This is the second X3 I've leased from BMW of Fort Myers. The car is fantastic, and so is the service they provide. My salesman, Walt, is great - he explains everything well, and once you select the car you want, he will have a group of people working on the car and the paperwork all at the same time, so the car is yours in a matter of a couple of hours. I went back the next day to have a technology session with Steve, their "Genius" (their name for their technology experts), and Steve showed me how all of the technology in the car works and how to manage it. This car is awesome! It drives like a dream, and the car responds to voice commands, so there is no distraction in pushing buttons while you drive. It has safety features that keep you safer than ever on the road! The facility is clean, all of the people are helpful and nice, and it doesn't end when you buy your car. They are just as nice and helpful when you go there for service. This is a GREAT place to buy a car!

I had a 7:30am appointment and I wasn't greeted until 7:50am. Not a sorry were late or anything. I had a slow leak in my tire and it took them over an hour to tell me I had a nail in my tire. The total experience was not very good.

have had better service at Fort Myers BMW. From the time I arrived it was not easy to have them except my warning light Diagnostic test coupon, first I was told that they had never heard of it, and then told it was just to check the codes. I had to look it up on the computer and finally was reluctantly honored. Once the car was diagnosed I was told that the car computer had to be reset for just only $350.00. Upon arriving at the dealership I had to look for someone to explain to me what cause this problem and was told it just happens. Alex was my prior advisor and ever since BMW change her position it is hard to get a competent advisor who is willing to explain and the reason behind the service. I am very disappointed with my vehicle this car is rarely used but seems to always be at the BMW dealership for repairs.JEF

Service starts with easy scheduling with reminders of your appointment. The staff is friendly from the start of your visit until you pull away when maintenance is completed. My appointment was for scheduled warranty maintenance and staff did not try to sell me on work that needed to get done that was not warranty work. That was much appreciated.

Made apt online over the Labor Day holiday weekend.Tuesday morning, had my vehicle towed to the dealership.Chad S. really was welcoming, and made sure I was checked-in without any issues.Had to keep the car overnight, so arranged a rental car quickly. Gave me his cell#, but he called with updates throughout the day, so never had to use it.Nice to find care washed and cleaned inside and out on arrive.A+ for Chad at Ft MyersBMW Service for his commitment and thoroughness!!!

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle, but can't help but wonder how I would have been treated if the purchase was new. I drove over 100 miles from Tampa to view the vehicle and purchased it the same day Cash. Two days later I drove back down with a one way rental to pick up my car. I was told there was no one available to pick me up so I reserved a one way rental car and had to take a cab from the rental facility. I wife called and spoke to the salesman who apologized, saying the dealership was very busy and they would do something for me, but could not send any one the 18 minutes to pick me up. My wife was upset at my treatment and left a message for a manager to call her. Five days later, we are still waiting for the call. Additionally I called the finance manager twice about my DMV Registration Tags and never received the courtesy of a return call. I can understand a salesman not leaving the floor and missing a sale, the promised gift I never received was not important. I could have been reimbursed for the cab fare?

I bought a car in June of this year. It is currently September 1st 2016 and I still don't have my plates and registration. I have been sent a second set of temp plates that expired on Aug 12th. Due to the temp plates being expired, the police towed and impounded my vehicle while being parked on a public street. I have been trying to contact the dealership since before Aug 12th, and keep getting the run around. They just keep transferring me to different voice mails until I get annoyed and hang up. Their customer service is horrible if you're an out-of-state buyer. It has been over 90 days and I still have yet to get my plates. Also, when purchasing this car, a 2000 z3, it was never mentioned that the only key that came with the car was a valet key. It doesn't even open my trunk because it isn't a master key. I went to my local BMW dealer to have a new key cut and they are unable to cut me one until I receive my registration. I haven't been able to use my trunk since I got the car. No one from customer service has reached out to me once since I purchased this vehicle!!! I keep calling and leaving messages and am not getting a response. If I had the opportunity to leave zero stars for this dealership, I would.

The prices are a bit high BUT, you are treated right. When you have an appointment the service rep is ready and prepared for your arrival and they work on the car immediately. They give you an accurate estimate of the time needed for your repairs and, if you are waiting, they keep you informed on the status. There are several different waiting areas including a large window where you can watch work being done in the shop. All in all a good experience.

I called to have my car service and get the recall fixed. I could never get them to answer the telephone. I finally just made an Appointment over the computer.I scheduled an appointment and asked for a call back to confirm that I needed a service and a recall. I never received a call back. I received an email confirming my appointment but no call back. I showed up to my appointment 20 minutes early and the service person they had assigned to my car was at lunch. They expected me to wait and said well you know he has to eat too and there was no one else there to help me. They also told me that the part was not in for the recall.

