Ethan worked within our budget very easily and helped us find the best deal that he could. He was very open and honest about the deals and seemed to take our interests and preferences to heart. He also seemed to do everything he could to help us without being pushy, and without trying to push us into a vehicle with capabilities we didn't need, unlike what we've experienced at other dealerships. From our experiences with other dealerships, it's safe to say that Benna is the best one we've worked with so far.

Just want to give my praise and appreciation to Tiffany from Benna Ford. She is genuine and upheld her promise to get me in the truck of my dreams. I am young and this is my first solo car buying experience. Tiffany shared her knowledge and experience with me to ensure I did not steer myself in the wrong direction. Car salesmen typically get the shark-like and pushy reputation, but Tiffany was definitely not that. My first review was great, They send you out the door happy. It’s been 16 months and had nothing but problems with my purchase, brought it in several times and never resolve the issue. Part of the sales agreement was to put a new battery in it, within a year it already had to be replaced out of my pocket. I won’t be going back anymore

It was a good experience. Derek was very informative on the differences of the vehicles, the engines, and what we needed. He reviewed the carfax with us. He also checked on some fixes and was able to answer all our questions. We were pleased he noticed the headrests were missing in the back seat and found us replacements.

I located the vehicle I was looking for in-line and drove over two hours to look it over and test-drive it. Korey rode with me and helped negotiate the purchase price. The dealership is going to attempt to buff out the scratches on one side of the vehicle. RJ is excellent in doing all the paperwork. Kim responded quickly to my email inquiry. Korey will have a loaner car for me to use on Thursday as I return to dealership to have my vehicle under coated. This has been a pleasant buying experience.

After visiting several dealers in Duluth I thought we would head over to Superior and check out Benna Ford. We were greeted shortly after arriving by Jake Toman and he showed us around and looked at a few vehicles, and test drove the one we liked the best. Throughout the whole process there was absolutely no pressure, he was very upfront about prices and what they could do for us when asked but didn't try to force us into anything. Overall it was one of the best experiences you could hope for when shopping for a vehicle. We ended up signing the papers on a truck that night, which ended up going past closing time, but still no rush! We worked out a good deal with a trade in and the finance manager Roger was excellent! He went over every detail and made sure every penny in the contract was accounted for and nothing was hidden or over charged for. He made sure we new exactly what we getting and had a very sharp pencil on top of that! I can't say enough about this dealership, they know how to treat customers, before and after the sale. A couple things on our truck couldn't be taken care of until after we had taken delivery because of the weekend but it's scheduled to be done whenever we can bring it back. Jake said their philosophy is to make sure their customers are treated right the first time or else you won't get them back, I believe it because when our other car is ready to trade we will be heading back to Benna for another great experience!Thank you Jake, Roger and Benna!

When I first started looking around for a used car on their website I found a nice variety of vehicles on their lot. I filled out a credit app online as I live over 2 hours away from their location, and wanted to make sure everything lined up financially before I made the trip there. The first two cars that I looked at where not in the condition the pictures seemed them to be. Lots of scratches, dented doors, etc. (But honestly.. what more can you expect from used vehicles). I finally found a car that I wanted, it was a little out of my price range, but the sales and finance team worked really hard to get my payment manageable. The finance guy there even worked with us to get our payment lower by working with the bank. Which made a huge difference. I know it's his job to do that, but I've never had a finance guy come and say that if we put just a couple hundred dollars down he could get our interest rate lowered and that would drop our payment. Usually they just throw papers at me and say here is what it is. So it was nice to see he was actually working to get us the best rate he could. Our salesmen was very awesome with working to get us extra things for our ride that where not in our used car (Floor mats, full tank of gas, etc.) We arrived feeling discouraged and irritated, to leaving a very happy customer. They really do strive to get people the right deal. Even though we won't be int he market again for a long while for a new car, but when that time comes again, we will defiantly be back!

I walked in expecting the same looks & garbage I always get when I say I want a truck. Well little lady why don't I show you this stupid car over here or maybe this nice little whatever over here. But I didn't get that. Buck looked at me and said ok which type are you looking for and what year. I explained I was worried about getting new because of the cost and didn't think my credit would support a brand new truck. He explained that I would get the very best deal on my trade plus my rebates if I went new. So I went into my dream state and picked out the truck of my dreams. In less than five hours later I was driving my new truck home. Wow!

