Dusty Harrison at BMW of Ann Arbor service department has been one of the best people to do business with. He's taken care of all the vehicles in my whole family for as long as I can remember. Not once have we had any issues with his services and he's always gone the extra mile to take care of me and my family. The fact that he lets me borrow a loaner car is a tremendous service and it makes it much easier for me to get my car serviced. He's very honest and will always give you the best advice in regards to anything concerning your vehicle. On top of all this, he's an amazing person who treats me like family creating a meaningful and memorable encounter. Working with him has given me a lot of peace of mind and has been a very enjoyable experience. He always works around my schedule and services my car in a timely manner. Overall, the people at BMW of Ann Arbor are honest, friendly, and always provide excellent service. They follow up and thoroughly explain the service they will be providing to my vehicle. Dusty let me know everything that was going on with my car in a very timely and professional manner. The whole service experience was great from start to finish as Dusty was very professional, detailed, and went above and beyond when servicing my car. I would highly recommend Dusty as your go to person at BMW.

As an autistic adult, I try and help (as best I know how) those who are non verbal or have other disabilities leading them to possibly suffer worse from problems like my experience. After reading the owners reply, I not only was made to feel so much better that there ARE people who are understanding, but my feelings were validated. Thank you to the owner and I hope more people understand the disability lanyard to help those I'm trying to help. This was the BEST response I have ever received from a business owner I did a review on. Because of the understanding now on both mine and the owners parts, I have changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars. I will return again soon randomly in hopes that my experience will be as great as I feel it will be after reading the response. Thank you to those who understand! ----- How I felt at the time review (Had to get a part for my BMW, so I thought I would take photos too. I am autistic and I like photographing cars. I always ask beforehand, but the man I asked was rude and looked mad. After talking for 6 minutes he said "I don't care" and I took a few. Did not buy the part and will never go back. Confrontation like that is difficult and I had my invisible disabilities lanyard on. I will go out of my way to avoid the dealership now. Do not recommend at all for disabled people.)

Owning three BMWs I have had many "interactions" with BMW of Ann Arbor and especially with service adviser Dusty. Every service was performed very well and I was always fully satisfied. Let me add that I build track cars, have a hoist in my home garage, am a technical moderator on a 250,000 member car forum and even rebuild engines and transmissions. Even with my mechanical ability, I still often bring my BMWs to Dusty because they can often service it faster and cheaper than I can. Heck they even reconditioned a set of non-factory Brembo racing brake rotors.I am a perfectionist in the work I do and I have always found that their mechanics are equally perfection oriented.Dusty is clearly a car guy who is super enthusiastic and genuinely excited about getting each and every car serviced correctly. And always honest about those items which really need fixing and those that can wait.In short, you can trust Dusty to get your BMW services exactly as he would his own car.

Although we ended up not doing business, this was probably my most pleasant dealer experience in the last few years. Nick was a great CA, presenting the features of the i3 during the test drive and tried to locate the car nationwide to match our exact specs.In fact, out first contact came from Jennifer Reeve, who tried to know our needs. We had a VIP appointment scheduled and, as our CA was not available due to another unscheduled client, we were put to work with Nick, who was really nice. We were also greeted by Bryan who briefly explained the process. At not time we felt pushed to purchase the car. And, in the end, they came with a great offer, basically achieving our target price. Unfortunately, due other reasons not related to the dealership, we did not go for the i3. But I will definitely come back for my main car replacement in 2017.