My 135i had to be towed in on a Saturday after closing.Shelia called me early Monday and and said is was my starter and it was covered under warranty. Two-and-a-half years ago, I had a very positive experience leasing a 2013 BMW 128i from BMW of Fort Myers. So, when I was ready to trade this car in for one with more safety features, I knew exactly where to go: I headed back up to Ft. Myers! It turns out that the salesman and new car sales manager with whom I dealt a couple of years ago have moved on to other dealerships. Fortunately, I remembered the name of the General Sales Manager (Chris Tuttle) whom I met back then and asked to see him. Chris immediately came out of his office and warmly greeted my wife and me. I explained what I was looking for (model, color, packages) and, within a few minutes, BMWs Genius (yes, that is his title), Steve Williams, located a car at another dealership that had all of the features that I was wanted (albeit, in my second-choice color).I quickly (and painlessly) negotiated a very fair lease price with Chris . . . a true gentleman at all times. Three days later, I returned to Ft. Myers to pick up my new car (a 2015 BMW 328i). The paperwork process with their Finance Manager, John Slechta, went off without a hitch (and, without any pressure or surprises). The car was then delivered by their Lease Portfolio Manager, Pat Boehm. While going over some of the cars many bells and whistles (the technology is amazing!) with my wife and me, Pat was, at all times, personable, professional, and patient. He is clearly very knowledgeable about the product. We drove away VERY SATISFIED repeat customers. Follow-up: A few days after picking up my car, I was concerned that there might be a slow leak in one of my tires. I called Pat and he made arrangements for me to bring the car in to their Service Department that same day. I was greeted by a very helpful Service Advisor, Sheila Brown, who got my car into the service area without delay. (It turned out that the tire was fine.) I was even offered a complimentary car wash.Needless-to-say, when looking for a new car, I HIGHLY RECOMMENDC BMW of Fort Myers. I trust that your experience will be as positive as was mine. We came into BMW of Ft Myers looking for a Pre-Owned Acura we found online. The sale man informed us the car was actually at their other dealer down the street. I was also interested in a Nissan Altima which was on the BMW lot. So we test drove the Altima down the street to checkout the Acura. Turned out I liked the Nissan I test drove better anyway. Gregg Cuozzo was our sale man and the guy is "straight money". Very easy to deal with, no pressure and offered more than a fair deal on my trade in and we walked out of there extremely pleased. This was a quick, smooth transaction and we got a great deal. The finance guy (John) was great as well. The following day we shopped around other dealers for my wife's car (the only reason we didn't buy here was they didn't have the car she wanted) and after dealing with several local dealers we realized just how good an experience we had at BMW of Ft Myers. We are now Sonic Automotive Group customers in the future as well.

I live over an hour from the dealership. I called the dealership, and over several calls and texts came to an agreement on a car and price. When I got there the salesman and manager threw every stupid used car sales trick that has ever been invented. When we got to numbers the dealership added several thousand to the price over what had been negotiated on the phone and texts. They made us wait while they looked for our car keys on our trade. I have purchased four BMWs over the last 18 years, and this was easily the worst experience by far. I cannot recommend this dealership!

I just bought a Lexus but really wanted a 528i. I originally went to Naples and was not impressed. Shaun and Ron invited me to take a test drive even though I bought the Lexus. I was so impressed by their professionalism and excellent customer service that I will make an appointment to go for a test drive and may even consider trading my Lexus. Highly recommended.

My sales person, Mary Alice Armstrong and the General Manager of the dealership, Joe Irpino, provided top-notch service to me. Additionally, when I had questions later on about some of the features of my new car, I received help from John Findley and Paul Kohler. I find this impressive because commissioned sales people took the time and effort out of their sales process to assist me. I would not hesitate to recommend Ft Myers BMW to anyone.

I inquired about a used Mercedes that was advertised on Cars.com After being stalled and passed around to 3 salesmen, I gave them a credit card to hold the car after it came out of detail. The car was in the Mercedes dealer next door and at one point I was told that it was sold. After waiting for over 2 weeks for some information about the car, was told that it had a dent in it and it would cost around $500 to fix and that would be added to the sales price. During those 2 weeks, I made numerous inquiries via phone and e-mail and nothing was returned. I missed out on 2 other sales because I was waiting for this car but after I was informed of the additional body work needed, I am too skeptical to purchase this car sight unseen, Is this a BMW dealership or Joe Schmo's used cars?

