I have a 2009 528 that I purchased from BMW of WS in 2012. it now has 254000 miles and still runs great. my shopping and purchasing experience was excellent (Jason P) the service I receive is still above my expectationas a result of my experience at WS BMW my daughter bought her 328 and was very pleased with Bryceall and all I look forward to my next purchase at BMW of West Springfield

Don't ever buy a car from this dealership. LIED about everything from the beginning and I have the emails and voice-mails to prove it. Promised BMW, run-flat, original snow tires to get me to buy prior to month end. After 45 days of going back and forth on the tires that I was promised, they sent me the cheapest, non-run-flat, 18" snow tires with GENERIC wheels from TIRERACK! Trust me when I say these guys are CROOKS.

I went to turn in my 16 Nissan Maxima for another lease because a horrible dealership and Nissan Consumer Affairs experience. But because the buyout of my car was too much, i wasn't ablate amen a deal. Bryce tried everything he could to help and made me feel like there are good people that work for dealerships. My lease is up in 2 years and will 100% go to BMW of West Springfield and deal with Bryce (Great guy and a Great person) !!!!

I bought a pre-owned 2013 BMW 3 series active hybrid about 1.5years ago. Within that 1.5 years, the car had been in the dealer for more than 10 times for the same issues and it has never been fixed. it was great for the frist month, but afer that, it started slight shaking when it was idling and got worst everyday. Just got it back from dealer (10days in the shop). They told me that they needed to replace 4 tires so they could do a test drive so i did and hopefully they will solve the issue but disappointed. I will keep bringing it to the dealer until they will solve the issue for me while my car still under warranty.

We recently ordered and bought an X5 from BMW of WS. We were saddled with Stephen King, one of the least helpful salespeople I have come across in a long time. He offered very little of his time, was very hard to get a hold of, and lied about available rebates to try and keep them for the dealership. He also offered very little vehicle info. His BMW Genius, Paulo, had to continually correct what little info he was providing. The best way to describe Steve is he comes across as the classic used car salesmen from an old movie. Talks fast, tells you what YOU think, and tries to get it done quickly or he has to move on. In the end, I got an OK deal, but it could have been better if I traveled to a larger market. I did have to go through xxxx with him to get it though. During the negotiations I tried a number of times to get in touch with Job Pinentel as well as Jerome Ballesteros to clarify some items of concern. Neither of them took the time to call me back or respond to the emails I sent. Finally, once we signed our P&S agreement, I got an email from Jerome Bellesteros asking me to ok the build sheet. I saw all my options so I said OK. Skip forward a month to when the car lands at the dealer...We find out on our own from BMW tracking that the car is at the dealer. Steve didn't bother to call so I called him. He sets us up for a Saturday delivery. Saturday noon arrives and our car rolls out... with a bit of a discrepancy from what we ordered. We chose the xLine package as I'm not a fan of chrome and loved the aluminum trim and roof rails. While the car did come as an xLine, the roof rails were black. I asked the BMW Genius, Kyle Cowdell, what that was all about. ( We were going through the vehicle with him because once again, Steve King was too busy to deliver the car to us personally.) Kyle pulled out the window sticker and said,"It says high gloss on the sticker and that's what your vehicle has." Not an answer but there was so much going on, I let it go for the time being. After going through the car we signed the papers and went home. The first thing I did was do a build and price on BMW's web configurator and sure enough, aluminum roof rails come with the xLine. No mention of the ability to order black in their place. I then did my own research and found out the the aluminum rails do indeed come standard as I thought but the dealer can override that and order black in their place. It's not something that a customer would know as it's a hidden option only available on the dealer's order screen. The question is why were they selected? I didn't even know I could so it wasn't me. (And I wouldn't have even if I did know about the hidden option...)Since then, I tried over and over to contact Steve and Jerome about the discrepancy. Jerome, as usual, was unreachable. Steve finally got back to me and told me that Jerome said it was my fault as I OK'd the build but did offer to build another car. (While I did OK the build, no where on the order sheet or my P&S did it mention black roof rails.) Anyways, waiting for another build was not an option as we already traded our vehicle to them and paid in full. I was not about to reverse the whole process and wait another month plus for another new car. I did however offer a solution that would have cost BMW of WS around $300 and would have been an acceptable outcome. This was out and out refused in a rather caviler way and told that waiting for another car was the only option. Very much a take it or leave it. We chose to leave it. In the end, I am VERY disappointed in BMW of WS. Steve was pretty useless, Jerome ordered the car wrong and then insisted it was what I ordered taking no blame, and Job is asleep at the wheel. I'm much more upset at the staff than the mistake itself. Everyone makes mistakes. (I made one myself opting for the running boards which I should have deleted...) Just own it and make a small consolation to make it right. What you don't do is aggressively accuse the buyer of making the mistake. I had family that was considering a purchase as well as a long time family friend. After hearing how this played out, they have decided to shop elsewhere. I will in the future as well.

We were in the market for a certified pre-own BMW so we started reading the dealerships reviews. Based on some negative reviews we were skeptical about this dealership, however their New Car sales manager Jerome was recommended by a friend so we decided to give them a shot. We made an appt and upon arrival we were greeted by their receptionist and manager Jerome who asked Bryce Piemonte to assist us. I have to admit, I am very picky when it comes to cars, Bryce had his work cut out for him but he was very professional and knowledgeable of the models we were interested in, seems honest and he made us feel comfortable, not the typical salesman that tries pressuring you to buy. After a few test drives we started price negotiations, we did our research prior so we knew the retail value, we felt like Bryce & Jerome were doing their best working with their pre-own sales manager to get the deal together and make us happy. As with any pre-own car there will be imperfections, but like I said, I'm very picky when it comes to cars. We came up with a plan to address some of the issues that most buyers probably wouldn't even notice, Bryce explained it would take a few days and kept his word on that, providing regular updates until we picked up our car and even continued checking in with us after the sale to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. Great car buying experience, these guys were all very friendly, we would highly recommend checking them out and working with Bryce & Jerome.