I was having difficulties finding a vehicle over the weekend, yet made my first and happily last search stop at the BMW of Ann Arbor Saturday morning. I knew which car I wanted, and this dealership had it at a very fair price. With low miles, and a great touch up on the exterior and interior, I was happy to pay the price for my Honda CRV. The previous owner of my vehicle also left in the car weather guard protection pads for the floor surface in the vehicle, and that was a blessing in disguise. This is coming from the perspective of a SURE buyer: Outside of my purchase, the customer service was excellent. My sales representative, Justin Fagan, went above and beyond to ensure I obtained and drove off with the vehicle of my choosing. I had a Zipcar rental that was on a time period for return, and Justin not only escorted me in returning my rental, but also brought me back to the dealership to complete my purchase. With refreshments to keep me at bay, and a full tank of gas in my new CRV, I have no regrets with my pre-owned automobile. If I ever need a new vehicle in the future, the BMW of Ann arbor is for sure on my list of places to visit.

I had an exceptional experience w/Client Advisor Sean Kettlewell when searching to purchase a new BMW. I am a BMW driver since purchasing my first vehicle in 1999. This was my 3rd new BMW purchase and hands down, by far, it was my BEST encounter with ANY Client Advisor ever as a result of Sean. He was patient, NO pressure, knowledgable and intent on listening to my broad interests, in order to identify the vehicle that suited my needs and wants fully/ideally. While I can't comment too much on the dealership as I decided to purchase a "fleet car', and this Ann Arbor BMW dealer did not have a white 228xi immediately available, it was Sean's time and guidance that enabled me to choose the PERFECT BMW for me. He discussed/compared in appropriate detail, multiple models, (228xi, 428xi, 320xi, 328xi), and as a result, I was able to choose the BMW that suited me best. During the process, I realized I needed a vehicle sooner, rather than later, so while I wish more than ever that I could have purchased from Sean, another dealer had the car on lot. Bottom Line...Sean Kettlewell is the Client Advisor/advocate, w/whom YOU want to work, at Ann Arbor BMW. THANK YOU so much Sean for your kindness and expertise in my BMW buying process!

Alex Upshur provided a welcome improvement in my experiences with automobile salespeople, both for what he did, and what he didn't do. Alex was both welcoming and professional. When he asked which model I was interested in, he was unfazed when I responded with an in-demand model that he almost certainly would not have (and did not have) in stock. He DID NOT try to convince me that I'd really be happier with something he happened to have on the lot. Instead, we had a lengthy exchange regarding my purchase objectives, during which he displayed good product knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for the BMW line, which (sadly) is has not always been my experience with other brands & dealerships. I accepted a test drive in a lesser model, which Alex offered knowing full well that I was unlikely to purchase that car. If the object of my desires does become available, I will almost certainly be purchasing a vehicle from Alex!

I have never worked with anyone in car sales that knew the product they were selling better than Mo did. Mo's knowledge of BMW's was very impressive. I was checking out a used X3 with the M-Sport package (looks real nice), and Andrew Hueter did a great job of demoing the vehicle and representing his dealership. The new management must be doing something right at BMW of Ann Arbor. Andrew really knows his stuff on the technical side, which I love as a gear head, and he's got a great natural conversational approach. Honestly, one of my better sales interactions. I didn't make an offer or buy a vehicle, but next time I'm ready to buy, I will definitely give Andrew and his team a shot at my business! This dealership works hard to earn your business. In particular, our experience working with Sean was superb. My wife and I were shopping for a car for her, and he reviewed multiple options with us in detail and helped us test drive several models to meet her needs. He was easy to work with with a no pressure, honest, and down to earth style. His follow up was excellent with phone calls and emails, answering all our questions, but was not pushy. My wife commented several times how she had a good buying experience. Highly recommended. I showed up for the winter service event late last year (2015) and while my M Roadster and e39 were being serviced Luke took time out of his schedule and we talked BMWs for a while. I felt like I had walked into a place where BMWs are a passion and definitely felt welcome. He let me get into the cars (even the i8) and showed me every single new feature> Very Knowledgeable. Alex Upshur from the Sales Team is far and away the best car salesman I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Alex was not only polite, but he was incredibly knowledgeable about their vehicles as well. I do a lot of research before I even visit a dealership, so more often than not, I know more about the vehicle I'm interested in than the people selling me the car. In this instance however, Alex was the exception to the rule. He knew the vehicle inside and out, and showed me things I was completely oblivious to. Alex was also very accommodating to my schedule, and my budget. Buying a car can be a painful, confusing roller coaster full of anxiety and anguish, but Alex at BMW of Ann Arbor made it fun and easy. I will definitely be back in the future, and would recommend him to ANYONE looking for their next car.

