I recently visited bob sight kia on Noland road and met with Sabrina to go over vehicles and to get my car sold she was the BEST sales associate I have ever worked with she showed me all the options on my vehicle got me in the vehicle I wanted and the price range I was going for. I didn't feel pressured at all working with her on getting a vehicle. I was in and out in about 2 hours with test driving the vehicle signing my paperwork and selling my vehicle to them quickest paperwork I have ever done! Bob sight also don't add on all different fees like the surrounding dealerships. I highly recommend working with SABRINA!! She's awesome and was so pleasant to work with!!!!! Thank you Sabrina!!!

Setting up a time to go look at cars, coming to a decision, and going through the purchase process was quick and easy. I am grateful for the great deal I received. The car was in great shape mechanically and I am pleased with my purchase. Most of the sales people were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. I had a great feeling walking into the dealership and throughout the buying process. However, in a few areas, I believe that the customer service could be a bit better.One concern in my experience was a minor issue...detailing the vehicle for delivery. My salesman assured me the car would be fully detailed prior to delivery. I even pointed out a few places that were soiled and asked if they could take care of them, to which the salesman responded it would be done during the detailing. However, when I received it, it was obvious that the whole car had not been cleaned but merely spot cleaned. I could have done a better job myself and now will have to. I guess everyone has their own subjective idea of what "clean" is. A week later, I came by to ask to have the tires checked because the tires were a bit low. Upon arrival, I was told that "all of the service guys are at lunch, can you come back later." Besides, the 4 guys standing right in front of me working (and I guess they couldn't do air), why would you have all techs out to lunch at the same time?I remember sitting in the salesman's office reading a sign from the dealership talking about "every vehicle will be spotless before delivery, as well as other words I don't recall.... but the basic jist was that the customer's experience should be painless and flawless. Mine was close, but not quite.

He is not high pressure and he really tries to work us to find exactly what we need and want. He is great at making sure all features on the vehicles are explained completely. I have a 2014 Kia Optima and I took It In for an oil change.and tire rotation. Nate Sousley was my Service Advisor. He was very polite, helpful and friendly. Waiting time was very short and service was excellent. This Kia Is the second Optima that I have purchased from Bob Sight Kia and I absolutely have no complaints of any kind. I recently took my Kia Sorento to the service center to have a inner door panel fixed. While I was there, I was informed about a problem with my tires and how it could later affect my AWD vehicle. By informing me of my need for new tires, Jack saved me thousands of dollars down the road. He made sure my car was looked over carefully while I was there so any problems found could be taken care of prior to them turning into a major problem.

I bought my KIA 12/12/15. I had a situation where something got on my car that I couldn't get off with washing and rubbing. I took it to the service department at Bob Site Kia and they were able to come up with a compound that removed the problem without taking off the finish! I also have had 2 oil changes and had my tires rotated. I was very pleased when I received the best treatment from Nate and everyone else there. Nate answered all my questions and didn't treat me like a dumb woman. Yes, I have experienced that attitude at other places. Cudos to all the staff at Bob Site Kia in Independence, Mo.

Disappointed I wasn't able to trade my old vehicle in on the new one. They basically told me they didn't want it. They offered me less than half the KBB trade-in value. Now I am stuck having to sell the car myself. If you are planning to trade, I would recommend you go elsewhere. Also, had a lengthy wait to see finance guy.

This is the first time I've had something wrong with my Kia Optima since I bought it new over 2 years ago. I had water leaking on the passenger side, called and set up an appointment, they took my car in the second I arrived, and fixed the problem in 10 minutes! Also they told me they would continue to check the hose that was leaking every time I bring my car in for an oil change. Excellent service and a great group of employees!

I have been coming to Bob Sight Kia since 2011 to service my vehicle. I love that the staff is reliable and will tell you what repairs your car needs without being super pushy. I found that I would need a new battery soon when I went in for a routine oil change. I was quoted a price and went home to consider my options. Nate (the staff member) also said he entered in some kind of coupon code onto my account and within a week I received a discount coupon for the battery service. It was a great deal, the installment was done quickly and everyone was great and made sure I was happy with my service.

So when my husband needed a good reliable car, I went back to Bob sight Kia in Independence and The service was the same with the same group of sales men. I was in and out with a car in under 2 hours it was amazing they didn't show me anything I couldn't afford and got my husband a Kia Rio that he loves and in budget. Brian Buehler was our sales guy and he took the time to look up my last car purchase to see if my same sales guy was still at Kia and he was but he was promoted to a manager, so Brian continued to work with us and find a car my 6'4" husband could drive within our small budget. I am soo pleased with Kia in Independence I hope anyone looking for a car comes and speaks with the sales men here they are amazing and understand that we need a car to drive but we have other bills and stuff to pay for too. I am always able to feel confident my vehicles are getting the best service. This service department is very honest - once another auto repair shop told me I needed something repaired, so I took the car to the dealership to have the repairs done. It turned out it was unnecessary and the other place just wanted to run up my bill. The service advisors always make sure the car is repaired to my satisfaction and they do everything possible to keep things within my budget.

