I purchased a 2015 Ford Excursion from Berge Ford. I am an existing customer. I was told the vehicle was acquired as a trade in and later learned it was part of a rental fleet for Alamo Rental Cars. This concerns me and I would have have purchased because it is a large 4WD SUV. Many people rent 4WD and drive them hard because they aren't their personal vehicle. Secondly, there were marks on the mirror which i was told would wash off - they turned out to be scratches and the entire mirror assembly piece needs replaced. Finally, there was a dent by the left back up sensor on the rear of the vehicle. Sales Manager Dave Kohler asked me to send a photo of dent, and I did immediately. He indicated he would take care of it and addressed my concerns regarding the car being part of a retail rental fleet. I expressed my reservations and desire to "undo" the deal. I feel like he told me what I wanted to hear and talked me into keeping the vehicle despite its history. I was comforted that he was going to resolve the dent issue, as well. He asked me to bring the car out for him to see in person. He said to stop by anytime and either himself or Sales Manager Greg Ginsberg would look at it and decide which of three body shops to send it to. My schedule finally freed up and I make an appointment with the dealership. I indicated on the online request form to have my oil changed, repair to key fob and meet with Sales Manager who wanted to view vehicle. I was on property for over two hours. I texted and telephoned both sales managers. I approached the reception desk and was told twice that Greg would be right with me. I had to pick up my son and his friends so I had to leave. I was later told that they were both too busy to see me because they were working on 4 deals. They asked me to make another appointment and come down. Their actions seem to say that my time is not as valuable as theirs and a potential customer is more important than a repeat customer.

I brought my car in for service and when it was finished I inspected it myself before I left. The mechanics had missed a couple items. I told my service advisor Joey about it and instead of him saying bring it back or I'll deal with this later or having a bad attitude instead what he did for me was he disappeared and went and grabbed some tools came back fixed the two issues himself and I was on my way :-)

My truck engine was over heating due to a fan clutch issue so I took it in and when the mechanic was working on it the radiator blow. So I had the radiator replaced and no one even mentioned that I should also replace the hoses. Less than a month later the radiator hose blow out when I was driving on a highway causing me to pull over and have the truck towed in. I still had to pay for the parts of the hoses because they wouldnt take responsibility for not stating that they should be changed when the radiator blow. Then when I picked it up the idle was very rough. There was nothing wrong with the idle before this happened. They stated that it was because of the mileage on the engine instead of taking responsibility that their mechanic screwed up and did not even look at the hoses for the radiator or suggesting that they should be replaced since the radiator blow. Since the idle was not even running anywhere to idling rough I know it was caused because of the radiator problems. Now they want to charge me $72 an hour to continue looking at the problem. Do not go here for any kind of service since they will take advantage of you and state that it is your problem and not theirs. I give them a 0 on service.

We had a part missing from our new automobile ,and did not realize it until 4 weeks after we purchased the car, with an email to the General Manager, on a holiday, that same evening we received an email back from Mr. Crutchner the same day advising us he would look into this concern. The next day he contacted us with another email advising us to take the car to the body shop and they would evaluate. Needless to say, he gave me the name of the lady to see, she was waiting for me, the gentleman that had the part was there and placed the item on the car within minutes. I cannot tell anyone how impressed I was with the service and concern they had to make us happy. I would buy another car from this dealer in a "heart beat".

37 days! Drop your van off at Berge Ford after a back tire blows out and damages several hoses and aluminum lines and you wont get your van back for 37 ridiculous days! I took my van in on March 9th and told them that Brake Masters had bypassed the lines so we could drive it closer to home (We were returning from out of state). There was no visible damage to the body of the vehicle. Theresa Kahl told me shed take care of it. On March 11th, our Allstate agent went out there, assessed the damage and wrote a check so that everything could be taken care of. Or so I thought. The next week, Theresa calls me and says that they found additional damage and shed have to call the agent back. The additional damage was all of the hoses and lines I told her about in the first place. She had my van for 2 days before the agent came the first time and she should have had the van inspected by their repair shop and had all of that information at that point. Theresa called me on Friday, March 18th and said that the agent had approved the additional work and that she would order the parts on Monday. It would take 7 business days to get the parts once they were ordered. I asked her if she could order them that day and she said, No, the orders have already gone out. After the parts finally arrive and Theresa gets back from vacation, I get a call saying that a couple of the parts came in mis-built or wrong and they would have to reorder them. . I told her this was my family van. I have 7 kids at home and we need our van. She seemed pretty unaffected, its all just business. She doesnt care about the customer. Apparently Berge Ford has never heard of overnight delivery. I will not take another vehicle here and recommend that others absolutely avoid this place.

The gear shifter broke off inside the steering column and the heater didn't work on my wife's explorer. Quote to fix was over $3500.00. This price included over $1800.00 for a whole new steering column assembly, a new heater control for $500.00 and labor to install both. I'm retired on fixed income and could not afford to fix. I contacted a local repair shop who did all the repairs for under $500.00. Turns out the shifter breaking off is such a common problem that kits are available to make the repair easy and much less expensive. The kits are not used by Berge Ford.........I wonder why??? The heater problem was mis-diagnosed by Berge and the $500.00 control was not needed. The local shop charged a considerable amount for labor to remove the dash to get at the heater problem which was the biggest part of their bill.To add to the poor handling of the whole thing Berge charged me $120.00 for the quote....which was mostly wrong in the first place!

I was seeking a replacement for my Ford F-350, used for towing our Fifth Wheel. While I really loved the 2008 Super Duty Lariat Crew Cab it was too expensive to operate in terms of down time and repair costs. The Berge team identified a Super Duty Platinum that was Certified Pre-Owned and in excellent condition, that meets my needs and budget. Thus far I am quite pleased with the truck and with the warranty coverage coupled with the excellent condition of the truck I expect many yeas and miles of pleasant service. While I took a loss on the old truck and paid too much for the used truck I am satisfied I will be pleased with the new 6.7 over the 6.4 Powerstroke Diesel. Thanks to Kevin, Scott, John, Fran, Richard and Dale for working wth me. Great team.

2015 Ford Focus ST1 - Only 500 miles, but so far good.Car Salesmen - Hands off and helpful. Just what I wanted, Would send someone his way.Financing/extended warranty guy - Real bummer. First he was dishonest in that he said I have to make a decision right then and there. Making it seem like I'd miss out if I didn't make a $1700 decision in less than 5 minutes. Then when I said no he said I could think about it for a few days.

My husband and I went to Berge Ford to check out Ford Escapes. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Ian Weingartz. He has the kind of demeanor I appreciate, helpful without being pushy. We looked at both new and used vehicles, and I ended up buying a certified 2013 SEL with low miles and the look of a brand-new car. Ian and another associate, Kim Shroyer, went the distance to make sure I was happy with my decision. This was the third car I've purchased in Arizona and was, by far, the best experience. I was totally unfamiliar with the new technology and Ian and Kim spent about 90 minutes going over all the features. I am very happy with the way I was treated by Ian and Kim and highly recommend them to prospective buyers.