From the moment we arrived Alex Upshur made our car buying experience perfect. We had called before going to BMW and gave him an idea of what we were looking for and when we got there he had already brought an x3 up front for us to test drive. WE LOVED IT! Alex knows about his product. My husband wanted to test drive a 5 series and loved that too. We didn't feel rushed or pressured. Alex was kind, considerate and answered all our questions patiently. The whole process from start to finish was awesome. We highly recommend that you go see Alex and see the great vehicles he has to show you. We think you will love to take one home with you! Justin was great to work with. He was patient with all of my questions and multiple visits. I did not get the BMW SUV as I liked a competitor's features better. I felt that the management did not take me seriously with the numbers I had from competitors. They moved the numbers, but not to a realist level.

My wife and I were in the market for a SUV. We were debating between the Audi Q5 and the BMW X3. Alex Upshur was the sales man we talked to. There are not enough good things I can say about Alex. He is the definition of service. Alex spent a easy two hours with us test driving and explaining the car. We never felt pushed to make a decision. It felt that Alex thought it was more important for us to understand what we were looking to buy then whether we were going to actually buy the car. Because of it, it is our feeling that Alex hands down has been one of the best car sales men we dealt with. The team,as well, was great. Mo Beidoun helped out as well. We stopped in the dealer ship and Alex was with a customer. Mo introduced himself and spent time with us answering our questions and making sure we were taken care of until Alex was free. All and all it was a great experance. I will be back to see Alex for my next car.

Finance person never got back to me about extended warranties when I first got my car.Service is hard to reach by phone, even when you leave a message with your number. Once you do get in touch they are genuinely polite. They are pretty relaxed about giving out loaners and shuttle service in their i3's is convenient. One time my check engine light went on. It took 2 days of repeatedly calling two different people and setting up online to get an appointment. It was an error with a NOx sensor. This is related to a design defect on diesel BMW's that can lead to injectors and the DDE failing. That can cost quite a bit of money. Their solution was to erase the error code and see if it happens again, which buys them time for my warranty to run out and take on the ~$4000 repair by myself.

Made an appointment, arrived early and took a walk to a diner down the street. For over a year we had water leaking onto the forward floor on both the driver and passenger side. The problem, which involved a broken drain tube from the sunroof, was repaired in one day and we have not had any more leakage, despite some heavy rainfall. Dusty called me at 3:30 on a Friday telling me that my car was all set. He asked me if I needed a ride back to the dealership. When I said I did, and told him I was available to go at any time he told me he would call me back. I called the dealership at 5:30, a half-hour before they closed, because I was concerned that I had not heard back from them. They said they could pick me up but not before I gave them payment over the phone.I refused as I told them I would not give payment until I saw my invoice. Needless to say they finally picked me up at 6:30 and I did not return to the dealership until about 7:00 PM.When I told Dusty that a courtesy phone call would have gone a long way, he told me that he planned to call me, but that he was swamped and couldn't make a call. I also found his explanation that they were swamped unbelievable, as I was the only customer who they picked up after 5:30, and I told him so.I also spoke to Mark Wade during this time and I stated that I found it very concerning that they treated customers this way. Mark told me that they did not treat customers that way, and I retorted that I was a customer and I was being treated poorly, which Mark had no reply for.All in all, a horrible experience. I have used BMW of Ann Arbor before, but after this encounter I will never go back to this dealership or service center again!

