am from Pennsylvania, and found the VW Beetle TDI Convertible that I wanted online on Auto Trader; it was located at Balise. The price was great and there was an Internet discount. I called and spoke to Yaris to confirm availability of the car. He said it seemed to be available in their stock on the computer, but he wanted to double check to make sure. I asked him to call me back in 10 minutes. He called me back in under 10 minutes (probably 5 minutes tops). The great communication just kept on going, from submitting my finance app within 30 minutes of the first phone contact (I called in the evening), to being approved first thing the next morning. Yaris was great with all methods of communication (email, phone, and especially texting, which was wonderful for me, I do a lot of business texting). He was very attentive. I'm a busy person and I want answers ASAP so I can move on. The Beetle Convertible was a hard-to-find color (toffee brown metallic), and had all the options I wanted. This is my first "toy/summer" car and it meant a lot to me to have it exactly as I wanted it, because I will have it for many years to come. This was all discussed with Yaris, and he assured me he'd do his best to get me that particular car, and he delivered. Everything was discussed in advance so I didn't travel there for nothing, and I had no surprises. He is very prompt with his communication, does not use the high-pressure car salesman technique (which I hate), and probably the best car salesman I've ever had. He's a very relaxed and friendly person, and I felt comfortable. It was worth the travel from PA to deal with Yaris and Balise VW. I didn't have much time to look at Balise's other inventory due to the traveling, but my husband was impressed with Balise's stock of diesel manual transmission VW's as well as their quantity of competitively priced VW's in general. The next time we need a car, I wouldn't hesitate to go back and see Yaris and Balise again! It would be worth the trip. Out-of-staters, don't hesitate to travel there!

I was a first time buyer and really didn't know what to expect from a dealership. I looked online and saw that Balise had great prices and cars to choose from. As soon as I inquired about a vehicle, I got an email from the online sales manager and she was very friendly and helpful, sending me links to their website to cars that met my needs. The customer service right from the beginning was excellent. When I went down to the dealership, I was immediately greeted with a smile by the sales manager, Greg, who shook my hand and directed me to the salesman that I ended up working with, Andrew. Andrew showed me the car that I really liked, took me on a test drive, and told me everything I needed to know about the vehicle. I had some problems, unrelated to Balise, with my insurance so I couldn't take the car home that day. Andrew personally drove me back home that night. This was remarkable to me- he was so friendly and really helped me with everything. I highly recommend Balise, their customer service and their selection is great- and ask for Andrew!

My husband and I bought a 2013 Passat in November and were told by the salesman ( Yaris Martinez) and Financial officer ( Justin Fortner) that the " platinum plan" we purchased to service the vehicle would include free oil changes at 5,000 miles, 10,000 , 15,000 miles etc. When I called to schedule the appointment for the oil change at 5,000 miles the service technician " Stephanie" was fresh and abrupt with me on the phone, saying that can't be true because the new vehicles ( diesels) have a recommended oil change at 10,000 NOT 5,000. When I arrived for the appointment she said " I don't know why they are telling customer's that, it's not true." Two phone calls to Mr. Fortner for clarification have been unanswered. No courtesy. Subsequently, I made an appointment last week because the " blue tooth" was defective. They called me Tuesday 3/19/13 to tell me the part was in and wanted me to schedule an appointment with the service department. I was left on the phone, listening to music for so long I had to hang up and call back at another time. I will not recommend this dealership to family, friends or anyone. Michael K, the General Manager is by far 1 of the most Honest salesmen I have ever met. There are no hidden costs with him, he is a bottom line guy. He will give you the best deal he can, the first time.Yaris Martinez, I'll call him my personal Salesman, is one of the nicest guys you'll meet. Like Michael, no hidden agenda. These guys no there stuff and go above and beyond! You call him with a question and he actually calls you back that same day. He will do whatever it takes to make you happy. I've always been a Nissan guy, but all my friends seem to have VW's so I had to check them out and they all told me to go to Balise and it was great. I received a letter from Balise VW with a few specials for their service department. What a pleasant surprise when I arrived! I usually brought my Passat to another dealer, but I was disappointed with my last couple of services; they really weren't listening to what I was telling them and weren't considerate of my time. I don't know how they knew I was due for service, but I made an appointment when I got the coupons. Bill (who is the service manager) greeted me by my name when I drove in, took note of my concerns and my car was in and out of the shop while I waited a very reasonable amount of time!! Very happy I tried Balise and definitely will be back! Thanks Bill!!!