We bought the Ford Mustang GT Coyote 436 2014...Best car I have owned and that includes my 1969 Chevelle SS 396 which I still drive when I'm not driving the Mustang. Service at berge is the best you can start with honesty and integrity and it just gets better from there. They have a comfortable lounge with a small resturant/snack bar that doesn't over charge for drinks and snacks. Everyone at Berge is helpful and considerate, no drama just a professional and personable atmosphere that allows you to feel comfortable and relax knowing that you are in good hands as is your vehicle. You will always get a free car wash when they are finished servicing your car and it's not a rush job either they make sure they get all those bug and tar splatters off your ride so it looks great inside and out when they finish and you are ready to go. The prices are great as well. Beleive it or not it cost less to service the Mustang than it does to change the oil in my Triumph motorcycle. What more could you ask for fast and fair prices, courteous and professional service with a smile and a Thank You as you depart. Perfect...

Was covered under warranty. my only question is do the mechanics actually check anything or do they just look at what the computer says, because they are a bunch of geeks that don't know anything except what the computer tells them. it was just in for service.

I purchased a 2015 4x4 F150 from Berge. Given that i don't really enjoy the car buying experience, I must say that my dealings a Berge was exceptional. There was no high pressure sales tactics, pleasant conversation, and a nice atmosphere. Should the need arise again for a new vehicle, Berge will be my first consideration.

The service was great. Not much else to say about that. However, the call and the repeated requests to fill out a survey are annoying. If there was a problem I would have been the first to tell you. The fact that I came back should indicate that I liked the "experience ". Based on the pep talk to fill out a survey when I bought the car and the reminders to fill out the oil change surveys, I understand that you are under some sort of pressure to get responses. You might want to tells those putting the pressure on that there are some consumers that don't care for this. And it seems, at least to this consumer, that the surveys are not designed to help me in any way, but are either for some guy in Detroit who has never met anyone who bought a Ford or they are simply advertising.Oh, and have a nice day!

Purchase process was pleasant and refreshing. The people that I contacted through payment and test driving were knowledgeable and friendly.I recently wrecked the car, rear-ending a vehicle at an intersection. I had the tow driver deliver the car to the collision center at Berge. They completed the repairs and returned the car to me in less than two weeks. The front end looks like it just came off of the showroom floor. The work was excellent. I just came back from a 500 mile trip and the car handled beautifully, just like it was new. I have 2014 Ford Fusion. I have had service several times since purchasing my car from Berge. I have noticed each time I have entered the service area to check my car in, the service is poor. I have had to look or ask for a service person to come and check me in. I feel they have even seen me, yet ignored me. I didn't like this. Not the way to treat a customer when they first arrive for service. The service itself has been timely and so far adequate. The cashier's are very friendly.

Had the truck in for regular service, oil, filters and so forth. Mentioned I had to jump-start it the week before, and asked that the electrical system be checked. Battery failed and was replaced under the extended warranty. I had figured I'd be paying for it, so was very pleased that Joey took the lead and verified warranty coverage. I asked for the wiper blades to be replaced and was surprised again, because they were 'no charge', being covered by the customer loyalty program. Ran it through the wash rack, too. Good job guys, see you again in 5,000 miles.

He always makes sure that I get in and once I am there, he quickly informs me if additional work is needed on my car or if they need to have my car for longer than what is needed. Berge is flexible with appointments and I feel like they are honest. I never feel like they recommend service unless it is necessary.

2013 Ford Edge - Had a battery problem. The service agent came to the car within a couple of minutes and after telling him the problem, quickly made arrangements. Within a couple hours the car was finished and ready to go. It took a little long, but told me that the battery needed to be tested to make sure it had a bad cell, and then would be replaced or recharged.Excellent service and friendliness

I took my car to the collision dept on 10/5/15. My car was to be ready on 10/9/15 however, my car was not ready until 10/13/15. I tried to pick up my car on 10/13/15 but the battery was dead. The collision dept charged the battery to get my car to the service dept. I could not wait so I picked up my car on 10/14/15. The interior lights did not come on when I opened the doors so I took my car back on 10/15/15. The service adviser could not fix the light issue so I came back on 10/16/15 for the tech to fix the light issue. After 1 hour and 45 minutes I had my car back with the lights coming on when I open the door.Lesson learned, don't come in when I have things to do and places to be. Everyone was helpful and friendly and I love having my car back.

Everyone was really nice and the best part was there was no pressure!!We were there all afternoon and evening (we ended up buying 2 vehicles) and the one suggestion we would have would be for there to be snacks and drinks readily available. When we asked about it we were taken to the employee break room for a soda machine. It would be nice to have something in an area that is specifically a customer area. The snack shop in the service dept. was closed since it was later in the day.

During a routine oil change, I noted to my service agent that my 2013 Escape dash reminder noted that the engine coolant was low. While I was waiting for my car, David Harney, my service agent, stated that I had a water pump leak and would have to leave the car overnight. They provided a rental and I picked up my car the next day all repaired under warrantee. Berge Ford staff and mechanics ALWAYS do an awesome job communicating the problems and repairing the car superbly. I recommend them to all my friends. Note: I continue to go to Berge Ford even though there is a Ford dealer within a few miles of my home, because I trust them explicitly. I am widowed so need assistance with my vehicle that I can trust to have my best interest at heart. Berge Ford (and David in particular) fulfills that need completely.

Upon arriving at Berge Ford, I found no pressure by the sales staff. Kevin Conley approached my wife & I as we walked the lot looking at F-150's. He ask if he could be of any assistance, offered direction, wasn't pushy in any way and let us look. We thought we'd found something to look at, and Kevin got the keys, ask a few questions so he could look at his computer for other available trucks that might interest us and let us look over the truck. Wasn't what we were looking for and Kevin lead us to another truck to look over, It was 100+ labor day and he brought us waters. Still wasn't the right fit and Kevin started in to look on his computer for more options, I suggested we accompany him to make the job easier. Kevin never pushed agreed that would be a good idea because it was hot and we went inside. I was impressed with the non-aggressive approach. Inside we found the right fit, at the right price. We worked with Dave Pierce on financing and drove our "Certified, Per-owned 2015 F-150" home that night. I'm extremely pleased and satisfied with your sales and financing team that I've gotten the opportunity to worked with at Berge Ford.

Ford Flex. Rear lights went out on passenger side and auto places in town couldn't get the back open to get to the lights on the Flex. Called and asked for appointment and they said they had an express isle for problems like this. It wasn't very "express" but that could be because the car got washed too. It was over 45 minutes. Just glad it got taken care of. Good cafeteria for quick lunch break express problem.

All the guys that come out to assist you are very pleasant. My Edge had a freak accident from something on the road causing damage but even though it took a month to get my car back they kept me updated with progress and that they were waiting on my insurances decision. My wife and I were looking in buying a new truck. She had been looking at sales in the paper and on line. Ford advertisedo a deal on the F150 and we thought we'd take a look. The dealership looked clean and was easy to access. Walking through the trucks, Kevin Conley drove by, ask if he could help, made a few suggestions and moved on. Amazingly, he wasn't pushy. We found a truck we'd like to look at and Kevin just showed up, got the keys, ask a few questions and left us there to look things over. He returned and this wasn't the truck so Kevin directed us to others. He was never pushy, so I ask if we could go inside and we could work with him where it was cool and he could work more effectively on his computer. We found a previously owned, certified truck, drove it, settled on a price and w=nt to financing. David in finance,went over the money, answered questions and made the deal/experience easy and comfortable. What an awesome bunch of people who know there product and never push or force anything. I'm extremely happy with the service I've received from Berge Ford team and will definitely recommend anyone who's looking for a vehicle to stop by there.