My car was having trouble starting about a week ago. So I had it towed to this BMW dealership because it is the closest to me. I usually go to the BMW dealership in Shrewsbury. They told us that we would know what was wrong with it by Monday. I had it towed there on Friday. Monday came and went without a call. We had to chase them down on the phone and we were told there wasn't even a mechanic there to look at it. The next day, we were told that the car will be fixed by Wednesday morning. Meaning they didn't even look at it until Tuesday evening. I picked up my car on Wednesday with a friend who drove me a half hour to get there. We got there and they assured me that there shouldn't be a problem with it. They said they replaced the battery and fixed whatever was happening in the engine. A day and half went by and the same problem started. I called the dealership and they said to bring it in and that I will be given a loaner car while they look at it. I arrived at the dealership and they first basically told me that they didn't have any loaner cars available. What professional and qualified dealership doesn't have a single loaner car available AND promises a loaner car to someone who is driving a half hour away. They looked at my car and said they won't have a loaner car till next week on Tuesday but my car should not have any problems until then.Came back home that Friday with my car, 5 hours later my car isn't starting again. NOR is it starting again this morning. This dealership has the most idiotic and unqualified people ever. If they aren't qualified they shouldn't be servicing BMWs nor should they be stressing their customers. I had to pay a hefty amount to get it fixed the first time, to get it towed there the first time and now I will have to pay the same and more because these people don't have the basic knowledge of checking everything and making sure its working. Clearly they don't care about their customers if they just let them drive away in car that isn't working properly and leaving them in a dangerous situation.

I purchased a new car from this dealership through Bryce Piemonte in January. Bryce was pleasant and reasonable, and most importantly I felt that he really worked hard on my behalf. I got the deal I wanted without time-consuming and high-pressure negotiations. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had!I arrived at the dealership with the fair market price, financing options & rates, the monthly payment for a specific model and options after having done my homework from Edmunds.com, kbb.com, and bmwusa.com. After a test drive, Bryce quoted a price that is much higher than the fair market price. I gave him a "homework" to work with his managers to get me the deal I want and left the dealership. After a couple of short negotiations over the phone, Bryce came through with the deal I wanted.I appreciate Bryce for working hard on my behalf and giving me the best car buying experience. Thanks a lot, Bryce!

Picture this. Off/on over the course of 18 months I showed my interest in a leftover, "new" 2014 335xi dealer exec car. Multiple times I initiated "negotiations" with Steve King (SK), resulting in this final response each time. "I need to check with Job". (Job is the GM) The result? Except for our last discussion, despite follow up emails and calls on my part, I would never hear back from SK (or Job). In October, several months after our last interaction ended, I had my 2011 335i in for service. I stopped by to talk to SK to see if they had sold the 2014. "No, it's still here". And so, for the umpteenth time, negotiations began (again). SK asked me to get back to him with "what do you need to make it happen". So after researching depreciating values again, I did, in writing, via email. This time, he did respond, with a written quote, very close to my offer, via email. Very shortly thereafter I emailed back saying it was acceptable. What I didn't know is that my response crossed paths with another from him in which he said he had "made a mistake" and that he had to withdraw his written quote. He had also left a vmail on my phone, saying the same thing and that he would get back to me after (guess what) ... "I check with Job". You can guess the result. Yep. Never heard a thing back. I emailed SK and Job several times afterward. Nothing but silence; and then the car was no longer on the website. Had another buyer come along and offered a better deal that exact same day? Had they played me and another buyer off one another and I lost? Likely I will never know.I must admit, in all of my years' experience in car-buying, I have never, ever heard of a dealership reneging on a written quote, having to "withdraw it". Have you? Withdraw a written quote? Really?Follow up emails to both SK and Job to this effect fell on deaf ears at BMWWS. Not surprising tho; my experience with them has proven I shouldn't expect anything more. Or should I? After all, I'm just an existing BMWWS customer, who facilitated a 2015 X5 sale to a relative, and who was very interested in upgrading to a new BMW. I wonder, would BMW Corporate expect more?If youre looking for a BMW dealer that handles customers professionally, and with courtesy, I would avoid this dealership.Mike CahillHatfield, MA

I went to BMW of West Springfield in search on a used 2015 BMW 328 with a specific technology feature. The manager at the dealership told me there were not many vehicles with that feature so if I wanted that specific feature I would need to buy a new car and if I paid $2k more he would try to find a new car with that feature. I agreed and a few days later the salesperson contacted to tell me they found the car and could have it at the dealership in a few days. I agreed to buy the car although it had both interior and exterior colors that I did not really like, but as I told the salesman and manager, I was willing to take the undesirable colors and pay the extra money to get the specific technology feature I wanted. A few days turned into a month, partially due to dealership errors, and finally the car arrived. When I picked up the car and asked the BMW Genius to demonstrate the technology feature. He told me this was a newer feature and he wasnt sure how it worked but would research and get back to me. Note that prior to buying the car I also spoke with the same BMW Genius to confirm the technology feature I wanted would work with my smartphone. Two months after I received the car and after a number of phones calls from me to the dealership, the BMW Genius confirmed the vehicle I bought does not have the technology feature I wanted. I understand this is a newer feature and not all salesmen, managers etc. are familiar with the technology but in this case where the buying negotiation was focused primarily around this one feature; because absent this one feature, many dealers had vehicles that met all my other requirements in colors I preferred and costing less, I would expect when the dealership tells me they can get a car with a specific feature, I should be able to trust the feature will be included.This experience has truly tainted my impression of the BMW brand. Not only that the dealer would sell me a car that does not include the feature I ordered, but the poor responses to my calls and emails. After my second email the general manager, Job Pimentel, to inquire how the dealership was going to handle to issue, he didnt even bother to respond. I have purchased many cars and this is the first time I have ever been unhappy with my purchase. I regret the day I walked into the BMW of West Springfield dealership.----Thank you for your response and apology, but I do want to respond to a few points in your note that would make my review seem unreasonable. First of all, it is a misstatement to indicate I was offered new car with additional features for the same price as used cars on the lot. I am sure you would have many people flocking to your dealership if you could make that happen. As I stated in my review the offer was for a new car with the feature at a cost of an additional $2k.Second, it is a misstatement to indicate I did not express my desire for the technology feature until the second encore delivery. On the day I came to the dealership to look for a car, the majority of the discussion was focused on the technology feature. I expressed exactly what I wanted. I spoke at length with the BMW Genius regarding the feature and the fact that it would not work with all phones. We discussed whether it would work with my phone and model, a Samsung, or whether perhaps an iphone would better. I recognize the technology package includes heads up display, but that is only one feature of the package and is unrelated to the topic of having the car and phone in sync for receiving and sending text messages. When I received the car and the BMW Genius was reviewing the features and we got to this feature, he was unable to set it up. He indicated this was a newer feature and he was not sure how to set up it up, but would research and get back to me. I accepted this as reasonable because it is a newer feature.Finally, your assertion the function is not possible on any BMW at this time just illustrates my point that BMW of Springfield representatives do not fully understand the features of the cars you sell, and this resulted in the dealership representing they were selling me a car with the feature I requested when in fact the feature was not included. If the function is not possible then BMW has managed a tremendous hoax (yes, sarcasm) based on the following; when I described the feature, one of the dealership technicians explained his wife had the same feature and it worked fine on her car; BMW ran a national TV ad for some time highlighting the feature on the BMW 3 series models (the model I purchased); the manual for my car has a section dedicated to setting up the feature; and finally when the dealership acknowledged my car does not have the feature they explained the feature required not only the technology package but enhanced bluetooth which my car does not have.While I acknowledge that I was not aware there is an enhanced bluetooth option, I believe when I request a car with a specific function, the dealership representative should have adequate knowledge of the options or packages needed to supply that function.