Even though we dropped by at a super busy time on a Saturday afternoon two days before memorial day (and that just to look around!) our sales professional, Mo Beidoun, went the extra mile to please us. I traveled from out of state to buy a car from here and the salesman told me I should come at a certain time and should be out in less than an hour, since we had already agreed on a used car and I was paying cash. I had also told them that I did not have much time as the drive alone was more than a couple of hours each way. Once I got there, it was one thing after another of delaying tactics, as they had only one finance clerk who could only see one customer at a time. I waited for nearly three hours for a literally 10 minute transaction. I also felt that the manager was cocky, who eventually apologized when I complained and offered me a free car wash in future knowing that I was from out of town.

I moved from California and had excellent service at the Santa Monica BMW, but Ann Arbor BMW has exceeded any and all of my expectations. This is in large part due to my interactions with Dereck West. I have had my car serviced over 5 times this past year and only ask to be with Dereck. He is very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, accommodating and trustworthy. He works with your schedule and with your price range to help you out as much as possible. Being 61 I was looking for my "last new car" so I wanted it to be exactly correct. As such I spent several months asking questions and researching. During this time my advisor, Alex Upshur, and the sales manager were very patient telling me to take my time and they were there to help me in any way while I was making my decision. I was never given the "high pressure". I decided to use the European Delivery program and it was a fabulous experience. Just like in the movies when I arrived at the Munich airport a chauffer in a black suit met me holding a placard with my name. My free ride to the BMW recommended hotel was in a 740I. (By the way, the hotel was a quick walk to the old Munich city center with loads of shopping and great restaurants and, it being December, the outdoor Christmas markets.) The next day it was a 5 minute walk to the subway for a quick ride to the BMW Welt which was just next to the subway station. I went to the third floor where a pretty blue eyed blond German woman who spoke perfect English did the paperwork. I then went to the lounge where there were free pastries, cold cuts, hot brotwurst and of course beer. Soon I met my delivery gentleman who took me to a vehicle simulator for instructions on the safety features. From there we walked onto a balcony and two floors below was my 335ix GT on a turntable with a spot light on it. We walked down to the vehicle where I was given further information and was photographed next to my new vehicle. I was given a memory stick with photos of the BMW Welt and my delivery experience and vouchers for an engraved key fob, entry to the BMW museum, the factory tour, and a 10 euro credit toward a purchase in the BMW shop. The next day I toured the factory and the museum. All the paperwork and delivery to BMW of Ann Arbor went off without a hitch. It was a very excellent experience which I can heartily recommend.

After researching and test driving a number of mid-size SUVs, the BMW X3 moved to the top of the list - especially because of the knowledge and support from our sales agent, Alex Upshur. He seemed to understand just what we were looking for and was able to answer all of our questions about the new technologies and comforts (a lot to learn because our current vehicle is 12 yrs old). He offered a great price for my Jeep Grand Cherokee, which I absolutely love. He was very patient with me, even while I went out to look at different cars. When I came back to purchase it, the process was very simple and everything was done right then and there! Even after paying my very first car payment I have no regrets and am still just as happy with my purchase as the day I made it. Alex also went above and beyond, as we realized only one set of keys had been turned in with the vehicle. He took the time to contact the previous owner to get the second set of keys for me. This was my first time purchasing a car. Alex was very helpful and not pushy at all like so many other car salesmen. He answered any questions I had and I never felt pressured. He offered a great price for my Jeep Grand Cherokee, which I absolutely love. He was very patient with me, even while I went out to look at different cars. When I came back to purchase it, the process was very simple and everything was done right then and there! Even after paying my very first car payment I have no regrets and am still just as happy with my purchase as the day I made it. I came to A2 BMW to ask a few questions about a used 08' 328xi I was thinking about purchasing in a private sale by owner. As soon as I walked in the door Jill woods greeted me kindly! with no xxxxxxxxx as I am a young man that to say the least dose not look the part to be in the market for a BMW haha. She answered my questions and even took me to the matinence department too get awnsers on my concerns about cluch life and cost of replacement in a used manual car. No bs the exact awnsers I'm looking for, and kind staff also in that department. Then I asked Jill if they had any comparable cars in value to the one I was looking at. She showed me an 09' 328xi manual.. Almost the same car I wanted.. And it was less price than the other one I had intrest in. She took me on a test drive and was patient with me as I got used to the veicle and awnserd all my questions. I loved the car! Left to think a bit and called back with an offer, they considerd it respectfully and gave me a counter offer that was reasonable.done deal bought the car that day!! I took our pre-owned 2007 328xi coupe in for an oil change and an oil leak. We own a special emissions car that was originally sold in a SULEV state (meaning a state that has extremely high emission laws. These cars have a special warranty on certain parts that extend past the basic 48 month/50k mike warranty. Even though MI dealers do not deal with many of these cars Derek and Mark handled it in a very professional with top notch customer service in mind. They were able to get the repairs covered under the warranty and were extremely efficient in doing so. I would highly recommend BMW of Ann Arbor for any service needs. When we decide to trade in our 2012 Mercedes for a BMW I will report on our purchase experience but I can only imagine it will be just as enjoyable as our service experience!

