I wanted to surprise my wife for our 25th anniversary with a Range Rover Sport, something she had admired for a while. Given the price point of a Range Rover, I could only surmise the "dealer experience" that I was in for - aggressiveness, incessant phone calls and emails, and "you'll want to take advantage of this opportunity this moment" pitches. Well, had I only known what it was like to work with Bennett Jaguar Land Rover in Allentown previous to this special occasion, I may have surprised my wife on our 20th anniversary. Justin Goldman could not have been more thoughtful in his exploring exactly what I wanted/needed, more transparent with the vehicle and financing options, and ultimately advocating on my (our) behalf to get the most for our money...and by the way, all of this took place in less than a few hours. I might also add that I drove an hour and half to get to the dealership. After exploring other options, it was clear that Bennett (and Justin) were going to offer me an unparalleled experience, making the additional drive time well worth it! Bennett clearly places a priority on their hiring of team members - from our work with Justin, to our departure rep, Chris Rice, walking me through the endless vehicle functions and features, to Sarah Baker's professional yet congenial welcoming to the dealership, Robert Bennett clearly takes the "People" element of his dealership very seriously! My experience with Bennett Jaguar Land Rover was, dare I say, so enjoyable, that I'm thinking about a "birthday present" to myself in the near future...

I went to purchase a used 2013 Range Rover Evoque which was beautiful.. but didn't have the panoramic roof I wanted..ended up getting a beautiful new 2016 Range Rover Evoque..loving it. This is my 2nd car purchase from here 13 years ago I purchased my Jaguar Xtype .. which is still looking beautiful and running strong.. took my mother there to get her Land Rover Discovery.. so I guess I'm a loyal customer.

To start off with, I traveled a distance to reach this dealership, despite the fact that there was another dealership much closer to my home. I am glad I did. I came away from my experience with the team very satisfied. Shane was great to work with and despite the fact that he was new to the dealership, he was knowledgeable and professional. The vehicle was exactly as it was described and Shane did go the extra mile to make sure that I was comfortable with my decision to purchase. Drove 45 minutes to this dealership to not receive any customer service. Waited 20 minutes, another customer who was leaving told a salesperson that we looked like we needed help. This salesperson was standing in the showroom the entire time we were there. We finally get told someone will be with us. Another 15 - 20 minutes goes by. Wasn't until we decided to walk out did someone try to ask us what we wanted. Meanwhile another couple came in after us and was helped right away. Horrible customer service. Made our decision easy - BMW X6 here we come

Not finding the specific new 2016 Range Rover Sport with red interior we had been searching for, we located it on the Allentown Land Rover website. We decided to take the drive from north Jersey to check the dealership out. We were greeted promptly and hooked up with a great salesman, Brian Hamedyl. Brain went over the car with us and took us for a test drive. From the first few minutes with Brian we felt comfortable. He was easy to communicate with and very friendly leaving us feeling like we had known him for years. Without any pressure or difficulties we made a fair deal with Brian and the General Manager, Alex Morra who was a gentlemen and finished up the paperwork with Justin Goldman who was fast and professional. They had their onsite detailer buff the Rover up for us and we were on our way! This was the best car buying experience we've ever had. I can't thank their team enough!! LOVE this new car!!!