Kim Shroyer and Marc (finance team) were excellent. Got in and out in less than 3 hours; a world record, I'm thinking. However, your service department is dreadful. In addition to having a LoJack installed, there were also 2 small issues with the car that needed to be addressed. I was told that all would be handled in a single appointment, but they weren't. The LoJack was installed just this weekend, but that was it. When I questioned the service team, I was told that they would have to order the parts AND that that was someone else's responsibility. Pretty much every question I asked, was someone else's responsibility. With three weeks between date of purchase and date of service, surely someone had time to order the required parts for the other repairs. Yet, no one thought ahead to do that. Now, I have to surrender my car a second time to have the work done. I work in Casa Grande, AZ. This is not convenient for me at all. Sad, sad, sad. Someone had better fix this, or people are going to start going elsewhere to have their Fords fixed.

My one complaint, is that although I explained that I had bought a "certified" used car and my warentee was actually a year longer, the service person did not seem to understand that. He explained that my "extended" warrantee would not cover what was wrong with my car and I needed to get in quickly to fix it. My husband called the general manager when I got home. I was correct, my original warrantee was good for an extra year.

What a great purchase and sale experience. I transacted on three cars in one day and did not have any hurdles with the three difference vehicles. Your service was excellent. Mel Palmer showed us the right car right away. We were pleased. Link was wonderful. He bent over backwards to make sure we were satisfied. I have two complaints. The financing took way too long. I told both Link and Mel that we had already secured financing through Bank of America. I was surprised when they finally brought us back to sign papers and we were financed through Wells Fargo at over 4%. Bank of America had told us our rate would be 2%-3%. By then I was too tired to argue as it was 9 p.m. The next morning I called Berg Ford and asked about the loan. They said they would look into it. We still have not heard back. They said they had changed the loan over to Bank of America, But I would like to know the percentage rate of the loan and what the monthly payments would be. On another matter, Eloise had to take our new car into the Berg Ford service department last night because the engine light came on. The service department just called and explained the repairs they had to make. The good news is that the repairs fall under the warranty. But it was inconvenient for Eloise to take the car in and get a rental for a day. Berg Ford needs to be more careful about the used cars you sell. It should not have problems less than a week after we bought the car. Over all though we are pleased with our car and the service you have provided.

We had a 2003 mustang convertible which we loved and traded it in for a 2015 mustang convertible. We can't believe the difference in the two cars. the 15 is unbelievable. We wanted to get more options, but you have to upgrade to certain packages which we didn't want to do. You should be able to order the things you want on a vehicle without paying the package price. Dave Thilges is outstanding, we have worked with him before and he goes out of his way to help you. We love the car, the dash and styling are beautiful, in all it's a fun car that gets a lot of looks.

I went to Berge Ford to get service done to my 2008 Fusion. I had no intention on buying a car that day. While I was waiting for my car to be finished I was walking around the lot, just browsing the new cars. That's when Tyler Harris approached me. It was a hot day and as I saw Tyler walking towards me I remember thinking to myself "I don't want to waste this guys time and have him out here in the sun" but after a few minutes of talking with Tyler about my situation he had me thinking about trading my cars in and getting something new. See, back in September I purchased a Jeep Wrangler and I loved it but in January my GF got pregnant so I knew that I had to get rid of the Jeep (although I didn't really want to). The problem was I still owed a lot on the loan I took out for it. Tyler helped me explore my options and helped me choose the one that was best for me. Before the day was over I traded in both of my vehicles and drove off the lot in a 2013 Ford Taurus. My experience at Berge Ford (especially with Tyler Harris) was amazing! I came to Berge Ford expecting to buy a used Ford Focus or similar model to replace my 13-year-old Toyota that had finally died. The salesman (Link) spent a lot of time showing me all the used cars that met my criteria, as well as a new (2015) Focus, without putting any pressure on me to go with the priciest model. In the end, I went with the new Focus because of the 0% interest, and because I wanted a car that would likely last at least as long as my previous car did. The other thing I really appreciate is that Link called me the next day to find out how I was doing with my new Focus, and when I confessed that I was still having trouble with all the "bells & whistles" that new cars come with nowadays, he invited me back for a "tutoring" session in which he showed me again how to program the radio, use the built-in bluetooth, etc. All in all, I felt like I got a lot of personal attention as well as a great deal. And I really love the car!

Even though my oil change seemed longer than usual (2 1/2 hours) and my car wash was forgotten, but taken care of - I was pleasantly surprised and thankful that I was not charged for the oil change because of the inconvenience. We bought a 2016 Ford Escape with everything on it. Our salesman was Gary and he treated us very good. He offered us bottle of water right away and sat down with us to get an idea of what we wanted since it was really hot outside. That way he found the cars that fit what we wanted and drove them up to us so we did not have to weather the heat. I thought that was very nice since it was 108 outside. We finally picked one and everything went smooth even on the trade in that we had. I got what I wanted and then they sent us to a person who went over all the options on the new car. After that we sat down with the loan person(Marc)and did all the paperwork. Marc was very nice and efficient. Then our salesman came and got us to cover more options on the car and answer any questions. We drove off feeling very happy with our new Ford Escape. I would highly recommend Berge Ford to all my friends.

My 30 day old 2015 "Redesigned" Edge had a faulty liftgate latch, which took one week to repair because Ford eliminated a release latch that previous Edge models had. This made the repair/replacement very difficult. Berge employees did a fine job in fixing the problem but with a better design for access to the latch the replacement would have been easier and the repair time much shorter. I hope Ford is made aware of the issue.

I was looking for a new Ford F550 to haul my large horse trailer. I looked locally at my Ford dealers and found they had nothing in stock and it would take several months to order and take delivery. I saw Berge Ford on a truck oriented web site offering very good prices on the truck I was looking for. I inquired into the truck and was immediately contacted by a Berge Ford Representative, Craig. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. We interacted several times over the phone and internet and he answered all my questions and doubts. We quickly put a great deal together and I made arrangement to fly from Idaho to Phoenix to pick up the truck. Craig met my flight at the airport, took me to the dealership, and went through all the details of the systems in the F550. When I was satisfied with my new knowledge, I met Barbara, my finance person. She walked me through all the required documents and signings, options, etc. and got this all complete in a very short time. Lastly, I met George, the person that was going to escort me to Las Vegas (so I didn't legally have to pay Arizona sales tax - only my home state tax). George escorted me to the Arizona/Nevada border, had the proper documents notarized and I completed the drive home. No sweat. Within a couple of days I got a followup call from my Rep Craig and we discussed a few questions I had regarding the Navigation system. I would certainly recommend this approach to purchasing a vehicle to anyone that has trouble getting the unit they're looking for locally. These folks are good.