I searched around, different delaerships, different makes and models. When I visited Balise Volkswagen though it all became clear. Chris listened to me. On a scale of 1 to 10...he's a 12!!! He narrowed down my long list of wants and got me into a Passat that was a perfect fit. Chris was friendly and very professional. He made it easy to make up my mind and buy a VW. Bought a new GTI here, and our salesperson Wade was pretty nice at first. However, once we started making the deal to trade in my old vehicle, things got a little iffy. He offered us about half of what Kelly Blue Book suggested that my car was realistically worth (yes, I used trade-in value for the condition my car was in). I knew he would low-ball me, what dealership doesn't? They have to make money, and this is a big part of how they do it. But to offer THAT low of a price was insulting, plain and simple. They had the car I wanted though, so once we had worked out the numbers to a payment I was happy with, we did the deal. I took the car home and have been happily driving it ever since. Unfortunately, when we filled out the paperwork, they apparently forgot to fill out the rebate form. Once they had worked out the deal, of course, that money would go to them. So they proceeded to call us, and told us that there was one more paper to sign that reduced the excess mileage fee (car is leased).We found out why they really wanted us to come in later, because apparently someone mentioned over the phone that they needed the rebate paper signed. When asked about the mileage fee, they told us that it wasn't changing after all. Not really happy with their dishonesty, we ignored further phone calls.One day, in typical VW fashion, I got a warning light on the dash. I came into Balise to have it checked out, and as I was trying to leave, what seemed like a gang of salespeople cornered me, asking about the paperwork. They threatened to take the car away, and were exceptionally rude. Note: the lease paperwork was signed and by this point they had absolutely no right to take the vehicle from me. I called my father, whose signature they needed, and a day or so later, he contacted the dealership and said that he'd be able to come sign the paper for them.Interestingly enough, they didn't need him to come in anymore... I have to wonder if they just forged his signature. Knowing the way these people do business, it's definitely something to look into.Anyway, I've been going to another VW dealer for all maintenance and warranty work since then. Far friendlier, much less slimy. Balise feels like an old-school used car dealership compared to this place. Balise, if you read this: get your customer service in shape. You've lost my future business, and I've told all my VW enthusiast friends to look elsewhere as well. You have a lot of potential with your location and recent expansion work.

Terrible experience - I do not recommend them, will never buy from them, and may not even buy a VW because of them. We negotiated the price of the used car (overall, not a bad experience), but as soon as we negotiated the price, I did a little research and wanted to finance on my own. They immediately started stonewalling, begging, and then added a 5-day wait to purchase due to "internal" policies. I've owned about 6 cars in my life and this is the only dealer that has ever done this. It was pathetic and unsatisfactory. Speedcraft VW is a few miles south and while I didn't buy from them yet, they're another option close by.

Dennis gave me a good deal on my new Jetta. He was honest and forthcoming on the phone. The price he quoted me was the price I got when I went into the dealership. He explained on the phone the total price of the vehicle, including taxes and fees, so I knew the bottom line when I went in. I applied for financing on the internet, so everything was quick and easy.

leased a VW Jetta about a year ago and ever since i have regretted it , 1, they are not a friendly place and two they lie about prices and what they can give and do for you, plus when i drive it , it is like being in a tin can . About a month ago we looked at a used car there , in hopes to get rid of the jetta, the price for the car online was not the price they wanted when we got there, the price was 6000 more, and they would not even deal with my jetta,( by the way, the car we wanted is still there and the price is 4000 less then the online price was) this week i received a letter for a buy back program, so i went to see what i can do, they were going to give me a thousand dollars less then what I needed to get rid of it, then the General Manager said he could give me what I need to get out of the lease if I buy a new one !!! Are they crazy !!! never again will I deal with them ...

I have always loved the Volkswagon Jetta, but thought it would be impossible to afford. Nancy Mancini at Balise VW in Warwick was so pleasant to work with, she spent her whole day with me finding me a Jetta I could afford. She was patient yet efficient and was really a nice woman who really knew her cars. I would definitely return there for my next car due to my terrific experience!

Upon bringing my relatively new Tig in for it's first service, I had the extreme fortune of working with Ann. She remembered me from when I purchased the car and greeted me warmly. She was more than happy to listen to my concerns of a small scratch and willing to talk with the service providers in the back to see if they could take care of small mark. After the service had been performed on my vehicle, Ann walked me out to my car and noted that it's lack-luster appearance. Even though Balise's wash is complimentary, she wasn't happy with how it looked. Nor was she happy that my small scratch hadn't been taken care of. She apologized and took the car back in to be properly cleaned. While I understand how workloads can become overwhelming and small details can be overlooked, I greatly appreciate the attention Ann and the service guys gave to me. To further add to Ann's heart-warming service, she walked me out to my Tig a second time to make sure that all the details were taken care of. Unfortunately she gave me the bad news that something had stained the hood of my car. We both agreed that this should never have happened, so Ann told me she would investigate my options. Before I even got home, Ann had called to inform me that they would be able and willing to repaint the hood of the car. Through several days of communication, I was always impressed with Ann's timely responsiveness, many time within the half hour of my own call. Her attention to my needs truly solidified the family-like feelings that I have already developed towards Balise. Once we had determined the day to start my bodywork, Balise offered a complimentary vehicle, which was even prepared for me before I arrived (this was great forethought, as it cut down my wait time!) Within a few days, I had my Tig back, looking just as beautiful as the day I bought it! A huge thank you to Ann for taking care of my vehicle and making me feel welcome at Balise.

I negotiated all condition of sale directly with GM over the phone. Although he refused to email me the numbers in writing, every single number discussed over the phone proven right, so we ended up with both a new vehicle and very enjoyable experience (a rarity these days). After agreeing on the price (which was sufficiently aggressive), the GM gave me the full disclosure on the OTD ("out the door") price: title/registration fees, sales taxes and the dealer's documentation fee (a pure profit for a dealer, but nonetheless the lowest I've seen before). When I came in, the paperwork was ready in the matter of minutes. All numbers matched those discussed over the phone with no surprise or "out-of-the blue" fees. After pre-qualifying me for a promotional financing rate (0% at the time) all was said and done. While they were working on the credit check, a very knowledgeable salesperson worked with us to explain the vehicle features and answered our questions about the vehicle. Noticing that we arrived in Japanese car, he pointed out the differences on how things work in our car and the Touareg. Very nice touch. The car was delivered the next day. We left happy.