Drove up from Delaware to purchase a used car for my teenage son.Made a few calls inquiring about a vehicle they had on the lot and happened to get John Varghese on the phone he did some visual inspection of the car for me and was able to negotiate a deal on price before we even saw the car. Traded in my car for a XF. Within 18 hours of buying the car, I had the engine light ON and the Wheel shaking like crazy. Reported the issues(As I got it under Dealer Warranty) and they said they could not fix the issue(as its too expensive to fix it) and they offered me an upgrade for extra money. Declined the offer and they promised to me to return my trade in car. While i was waiting for my car to be returned, the general Manager(Alex Mora) calls yelling saying..we will fix the car for you.. ofcourse something was fishy... which i came to know only after speaking with the owner Rob Benntte himself that they would be fixing the car using USED parts... I pleaded that they return my old car to me as promised and Mr Bennette says... My Sales guy John will lose his bonus if I do so.. seriously.. you are bothered about sales guys bonus but not my families life? specially my pregnant wife and 1 year kid... ?? I stuck to my decision on returning my old car back but the General manager would not listen. .Then he says that he would compalint to the cops that i stole their loaner car.. what?? I have a document from you which shows that you gave me that car... To avoid all this head ache.. i asked them to fix the car.. this was my mistake.. After 20 days, they return the car without fixing the issue and when i declined to accept the delivery because the issue still persisted, the driver decides to leave my car and take the keys with him.. What kind of people do this?.. I spoke to the service manager and said the issue still existed and he asks me to drive the car for 2 weeks which will autofix the issue.. What?? Seriously?? You want me to put myself and my pregnant wife into an unsafe car and drive it for 2 weeks?... And now they dont even answer my calls... Jaguar Dealers ?? Be ashamed of yourselves.. Wow!! icing on the cake. Rob Bennette calls and yells on the phone saying we will not provide any further service...slams... Although I have legal document showcasing I have valid warranty from them till May23rd 2016, they dont want to repair the car(already repaired with second hand parts). Time to go Legal. For those who want to get more detailed insights.. the Audio and video recordings will be on the youtube site soon. So, Beware of this dealer and buy from them only if you want to get headaches and spend time around courts.

Excellent buying experience. Once we were settled on which vehicle to purchase, the folks here made the experience smooth. Brynne did the legwork with us over the phone. John made it a seamless experience with the vehicle demo, sale and delivery.Unlike other dealerships, the finance handling and deal close was excellent. I don't remember the name of the gentleman who handled my deal in financing but he was excellent.

I found a vehicle on Edmunds.com that I wanted at this dealership. On March 22 2016 I inquired via email as to its availability. On March 23 I talked to the internet sales rep and confirmed that it was available. I scheduled an appointment for 9:00 am on March 24, got up at 6:00 am and drove the fifty miles to the dealership with money in hand only to be told that the car was sold. This is the kind of garbage that I might expect from a typical used car dealer, but not one that purports to be "one of the finest." The very least they could have done was to let me know and save me the trip. The salesman I met could have been a little more apologetic, I just got the feeling he couldn't care less about what had happened.,

After building an LR4 online and shopping the price I found that Bennett delivered with a no haggle price that beat 4 other dealerships. Although they were not able to locate the exact car I wanted they were able to negotiate a deal with another dealership that had an adjustable order in place. Taking a little longer than expected to build and ship my LR4, Bennett kept me in the loop. I couldn't be happier with the vehicle. John Varghese, Alex Morra and Justin Goldman worked very well with one another throughout the process. Walking into the dealership and seeing the car in the delivery suite was the icing on the cake.John Varghese took the time to go over the vehicle with me and make sure I was comfortable with all the features before pulling off the lot. I was in the market for a used Ram truck with specific features. I was shopping on Cargurus.com and found 3 that fit my criteria with in a 400mile distance from my house. The lease on my 2013 Range Rover Evoque was coming due in April but in December I started getting itchy for a new Range Rover Sport. Having a very particular and narrow spec sheet I fully expected to wait the 6-8 weeks for one to be built to suit those specs, but after a few conversations with Justin Goldman I had two spec sheets in my email that were great candidates within days instead of weeks. One was 99% of what I had spec'ed out and the rest is history. Within about 2 weeks of conveying my interest to Justin I found myself at the dealership trading up for a Cleveland sourced Sport which has made me smile every time I look at it in my garage. It's my third purchase or lease with Bennett and I recommend the dealership wholeheartedly.