This is our third BMW 3 series convertible. This 3351 was purchased new from BMW of Ft Myers in 2009. I now has 11,000 miles on it in April of 2014. We had serviced it last in February of 2013. So I took the car in for regular service. They told me it needed oil change, brake fluid flush, power steering flush and air filter change which totaled about $490.00. i strongly questioned why this car with so few miles needed service other than an oil change. Alex the service rep told me it was about time and not miles so I told her to proceed but I was unhappy about the need to make these repairs on such few miles. About 90 minutes later Alex came to me in the waiting room and told me the car computer was showing that the "spark plugs needed to be replaced and that cost $411.00". I was astounded and told her I could not understand how changing six spark plugs could cost $411? She joked with me and said it was the time and BMWs had expensive service but kept their resale value high. I told her to proceed but I was going to find out why it costs so much. 60 minutes later she presented a service bill for $1,089.00. I told her we had purchased three BMWs and this was the last one. I told her I was never coming back to BMW of Ft. Myers. She told me that when changing the spark plugs they found some additional parts that needed to be changed which raised the bill to its final total. I told her again I was going to tell everyone about this ripoff and she disappeared for two minutes while I was there with the clerk to pay the bill. Alex told the clerk to not run my credit card which I had handed her. Alex came back and told me she had "made a mistake on the price of replacing the spark plugs. The price was not $411 but $279. So she manipulated the invoice to get it down because I told her I was going to investigate the spark plug price. This service department is a total rip off. Last year the young service adviser told me the tires had "cupping wear" and the car needed alignment even though it had less than 10,000 miles. So I paid for alignment and promptly took the car to a national tire franchise that had worked on our Volvo. I paid the tire company to evaluate the BMW to see if it had tire "cupping wear" and needed alignment. Two different service guys told me there was absolutely no cupping wear on the tires. So buyer beware. Take your BMW to another reputable dealer or to a company that can service BMWs

Well you know the old saying about used car salesmen, well at this dealership it rings true. If you want to be lied to, cheated out of a car, then the person you want to deal with is SHAUN WARNER, he throws his salesmen under the bus and does not honor the deals that are made even when a deposit is placed on a car. so when they tell you they will hold the car until you can get there what they really mean they will hold it unless someone walks in and buys the car, before you can get there! If there is any good that comes from this, it's that I was able to be the fallback deal but really used to pressure the other customer to buy the car. If their vehicles are as good as their sales ethics, you will want to go elsewhere

Greg Bell, Financial Advisor and Tom Simmons, Service Advisor are more than proficient in their duties for BMW and they are the reason you return to the Fort Myers BMW. (REGARDLESS OF HOW FAR YOU HAVE TO DRIVE-the end result is worth your time) Their honesty, proficiency and integrity far exceed any other dealership. I have dealt with BMW's and Mercedez in five states for 20 years....and have acquired 4 BMW's At Fort Myers and regardless of where I live (currently in Clearwater) I will and did return to Fort Myers...Knowing you can trust the Finance Advisor, as well as the Service Advisor, is worth the travel. I read all the bad reviews, and I still fell for it...Don't make the same mistake I did!! I went in lookng for a certified preowned car and found the vehicle I was looking for, when I went in for a test drive I find out the car is not CARFAX certified...it has an accident. I am immediatly told it wa nothing and that it was a blemish. So I'm still interested but not at the price they are asking ..I am told True Price is non negocialble and neither is the 699.00 dealer fee. So I walked away...Two days later I look online and the price dropped 2k...I call and the rep says he has no clue why..So ask for an online appraisal of my vehicle I receive an email with a range consistent with KBB NADA and Black book, so I drive over to this dealership again....and Surprise they offer me 1,000 less than the online (which BTW is also 1,000.00 less than carmax offers me cash...So I make a cash offer with not trade...Still can't uderstand why but the price goes up...we are 1,000.00 off our price...The used car GM says he can't budge the price ...there is no wiggle room at all. So I walk away...But wait theres more!! The very next day the price is dropped exactly 1,000.00...The exact amount I offered!! I call thedealership at 9am ready to go pick up my new car...I'm told my sales rep Warren was in , but with another client ...I ask for a call back (which he did accidently and hung up on me) I receive a call at 2pm that the car was sold...That they will look for another car for me!!..This is the biggest group of lying, deceitful, disgusting people I have ever delt with...This is why "used car salesman" is an insult in any other sales environment. This dealership makes you feel like you've insulted them when you try to negociate a price, and speak to you as if you are trying to steal from them....and then lower the price to exact amount you offer???Stay away stay far away!!

