I used to be a car salesman, so when I went into Bob Wade Subaru, I was ready for all the sales tactics. Dale Smith was a breath of fresh air. He listened to what my daughter was looking for and pointed us to a very low mileage car he had just traded in from one of his repeat customers. When it came to the numbers, there were no shady tactics or fluffing of the trade. He quoted exactly what I expected for her trade and he worked the price of the car my daughter wanted to be where we felt was fair for her and for them. Brandon (finance officer) got my daughter a better loan rate than we had expected making her payment within the range she needed.The Impreza she bought was in excellent condition and came with an impressive warranty for a used car. Overall, this was one of the better car-buying experiences I have been a part of (not including the deals I used to make when I sold cars, of course!). Next time I need a car, you can be sure I will return to Bob Wade and look up Dale.

Aaron Baldwin and Candace Stearn at Bob Wade Subaru were a pleasure to work with. They helped us find and purchase the car we were looking for. There was little pressure to up-sell unwanted extras and were accommodating to our schedule. Our only comment/suggestion would be that the sales people do a better job of equally addressing members of couples and families, you never know who is the car for. In our case we felt that questions and negotiation was focused on me (male) and did not include my wife as much as we would have liked.Overall we were pleased with the experience.

I was recently in a car accident (not my fault) and I walked away with only a few bruises but my Subaru Forester was totaled. Shopping for a new car was not in my plans and I was feeling overwhelmed at the prospect. Great people and great prices (both ways). I visited Bob Wade figuring I would check this dealership in the am and the Staunton dealership in the pm. I never got to Staunton. They had the exact Crosstrek I was looking for and the price was well below MSRP. Next came the valuation of my trade-in. I had checked it out on KBB and knew roughly what my trade should bring. Bob Wade offered a trade in right in the middle of the very good range. So I had deal where I was purchasing a vehicle thousands below MSRP and was getting a trade in value dead center in the middle of the very good KBB dealer trade-in range. It was a deal too good to pass up. Daniel, the internet sales representative, was great throughout the process. He answered every question and made sure we knew the vehicle well by the time we left. Jamie, the internet sales consultant, was quite helpful as well. It was a great car buying experience. How often do you hear someone say that?

I was visiting in Virginia on September 29th. I called two Subaru Dealers in the area, neither answered or called me back. So I called the Bob Wade Autoworld and they took me in three hours later for an oil change on my Subaru BRZ. They were all so nice, and Ryan Mayes took me on a test drive in one of their Manuel Crosstreks. He was so helpful, explained in detail about the car, even though he knew that I might not stay in the area. He did not pressure me at all, was very courteous. If I were staying in the area, I would use this Car Dealer and would buy my next car from Ryan. Everyone in the service department were very friendly also, but I do not know their names.

Our salesman (Joe) was totally on top of all our concerns with this purchase. We started with a less expensive choice but decided on a more pricey vehicle because the salesman did not push us into a decision. He did not try to "close" the deal immediately. In fact, he gave us the option of taking the cars home for the night(s) to try them out. We did this with three vehicles, something I never thought would have offered. This made all the difference in where we purchased and where we will purchase again. We had one small problem after the sale (car prep) and they took the car back and did a complete detailing. Of course, in the mean-time, we were given another vehicle as a loaner.Overall we were very impressed with the dealership and with Joe and Candace in particular.