Fernando Perchico, is and has been my service person sense my purchase of all my trucks at Berge, I bought a extended warranty when my 2008 f 250 was brand new, then after that expired I bought another warranty this time through ford ..The last service I did which was less than a month or so I asked to have the drivers seat looked at as the lumbar device had failed in the seat ...I was told that this could not be repaired, not under warranty and I have to buy a new one for 500.00 dollars, I have only 88,000 plus miles on my truck I feel this is something that should be covered since I travel and use the seats lumbar all the time .now the seat creaks and is very uncomfortable. I would be willing to even split the cost, as this has made my driving a pain since I have sciatica back problems to begin with, if there is anything you could do to help that would be wonderful. Today is our anniversary for the Ford Mustang GT Coyote 436 Limited Edition... You probably are wondering what? There are only 4 of these Mustangs in the world. Designed and Built by Berge Ford as a Limited Edition. We would not have had the opportunity to buy this car had it not been for the excellent salesmanship of Glenn B. Director of Internet Sales. Vicki and I were already owners of the 2006 Ford Mustang GT with 100,000 miles and zero mechnical problems it was about time to trade in for something new. I had seen a video on youtube where a Coyote 436 was racing against a 2006 Mustang Gt as so I contacted Ford and wow it was like they were reading my mind. Glenn was assertive but not in a salesy way, but in a matter of fact way. He told me that they would have the Coyote ready asap. I had not even talked about a purchase, I didn't even say I was interested. I had just inquired about the what and where of this car. It was like he knew what I was looking for and so put the deal in motion. I didn't really know what he was talking about at first, it was like I had specifically ordered this car, which I had not. But it was a dream come true, this was exactly the car we were looking for. I knew it the moment I saw the first pictures Glenn had sent over. This was a once in a life time experience and Vicki and I were enjoying every minute of it. You know one of those times when everything comes together perfectly and you are just along for the ride of a life time which is what I have to say about the Coyote 436... I love this car it is everything I expected and more. And the thing is there is only one with a 6 speed manual trans and we got. The other 3 coyotes were auto-matic trans. Again another detail that happened without me ever saying I wanted a 6 speed. The best deal ever on the price and the trade in. Berge Ford got my attention and Vicki and I will defintely be purchasing our next vehicle from Berge. I don't want to sound like a commerical but the good people at Berge are on top of their game, with quality and service. The reason I come to Berge Ford Service Department is Sergio. I bought my Mustang back in 2007 and that is when Sergio became my service advisor. He is fair and looks out for your best interest with your vehicle. Buying this 2014 Fusion unfortuantley was not bought at Berge do to issues with your internet division but called and made sure Sergio was still there and spoke with him about having my Fusion serviced with him and glad he is still with Berge Ford.

I posted this Google review and received a response from Berg...I was told to call 480-497-1112...a non-working number! So I called the main number and was put into the customer service manager's voicemail. Still haven't heard back. Don't let them fool you into thinking they are taking care of their issues!May 10, 2015 we bought a certified pre-owned 2011 F350 dually with 22,000 miles. Less than 6 weeks later, as we were returning from a camping trip on the Rim, we noticed a bubble in the drivers side front tire. We changed the tire and realized the tires are 5 1/2 years old. Even though the tires have a reasonable amount of tread, the age of the tires deemed them unsafe. We placed the tire with the bubble in the bed of the truck until the next day when we could contact Berg. The temperature was cool and only reached mid-80's but when we looked at the tire that afternoon it had burst. Thank God we changed it because we wouldn't have made it even a few miles without a blowout...a disaster when towing a 16,000 pound trailer. We brought the truck to Berg the next morning where we were initially told all the tires would be replaced. After a couple of hours the manager called to say Berg would not replace all the tires even though he felt it unsafe. Well, after several phone calls and elevating to someone of an unknown position who makes decisions like this, they told us they would replace all the tires, albeit that we would have to pay $600 towards the cost. I don't know about you, but if you spend $50,000+ for a 'certified' vehicle you would think the tires would last longer than 6 weeks! We went to pick up the truck and they replaced all the tires except the spare, even though the service manager said he wouldn't feel safe driving his family on that tire! It makes no sense to go through all this effort then fall short of doing the right thing!. This is the 3rd truck we've purchased from Berg and we've had all the service done at Berg on the last truck, but this experience will be our last with Berg. Too bad, we thought they were a reputable company that believed in doing the right thing by their customers. Disappointed!

The staff are always great about keeping me updated as I have my vehicle (2009 F150) serviced. They are thorough in their explanations, service is prompt and pleasant. The only negative - which I complain about every time - is the check in process, or rather, lack thereof. Pulling into the bay and just waiting until someone wanders out is a frustrating, inefficient experience. Once checked in, everything is ok but it would be a more efficient, pleasant experience if there was some sort of process or 'concierge' to facilitate the check-in and assignment to a service representative.

The day started out very frustrating looking for a vehicle to assist us in traveling. My husband is handicapped so we needed something comfortable and that had the capacity to carry his mobility chair. These are great trucks - other than regular maintenance, no major work has been required so far.Your service department is great. Service managers try to expedite the work when asked if that is possible. One was minor and fixed quickly, the other was the leather on the drivers seat, after 11,000 miles showing excessive wear on the seat. They put new leather on the seating area and it looks great! The purchasing process was not combative as I usually encounter when I buy a new car. The salesman was pleasant and accommodating. The other staff people were also pleasant and knowledgeable. The salesman took me for a spin and showed me the various features of the Fusion. I like the car and have nearly 2000 miles on it now. MPG is good. The ride is comfortable. The car handles great. I was never able to get my the front alignment corrected at Berge Ford. I ended up going to San Tan Ford and they corrected the front alignment first trip. San Tan Ford has a more experienced group of mechanics. I now have over 26,000 miles on my tires and their alignment has my tires wearing evenly.

Brought our Fusion in for service and also to have alignment, and a issue with the key fobs weren't working.They said it would most likely take a couple of hours.I waited.The service agent came and told me they were waiting for a call from ford and could take up to 90min.to hear from them.I told them to give me a call when it was ready.They asked if I wanted it wash at the time and I said know as it was clean at that time this was on Monday. On Thursday the car was ready for pickup.Unfortunately it rained over night with the car sitting out. It could have been washed as it came in clean.The work was done well just disappointed somewhat that the car was delivered back drity.

It took a while to be greeted and start the process. Once a service tech took my order, everything went quite smooth. I asked if the invoice/receipt could be emailed to me. Clerk said the system was not set up for that. I would like this feature as I file the email receipts from other service providers: Goodyear Tire and British Automotive Repair. This saves me from filing paper forms and is easily retrievable. You obviously have my email address; attaching a file should not be that much of a change to your system.

I was driving a 15 year old Honda CRV, a car that I loved, but it started having more problems than what made sense to fix. So I started my search for a new car. I had it narrowed down between 2 different vehicles from 2 different companies....and in the end, the Ford Explorer won out. What a difference! It gives you such a smooth ride! And the amenities that came with it? Awesome! Shawn Yates was the person that helped me through the buying process. He was always on top of his emails and always got back to me right away. The vehicle I purchased was at a different lot and when it was delivered, it has a very small ding beside the front drivers side door. Shawn assured me that Berge Ford would fix that for me, which they did with no problems and it turned out great! You'd never know there was ever anything wrong! Shawn made the whole buying experience one that wasn't painful at all! He has my thanks! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new Explorer!!

We ordered sideboards for our Ford F-150 (which we love)from Johnathon and then went to the accessories desk to make the appointment to have them installed. I don't remember the accessory guys name. Both gentlemen were very friendly and helpful. I love the black sideboards that we chose. The appointment to have them installed was pretty quick. We also ordered mats for the floor board from Johnathon, no complaint against him, but we are taking the floor mats back today. I don't think they are the right set.