I purchased a car from Bryce Piemonte and Chris Hughes in November and can honestly say they surpassed my expectations. In November 2015 I purchased a 2014 Audi RS5 convertible through BMW West Springfield. At the time of sale a full car report was pulled by BMW showing no problems or accidents on the car. They provided me with the original window sticker and stated, "this is everything the car has". I specifically asked if the car had the original Audi warranty. Since the car had under 15,000 miles, I was told yes. I requested a maintenance agreement from BMW. They stated I'd have to get it from Audi. To date, I've taken the car in for inspection 3 times. 3 times it failed. I was told by the inspectors that the computer in the car needed to reset itself, since they were not able to get any readings from the cars computer. After the 3 fails, I called Audi Schrewsbury. The car was due for its 15,000 miles maintenance. I told them about the problem. They were to complete the 15,000 mile maintenance, put new winter tires on the car and have it inspected. Audi contacted me and stated the car would NOT pass an inspection because the car had been "chipped". Being unfamiliar with the term, they explained that the cars computer system was altered. Making the Audi warranty void. I was unable to get the maintenance agreement due to this as well. The car is now red flagged by Audi. Last, no inspection sticker. In short, I would have to put out all money for any maintenance on the car or any repairs. To give you an idea? The first maintenance due is $1,500. A brake job is over $5,000. Before I bought the car, I repeatedly asked if they went over the car. Were any changes made to the car. They said it went through their service department and there was nothing wrong with it. Prior to buying, I called Audi & provided them the VIN number. They stated the car was still under the original warranty. I've been going back & forth with Audi Schrewsbury & BMW West Springfield. BMW wanted to pick my car up from Audi to run their own diagnostics and consult with another Audi dealership to see what could be done about the car. That was over 1 1/2 weeks ago. In short? Nothing could be done to "fix" it and put a warranty back on the car. When I spoke to Chris (manager of sales at BMW) he apologized profusely for the error. He "took full responsibility " for the "mistake". He stated he would find out why this wasn't caught before they bought or sold the car. He admitted, on their recorded line, that they screwed up. Audi Schrewsbury also agreed with Chris that they did indeed screw up. That it should have been caught prior to buying it or selling it. I've requested a full refund from Chris at BMW. After several days, they've written back stating they will start the refund process. BUT, they were deducting for depreciation of the car (3 weeks??), mileage on the car. Depreciation because I'm a smoker. They also stated they over paid for my trade in. My trade was a 2011 Audi A5, paid in full. I also paid the RS5 in full at the time of purchase. How can they have overpaid for a car that was paid in full? There was no lien that they would have to show a bank that my trade was worth more than it actually was?I have numerous emails going back and forth between BMW and myself, plus BMW and my husband. I will gladly furnish all originals to your office. I'm not looking for a dime more than I spent acquiring the car. The typical purchase price, taxes, the trade in for the A5, the clear coating bra warranty and the tire and rim warranty. Plus the cost of the new winter tires. At this point, I'm not even looking to be reimbursed for the auto insurance. I just want what's honestly due to me. I want this over. I've been without my car over 1 1/2 weeks. Yet I'm still paying excise taxes, insurance, etc. I believe, in all honesty, I shouldn't be penalized for their admitted mistake. I'm not asking for a newer car. I'm asking for a full refund. The dealership is located in Massachusetts, it's registered in Massachusetts as well. I also live in Massachusetts.

I came into this dealership for the first time now knowing what to expect. I met Bryce outside and let me tell you. He was very polite, honest and very easy to work with. I bought a used car and had a few questions about the car and he answered every single one. I had a wonderful experience and never thought car buying would be so easy. If you come to look at a car at BMW of West Springfield, I'd recommend Bryce Piemonte to be your salesman. Excellent service, very polite, honest and took care of any questions I had. 5 Stars!!!! From the time I walked into the dealership I found that my car buying experience was unlike any other. Bryce Piemonte was a tremendous asset to both myself and my wife as we were buying a BMW for the very first time. The time Bryce spent with us to go over every aspect of each of the cars we were interested in looking at really allowed us to narrow down the vehicle which we ended up buying. Then the experience going though the car buying process was very easy and everyone we met at the dealership was very pleasant and helpful. Finally when we picked up our new X3 Bryce spent over an hour going through how to use every function of the car which made us very comfortable with driving out knowing how to effectively use the technology. I will gladly recommend this dealership and specifically Bryce to all!!!!

I found a great internet deal on a somewhat unusual, particular used car at BMW of West Springfield. So I flew in from Minnesota to buy the car. Before I did their man Justin was absolutely honest in describing and testing the car, so that I did not waste my time and airplane ticket. He held the car for two weeks for me with a credit card deposit. Upon arrival, their man Paul picked me up at the airport. Justin was awesome to work with. I bought the car and drove it 20 hours to get back home. A few days later I got a call from Justin to make sure I got back ok and that the car was working out. The dealership even worked with me on the fact that I would be out of state if I would happen to have a warranty problem (which I have not). I could not be happier with the car and with the dealership. I travelled 1400 miles to shop there, you should give them a try. John GeroldMonticello, MN

I found this dealership to be the rare gem that did not enter in to a high pressure, this deal is only going to last to the end of the day, type of sales tactics. Bryce (the salesperson) answered a myriad of questions throughout the day and demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the car, pros/cons, terms of the leasing agreement, and just about anything else. I would absolutely return to this dealership and most definitely would ask to work with Bryce for my next purchase.