I was positioned to purchase a Fiat 500 that Travis was representing for Bob Wade Subaru. He jumped at the opportunity to drive the car out to me, which I was very grateful for and excited about. He assured me that he had driven the car himself and that it was in perfect condition. I expressed concern buying a car site unseen, he assured me he was a top rated salesman and stood behind the $500 deposit and his word. I believed him. The car arrived (a day after promised even though I had driven 45 minutes and paid a $17 toll to meet him) and I was excited to test drive. As I reversed (no problem) and shifted into first gear the car was stuck and I couldn't get the car into first. The driver shouted to me "you have to pop it into second, it doesn't go into first!" and assured me that he had dealt with this issue the whole drive over. I was shocked! How could he have omitted this huge issue? I drove the car around and came back saying that I was not comfortable buying a car that didn't shift into first gear. The driver assured me it was normal. I called Travis and expressed my concerns. He said it drove just fine when he drove it the day before. Then Travis and the driver got into a disagreement. Suddenly, the driver said that it wasn't happening the whole way over, changing his mind about the fact that he had needed to pop into second because first wasn't working. The tune quickly changed to the fact that the car was still under warranty and that I could easily bring it in since it was under warranty. When I asked them why I should be responsible for this they assured me that the car would be fine. I said simply that I would buy the car once it had been repaired (it was not 100% clear if the issue would fall under the warranty or not). I put my foot down saying that I would not buy a car that had to immediately go in for work that may or may not be under the warranty, which was pretty reasonable. They were all telling me it was normal to have a car that didn't shift into first gear and that I was being unreasonable. I felt pressured and had lost my trust in him since he should have told me from the beginning that it had this issue. It has now been over three weeks and they still have not returned my "guaranteed" $500 deposit that was promised to be "fully refundable" if I did not purchase the car. I have called and got the run around and no call back. The last time I spoke to accounting, I was told that they needed to check on who the manager was before knowing if they would be able to process the refund of the $500 deposit and that she didn't know how long it would take to find that out. Ridiculous. That $500 should have been automatically returned when I didn't purchase the car. UPDATE: After calling and asking about the $500 (twice) they did call me back the same day and returned the money to my credit card.

BUYING PROCESS- We had test driven an Outback at another dealer and had a very stressful sales experience. After leaving that dealership tired and frustrated, we continued to do our homework on pricing and features. We visited TRUECAR.com on a Sunday and Jaime contacted us Monday at 9 am. After listening to our "must haves," within 30 minutes he emailed us a great price on a new Outback. PICKING UP THE CAR- We live about 3 hours from the dealership so we had to wait 6 days to pick up the car. When we arrived, Jaime took the time to show us all the features on the car and answer all our questions. PAPERWORK- The prices were exactly as quoted. The process was simple. We listened to the sales presentations regarding warranties and extras. When we declined certain extras, they were polite and didn't put undue pressure on us.

This is the Third Subaru that we have purchased from Bob Wade Subaru in Harrisonburg, VA. We live in Winchester VA and have once again decided to drive over an hour to purchase a new Outback. The entire sales staff at Bob Wade are very professional and friendly. They treat you as a person and not as another fish on the line. My wife talked with several Subaru dealers and finally I suggested Bob Wade since we had purchased from them before. She emailed and then spoke with Jaime Sampson and approached me with a big smile on her face. We traveled to Harrisonburg and there we no surprise's. The price was exactly as quoted, which was a great price for the fully loaded outback. Worked with Chris Hite (as well as Scott Elyard and their lease specialist, Candace Stearn) and all were great. Chirs's attentiveness to my needs and wants was tremendous. To the point of my having mentioned a great disdain for dealer branding on cars (you know, the license plate frames and dealership "branding" sticker) on Friday, in passing. Lo-and-behold, on Tuesday when getting the car, all signs of branding had been removed! Can't wait to work with the Bob Wade Lincoln team again!

I called ahead and got an excellent price from Jamie Sampson. We made an appointment, but because it was Memorial Day weekend, he was busy when I arrived. He turned me over to Heather Campbell. He kept checking with me during the time I was there. I was very well taken care of by both of them. I was a serious buyer, but I did not feel that I was under any pressure. It was so different from another dealership (not Subaru) that I had visited weeks before. In that case, I wanted to run away screaming. Afterwards the phone calls were relentless. Not so at Bob Wade. Even though I had contacted them several times in the months before, I was treated like a mature person who could make up her own mind. When I was ready to buy, I felt that the staff was straightforward. Several times they told me how much they enjoyed working there and working with others on the team. It was as pleasant an experience as could it could be parting with that much money. But I felt respected and cared for. Great dealership!

I visited the Bob Wade dealership to check out a new Forester and was greeted by Brandon Mitchell. Brandon was able to answer my questions that day with no pressure. After reading over the brochure he gave me, I made a second visit to pursue the purchase of a 2016 Forester Premium . After deciding on the model I desired, there was none to be found for miles around in my color choice! Brandon and his sales manager tried very hard to locate one for me. A couple days later I received a call from Brandon that a Forester Limited in the color I liked had been found. A third visit sealed the deal and I will be picking up my new vehicle at the end of the week. Everyone I dealt with at Bob Wade was pleasant and helpful and the facility is clean and spacious.