After purchasing my 2012 Fusion at Berge I have always had it serviced at Berge as well. When I arrived I was a little surprised my Service Advisor was no longer at that location and given that there were a number of cars waiting for service I was afraid that my wait would be one of the longer waits so I was thinking about leaving and coming back some other day. But my new Service Advisor told me that it would take approximately an hour and 15 minutes which was around the normal amount of time so I decided to wait. It took about one hour and 30 minutes which is pretty much the average time so I was very pleased.

I was looking for a vehicle to tow flat behind my motorhome and came in to view an Explorer. While there I discovered that the CMax not only would tow flat but had the added benefit of being a combo hybrid and plug in. It was the right weight and met more than my criteria so it was the perfect choice. This last experience in buying our vehicle was the worst experience we have ever had with a dealership. They tried to hide the cost of an extended warranty and did not disclose the cost of the warranty until they were asked directly about it. We knew something was wrong when we declined the extended warranty and were told that we could get it and it wouldn't change our payment. We immediately knew we were being lied to. I purchased an F2 50 diesel 2005 in the used car department September 1 got a free oil change from this dealership took it in three weeks later they're certified mechanic came out and told me there was oil in the coolant and has been there for way over three months I had only purchase the vehicle three weeks ago. The sales man I work with and finance department In the used cars told me when I purchased the vehicle there was 100 point inspection done to make sure all is in working order it was an as is sale but this was not as it is it was something they head because the cost of repair was substantial. Their own certified mechanic told me this was a problem that's been there for over three months then I spoke to the general manager Steve who told me they don't do inspections on these vehicles which was a lie their used car department told me they did do inspections on these vehicles to make sure they're okay to sell which was a lie Steve general manager boss Jim Crutcher told me next they do do safety inspections. Well what is the truth do you or don't you these fools just give me the runaround because I am a minority they are a big corporation money hungry monsters. I took this alleged vehicle to a mechanic certified diesel mechanic who has his own shop and estimated repair cost of $8000 I was to purchase this truck for 13,900 now it cost 8000 to even get it running they knew about this issue they have to have if the so-called doing inspection. All I ask is for what is fair I met with Steve and Jim Crutcher who were both unfriendly and unwilling to work with me they took my case as a joke I gave them a quote from the certified diesel mechanic they didn't even review it completely I made them a letter stating what I requested which was to redo the loan and refund my 2900 down payment they said that this truck was now mine and they wouldn't work with me well Jim Crutcher I wrote you the letter don't know if you chose to read it my demands were firm I did not threaten you in anyway I promised you and in the manner I told you it was a promise that I will go as far as I can take this you're in for a big ride I'm going above your head speaking to your boss and to the CEO letting them know what fraudulent business you are running over there I am a hard-working man less than middle-class family of five children struggling to make ends meet at the time this vehicle was to be my work vehicle now you have put me in a predicament because of your fraudulent ways. When I first went there you all told me you wanted to help me you acted like you were more than my best friend now this happens and you don't even know me well I'll tell you this much Jim Crutcher you won't forget me I will be posting nonstop I will call radio stations I will call newspapers I will call Better Business Bureau and anyone else who is willing to listen you will see me and many others out front of your dealership protesting with signs not to purchase their your name Steve's name I will tell many people business owners who by fleet vehicles what kind of business you guys are running whether I win my case or not you will lose more in the long run through bad publicity

Mel in the accessory seemed genuine, interested and willing to help.HOW TO BUY A CAR HERE:This dealership, unexpectedly and unwillingly, charges customer for extras they don't necessarily want nor ask for when you purchase a new vehicle. Window tint is one of them. Now, this window tint has a "lifetime guarantee" and sounds good, right? WRONG! We have a Ford that was purchased new here, but because "their records only go back seven years", their "lifetime guarantee" is no longer honored. I advise everyone purchasing a vehicle here to not pay their silly add-on's. Further more, www.kelleybluebook.com allows you to get a general invoice costs to their vehicles. Last few vehicle purchased, I was able to negotiate $1,500-$2,000 under factory invoice, plus all rebates. Food for thought people...The gentleman, Mel, in the accessory department genuinely was trying to help. But I understand the GM is choosing not to honor their guarantees because "we don't use that window tint company anymore". Which is a likely story. Sure, Berge Ford, you're still around but the tint company "went out of business." Sure.

I have purchased several personal vehicles from them and always had a good experience. This last time was the best however. I purchased a used dump truck for my business. My salesman Tim S. was very helpful, knowledgeable and straight forward.The truck itself was an off brand (Mitsubishi) but he and the staff there did their best to accommodate all of my questions. Being a used truck, it's not a complete surprise that there may be a few items that need to be fixed up on it and this was the case. The managers never nickled and dimed me about the repairs. Tim expedited the repairs and drove the truck to the repair shop for me.A good group of people from finance to sales to managers. Tim in the fleet department was the guy who made the deal and followed up after the sale like a boss.Thanks guys.

This Dealership is the epitome of why people don't trust dealers, finance managers and used car salesman. live 5 hours from this dealership and first talked with Tom. I took notes on every phone conversation and yes you guessed in the numbers changed every time I talked with him. I then get turned over to the finance manager MJ. It all seemed to be working out better. My wife and I drive the 5 hours, of course bringing the detailed list of docs they were requesting for the loan. We filled out ALL the paperwork, got the insurance changed over, car was detailed and ready to go, drive out tag printed and THEN.............we don't have the right document for them. Of course remembering they gave us a detailed list prior to us making the drive.Needless to say we left and made the 5 hour drive back home. I would NOT recommend this dealer. If you enjoy getting jerked around Berge Ford is the place.Just a few more details, the salesperson stated one of the vehicles that we were interested got sold the night prior. Gave me details like his GM was driving it, WOW it was really nice BUT it got sold, he even told me the name of the other sales person, pointed him out. Yes you guessed............the car magically appears as were are about to leave.

I dropped my truck off at 7am this morning to check and adjust my front end alignment. The passenger tire is feathering again. This is the same problem that I was having earlier with approximately 4,000 miles on the tire. The adviser tells me it is "normal wear". The other front tire is fine. I have taken my truck in now 4 times trying to get the problem fixed. It was quiescence, when I turned into Ford Motors driveway this morning, my engine died. This was the 1st time it ever happened. I was not sure what caused it. I mentioned this to David and he was going to have the mechanics check it out. Initially, I went to your service department for two things:1). Check and adjust the front end alignment.2). Update the SYSC System software because it gave me a message telling me that the software was out of date for my new phone and it would not recognize the phone application Pandora. David said that there were no newer updates out there but later said after checking himself; it looked like there may be an update. This was at 5pm. "Basically, none of your maintenance personnel really checked the software". David wanted me to leave it again overnight so they could work on it again the next day. All that I have experienced from Bergers maintenance group is passive service. How can it take all day to trouble shoot these few items and then end up at the end of the day saying everything was OK and still find out there may be a software update that needs to be uploaded and ask to leave it again another day. This is ridiculous. I had a poor experience earlier when the tire exchange took a complaint to the BBB and now we are heading in to another bad experience. It is all a repeat of being told it OK when it is not and it is at the customers expense of time and effort to get things fixed the right way. I love my truck but your service department needs improvement.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had at a dealership, and I have been around the block a few times. Everyone at the dealership was eager to help and knowledgeable. There was no pressure to buy at all. This WAS NOT one of those snag your keys and beat you down dealerships. With the rebates and reasonable trade in value offered, I had to act on the offer. Would I do it again? YES!!! Would I recommend Them? YES!!!