I had called BMW of West Springfield regarding an X1 that they had in their inventory. I was linked with Bryce Piemonte, whom was very pleasant, accommodating, and no pressure. I am a Connecticut customer, and have a very challenging schedule. Bryce made it possible for me to take a car home to show to my wife, and also was competitive with his pricing.Unfortunately we decided to go for another make and model, but the experience at BMW of W. Springfield was great thanks to Bryce. I would certainly revisit him and the dealership when I'm in the market for a BMW.

This dealership is a breath of fresh air. As we all know how buying a car can be. Had tested a variety of cars locally and saw they had a car I was interested in. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Even though I did not buy a BMW, my wife and I felt as though we were treated as if we had purchased a very expensive BMW by the treatment we received. The whole process was quick and easy. Even though we did not purchase a BMW, we were treated as if we purchased the most expensive one on the lot. Everyone was very nice and helpful, especially our sales guy Edwin. He worked hard to get us an even better price than we already had and to make sure the vehicle was up to our standards. 10/13/15 ONE STAR REVIEW - BMW OF WEST SPRINGFIELD MA?First to ReviewThis is my first yelp review and I couldn't wait to post it - do NOT go to this dealer for service or you might be victimized like I was!I live in Connecticut and I phoned yesterday to set up an oil change appointment. Dan in service told me there was a $49 special (great price!). I made an appointment for 10:10 a.m. and told him I would be waiting - with my dog (he said it would be OK). When asked, he assured me "it would take between an hour and an hour and a half." This is important because I live nearly 40 miles from the dealership.BUT - guess what happened when I arrived there at about 9:45 this morning? A woman there and Dan acted as though they never heard of me or know of the appointment I made. I had to remind them. Then Dan asks - as if he didn't already know - "will you be waiting?" "Well...yeah! I told you yesterday," I replied.Well, he says, "because it will take at least four hours."FOUR HOURS? "You promised me it would take an hour to an hour and a half.""We had a lot of cars today and everybody's waiting," he says, without an apology or hint of remorse or a sense of responsibility for the upset he has caused. Nor did he seem to care that he was going back on his word. THEY ARE NOT TRUE TO THEIR WORD.He then told me he'd talk to his manager. It was all baloney. He spent one second in the guy's office. Neither showed any remorse or a sense of responsibility for the mess they'd gotten me into. "The earliest the manager says we can get your car in is about two hours." (Then the job would take about two hours.)In other words, he's repeating the outrage he told me earlier - that he was not honoring the promises he'd made to me the day before.DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER!!!I simply said..."OK, Dan, I can't do business with you guys."And I suggest you spare yourself a similar waste of time and outrage. They really should have compensated me for my lost time, mileage, gasoline spent getting there and the fact that I'd now have wasted a day on which I could have gone elsewhere.SPARE YOURSELF THE GRIEF AND FIND A RESPONSIBLE DEALER!

This dealership is by far the best BMW professional dealership around. Living in Connecticut, it is worth the trip up versus the Hartford BMW dealer. The level of professionalism and willingness to work with you is outstanding. I have visited the BMW dealer in Hartford a few times over the years and the level of arrogance there was insane! I found this dealer a highly approachable and professional staff. They were extremely easy to work with and listened to all of my needs for a new car.

I usually am not a fan of the whole buying a car experience as I find most of the sales people I run into are pushy and not genuinely concerned about my needs. I must say that the experience I had at Gengras BMW dealing with Bryce Piemonte was perfect. I recently purchased a new BMW and the experience was fun and rewarding. We have been searching for a used Avalon ( not too old or too loved but feeling new) We could notfind what we wanted, ANYWHERE. We started looking for different types of cars . Which led us tothe Best service we have ever had.!!!! at BMW of West Springfield. Justin Isenberg and his manger , Chris Hughes Listened to OUR Wants!!! Really Listened . A young man met us in the lot and brought us to Justin . ( We had been driving many ,many, many, lots of other dealers and no one comes into the lot if your looking. They want you to go into them. ) Justin asked us qualifying questions in a conversation that was comfortable as sitting around the kitchen table. NO Pressure . He found us the car we were looking for a Toyota Avalon in BEAUTIFUL condition and a perfect price. We will consider a BMW on our next car . and will look for Justin again and again.. Was reluctant to purchase this incidental insurance but sales person , tony lam , assured me that it covered everything because they actually order the parts ! Well 4 months into the new x5 I needed the insurance and guess what ? It wasn't covered !!!! I was totally lied to to get the sale ! Tony used the " misunderstanding " card when confronted with his words !

I have owned five - soon to be six - BMWs. Al but one were from BMW dealers. Two buying experiences were fine/average - I don't even remember the sales people. One salesman was excellent and I would have gone back to him but he had left the dealership. One bad experience but that wasn't fault of saleswoman. I had several phone conversations and email exchanges with Bryce Piemonte before driving two hours from my home to look at a pre-owned wagon I had seen on auto trader. Obviously, I would not have taken the time to drive to Massachusetts if Bryce had not been courteous, helpful, and polite on the phone, but it was really a pleasure to meet him in person. I have a son the same age and I am pleased to report that Bryce is as professional and attentive as I would want my son to be with an older customer. He immediately established a friendly rapport without being ingratiating or slick. Certainly not your typical bad stereo type of a car salesman. I believe he was honest and straight forward. I had a trade with high miles and the financials were a bit tricky, but Bryce and the used sales manager, Chris Hughes, were patient and helpful making the numbers work.. I would buy another car from them tomorrow and will certainly go back for my next one. I will recommend the dealership to others even though it is a few hours drive (but a very easy one!) Well worth it and better to do business with than local Albany area BMW dealers. Long story short - Bryce was a pleasure to work with, as was Chris. Thanks.

i made an offer for a car they accepted it and send the sale agreement and i put down a 3000$ deposit and a loan approved,, after that they went silent, no one calling me back or updating me...i was calling them and leaving voice mails with no response.my car was still online and you could make inquiries about it i threatened to call bmw north america if i don't get any response. this is when thwy replied tht the car is sold and they refunded me my deposit!!