Actually, there were no available staff members that seemed to have an inkling as to how the car industry operates or any idea of how to successfully sell a vehicle. They are completely unwilling to negotiate and their prices are outside of the acceptable and fair market bearing prices that most dealerships offer. Please, if you think you will have a luxury or high end experience at this BMW dealership, you will be very disappointed.

She called the dealer and spoke about the price and told him, that she would come to buy the car next day. At next day she went to the dealer to buy the car, but the car was sell at this morning. No call, no information. It is not the same service like in Europa.

The sales did a good job of presenting my offer and getting the deal that I wanted. However, I found the buying process rather slow and cumbersome. The salesman was busy doing paperwork for the entire time of my visit, other than for the test drive and final negotiation. During the buying session, I was offered a series of options for packages. There was no time to read the fine print to make an intelligent decision. Even the tire warrantee that had been partially explained by the salesman during the test drive, was not as I understood it. That is the is a $50 deductible for each occurrence that was not mentioned. As to service, I was told the car was due for an oil change in 145 miles. I made an appointment the following week. When I arrived I was told hat the oil had been changed, but that the computer had not been reset. I later received an email asking me why I cancelled my service appointment. More service., In the 10 days I've owned the car, the tire pressure warning has had to be reset 4 times. Twice by the dealer and twice by me. The explanation that I was given by the dealer is that this is a common problem and that resetting the warning is common. Can this be?

On vacation from Iowa, my 2011 X-5 had a failed motion detector chip in its alarm system which precluded locking the car with out triggering the alarm. These folk treated us as though we had purchased the vehicle from them. The remedial process although complicated was done with TLC...accolades to Jose and his associates!

I purchased my second car from this dealership about two weeks ago. I typically buy Range Rovers and Porsche and expect smooth buying experience with follow up. Although Greg was a nice guy he was a bit scatter brained. He took my license and girlfriends license so we both could take it for a test drive. I went first...noticed some items that needed to be fixed and he dropped me off. My girlfriend was getting ready to get in the drivers seat but Greg closed the door, locked the car and went back inside. We both looked at each other in disbelief. I went in after Greg and reminded him that my girlfriend would like to drive the car as well..he then asked for her license. I said..umm,,you already have a copy and he realized he goofed but never admitted it. She took a drive and we both liked it. Greg's boss came in with all smiles and said I had such a good credit score I didn't have to put any money down...I said great. A few moments later the Finance guy comes in and asks for $2500.00. He apologized for the misinformation I was given earlier but since it was an older model the bank needed a down payment. I said no problem. Completing the paperwork with the Finance dept. was very smooth and I give them high marks. The car only came with one key and the manuals were missing which I wasn't informed of. Greg told me I could purchase a key for $150.00 which I thought was tacky considering they don't negotiate on their pricing. I pretty much demanded that they at least provide the manuals for the car and he agreed. After this point I had to start following up with Greg on an every other day basis. I wasn't a customer anymore since I purchased the car. I had emailed Greg to ask him of the status of the manuals and he proceeded to tell me that "they were on his desk". I would have thought he would have been proactive and said "they are on my desk, would you like to pick them up or shall I mail them to you"? But that part didn't happen. I asked him to mail them to me and he said sure. Well..that was 3 weeks ago and after 3 emails and 2 phone calls to Greg I finally had to contact the GM of BMW Ft. Myers. He promised he would get to the bottom of this and I would receive my manuals soon. I would give the Sales portion from start to finish a 1 and Finance a 10. I would consider not buying from Germain BMW...plenty of other BMW dealerships around. Maybe some good old fashioned Sales Role playing will help these guys. Sales 101.

Once I first walked into this dealer I was met by a friendly salesman. He was knowledgable on all the products. He wasn't my problem. The issue is with the terrible management in the used car department. Jimmy and Paul both need to seriously consider a different career path. How they both lasted this long with how they act towards customers and how both of their attitudes are is beyond me. Not personable at all, talking down to the salesmen, and all the other junk they did. They are why I'm driving a certified Mercedes and not a BMW. I also recommend the salesmen follow suit and jump ship to Mercedes.