My Escape buying experience was amazing. Every single person I came in contact with was friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and efficient. There was NO pressure to purchase any vehicle, add-ons or other features. Theresa was sooooo efficient when I came to do the final paperwork. She had everything preprogrammed or installed. She explained all of the features in "crazy grandma" (laywoman's) terms. My previous car is a 2002 Escape..... so this new one is "space age" material. Nathan was also VERY efficient and explained all paper stuff clearly. David Harney, my longtime service agent, recommended Theresa to me..... a good move...... and takes GREAT care of me and my Ford vehicles. He never makes me feel like my numerous questions are stupid. There is at least one Ford dealership within 3 miles of my home, but I continue to go 20+ miles to Berge Ford for all of my vehicle needs.BERGE FORD IS THE GREATEST!

I had 4000 miles on my 2013 ford F150 pickup truck and the front tires started to rib badly on the inside and out. They realigned the front end and would not warranty the damage to replace the two front tires. Service manager started to yell at me accusing me of being unreasonable. Totally unwarranted. I will never buy another vehicle from Berge Ford, Mesa, AZ. Their service department is horrible.

This was a rather complicated transaction that could have only been handled by the most competent people. Both Craig and Nathan not only provided accurate information, they also offered some excellent options that made the entire transaction proceed very smoothly. No detail was too small and no request was too much. They not only made it fun, but jumped through every hoop to make sure the process was the best I've ever experienced. And you know what? By far the best sales and finance experience. We were treated respectfully and not as a pay check. From the moment we drove onto the lot, through the test drives and ending with a free tank of gas and a carwash over a week later the customer service was 100%. I believe that customer service is dead in most businesses these days, not at Berge Ford. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

My partner and I actually purchased 2 Ford Flex's from Berge Ford at the same time. We spent almost $46,000. Both of these cars had some issues that were not addressed during their "inspection" before placing them on the lot to re-sale. Once I had time to have my car looked at for these issues(about 60 days after purchase) I was told that it was past the 30 day window and I was now financially responsible for having these issues repaired. I received the absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE with everyone in the service department when trying to work through "who was responsible" for the repairs. The only thing that Berge would fix was the alignment on my car and as the Used Car Sales Manager said, "it's a courtesy because you purchased 2 cars." This was my third purchase with Berge Ford and I promise it will be the last. I plan on using the "free oil change" but I have NO intentions of utilizing Berge Ford's service for any of my car's maintenance. I am a disabled veteran and work for the VA. I plan to tell everyone that I come in contact with that Berge Ford has the worst customer service and never purchase a vehicle. Customer

The service sucked. My truck doesn't work right. And u guys don't want to make it right. Pathetic!!!! It never went through the multi point inspection like they promised. I've spent hundreds just trying to get it into normal working condition. My radio doesn't work right the brakes were almost illegal when I got it. Oil was over due for a change and the air filter was so clogged that it would of been better with out one. I got ripped off big time and think its said you guys don't want to do anything about it.. It was like pulling trying to get the brakes legal and actually working!!!!!

Let's see, Ford hands out recalls for a manufacturing defect they created yet we cannot expect a rental car for the inconvenience. This is why I drive an Audi. I was told only if the vehicle is not able to be driven will they provide a rental car. Technically I am not able to drive it since it's in their possession. I had to load my bike in the back of the car and bike to work.Also, when the vehicle was picked up, it was completely dirty inside. We recently had a dust storm and it looked like they left the windows open. Why would you return it to the customer in that condition?I have never owned an American car so maybe this is type of normal service to expect. I am used to being treated like a valued customer.

When I first visited Berge Ford in Mesa I was just window shopping at the time and was pleasantly surprised that I was not being hounded by any sales reps there, but when I did have any questions they were very happy to help me. Billy love was my first sales rep. and he was awesome! He knew I was not there to buy a vehicle that day, but still was very attentive and a personable gentleman. After a month or so I went back with my husband and right away Billy recognized me (I think this is a great quality of any sales person!). He treated my husband and I like he knew us for years and made the experience of buying our first car a great one.

Mr. Russell and Mr. Baker used my 2002 Thunderbird for 4 years. I told them on the first visit that the problem with overheating looked like a thermostat. I was told on numerous visits that they could not duplicate the problem. Every time I drove the car it overheated until the thermostat unstuck. They replaced the cooling fan twice and replaced the exploded coolant bottle twice. They replaced the hydraulic pump for the fan also. When I asked for a factory rep, I was told not to bring my car back even though it was under warranty. They also told every dealer in the valley not to service my car and that I was a disgruntled customer. Ford Motor Company protected Berge Ford by saying they were a private business and they could not make Berge Ford honor a Ford Motor Company warranty. The Arizona BBB tried to get me to sign a paper saying that they would arbitrate and I would have to give up all legal rights no matter what the decision. A year later San Tan Ford opened and they replaced the thermostat and I never had another problem. I have all garage receipts, letters, emails, and pictures to document to prove what happened.

Possibly most importantly - he listened to our desires and concerns. He then responded totally appropriately. It was absolutely evident that the dealership was supporting his efforts at all times. Everyone we came in contact with at the dealership was very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It was probably one of the most postive experiences I have ever had at an auto dealership - followed closely by Babbit Ford in Flagstaff, AZ. Best car buying experience I've ever had. They did not play games (very much). I knew what I would pay, what I wanted for my trade, etc. Within 20 minutes, we had a deal. There is no need for the games, either the deal can be done to the customers terms or not, I appreciate honest, upfront negotiations and these guys did that. Looking to buy a new/used car from your typical dealership has always been an unpleasant experience. Till now!I received a call from Barbara while she was on the road on her way in to work at Berg Ford. This was as a result of my interest in a used vehicle I saw on Berge Ford's web site.When she got into the office we talked again as to my needs and I decided to come in and look at and test drive a Ford Focus. I had some concerns on the operation of the brakes and transmission. She told me she would have a mechanic check it out and she did, as the brakes did need some maintenance to correct the problem.Due to my limited access to my only other car, I was not able to come in to discuss purchasing the Focus and it was sold before I could get back.Barbara continued to look for a good used car with low mileage that I could afford to get into. She called me about a week later and told me of two vehicles she thought I might be interested in seeing. Again she was very informative as to the specifics of both vehicles as I examined them in detail. She made a point of allowing me to fully inspect both vehicles by myself, remaining near by awaiting my inspection to be completed. I then called her over to discuss the pros and cons of both vehicles. Then, and only then did see give me her valued opinions. I decided to purchase the Hyundai Accent at a very reasonable price. Barbara was very professional in preparation of the paperwork, answering all my questions during the process, never pressured me in any way during the entire 8 day process to purchase anything that I did not need nor could not afford.When my wife and I came to make the final payment and pick up my vehicle the next day, it was totally detailed and with a full tank of gas no less, and on display making it look like a brand new car. This helped to compliment my choice of car by my wife. That alone was worth the price of the car. When was the last time I got a full tank of gas on a new/used car from a dealer....NEVER!!! Overall, I had a very enjoyable purchase experience, and I owe it all to the professionalism of Barbara Belitsos. She should be valued as a excellent sales person by Berg Ford.

