I took my car here to have it checked regarding a recall, specially a brake stopper on 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS. The technician stated that the part was no broken but they would replace anyways. When I went to check out, the told me I still had to pay the 130$ diagnostic fee since the part was not the reason for my ongoing issue of my vehicle braking when I’m not pressing the brake pedal. Considering this was a recall where the part was replaced, this should have been covered under the recall warranty. The reason I know this was the issue is my car never that issue again after it was replaced. Only take your car here if you are willing to fight to get what you deserve.

The staff are friendly and professional. My disappointment is over the fact that my 2020 Tucson turned a year old yesterday and there is discoloration on the trim of the door panels that Hyundai has refused to address. I was told that there is nothing that can be done. It was even recommended that I go to the auto store to get something for my truck. Consequently, I wish I knew about their unwillingness to address a customer's concerns when I purchased my truck. Customer satisfaction is not a one time experience that only occurs during the initial purchase of a vehicle. It's a reflection of a total customer experience. It's the comparison between a customer's expectations and the type of experience they actually receive. Hyundai's brand, commercials, and values state one thing; but true customer satisfaction goes hand in hand with a great customer experience. Yes, I love the Hyundai brand and the professionalism of the personnel, but when you fail to meet my needs as a customer, your Customer Service Score has dwindled down from the 5 star rating it should receive. Your actions or failure to act has clearly shown me where your values are. Word of mouth is the most effective means of advertising whether it's positive or negative. I am not a happy customer with the fact that Bob Bell Hyundai will not address the issue with the trim on my truck and I plan to share it with colleagues, church members, family and friends.

I had the best experience with Bob Bell! I highly suggest going in to see them. I talked to Mr. Franklin for about a month prior to making my purchase. He was very patient with me and not pushy at all as are most salesman who are looking to make the sale. He respected my time and my thoughts as far as getting what I wanted. The only part of completion I did not like was the Finance office not hearing me out when I asked my fiance hos opinions on packages. Other than that I even enjoy going to get my service done there!

100% would recommend this dealership to anyone! Cindy was our sales person and she was amazing. She called me the day after me giving up looking for a Hyundai Palisades. I wasn't done because we couldn't find any available because we were willing to wait. I was done because all the dealerships I looked at before were asking $7k to 8k over msrp. From the moment Cindy contacted me I knew this was going to be an enjoyable experience. Everyone at the dealership was polite, the manager, the finance manager, there was another salesman name Cedric & a new salesman ( I did not get his name) who was so nice to us when we came in to test drive when Cindy was not there (we came in for a test drive on her day off) not pushy at all and fair on their prices. Cindy kept me updated on when the car arrived which was about 10 days early then expected, the paperwork process was simple and easy going. We have been talking non stop to our friends and family how nice this dealership and process was! Thanks again Bob Bell Hyundai

I bought my Tucson from Bob Bell Hyundai and was only anticipating to have it serviced that first initial time. That all changed after experiencing how they treat their customers. I'm basing this opinion not only what I experienced but also how others were being treated too. The quality of service starts, just as you pull up for your appointment. The service tech comes out to greet you, before you even have the chance to get out of your vehicle. For those who choose to wait for their vehicle, which I do, they have a nice waiting area. Once your vehicle is completed, service tech comes to you to and goes over everything that was done. The quality of service doesn't end there, the cashiers are friendly too and service is reasonably priced.

There was nothing in this experience that would make me recommend Bob Bell. There was a hidden freight charge that didn't come up until I was hours into the car buying experience, even though I'd reviewed options online, spoken with someone on the phone, and then come in. I spoke with someone the day before visiting and identified a car I was interested in. I arrived at the dealership around noon, and they couldn't find my car. And then they couldn't find the next car. So I left to give them time to get their xxxx together, then came back. I drove the car. I agreed to buy the car. And then it was hours before I was able to leave. It was after 5pm before I was finally out of the dealership. Maybe that's normal. Maybe I'm naive to expect something different. Maybe I should have just walked out when I spotted the hidden charge. I definitely regret paying it.