Never in my life have i ever met such great guys. Yaris especially. If you want a good car buying experience go to him. i have bought two cars from him this past year and let me tell you that he just knows how to get you into the vehicle you want for the price you want. no other dealership has treated me so kindly and negotiated a deal with me like he did. i had several problems with my new vehicle. registration was messed up, door panel had scratches and this is after i drove it off the lot that i noticed the interior damage, still, yaris replaced the part for me, free of charge. all i can say is that if you want a great car buying experience, go to Yaris at Balise Volkswagen in west warwick RI. dont bother worrying about the drive it takes, i drive 66 miles down there from massachusetts and they are the only dealership i plan on going to the rest of my life.now for justin fortner. two words, amazing accountant. so quick with the paperwork. knew the answer to all my questions and helped me with my financing and actually explained why and what i was signing. this is my second car buying experience and i feel now i know the ropes of what to do when i go to buy a new vehicle from them. my father had to come down and co sign and we live in massachusetts. he a grumpy fellow, but justin even had little arrow sticky notes where my father was to sign and initial and all the paper work was laid out when we walked in the door. quick and easy. my overall experience at balise is way over a ten. they blew my mind with their service and over all customer experience. they make you feel like the only customer when your there. i highly recommend going there for the most excellent service and customer experience. plus they have a good taste in music in the store! thank you so much for everything Yaris. you are a great guy first and a great car salesman. same goes for you justin. you guys helped me out without jerking me around like every other car dealership i have been to and not bought cars from there. balise vw is the only place i will buy a vehicle from in the future, and it will be from yaris. Working with Mike Masciarelli made purchasing my new Tiguan a stress free experience. Mike was always quick to return phone calls, and consistently patient while my wife and I made the decision to buy. After visiting several other dealerships, I can easily say that Mike's personal attention and dedication to our sale was one of the main factors for purchasing at Balise. Even after our sale was complete, Mike was calling to check on how we were like the vehicle. When I commented about a rattling sound, he set up an appointment and then took the time to listen to the rattle himself. He then walked with me down to service and waited until a service member was available to explain the situation. I couldn't be happier with the treatment I received. I felt like I was part of the Balise family, getting special treatment!When working with the sales team, I was impressed with how they were able to work with a sales price from another dealership, while also working with a trade in quote from a third dealership. Because they were so flexible and amenable when working with the sale, not only would I return there to buy another car, but I will be recommending that family and friends check them out too.

Just the facts:let me start by saying Yaris Martinez was an excellent sales person. I gave 5 stars on customer service reflecting Yaris's efforts on this sale. To be fair I used an internet advertisement to negotiate price, they did not have an equivalent car in stock. Greg (sales manager) attempted to have me sign on the deal prior to even seeing the car as they had to do a dealer swap/buy to get it. I told him I would only buy what I have driven/inspected. The car had a flaw that needed repair(AC button was rubbing on the dash trim), he said, "I will have it fixed and the car will be right". The next day my finance terms we not as agreed (I could not put down 10K, had to put down 5K costing me a few hundred in interest), the price of the car was not as agreed (increase of 200.00) and the button was not repaired as Greg said it would be. I was told it would be a warrantee repair once the button failed.... if it failed. Gregs exact words "You can buy the car or we can sell it to someone else and make more money on the car". I said, "if that is that what you want, OK", and paid the same price at your competitor 45 minutes later. all went without a hitch. I am not saying this is a bad dealership in total, but I don't work with people who can't keep their word to me in the first 30 minutes of working together. The button was a small thing, but what about the future? I intend to run the car to end of life, not the dealership for me. I am sure Yaris will sell that car and all will be well shortly for Balise. Except for an integrity problem with management I had fun almost buying a new car, thanks Yaris.

Dealing with this company and there internet sales is pointless, they continue to send mass emails and do not respond to any questions you as or emails that you send to them. After two weeks and multiple emails I have gotten no where and have just given up dealing with them.

From first call until I pikced up my new Eos the service was outstanding. Yaris was very prompt and not pushy at all as well as being very knowlegeable on the Eos. Mike K (general manager) was very fair and pleasant. He made us feel at home and we spoke for awhile...it was as though we had been friends for a long time. Great experience from first contact to closing paperwork with Justin who explained every finacial detail. No problem recommending this dealership to anyone interested in a very fair and honest buying experience.

