I recently purchased a vehicle from Bookwalter Motors and I cant say enough how wonderful the experience was. The dealership is about an hour away from where I live, but I decided to check them out based on a recommendation I received. My previous car was stolen, so when I first visited the dealership, I wasnt ready to buy because I was still sorting things out with the police and insurance. Adam Coon assisted me with trying out a few vehicles and narrowing down what I wanted. Once I figured that out, he took down my vehicle preferences and let me know that because I wasnt ready to buy that day, he would keep an eye out for vehicles that fit my needs and when they found one, would let me know. When I was ready to move forward with a purchase, I let Adam know and he found a car for me within just a few days. In addition to that, because I didnt have a car to drive while I was shopping, Bookwalter Motors delivered a loaner vehicle to my home so I could still make it to work each day. When I was ready to purchase, Adam also met me at work during my lunch break to give me my new vehicle and pick up the dealership car. During a very stressful experience, Bookwalter Motors, and Adam, made my life so much easier by finding exactly the car I wanted and delivering not one, but two cars to me when I lived over an hour away. I will absolutely be recommending them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

Our family has been dealing with Bookwalter Motor Sales for years. Having owned several GM cars over the years, I have dealt with many dealers do to the fact that we live 2 1/2 hours away from Stanton. Bookwalter Motor sales has always went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of any issues/service with my vehicles. If GM wants to boost sales, they should consult Bookwalter Motor Sales. It is a good feeling knowing that if you have a problem with your GM vehicle, that the folks at Bookwalter will take care of you without any hassle.

We've taken our car to Bookwalter for the past two years for oil changes and other service repairs it needed. I'd always been impressed with the service department. They are courteous and professional on the phone and in person. When it was time to get a different vehicle, we looked no further than Bookwalter. It was important to us to keep business local. Adam Coon, sales manager, made the car buying process so easy for us! He took his time with us and explained everything. We never once felt pressured to purchase from Bookwalter, as we all know pushy salesmen are a turnoff! We put our trust in Adam and purchased our car that day. He had it all ready to go when promised. He took the time to show us how all of the interior features (bells & whistles) worked in our new Chevy Traverse. WE are loving it! We'd also like to thank Adam for making this be such a positive experience for us!

I recently purchased a previously-owned Buick LaCrosse from Adam Coon at Bookwalter's. Adam was a pleasure to work with--easy going, helpful and not pushy. This is the second used car I've purchased from Bookwalter's, and I've been very pleased with both cars and the service I've received. Everyone I've ever dealt with, from the showroom floor out to service and the body shop, has been very nice to work with. I highly recommend Bookwalter's if you're looking for a new or used vehicle.

My husband and I were in need of a used truck as our business relies on one. After searching locally and then the internet we found Bookwalter which had a used truck, decent miles and what we thought was a fair price. It seems that used trucks are hard to find at an affordable price these days unless you get something over 100,000 miles. When we called on the truck my husband spoke to Adam. We live an hour away so didn't want to make the trip if the truck was no longer available. It was and when we arrived Adam had it out front for us ready for a test drive. The truck was clean, motor was spotless and we took it out to test. He had a trade-in price ready for us when we returned and was very low-pressure. Ultimately we decided to purchase the truck and have been very happy with it and with the service we received at Bookwalter. We will definitely look to them for our next purchase and would recommend.

Our thanks goes out to a very nice, knowledgable and non pushy salesman, ADAM COON. After shopping at few different car dealerships and being turned off by there pushy sales pitches we found the perfect one at Bookwalter Motor Sales. We were driving by late one evening after hours and pulled in to take and look. I phoned the dealership the next day and after speaking with Adam deceided we would go back and take one for a test drive. A couple of days later we deceided we were going to make a purchase with Adam. The day we showed up to make our purchase we were greeted at the door by the owner. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable while we were waiting for our saleman. We were also given good treatment by the gentleman that did our paperwork for us. We think that Adam was great in the fact that at the end of the deal, he went with us and went over the vehicle with us. He asked several times if we had any questions and told us not to hesitate and call him if we need help with anything after we leave the lot. Thanks again Adam for making our purchase a great experience with you and the company you work for. I also have to give a shout out to the service department and the front desk lady (Sorry I forgot their names). After a couple of days we noticed that one of the tires was going soft. I phoned Bookwalter Motor Sales and asked for Adam. Was told he was on vacation and was asked what I needed. Told them what was going on with the tire and she put me through with the service department. I took the vehicle back the following day for service. I was told there was a nail in the tire and that it usually costs $15.00 but they were going to cover it. I was surprised but was sure to tell them how much I appreciated it. I didn't buy the most expensive 2014 on Bookwalter Motor Sales lot but Adam Coon sure does treat me that way.. My second oil change Adam drove 22 miles to my house again just like the 1st time and got the oil changed, tires rotated and brought it back all while I was sleeping on my 3rd shift schedule. Am I being spoiled? yup ..I like it !! Thanks again Adam !

If you need a vehicle please make sure you ask for Brandon. He finds exactly what you are looking for, no pressure and at a great price. I was also very happy that he handled the finance portion as well. I traded in my car and left feeling like I wasn't robbed! I have already referred my co worker to see Brandon and am confident she will have a vehicle very soon.