I have had my vehicle for about 2 1/2 years and always bring it to this dealer for service. They are always professional and take care of my needs in a timely manner. I brought my vehicle for a full detail and oil change. I thought I had cleaned out all of my personal items but when I arrived to pick up my vehicle I was surprised to see our tablet laying in the front seat along with other misc items I had missed. I had no idea the tablet was in the car and would've never known if the employees had stolen it. I was beyond impressed with their professionalism and integrity. Even the pocket change was placed in the front seat. I was also very pleased with how well they detailed my car. Looks better than the day that I bought it! I could not be happier with the work done. Paul was most helpful, not pushy like some places and very knowledgeable. I had a hard time trying to figure out what I wanted as it had been 10 years since I've had to buy a vehicle. I tried several ones after telling him what I thought I wanted and he suggested the suv that I eventually bought. I knew as soon as I drove it that it was the one for me. I came back the next day and we agreed on a price. This is our fifth new Kia and the fourth from this dealership. This experience was great. They advertised a discounted price on their website and honored it with no haggling. We emailed and set up an appointment. When we arrived, they had the car pulled up for us to test drive. They even offered to bring the car to my office to test drive if I wanted to. I would highly recommend this dealership.I had gone to another dealership in Shawnee Mission first because they had advertised a much lower price, but when I arrived, found that they advertised falsely, hiding $2,515 is costs from the advertisement. It was really refreshing for Bob Sight Kia to not do things like that!

I cannot say enough about Jim's professionalism, and No, I am not getting paid, nor was I asked to leave a review by Jim or anyone else at the dealership. The only unfortunate negative with my car purchase would be the fact that I was charged an "Administrative Fee" of $200.00, which was a serious load of hooey, especially since my financing was never a consideration with my auto purchase since I went through my CU. Not to mention, I only spent a total of 10 minutes in the Finance office with Mike (who lacked any customer service skills - a simple thank you and eye contact goes a long way). Thank you agian Jim!! I was treated with respect by the sales manager, Greg Weyrauch and by the sales rep, Sal Termini, and I believe they provided the best purchase plan for me on my new 2015 Kia Sportage. The dealership went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. This is the 2nd Sportage we have purchased, previous was a 2012 Sportage, and they are an outstanding value and vehicle. I came to Bob Sight Independence Kia because I was referred by my friend that purchased a car from Bryan and assured me that Bryan would take great care of me. I was very skeptical about going to another car dealership because I was pressured and hassled in the past.with other dealerships. I told Bryan I was not needing a car but might be ready to look for something. He took the time to show me around the lot and help me figure out what I wanted in a new car. He sent me home with a car that night giving me a chance to see that this really was the car that I wanted. Of course I fell in love with the Soul. Bryan was very nice and did everything to make my car buying experience pleasant. I was very worried about the finance guys but he assured me that the process would be easy and talked me through my anguish issues. As it turned out the finance guys were not like I had experienced before and the process was painless I got a good rate and I was not forced to add other charges to my purchase. I have since purchased a Sorento from Bryan and will not do business with any other salesman. Last week I brought my car in for an oil change and Bryan greeted me in the service lounge. I told him I was thinking to trade in my Sorento for a Sedan car. While my Sorento was having its oil change he showed me the 2014 Cadenza. He explained all about the options available on this vehicle, including things i wanted but didnt have on my car. As it turns out he had one fully loaded on the lot and was ready to show it to me. I didnt think Bryan could treat me any better than before but I was wrong. We took a test drive and he explained everything in the car and what it did and how it worked, I drove the car off the lot that day and love my Cadenza even more than my other 2 kias, I will refer Bryan and Bob Sight to my friends and family that are looking to buy a car.

On April 3, 2014, I experienced basically my first accident in my life time. I am a 61 year old lady who really had never experienced buying a car by myself. Yes, I took a friend of mine (a man) just in case because my feelings are a lot of times car salesmen see a lady wanting/needing to buy a car by herself and to me they think I have an easy mark here. (Sorry if I offended anyone, but I have seen this happen to women.)I had riven a Kia on a trip I had back in October of 2013 and I really liked how it drove and like the car itself and the ride. I had been saying my next car was either going to be a Volkswagen or a Kia. I had a friend who drives a Kia and he had been telling me how much he really liked his Kia so this was on my radar.On Saturday, April 15, 2014 I arrived at Bob Sight Kia in Independence, Mo. with my friend who was with me for support and to ask the smart questions a lot of times we women either don't know to ask or don't think to ask. As we got out of our vehicle we were approached by a salesman by the name of Bryan. Bryan was a very interested young man as to what I was looking for and I really appreciated that fact. I told Bryan what I thought I wanted and he asked me why I thought I wanted what I had told him. I told him the reason and he asked me if I knew a lot about Kias. I said no, not a lot, but that I had driven one and really liked the feel of the car and the ride and how inexpensive as far as mileage went I thought the Kia was. He explained to me that I could buy a brand new 2014 Kia and could get the 100,000 / 10 year warranty on it and he thought that I would like that. I told him I would and asked if he could price me a vehicle. We went to Bryan's office and within 3 hours I was driving a brand new 2014 Kia Soul off the lot.Now you could say, well, yea, I needed the car because of the accident and it didn't make much of a difference in the salesman that I ended up with a Kia. WRONG, my experience with Bryan could not have been better. I was not pressured at all into buying my new vehicle. He gave me the facts and I told him my story and what I needed and he gave me his best opinion in my situation.I had to return to that dealership the following Monday to pick something up that I needed. As I was leaving the building I decided I had had such a good experience and Bryan was such a nice, young, good, decent, honest, easy to talk with salesman his superior's should know how I felt and that I felt they had a jewel amongst them. His superiors told me how much they appreciated me telling them the good things that had happened to me. They said they were used to hearing the bad things, but they didn't receive hardly any compliments. The reason I decided to tell Bob Sight Kia how good and nice of a salesman Bryan was is because in todays world businesses have forgotten how to treat the customers. We do not have customer service in today's business world. Employees think they do not have to give anything but that they should be handed everything on a silver platter. Bryan didn't feel that way. He truly was a young man that believed in his product enough to tell me the customer what he felt was so good about his product in such a nice, polite, friendly, and non-pressured way I was excited about buying a car from him. Bryan should be told of his good accomplishments especially in our business world today and Bob Sight Kia should be proud to have an employee such as Bryan. Not only is their product good, but they have at least one employee who gives more than 100% to make sure his customers are satisfied. To me as a consumer, I so appreciated Bryan's actions and kindness towards me, someone he did not know at all. He did what he did because he believes not only in the Kia car, but also because he wants his customers to be happy and you get that by treating your customers as you want to be treated. Thank you Bryan for not only selling me a good car that I will have for a very long time, but also for your acts of kindness, and knowing how to treat people and for the experience you gave me. I will return to Bob Sight Kia not only because of their product, but because hopefully the next time I need a car I will see Bryan as a Manager there because of his beliefs on how you should treat your customers.