drove from Boston to Springfield to buy a particular car. In between the tightly packed cars was snow which made it very difficult to walk around cars without getting shoes wet and jacket dirty by rubbing against cars. The X3 I came to "buy" after talking with on the phone, had both wheels on passenger side damaged from what appears like a curb accident. Salesman said they would replace the wheels but I did not want to buy a car that was damaged. Given the challenge of walking around and looking for another X3 or an alternative due to snow and the lack of window stickers to show prices and other info, I drove back to Boston. It was late on a Sunday(3/22/2015) and all the cars were locked which made it difficult to sit in any of the other models. Otherwise I may have considered the X5 or one of the other X3's

I probably called/emailed over a dozen dealerships looking for a deal on a new BMW i3, and the folks at BMW of West Springfield had the best price by far. It was so competitive, I drove an hour and a half to check out the car. I met with Bryce Piemonte and Jerome Ballesteros, and both were extremely helpful, straightforward, and friendly. I would have left that day with the car, but unfortunately it was running low on charge, so Bryce offered to deliver it to our door. Little did I know that he would end up doing it personally! I know dealerships have runners who often deliver cars for them, but none were available when we needed the car and Bryce knew we were in a tight spot with our vehicle situation, so he offered to drive the car out on a Sunday, his day off. I can't say enough good things about him. If you want to work with a nice, honest person, he's your man.

For the past few months, my wife and I have looked at several dealerships and brands in hopes of purchasing an SUV. Although we're not from the West Springfield area, we saw a used BMW X3 online and decided to give the dealership a visit. Although that particular X3 didn't work out for us, working with Bryce Piemonte opened our eyes to a superior level of customer service than what we'd been receiving from other dealerships. Bryce was both professional and courteous in every interaction we had with him which caused us to realize the extra value BMW has to offer in terms of the sales experience. We ultimately ended up with a different used X3 and attribute a lot of our decision to the great service we received from Bryce. I'd highly recommend him to anyone in the market.

I bought a pre owned 2011 X 5 from BMW West Springfield in March of this year. After several months of trying to like the car, I couldn't as it was too big for me. I had always owned 5 series sedans prior, but bought the X 5 to transport my grandchildren.So I decided to contact the sales manager who I did the deal with (Chris Hughes). He returned my original email, where I told him that I would like to try and do a deal on a pre owned 5 series, telling me he was on vacation. That was in August. After repeated emails, then calls to the dealership, I never was able to reach him. At one point, a sales person called to see how many miles I had on the car (49,000) and I never heard back from him either. It makes you wonder what is wrong with the car they sold me, that doesn't want them to take it back in trade.Regardless, I travelled 100 miles to this dealership, and feel totally scammed. I will be contacting BMW USA in New Jersey to make them aware of this surprisingly bad service.

This has been by far the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a dealership in my life. I've recently visited to take a look at a used G35x where I was met by Robert Melendez. The car was not on the lot and he told me the reasoning behind this was because another employee took it home and would be in touch with me tomorrow to let me know what was going on with the car. The next day I waited for a call, and decided to reach out around 4pm and see what was going on. That is when I came in contact with Stephen King and told me that the car was indeed on the lot and he would have it on the upper lot where I could take it for test drive. When I showed up, the car was nowhere to be found. When I approached Robert he was extremely rude and told me he didn't call me and confused why I was there. I reminded him that he told me he would call me regardless which he failed to do and he continued to be unprofessional. He said he would look for the car and get Stephen for me. 20 minutes past and there was no sign of either of them and decided to go find Stephen myself and get to the bottom of it. I finally found him, where he told me that the car was sold and he tried getting ahold of me but conveniently called the wrong number even though I wrote it down as legible as you can possibly do. Whether this was just a way to not deal with me or lacking attention to detail its completely unacceptable and reflects highly on upper management. I put up a facebook status and tweet and it seemed like ALOT of people are not happy with your dealership. I will be going higher up with this complaint and will continue to discourage everyone from giving your dealership.Your employees should be reminded that they are car salesmen not brain surgeons and should show some humility

After searching for several months and dreading another dealership experience, I stopped by to check out a 2011 BMW. Bryce was very friendly and accommodating about test driving the vehicle (even for multiple visits). It is also very nice to be able to view service records of the vehicle and vehicle history without having to show any commitment. The negotiation process was very professional and honest. Upon agreeing on the price, the paperwork was handled in a very respectful manner. The transaction process was very quick compared to other dealerships. Bryce made sure everything would come together, follow through the process to insure the customer is happy. Being very picky about dealerships and sales reps, I would recommend Bryce Piemonte to anyone I know for a vehicle purchase.

He provided me with some very reasonable figures on a 3 series and an X3. This was my first time leasing and Bryce did a great job helping me understand the leasing process. This supportive approach helped me make a decision with confidence.What did surprise me was that the BMW I looked at actually turned out to cost less per month (all hidden fees included) than the Lexus IS and Audi A3 we were also considering. BMW of West Springfield offers great value. As long as Bryce stays at BMW of West Springfield I will make it my first stop when looking for my next vehicle.

Had a deal with West Springfield dealership until I went with my son so he could buy a 14 4 series coupe. Transaction and communication went well until Jerome made his offer for the trade in value for son,s 07 3 series coupe. Jerome, in our opinion, low balled value of trade and refused to negotiate or move from his initial figure. He became defensive and refused to explain how he arrived at that figure and was defending his position without merit. Accused my son of calling him a liar and took the "take it or leave it" position and also reneged on his original figure for the new car. When I reminded him that he was originally 1500 below what was eventually agreed to for my trade he remained defensive and unmovable, (he originally offered 18000 but came up 19500 for my trade). As i stated i already had a deal in place but left with my son feeling uncomfortable with Jerome's adversarial attitude and unprofessional demeanor. We went to Hartford and they offered my son 1500 more for the trade and 500 less than what Jerome's offer was and if we both both cars there they offered me an X3 for 400 less than what I agreed to with Jerome. Took the deal with Hartford to save money and send a message to the West Springfield dealership, which ended up losing 2 sales. I felt bad for Bryce, met with him and apologized, as he lost the sale to me for reasons beyond his control. he was great and very helpful but there wasn't anything he could do to turn this around. If Jerome had a taken a step back and reevaluated the situation he could have saved both sales but unfortunately he allowed his ego and arrogance in this situation to get the better of him.