I initially met Alex by chance looking through the Ann Arbor BMW car lot for a high quality, good value car to replace my wife's 12 year old Volvo. As luck would have it, Alex came out to help. He was unassumingly present, knowledgeable and kind. There was not a moment of 'car salesman' in the experience. He was patient with questions and reassuring with answers. Within the week we purchased a wonderful 328i that my wife loves. I was so pleased with Alex's professionalism and kindness, I went to see him to look at the possibility of replacing my 10 year old Passat some time in the future. He guided me through a no-pressure tour of vehicle possibilities and options we both thought might suit my specific needs. When I told him I wasn't ready he just smiled and said he'd be there when I was. Only days later, the engine in my Passat gave out while driving at highway speeds, leaving me stranded roadside on a Friday afternoon of a long weekend. As I waited hours for a tow truck to arrive, I called Alex and told him my predicament. He said he just received a fully loaded, beautiful X3 that he felt would be perfect for me and would hold it until I could get there the following morning. I have now purchased two wonderful vehicles from Alex and my wife and I are thrilled with both our cars and most particularly the followup service and patient attention that Alex never seems to run short of. Although its not likely we will buy another car for quite a while, Alex's kindness, willingness to help every step of the way and professional demenor is one of the key reasons we are so happy with our purchases and look forward to continuing our relationship. I have twice been to BMW of Ann Arbor recently while researching what car I'd like to buy to replace my Porsche Boxster. On both occasions I was served by Eric Griffith. Based on my first experience with Eric, I returned to this dealership primarily to work with him. I found Eric to be friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about BMWs in general as well as the many options specific to a particular model. Through a number of visits, he was endlessly patient--listening to me, answering my questions, giving me all the time I needed to think about things and finally building the car that met my needs and wants. At delivery he spent a great deal more time setting up the satellite radio and navigation system and explaining all the "bells and whistles" to a somewhat technologically phobic senior citizen. I just bought my first BMW and had a great experience. I worked with Alex Upshur during the process. Alex did a great job of really helping me pick the right BMW for me. There was no pressure during the process, just a lot of great questions to help me decide which car I should buy. When it came time to actually purchase, it was hassle free. The sales manager, Lane was also great to work with. It wasn't your typical back and forth buying process. They made a solid first offer on my trade in and gave me a great price on my new 328i. The entire customer experience was awesome. They make you feel right at home and answer all of your questions. Even Nancy in the finance office was great. Typically, when you do into the finance office you are "sold" very hard on the "extras". Not the case with Nancy. Straight forward and the numbers stayed the same! Since buying the car 1 week ago, I received 2 follow up calls from Alex making sure everything is okay with the car, 1 email from the Sales Manager welcoming me to the family and just yesterday, a box of Godiva Chocolates as a thank you gift (my wife and kids loved them.) All in all, one of the best buying experiences I have ever had. I WILL be going back there for my next one!

