After dealing with a number of car dealers in the Portland area my wife and I settled on Bill Dodge Kia of Westbrook to make our purchase. The salesman we worked with, Don, was a great change of pace from all of the others we had seen. He allowed us to take our time. At no point did we feel pressured to make a purchase on the spot (something we felt pressured to do at almost every other dealership we went to). The entire process from start to finish was low key and actually enjoyable. I would recommend them to anyone that I knew that was looking to make a new car purchase.

After making an appointment to test drive a 2012 Kia Soul I discovered my VW would not start. I called the salesman, Brian Oleson, who offered to come to my house to pick me up. He also jumpstarted my car and drove it to the dealership for an estimate on trading it in. I purchased the Kia and found everyone I dealt with to be friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this Dealership to my friends.

This happened 3 years ago, but I strongly feel the need to pass on my experience with the Service Department of Bill Dodge Kia of Westbrook. I drive professionally for a regional transportation service. I put a lot of miles on my vehicles and need frequent oil changes. I had a $10 discount coupon for an oil change at specialty service shop just around the corner from Bill Dodge Kia. Since the shop was very busy, I agreed to have them call BDK to have them do the work. I arrived, gave the man my keys, and took a seat with about 1 1/2 hours before my next scheduled client pickup. I started to become uneasy after an hour. I stuck my head in the shop and noticed my car on the lift so I sat down again. 20 minuets later, I looked again, and my car was still on the lift! I mentioned my situation to the man, and he went into the garage area. He returned and told me it would be "just a few more minuets". Now I ask you - How long does it take to do an oil change? By the time my car was ready, nearly 2 hours had gone by and I was late for my next pickup. But here's the real kicker! They tried to charge me over $50 for an oil change! I was livid! I nearly went through the roof as I exploded in front of other customers, but I didn't care. I had paid less than $30 for my previous change and this time I had a discount coupon! They finally reduced the charge to $38 but that was still the most expensive oil change I've ever had for non-synthetic oil. If you choose to buy a Kia from Bill Dodge of Westbrook, that's your business. However, you should think twice before trusting their Service Department. Get it in writing first!!! A Kia may be a good car, but I'll never buy one...

My wife, Jenn, and I stopped in to just see what they had available, don't all sellers say that? Jim Craves, sales associate, met us and answered all questions we had. He found the car we were looking for and then shocked us when he not only set our mind at ease but met the price we wanted. We were pretty much flabbergasted. The sales process was smooth and 2 hours later we walked out the door with a brand new optima. I cannot say enough good things about Jim, Bill Dodge Kia and the whole process. They made a new customer for life.

I had always thought that I would be the last person to ever consider leasing a new car, until I accompanied a family member to Bill Dodge Kia when she leased a 2014 Kia Sorento. The lease agreement was nothing like the "old days", when car leases were just North of larceny. I was so impressed that I leased the same model the next day. Sales tech Peter Thibault was well informed, personable, and extremely patient. We had many questions, all of which were answered to our satisfaction. I returned 3 weeks after accepting the car (with no appointment) with a few more questions and Peter still treated me like a V.I.P. Absolutely worth a visit!

I have been very happy with Bill Dodge Kia over the last 3 years. I have purchased 2 vehicles from their Westbrook location and both from Todd Visser. In both dealings with Todd for sales he has exceeded expectations. I am pretty precise as to what I was looking for in a vehicle all the way down to color of exterior, and interior and not with a huge monthly budget. Todd was able to find me not only 1 vehicle, but a second that fit my style and personality. In both sales he has been a tremendous help making sure that It was a perfect fit and that it was something I was going to be 100% happy with. He isnt just about selling the vehicle though; when I go in for service to my vehicle he is there and is willing to chat and make sure that I am still happy, make sure the vehicle is still going great and meeting all the needs and expectations I had. He has done a tremendous job both times and any time a friend or family member mentions getting a new vehicle I tell them to go to Bill Dodge Kia in Westbrook.