The service dept at this dealership continues to diminish in customer service. It is almost impossible to get a loaner vehicle. I called for a service appointment April 15th. I was not able to get an appointment until April 24th. I had the appointment for brake pads. When I arrived for service at the appointment time I was told they were out of brake pads. Expected them possibly Friday and I need to make another appointment. I have continuous issues with the service department. I did not have a pleasant experience at the time of purchasing this vehicle. The sales associate was not helpful and did not follow through on any of the things he said at the time of sale.This is my second car from this dealership and the customer service just keeps getting worse. I would not recommend BMW Of Ft. Myers.

In all my experience with auto dealerships this was the worst experience of my life. I took my bmw in for a factory recall (safety) they did not fix the problem or address it. My car sat in the parking lot for 1 hour and I watched it constantly when I questioned them they said they Diognosed the problem and it would cost $450 to fix. I said no one touched the car at all.they said they did not have to as they knew what the problem was.i asked why there was a chare when it. Was a factory recall and I had a letter from bmw. They said either I pay or take the car to Germany to get it fixed! Needless to say I will call NATB on Monday

They did work not authorized. Would not call us back, had to keep calling. When we finally got the car back it had grease all over where the radio had been worked on, on the seat and on the door. When I sent pictures of it to them they said "Stop by sometime when you are in the area and we will clean it" I dont live in that area.

Please give your business to another dealership. The salesperson was friendly, but management needs MAJOR improvements. The management team was rude and actually told us to go to another dealer when we asked for a better deal. We knew what was a fair price b/c we had researched other dealer prices and all we wanted was a fair deal. They wanted us to pay $6,000 more.....they are NOT customer centric and in these times companies should learn QUICK if they want to stay in business.

If you choose to do service at this dealer, I recommend Jose. I bought my car new from BMW of Fort Myers (less than great experience) and had all the service completed under the factory maintenance/warranty program. Jose is a former BMW technician and knows these cars inside & out. Being a BMW and car nut myself, I found his knowledge of the product he sells and advises on to be a breath of fresh air. In one instance, my batteries needed to be replaced on my key fob - they were $20 for the pair - and not covered under the warranty. I balked at the price since you could buy a pair for $2 at Walgreens and he took them off the bill and ate the cost himself. What a stand up guy.BMW of Fort Myers: Jose is you most valuable employee.

I purchased a vehicle from bmw of ft myers, everything was great until i pull into my own drive way an hr after purchase when i noticed a clunking noise. something i find very difficult to believe could be missed during a thorough inspection and test drive, my test drive was short and on a freshly paved road. it may be the ball joints i am told, potentially a costly repair. on top of it i purchased a vehicle from them 3 months ago for 6791 drove and put 2000 miles on, they did give me a fair trade in price i admit (5000)but the next guy will get screwed when they pay their no haggle price of 7991, dont let them fool you when they say that they only profit from their dealer fee. they made out like a bandit on my trade in.and dont forget 1000 more than i paid for it 3 months ago and 2000 miles less, oh and i smoked in it, like a chimney unlike their claim of it being owned by a non smoker AND i was the THIRD owner unlike the advertised 2 owner. they are friendly and helpful dont get me wrong, just keep these things in mind when dealing with them.

We recently purchased a used car & when we took it for a test drive it seems like the breaks were very low to me but salesman said they felt fine to him.We also told ua the car had a complete checkup & was ready for the road & safe.When he explained the $699 dealer fee I questioned it & was told all Florida Dealers charge this $699 fee. I paid it but didn't believe it & I checked other dealers & was told the fees run from $0 to whatever they think people will pay but never heard of a $699 dealer fee.On the drive back to Port Charlotte my wife told me it was pulling to the right.I took the car to Complete Auto Repair in Port Charlotte & not only were the breaks bad the ball joints were completely frozen up & not working & was told the front wheel could have fallen off at any time. All tires were thread bare on the inside & not visible just by looking at them without going under the car. All spark plugs had to be replaced as weel as the air cleaner. All injectors had to be cleaned.I had to pay over $1500 to make this car safe & road worthy.The 30 day temporary tag has expired now & have not recieved the plate I paid for.The Dealorship sent me an EMAIL asking how they performed on our sale & I told them the exact same thing & never heard from them again.BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN PURCHASING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed on a price for used car only to turn-around and claim that they made a mistake and price would be higher as they had to put new tires worth $2500! After I agreed to meet in the midway for the increased price after I drove 150 miles each way, I am told that my tires on the trade-in were no good and had to discount another $1000 from the trade value! (my tires are only 15k miles old and still have about 50% or higher trade remaining) Seemed so cheated and scammed at the end of the ordeal!