Looking for a new truck is not always easy, it is work and especially on a cold windy day. We wanted the best deal possible, we wanted to find just the right color and a truck to meet all our needs. I had been looking for an upgrade from my 2014 Escape to a 2016,but wasn't finding it at my usual dealer. So I went to Ford's site and I Built and priced exactly what my dream Ford Escape would be if I were to order one. Next I got an email from Big Valley Ford telling me to call them, which I did,but they didn't have exactly what I was looking for. I had just purchased the Sunday Duluth News Tribune. I looked at the Auto dealer ads. Since I was making a trip to Duluth, I thought I would send an inquiry to Benna Ford. They replied with several vehicles they thought I might be interested in. Unknown to me, their new Floor Manager was someone I trusted and had bought Ford vehicles from for almost 40 years. This was Todd Darwin. He was in the showroom when I arrived, this is the first time he ever commented how dirty my car was. I laughed and said yes they are giving away for free all of the road salt because of the nasty weather. He introduced me to Buck and I told them what I wanted from my wish list. He showed me one of the new electric spice colored escapes. But it was only an s and I wanted at least an SE. We noticed another one about 25 ' away. Upon inspection we found it was an exact match to my dream list. The only exception is it had 19" tires instead of 17" that I priced out. It was just about the same price. We made the deal and it was the best car buying experience for me in a long while. While everyone contributed to a great buying experience if I had to pick the best reason for making the sale,that would be Todd Darwin, because he knows me well and has always delivered. One thing that sets him above a lot of the sales people is that he shares my sales goals from my years of sales experience. Like myself. He finds out exactly what the customer wants and delivers it, and no BS.

This is one of the worst car dealerships I have ever been to out of all the dealerships there are here in the Twin Ports. The first time I was at this dealership my significant other was looking for a car for himself. This was the start of all the problems because we both wanted to be on the title of the car he bought; I was told that because at the time I didnt have credit that they werent going to put me on the loan or the title of the car because it would have raised the monthly payment too much for supposedly both of us to pay. I was told that I could leave and that I wasnt needed (it was implicated that they just didnt want me there from the beginning) for reasons that to this day are unknown to me. My best guess is that it was because I knew more than the salesman thought I did and I was trying to argue the price with him and he like most all other salesmen just wanted to screw my significant other over, and overcharge him for his car.Now that we have bought one car from Benna Ford we (even after being treated kind of poorly the first time) went back to try to find a car for me. We had thought that maybe we would get treated better since we bought a car from them before. It just so happens that we were way wrong and we were treated even worse this time around. When the salesman we were working with found a vehicle that he thought I would have liked both of us went over there to look at it. We told him that before we made any deals we wanted to see a CARFAX, take it for a test drive, and bring it to our personal mechanic.. Instead of listening to what we had to say he started trying to get us approved for a loan, even after he was told what we wanted, and what our plan was. This just goes to show that he was being ignorant to what we wanted.After we got back from out test drive the salesman started flipping out on us on the sales floor with multiple other people around listening to what he was saying. There were other customers, salesmen, and other Benna Ford staff present on the sales floor when he was doing this. All of which were within earshot of what he was saying, and most if they were to turn around could see how he was acting. He got even more mad when I told him that my dad wouldnt be able to make it into the dealership that night because it was past dinner time at my house and he was more than likely getting ready for bed or sleeping in the living room. So I wasnt going to call him and risk waking him up and having him come to the dealership angry.The salesman also blamed me when I didnt buy this car from him because he was too stupid to save his check for his rent. He didnt tell me this he told my significant other when he went to talk to him about what was going on that day, because I had to work before we could test drive the vehicle. I was told this while I was on my lunch by my significant other and that was the straw that broke the camels back. This is the one comment that sealed the deal that I wasnt going to end up buying this vehicle. I dont feel I need to take the blame for not buying a car just based on the fact that I didnt feel I needed to give this dealership my patronage; from being treated so poorly. He had also blamed us that we hadnt gotten to see the CARFAX until the day we test drove the vehicle, when we told him at least three times that we had wanted to look at the CARFAX before making a decision.When it was brought to his attention that I wasnt happy with his customer service he flipped out (wouldnt let me speak) and had said that he had provided great customer service. From all the things I went through I dont see where his comment makes any sense. My perspective of great customer service is 1. When you have a customer walk into your store/dealership the first thing you do is smile at them and greet them 2. You ask them what they are looking for 3. You help them find the product 4. You sell the product (give a sales pitch) 5. You follow through with that customer, make sure that they are happy with the product that purchased. I got treated the exact opposite of how most people as customers think they should be treated while they are shopping.What I had tried to ask this salesman was how he figured he had given us great customer service when he hadnt talked to his potential buyer throughout the whole deal unless I was actually at the dealership; and he had no choice but to talk to me. I also was trying to get him to realize that even though he thought that just by putting an extra protection plan on this deal was going to make me feel better about getting the car that night I knew that the protection plan he was trying to put on this vehicle was just going to be an absolute joke. Reason being is that their service department either hired guys that truly dont know what they are doing or they are all just good at lying and saying that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle when there really is something wrong.