The sales person(s) we worked with was great. I think the finance people suck (like they do at most dealerships). Because of our experience with the finance department, will probably never purchase another vehicle from this dealership. I think there is something really shady about a person when they say no to something and the finance person has to figure out a away to make it work scamming us into purchasing something we originally said no to (to the tune of almost $1800). I'm not sure when no doesn't mean no - but the finance person there doesn't know what it means. Love the car - but will go to a different dealership next time and hope we get a "honest" finance person.

Well my husband and I pulled in to this dealorship just as it was opening. We met Cass outside while we were looking at Kia Souls. He was very friendly. We test drove one and liked it very much. He seemed to know quite a lot about Kia's. We went inside after that, and we discussed in detail price etc. He did our paperwork very quickly. We got approved and completed paperwork. Then he showed me how everything worked in the car. He overall was excellent in knowledge and customer service. What was nice is they filled the tank and cleaned the car and gave us a free oil change to use later. I really enjoyed my experience with this salesman. We will come back when it is time to get a new vehicle.I wish Kia made trucks. Maybe in the near future they will?

We started at KIA a week before, but since this was my very FIRST new car; I wanted to be selective. We drove a KIA Soul and left to go to some other dealers and try their cars. After much research, prayer, and discussion with my fiance, I told him I wanted to return to the KIA SOUL, as it was in my price range, it was easy to get into and it had the best gas mileage. We went back and asked for Bill. I told Bill I really wanted a RED one, (I mean I just could not be happy with anything else) and they had one that had 4K miles and it looked new. Bill was not sure about it because it had been traded and was not cleaned up yet; but that did not make me any difference. We drove it and I was in heaven, I knew it was my car.it had a CD player, Sirrus radio, remote start, and so any other features. It was a 2013 Exclaim which is top of the line for the price of a Basic 2014. I know I got the best deal for me. And it is "RED!" Plus Bill cleaned it up and it looks like it just left the sales floor.My personal thank you to Bill, his patience, his knowledge, his interest in me/us as buyers made the transaction a huge SUCCESS!!!!! Called and talked to David May to verify the car I found online was still available, which it was. Set up an appointment to test drive the car but David wasn't going to be available at that time so he set me up with another employee Mike Cowley. Mike met me at the door, very nice gentleman.Mike was very helpful through the whole process. He made sure everything went smooth and any problems with the car which was discovered on the test drive was fixed that day, he even got the service manager involved to get the car fixed that day.Mike helped get me through the process of finance from start to finish.I never felt pressured and there was never any hand off to another person. I was shown a few options and made a decision based on that. Cass was willing to work with me on what I could and could not afford and made the experience very painless. Unfortunately I cannot remember the finance guys name, but he was very courteous with me and again made the experience painless. Cass took the time to explain to me the options on my Optima and how everything worked. Not once did I regret going to Bob Sight Kia. We are "happy" with the KIA 08 Sorento. But i have a problem with the ESC light always being on. It is sluggish in acceleration as well. However, no one in the service could figure it out and they tell me the two are not related. I disagree. I noticed on the internet that this is a huge problem with these vehicles and apparently no one can get it fixed at their dealerships either. Maybe this should initiate a recall. It is a serious hazard and could get someone killed. Would i buy another one?? not sure. I like the car, but this problem needs to be addressed by the company.

My wife was wanting a new Kia Soul because she was not real happy with our Ford Fusion. I was a bit skeptical but Chuck Harmon answered all our questions, hammered out a great deal and we were able to get a top of the line Soul for the same price as our mid-range style Fusion. The wife is happy with her new wheels, I'm happy because I got a better car and not paying anything else out of my pocket. I told Chuck what I was looking for, and to be honest ready to walk away, and Chuck made the whole process easy, priced right, and did not waste our time. The whole process took less than 3 hours and that was only because I sat and talked Chuck's leg off, but he didn't mind. If I could, I would send a 100 people to Chuck to buy a new car, great guy, great service and a great car.