This car dealer is been so excellent to us. The entire dealership is so professional. We bought our BMW with as low as 0.9% APR and at good Price. They did give us a good price for the trade in we did for Acura RDX. Steve the sales person is been so excellent and even the financial person who helped us with the finance is been so informative and helpful. I had a 6 months baby and without taking too long time due to the baby and we getting frustrated they did finish all the work very soon. 1 year we are driving the BMW and its an excellent car. The guys drove the car to our home and we got the car the very next day. I get very scared with car dealers but this dealership gave me the best experience. I dont have any complaints about them. I would recommend everyone to Gengras.

I just had to write about the excellent service I've received at BMW of West Springfield. I purchased my BMW here , and every time I come in for service(which is not often), I'm always greeted promptly and positively. The work is always excellent...I've got no complaints.Peter Koehler the service manager runs a well oiled department( no pun intended). Going to the service department at BMW of West Springfield is actually a pleasant experience which is saying a lot. Typically, having a car serviced is about as much fun as going to the dentist... not here. Specifically, I have dealt with Jason Paoletta,Dana Dyer, Garth Scott and of course Peter Koehler. I'm going to be purchasing another new BMW soon... The service department is the primary reason that I'll continue to purchase cars here.Keep up the good work guys,Cynthia

I looked at Lexus , Mercedes Benz and BMW brands, when I narrowed my choice to BMW. I searched far and wide for the particular color combination and options I wanted on a 3 series- when I had almost given up hope of getting what I wanted and thought I may have to resort to a factory order or settling for options I wasn't thrilled with,I went to BMW of West Springfield and encountered Norm Caruolo who introduced me to Jason Paolettta,did I ever luck out. From my first phone conversation with Chris,I felt comfortable that he would give me the information I needed and treat me fairly. Chris came highly recommended and did not disappoint. This has been a great experience thus far and I love my new BMW. Chris is always available to answer questions and spent a lot of time with me explaining the techy parts of the car when he delivered it to me. Norm Caruolo handled the financing part of the transaction and also was great to work with. He was friendly and informative and took the time to explain warranty options and go over the paperwork. the look and quick service, the way of your approuch to the customer i thought was awsome when i came back to have service done to my new car my looner was waiting for me it took me only a minute or two to get on my way and the same for its return. Had a BMW in 2008..loved it. Wanted a convertible this time and the 335i was perfect. I would have liked if it had some more of the features that the 5 series had like heads up. The parking "camera" is not up to par with other cars I owned..I have to let you know that it is a disappointment. Seems aniquated.My overall experience was very good..no complaints.

Very poor follow through from the sales associate. Promises were made and not kept. Telephone calls were not returned after the sale was complete. I had questions that arose after a couple of days of driving my new BMW, which I emailed to the sales associate. He told me he would get me answers but never followed through. I would use this dealership again, but would choose a different sales associate.

He was always pleasant and most formally explained all my options so I was not ever guessing. When I found the car I wanted the "ultimate driving machine"!! I have known Gualter for several years and was pleased to learn that he was at BMW of West Springfield. He made placing a factory order very easy and fast (this was the third factory order I have placed with BMW, but my first with Gualter). A fair deal was achieved with no hassles and no games. The order was placed and confirmed in minutes and I was provided with a production number with which I could trace my order on the BMW website. Gualter however has provided me with more current information than that provided on the website both by e-mail and phone. My car should soon be in New York and then at the dealer. Buying a BMW has been something I have always looked forward to. Best experience I've ever had with a dealership! I will be a BMW west Springfield customer for life! We were not harrassed by a salesperson the moment we arrived. We had to go in and ask for help( truly liked that) it's the way the building is situated in respect to used car lot- the salespeople can't see us. Even though, this may upset some, I liked having to ask for help. Michael was excellent and handled a problem I had with the car, no questions asked. He spoke with a mechanic and mechanic confirmed my thoughts. They took care of the problem. MGM, the general manager who we signed papers with, went out of her way to explain everything to us. She, too, was very professional.

Buying a new car is not high on my list of favorite things to do. The reason is simple. I's not spending the money for the purchase as you might think. It's the high pressure sales people that give me a feeling that they can't be trusted. Jason changed that for us. Tony was couteous and helpful in assisting me in narrowing down a new model that would fit my needs and my financial situation. I was trading in my 2010 Audi A4, and Tony gave me a fair firgure for the trade, unusual for most dealers who usually start at the very bottom. We were still a little off from the final numbers I was thinking, and Tony Called his sales manager, Andy Visilio over. Soon, with some compromise from both ends, we reached an agreement on both sides. Tony and Andy worked hard to meet me at a place I was comfortable making a deal. Later, Kim in financing got me financed and the deal was done. I was looking to pick the car up the upcoming Friday. It was Tony's day off, but he knew I wanted the car for the weekend. He had the other salesman, Jason, prep the car and have it ready for me on Friday. The service was great, as well as the price and the trade value on my former car. The car had a slight scratch on it and when Dani could do no more, he got his GM involved and had the scratch touched up to our satisfaction. He has taken the time after I bought the car to go over things with me in person such as the navigation system which I had found a bit challenging. Made an appoint for my 95 M3 for a no start issue, Took 5 hours to diagnose the car as a bad starter. Took 4 days for them to complete a starter install? seriously? It's a 4.7 hours of billable labor. They preformed a nice you need this and that and so forth.Then when I presented them a receipt that I had a starter purchased for this car from them they took consider amount of headache to get refunded the money for the part. When the car was returned they did not wash it nor did they remove the left over nuts under the hood where the technician glued a nut to a rubber glove to install the starter. The starter they removed was the updated threaded unit and they installed a superseded model that was not threaded.Communication was horrible at best. I will recommend the Parts division as they even told service that I had bought the starter from them but as with most dealerships that have gotten too big. No one communicates to the customer nor listens. They have lost any further business from me, with exception of Parts. I was not handed any sort of customer feedback to give them a rating of my experience and I don't think by there attitude that it would have helped anyway.