I had been looking for a good deal on a used vehicle for over two months and had finally come down to two vehicles from CarMax; however, I wanted to take one last look before making any final decisions and wound up speaking with Aaron Baldwin from Bob Wade Autoworld. From the start, I felt more comfortable on their lot than any other dealership; Aaron quickly established what I was looking for and did not try to upsell anything to me. I truly felt as though he was trying to simply find the best fit for me rather than sell me anything with big dollar signs and promises of big commissions. Furthermore, I appreciate that his first determination was earning my business, which he truly did, and his flexibility and understanding when i told him that I had other cars I was considering; that is to say that he was not pushy. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles on the lot and was great about sticking only to the cars that he knew would fit both my budget and needs. I was so impressed with both his services and the servicing deals through the Bob Wade's dealership that I felt it was a no-brainer to make my decision. Perhaps my only complaint was in the actual purchasing of the car. While they were very good about finding a reliable and affordable rate for me (everyone I have talked to about it has been impressed with the deal), the person who took me through the paperwork went at a very fast pace which was a little scary for me since this was my first time buying through a dealership. I had to remind her once or twice that I would like to look over some of the paperwork slowly to ensure my understanding of the payments being made and the signatures I was providing. Otherwise, she was very pleasant and helpful with my questions. Truly a great experience!

I think fate led me to this dealership to find my dream car. I was searching on my phone in the parking lot for a Subaru Baja. Travis Utley, salesman extraordinaire, appeared out of nowhere to make sure I was okay. So my wife and I only purchase cars every 7 or 8 years,, we knew we wanted a Subaru Outback based on their reliability and safety, what we didn't know was where to purchase our new car. Once I heard back from Bob Wade Subaru I felt this may be the place to purchase our vehicle from based on their prices, what I didn't initially know was that in the price quoted from Bob Wade we also got many other benefits that other dealers were not offering. I know knew that Bob Wade was going to be our place to purchase. After talking to our salesman Brian Strahin about exactly what we wanted, he managed to find it and hold it for us. In December, I found a used truck that I liked on the Bob Wade website. I live in Chesapeake, Virginia which is more than 200 miles away. After reviewing Bob Wade's website, I saw that their reputation was impeccable. Derek Pyburn (Internet associate) and I negotiated price and we agreed on a price then I set out to Harrisonburg with my wife. Derek got me all set up with Chris Hyte (Sales associate). Upon arrival Chris had the truck running awaiting test drive as I informed them that I had to return to Chesapeake that night to work third shift. After the test drive, Marshall had us work through the paperwork in 20 minutes allowing us to get back on the road. The next day, the engine light came on, I called Chris to inform him and he directed me to take the truck to a repair shop that I felt comfortable with. The truck had an EGR issue that needed repair. Chris told Scott Elyard (General manager) and Scott spoke with my mechanic and gave repair authorization. The repair was over $1,400 and Scott made good and paid the bill. I was so impressed with Chris and Scott's integrity and genuine care for me and my situation. I love the truck and am happier than ever. Bob Wade is the best dealership that I have ever dealt with! While visiting family in the area I had an afternoon to kill so I visited several car dealerships with no intentions of buying a car since I live 200 miles away. I knew very little about Subaru but soon learned they are a manufacturer of quality vehicles which are assembled in Indiana and made with a majority of parts made in the USA. Our salesperson Brandon was extremely knowledgeable and very personable and all of this resulted in the purchase of a new Subaru that day but which was scheduled to arrive in the future. Days later I became concerned about the engine break-in procedure since we were picking up the new car on our way to Florida (1,000+ mile trip). Brandon had the chief technician call who allayed my fears. Brandon also promptly answered other email questions even on Christmas day. On the day of delivery, he took more than an hour in the car reviewing the essentials which included the EyeSight technology package. He has remained in contact assuring us he is available to help us enjoy our new Outback in any way he can. In conclusion we have had a very pleasant, stress-free car buying experience at Bob Wade Subaru.