After caring for an ill family member for a week, I was ready to travel 3 hours to my home south of Superior when my gently used, well maintained older car decided to have a flashing engine light! I called my local dealer and they advised I take the vehicle into the nearest Ford dealership to have it repaired. I called Benna Ford Service and explained that I was from out of town, had an blinking engine light emergency situation and that I needed to leave town. I was told that I needed an appointment to have my car looked at and the soonest he could get me in would be 3 or 4 days!I explained that I was from out of town and needed to return. I didn't have 3 or 4 days to hang around for an appointment. His response was that I could drop off the car but he didn't think he could do anything about it for 3 or 4 days. I asked if they could at least hook up the car to the diagnostic computer so I could see what I was dealing with and they said I needed an appointment to do that. I asked him what they do when they have emergencies brought in and he said that usually the person just drops off the car and they get to it in three or four days. My hometown dealership would never ever think of turning away a person in need, let alone turning away a potential customer. Evidently these guys don't care if you are a potential customer or if they have repeat business.I have always bought Ford / Mercury products and I have always had excellent customer service when I go to Ford Dealerships. I was totally unprepared to be brushed off when I was in need of emergency service. I eventually found a small repair shop who diagnosed and repaired my vehicle immediately. I was able to leave town less than 3 hours later than I had planned.So unless you can plan to have our car break down in advance so you know you can schedule your service 3 or 4 days out, don't bother calling this dealership. They won't be able to help you :(

Old school pricing scam dealership. My sales guy was fine, but the pricing is a joke. Make sure you research it! I was looking at raptors, 50k plus purchase. They had a used one with 3000 miles. The were asking $2000 over New, zero miles, MSRP. I asked them best price, the sales manager dropped it to MSRP of a new one. I told them, I could pay that for a new one at any dealer. Walked out laughing at how they could be in business. Bought a brand new raptor at Apple Valley Ford 2 days later. I recommend driving 150 miles to go see them, completely different experience!

i bought a 2008 dodge advenger in the summer not thinking about the heat so I found out when my warranty was up and try calling benna ford asking if we could work something out but didn't pretty much said to bad its in ur hands nowso then I took it back to them and traded that piece of crap in and got a 2010 ford escape and low and behold after my warranty was up the a/c went out and call benna and said I just bought this 6 months ago can u guy work with me and I got a voicemail no call back or nothingwould never recommend going there

I have been searching for a new car for about a year and became very excited to try out a new Fiesta 2013. When I arrived at Benna I found there was only one hatchback model available, while they were advertising they had more that were roughly $2,000 cheaper, and the car interior was dismantled. Headrests were off, seats here folded randomly and paper was crumpled up inside. Joe insisted we take it for a drive, so I decided to at least get a feel for it and see if it was the car for me. So after reassembling the car and having the worst test drive of my life, we finally returned to Benna. I asked him what price he would be willing to sell the car for, given the state it was in and the fact that it already had 100 miles on it. This was when his true colors finally appeared. He pushed hard to pull my credit, kept ASSURING me that the pull would do nothing to my credit score, which is complete BS. I told him I didn't want to talk about financing, trade in or anything like that, all I wanted to hear was the price they were willing to sell the car to me for. He refused to budge, so I asked him to give me the paper he had drawn a sales grid on and he refused to hand it to me. I then asked for a copy, and he tossed a pad of paper and a pen at me telling me to write it myself. Luckily the jerk got up to ask his manager and, "See what he could do for the price." So I grabbed the grid and walked out. He then followed and, passive aggressively asked, "Are you mad at me?" Ladies, I didn't listen to my mother when she warned me about this men's club, but please be warned. This is a place that sees a woman and considers them a lesser being, someone to prey upon. I will never recommend this dealership or even consider the purchase of a Ford in this area because of these jerks.