My first horrible experience was with Nicole in service. She was rude and disrespectful. Even though I made an appointment weeks in advance there was no loaner available and she asked me to wait out front 4 minutes for a rental. 25 minutes went by and no one from service did a thing despite my complaints. Finally the lot attendant got me a car to drive. I spoke with Kevin the GM and told him Nicole should not deal with the public. Two weeks later I returned to buy a pre owned 3 series and the sales person Jason detained me for a totally unnecessary two hours often disappearing for 10-15 minutes at a time. They had absolutely NO respect for my time. Finally Kim the finance manager came over who didn't know the difference between net and gross pay and I was able to get my keys back and leave. The next day at least three of them were supposed to call me and failed. Bad customer service there is viral as is customer disrespect and can only be attributed to Kevin the GM. I will never return to this dealer and because I believe the problems stem from the top I will never do any business with any Gengras dealership.

I was somewhat happy with BMW of West Springfield from the only time I took my car in for service (under warranty.) I have to agree with some of the reviews here. Setting up an appointment is next to impossible since the phone is never answered and voicemails never returned. I must have called them at least 20 times and left 3 messages over 2 weeks periods and never got a return phone call from them. I hope this was an isolated incident but I am not willing to go thru this again with BMW of West Springfield. They should figure out how to deal with the high volume of phone calls and promptly return the message. There are many other BMW Dealers in the Western Mass and Hartford area to choose from so I would not be coming back to BMW WEST SPRINGFIELD ever!!!

I brought in my z4 to have a new head light installed. They informed me that it needed a whole fixture $2100.00. I had to hold off to discuss with the previous ouner. When I picked the car up bot head lamps did not work and the 2nd one was filled with water. They basicly blew me off and said they were not responcible. It worked when I gave it to them and did not when I picked it up. The person who is fixing said most likly they caused the problem but wont admit to it. Inturn I am screwed. Dont ever go there. They are a rip off. I am filing a claim with BBB / BMW USA -----------I am telling you go some where else !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh It cost me $240.00 by them to get screwed.

The ultimate buying experience at BMW of West Springfield. I had a 2006 Honda Accord standard to trade and fell in Love with 2011 BMW 535xi. THIS DEALERSHIP IS UNFIT TO SERVE WOMEN CLIENTELEThis dealership is unfit to sell the nice cars they represent. On a saturday afternoon, I waited for close to an hour before anyone came to show me the car I had requested to test drive. In fact, I am pretty sure one of their client advisor turned down the receptionist's offer for him to help me purchase a new BMW when he saw me. A couple of weeks after my visit, the client advisor who finally helped me gave me a lease rate that was higher than market price. When I told him that we had a much lower lease price from another dealership he told me and I quote, "...what no heated seats? Well for a classy lady like yourself you probably will have to put some lambskin covers on your new BMW. You should make sure to bring your husband to the dealership where you got that quote to make sure you got the right deal on that car." Wow, I didn't realize time travel is possible as he clearly thought we lived in the 1940s when women had little rights!Luckily, I get to tell this inccident to all my friends and should make for a nice cocktail party story.

We brought our 1994 740i for transmission service. The lead tech locked the car for the night and the next morning forcefully turned the key in the door broke the lock and the plastic off of the key. Kevin said quote "your car your responsibility" and wanted to charge $700 to fix it. Also while the tech brought the car for a test drive, got a flat tire. Again, this time Patrick said "old tire not our responsibility it is $231 for a tire". We ended up taking the car from them with a flat still on the car as they wouldn't even put the spare on. We then took it to a tire place where it cost $89 for a new tire. The door still doesn't open and it has been over a month. I offered to go halves on the door even though I thought they should have paid for it and Kevin wouldn't even consider it. I feel that Kevin talked down to me because I am a woman and the car was not bought from them. This is an older car with some issues but I didn't need BMW-West Springfield to make things worse! I would not recommend BMW-West Springfield to anyone!

WORST experience of my life! I bought a BMW from them and 3 payments into it the transmissions blows and they tell me the only thing they can do is offer to buy it back from me for wholesale MINUS the cost of the transmission and then roll all of the negative equity from the loan into a new loan for another car from them! I could not get the owners to call me back and no one in the place calls you back, I had to keep calling and leaving messages and then when I finally got a hold of someone, they tell you, "Oh, I was just calling you." When I bought the car, they told me that they went through it with a fine tooth comb and that they gave the previous owner extra money on the trade-in because of the condition. You would think after this pitch that they would have stood behind it but they told me that, "We gave you 30 days so we don't have to do anything else." I will never make the mistake of buying a car from any of the gengras dealers again! EVER!

I have been a customer of BMW West Springfield since 2007. Anytime you deal with an issuse like a car you are going to have problems at some point. It is not the problem it is how it is handled that you care about. I got a great deal on my 2009 535xi from Grant. I waited a long time for the right car and the right price. Grant never tried to rush the situation he waited and got me what I wanted. He could have tried on mutiple occasions to try to sell me but did not. I would for sure buy another car there.On the service side, Kevin runs a great department. When you are dealing with expensive cars that sometimes break its frustrating. They are always friendy and keep me informed. They have gone above and beyond what you would expect to keep me coming back. If there is not a BMW loaner there is always a rental waiting. The have picked my car up at my office and have given me rides when needed. They have good willed stuff that has not been covered under warranty.I am confident going forward that if there is a problem they will get it fixed. Situations arise with cars that are frustrating and sometimes not ideal. They have always done the right thing.

I was having battery trouble. The service rep told me that it was because i don't drive my car far enough to work. I guess i live to close. The rep told me i was better off riding my bike to work. The only shining star at the bmw dealer is Mike Gauvin. He has gone out of his way to make the experience with the dealership better in every aspect from the sale to the service. So when i went to pick up my car after they had for three days i gave them back the present that they left me in the loaner underneath the passenger seat, a empty coors light beer bottle. If you are gonna buy a car from only buy it from Mike he seems to be the only person that can get things done in there. As for the service you might really want to consider looking else where. The service rep that i have been dealing with has tried to help me but her co workers have done nothing to help her, they chimed in to many times with too many wrong answers.

I purchased a X-3 from this dealership about two and half years ago and have dealt with Patrick Higgins on most of my service related issues and he has been very professional and courteous. I have had a few issues with the X-3 and Patrick has provided me with a loaner car and phone calls to update me on the service that has been done. Overall, I would recommend this BMW Dealership to anyone and if you feel the need call on Patrick.

Quick, easy and excellent customer service. I walked in, all sales staff were busy, the sales manager jumped up, took us down to the types of vehicles we were interested in, we picked one, and left a deposit. Next day, over the phone we negotiated a price and took delivery.