Bought the car basically over the phone due to living 2.5 hours away. I was very nervous about doing this, staff were all very pacient with me. They had all the paper work ready for me when I arrived to pick up the car. SAlesman went over every little detail and option the car had.! Would definitely go back for my next vehicle. I PURCHASED A 2003 BMW X5 SUV IS BEAUTIFUL AT FORT MYERS BMW FOR 13,110 AS IS NO WARRANTY I WAS TOLD THE X5 WAS CHECKED OUT FROM FRONT TO BACK . THEY PUT NEW BRAKES,BUT NOT ROTORS THEY ARE WORN. This is my fourth BMW I have owned so far and I was interested in trading it in for a 2011 yesterday.But the experience I had yesterday was by far the worst in a long time. Came across as very arrogant and condescending and after researching the price for the car I was looking at I also realized it wasoverinflated and at the same token the price for the trade in was way below blue book....overall very poor experience.

I highly recommend those wishing to purchase a vehicle to contact Glen Trautman. I was so pleased to have met Glen. He is sincere, personable and not high pressure at all. Glen carefully listened to what I needed in a car. Although the car I sought was not present on the day I visited BMW of Fort Myers, Glen didn't forget me and the day the car appeared, I was contacted first thing that morning and they same day drove home in a great BMW X3! I have had multiple bad experiences with this dealer. I first brought my convertable in to get the leak fixed in the roof which was going into the trunk. I showed them where the leak was and told them they could find it with a hose. They replaced the back window, charge me a fortune and it did not fix the leak. The second time they did what I said and fixed the back window leak (replaced the entire roof seal), which caused the front window to leak. They told the 3rd time that I needed an entire new roof, which includes another new rear window and roof seal. Would have been cheaper to do that the first time. Second my speedometer would not work. They had my car for over 2 months and at one point I did not hear from them for 3 weeks until I called them. When the car was finally returned there was a scratch across the hood and soem of the other items were not fixed. They kept it for another week to fix those issues.

The employees of part department were very unfriendly, worked very slowly. I was order the parts from them and it's took to long to get it from them. They always changed the day of delivery. So I will never come back to BMW office again.

After being greeted quickly by Barry Marley, we were shown cars that we were shopping for and decided that what we thought we wanted was not really appropriate for us. We were shown the BMW 3 series and decided on a 335d after taking a lengthly test drive and having the features pointed out to us by Barry. We were impressed by how much time was spent with us without some sort of commitment from us to buy. After mentioning that we were being persued by a competitor of theirs they brought in the general manager (not the sales manager) to negotiate the final deal. My wife really beat him up pretty good concerning the price of our trade in but in the end, I think everyone was happy. The car is fabulous and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Brought my vehicle (760 li) in twice for air conditioning service. Both times the a/c failed within days. When I called back in 95 degree weather to complain, I was told that I had to wait a week because the service manager was on vacation. I have been a loyal BMW owner (3 vehicles at this time) but that's it for me. Called BMW customer service in Ohio, and got another runaround. Is it any wonder that Lexus is stealing so many BMW owners every day?????

We live in the Florida Keys and there are no dealerships near us. We have had bad experiences at a few BMW dealerships and decided to try Ft Myers BMW. We showed up early without an appointment for an oil change. Cindy said she would get us in as soon as possible. She had one of the employees drive us to the BMW Motorcycle dealer down the street so that we could check out a bike while we were waiting. Then the same guy picked us up when we were ready and took us back to pick up our car about an hour later. It was ready and did not cost us a dime. Everything was perfect. We were impressed with the dealerships prompt and friendly service. We will definitely be returning to BMW of Ft Myers for all of our future service needs.

Cindy is the best. I trust what she tells me needs to be done and she is always warm, friendly, and welcoming. Everyone else are also friendly which adds to the atmosphere at this dealership when I come and I seldom have to wait for service. Plus there is always good free coffee while I wait.

Serious price gouging. They lie about the amount of labor hours they work on your car. I've never worked with a dealer so long of a period regarding dealer platinum upgraded maintenance or extended warranty work and not had an issue resolved ASAP. I was told that the clutch Slave cylinder was bad after they replaced the smg clutch and flywheel. They told me it would take seven hours of labor to get the clutch slave cylinder replaced on the smg transmission. I called several BMW dealers and they all told me it was around one to one and a half hours in labor to replace and around sixty dollars for the part. What a rip off I will never go to this dealer ever again!!!