Overall had a good experience here purchasing my new 2016 Tuscan. My husband bought his new Sonata here last year, and this will be my first Hyundai (previously only ever had Nissan's). I know a fair amount about cars, did alot of research - so knew what I wanted when I got to the dealer. I only looked at 1 vehicle, as it was the only one with the features I wanted & would trade my current car in for. The money game is always a little pushing & shoving, but I honestly didn't appreciate the negative tone when I advised what I needed to pay per month. I ended up getting that monthly payment to what I needed to be by increasing money down, and negotiating a few things. Would have been alot easier if things would have been explained better from the "get go". Alot of wasted time. Also was not happy about not getting a 2nd key to my vehicle the day I drove it away. 3 weeks later, I now have a 2nd key fob. Took alot of following up by me, time out of my work day, and much more time at the dealer to get the 2nd key.

I loved my picked up Product, 2016 Hyundai Elantra SE value edition. The well negotiated Internet price, along with the product quality, is very attractive. The gentlemen who sold me the car was very kind and patient, but I can't say that about the Finance Manager or the Maintenance Team. If they were the ones selling me the car, I wouldn't have purchased. They were rude and aggressive. Also the inside of my car wasn't wiped down from the factory delivery.

Sales staff over the phone offered to uphold truecar valuation of car as well as throw in something extra if I came by that same evening to finalize purchase. When I came it, it took a lot of back and forth for them to uphold the truecar pricing and they did not include anything else as an incentive to come in a purchase (i.e. trunk security cover) as discussed on the phone. Sales staff made me seem like I didn't know what I was talking about and that I was just a little girl...I look young for my age but did extensive research and negotiate contracts for a living. I already knew the model and color of car which was available at this dealership and a fair price to pay. Sales staff was very rude and aggressive during this process with the sales manager being stand offish and rude (didn't make eye contact, didn't smile, didn't say hello during subsequent interactions). Once I made the decision to purchase, my sales person made a complete 180 turn and was the friendliest person. All of this took an EXTREMELY long time (3 hours). After I made the decision to purchase the sales staff kept me hanging around either showing me the features of the car or just sitting around (another 1 hour) only to find out that the financial system was slow or down that evening and I'd have to come back the next day. They did allow me to take my car home but I came back the next day. When I came in the next day, it took another 1.5 hours to go through the final financing process. I had an appointment and my sales person wasn't there so I had to wait, then the financial person wasn't ready or was busy with someone else which the dealership should have been prepared for because I had an appointment. The financing process was what I expected, lady was very nice but it took me a total of about 5.5 hours. This is unacceptable for someone who knew which car they wanted and was willing to purchase that same evening. No offers were made after I had to come back the second day such as the trunk security cover or something else. Also, while car was provided to me 'washed' it seemed like it was only rinsed off and quickly dried. Along the bottom of the car, there were still dirt marks and grease marks from transport as well as a big gob of grease on the driver door handle. I am only going back to the dealership because they offer 2 years of free oil changes but all other services will be completed by another dealership. After 2 years I will not be back to Bob Bell Hyundai.

Although the buying experience was very good once you start dealing with the service department it's much more on the negative side. I purchased a 2015 Sonata and overall it has been a good vehicle. Prior to that I was a long term Toyota person.Very disorganized, and no consideration for your time and problems. I have utilized them for service five times now and each time was frustrated and upset. This last time they actually sent me out on a lengthy road in a vehicle that could be considered unsafe. Luckily, I am an experienced driver and was able to compensate for the condition so myself and my family were not injured and I was able to get back to the dealership. Phone calls to tell them about the condition go unanswered and no one seemed concerned. Parts take a week to get so you are just expected to let the vehicle sit or compensate for the condition. It all seems to revolve around being overloaded with work and very disorganized. Even with an appointment they may not complete your vehicle the day you bring it in. Buy the car there, but take it somewhere else for service.