We didn't wind up buying a BMW X3, deciding instead to buy the Acura RDX, but wanted to write to say that Alex Upshire was excellent to work with. We had a very bad experience at Yark BMW in Toledo, Ohio, and when I called Alex he was very cooperative, helpful, and informative. I located a 2011 Mazda Miata for sale at the BMW Ann Harbor dealership and called them for info and arranged my visit, a 4 hour drive in snowy conditions. Eric met me at 9:30 AMwith the car ready to go for a test drive, they had just received about 6" of snow and all the other cars were covered in snow. He had told me that the Miata was in excellent condition and that it was.I quickly decided to buy the car and before 12 noon I was on my way. The folks were friendly and responsive to my needs. They presented options on the purchase but did not push me to any particular decision. They worked as a coordinated team and although I came from a long distance the experience was was worth the drive. Darin followed up with a call and more followup on some technical issues

Lane explained everything nice and easy, maintained transparency with the deal, no fuss, great sense of humor and quality service as you would expect.Summer helped with documentation and Finance process, explained all benefits and other relevant information patiently and in details even though it was closing time for the dealership on a weekend day. Dave assisted with the final sign off procedure and car delivery. Walked me through the bells and whistles of the truck and with the follow up questions. My lease was up. I was encouraged to take a test drive and get $100 credit on my next purchase. I did that and enjoyed the brief test drive. Another more detailed test drive was done a few days later to go over the options in the car, BMW 328Xi. I selected the car which was a color I preferred. The new car would be ready in four days. My old car turn over was smooth. The paper work was smooth as well. My monthly lease payment is where I had hoped it would be.

I walked in asking about a specific Car that I saw on AutoTrader, at the begining, the sales man was so friendly, and sounded good, I took the car in test drive, and when it came to price negotiation, basically, he asked me how much do you pay and you now and get it so I told them what I thought, then the sales man went away and brought his manager, and the manager was so rude, he said that the prices are not negotiable and you will pay what it is listed for, and I was okay, thanks and I was about to leave and he started asking questions and where do have this price and you cant get a car for this price, and i told him from where, and he aas like noway, then he started looking the cars up and he found some cheaper cars with the same options, and he was like no, you can't find it at that price.After half an hour of him explaining that I can't get a same car cheaper that what this Car is listed for, THE WORST PART whs when I wanted to get my stuff from him, the Sales man has left already and he was like I do not know where they are, then I found it on the sales man (who has left without even we noticed that and we were sitting in the sales man office, and I had to go take my papers from his desk by myself.If the Manager does not know how to treat the potential customers then how do we expect that the sales men to be nice!!!I will not get a car from this dealer and I will not even recommend this dealer, even if the price is lower than the rest in the area!!!! I would Rather pay More but be treated the way that everybody else treats me.

Went in just looking and the Volvo I was driving was in excess of 200K miles. I test drove other vehicles and Darin was helpful through the whole process. Finally fell in love with a used 5 series wagon. Being an older man who is back in college for a degree money is tight but we managed to negotiate a rate that worked for all parties. I feel a lot better now that the wife has something both nice and reliable to drive. If I'm still in the area upon graduation I intend to come back for my next vehicle.

I somewhat recently brought in my 7 Series for maintenance and Dusty was my Service Advisor. He provided me with regular updates on my service, along with a detailed list/explanation of the needed repairs. Additionally, I planned on selling the car myself and he offered some great advice. I also had a 3 Series in for service and my experience with Dusty was very consistent with respect to my prior 7 Series visit. He even went the extra mile and personally buffed out a couple scratches for me.A couple years ago, prior to the new ownership, I had a less than desirable experience while attempting to buy a BMW at this dealership. My excellent experience with Dusty in Service brought me back to the dealership for another 3 Series purchase. It was his integrity and great customer service that prompted me to give the dealership another chance. I am also pleased to say this recent purchase was a great experience.