I called BMW of West Springfield to service my 535I because I had a warning of my daytime running light. I called and talked with Nicole who said just bring it in and we will get you in and out. I called a bit later and left her a message I would be in earlier and the time. Upon my arrival, she took care of me immediately and also checked my tires and other stuff. I also inquired about a ski rack. She amazingly got the info and serviced my car while I waited and had a cup of coffee. They even washed and cleaned my rims and they look great. My experience was great and Nicole was the best. David.

Have brought my car in 3 times and have never been happy with. Setting up an appointment is next to impossible since the phone is never answered and voicemails never returned. Brought my car in once to have the drivers door window regulator replaced and was told it would be done by 5 pm that same day since it was a common problem and they had assured me the part was in stock. 5pm came around that same day and I still had not received a call so I called but of course no one picked up or returned my voicemail that day so my car was left over night. The following day I assumed someone would call and let me know about my car but I was clearly holding out too much hope so I called again with no answer so I continued to call repeatedly until someone answered. Finally got through but surprise, they had no idea who I was or why my car was in. Once the service manager finally got a handle on the situation he told me my car would definitely be ready by the close of business that day. Once again never got a call at the end of the day and had to go another day without my car. So far two days without the car for a one day job with no calls to update or offers of service loaner. The third day rolled around and again by noon not even a call for an update so at this point I was fuming. After numerous calls yet again I was finally answered and told that they were "stuck" and didnt know how to fix it because a weld at the bottom of the window track was busted and it would need to be welded to continue with the fix. What!?!?!?!? I told them to fix the car and they tell me what the have found but say they cant fix it? I ask why and they say they dont have the equipment to weld (this was at the new facility in 2010 by the way) and would need to take it to a body shop to get it welded. So if thats what needed to be done then go do it!!! I brought the car in to be fixed, they tell me what needs to be done to get it fixed, but dont know how to get it done? After verbally assaulting all parties they finally agreed to take it somewhere to get welded and would have it finished by the end of the day. would you believe that after all of this that again they never called me later that day so finally I got a ride over to the dealership before closing to find out that indeed the car was done. Thanks for the call!!! the bill then came and i see that they tried to charge me for an off site visit to the tune of $150. Obviously there was no way I was paying for this and had to raise hell again just to get the charge taken off the bill. Finally I was ready to leave so they brought my car around and surprise, it was not only not washed but it was even dirtier. This was all only one of my experiences, the two other followed very similar tunes. Over all the worst dealership experience ever, I now drive 40 min to hartford instead and love it there. DO NOT GO TO BMW WEST SPRINGFIELD!!!

Buy your car here but go somewhere else for service. Unless you want to be told your car is fine to drive after the steering wheel lock sensor goes off and then have it break down in the middle of nowhere days later. I had to have my car towed to the dealership (I live in NH over an hour away) after it wouldn't start. I asked if I could get a loaner and they told me there were none available. It's been there for 5 days now and every time I call to find out the status of my vehicle I'm told they'll look into it and call me back. Well they never call back, and then when I do they act like they don't even know who I am and they have the audacity to ask me if I have one of their loaner vehicles. Of course I don't have a loaner you told me there were none available. The people are nice enough but they never follow through and they take forever. It took them 7 hours to change and rotate my tires one day.

I had a difficult problem with my ABS/DSC system. warning lights came on . Two sensors were replaced , and ultimately the abs computer had to be replaced. the work was done correctly and properly. The facility is only about a year old, with modern equipment with a well trained staff.I do not understand the previous ratings. My experiences with them have been just the opposite.

3 out of 4 less then good service experience visits. First, the door open/lock and emergency flashers buttons in center console by the shifter weren't working. Waited nearly 2 weeks to get an appointment and was told yes it's not working and I'd have to come back as they didn't have the part. Very common part for an 04 330xi as the service manager stated they replace a lot of them...nice, 2 60 mile round trips for me.Second, had a valve cover leak at 58k and still under extended warranty, $50 co-pay. Asked them to check the cabin air filter as it was sucking in oil fumes from the leak, they stated all was well. A few days later I had noticed all kinds of dust flying around inside the car, windows were closed as this was December. Checked the cabin air filter and found that they had just flipped it over and crammed it back in place. Most the dirt and dust was still stuck on the underside of it but a lot had been sucked into the car. Talked to the service manager and was given a new one by him and was told how disappointed that this had happened.Third, oil change at 60k, did not go for the 60k second inspection for $700 at that time. $102 to change the oil. Got home a few hours later after some errands and check the oil level in my garage and found the level way over the dipstick mark. I have an oil extraction pump which can draw it from the dipstick tube and found nearly 2 quarts over, this could have blown seals or caused bearing failure because of oil foaming.I will not be getting my car serviced there again. I'm not sure what I'll do as the next nearest dealer is about 100 mile round trip.

This dealership is the nearest one, so I have to go there for oil change.They always let me drop the car in the morning and make me pick it up when they call( 4-5 pm).WTF! 10 hr for just oil change! There is no loaner vehicle for oil change. So I have to make somebody to bring me.I think they just make people drop their car in the morning and start working. Then what is the point of appointment?Last time when I visit the dealership for the service, they left a scratch near the rear driver side door. I was quite sure it was not there before the service. So I ask them to fix it.At first, they told me that they need to check the check-in sheet then call me.I waited 4 weeks now, I call them around 10 times to get the answer. Their answer was always "wait", "general manager is on vacation" something like that. Vacation for 4 weeks?Then finally, I was able to reach today and the answer is following."We do not feel like we did that, but if you bring the car in then we will make it look better by our own hand"My car needs body shop work, not your hand work!They just ignored me.Can you believe it?Go to hartford or near Boston for sale and service.

In Mass. for college, and had to find a local dealer. This was the nearest. From my first service, never had a decent experience. The service appointment had to be three weeks in the future without a loaner vehicle. Employees were unfriendly and not very helpful. <br>I had problems with my X5 and called about what the issue might be. I was told it was nothing and given an appointment a few weeks in the future. Took the car on a road trip and it broke down in the middle of nowhere. I was disappointed the dealer wasn't able to schedule an emergency appointment and was unwilling to check any components I was worried about. This is probably the worst BMW dealership I've seen. Unfortunately, there aren't many choices out here. Only advice: skip this dealership.