The Sales Manager has no accountability over himself or his employees. We are quite dissatisfied with the way we were tried and never given an apology by the dealership. I have been looking at the 2014 Hyundai Elantra Limited for a while. I had looked at a couple of other dealers before I made it to Bob Bell, just because the other two were a little closer to home. Bob Bell was wonderful. Before I went, I had been chatting with Christin Green about my options and answered all of my questions ahead of time. When we walked in the door we met Bob. he Was extremely nice and easy going. They gave me enough for my trade in, and they worked to get me down to the payments i needed with everything I wanted in the car. I didn't have to sacrifice any of the options that I really wanted. The other dealerships tried to downsize me into the basic model. Went we went back to buy the car, Bob made sure I got to meet Christin in person since her and I had been talking over emails for a week prior. She was great and made sure I was happy with everything.I would reccommend bob bell. I have always heard great reviews about them, and now I want to add to it. Thanks so everyone who worked with us.

He answered all of my questions and made the process not as painful as it otherwise could have been. I came here because it was the closest Hyundai dealership to me and it had the car that I wanted in stock, which I regret more then anything. The first visit was pleasant enough and I was offered a good price. I came back a week later after I ha made my decision with some paperwork which gave me a supplier discount. They offered me a price that was $700 higher and would not honor the price from the last week, eventually telling me "we don't even want to sell you the car for this price, there is no way you were given that other offer." Long story short, after filling out the applications and some paperwork in the morning, I made an appointment to come back at 5pm to take delivery. I came back at 5pm and waited for 10 minutes before anyone even approached me because my sales guy was too busy to even tell me he would be with me in a minute. After that, I get seated and the guy disappears for 15 minutes without telling me where he is going. I stand up at that time and find him chumming it up with another sales guy in the Ford dealership. By the time the manager got involved, I was already out the door. At which point he told me he didn't want to sell me the car and that if I came back on the property, the cops would be called. I tell him the situation and he tells me "sir, you're stressed, so you're taking it out on us". Everything was already in my name, all I needed to do was sign on the line.If it wasn't for the fact that I needed a car and they were the only one with the trim and color I wanted, I would have walked out. The lady in finance was very kind and finally started walking me through the process she was going through. The only thing she did was ask me to give them only good reviews or to just not fill out any surveys since I had such a bad experience.

My salesman, John Ryan, convinced me to purchase a vehicle on a day where I didn't think I would have time to go through the financing. I promised to return on a different day, but he persisted and promised I would be finished in time. Not only did I not finished even within an hour and a half of the time he promised but the only reason I couldn't come back to buy a vehicle is because he was going on vacation. The bill of sale also had two different Vehicle Identification Numbers.Further, I recently got a notice from the MVA that I would be fined because my vehicle (which I traded in at the time of sale) was uninsured! The dealership never sent the transfer in.I emails John Ryan 3 times this summer. He concluded that the MVA paperwork was my responsibility which is insanity. He also sent me an email saying how "hurt" he was by my survey, that I made him seem like a "liar and a cheat." Which he was.