This is our 4th Kia. We had taken our 07 Sorento in for a recall issue and decided to look at new vehicles while we waited. Jim Elsloo saw us and asked if he could help. After we said yes, he asked if we had been working with anyone else. I thought that was pretty cool, not trying to waste anyone's time. Jim was very nice and attentive to what we wanted in a vehicle and what we needed. He explained all the incentives that were going on at the time as well as new safety features that were available. Jim was very knowledgeable about their products. It didn't feel like he was trying to sell us a vehicle but more like we were having a discussion about the vehicles we were interested in hear more about. the test drive was great, again Jim knew his stuff. We had a set price we were willing to spend and a payment limit that could not budge. We really didn't expect them to be able to meet our budget requirements but we got a great interest rate and our payments and loan terms were well within our budget limits. Overall it was a good experience and I recommend Bob Sight Kia to everyone.

We first drove through the lot, didn't see what we wanted but we were not chased around the lot buy a salesman. So, we pulled in and went inside and was greeted by a very nice gentleman who shook our hands and asked what we wanted. He was not pushy nor did he try to sell us another vehicle because they didn't have the exact one that we wanted, he proceeded to find us the exact one and go get it that same day. We came in to have our car serviced and decided to look at a new Optima, Our original salesman (Mike Cowley) was off that day, so we were helped by Cass Thompson. Boy, did he get a work out, they did not have the color that I wanted with the equipment that I wanted. Cass set out on a search looking for exactly what I wanted. He located one in Arkansas and they were going to get it for me so I would have it in a couple of days. The night before they were going to pick it up, I realized that it did not have the push button start and that was a feature that I really wanted. I called Cass on his cell phone early the next morning and told him that it was not the car that I wanted after all. He was so nice and understanding. He got the person that was going after the car stopped and he started my search all over again. All the while never losing patience with me. I ended up with a new Optima that has lots of options that I didn't even ask for. It is a different color than the original choice was, but it is a beautiful car that is really loaded with options. I believe Cass re-did the paperwork 3 or 4 times on different cars. MIke helped him out with some of it on the second day. Also, MIke in finance re-did paperwork twice. Cass really worked his tail off in being completely sure that I got everything that I wanted. All the while being so pleasant and patient. I came to Bob Sight Independence Kia to see Mike Cowley because I was referred by a friend that asured me that Mike would take great care of me. I was very skeptical about going to a car dealership because of a couple past experiences, that left me with anxiety about even taking a drive down Noland Rd. But I had to find a car because mine had been stolen. I told Mike what I was looking for and he took the time to show me what he had in stock and also called me on a couple of occasions when something new came in. Mike suggested that I look on the Bob Sight Kia website and when I saw something that I liked invited me to come back for a test drive. He sent me home with the car that night giving me a chance to see that this really was the car that I wanted. Because of my past experiences I had made the decision to be a smarter shopper this time. In doing this I used Kelly Blue Book to do price comparisons to make sure that I would at least have an idea of what the price range should be for the vehicle that I wanted to purchase. When I checked on the car that I was interested in at Bob Sight I saw that the car was very reasonably priced. Mike made sure that I was comfortable that I had gotten a good deal and closed the sale. Still I was skeptical because I thought the hard part would come when it was time for the financing. I was wrong again. Even though I didn't have a very good credit rating and had a past repo on my credit report they were able to work with me and get me a fair interest rate. Before I knew it I was leaving Bob Sight with the keys to my new car feeling confident that I had a reliable vehicle, feeling good about the deal that I had made and feeling so thankful to Mike for all of his help. I would definately refer him and Bob Sight to any of my friends or family that are looking to buy a car. And in the future when the time arises for me to purchase another car I would feel good about coming back to see Mike again. He made what I thought would be a very painful experience a pleasant experience! Thanks again for all of your help. Your Awesome!

I absolutely love Bob Sight Kia! My husband and I are getting ready to move across the country with our 2 children and then he will be going on a deployment for 3 years. We really needed a reliable vehicle to travel with and that would be safe with our kids. We had previously tried another dealership and it was nothing but a headache. We were just about to give up on looking for a car when I found this website and read the reviews about Bob Sight Kia. The next day i contacted Allan Ball via the internet and gave him as much info as possible to see if he could help us. Allan spent most of the day getting info from his finance team and keeping my husband and I updated on everything. We then decided it would be best to provide our own financing and provided Allan with all the info so that when we finally got to the dealership all we had to do was test drive the vehicle and start on paperwork. I can now proudly say that my husband and I own a beautiful 2014 Kia Sorento and it is all thanks to Allan. My vehicle was wrecked. I had to buy another. Matt Rodecap showed me what I wanted a new Kia Sorento. He let me take the vehicle home over the weekend to see if I liked it and I loved the vehicle. I got a $ 1,500.00 rebate on the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle. They worked with me my credit score wasn't the best but they worked with me to get me a good interest rate. I have bought my last 3 vehicles at Bob Sight Kia on Noland Road in Independence from Cass Thompson. From the first time I walked into that show room floor and hooked up with Cass Thompson and the crew I would never go to another dealership. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and care and they truly do want the best for their customers. About 2 or 3 weeks after I had picked up my second Kia Sorento, I had gotten spots on my passenger seat and I went by and talked to Cass to see what I should use to remove it and he told me to wait and he grabbed some cleaning stuff they use and he personally went out and cleaned my seat for me. I don't know of any sales person that would do that especially after you picked up your new car and drove it off the lot. Let alone 2 or 3 weeks later. Then, last week I hit a deer and called Cass and told him what happened and that I was in the market again for a replacement. I definately wanted another Sorento. Very good SUV with alot of room and you don't have to sell your soul to own it. He said he would keep an eye out for me and let me know what he had on the lot. Two days later he called me and hooked me up with a brand new 2013 Sorento with 24 miles on it. I am now a very proud owner of that very same vehicle. Went in Wednesday before darts and drove it away that night. I have no desire to ever go anywhere else. The staff at Bob Sight Kia Independence are all awesome to work with. They will do what it takes to help you any way they can. I highly recommend this dealership above all else. Oh and by the way, Kia's are American Made!