I was looking for a qaulity convertible vehicle new or certified. I checked VW EOS, Audi A4, Mercedes, and BMW from Fort Myers to Sarasota. What I found is a great BMW POC that is a terrific car and adding the extended warranty I will only pay tires and gas for approximately 4 years. I am a business owner and always look at the numbers. I have a truly great 2007 328i convertible is pristine and wonderful. The team at Fort Myers BMW was truly great. I first did an online inquiry receiving a prompt follow-up. I scheduled an appointment to see a three cars and actually brought one I had not considered. My best comment is the process of paperwork and time was very stream lined as far as other dealships I have dealt with in the past. Absolutely everyone treated me as if I had purchased the most expensive BMW you have in your dealership. I personally could not be happier with my car and the experience at BMW of Fort Myers. Thank you all. I am very pleased with my car and feel confident my car serice will be as great as th buying experience.

Greg did a great job from start to finish on the sale. The majority of the time was spent with Greg. My wife and I appreciated his demeanor and low pressure style. He understood our needs and limitations and stayed within our perameters. The dealership did a great job of accomodating our trade in and worked outside the dealership to get the best possible trade value. Overall the experience was excellent and we feel we recieved great value in our purchase.

The salesperson and sales manager who worked with me on my purchase were excellent. I made several trips back to the dealership before buying the car and I never felt pressured to 'buy it right now'. I really appreciated this as my wife wouldn't even go with me as I looked around because we have had such bad experiences with car dealers in the past. When the car that I had been looking at was sold to someone else they worked with me on a custom order to get the fair pricing on a new car with the exact features that I wanted. They told me I could get it within 60 days and they delivered the car as promised. Some other dealerships that I talked to while looking for a car continued to harass me with phone calls on why I should get a Lexus instead or go to their dealership for a BMW. These calls that were basically unethical and convinced me that I had made the right choice in going to BMW of Fort Myers for my car.

All employees listed above exhibited professionalism, knowledge, courtesy and concern for my needs. All advised me what was best for me in a way that was understandable and in a very patient manner. It was clear to me that they did not just want to sell me a car but they wanted to sell me the car that was best for me. They all combined their efforts to make my car buying experience a smooth and efficient process which served my needs in the best way possible. While all mentioned were excellent in their performance, I would be remiss if I did not make special mention of Donald Smith. Although young and only in his job for five months, he had an almost encyclopedic knowledge, not only of the car in which I was primarily interested, but also any other vehicle that caught my interest. As if that were not enough, his command of all the policies and procedures of his job and his organization skills, indicated to me that he is far above his peers and should be considered for higher position before all of them. In all, I consider myself fortunate to have been served by these people in a manner that made me feel confident and comfortable.

You're not likely to get a human to answer the phone and they don't both to call you back in a timely manner when you leave a voicemail. Once my car was actually in for service, communication regarding when it would be ready was terrible. My car was in for very minor updates, yet it went from being a six hour estimate to taking four days AND I had to call them each time it was delayed to find that out. They are the reason I bought my car in Fort Lauderdale after having bought my previous one in Fort Myers. Horrible.

I would not recommend buying nor servicing your vehicle at BMW of Fort Myers. I "HAD" been loyal to getting my service work done there until my recent visit. My previous service experiance was replacing the battery. I went in late on a Friday and was quoted $320 for replacing and diagnosing the electrical system. The work was passed on to a service advisor that would be there on Saturday to complete the process. Saturday morning I recieved a call saying it was going to run me close to $460 now. I immediately went over there to see why it was so different from the previous day. By the time I got there the price had gone down to $380. I ultimately paid $350 for replacing and diagnosing the electrical system. Just last week I went in to have my 2 front tires replaced. Also needed a 4-wheel alignment($150 plus tax=$180). 2 run flat tires(almost $800) plus a $50 deductable since it is under the extented warrenty now at nearly 78000 miles. Along with the services I had requested, they also found a bad rear bearing, and an oil leak. Both were fixed at no charge. But I'm sure the $1000+ ended up covering anything and everything they also found. After getting the work performed, the car drove well for about a day. I had the car serviced since I was going on vacation and was going to be driving it for about 700 miles. About 50 miles into my trip the ABS light came on, along with the Run Flat tire monitor(tires were properly inflated), and it ultimately disabled the traction control, and cruise control as well. I made the decision to continue my vacation while in the back of my head I was concerned the car would not make it. It felt as if something was lose, hearing a cracking noise when apply the brakes. I will be taking the vehicle back to fix their mistakes, while I'm sure they will try to say I owe another $50 deductable for their mistake.