My family and I were visiting from Ohio.We were on a football recruiting visit to Kutztown which is what lead us to Allentown.When we got to the halfway point of our trip we noticed the night before that the self closing latch on our 2013 XJ was acting up.We called Bennett the next morning as they were going to be the nearest dealer to us and they said bring it right over.When we arrived we were greeted by the service dept which was fantastic .They were willing to help and adjust the lever at no charge.As we waited ,my wife ,son and I toured their showroom.My wife fell in love with a new XJL which was in the showroom.John Varghese (sls person) walked up and greeted us and asked me if I wanted to drive the car home.I made a joke and said 'if you want to swap cars sure"Long story short we drove out of there in that new XJL.John was very helpful and what was first a joke became a reality.Happy wife,Happy life! I have never dealt with a dealership like this. I am from Philadelphia so I called multiple dealerships in the area, including this one in allentown. I asked every dealer to give me the best price with NO gimmicks. John kept to his word, gave me the best price and stuck to it. He even shared his cell phone number and communicated with me throughout the day, sending me pics of the car and other things I wanted to see. I am very busy so getting a car without a hassle is very important to me. I called John when I got off work, made it to the dealership 10 minutes before it closed, and was out the door within 45 minutes. 10 minutes of that time was spent in talking to my insurance to add the vehicle on. Finance department was excellent and didnt play any games. Would recommend to everyone and will come back for my next cars!

Overall positive experience dealing with Bennett Jaguar Landrover. Ordered a 2016 Range Rover through Bennett because majority of onsite Range Rovers were priced with options at over 100K. Took 4 months for vehicle to arrive. Unfortunately, it came with two options costing about 3K, which I did not order, but aside from that, the Range Rover was exactly what I wanted. John Varghese and Justin Goldman were both very knowlegeable and professional. Neither tried to upsell me additional options or features. Their appraiser gave me a fair price, close to the KBB wholesale trade in. Bought car at MSRP. Other dealers either wanted a premium over MSRP or low balled the trade in.

Tried to call them several times, also left messages, never returns their phone call. Sales person Sabrina gave her cell phone to me, but still never picks up her phone or even bother returning the call, forwards me to their manager Chris?...never picks up or responds to the voicemail I leave. Today, I decided to call again to their sales department to inquire about the car I wanted to buy, the sales person name John sounded like he hated his job, or just woke up from a nap, asked him if the vehicle is still available, he just said it was sent to the auction, I then asked him again if it is sold, he said he doesn't know, wanted him to help me find out more information in regards of the vehicle, he didn't even bother said "hold on" or "one moment please", just transfers the call to his manager Chris that seems to never goes to work, I hung up, called several times after, he sees my caller id, just transfers me to his voicemail. Even that I wanted to buy their vehicle with their asking price in full of $127,500, they still seem like they will only sell a car if they are in a good mood, love their job, or finished taking a nap, so I suggest you all to never deal with this dealer, don't bother wasting your time.

Friends had told us not to bother with Bennett Land Rover and to go straight to Edison, NJ where they know how to'deal'. We took their advice and we were so disappointed when the white LR4 the salesman located out of state was suddenly not available after the sales transaction had been done. The sales guy was not completely honest with us and wasted a week of our time trying to locate another one before telling us the one we thought we bought had already been sold! Utterly disgusted we went back to Bennett and John (with much assistance from Sabrina) really hustled to find us another white LR4 with black interior (apparently difficult to locate). When it looked like that trade with an out of state dealership might fall through John really worked hard to make it happen. He definitely went above and beyond what most salesmen would have done to make sure we got the white LR4 we wanted in the time frame we gave him.