I have owned 4 Subaru's previously and had good service with all of them. Helen gave me the best deal up front without any negotiating the cost of a new car without a trade in. My husband and I wanted to replace a 2006 Dodge Caravan, and I had spent quite a bit of time online figuring out exactly what we wanted. We stopped at Bob Wade Autoworld, just planning to comparison shop and see what they had. We were met by Helen Shibut, who did a terrific job of determining what we wanted and answering our questions as we test drove a 2016 Subaru Forester; if she did not know the answer to a question, she checked with someone else to find it. They did not have the color of the model we wanted on the lot, but they had one coming from the factory in about 10 days, which we bought that day. The new car was lacking a couple of optional features we wanted, and Helen made sure they were added and installed before we took delivery. The dealership also gave us a fair value on our trade-in.Helen made several phone calls to keep us posted on the progress of the delivery and has been in touch several times since we took delivery of the car to make sure that everything is okay, and she has been very friendly and personable without being pushy. We have not needed any service yet but have had several emails from the service dept., just "touching base" until we do need service. All in all, this was a very positive buying experience.

On Oct. 14 I was driving my 2011 Subaru Forester home from Harrisonburg to Basye on a road through the GW National Forest, when I had a terrible accident driving off the road. Although the car was totally destroyed on impact with a tree, I was saved by the airbags. While still suffering with a fractured sternum, I asked my husband to take me to Wade Subaru the following weekend to look at the cars in their lot. The new models looked great, but I was undecuded because I had my heart set on the same dual transmission that I had enjoyed in my last car. No clutch, but the ability to shift manually. Brandon Mitchell showed me a blue 2012 Forester which met my criteria, but I was still restricted from test driving for another 5 weeks. I searched on line for low mileage Foresters, and I had several helpful phone conversations with Derek Pyburn. On Dec.9 we were back at Wade. The blue car was still available. Brendan was on duty and able to sell me my 6th Subaru that evening. I definitely wanted to drive it home that very night. He made it possible. I am a happy camper!

This was my first experience buying a new car and Brian Strahin made the process very easy. I went through the USAA car buying service and he responded quickly through email with options he had on the lot. I have been a Sales Manager for several companies in the the past 12 years, I know sales people and a lot of their "techniques". Most commission sales personnel are overbearing, forceful and to a certain extent deceitful. Scott Lokey was NONE of these. The day I purchased my vehicle, I walked into Bob Wade upset because I was mislead by a neighboring dealership. Working with Scott was a very smooth experience. He gave me facts about the car and when he didn't know the answer, he told me just that, instead of making something up. Scott worked diligently to make sure my wife (who hates car shopping) and I had a positive shopping experience. Two days after my purchase the gas cap fell apart. I called Scott and he had the part ordered on the house. My wife and I could not be happier! When my sister in law needed a new vehicle I sent her to Scott. I bought my 2012 Subaru outback from this dealership and my sales person was Helen Shibut. I had not bought a car from a dealership in over thirty years. I was looking one day at 2010 to 2012 outback subaru on the internet and found this 2012 pearl white outback with a six speed manual transmission just what i was looking for one mile away from where i was living. My sister and brother in law was coming to visit that weekend and i ask them if they would go to the dealership with me. When we arrived Helen was the one who came out to greet us. Helen starting telling me about the outback and was very knowledgeable about it.We went for a test drive and when we returned i had to think about it. A few days later i called Helen and ask her if i could use the car for a day and she said i could drive it for up to i think 250 miles i drove it to my sisters house and back which was 225 miles and when i returned i was in love with it. I bought it that day and Helen has called me two or three times to ask how i am liking it. I love driving mt Subaru. Thanks Helen for making my buying a car from a dealership a good experience.

I have been working with Scott for almost a year now. We purchased a car from him in February of 2015 and since that time he has called twice to check on my enjoyment of the vehicle. My car did not come with a key fob, so when we bought the car, we asked Scott to order one. This got forgotten until I called to say my key was malfunctioning. Scott was very apologetic and not only had Bob Wade pay for my key fob, but he helped me work with the Toyota dealership in Staunton, so I did not have to go all the way to Harrisonburg. The Staunton dealership made multiple errors during the ordering and programming process and through the whole thing, Scott was constantly checking in with me to ensure I was taken care of. We were in the market for a used Forester and stopped into the dealership to see what they had to offer. After shopping several dealerships for a new car, we settled on a Subaru Forester from Bob Wade. The sales staff where extremely knowledgeable and well versed on technical aspects of the Subaru which is a somewhat unique vehicle in the marketplace. So having been sold on the Subaru, we moved onto the deal. We had already been somewhat turned off by other dealers on non Subaru brands that would not get to a bottom line on the price of the new vehicle. Equally frustrating were low ball offers on our very clean proposed trade in vehicle. Having done my homework before entering the dealership, I knew what I should pay for the new car and what I should expect on a trade offer for my old car. Bob Wade's Sales Manager simply went right to numbers that I knew were honest and straight forward, so we did not have to dance around to get to the bottom line. It was one of the most pleasurable new car purchases that I have experienced in my 50 years of buying new cars. Great Dealership! Great people to work with.