I recently moved to the area & needed to bring my car in for annual service. I only needed an oil change & tire rotation. 1) There was "up sell" oil change that was $50 more - only for me to later learn there's no difference between regular oil change & up sell one. 2) I was given the impression I HAD to have my brake fluid flushed as there was a problem w/brake fluid I had -service advisor Cindy Laird said my brake fluid should be "clear." I said go ahead, called my husband about 30 min later who said cancel it, I called back & oddly they had already started on my car & could not cancel this service. When I got the car back - the brake fluid is not "clear" but rather the same dark color it was before. Clearly this didn't need to be done. 3) I was also told I needed to have my alternator belt replaced as it was cracked - it was - but I also had to replace the air conditioning belt as it was "dry." My husband called to speak with them - told them to put the belts in my trunk. When I picked the car up Cindy now said something about it just being easier to replace the air conditioning belt & the alternator belt at the same time (this contradicted what she said earlier - Furthermore I don't care if it's easier - if it doesn't need to be done - it should NOT have been done) When I got home - the air conditioning belt that needed to be replaced - looked brand new. There wasn't not one crack, mark, bend etc. And yes it was "dry" - it's freaking rubber. Was it so dry it looked like it was about to crack? Absolutely not - again it looked brand new. So this is now over $300 to flush the brake fluid & replace an air conditioning belt that basically didn't need to be fixed. 4) They also charged a misc customer pay charge of $40. When I inquired what this was I was told it's to dispose of used parts. Read that sentence again & let is marinate. Isn't that their job? Do I have to pay their electric bill, too? 5) They also told me I had a tire that was about to go bald & while I didn't need to replace it now - I should in the near future. After speaking w/an OWNER of another BMW dealership - he said if the tire was going bad they should have replaced it w/my full-size spare until I could get it fixed. They didn't offer to do this. 6) Then (yes there's more!) the tire rotation I went in for - it was never completed. I wasn't aware this wasn't done until I started reviewing the bill after I left (my husband paid the bill over the phone) & noticed I was never charged for this. When I asked if that's what the $40 charge was for - they said no - after their inspection they didn't recommend I needed a tire rotation. While that may be true - isn't that something that you should consult w/me FIRST before you take it upon your self to NOT rotate my tires?? Personally, I think they just forgot. 8) And the BEST part - I received an email customer service survey - I sent the email to the Cindy & stated before I fill this out - plz let me know what the $40 misc charge is & what happened w/the tire rotation - it now appears that Cindy Laird took this survey FOR ME as I just went to complete it & it tells me the survey was already completed!! Thing is - Cindy somehow forgot I told her I knew a VERY senior level person at BMW corporate due to a problem I had in 2008 and have this person's direct contact info. If you go here - BEWARE!

This was the worst buying experience I have ever had buying a car and I have owned a ton of cars, trading frequently. I am a BMW NUT - we currently own a Z4, the X5 Diesel, a BMW K1300 S and a BMW R1200 RT motorcycle! BMW of Fort Myers is owned and run by Sonic Motors. It must be their motto, "screw the customer whenever possible" because that is exactly what these people are about. When we bought our Z4 it was a straight up lease of a leftover 2009. We negiotiated the lease and left with the car. The next day the dealership ran an ad for the car at $100 a month lower payment. Now I don't fault them for getting what they can for a car but when I called them on the carpet for the difference, the GM got involved and offered to split the difference with us. I agreed and it NEVER HAPPENED....the check was in the mail and never came. From that point forward the GM would not acknowledge my phone calls! When it came time to buy the X5 I headed south to Germain BMW in Naples, individually owned. What a difference 30 miles can make, the dealership was straight up on pricing and the service was excellent. The best of the experience was a our sales advisor Jim McGinn. Jim is absolutely a breath of fresh air when it comes to car sales!! STAY AWAY FROM SONIC DEALERSHIPS, THEY ARE THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL!!!

Having sold our BMW dealership in 2006 and knowing exactly how a BMW dealership should operate, I can't say enough about Sergio, the service advisor at Ft. Myers BMW. I had called his dealership and the one to its South. Sergio knew exactly what he was doing and was able to get me right in that day. The other dealership had almost a weeks wait and the person on the phone didn't seem knowledgeable.

While sales may be a different situation, my service experiences in Fort Myers have been awful. In one visit (clunking clutch, various minor rattles, etc) the car was returned to me with scratches and gouge marks all over the weatherstripping around the rear windows because of an incredibly abrasive washing technique. Only after much telephone wrangling was I able to get the service advisor to order and install new weatherstripping for me. Interestingly, the dealer chose to charge the new weatherstripping as a warranty claim instead of taking responsibility for their own impropoper washing. I would not return to this dealer for service or sales.
