Alex is simply AMAZING! If you’re looking for a great car, great price and excellent customer service…you’ve reached the right place! I usually do not do reviews but after my husband and my experience with Alex today there was no way I couldn’t. This man is very helpful and treats you like family from the get go! The whole office is great! I’m so excited we found Best Buy Auto Plaza! Take it from me if you do not want to be sitting in a dealership all day, want great prices and service please go here. They have some great cars and I promise you will not regret it!!! Extremely happy customer!!

My experience is something I hope helps prospective buyers in dealing with this dealership. I bought a used BMW X5 with the understanding that certain repairs had already been done (with receipts/invoices). One repair had yet to have the invoice sent at the time of purchase and I was told that would be emailed to me (which I never received). Only a couple days after purchase, I noticed a large oil stain in my driveway where the car was parked. Now, the car has an outstanding recall so I took it to the dealership to have it done and have a multi-point inspection to check on the oil leak. Upon inspection, the dealership informed me that the transmission/transfer case repair (the invoice I never received) was done incorrectly and the repair would be $8k (oil pan gasket and rear main seal were both damaged due to this negligence). This damage was done because of shoddy workmanship from the mechanic they use (he did not properly line up/seal the transmission when reinstalling). They claim they didn't do work in this area...although the car has no other recorded transmission/transfer case repair in its history. There is video evidence of missing and stripped bolts from the transmission. This is far from my first German car and I know these repair bills are exorbitant. I am prepared to eat that, also knowing I bought the car "as is" because I know these cars are expensive to maintain. The dealer made sure to point out to me though that they always made sure the cars they sold were road ready and free of major defects. This was obviously a lie. There were two options from this point. One, take the car back and have the repair done by their mechanic. The dealer and mechanic said they would do this for $800 total...of which the dealer would pay half. This was not an option I'd (or any reasonable person, for that matter) consider acceptable since their work is what caused this damage in the first place. I certainly am not trusting the car in their hands again. Not to mention, I cannot imagine a repair of this magnitude being completed for $800. The labor involves dropping the transmission; it is very time-intensive. No mechanic would complete this for that price, further indicating the lack of knowledge the mechanic this dealer uses actually has. The dealer tried to explain they made no money on the sale, but there are certain instances that as a business, you pay for your reputation and do right by the customer. Best Buy did not want to do that. The dealer told me in our conversation it "was of no benefit" for me to post this review since it hurt their business. Of course there's no benefit for me considering the additional costs with which I was burdened. There is benefit to all of you reading this though. They simply ended up sending a check for $400 (their half) to me in the mail since they believe that's all the repair would have cost. Lastly, for anyone wondering, I have proof of everything in this review and am happy to share so you do not go through the same thing. This proof includes video recordings of the negligent repair work. I don't want them replying with a disingenuous message that I'm lying and/or they did nothing wrong. I caution anyone who wants to purchase a car from this dealership. They are untrustworthy and their preferred mechanic actively causes damage to vehicles due to laziness and a lack of knowledge. It is difficult to trust the condition of a single vehicle on their lot given their choice of mechanics. While the dealer seemed remorseful, it was still a complete abdication of real customer service for such a glaring omission. I urge you to save your hard earned time and money by looking elsewhere for your used car needs. EDIT: In response to the owner, why would anyone trust your mechanic with the car, warranty or not? No trust. Also, the conversation was recorded (Texas is a one-party consent state), the owner did not offer to pay for the entire repair, only their half. You never asked for the receipt to my repair; it was ongoing at the time of our conversation. Already stated I am happy to share.

Just happened to pass by and saw a car we were interested in sitting up front. After speaking with Alex, we decided to purchase and it was hassle free. Got a great deal, the car is amazing and we were in and out in a very reasonable timeframe. No sitting around all day waiting. I highly recommend this dealership if you’re in the market for a good car.

I purchased a 2009 SUV today and am satisfied with the vehicle as well as the experience. I test drove twice. The first ride was okay, but there was a sensor & tire pressure light on the dashboard that concerned me. After mentioning it to Alex they were able to test the sensors and replace what needed to be replaced. I also mentioned that the battery in the keyless entry remote was dead and they replaced it as well. A few hours later I returned to test drive again after the sensor & tire pressure had been resolved. I decided to go ahead and make the purchase because the vehicle looks good, rides well and was within my budget. The paperwork process was fast and easy, Alex addressed my extended warranty concerns, and I was surprised to find out that they even accept payments by debit card, which was more convenient for me. The vehicle was literally on empty, so I asked if they would be filling the tank. Alex said they don't usually fill the tank, but he did give me a half tank. If they had given me a full tank I would have left a 5-star review. Overall though, I am a satisfied customer and recommend this business.