Brian Strahin was the dealer I was connected to from the time I was first contacted by the dealership after pricing the vehicle online with Consumer Reports. He made buying the new car I wanted easy and painless. I was sold an Easy Care Service warranty after the sale when financing was set up that came with a 30 day 100% refund. After I got home and looked at the material, I decided to cancel the warranty which cost $1764 plus $46.75 tax and called the dealership to cancel. It took about 6 weeks to get the refund for some reason and be aware that ordinarily the sales tax is non-refundable I am told. Without the debacle of the extended service warranty, I could not have had a more pleasant experience in purchasing a car.

I have been purchasing new cars for 38 years. Never before, have I had such a positive new car buying experience as that which involved Chris Dooley at Bob Wade Autoworld. Bob Wade Autoworld had the Subaru Outback with my desired exterior and interior colors, along with the exact options I wanted installed. Chris Dooley was outstanding in providing me with pricing information via email. Chris was also very responsive in responding to my telephone calls. At 8:00AM in the morning, Chris provided me, via email, with his price on the car. After a couple of telephone calls to Chris, we had a "gentlemen's agreement" regarding the exact dollar amount of the transaction to drive the car off the lot. Later that afternoon, my family and I drove the 115 mile (2 hour) trip to Harrisonburg to complete the deal. Upon arrival, Chris was most professional and continued with his "no salesman pressure" demeanor. Chris was in a league all by himself .... he was so unlike all the other new car salesmen I have dealt with over the past 38 years. Chris Dooley provided nothing less than a completely positive buying experience. The entire buying experience was very efficient. Within 2.5 hours upon arriving at Bob Wade Autoworld, we were driving back home in our new Subaru Outback. I would recommend Chris Dooley and Bob Wade Autoworld to anyone interested in buying a new Subaru. They are in a class above all the rest!

This was our first experience purchasing a vehicle, so we were a little nervous about the whole process going into it. Bob Wade gave us the best price we came across both here and in other states for the Crosstrek! They spent much time and energy getting us the EXACT car we wanted, without any extra fees. Helen went above and beyond normal salesmanship - she treated us like people instead of numbers. We stopped by the dealership on a Saturday afternoon. Travis remembered us from a year ago and knew what we were looking for. He was very helpful and immediately took us to a new trade-in. We put a deposit on the car and returned Monday at 5. We were finished up by 7, a quick efficient experience. The car was purchased for my son and he has an excellent ride which should last him through college. The financing was right where we needed it to be. All around we are very happy with our experience at this dealership and I will return!

Forget the routine, high-pressure sales that lack empathic, personal interaction. Travis Utley promotes and believes in the brand he sells. The price he gave me off-the-bat was more than $1,000 below that of another dealership for literally the exact same vehicle. I did a lot of research beforehand, and the price he gave me was also significantly below the average price paid for that vehicle nation-wide; it's nice getting a fair price without the hassle of negotiation. The finance department at Wade was also great to work with. The whole process was a positive experience.

This was my first new car purchase, and it went extremely well. I used TrueCar to find the dealership and worked with Brian Strahin. They didn't have the model and options I wanted in stock, so Brian worked diligently to find it. I actually got more car than I expected for less money than other dealerships were advertising. From start to finish, my experience with Dustin and Bob Wade Subaru was positively outstanding. I used consumerreports.com to contact several dealers initially, but many of the dealers in our area responded with prices that were just too high, and they weren't very flexible. Dustin, however, wrote immediately to let me know that he could offer me an even lower price than the guaranteed price negotiated through Consumer Reports. Intrigued, I contacted him, and he immediately set to work finding a 2015 Outback that matched my specifications. Within 30 minutes, he had found my car, and before the day was out, I was able to put a down payment on it. When I came to the dealership to pick it up the next week (in fact, they managed to get the car even earlier than promised--so convenient!), the car and the paperwork were all ready and waiting, and Dustin walked me through all the car's various functions. To my utter delight, he also told me that the car had come with a few unanticipated extras--all at no extra charge! The car has been wonderful--of course--after all, it's a Subaru. To top off such an excellent experience, Dustin followed up with me to make sure everything was okay with the car, and he even left a happy birthday message for me on my phone. I cannot recommend Dustin highly enough, and I would not hesitate to send any family member or friend to Bob Wade--what an amazing place! Thank you so much!