My experience at Balise VW was definitely a bit of a surprise. I assumed I would be pressured and talked into buying something I couldn't afford, as has been my experience pretty much every time I've looked at cars. I went in with specific budget limits and my salesperson Bob Wilson was always very conscious of these and made sure to always consider them during the buying process. We went through a handful of new and used vehicles, and Bob was always ready and willing to go for a test drive in all of them, as well as sit down and go through the price and payment options at length. It's mostly due to his diligence that I ended up buying my car there. He was very communicative in the week or so it took to settle on something, always calling and leaving voicemails as he got new information since I could never answer my phone, and always answering his phone or calling back promptly when I called and asked questions. Chuck (unsure of his last name) and Justin Fortner were also extremely helpful and willing to negotiate on prices and their offer on my trade-in in order to get the car I wanted down into my price range. I haven't had to worry or do any of the legwork myself when it came to registration and insurance on the vehicle as they've taken care of all of that for me, which is very much appreciated. Every time I walk in I'm greeted by everyone that I worked with there, with a smile and a handshake which makes me feel welcome and they treat me like an important customer. I ended up buying the car late on a Sunday and they close at 6 and I could only get there around 5:45 to finalize everything and sign paperwork (everyone knows what a lengthy process that can sometimes be). Bob, Justin, and Chuck all stayed well after closing time to make sure that I was able to drive off the lot that night (I would not have been able to do any of this during the week so they saved me a week of not having the car). Since the service department was closed by that time they couldn't do a final walkthrough of the car and deal with a few small issues I found, so Bob made sure to note these things and I brought the car in this morning (one week after sale) and the service department was more than happy to go through my every little detail and were helpful in rectifying everything I identified. I noticed some scratches on the passenger side window for example that I hadn't seen the first few days driving the car and without any question they ordered a brand new window with no charge to me. In the service department I dealt with Ann who was very friendly and had no problem making a note of all my concerns and making sure that all of them were addressed. Overall, everyone that I dealt with at Balise was welcoming, friendly, and accomodating, and I would recommend visiting Bob Wilson if you're in the market for a new or used VW.

I had a great experience with Balise VW!!!! I purchased a 2012 VW Jetta TDI in November. This is my second purchase from this dealer. I love my car! The employee that I worked with (Michael) is the GM of the dealership. He is courteous, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Everyone at the dealership is friendly. There isn't a time that I go into the store that is not buzzing with customers! In addition I am very pleased with the service department at Balise. My service advisor Al is a pleasure to deal with.All in all I give Balise a 10! I highly recommend them to anyone !

Not only did he make the sale, but he bent over backwards for me! I am a spoiled brat,[thanks to my husband], and I gave him a hard time. Why? Because I wanted that car!!! I was very pleased with my salesman Yaris. He was able to give me thorough information about the various models of volkswagens pros and cons of purchasing a diesel. I did not have to hassle about price as Balise gave me the best price. Since purchasing the car Yaris has also been very helpful after the sale in answering questions about certain workings of the car, programming a new phone. I would highly recommend Balise and more specifically Yaris.

I just purchased a 2012 Passat VW from Mr. Wade Murry at Balise VW, and I would highly recommend this particular sales agent and dealership for a new car purchase. Mr. Murray had a very thorugh knowledge of the VW product and was able to provide valuable insight and guidance on all VW car models under consideration by me. Once I selected the Passat, he was extremely fair in his sales negotiations with me while not being overbearing and agressive as many sales people are in the car industry. Also, the dealership provided very fair consideration in the trade-in of my 2000 Jeep in order to make the deal work.All in all, a very good experience in working with Mr. Murray and Balise VW!!I would rate the experience a 5 out of 5!!

We decided to go to Belise Volkswagen on the recommendation of our employer. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, especially since this was our first time returning a lease. The salesman that took care of us was Yaris Martinez, and he was great. He was patient with our questions, and really knew what he was talking about regarding the used vehicle that we decided to purchase. We learned that Yaris actually worked his way up from a different position in the company to a salesman, which only increased his knowledge about the cars and policies. We love Volkswagen, and are happy to have found this great dealership, as well as Yaris. It felt really good to go into a car dealership and not feel pressured into any decisions, or something that we didn't actually want. We will certainly be back in the future.

From start to finish, the service at Balilse was fantastic. I am not a car person and buying a car is not usually a positive experience for me, but Dennis Holley made it a pleasure to get a car. He was friendly to the whole family and listened to my needs and carefully helped me to find the right car and deal for me and my family. He facililtated the process so that it was not too long--enabling us to get home to our puppy who had been home alone for hours! Days later, when I realized that I had left a CD and a cassette tape in the vehicle we had traded in, Dennis went right out and rescued them for me, even offering to mail them to me! As it was, I decided to wait until the plates came in and picked them up at the same time, but even then, Dennis, who was clearly busy, made it a point to come out in the cold and put the plates on for me. I truly appreciate all he did and would recommend him and the Balise dealership to everyone.

Yaris was very helpful, professional, and friendly all must characteristics of an excellent car salesman. The paperwork process went by quickly without any issues and everything was fully explained to me. Stay far away from this dealership. Sold us a used Volvo S60 that had a blown head gasket within 2 weeks of us purchasing it. Had to repeatedly fight with them to get it fixed. They do NOT return phone calls, and make it very difficult for you to try to resolve any issue. Finally got the car in, and they made us pay 25% of the total cost even though they originally told us they would cover it 100%. Totally went back on their word. Tried to email corporate office to complain. Secretary was beyond rude, and gave us wrong email address. When I called her back to tell her it was wrong, she corrected it in a very unpleasant manner. She then forwarded the email to the people at Balise that I was having the problem with. Why would I want it forwarded to them? They had given me the run around for 2 months, and had no interest in doing the right thing. Mike K, (service manager/owner) proceeded to call my house phone and my cell phone 7 times in less than 10 minutes. When I called him back, he accused me of harrassing the secretary (the one that I had to call twice because she gave me the wrong email address). This is laughable since he was the one harrassing me calling over, and over again. Will NEVER return to this dealership, and if you value any kind of customer service, I suggest you never go there either. I have made it so that noone i know will go to Balise VW. If you really want a Volkswagon, find another, more reputable dealership.