It is the best exprierence I have ever had with a dealership. I looked on line for a car I saw the one I liked, I filled out the application the same day which was on a Thursday. Friday morning I got a call from the internet sales guy, he asked me to come in I went in on Saturday to test drive the car. He called me on Monday stating I was approved. Picked up my car on Tuesday. That was the fastest and most friendliest group of people that I have ever dealed with. I went to another Ford dealer, who 2 weeks later were still trying to get me approved, what a difference. I would definately recommend Berge Ford to anyone who is buying a vehicle wheither new or used. They are the most helpful and friendly, possitive group of individuals that work and help others in difficult situations. Good job. Kudos to you all.

First contacts were with Latham Aldrich regarding my damaged Ford Ranger P/up, and Karen Gruettke, the receptionist in the Service/Body Shop Center. They were extremely helpful, and did everything they could to assure me that the truck would be thoroughly evaluated, and they kept me up to date on the progress with truck's damage and our Insurance Co. - Hartford. As this was my first experience with an accident (that was my fault) without the knowlegeable assistance of my husband, who was hospitalized and in serious condition following a scheduled surgery, I greatly appreciated their friendly assistance and caring attitude! I met Mike Williams when it was determined that the truck had sustained greater damage than was first realized, and the Insurance Co. declared it a total loss. Latham explained the rationale for this determined loss better than the Hartford people did! He introduced me to Mike. I told Mike what our preferred relplacement choice was, and how much money we could put with the amount Hartford would offer. Mike started looking right away for a "Focus", preferably light in color. Hartford paid us a really fair amount - the truck had been a custom order by the first owner and had a number of undamaged "goodies" on it. We were the 2nd owner. Mike and his team foud us a beautiful metallic blue '08 "Focus", and had it ready in record time. Our sincere thanks to each of these people and their teams of employees who made what initially appeared to be a record disaster to us personally a truly good experience with minimal confusion and hassle. We are really happy with the "Focus" - it is what we had talked about getting a while back because of our physical limitaions. All our needs and expectations were met. THANK YOU!

We were very pleasantly surprised at how honest, and up front these guys were. Having been through the car buying process too many times to count, We were completely prepared for the the long haul of the sales guy running back and forth with that paper that has the four boxes on it. Well, there was none of that at Berge Ford. We obtained our own online financing and Tom at Berge said that he could beat their interest rate and loan amount. I am thinking, "yeah, right, they are gonna let us take this vehicle home and then call in two days to tell me that the financing fell through so now we need to put XXX $ amount of money down and all that b.s."That is NOT what happened. We signed the papers, left the dealership and four days later we came back to sign the loan documents and that was that!! There were no xtra or hidden costs listed on our RISD, and Tom even got us better financing than he or we expected.I am recommending Berge Ford to everyone we know, because I want everyone to have the same experience we did. It will totally change your mind about dealerships!!!THANK YOU SO MUCH TO TOM AND RICK! WE ARE SO HAPPY WITH OUR NEW EXPLORER AND OUR DOG IS THRILLED TO HAVE SO MUCH SPACE!

Once again this was a wonderful purchasing experience. Quick, fair and no haggling games. In Phoenix, we have lots of choices for car dealerships, but we continually return to Berge Ford due to the price, quality and customer service. This is the 6th vehicle we have purchased at Berge Ford, both new and used. Our sales representative, Jason Herritz, is a wiz on the Sync technology. He took a great deal of time training my husband and I on the usage of the menus and voice commands. He was helpful and knowledgeable without pressuring us to purchase. Billy was amazing! I was so discouraged about the type and quality of vehicle I would be able to get because of how horribly I was treated by SanTan Honda. Billy assured me I would drive away happy and that's EXACTLY what I did! He helped me find the perfect vehicle and worked tirelessly with financing until we came to a payment I could afford for the vehicle I fell in love with! Richard Fetech was also fantastic and helped me get the extra coverages I needed like GAP insurance for a reasonable price. My dad has purchased his last two vehicles at Berge Ford and swears by them. The entire staff were friendly and had a "can do" attitude. Although my credit was not the best after having lost my home to a layoff, they treated me like a VIP customer. I would recommend Berge Ford to EVERYONE! Dan Emmons has made buying a car fun again. I recently have gone through some hard financial circumstances and Tom Smith and Dan Emmons made the process of buying a car actually enjoyable. I had been to 2-3 other dealerships and felt unimportant to their staff and had almost given up. Wow I can't say enough great things about our buying experience at Berge ford with Rick. I phoned about a vehicle they had on their website. They confrimed it was still available. I let them know I would be down to loook and drive it. When we arrived the salesman I had spoken to was busy but he had already lined up someone else to work with us. They were upfront and no pressure sales. Take as long as we wanted test drive and just were so pleasent. When it came to price I had already done my research on the vehicle and it was under priced from kelly blue book. We got a great deal and they even threw in the dashmat for free. I consulted dealerrater.com to find a reliable dealership that doesn't play games and will treat me with respect. When I read all of the reviews (yes, all of them) I decided that this was the place I wanted to purchase my vehicle from. I contacted the dealership by email, and received a prompt reply that Jason Herritz would contact me, and he did. I made an appt to see him, and he greeted me promptly and he had an Explorer ready for me to test drive. I asked him many questions, and he had a satisfactory answer for each one. When I left the dealership that day, I was pleased that no pressure was exerted to buy that moment. I called Jason the next day to meet with him and have my husband drive another Explorer, the one I drove was not the one I wanted, and we agreed that this could be the one to buy. When we told Jason that were interested, he gave us the facts on the financing and we began the bargaining process. When Marc Mereness joined us to finalize the deal, he could not have been more helpful and even fun! Richard Fetech finished the application process and gave us the service info, the keys and other instructions to help us enjoy our new SUV to the fullest. I would definitely purchase my next vehicle at Berge!

I have dealt with berge Ford several times in the past and have never had a bad experience. My experience with my salesman marcus was exceptional. He was very courteous and polite when I spoke with him on the phone, and he was even better in person. He was extremely patient and professional, he made sure that I received the best price and that I received the best service possible as well. After the sale was made he followed up and made sure I was happy with my purchase. My buying experience with marcus all in all was great even though I didn't care to be in finance that long but its a given that finance isn't exactly the funnest part of buying a car anyhow. I would absolutely recommend buying from berge Ford and without hesitation recommend marcus stripling as a salesman too.

Andrew was only on the job for about three days prior to our purchase. Any questions we had that he was not completely sure about the answer he quickly found out and got back to us immediately. They worked with us in a very professional way on our price strucure for the car we bought Between Andrew and Billy Love we negotiated in a very positive/fun way and they met all of our wishes/needs etc. upon agreeing to buy the car. It was the first time my wife and I had bought a car together and the experience was very free of any high level stress or pressure from the dealership.

We were a bit aprehensive due to the fact that we have gone to Berge Mazda and VW and they have always been high pressure and didnt like our experience with them at all. But, after meeting with Dave Kohler we had a different perspective of Berge. We were very happy with the service we recieved. Dave knew the products we were looking for, was willing to work with us to assist us in the buying and trading in process. The whole team from Berge Ford changed our perspective of this dealership and we would recommend people to go there. Car buying can be stressfull and Dave and the whole team there made the car buying experience to me pleasant. More car dealerships in the valley need to stive to be more like Berge Ford. Thanks!