My 2015 Forester XT was the second Subaru and the eighth vehicle my family has bought from Bob Wade. I live less than a mile from a different Subaru dealer but we keep returning to Bob Wade because they are always friendly to us and our dog and have given us what we considered "fair" for some less than perfect trade-ins. Dustin took the time to show me how EyeSight worked and the whole experience was as easy as buying a car can be. The service department is also top notch. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable and don't try to sell you service(s) you don't need. The Subaru dealer closest to me seems to always recommend either a fluid flush, cabin/engine air filter change, or alignment regardless of why you bring your car in.

As a new car buyer right out of college I was extremely impressed with BobWade Autoworld. I was looking at a Legacy closer to DC and found an almost identical vehicle at BobWade. Dustin made his firt impression more positive than any experience I'd received from other places. He made car buying easier and personable. We took Forester #2 there for service and were impressed with the friendliness, competence, and efficiency of the service manager and mechanics. From the first time we stopped by the dealership in the spring of 2014 until we bought a new Forester in February 2015, Brian Strahin and everyone else we met were always courteous and upfront with us. We got an excellent price on the new Forester, and a fair price on our trade after comparing with an appraisal from CarMax. The paperwork process at delivery got a bit tedious, but that is the nature of the process anywhere. The staff was never pushy and stood behind all representations made even though the vehicle we wanted had been sold and the sales manager had to get an identical Forester from another dealer. No hesitation in recommending this dealership.

needed to replace by '13 Outback, totaled in wreck. In checking on-line, saw just a few cars that met my needs, scattered over 100 mie radius in Northern Va and Maryland.Bob Wade's folks responded to email quickly, clearly and without trying to lead me anywhere beyond what I was interested in finding.When I went to the dealer, they were very busy, but nevertheless got Brian to work with me within 2 minutes of arrival. Brian and the sales manager got to their bottom line quickly, with minimal haggle, and their bottom line was over $900 less than exactly the same car, with same mileage, closer to DC Needed wheel well liners installed, which was done within two days. Closing went quickly, with minimal pressure for add-ons. The car arrived completely ready-to-go. It' certainly worth the pretty drive to Harrisonburg to give Bob Wade a shot at your business. I know I'll go back.

He gave me several options and styles of vehicles all without being pushy or overbearing as some sales people can be. We test drove several cars and after I found what I liked, Brian found one in the color and with the options I had requested. My first Subaru, a Crosstrek and I could not be more pleased at this point. Brian gave me a full tour of their facility, introduced me to the other personnel along with the service manager. After the sale and I had taken the car home, Brian called me to see what I thought and how the car was meeting my expectations. Great sales process and follow-up. Highly recommended.

I have gotten two cars from Bob Wade Auto World. One was new and the other used. Both times we were treated like family. We went to a couple of surrounding dealers and felt pressured into buying a car that we showed interest in. Taking our credit info and running it through before we decided to get the car was a total turnoff. Scott Lokey was friendly, helpful, and never pressured us. There was one problem with the used car we got, and had no problem with them repairing it. I would not hesitate getting another car from them and dealing with Scott Lokey as my dealer.

