I bought my 2021 Explorer Timberline from Ted Miller. Ted treated my wife and I like family. We felt welcomed and important. Ted was very attentive to our needs and left us feeling confident with our buying decision. When we picked up our new vehicle, Ted calmly walked us through the purchasing process and also gave a great demo on the Explorer. Way back in 2001 I walked into this dealer intending to buy a car, but as I was treated with contempt by the salesman, who seemed annoyed because he did not realize I actually intended to buy a car, and actually blew cigarette smoke in my face, I left and avoided Ford entirely for many years. It was shocking in comparison to the dealer next door, which was so great for so many years. In 2016 I wanted a Focus ST but without the expensive features (just performance), and all over Metro Detroit there was nothing like what I wanted, except at Briarwood Ford where they had two that were perfect. Since that time I have noticed in shopping cars and helping others shop cars, that this dealer is very uncommon with what they have on their lot. They ALWAYS have better selection of option combinations than the other dealers in Michigan. I appreciate that and took a risk in going back there after 15 years. The car was great, the salesman was good and the finance guy was outstanding. I greatly appreciated the patience of the finance guy in finding the best lender for my situation. The offer on my trade in was surprisingly good for a dealer as well. Flash forward to 2021 and I noticed my drive shaft axle gaskets were leaking. They got my car fixed under warranty, cleaned up a few minor recalls, and did not try to sell me maintenance that I did not need. I am glad to see this dealer become worthy of our community.

I usually don't write reviews but because how smooth and honest the service department was at Briarwood I thought they'd deserve it. Now I usually don't take my vehicles to dealerships because of my past experiences but I decided to roll the dice because they were right around the corner from where my fusion broke down. I talked to Ken the service manager about my transmission problem and he was honest and friendly. He recommended a tow truck co. and some advice on how to pay for your towing bill! I really needed my car and he said I'll do my best. Long story short,I got my car in and out that day and when he gave me my bill I was shocked how low it was. Get a hold of Ken and his team they'll take care of you.

Employees and service were great. I had The Works package done and in a reasonable time. They were on time with scheduled appointments which is always appreciated. Only complaints I have were about the actual services provided. My tires were not inflated with more air. The tire pressures were the exact same, which were lower than they should be. My car was not washed, which I am not sure if this is actually included in the works package but any other time I've received services on my car at other Ford locations they always washed my car after the services were complete. **Update** They called and offered to place air in my tires and apologized for missing this. Unfortunately I do not live close by to drop in, but I appreciated the fact of how quickly they responded to my concern and offered to correct it. Great customer service to reach out so quickly and offer to fix an understandable mistake.

I worked with Ted and he was extremely pleasant and helpful, and has the most adorable little puppy named Molly as well. There was a bit of a mix-up, but Ted was accommodating and helpful and made the process very easy. It was a quick and painless process and I'm still loving my car a week later.

The service was very good. I found everyone to be polite and go out of their way to help me. The gentlemen that waited on me, drop off to my work, and checkout was terrific. The only negative experience was when I was getting dropped back off at my car two employees in vehicles were blocking the road for me to get dropped off. They seen us there as they were pulling up and stopping and continued to have a lengthy conversation blocking the road and didn't even acknowledge our presence. The younger gentlemen was a service personnel because he followed me into the office to get my car. The other guy was in the parking lot fixing something on a car. A couple of minutes would have been acceptable but it was ridiculous. All personnel should be concerned with customers regardless if they are customer facing or not.

I was looking for a specific vehicle and located what I was looking for at Briarwood Ford. Contact the dealership and made an appointment with the salesman, Ted was ready for me when I arrived, he was knowledgeable of the vehicle I was looking at. Initially excellent, but once sale was made and issues that were well documented from day of purchase were ignored through numerous phone calls and emails (to sales and management). I would highly suggest going elsewhere (no service/rude once they've got your money). My requests were thoughtful and reasonable (merely asking for defect to be fixed upon purchase). I would have appreciated a response, even if it was we can't help you but they didn't even have the service to do that.

We bought a used vehicle from Larry Gakle and had a great experience. We drove over 125 miles and we were able to wrap everything up in a few hours and were on our way home with the new ride. A couple days later we realized a part was missing from the console and Larry shipped it directly to our home! You were very quick at getting back to us about what you found during the diagnostics and the work was performed quickly once the parts were in. I can't attest to the quality of the actual mechanics; I suppose time will tell. The brakes perform exactly the same as they did before we had them totally redone with new pads and rotors. We are no longer getting error messages on the dash but I am still not totally sold on the fact that our truck needed an entire new ECU rather than just two new sensors. I just have to hope that I was not taken advantage of.

One of the service managers, Ken is really shady. My 2011 Escape had a exhaust leak and left the car at the dealership yesterday. The guy told me the car would be repaired and ready by today, but he did not even check or give an update to me until I called him this afternoon (3pm'ish) and said the repair cannot be done until tomorrow. I demanded to have my car fixed today (the guy said the fix for the exhaust leak has not even started at first) and after a couple of phone calls, when I decided to pick up my car without the repair, he said they actually started the repair by putting a pipe in, but still cannot be finished today because a welding guy is not available. As a result, I could not even pick my car up today. It is like they are holding my car as a hostage for a few hundred dollars. What the xxxx is this?So basically, this Ken guy 1) LIES; 2) is incompetent in customer service; 3) has the I-have-your-car-what-you-gonna-do attitude once you leave your car; 4) does shady things to get $$$ from you. Please avoid him as much as possible. At this point, it is hard for me to trust any personnel at the dealership and I am worried about my car, but will see tomorrow.