After selling our GTI privately we test drove several makes and models...ultimately we came back to VW for our 6th time. We wanted a new Jetta, had to be standard with a sunroof - anything else was extra. No local dealers had what we wanted so we web-searched several dealers in New England, finding three that had our car. Balise had the best price and Chuck immediately had Dennis follow up with us. Within three days we had everything in writing with little haggling - the other dealers would not do that!! We traveled from northern NH to RI, 270 miles one way, met Chuck and Dennis, reviewed the offer...WITH NO SURPRISES, finalized the deal w/Stefan and in two hours drove away all smiles.

I started shopping for a car about two weeks before I eventually bought a VW Jetta. I stopped and almost bought a car at Scott VW but by the time I finished getting held over the coals for not financing at 6 percent interest and all the different "smog, and doc fees" I left and almost didn't want a VW anymore... My friend told me just to try Balise and I'm glad I did! I didn't get ganged up on right when I got out of my car like everywhere else. I walked in and was promptly greeted by Dennis and Justin who were so nice! Very refreshing! They seemed like they actually liked being there to help and had positive attitudes even with all my crazy questions. They had TONS of cars right there on their lot and had two of just what I was looking for! I left with the deal I said I was going to get and the car I wanted. Oh, and free maintenance! I highly recommend Balise Vw for many reasons. First and foremost they gave me the best deal on my trade in . Balise had the lowest price advertised on the 4 door golf 2012 Tdi with a manual transmission. No other dealer was willing to go as low as they had on my out the door price, no one! I don't think it could of went any smoother with the help of my sales associate Yaris Martinez who is very friendly , non pressuring, very knowledgable, and was able to deliver me the best deal out there. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing my golf Tdi and many dealers quoted me higher to much higher numbers on my new purchase. I'm still flabbergasted as to how they made any money. Yaris also made sure that once the deal was agreed upon that he got me out the door quickly as I requested him to do so. I've owned vehicles prior to the golf Tdi and honestly I couldnt be more pleased with the golfs looks, handling, and performance while still getting awesome mpg not to mention the diesels longevity.

May of this year I was out shopping with my son for a new vehicle since our lease was about to end in October. My son began the process of visiting various dealerships before deciding upon Balise. From the very moment we walked in the door the dealership staff was friendly, courteous and professional. We never felt uncomfortable, pressured or spoken down too as we did at other dealerships that we had previously visited. Our sales rep, Mike Masciarelli, was very knowledgeable and understanding of our needs. It has been 5 months since we purchased our new GTI and I will say that we are very pleased with the purchase and service. After numerus frustrating search for a vehicle, i finally came across Balise Volkswagon. As soon as i got to the premises i was greeted by Wade Murry. I made my choice- a Nissan Murano. I think Wade sensed my frustration because he said to me "we will get this done with as quickly as possible and get you out of here", and i thought yeah right, isn't that what they all say.. I got my Nissan Murano amazingly easier than i thought. Nobody in my family believed me when i told "yep, i got my car today". Wade came all the way to my house to get me some of the paperwork the next day. He filled my gas for me and thanked me for doing business with Balise. A few days after i got the Murano, he called to see how i was doing and if i find everything ok. I totally agree when people say they treat you as family an as such I'm just gonna say.....HOW WOULD A GIRL DO WITHOUT WADE

My daughter was ready to buy her dream car a new Volkswagon CC after saving for 2 yrs. Her first experience at a dealership was very high pressure and unprofessional & it was also scary for me as I am newly a single Mom. I then called Balise VW & spoke directly to Chuck the Sales Manager & told him of my previous experience. He was so professional, attentive & truly caring of our needs. Having children of his own, he understood my concerns and how important it was for us to remember this "milestone" fondly. He then made sure he put us in the hands of a seasoned professional, Gregg in Sales. He was also so attentive & genuinely caring. He took the time to listen to our needs and made SURE we got exactly what we wanted with no pressure whatsoever. My daughter wanted a black CC, automatic transmission and we were "never" once showed anything different. We were told they would do anything they could to find it for us...and they did!! :) They also understood my daughter was on a tight budget & made sure they gave her the very best price possible with NO GAMES!! To make sure, I called other VW dealers, price shopped and no one could beat the price (they also couldn't believe how great the deal was!). We also had to deal with Justin, Asst. Sales Manager & was treated no differently. The day we went to pick up her car, she was greeted by her car with the biggest red bow & streamers...she was so happy she cried! Gregg then walked her through every function of the car, and patiently answered any questions she had. Well, we truly got the white glove treatment and felt we were taken care of no less than if we were family! I walked in having researched the car for a few months--a red 2011 Golf TDI. Nancy was polite, concise, and knew exactly what she was doing, and I was extremely impressed with both her and the dealership as a whole. I had come on the weekend of a large sale, and the entire place was bustling, but Nancy managed to set me up almost immediately (a ten, fifteen minute wait at most) with a test drive. Nancy was incredibly dedicated in following up with me, making sure that I was perfectly satisfied with the car, the way it was shipped to me, and answering my questions about maintenance, oil, my warranty, etc. She didn't know the answer to a couple of my questions, but I would hear responses from her within a couple hours of asking. I knew that the car had already been marked down, and because there was no negotiating to be done about price, we were able to save a lot of time. (I left with the car 800 dollars below invoice.) I would recommend Nancy to anyone looking for a salesperson who communicates both clearly and effectively, who is polite and friendly, and who is dedicated in making sure everything is just the way you like it until the car is in your driveway.