I have done business with Bill Dodge Kia for years now, and I have to say that time and time again they fail to maintain a high level of customer service. I believe that they are full of empty promises and once you leave the lot, you are leaving any piece of customer service behind. I find that their follow through is terrible and when you do get into a situation in the near future such as a vehicle breaking down shortly after purchase, you will get little to no help from this dealership.I STRONGLY encourage you to seek out Rowe Kia in Auburn, ME before purchasing from this dealer. I have seen the signficant lack of customer service from this sales team first hand, and believe me when I say that it is not an isolated issue.

One of my first purchases at this dealership back in 2009 was a Saturn. Now since Saturn is gone I have moved onto the 2012 KIA Rio5 and love the car! John Conover has worked with me on both of these purchases and I do not see my going anywhere else for buying a car...I have no reason! I have found the easiest, friendliest, unstressful car buying dealer I've ever dealt with (that's saying a lot w/ my history of car buying). The service dept. is just as awesome as the sales group. Friendly, accomodating, educational and fair. I don't feel 'persued' when I enter the lot, which is excellent because I hate the swooping sales types who don't give you a chance to just browse. My questions were answered and they don't make you feel like an idiot if you ask questions. They also respect a well educated person when they walk in and know more about the car than the dealer! I study cars before I purchase them it takes a lot of time and when I go in I want them to know I know what I'm looking for and what I am willing to pay. John worked w/ me to find what I wanted specifically and he and the finance dept worked to get me into this car with the price I was willing to pay. I absolutely recommend shopping here and servicing your vehicles here. Very community oriented and super friendly. Best part is John is very active in following up with me on any questions and when I visit he takes extra time to say hello and he recognizes me by sight. Love this!

The dealership is very welcoming and not high pressure. Several of our relatives have purchased vehicles from Bill Dodge so we knew they were reputable. John was a very "in the moment" sales rep. He moved with us from used car to used car, then on to the topic of leasing. Even though it was not his strength, John helped us understand the Kia lease program and with the help of Bob, we were able to match our payment needs with a brand new Kia. The team of people who helped us to make our purchase at Bill Dodge were exceptionally accommodating. Without being overbearing, they fully answered all our questions, competently researching anything they were unsure of. Not having an Elantra in their inventory, they ordered us the car we wanted, and afterward, when we changed our minds, they didn't seem the least bit offended. In the meantime, we found a very competitively priced Kia Optima at a different dealership, and because Bill Dodge didn't have the same model on hand, were about to make our purchase elsewhere. Lori, however, worked a little magic, found the same car in New Hampshire, and was able to get it to us in two days. We love our car, believe we got an extraordinary bargain, and were more than satisfied with the service at Bill Dodge.

I bought my first Kia back in 2007 and it was a great purchase. Love the Kia brand itself. So, when it came time for my wife to get a new car we went back to Kia because we had been so pleased with mine. We picked the one she wanted and started the paperwork. 4 monthes later, and we are still doing paperwork. The dealer sold us the wrong car/vin#!! The day we "bought" this car, the finace representitve flew through everything and did not really listen to our questions and forgot to collect our downpayment and our ID's, and once he was done, him not us, he left, like locked the door and turned off the lights and went home. Meanwhile we are still in the parking lot getting it insured. So they had us come back in a few days later when they relized their mistake, to resign all the documents again, fine, annoying but fine. Then, we get a call a week or so later saying we needed to come back in and do it again because something happened with the paperwork and it needed to be redone. So we were very frustrated at that point and explained to the account manager this. I mean if my wife had been pulled over they could have arrested her since the VIN didn't match. If she had been in an accident, dealing with the insurance would have been a nightmare, since we had insured the VIN#, they had given us, which was wrong. He apologized and was willing to throw in a few features to try to make us happier. So, ok, we filled the forms out and felt a little better, but that excitment of getting a new car had already been extremely dampened and now we were just hoping it was over and done with. Now, 4 monthes after our purchase, we get a call saying they are still having issues with the paperwork and need us to to fill out more paperwork since the Original VIN#/car they recorded that they sold us is still somehow tied to us. Looking at the paperwork and they want us to sign a title as the seller of a car we have never owned as well as a number of others. I will not buy another car from this dealer. I love getting my car serviced there, they have been great in that deptartment but I have no confidence in the sales department. Not to mention that while I was getting my kia inspected, waiting in the waiting room, I can hear the sales staff making fun of customers. I was not the only customer sitting there but how innapropriate to make fun of customers where other customers can hear you. I will also be sending this message to KIA itself, so they can be aware of the face that is selling their cars and the image they are putting out there.