We bought a 2012 (New) Sorrento this last spring and are very happy with it. We decided we loved the Kia's and the service Chuck gave us was excellent. Our 2001 Impala went on its last leg this week and we knew Chuck was the man to get us in the next car fast. After I researched the Sportage, and style and model we wanted, he was so willing to search what we were looking for and keeping the price within our budget. Cloth seats were going to be a problem, and he suggested putting leather in. Yes, you can have leather. After seeing the sportage and the seats, the cloth is so much more than we expected and we decided it was an excellent choice. Chuck was so willing to stay late and just let us drive the sportage for a quick spin to make sure it drove like we thought. Chuck was not pushy, and so willing to answer everything so we didn't feel like we were being pushed into something just for the "sale". If I didn't really know what I was looking for, Chuck would go the extra mile to discuss our driving needs, and what we want and tries to put things into perspective with the right kind of miles per gal car. Anytime we have had questions like "what about this or what if", Chuck always knows the answer. Not just "an answer" but he really wants you to be happy with your choice. Chuck can tell you really want and like the car. He knows how to get you into your car with a lot of excitement, and happiness. I vote for Chuck.

I was planning to purchase a new car in January. However the transmission in my car went and had to bump up that purchase date. I knew I wanted the Optima and knowing Tim Tudhope knew it would be a good purchase. Tim called Aaron who then paired me up with Cass. We had purchased a new 2012 vehicle earlier at a different KIA dealership in Kansas and had a very bad experience to say the least and had also traded in the 2009 KIA Sportage we had on the new one and so were now without a dependable vehicle to drive in our family. I decided to look around and at least give it another shot at a different KIA dealership before we would decide to go with a different brand of vehicle. I called and contacted by email, dealerships within Kansas as well as a few in other states and told them what we were looking for in a new KIA Sportage. A salesman named JIM ELSLOO contacted me and actually offered me the best price of anyone else and discussed with me over the phone in detail what he had to offer. I could tell he had not only experience, but also in a caring non pushy way that I didn't see in other sales people. After arriving, my wife and I really appreciated the time Jim took to explain everything about the vehicle inside and out and even went through the manual with us. All in all, we had driven 233 miles from central Kansas to purchase our vehicle from a salesman that had proven himself so well to us be an exceptional sales person. We would like to give a big thank you to Bob Sight KIA and Jim Elsloo on our new vehicle purchase. The only regret we have is we found out the hard way that not all car dealerships are as honest and considerate as this dealership has proven itself to be.

Great buying experience. Quote given on the internet was the lowest price I found and was willing to drive 120 miles to save. No pressure from salesman. Credit mgr. was able to find an interest rate lower than I had worked out with my credit union. I plan to recommend to my sister and daughter who will be in the market for a new car in the next year.

The Sales person was very easy to deal with, the online quote was below the best we found in our area and the Finance Manager found us a better deal on an auto loan then our pre-approved rate we had with Insurance/Previous Auto Loan/Credit Card company USAA.I wasn't looking forward to this process but we were in and out in an hour with no hassles. Probably the best car purchase experience I've ever had.

I dont remember the name of the salesman ,but he was very nice and took enough time to explane all the buttons.I'm sorry I misplaced his card. If you look on our paperwork you will see who he is. He was very pleasant to work with,and we felt like he gave us a good deal. he didnt put any preasure on us so we are very satisfied with our new car. I just happened to see the pictures of the salespeople and i believe it was him. he was very helpful.

Chuck was awesome! I knew what I wanted and he got that. I wanted a base model...he did show me a few things to add to the model but I decided I wanted the bumper to bumper insurance for 100,000 miles was more important. He did a great job expalining the car, how things worked in the car, and the advantages of the car. He was very patient and took the time needed to make me comfortable with the purchase. We researched on the internet. Emailed our interest and questions. Matt responded immediately and from then on answered, in a timely manner, each and every email we sent him from start to end. We told him he could contact us by phone or email, preferably email, and that's how we did most of our communicating. We went out, test drove a car similiar to the one we wanted, and did most of the paperwork that day. They didn't have the car we wanted, color/features, on the lot, but found exactly what we wanted. We had to wait a couple of days for them to get it in. Matt emailed us and told us when the car would be there and asked what time we wanted to come in. GREAT customer service and a great group of employees at Bob Sight. Everybody was courteous, kind, and helpful. A great "buying a car" atmosphere.

I recently purchased a brand new Kia Forte, Mike was the Salesman. I use the term Salesman loosely however because with Mike it seemed more like I was purchasing a car from an old friend.I also had an expectation in mind as to the trade in value that i was wanting for my used vehicle. Mike delivered on my expectation and than showed me different options for the amount i was looking to spend. I found a great car and we made a deal.I walked out of the dealership feeling like a winner. A week later i still feel that way, i got a brand new Kia, and lowered my monthly payment over 40%.I highly recommend Mike and this Dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I orginally went to Olathe Kia with the same expectations that I went to Bob Sight with I would never reccomend Olathe Kia to anyone they were completely unethical when it came to financing and did not provide a personal or friendly experience at all. Chuck at Bob Sight however was amazing he not only made me feel valued as a customer but was forthcoming and honest. I told him what I wanted and what I could afford he didnt try to go outside of those expectations to benefit him and was completely accomodating to what I needed and what I wanted. The finance manager also made this a great experience he looked at all options to get me the monthly payment I wanted and needed and tried to even get me in a lower payment as much as possible without bullying me into a situation that I could not fullfill. I would reccomend Chuck and the guys at Bob Sight to anyone needing a trustworthy honest experience purchasing a new car. Thanks Guys!