I was at the dealership for X3 model. I dealt with Alex who is a nice guy & gave me the time & needed information. I asked for test drive & the dealership said "NO" saying that they have no test vehicle to drive ( this really unbelievable ) Later I was called by Manager " Lane McEaney" & he said I can't take the final nos discussed ( documents ) out of the dealership. Those no's won't work because 2013 models cannot be ordered anymore. I don't understand then why were they given to me in the first place? The idea was to make my buy one of thier inventory cars.Lane was trying to sell me the vehicle right there by giving me some pep talk. I was not very comfortable so I just walked out. I wouldnt recommend this dealership. I stepped out & went to to other dealer & got my new car the same day.This dealership definitely needs to know & learn how to behave & talk with customers. Starting with Managers first.

Rob Gleyre did an excellent job of being attentive and delivering high quality customer service during my purchase. He recognized that I was coming in from 2 hours out of town and needed things to be organized and streamlined to help move the process along. I worked with Brenda in internet sales to get the figures in order before I showed up at the dealership, and Rob delivered a quality experience through delivery. A few days after the sale was complete there was an issue with the paperwork, and Rob personally drove 2 hours (each way) to have the new papers signed rather than putting me out to do so. I should also mention that the GM of sales, Lane, was committed to making everything right when I pointed out some issues with the figures. My only constructive criticism would be that each member of the team (internet, in-store sales rep, finance, and GM) be aware of all of the ins and outs of a particular deal rather than to have it all so compartmentalized. It would help make sure all of the figures and paperwork are aligned with what was communicated between various parties, e.g. customer and sales, and that nothing that was agreed to or promised gets overlooked. That being said, all around good teamwork and a job well done!

This is once again a first class operation and I will definitely return to purchase again from them. Alex Upshur is excellent, and knows his stuff, which is saying a lot as it is rare to find a sales associate who can discuss ( with knowledge) features, operation and performance of every car they might sell. Alex has done his homework, and answered every question I had relating to two cars I was looking at, and he was right in what he said. I recommend BMW of Ann Arbor as a hometown sales and service center you can rely on and feel at home at. That is a tall order these days but they do it every day. Past Sales Management was not friendly or very interested in my business after three year lease and was looking at other dealerships. Noticed new people in sales and went to meet them. Unfriendly would not describe it. The staff at this dealership needs to be trained in customer service, from the top down. From sales to service, you will not be treated as a valued customer....far from it. You are more likely to be treated as a pain in the butt. They don't want to sell or service cars, simply make money. They are decent on pricing. If you can stand the arrogance and lack of courtesy, then you will get a good price, but forget service....there is none.

Stuart made my first time car buying experience wonderful. After checking out other dealerships all day, my parents and I ended up at BMW of Ann Arbor toward closing time. I found a Volkswagen Jetta that I liked, but found out it had been sold. Stuart showed me other cars in my price range including cars that had not been put out on the lot yet. None of the other cars were right for me so we left, but gave him our phone number in-case he got anything in my price range. Less than 10 minutes later Stuart called and told us that the Volkswagen had not been sold after all. We went back and Stuart took time away from his family to stay past closing to fill out my paperwork. Stuart gave great customer service regardless of the fact that I was buying a $10,000 Volkswagen and not a $40,000 BMW.