I have had two different issues with my Rissistall coverage. One paint damaged do to chemical. Chade address the problesm with Ressistall when I was unable to. The problem was taken care of. The second was a worn hole in my Front driver sidefloor mat, I have never had a floor mat ware out. Also rear mat was stained an I was unable to steam clean it out. Chad took the time to fill out the paper work and before I left the dealer ship there were new floor mats in my car. I am one to take care of my cars. We have a KIA Amanti and enjoy the car, We have recived many postive remarks on the Kia. This Kia will have been my 5th car from Bill Dodge. Thank-YouLes Holmes

I was greeted right away, but the laidback sales approach made me feel comfortable so I stuck around and test drove the Soul, Rondo, Sportage and Sorrento (I was like Goldie Locks, trying to find the one that was "just right".) John let me feel like I was running the show until I was ready to make some decisions. Then he helped me understand the differences between each model by reminding me of the pros/cons of each model based on my particular needs - I could tell he had been listening to me all morning. To make a long story short, I bought the Sorrento. John made a more expensive sale, because I felt free to explore all the models without pressure from him. I left with the vehicle that met my needs, that I loved and at what I believe to be a fair price.After all my research and such a great shopping experieice I am a big fan of KIA and Bill Dodge Kia, Westbrook, Maine!Sincerely,Michelle

Hi,We worked with the financing with Charlie Burns after having a GREAT experience purchasing a used car. Since Charlie lives in the same town as us, he offered to switch vehicles with us if it was more convenient for us to have our car taken in for service by him. Three months after we bought the car, it was time for basic service. Charlie switched with us, made the switch conveninet and we got the work done with no disruption to our lives. Garry Conner was friendly and helpful. He listened to what I was looking for in a car and steered me away from two cars that had questionable Carfax reports. After the deal was closed he gave me another review of the car (a 2010 KIA Forte) and introduced me to the service team. I felt like I was more than just a commission to him.Bob Houp was patient, courteous, and professional. He let me take one car home overnight and although I didn't buy that car, I didn't feel like he was irritated about it. When I finally settled on a model and we negotiated the price I walked out/drove off feeling like we'd both won. It was a good feeling. I highly recommend either of these gentlemen to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

I would stronly recommend Bill Dodge. Gary Cheney is an exceptional salesman, he was very pleasant and accomodating. Everyone we dealt with was there to meet our needs, they were not pushy. I went in several times before I bought the vehicle. Gary called me once at home. He did not overstep or become too much of a salesperson- he let us buy the vehicle when we were ready. He was very knowleable. We are happy with the new truck we bought at Bill Dodge.

This is my second vehicle in a row from Bill Dodge KIA. I would highly recommend them to anyone. My credit was sub par, and another dealership sent me out the door as a result. Bill Dodge worked with me, and gave me suggestions on how best to rebuild my credit rating; while finding me a great car at a great price. Every time i go in i am always greeted promptly and with a smile i have only a few issues with my new kia that i love very much its my first brand new car, the issues that i have had have been addressed in a timely fashion. Last week my car was shot at yes shot at and it has a small bullet in the trunk and the body shop guy Ryan Labee came out and did a estimate with in minutes and it will be going in to be fixed next week. I also am having trouble with my doors locking when they feel like and Mike Saucier told me there is a bulletin for it and they have ordered me the part. when ever i drop my car off i receive a shuttle ride to work and then they pick me up when my car is done i think that is a great services.