Dealer was NO Hassel!! Found car on-line and placed my offer, they accepted and I went for a test drive, was able to take me time and even take it to my mechanic for his approval. With a thumbs up, I called Mr Miller to get me the carfax, he had it ready and waiting. I shopped around and only found pressure salesman, like they really needed to make a sale, no matter what I said I could afford. Never felt pressure from Mr Miller. Clean up and delivery was as promised. Also, worked with Kim in finance she was patient and professional was able to answer all my questions. The Bell Care program really sinched the deal for me. I brought my car in a 2010 Elantra, I really do like this car. Transmission went bad with 40K normal driving. Made an appointment, explained what the problem was, got a call that they could not duplicate the problem, but the transmission fluid is dirty, and i had missed two services, I did not miss any services . I just do not have them do it and was told that a transmission flush could be the answer, I was not convinced, but I thought okay, price was up front so i have no beef with that.Transmission Flush was done , next call Mr. Evans you need a new transmission, I already knew this.I guess that since tha car was still under warranty (America's Best Warranty, thi service would be covered because it actually confirmed the problem, the transmission was bad. No it is not, this service was needed to show that the care is being maintained, to standard. Hyundia reccommeds this service at 60K not 40 K, they do reccomend checking the fluids, well why do you think that i made the appointment. Fliud was not low , but fluid was failing because of too much heat.Needless to say, it cost me 216.29 to confirm what i already new. Here is the kicker motor compartment was not super dirty when the car went in the shop. Who ever serviced the car do not even take the time to wipe the excess fluid off of the motor compartment. Last time i checked transmission fluid is like brake fluid Highly corrosive

I would highly recommend this dealership. Leon Johnson was friendly, easygoing and made me feel at ease. He never pushed me into anything. I don't trust easily, but I trusted him right away. My boyfriend and I loved working with Leon, he is so down to earth. My Lemon, was acting up and I just wanted to look at a Hyundai, wanting one for months, and wound up buying a Red Accent. I have had this car for 3 days and am in love with it, I never want to stop driving...I take the long way to anywhere I'm going, lol. Thank you Leon for making this such a wonderful experience.

For once, I had a good experience at a dealership service center. I had some expensive issues with my car and I couldn't wait to get them fixed at home. I brought it to Bob Bell and worked with Chuck. He was awesome. He explained everything in depth, allowed me to speak with the guy actually working on my car and worked with me on costs. Only downside was how long it took, but then again, I wasn't waiting for my car to be done. Everyone there was great and very friendly. I recommend this service center and I'll definitely go here again if anything else serious happens to my car.

Rick Berman was most unethical/unfriendly (ill-minded) person I ever met in my past 25 years. When I talked to one of his sales associate, he mentioned that if I 've a legitimate offer (quote) in hand, they can honor that. I shared them the price quote I got from (their) local SHEEHY dealer, they assured me that they match it. When I drove all the way from Richmodn VA to their place and reached them at 8:50pm in the night, they simply said THEY CAN'T. How unethical it was? When I shared the price quote over phone they should have told me clearly whether it works out for them or not. They bluntly told me on face after I get there, saying that the quote I got was not at all a legitimate one, and nonody can match it. Gues what, finally I got the new Santa Fe for the same price, from my local Richmond Dealer within 2 days. Rich Berman and his sales associate are not true professionals/ethical sales persons, and I do not recommend them. Rick has used harsh lanuage, my collegue was witnessed it as well. If I see similar positing from any other consumers in upcoming months, I'll standby as witness for them too. Hopefully, nobody else get this kind of experience like I had. I wish the dealership management take care of him before he damages its reputation and cost them much.

Bottom line up front...I could have not asked for a better buying experience. Working with Mr. Johnson was excellent. I made an appointment to meet him at about 1200 noon on a Saturday. At about 12:30 pm, I called Mr. Johnson to explained my situation and said it would probably be after 4 pm before I could meet with him. This shift in time did not phase Mr. Johnson one bit. When I arrived, Mr. Johnson greeted me as if he had known me forever. We looked at several Sonata's, before chosing the Venetian Red Sonata (at my grandson's beckoning). The buying process was fairly easy. Now what I did not expect came after my purchase. Thus far, Mr. Johnson has called me monthly inquiring about me and my new car (I purchased my car in May 2010). Just by making those calls make my purchase personal and not a statistic. Thanks.

i pretty much made this a day long process and the folks at bob bell made things rather enjoyable. while i was convinced on buying a used vehicle upon arrival, i eventually drove out with exactly the car i wanted. i was not pushed into this decision in any way and in fact was encouraged to compare all numbers on used and new and weigh the decision. all of the folks i dealt with that day were professional and courteous. each new their product and gave me every opportunity to dig as deeply as neccessary to get answers to my questions. i was an enjoyable experience overall and that is not how i pictured my experience at the beginning. thanks to all of you at bob bell!sincerelybill getz

It was great working with Leon. He did not pressure me at all. Has a good attitude. In some places that I have been in recent years, I have had to produce my driver's license and sign a form to be able to see a car or talk to anyone. I did not like that, and that was not the way at Bob Bell with Leon. Thank you.