Very pleased with the sales staff at Berge. On my first visit I spoke with Nicholas Merrit. He was very nice and inviting and the main reason I returned to Berge, along with the inventory of 2012 Focus's. The next morning I called Nick on his cell and he was off but arranged for me to speak with Chandler Riding when I arrived at the dealer. Chandler was also very nice and responsive. Both of these sales consultants made my 2012 Focus buying experience a pleasure. I was also very happy with the buying process, the price of the car, the incentives, the trade-in value I received, and Shawn Yates in accessories. Even the paperwork guy was very nice (don't remember his name). All in all a very positive experience and I would highly recommend Berge and the staff I worked with to any new car/truck buyer. I was planning on purchasing a used Ford Taurus and visited three dealerships in the Phoenix area on Saturday, May 14. Two of the dealerships I had no experience with--but I had been having my Ford Expedition serviced at Berge since 2007, so I saved Berge for my last stop that day. As it turned out, I saved the best for last. When I arrived, I was greeted courteously, and asked for my primary contact, Roger, who was not present. Jason immediately greeted me, and pulled out his cell phone indicating he was giving Roger a courtesy call, which impressed me because it showed integrity and teamwork at this dealership in the sales department. Sure enough when my sales paperwork was finalized, Jason had ensured that both his and Roger's names were on the paperwork. Tom Smith treated me very well--he was courteous, explained the paperwork, and entertained me as Jason had the team make my vehicle ready for delivery. The vehicles on the used lot at Berge were in better shape than both the other Ford dealers I visited. This was my first buying experience at Berge and pretty much cemented my beliefs about the dealership being honest, straightforward and fair in their dealings. Berge Ford exceeded my expectations.The salesperson Steve Lyman was very knowledgeable about the vehicles options and operation. Steve had the vehicle waiting up front when we arrived ready to go for a test drive. He had already researched the car fax and had that information at his finger tips. The car was exactly like Steve described on the phone and in very good condition. Berge offered me a fair price for my trade and the price negotiation for our new vehicle was fair and pleasant which is unusual. Buying a car never went so smoothly and it was our best car buying experience so far. After settling on the deal Steve had the paperwork finished, the car detailed, full tank of gas, and we were on our way. We'll look to Berge Ford for our next purchase for sure.

We started our pursuit of a vehicle using the Internet as we have many tines, previously.We found Barbara to be very thorough, professional, absolutely understanding of what we wanted and went to extraordinary lengths to help us find exactly what we wanted. She was aware that we were working in tandem with another Ford dealer in the area, but we were immediately impressed with her work ethic and were reasonably sure she would be the one we would purchase from, eventually. From start to finish, a number of e-mails and phone calls took place and the entire deal was put together in less than two days. The best part of the deal was that we were able to have her do all the hard work while we sat home reviewing our options. In the end we ended up spending what we expected but received a much better vehicle than we thought was possible. We hope that the owners and management of Berge Ford in Mesa, AZ. realize what a gem they have in this salesperson.

I went to Berge because I was told barb was a stand up saleswomen who would do everything in her power to get me in a car. I went to one of those pay here drive here places, I was not happy with what I was being offered. I walked into Berge and felt so comfortable and accepted so I sat and listened to her and a couple hours later I drove away more happy than I coulda ever asked for. Our experience at Berge Ford has made us customers for life. Theresa was outstanding. She took the time to find the right vehicle for us and made the whole car buying experience enjoyable and honest. We have to drive three hours from Yuma, Az to Berge Ford, but the trip is absolutely worth it for the quality of service and the price. The entire staff at Berge Ford was a pleasure to work with. Nathan in the financial department was honest and provided excellent customer service. The gentleman in the accessories department (forgot his name, Sean or Shane?) was informative and friendly. He answered all of our questions and provided excellent information to maintain and utilize our vehicle. Have bought three loaded Chryslers in past with my fathers employee A plan, but after comparing price with Berge Ford, I bought a Ford F150 Crew Cab that was 3000.00 more and same amount of payments for 100.00 per month less. Not to mention that at age 48 and purchasing a new vehicle every two years, the experience at Berge Ford was one of the best I ever had. The Berge Ford Service Department definitely breaks my old perception of a slow, expensive, dealer experience. They know what they are doing, exceed expectations, and treat their customers well. Labor and parts cost is very competitive and usually less than private shops. I have an F250 with a turbo diesel and must depend on it for some tough performance. Berge Ford gives me that confidence and are now my first choice for service and maintenance.

This is our third new vehicle purchase from Berge. We ordered this vehicle in January and took delivery today (March 5, 2011). As usual, they treated us great, and we are very pleased with the new 2011 Edge we purchased. Floyd Foster, our salesman, has been wonderful every step of the way. He is particularly knowledgeable (probably more so than any auto salesman I have ever dealt with in my life), is pleasant, has communicated with us regularly and kept us informed as we awaited arrival of our new Edge, and has answered every question we had. Berge Ford is absolutely a great dealership.

Horrible experience. Salesperson was a huge jerk on phone, and even more unfriendly in person. wasted my time. stay away from berge ford. They offered less than half what other dealers offered for my trade, insulted my wife, were very rude, and wasted our time by walking away and talking to the sales manager for 20 minutes just to come back and be rude.

I brought my 06 Mustang in for service after looking for a good change from Earnhardt's Ford. I had a laundry list of things that needed to get done, however most were minor, and many were intermittent. The big ones were the check engine light kept coming on and the engine was stubmling on acceleration and the convertible top was separating from the back glass. I expected to not have the car back for a couple of days. Day 1, they call me up in the afternoon and tell me that they were just getting to service the vehicle and it looked like it would need a new top, but the service manager would have to look at it. Day 2, they call me in the afternoon and inform me that they need parts and will have to order them it could be up to two more days. Four days later I still haven't heard from them. Weekend comes and goes (no car for six days now). Day 7, I receive a card in the mail from their parts department saying my parts were in (3 days prior to me getting the card). Day 8, I call and ask them about my car, the service advisor is shocked to hear from me because he thought I picked it up. What?? They still had the car but weren't working on it. They put on some of the parts on day 8 but said they needed another day to put the top on and they couldn't get the check engine light to come on and it wasn't setting a permanent code. Day 9, I get a call in the morning saying the car was out at their trim shop having the top replaced. Later that afternoon I called and they said it would be done. I go down and they bring the car around, I look inside and the the car is filthy, grease handprints on the upholstery, staples (from the top) littered the floor, dirt and grime on just about every plastic surface. The outside of the car also had dirty handprints and a new scratch on the convertible top moulding and the back glass no longer has the dealer installed tint. I inform my service advisor about the problems and he comes over with a small bottle of cleaner and tries to clean the car while I wait. After about 20 minutes of watching him make the mess work I tell him to stop, he tells me to make an appointment to get the other items taken care of, and I take the car as it is. As I am driving home, the check engine light comes on again (literally as I pull out of their lot). The next day I called and complained about my service to who I thought was the general manager, but he turned out to be the gm from sales. He says he will take care of me and sure enough, I get a call from the service manager, he tells me to bring the car in to get the items taken care of and offers me a courtesy car while they are working on it. I bring it back this time the car has now "magically" set a permanent code and they replace the throttle body and few other components, they get the tint on and replace the scratched moulding. They "detail" the car, but that is their term for spraying sticky gooey glossy stuff on all the plastic and vacuuming the car. This process took another two days. The bad is obvious, but they at least tried to make up for their shortcomings, still will never bring my car there again.