His salesmanship was top notch, at no point did I feel pressured but he still managed to create a sense of urgency in me to buy the car. Darin Locks was one of the most personal car sales persons I have ever met. Usually in dealing with car sales people, I find them arrogant, condescending and only interested in one thing - a large commission check. This was not the case with Darin at all. Dusty Harrison and the folks at BMW of Ann Arbor made my service issue completely problem free. When I came in for my regular vehicle check, I pointed out that my TPM system was acting up. I told Dusty that, unless it's absolutely essential to the safe operation of the vehicle, I'd have to pass on getting it fixed or replaced that day. Dusty had the BMW of Ann Arbor mechanics look it over and it turned out that there was a wire that had loosened (on an '07 328i with almost 90k miles, that's not bad for the only thing I've needed repaired, too!) that needed to be replaced and the cost was FAR less than it could have been. I appreciate that kind of extra service and concern for their customer's costs. I gave the green light for the repair and it was ready within an hour. The service department at BMW of Ann Arbor have a great attitude and really made me feel like I was getting the best service possible at a competitive price. My vehicle runs great, got a clean bill of health, and left the shop clean and shiny!Thanks guys!

Dustin was helpful, a great communicator, and a pleasure to work with. I ultimately decided on a completely different type of car (luxury vs. sporty) and did not purchase from this dealership. However, I was utterly impressed with Dustin and the dealership and would recommend their consultative selling approach to anyone looking for a sporty import. Good people.

Though I am happy with the car, the Sales person, Dustin Johnson, is unethical, without integrity, and a liar. He has no problem lying to his customers, or managers. I will never do business with him or any dealership that employs him.

I purchased an 08 BMW 328xi approximately 2 months ago. I negotiated the deal with the general sales manager over the phone. Upon arrival to close the deal and I worked exclusively with Dustin Johnson. He was excellent. The GSM, however, was a bit deceptive in describing the vehicle and attempted to include a lower than agreed to trade in value on our sales agreement. I was told that the vehicle was cosmetically flawless by the GSM when negotiating the deal over the phone. Upon arrival I discovered a paint flaw in the hood, some interior damage to the trim panels and that 1 of the wheels had not been refurbished as advertised. The vehicle had just 37K miles. Nevertheless I worked out the deal but be forewarned if working with the GSM. Once again, DJ was excellent to work with.

Currently, i've been trying to purchase the used 2002 Bmw 325i from BMW of Ann Arbor, and been having issues with getting a loan big-enough to cover this car due to me not having any Credit History.I've never missed any payments in my life when it comes to oweing anyone including paying my rent on time. I make a steady income and everything i just dont have any credit history. Now I must say, I first tried getting a car at GMC on Washtenaw. I was there for 5 hours wating for them to tell me that they cant give me a car except maybe a used one they had priced at 7k that was old and beat up. The manager, basically told me that I wasnt gonna get anything better and made me feel like I was not worth his time.So i did some car searching and came across this beautiful bmw for $7,997 WAYY better than the busted up peice of jump GMC said I was worth. And I explained right away to (Dustin Johnson) that I did not have any credit history and offered $5,000.00 for the car. Even though the car could not be sold for anything lower than the marked price, he never turned me down or ignored me about wanting this car. He never made me feel i was not worth his time or anything. Hes even put the car on hold for me to find out my money situation when i saw others trying to get it. and has been nice and considerate the whole time.Fingers Crossed I get am able to come up with the rest of the money soon so that I dont keep him waiting and i can have my car that I feel I deserve.I just wanted to let everyone know that even if I am unable to get this car, I will always remember the service and respect hes given me.if you want a car from there I recommend speaking to Dustin JohnsonI should also add the car that I am trying to get drives like a beauty and has been kept in good condition. It feels brand new to touch and looks brand new.

I used BMW of Ann Arbor for nearly 7 years, both for regular maintenance and repairs. The price, service and courtesy was second to none, in my opinion. The skill of the mechanics is a bit variable (some are excellent and some are just okay), but everyone in the service department aims to please. Compared to dealers I've used in Calfornia, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Ohio, Illinois, these are are the best.

This store turns out to be related to the Mercedes of Ann Arbor and boy does it show. One of the first questions I got asked when looking at the 5 series was flat out "How can you afford this car?" While he did conduct a product demonstration and take me for a test drive, there is no way I'll be purchasing a car from them.
