My experience with Basil was amazing. We were turned down by so many dealerships I can't count. When we went to Basil I was told that our credit is the reason nobody could help us (credit 490) but I found out that Basil is a family owned business with different locations owned by the 6 basil brothers. They sent me to Basil resale on Sharadin in Williamsville NY. I was told to meet with Ray , I went to meet with Ray and yes he is a sales man but he is honest and a nice guy who just wants to help people with their individual needs. So I explained my situation that husband is gone all day and I had no way to get my two young kids to school which was starting in one week. He listened and really cared. Then he introduced me to the owner John who is a genuine good person. They found me the perfect family car and gave me an amazing deal bassed off of my income on what I could afford. They never tried to over sell me and were never pushy at all. I feel like they are more concerned with their customers needs then a commission. I would recommend Basil resale or any of the other Basil dealerships to my friends and family in an instant . To add to that my husband is a Veteran and they have so much respect for our service members and do a lot of charity work for Vets and the general community. That in itself speaks volumes of the type of family they are.

Went to the lot to look around and compare, but none of the cars have prices listed. This makes it very difficult to determine which cars to look at, since price is a very important factor when selecting a car. I had heard good things about basil, but I was very disappointed to find out that it was impossible to walk around and easily determine which cars I should look at.

Easy to schedule an appointment. Took me at my scheduled time. Did the service requested and went thoroughly through my vehicle and made recommendations on what needs to be addressed. You did not pressure me to make the repairs immediately.

Teresa tried to fit me in to replace the wiper motor in our 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan on Thursday 1/14/16 at 2:00 pm. Service was very busy and they could not get to the van, so she gave me a loaner (Kia Rondo) to use until our Dodge Caravan was ready. The next day I picked up the van about 4:00 pm. It was covered under our extended warranty, and the van was washed and polished. The quality of the service department is now excellent and we are very happy.

I bought a 2014 Charger with 44000 miles with clean carfax and had it less than 2 months and 2000 miles and it has already a noticeable engine tick, idk how it made it through a 101 or inspection, no one returns my calls even when I stopped in person to discuss my concerns, I have left messages with the GM, manager, as well as the finance manager who said someone would call me 3 days ago.....still no call and left 2 more messages without a response at all to address my concerns. I had recieved a letter of inquiry from the DMV about a lapse in insurance on my trade the 8th of November a month after I bought the new car, although the plates were transferred off my trade and I was not the registered owner anymore of he cobalt I had to personally drive down to the DMV with my bill of sale from the purchase and trade in and show them my proof of insurance on the new vehicle that day (something dealerships are supposed to take care of) and act within 10 days or face a suspended registration and license. My family has bought from basil for 6yrs and I will not be buying again if his is not remedied, it's been a nightmare. I'm shocked as I expected this would be a smooth and pleasant experience but it seems the customer service is lacking, no one can return a call, empty promises, and on top of having a 100k powertrain factory warranty, a limited lifetime engine warranty, an extended 100k bumper to bumper warranty and a dealer limited warranty from being less than 3000 since I bought the car, still no calls and a knocking engine which will be looked at by a dodge dealership.

Our sales rep was a coma dating and pleasant to deal with. The sales manager was very helpful also. We were able to agree on on price for the vehicle without to much haggling. Over all it was a very good experience.

IHAVE BEEN BUYING MY CARS AT BASIL RESALE SHERIDAN FOR NEARLY 10 YEARS NOW ! THE STAFF THERE IS VERY FRIENDLY AND NOT AT ALL PUSHY AND THE SERVICE DEPT IS VERY FRIENDLY AND COURTIOUS AND KNOWLEDGEABLE THE CAN REPAIR YOUR CAR IN A CONVIENANT TIMELY FASHION.