I had been driving a 2002 Chevy Suburban for the last five years. Now my kids are grown and are driving themselves and my daughter got a 2004 VW Beetle Convertible. She asked me to go for a ride with the top down. I am 6' tall and thought if I got in this car I would break it and not fit in it! Well, that was the beginning of my VW experience. I went to Balise VW the very next day and ended up purchasing a 2008 VW New Beetle Convertible, gecko green with a tan top! And to say that I love this car is an understatement!!! I am 51 years old and am so loving this car!!! Everywhere I go someone has something to say, and I mean wonderful things! Dealing with Balise was a wonderful experience from beginning to end!!! I dealt with Norm and Chuck, I met Mike and dealt with Jeannie at the end for the purchase! They were all wonderful people to deal with and really cared about my purchase! I haven't even thought about my Suburban since!!! And the gas mileage is incredible!!! I fill up once every two weeks, only because it is summer and I am always going out for a ride!! My husband and I are so tan it is incredible! I haven't been this tan since high school!! And I have it all decorated with flower magnets, flower steering wheel cover, a big pink flower in the vase and pink flower license plate frames in the front and back!! My wife and I recently bought our first VW from Dennis. He made the car purchase process that we normally dread rather pleasant. He listened to all of our concerns about our new vehicle and went above and beyond to find a satisfactory resolution to all of them and gave us a great deal on the car to boot! My wife and i actually travelled from just north of Boston shop at Balise because they seemed from our research to have the best deals around in addition to a low-pressure sales team. We would absolutely recommend anyone shopping for a VW in the Warwick, RI area go speak with Dennis at Balise!Update: This update is long overdue - Shortly after purchasing the vehicle in question, we discovered problem after problem with the car. First we discovered that mice had apparently been nesting in the engine compartment and snacking on a vacuum hose. (After getting very animated in the showroom over this issue, Balise finally agreed to cover approx 2/3 of the cost. That was the last time we even bothered with this dealership as it was such a hassle to get them admit any responsibility for this damage, less than 5 days after taking delivery of the car.) Numerous repairs had to be made to the windows, door latches and the convertible top. The car was in the shop at least once every two months for the 1st year and 1/2 we owned it. Luckily it was a covered under a VW Certified Pre-Owned warranty, so all the repairs were covered. That brings me to the most important part of the story. When we attempted to the get oil changed for the 1st time, we discovered that the subframe of the car had been damaged. This damage, which certainly occurred prior to our owning the car, made it impossible to properly change the oil. So, that would mean that all these issues went unnoticed by Balise when they certified this car, or perhaps they never performed the certified inspection in the first place? I don't know, but they certainly didn't change the oil, which I think I can safely assume is part of VW's certified pre-owned inspection and prep. The VW dealer in Medford, MA we had been taking this car to for service went to bat for us with VW corporate, and VW agreed to cover this $2000+ repair.The TD;DR of it is this: Balise sold us a "Certified Pre-Owned" car, that in my opinion, they never inspected, that had at least $4000 (retail) of defects/damage that the pre-owned inspection would have required them to fix. This should not be a reflection of our sales person, as I'm fairly certain he had no idea, but someone at Balise did, I'm sure.

Al explained all the work that needed to be done and the estimated cost to repair my vehicle. Unfortunately, the cost of repairs for my 10 year old Jetta Wagon was going to be high, therefore I made the decision to instead put the money in to a downpayment for a new vehicle. Justin and Nancy were very accommodating both on the phone and in person. They worked with me to get the best possible price on the Jetta, and moved efficiently through the paper work to get me on the road quickly. In addition, they gave me good advice on insurance. They kept the dealership open late on a Sunday to allow me to work things out with the insurance company.Ginnie did work hard to get me to take on some of the extended warranty options, but she was not overly aggressive. I would recommend to a buyer at Balise to make sure you take your time, and ask Ginnie questions so that you fully understand the impact on your payments any additional service might have.All in all it was a great experience! Like most people I researched my new car purchase for months before stepping in the dealership. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth/painless the whole experience was. Nancy is a very knowledgable salesperson. Nothing is worse than when you know more about the car than the salesperson trying to sell it to you. This was not the case. The car I bought was a 11' VW GTI Autobahn pkg. I walked in the door with a number in mind. I told Nancy that I did not want to go back and forth on price - my last vehicle was totaled so there was no trade. She spoke to the salesmanager and came back with a price that was better than I expected - when is the last time that has happened? They also helped my obtain a tax credit letter from my insurance company that allowed me to by the car tax free. The service and parts departments are very courteous and for me the location is very convenient. I would absolutely reccomend them anyone looking for a new/used car.