On October 11th 2014, my wife and I traveled over 130 miles (one way) to Bob Wade Subaru in order to purchase a 2014 Subaru Impreza. This was the 11th Subaru that we have purchased or leased over the last 19 years, and each and every one of them were purchased at Bob Wade Subaru.Why Subaru? Most Subaru owners will know that this question doesn't even need to be addressed. Subarus have proven to be rugged, reliable vehicles that perform exceptionally in all types of weather. They will definitely take where you need to go, when you need to get there, and they will continue doing it for year after year. Two of the 11 Subarus that I purchased were used models with over 160,000 miles, and I didn't hesitate in making the purchase when it came to dependable transportation.Why Bob Wade Subaru? Our first transaction back in 1995 was due to the proximity of the dealership to where we were vacationing at the time. Every transaction since then has been due to the positive experience with Bob Wade starting with that first transaction. We met Dale while shopping for a 2006 Tribeca and have been working with him ever since, purchasing 8 of our 11 Subarus through him. Dale's easy going style makes the customer feel at home, and his way of doing business is to serve as a true advocate for what the customer want. He doesn't try to sell the customer more than they need, and he works with the customer to make sure the best possible price is obtained. We have been dealing with Dale long enough that it has gotten to the point that our last few transactions have been handled primarily over the telephone. I will call Dale, tell him exactly what we want, and he will find it and make it available at the lowest possible price. There is no need to haggle, and there has never been a case where we were asked to "settle" for something other than exactly what we wanted. Sales people like Dale are very rare, which is one more reason we make the 260 mile round trip to deal with him.Our experience with Subaru has been outstanding. Our experience with Bob Wade has been totally enjoyable. And out experience in dealing with Dale Smith has been phenomenal. We will continue to travel to Bob Wade Subaru for our sales and service needs.

Andrew Long was the most helpful of all internet agents interviewed; pushy not. Best offering price. Most options I wanted. Date for Subaru pickup earlier than expected. Met by Brandon Mitchell; encouraging even though I forgot my driver's license; Candice Stearns, same thing,calmed my embarrassed humbled spirit. What took all afternoon, should have taken 45 minutes because of my error. Even met some of repair shop staff because I of a question.Kim: thanks for the loaner to use while having one service done.Purchased the Subaru Forester Touring for its safety rating and options that would make it that way. Oh, and the 3 year old grandson received a signed football; happy active kid. Thanks to everyone

First, I must acknowledge that my review may be partly biased by how much I like our new Forester Premium, which fully deserves its Consumer Report's rating as the best in its class. That said, this purchase experience was different than with all my past vehicle purchases. This is the first dealership I've been to where no-one was pushy. My sales person owned a Forester and did a through job of showing all the vehicles features in a friendly, non-pushy way. The other staff I dealt with were equally friendly and helpful. They seem to believe that Subaru cars largely sell themselves, which was true for me. I researched to find what I thought was a fair price, which they accepted after checking with the sales director. The Forester came in perfect shape. The dealer services sound good and I plan to have it serviced there, which I don't usually do. My wife has become possessive of the Forester, and I'm seriously thinking of getting one for myself..

Andrew Long was very helpful in answering my MANY questions over a course of a few months. This was my first experience buying a brand new car and I had numerous questions. After searching for a 2010 Lincoln on line we found the one we wanted. Being 510 miles away my husband and I were hesitant to make the 9.5 hour trip to see our dream car. After speaking with Andrew ( online salesman) he assured me "you won't be disappointed". We took his advise and started our journey. We arrive tired 10 hours later and was greeted by Chuck Good our salesman. He made us feel so welcome !!! Saw the car from an on line ad from Bob Wade Auto World. The car was described over the phone and was exactly in person as it was described over the phone. All the information on the car's history was pulled and given to me the phone and a copy in person. Everyone was very friendly and I did not feel pressured to buy the vehicle. I bought because on the honesty of Chuck Good over the phone the dealership treated me well upon arrival.

Was told the car I was buying had been sold by them originally. Promised the service records for the car. After at least 1/2 dozen phone calls and many, many emails all of which were ignored. I drove the 100 miles back to the dealer to complain to management. Twenty minutes after I left, they suddenly had the information I needed, but only verbal, still no written records. Right.... after 6 weeks of nothing you have the answer in twenty minutes, and I'm supposed to belive you. No, and never again.

I was recommended to go here for a state inspection and I'm sorry I did. I knew I needed 1 light replaced, but found out I needed 4 lights replaced ( without my knowledge or consent to do the work). In addition, the inspector was not available for comment and the "bad" lights couldn't be found. What was supposed to be a pleasant , unobtrusive visit, turned out to be a very regretful experience. Not only did I feel taken advantage of when I left, but I also felt I was rudely treated by the general manager. I am disappointed with the company and I learned the hard way that there is no such thing as a free lunch or a free inspection.