We went to 2 KIA dealerships and unfortunately the other dealer lied about some things we had looked at at Bill Sight. You have to be able to trust who you are working with. Bill Sight (Cass) was upfront, truthful and friendly. We had our grandson with us who is very active and he was able to work with us an keep our grandson happy (gave him a balloon). It was a very pleasant experience. I would reccomend him to anyone.

I have bought 3 cars in my short life and by far this was my best experience. My first 2 cars were Mitsubishi and the service was alright. Then today on 4/23/12 I went to the Kia an Noland road and meet Chuck, He treated me as if I was not young and new to buying cars he truly cared about me and what I wanted. We looked at the Sportage and took a couple test drives. In the end I was hook on the best car I have ever had a Kia Forte 5 door. I even got to drive it off the show room floor, One of the greatest moments of my life. I am sold on Kia for life the service is wonderful and they truly care about what you can afford and want over just selling a car. Chuck has even got my Dad concidering a Kia and he only buys ford and chevy so WOW great and the perfect car too.

Cass was friendly,a no-pressure kind of person, who did not try to answer questions he wasn't sure of, but found those answers. This was our third Kia purchase and it was the easiest and quickest experience we have had. Chuck was very knowledgeable and knew his product well. We were not able to program our Jitterbug phones into Bluetooth before but Chuck was able to get this done. We drove several other types of autos but the Kia drove and handled the best. Price was comparable and we have been very pleased with our other Kias. Why change when we have had good luck and experience with a great product. My younger daughter has our first Kia and our older daughter has the Sorento. I have the new one and am looking forward to driving it and saving on fuel.

I went to get my 2000 KIA Sportage repaired. After a diagnosis it was determined that the repair was going to be over $4000. I really enjoyed working with the dealership and thier honesty. Jim was fantastic and very Patient with me as I made call after call to my bank and insurance and wife. My experience could have only be made better if my car could have been repaired instead of replaced. All said and done I am very glad that I choose to drive by the other 8 KIA dealers to get from Kansas City, Kansas to Bob Sight Independence Kia. It was worth the drive.

Wow what can I say!! It was the best experience I have ever had. My husband and I bought a car from a shaddy dealership and basically lost trust in car salesman.We were stuck with a car that didn't run for over 6 months and paying a car payment on a car we couldn't drive.We were told we couldn't get anything better than what they told us. Chuck Harmon did a fantastic job helping us decide on our new 2012 Kia Sorento. Not only was he patient through the whole process, but helped us understand what Kia had to offer in color exterior and interior and which package came with what and how everything worked. Kia came up in comparison shopping in the internet. I liked the price,style,and options available. I phoned the dealership for some information, and visited with a very helpful salesperson Mile Cowley. He invited me in to look and test drive any car I would like to check out. I went to Indep. Mo Bob Sight Kia and was greeted as I exited my vehicle my another salesperson-Chuck. He informed me Mike was out of the office, but woudl return soon if I wanted to wait. I was on a limited schedule so we look around at the available cars. I settled on a Sorento. We test drove, and Chuck explained and answered my question. I relayed all the information to my husband, and we returned within a few days to the dealership for further test driving and etc. Mike had contacted us by phone offering to help us anyway in our decision or whatever. Throughout our final decision to purchase and final paperwork, tour of the dealership everyone at Bob Sight Kia were very professional, VERY friendly and helpful. We wanted a particular exterior/interior color. They found our choice at another dealership, delivered same day fully gased and sparkling clean. Overall Bob Sight Kia, Indep. Mo was the most pleasant experience we have had in the last twenty years of buying new cars. My wife and I just bought a 2012 Optima from Chuck and the whole experience was outstanding. I had called in advance with the make/model I was interested in, and he had one gassed up and ready for me to test drive when I arrived. No hassle at all about the test drive . . . just gave us the keys, tagged the car and told us to take our time. They gave us a fair amount for our trade-in, honored the Kia loyalty bonus and low finance offers, and worked with us on the price of the vehicle. Had to wait while some folks did their financing before ours, and to pass the time he brought me a bowl of the seafood gumbo he made for the staff that day. Yum. Once we got in for financing it took maybe 10-15 minutes. The car was freshly washed and ready to go when we were done. He walked us through the features, and we drove it home. The experience really couldn't have been any better, and Chuck in particular was great to work with.