Today was my 2014 Equinox's first oil change . Adam picked my vehicle up at my house 22 miles away,...Never had a dealership do that before.... He left me his vehicle while mine was being serviced . Thanks Adam and Bookwalter Motor Sales ! Cya in about 3 months

In June, after a horrible experience with another local car lot, I was positive that we would not be driving a preowned car anytime in our near future. A few days, after the bad experience, I happen to be driving by Bookwalters, and made an unexpected stop. I was greeted by an awesome, unbias sales rep, Adam Coon. Adam was someone that I felt I could trust. He was understanding, less than 'pushy' and took the time to listen about our previous experience & disappointment and understood what we were looking for. Adam allowed us to drive a car for a few days, just to make sure it's what we were looking for. Adam, along with the Finance person (sorry, I forgot his name), worked with us with no stress or pressure. No disappointments or regrets from us . Because of Adam, Bookwalters has a new customer for years to come. We will gladly continue to refer friends & family to Bookwalters. Thank you, Adam !!

After months of looking around the local dealerships ( Ionia, Lowell ) a few pushy emails out of Grand Rapids, things just didn't feel right. Then I just sort of stumbled across Bookwalter Motor Sales online. I started email conversations with Adam Coon for a few weeks.. Females usually pay more for vehicles than males so I had to test Adam. I asked dumb questions...some I already knew the answer some I didn't. Even asked twice different ways. I was on the fence whether to get another 4X4 or go with an AWD v6. I made the drive up and in the pouring rain Adam showed me the Equinox. Went back up again the next week and test drove a used 4cyl and a used V6. Decision had to be a V6 of course, so Adam went to work searching for my color which was the easy part. the V6 was harder to find. He found me a 1LT with a moon roof and remote starter and brought it in. One week later Adam delivered it to me, I signed all the papers at my house! Yeah who does that??? He took the time to show me what all the buttons did and everything else that was new to me, told me to call him anytime day or night and then it was mine :) Something else I did before I decided was to do a True Market Value, Adams price was several hundred dollars less.SO ladies come visit Adam, he's all business, he's patient, helpfull and will do right by you. This transaction was all pretty easy and Adams a sweetheart, Oh and Adam? He passed the test !! I also decided unless its a dire emergency I will drive the 22 miles north for service as well :) cya soon Bookwalters

I would recommend this dealership and Adam Coon (Salesman) to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. Adam presented himself in a very professional manner and went out of his way to get just what I was looking for. I was looking for specific's in the 2013 Equinox I wanted to purchase and Adam went right to work locating the vehicle for me. They travelled across the state to pick the vehicle up and it was ready for me to pick up in just a couple of days. I am very pleased with Adam and all the staff at Bookwalter's, they are all very professional, friendly and strive to please and meet their customers needs. Found this dealership via the Internet. Adam Coon found the truck I wanted. He was very professional and went out of his way to accommodate an out of area buyer, even offering to drive the purchased vehicle to my home. No hesitation to return to this dealership.

I knew the day I met Adam I was going to buy a vehicle from Bookwalters! And then we started going thru the process and he realized this might be a 3 month ordeal. The guy must have showed us 5 or 6 different vehicles, including two that he gladly drove across the state to get. Then came the paperwork, he drove 45 minutes to our place to deliver the truck and finish the paperwork. Had it in for a couple oil changes and some body work too. Somebody meets you at the door every time, whether it's Linda to get your mileage and a few other vitals or the manager Kevin. Thanks Adam, you'll see us again soon.

i've been buying cars from other dealerships for 30 years and Bookwalters was the best experience ever at purchasing a car ! Adam answered all my questions accurately and honestly [ I already knew most of the answers ] and I really enjoyed talking with him. Impressed that while I was waiting for Adam getting me some more data on the 2013 Chevy Cruze we were buying, the owner, John Bookwalter came out and talked with me for a couple of minutes about hometown news. Brandon made the financing move real smooth and pickup the very next day was very fun and exciting for my wife and i !

Everyone was very helpful in the process of buying our new vehicle. They took care of all the major details for us. The setup is very family orientated; in their waiting room they have various snacks and beverages. I appreciate all of their help in buying our new 2014 Chevy Silverado.

I was shopping for a used vehicle and went to Bookwalter Motor Sales were I was greeted nicely by Adam. Adam answered all of the questions I had and was very helpful in my purchase. He found just what I was looking for. He was a big help to me that is for sure! When I had any questions after I had bought my vehicle Adam was still there to help me. I had been looking for a used vehicle for awhile and had looked at Bookwalter Motor Sales online. There online website was very easy to find just what I was looking for. I emailed them from there to get some more information and I received an email back in a very short time. Adam was very helpful in my buying process and had great customer service and made me feel welcomed every time I was in contact with him about my big purchase. I am very happy with my vehicle and will definitely go back in the future and would recommend Bookwalter Motor Sales to anyone looking for a vehicle because they will try their hardest to find you what you may be looking for, which Adam did for me! I bought a car from here the other day and what a great group of people at Bookwalter motor sales. Adam (sales) greated me and helped me with everything. He always kept what I wanted in mind and helped me termendously. Their service department is great and Brandon also was a great help. I when to Bookwalter after reading a few of these reviews and was quite impressed with how accurate they were. These guys really know how to treat a customer and are probably well aware that most people read reviews these, especially when driving some extra miles to shop. Long story short, Brandon and the whole team over there made us feel welcome and appreciated for considering their dealership. They got us a great price, delivered on everything they said they would and followed up with us several weeks down the road to make sure we were still happy (who does that?!?!?!). We'll see these guys again next year when my daughter will need a vehicle. Why would my family go anywhere else when we know we'll get the best from these guys! I have been to several repair shops all over west Michigan. I live in Ionia and would frequently buy and service at Berger. A bad expirience led me to Bookwalters and i wish i would have came here sooner! The service manager Kevin Smith is wonderful! Found the problem quickly, vehicle is back to normal! Even a member of the sales team greeted me with coffee and donuts! I will definately be back here! Thanks Bookwalters!