I am a retired new york new car dealer 42 years in auto business. i bought a used porsche 911 delivered to me in nyc via their flatbed sev. ( i paid for flatbed to nyc) promised by G.S.M.. Alex Morra car was "perfect" that even his wife was driving.car delivered via flatbed with bulbs out ,rear view mirror knock off ( left on seat) and only -1- key ,(told they had -2- keys when bought it) but forgot to put in car when delivered. flatbed driver ALVIN said " i did not do this i picked it up like that" i called alex morra cell and he did not pick up. i took car seeing it was paid in full and my check cleared. alex morra called me back and said "my detail man admitted he broke it and i will pay for it" and i am sorry and will overnight you the 2nd key. now we can't use the car it is unsafe with no rear view mirror and bulbs out . so i drove to manhattan motor cars the closest porsche dealer to find out rear view mirror CANNOT BE GLUED BACK ON, need new windshield and new mirror, and when my 2nd key came from bennett maserati soft parts dept envelope ripped and key missing, finding out from porsche that to make a second key, car has to be reprogramed. appox $550.00.alex morra said "you signed for it I'm not paying" in 42 years being on the selling side of a new car dealer i never acted or treated a customer like this. O yes he said ill pick up car and try to glue first. then ill put in new windshield if need be" porsche said they do not re-glue because it can fall off,and seeing my wife and daughter would be driven i wanted it done properly. i refused to have car tied up another 2 weeks. so i am DOING WORK HERE AT MANHATTAN MOTORCARS and filing a lawsuit. stay away from this dealer take it from a retired new car dealer this manager Alex Morra should not be selling bicycles, never mind exotic cars. this is all a safety issue, that they should know as a dealer. this is not an ethical way of doing business.i called the maserati headquarters in new jersey customer service and told them that "i also own a new masareti now at my second home " and they said i have to take it up with "the dealer and theres nothing they can do" so i am reaching out to Harald j. Wester C.E.O. maserati in england. stay away from this dealer!

Very professional staff. At this level of purchase, we expected knowledgeable sales staff and courteous interaction, and were not disappointed with either. We were not familiar with the different trim levels and options available for the Land Rover brand. Mike Fegley took all the time we asked to not only explain our options, but to find and drive examples of most of the vehicles we were considering, from full size to Sport, V6 and V8, HSE to Autobiography, new and used, and to walk through all the additional options available if we decided to purchase new. We are certain we did not drive every vehicle on the lot, but we did look at and drive almost every different trim level available to have that experience before making a decision. There was no lack of enthusiasm or willingness to assist us in our process. Justin Goldman completed the process as we considered lease and purchase options, and surpassed our expectations at the conclusion of our deal.While we do not have long term experience with the brand or dealership, we most certainly have been provided an excellent beginning. At the time of delivery of our new Sport, Justin had all of the paperwork prepared for our review and signature, and made adjustments immediately as we selected or waived warranty options. Mike provided a very thorough review of the vehicle settings and function. The vehicle was clean and all was in order and prepared for our arrival.

I expected a lot in coming in to buy my new Land Rover. After all, it is a significant purchase and given where I live, I have to drive 2 hours to the nearest dealer. Even with my high expectations, John Varghese managed to exceed them. He was extremely knowledgable about the vehicles and took the time to understand my interests. Once I had selected a vehicle and we agreed on a deal, he made sure my new vehicle was absolutely perfect for delivery. Hello I'm Yuriy, I ordered a Range Rover HSE LR-V6 SUPERCHARGED (Standard Wheelbase) on July 19th, 2014. It took 6 months for this car to be ready. I got a call from the sales person on January 23, 2015 saying the car is ready to picked up. The sales person even sent us pictures of the whole car. So when I got the ok call to pick the car up, I said can I pick it up on the January 24, 2015 around 10:00am because I wasn't planning get a new car on a snow day and something happing to it when I drive it home. The sales person said that's fine to get the car then, so on January 24, 2015 around 9:30am the calls me and says sorry we can't sell you the car because your income is to low. I don't understand why didn't the sales person tell me this on January 23, 2015 when the car arrived but the dealership waits till the day we both agree when I would come and get the car, they had me wait 6 months for this car and tell me this 2 days after it comes in. Why couldn't they tell me during those 6 months or when the car arrived? Then just saying ok that's fine if you come then at 10:00am pick it up. So after all this they say we can't sell you this car but we can give you the same exact one but with a V8 engine for $10,000-$15,000 more, but if you want a V6 engine then we have to get you a used one. Now 12 days later I still didn't get my refund for the deposit.

Mike was great, I would recommend him to any one. however, I can't make that recommendation, recommend the dealership or discuss the buying experience without also mentioning Justin, who was terrible. Misleading, insulting, and way too "high-pressure sales pitch" with the extras, like roadside coverage and maintenance package. I already mentioned this all to Mike when he called me the day after the purchase. I do not wish to be contacted to discuss it further. One example: Belittled me for actually reading the contract before signing. I'm a commercial attorney, I'm paid to read contracts. I honestly would have laid into him but bit my tongue because I wasn't going to let his xxxxxxx behavior ruin my buying experience.If the dealership caused this behavior based on incentives, training or otherwise, shame on the dealership.