I recently bought a 2011 Jetta with the help of Norm Lefebvre. My experience with Norm was exceptional. I had been to numerous dealerships over the course of a few weeks and encountered the 'typical' car salesmen who appear to attack your every weakness. Norm, however, was honest about the cars, prices, etc; respectful of my wants; and extremely helpful in finding me a car that best suited my needs. I also met with Justin who was very helpful in allowing me the best deal possible for the car. Justin was also honest and made me feel as though he was looking into the best interest of not only himself, Norm and the dealership, but also in myself as the buyer.Jeanne was the last person I met with at Balise and my time with her too was worth mentioning. Jeanne made, what can be the most stressful part of buying a car fun, quick and easy. Thank you to Jeanne to ending my time at Balise on a high note!

This place is absolutely horrible. They seem nice as they are selling you the car but once I signed the papers for the financing, they pretty much fell off of the face of the earth. After I signed the papers, they said they would fax the information to my insurance company right away. That was Monday. I called my insurance and they didnt receive anything until Thursday morning and it took me 15 minutes to insure the car. I started calling and apparently everyone there is complete moron. All I was trying to do was get a status on my car. How hard is that?! Just save yourself a headache and go somewhere professional.

The customer service was great, the salespeople were friendly, and the price was good. This was my first car buying experience and I was very pleased. Everything went smoothly, and was done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

Extremely friendly staff, no pressure, and patient. Highly recommend to anyone looking to buy new or used high quality vehicles. Going through the paperwork was brief, and all questions were answered. I rate the dealership highly because I have only had one prior experience, and this one was much easier end not as confusing.

My husband and I decided to purchase the 2011 Jetta. We went to Balise and initally thought we had a great deal. We decided to get the vehicle from them and went down the next day to sign the papers. We decided to check out a competitor just for peace of mind. They can back with a better deal but we wanted to stay loyal to Balise. I went to go sign the papers around 5:00pm and by 8:00pm I had not signed anything. To be fair they said there were people ahead of us and we would have to wait, no problem. The problem was having them say ten more minutes and it being an hour. We finally go in to sign the papers, we give them a check for $7500 and have the insurance company send over a binder and then they said they needed some additional paperwork. Why didn't thay tell us during the 3 hour period that they needed something? At that point I was done. It took us 3 days to have someone finally return our call to get our check back. They have been telling us to call that it will be ready and this was back on the 11th of April. We were told to call on the 18th and see if it was ready. They said not until friday the 22nd. My husband just called them again and they said to call back on Monday. We still DO NOT have our money back for a car we never signed for. We ended up purchasing a car last friday from a competitor, at a lower interest rate, and had no problems at all. I would have buyers avoid giving any money until AFTER the papers are signed.

The overall experience was great. The service was very good . The people I worked with were friendly, informative and persuasive. Im very happy with the car and it's a beautiful fit. They made me feel very comfortable and did all they could. Balise was amazing!

Great dealership!!! This was my second experience with them and I would go back AND recommend my friends! The facility is bright and clean and the entire staff is warm and friendly. I truly feel like family. When I go back in for service I am recognized and greeted with a smile.

Volkswagens are infamous for their "quirks" and, unfortunately, mine has been extra quirky. While the purchase of my vehicle was seamless, I have spent a lot of time in the service department for various repairs--most self-inflicted (thank you, potholes!). You will not find such honesty and respect anywhere else. From the beginning, Cliff has been my go-to adviser. The first time I brought my car in with a problem, the repairs were quite extensive. Cliff called me almost daily with updates and to answer any questions I had. I was constantly calling him and I'm sure I was quite a pain, but I never sensed ANY sort of frustration. Cliff and the rest of the Balise crew treat you like family and when I was rear-ended, Cliff was the 2nd person I called (after the police, of course!) to see if they could do the repairs. I cannot thank Cliff enough for all of his hard work, honesty and patience. Even now that my car is out of its warranty, I continue to bring it to Balise for repairs and maintenance because I know my car will receive top-notch service and I will be treated with the utmost respect. Forget Scott and Speedcraft--if you want your VDub taken care of, take it to Balise!

I had been a customer for several years before the Dealership changed to Balise. I was a bit nervous with the changes that might come about with this changeover. The transition was smooth. I rely on the honesty and integrity I receive when working with Cliff in the service department. The excellent service I have provides me with the peace of mind I need in these tough economic times. As long as Cliff remains at Balise, I will be coming back.

I am never disappointed by my service from Balise. I bought my car from Balise and have been bringing it back for service ever since. I have always recieved the best customer service--they treat me like family and always make sure that my car is in top shape. Even at routine oil changes, they are checking for other problems and several times have brought up other issues that I wouldn't even have noticed. When I take my car to Balise I know that they are looking out for me and that my car is always going to be safe on the road.

I found a car I was interested in seeing on the internet and decide to go to Balise to take a look at it. When I got there I walked in and was greeted with a smile. Yaris (our salesman) was more than happy to answer all of my questions and I never felt pressured to buy something.He offered me a more than fair price for my trade in and had the car I wanted for what I wanted to pay. I bought a great used car that my wife and I are very happy with it.