Very friendly at first, was told a car was in my price range so I took it for a test drive. Came back to find out that it was about 5 grand more then I wanted to spend. Salesmen got real nasty and pushy after I told him it was too much. Accused me of purposely wasting his time and kept asking why I would not buy, even though I told him it was too expensive. Would never buy because of the rude treatment I deserved.

Worst car buying experience EVER!!! The saleman was extremely pushy, the car we ended up purchasing was marked at almost twice the kelly bluebook value (shame on us for not researching more), but if that is the way Benna conducts themselves...then shame on them. We tried to refinance and were told that since we are many thousands of dollars underwater, we are unable to at this time. Save yourselves the money and the hassle and PLEASE shop elsewhere.

I would definately recommend... We have made 3 purchases from them in last 6 years. Always easy and straight forward. Our recent transaction was there were options we wanted in an SUV but they didn' have one on the lot. There was one being sold by another dealer in town and they got it for us for cheaper than what the other dealer was asking. They have gone above and beyond this time as well as the other two!

We saw an F250 Ford in the tv ad as the camera scanned the lot. Online they had no price, had to search. There original price was WAY above book, but we called and they negotiated the price on the phone so we didn't have to waste a trip down, EXCELLENT. They were great at negotating to a fair/good price. Some of the info on Carfax.... Cloquet Motor Vehicle had the truck.. they said they didn't know why or what department this was that had the truck for six months... we asked a friend at a dealership, and he said that is easy, it was taken from someone for illegal activities then auctioned to them. Could they not have known this or chose to leave us to wonder? Hard to say... staff were SUPER nice and friendly.. very helpful not overly pushy.. Didn't appreciate the tone on a call back because we lied and "didn't state there was a lien on the vehicle when asked." They never asked, and we stated they couldn't cash the check until Monday because of financing with the bank.. figured they knew there was a lien, but it was a busy, busy sale... guess they missed that, after all why would we lie? No reason to, and didn't appreciate the accusation. They demanded we drive back ASAP, when we said we couldn't they said they would overnight the paperwork... never got the paperwork... so I called to check and they said they got it taken care of... they should have let us know that... would have been nice. While there staff were nice helpful and negotiated... I felt we were treated well and fair... the after issue, not so nice... they sounded stressed and did hav ea lot going on, but still...

We were looking for a new or used Ford 150, my fiance went in and he was told that they would do a search for him and call him. I called 2 weeks later still looking for a truck again told they would call. Well after almost 2 months still have not received a call back. I called and left a message saying that we have found a truck and after many years driving a Ford, we switched to Chevy. That is poor business not to return phone calls.

Benna was having a six day sales event. Looking for used Ford Focus. Sales group showed us a Ford Escape that was in good shape for a "fair" price. Sale price was $8000 more than book value. I questioned them on the cars book value and was told that the previous owner still owed over $26,000 on the vehicle. Sales team was not honest about car value. Said car was detailed and it was not. Sales Team promised a variety of items with the sale and we received about half of them. Still paid over $2000 more than book value. Car was "redetailed" and all they did was vaccum the flat surfaces and the car is still full of dog hair. Worst car buying experience I have ever had. I have "never" been told so many untruthfull stories by any sales group.I wonder how this group sleeps at night!!!!

I got $3500 offer in mail 'CASH FOR CLUNKERS '. I called dealer, talked to KIM LOWNEY about a 2010 fusion. I was told financing was approved with APPARENTLY ZERO DOWN. Next morning I drove to dealership ( 160 mi ). As I arrived was 'handed over' to SALESMAN 'BOB'. Sat down to complete transaction and was ready to drive home in my used 'new car'. SALESMAN 'BOB' pulls out piece of paper and starts writing down payment number on the paper. It was $3000 to $4000 down payment required. So much for the 'ZERO DOWN' BS. This dealer ship hides ALL PRICES. So, I just got up and started to walk out as fast as I could. I did not even get a ' I'm sorry folks that you had to drive 160mi FOR NOTHING! I would tell anyone looking for a car to STAY AWAY FROM BENNA FORD IN SUPERIOR,WI. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAMMING DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have bought twice from dealer. One used and one new. always was happy with purchase. This time the radio add said all used vehicles were 88 down 88 per month. When I got there I found out it was a farse. My sales rep told me it was only until the end of 2010 and then you need regular financing. You should say that on the commercial because it is very deceitful. All my friends at work and family knew I was going to check into the car and I had to tell them all that the add was misleading. That was not good for your company or for me. My trust in your dealership has taken a big hit. I dont know if I will buy from you again even though I really like the salesperson that helped me with my last purchase.