John was very friendly and patient considering I wasn't sure what type of Jaguar was of most interest (XK, F-type, or XJ). He allowed multiple test drives and went to my hosue to verify that a potential XJ LWB of interest would fit in my garage. My 2010 Jaguar trade-in price was not as high as I wanted and the used car purchase price almost had no further discount so the difference owed was a little higher than I wanted. BTW - this is my fourth Jaguar R series bought from Bennett.Two suggestions:1) Allow an extended test drive, e.g. the customer taking the car home overnight. Most other competing high-end auto dealers allow this. It is hard to make a major purchase decision based on a 15min drive. Also, it gives time for the rest of the family to check out the prospective vehicle.2) Provide some kind of snack in the lounge for those who get maintenance in the morning or late afternoon.

Mike was very helpful and went above and beyond to get us into our 2 new Range Rover Sport Supercharged. Buying this car from Mike was one of the easiest, most enjoyable transactions. Mike stepped back and allowed us to do our own thing without trying to force any car on us. Had a Great experience window shopping while I was having my land Rover Evoque serviced. Originally Justin was talking with us about all the new Jaguars in the showroom. We - Barb and I ; took a coffee break then came back to the show room and browsed some more.The Autobiography caught my eye and I asked to talk to Justin. At that point Mike came over to us, He explained lots of details about the vehicle to us. I asked about Justin and learned that he left for the afternoon and was more involved with the Jaguar line. Mike was extremely respectful and pleasant with Barbara and myself. We all enjoyed the afternoon and I enjoyed the test ride. It was a bit of a jump for me financially to get to this model but I was interested so I told Mike I would make a decision after 24 hours. ---- Spending 100,000.00 is something I wanted to sleep on, somehow he understood. Time - effort - attitude - Mike put his best foot forward and I hope to do business again with him. Thank You, Anton

My latest car buying experience started with an internet (e-mail) inquiry and a timely and informative response by Deborah (one of Bennett's internet specialist). Nice! Next came my visit to the showroom/car lot (scheduled the night before by Deborah). Upon entering the showroom, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist and the general manager (Alex). Within 5 minutes of my arrival my internet find (Audi 5) was "up front" and running. At this time, I was introduced to Mike, my salesman, who made me feel welcomed from the start. After finishing my complimentary cup of coffee, Mike and I took the car for a ride. I'm happy to report that it rode as good as it looked! At this point in time, I was feeling very excited about entering the "negotiations" phase of the deal. Mike was very receptive and respectful of my thoughts regarding the trade in value of my car and the true market value of his. This was greatly appreciated and in the end a compromise was reached with very little haggling. It should also be noted that Mikes good customer service skills became even more apparent AFTER THE DEAL with the purchase of a missing car manual. Mike offered to have the missing manual sent to my residence free of charge ---- and at his expense. Again, very much appreciated. Customer satisfaction was obviously a priority for Bennett and its employees from start to finish. Thank you Deborah, Mike and Alex for making my day! Ill be back for more!

I recently bought a vehicle from one of your certified dealerships, Bennett Jaguar/Land Rover. I bought a pre-owned 2008 Mercedes E350. I asked the representative for the carfax, and also asked him during the appraisal process if there has been any accidents for damages to the vehicle. He of course said not and proceeded. Later on that month, my friend ran an insurance report on the vehicle and noticed there has been substantial body damages to the vehicle never told to me. I went back to the dealer hoping they would adjust the price (because they sold it to me without the damages depreciation calculated) and they did nothing.I would think a dealership selling a product of this magnitude would service their customers a bit better, especially since Mr. Bennett, the owner has two Ferraris and a Lamborghini. He has to be the most stubborn man in the planet. He even told his drivers that they should not get paid because they are privileged to drive expensive vehicles, what a joke!