I had done much research deciding what car to replace my beloved 2003 corolla S with and I had decided that I wanted to look into the Kia optima. I did several internet inquiries and within few hours I had received responses from three local Kia dealerships. I was on vacation so i had planned on doing some car shopping and test driving all that week. It took me most of the week to get the opportunity to get out to test drive an optima as my wife's car broke down leaving the both of us with only one mode of transportation. Finally on Thursday i was able to get to Bob Sight Kia and asked for Matt Rodecap whom id been corresponding with the last couple of days. Upon meeting Matt I quickly realized that he was not the stereotypical car salesman that i have dealt with so many times in the past. Soft spoken, knowledgeable, and very low pressure. He asked what i was looking for and immediately brought me a set of keys to an optima so that my wife and I could test drive. Upon returning from the test drive Matt offered to let us take one home for a few days to "try it out" which I declined that day but accepted the following day since my wife and i were down to one car. After enjoying the optima for a day I decided that it was the car that i wanted so i went in and talked to Matt who had 3 offers to me in a matter of minutes. I took the offers home and decided I was going to make an offer on an EX with the premium package. I called Matt and made an offer and he quickly called me back and told me to come in so we could talk. Upon arriving he met us at the door and had my wife and i sit down while he talked to the sales manager. After a short time of going back and fourth with offers and counter offers we came to an agreement which worked for me but unfortunately they didn't have any EX with the premium package so they were going to have to find one somewhere. After 20 minutes or so Matt approached me about an optima SX-turbo with everything I wanted, the finance manager had been driving a few months that had a couple thousand miles on it. He offered me that vehicle at the price we had agreed on for the EX and after a wonderful test drive I agreed but told him that i needed to keep my corolla for a couple of days so my wife would have something to drive while her car was being repaired. Matt said that they were going to keep my Corolla and give her a loaner for the weekend! I had fully planned on shopping each of the Kia dealerships in town in an attempt to get the best deal but after my experience with Matt Rodecap at Bob Sight Independence Kia I am so glad that I Chose to go there first. I am in love with this completely awesome car and will be a customer for life.

Had been into the dealer before our purchase and was told that if we wanted to trade our 2011 Sportage in they could make it right. Having dealt with other car dealers in the past I thought "right, bet not".Several weeks later I called and asked how right they could make it. Much to my surprise the numbers we discussed on the car we wanted, a V6 Sorento, sounded very right to me.We went in the next evening and the numbers that were given to us on the phone were the same numbers we were presented with for purchase. They didn't have the exact model in stock that we wanted but they managed to have the one we wanted on the lot and ready to pick up in two days. When we went to pick it up and went through finance nothing changed and we were not pushed into buying a lot of extras.Overall I had the impression that Aaron and Mr C. listened to us when we discussed what we wanted and what fit our budget and put us right where we wanted to be. Very nice low-pressure environment. I will definitely go back the next time we want a new Kia.Thanks Aaron and Mr C.!

Mike was a great person to work with in buying this vehicle. We came in earlier that day and looked at a specific van but wanted to see what other vans might be available at the other dealers nearby. We told him we wanted to look around and might be back based on what we saw. He said okay and didn't pressure us to buy now or stay. After looking at other vans we came back. Mike Cowley was the salesman that helped us and due to his lack of pushiness, genuine friendliness and no pressure approach, we drove off in a slightly used Optima. While waiting for the "negotiations" over trade in price we sat and talked about a variety of things and it was like I was talking to an old friend. I have to say as an owner of toyota's and mostly hondas I was very very reluctant to try a KIA. But the features for the price are unmatched. There was a minor problem with the paint and I thought for sure I was going to get the run around when I came back three weeks later and was all ready to write off kia but they surprised me and got me in and took care of it no big deal. If at all possible I will buy here in the future and as a local Independence resident I am glad to have had a great experience at Bob Sight Kia. It's worth the drive even if you live on the other side of the city. Did I mention Mike Cowley was the best salesman I've ever worked with?

My wife and i bought our first kia back in 2008. we went with the kia optima because it had everything we wanted in a vehicle, all the while maintaining the price that fit our budget at the time.So when we were ready to trade in a vehicle I had owned for 12 years, our first stop was back at BOB SIGHT KIA. we had researched a couple vehicles that would fit our needs for our family's second vehicle, and once again, the kia was the vehicle that met our needs. Since we were trading in an 4X4 SUV, we wanted another 4X4 or AWD vehicle that was big enough for our growing family (2 kids in car seats and room for another one.) The 2012 KIA Sorento met all of our requirements with the 3rd row of seating. we bought our Sorento on Saturday after Thanksgiving.we met with Cass, a nice salesperson that was not pushy, asked the right questions to help us determine if our internet searches were accurate, and spent the time with us so we felt totally at ease with the process. Just like back in 08, we did not buy on the first visit, but each time we went in we were greated by a friendly member of the sales staff, and directed back to Cass to continue helping us. We feel that the Kia's we have purchased "sold" themseleves, and that the agents seemed more interested in "helping" rather than "selling" us.So when we got down the the important discussion of price, i was given VERY fair value for my trade, and we agreed on a price for the vehicle that I felt was in line with our whole experience, very good.We never felt like there was pressure to buy, or any pressure to talk us into something we didnt want. heres the best part!! OUR kia was not in Kansas city, so when we were told we had to wait until Monday or Tuesday for delivery, our hearts kind of sunk for a moment (We americans and immediate gratification). But when Cass started getting keys ready and filling up a vehicle with gas, we couldnt believe they were going to give us a brand new kia Sorento for the short time it would take to get OUR kia here in the city... But that is exactly what happened. we were given a fully fueled Kia Sorento (wrong color and no AWD or we would have taken that one) to drive until OUR kia got to town. that level of customer satisfaction is what we have grown accustomed to in our 4 year history with Bob Sight Kia. "here are the keys, your good to go, let us know how we can help in the future!"I would recommend the dealership, Cass the sales rep, and Andy who is now in management (who sold us or first kia over 3 years ago) to anyone looking to buy a car soon, or just want some friendly advice/knowledge of what is out there. They knew their business, made it a point to learn our business, and then was friendly, sincere, and gracious when selling us our newest addition to our family. 5 stars from start to finish!I know a lot of kias are being made right here in the states, which doesnt mean everything, but it does feel good that foreign companies are investing right here in the USA! And check out the warranty! not that we have needed it with our optima, but it far surpasses a lot of the 3 year, 36000 mile warranties going around. We have only had to use the warranty 1 time (for a window) but the security of knowing that we have a great warranty package behind the kia lets my wife sleep a lot better at night!