I live in York, Me (over 125 miles from Balise). After two less-than-positive experiences with VW dealers in my area, I called Balise because they had the exact Jetta I was looking for (I found only four in all NE on cars.com). I called Chuck specifically because of a positive review about left on this site. It was a great move. Chuck does that extremely rare thing for car sales people - he listens. Chuck reacted quickly and didn't try to sell me on something I didn't want (what a refreshing rarity!!!). We negotiated a fair price for both new Jetta and trade in (2009 Jetta TDI w/ 90K+ miles). Now here's where the 5 star rated was solidified... after some paper work-type confusion (cause by me most likely) Chuck had the car delivered to Maine, papers were signed, bank check passed, trade in handed over... with no delay on our deliver date. This has been the best experience I've had purchasing a new car (I'm 52 and have purchase many cars over the years). I only wish they would open a VW dealership in Maine.

Although we needed a new car for my son, I was very reluctant to go through the process. Imagine my surprise when our experience was actually enjoyable. We were privileged to have Stacy Johnson as our salesperson. He was extremely patient as we checked out just about every Jetta on the lot. Stacy listened to what my son thought was important in a new car and didn't pressure him at all. Stacy was knowledgeable about all the models and helped us with our choice. Once we had decided on the right car, Stacy handled everything that needed to be done with ease. He worked with Justin so that the payment was in our range and we were able to drive the new car home that day. We also had a great experience working with Jeanne on all the paperwork. She is warm and funny and extremely clear and helpful with all the information and paperwork that is needed. I would recommend Balise to anyone needing a car because everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. There wasn't any pressure and I felt confident in all the information provided to us. This was a great experience with wonderful people. The next time a new car is needed, this is the place we will come.

I went in on Saturday with a great need to trade in my V6 Gas guzzler for a smaller and more economical car. I had the pleasure to deal with a gentleman named Stacy, I told him what I was looking for and how much I would feel comfortable paying he gave me what I needed on the car but the price was a little higher than what I wanted to pay so That's when Stacy introduced me to Chuck, which was a very friendly and patient man. Chuck worked his magic and I got the most amazing deal..I got a Cherry Apple Red 2011 VW Jetta it's a Great color,Great ride,Great on gas and most of all Great price..Then To close the deal I met the Business Manager named Jeanne with a great personality which also took the time to explain certain things I needed before driving out of the lot..Thanks to everyone there I felt comfortable and satisfied with my VW experience...And I look Fabulous in my New Car.LOL. My 2001 Passat was totaled - I was searching for another used VW but decided to stop by Balise and see what they had for deals. Gregg Florio was the sales rep who greeted us and he provided us with FANTASTIC service. He quoted me a price right off the bat that was so low that when I went home to check the car out on the internet, I saw he had priced it BELOW dealer invoice. I'm used to having to negotiate hard to get a fair price on a new car but I didn't even bother in this case becasue Gregg had already given me a SUPER deal on the first shot! Beyond a great price, Gregg was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, professional and an overall pleasure to deal with. I woud highly recommend you look up GREGG FLORIO at BALISE VW IN WEST WARWICK for the best in service, product knowledge and pricing! He even came in on his day off to meet with us to sign all the paperwork. He is GREAT!

I recently totaled my 2011 Jetta in December, the insurance company was dragging their feet, I contacted Chuck at Balise VW and explained my situation to him and needed to get into a replacement vehicle once everything was resolved. Chuck was very kind and professional. He appreciated my honest and no nonsense approach and gave me the same back. I told him what car, color and price I wanted and he worked out a great deal for me, put in me in touch with Nancy, a very nice saleswoman who was very diligent and followed up with me until I was able to take delivery of the new Jetta. They even held the car for me until things were settled with the insurance company, thats saying a lot, and they did so without any hassles to me. They were very straightforward and pleasant to work with. Chuck and his team really helped make a difficult situation more tolerable and got me back into a new car with ease. Mike was very thorough and knowledgeable in explaining all the paperwork. The premises are well kept and state of the art. Even though this is my 4th VW, Nancy helped me to go over some new features and worked with another colleague to set up my phone on blue tooth and set my stations on the radio, great teamwork! She knew I was pressed for time so she had the car ready for me when I arrived and got me on my way in no time! She then walked me over to the service department to make a 90 day follow up visit wow this is my second new vehicle in less than three months but it was the first time I had heard of this courtesy check up I made an appointment and was on my way! Thats what I call great service! I recommend their honest, professional and friendly staff. After I totaled my 2011 VW, I had to work on getting into another vehicle while struggling with the insurance company but Chuck was terrific and gave me a no nonsense deal, Nancy was helpful and accommodating, and Mike was very knowledgeable! Balise VW has a great staff, I am a happy customer and will be back! :)

I have used this dealership for many years everyone i have ever dealt with has been very Friendly and i always receive quick accurate service . This dealership has been a favorite of mine for years . The staff is always very helpful and I always feel like I am taken care of and given the best prices. As a female , we get nervous that we may be taken advantage of when we get our cars serviced but I have never been nervous dealing with this dealership . they always have my best interest at heart .

My first impression was how receptive the sales people were. They were very friendly and informative.The sales room was very clean and neat and inviting. This dealer is always so good at taking care of the problem in a timely manner. The service staff employees are the best. It is the only dealership that I will trust as they dont try to add things wrong just to make more money. They are always very honest.