We'd heard a lot of good things about Hyundai from family and friends. My stepfather owns an Elentra and encouraged us to check them out. We were trading in our 2002 Camry and had automatically considered another Toyota or Honda since that is what we had bought in the past. When we went to Bob Bell we met Tracie and she was very patient with us, working overtime to finish the deal. She had us drive the Elentra and felt a bit cramped, the same reason we rejected the Honda Insight. Then we saw the beautiful 2011 Sonata. After driving it we had to have it. The rest is history.

Avoid this dealership AT ALL COST. Our sales rep, Charlie, was very deceptive. He told us the dealership based their used car using KBB, but gave us a figure that was way higher than that of KBB. They attempted to trying to get us to finance with them even before agreeing on the car price.

I have bought many new vehicles in my life, but this had to be the best handled sale I have ever had the pleasure of. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and courteous and knowledgeable of any questions. I recommend Bob Bell to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. On July 28 I took my 2008 Sante Fe in for my rear window not operating. I was not able to get the loaner I had been promised when I purchased the SUV. I was told that loaners was only given out when they where available and was pointed out that I needed to read the small print. Service dept. never work on my SUV that day calling and told me they where short of technicans that day. I requested my car than be ready by 12 noon on July 29th. I recieved a phone call from Chuck who was very rude and combative that they now needed to order a glass window. There was nothing wrong with the glass window when I took the SUV to the shop. Chuck than told me that they needed to hold my car another day. Again telling me they had no loaner and preceed to ask where I bought the SUV and did I buy it new from Bob Bell or used. Which has nothing to do with the warrenty they need to service. Day 3 without my SUV for a window that was off track.

Internet sales was great; vehicles listed on web site with pricing. We submitted an inquiry and were called back very quickly. We scheduled an appointment. When we arrived, we were met by internet sales and manager, OK so far. We had already selected a vehicle. Did test drive, agreed to buy, THEN it took almost 4 hours to complete a cash sale! Had to suffer through video explaining need for clear coat (ala Fargo), and extended warranty, both of which we did not want and would not buy. Car was a salesman car with 1800 miles, not brand new but acceptable, but this should have been noted on web listing. Agreed to trade based on Carmax appraisal or our old car which they matched. In general, OK experience. I would have expected to complete a cash sale within an hour since we had selected the vehicle, contacted the dealer ahead of time, and had no haggling or loan paperwork. My best purchase experience was at Carmax for a new Nissan, and this was nowhere near as good (but Carmax doesn't sell new Hyundai in MD)

I was trying to purchase a vehicle through the Internet. While the price was fine (just okay), the service started out alright. I got my questions answered until the final email. I asked for pictures of the exterior and the interior of the car. I never received them. I told them Friday, I was coming to get the car Saturday. I still have received no answer and will NEVER EVER recommend this dealer to anyone know. I didn't even see the car on the website which, seems to me, that they sold it basically out from under me. It's a good thing I didn't go there. I am 111 miles away and would have appreciated some kind of email from them. THESE ARE THE WORST PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH AND WOULD RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!

I was looking at possibly purchasing a new Hyundai Santa Fe. I visited the dealer in order to look at the Santa Fe and to get pricing. The sales person was unfriendly, unhelpful and acted as if I was more of an irritation rather then a customer interested in purchasing a vehicle.