I was looking for a 2012 Kia Sportage and first dealt with another dealership and got the run around with them and was so frustrated. I was then referred to Bog Sight Kia by a friend and she was right about what great customer service I would get. Aaron was able to find me the exact Sportage I was wanting within a day and was able to get my front windows tinted as well as get me the all weathered mats I was wanting, so when I came to sign papers and pick up the vehicle everything was all ready to go. A big thank you as well to Bryan for taking care of getting my vehicle all ready to go and getting the extra items I was wanting. My experience with Bob Sight Kia was great and I would refer any of my family and friends to them in the future. I love my 2012 Kia Sportage and down the road when I need another vehicle I will be going back to Bob Sight Kia.

I cannot express how incredibly positive my car buying experience was with Bob Sight. After test driving the 2012 Optima SX at a dealership close to my home, I left disappointed - not with the car, but the customer service left much to be desired. They weren't eager to please by any means, so I shopped online and found Bob Sight. Within 2 quick phone calls and an email or 2, I had the deal I wanted for my new Optima and a generous trade-in for my old Optima, in all, about 20 minutes of my time! My husband and I went there to check out a used car on the Kia lot. We were assisted by Mike Crowley, a sales person with many years experience. Mike guided us through the lot....didnt push us at all. I explained that I too was in the market for a car, but really wasn't interested in much of anything in the Kia family. Too say Mike had his work cut out for him was an understatement. In the end, I was taught about the quality of the Kia Optimal, my payment was met, and I was given 3 off their lot ( various colors etc) to choose from. So we left Bob sight Kia that day the proud owners of TWO cars. We were made to feel valued during our entire process. I went to the Bob Sight Kia dealership last week to test drive a used Kia Soul.I was kindly greeted by a very nice gentleman named Mike Cowley who said he would love to help me out. As it was all but one used Soul on the lot were sold and the one there was still in the garage but he pulled it out and let me drive it. He went with me on the drive and was very nice and informative about the vehicle. Although the Soul that we did drive was a color I was not interested in so I did not buy that day. Mike did tell me that if I wanted to buy used that I could tell him what I was looking for and they would put out a search for it and more than likely find it for me. While looking on the lot that day the dealership had gotten in a shipment of new Kia Soul's. I had not thought about buying new until Mike showed them to me and I realized the price difference was only about 3000-4000 dollars difference. Then Mike proceeded to tell me about the warranty that comes with the new Kia Soul's. I liked the color of one of the new Soul's that had come in that day (Moss) and told him I would talk to my husband and get back with him about possibly buying new. The next day was a Friday and I called Mike to ask if the Moss Soul was still available and he said yes but that they had shown it earlier that day. I told him we would be in the next day. He then suggested very nicely that it would be a good idea to come in early before the dealership got busy as the Soul's sell pretty fast. So we arrived the next morning just as the dealership was opening, my husband and I took the Soul for a drive and knew we wanted it. We told Mike and things were in motion quickly and smoothly with no snags along the way. And I am so grateful that Mike suggested that we come in early as while we were filling out paperwork another couple came in to buy the same vehicle. My husband was on a deadline and needed to get things done as quickly as possible and Mike was wonderful at getting things done in a very timely manner and my husband was done in plenty of time. I stay behind to finish up the process and of course drive my new Kia Soul home!I had a great experience with Bob Sight Kia and especially with my salesman Mike Cowley. This was a great experience I did most of the work over the internet then came to the dealership to look and drive the car. They were friendly knowledgable and very easy to work with. I hate going to dealerships because most are pushy and won't take no for any answer, I did not feel this way at Bob Sight. I was harrassed terribly at Shawnee Mission Kia via telephone and this was not the case at all with Bob Sight and Matt Rodenbaugh. It was e-mail and answer and e-mail and answer at my own pace I appreciated that very much and would do business with them again.

My experience with Bob Sight Kia and Matt Rodecap was the best new car purchasing experience I've ever experienced. I was skeptical about Kia as I tried to find a White Sand Beige Kia Sorento over a several week period only to discover that Kia had discontinued this color six months ago, even though it was still listed on its website. A St. Louis Kia dealer was trying to locate a Titanium Silver or Bright Silver Sorento EX V6 AWD with my limited options over a 13 state district. This was also supposed to be in line at the factory as close as Kia can get to a special order.When I called Bob Sight and talked to Matt, I reluctantly agreed to let him try and find this Sorento. He located one in Bright Silver with the options I desired. He handled it very professionally, agreed on a competitive price, explained in detail the requirement for a deposit, agreed to add the wheel locks at the dealership and sent a driver to pick the car up in Wisconsin. Matt stayed in touch advising when the car would be ready for pick up from Mountain Home, Ar where I live. Everything was ready to go as agreed when I arrived.I was also pleased with the trade in value offered from Aaron Cott on my Dodge Grand Caravan. Mr Cott was quite efficient with having the paperwork ready and we were ready to drive away in about two hours. Mr Tom Sight also introduced himself and thanked me for my business.I spent my entire professional career in sales and marketing, and think I can evaluste true professionalism. Bob Sight Kia is a truly professional business.