Ordered key fob, setup appointment after dealer received key fob. Turned up on time for appointment. Said I would wait for programming as I expected it to take no more than half and hour, service rep did not contradict that statement. Took two and a half to program the key fob, at the point of leaving when I saw my car pull up. I would have left the car if I had known. I told the service rep it was unacceptable to keep me waiting that long for a job that should only take 10 minutes. Only reply rep made was some lame excuse about not being co-ordinated. I went on to say if I received a customer satisfaction survey I would blast them for poor service. I don't believe in writing anonymously anything I wouldn't say to someone's face. I don't know if it was related to my statement but I never did receive a followup invitation to give feedback.Key fob programmed OK and works so I guess that is something. However cost over $200 for the keyfob including $80 for programming. Seems excessive, got a chevy key fob $80 with no charge for programming same week (lost both keys at the same time).

Great repair paint work on subsurface defect (2015 F150 warranty). Finish looks totally perfect with no hint of repair or mismatch. Body shop was also able to coordinate with dealership and work in an oil change, saving me another trip. Great job Briarwood Ford.

My car was done on time and at the price I was quoted. The only issue was upon checkout. There was a new cashier behind the counter and a HUGE line. The checkout process took FOREVER! He was slow and not familiar with how to take off the rewards on my account and the long line of people behind me was growing by the moment. There was only one person in front of me when I arrived and he messed up her checkout. It took a long time to do her checkout which then caused a snowball affect. The porter who brought me my car was very friendly and nice and even commented on the rescue sticker on my window as he too rescued 2 cats from our local animal shelter. You have a great friendly staff of people who work at the dealership! Only downfall was the very very slow and not experienced people behind the counter checking people out. Mine should have been a two second process which ended up taking almost 20 minutes! Not good!

I purchased a 2017 Escape from Mark Garcia. The entire process of buying the car was relaxed, friendly and informative. The dealership was open with a clean, bright environment. The cars for test driving were equipped with options I was interested in seeing. Mark knew the model very well and gave use good information. The interactions regarding finance were made very easy and stress free. I would absolutely buy another car from Mark and will take my Escape to Briarwood for repairs.

I went in for a shaky steering wheel and to have a slow leak in one of my tires repaired. I was told my tires were worn down and cupping was causing the shaking. I am glad they did not repair the leak first and then tell me I needed new tires. That would have been a waste of money. After getting new tires the shaking is gone.

The only issue I had was when I got home and started to look at it I found a few things that should have been taken care of during pre-delivery. I wrote up the issues and returned the vehicle for service. They were taken care of. I plan to leave the vehicle un-used until a little later as I don't need it right now. Our buying experience was pretty much as expected. I am a purchasing person so I'm used to the hard sell and Ted was a soft-hard seller. However, when I noticed that my car was missing a seat handle, Ted had one swiped off another car so I could take my Flex home. Prior to last week, I would have rated this a 3.However, Ted's service after the sale is saving Ford. Our Flex, 6 months old, has a throttle problem so prevalent that the part is on THREE WEEK backorder without a recall being issued. The car cannot be driven, and the dealership close to our home (Tom Holzer) gave my wife the runaround on a loaner for this clear warranty problem. We called Ted at Briarwood and he worked with Holzer to cut through the red tape to get us a loaner. If I ever buy a Ford again, I'll drive to Saline to buy it from Ted assuming he maintains this high level of responsibility.

I noticed when I got home that every time I get an oil chang done it's a different price for the exact same service. Also when I called about dropping my truck off for two days to get two minor repairs done I was told I needed at least a week and a half notice. If I knew it was this hard to get work done on my vehicle I would have bought it from another dealer. Will definitely shop around with the next vehicle.

I was very pleased with the timeframe it took to service my vehicle for my oil change. Also, I had brought the car by the weekend before without an appointment to get an oil change and have them check my tire pressure (since the low tire pressure indicator was on). Unfortunately, they were very busy, but despite that, they still addressed my tire issue that day while making me an appointment for my oil change the following week. I thought that was above-and-beyond, and really appreciated.

Ted Miller was recommended to me by a sibling of mine. They explained to me about how nice Ted Miller was and how good he is at his job, but that was an understatement. Ted Miller is super friendly and is AMAZING with what he does here at Briarwood Ford. I explained to him how in love I was with Ford Fusions. He took the time out to learn about me not only as a customer, but as a friend. He knew how in need I was with a car and he tried so hard to get me what I needed. Outside of cars, we even had great conversations such as his penny collection and helped me start one. He taught me a lot about it and it was interesting. I came into Briarwood Ford four different times to purchase a vehicle. We came across so many obstacles, to the point where I saw no hope in me getting a car at all. One thing Ted never did was give up on me. Every time we had an issue, he went above and beyond to figure out how to solve it. We found a used 2013 Ford Fusion that I really liked and was looking forward to purchasing, I walked out with a brand new 2016 Ford Fusion. I could literally go on and on about my experience with Ted and Briarwood Ford, but just know you would be crazy to deal with anyone other than thee amazing Ted Miller. I bought a Ford Fusion Energi. The car is great, but I think the sales staff needs to be better educated on the product, as well as some of the auxiliary products. After the test drive and decision to purchase, the financial details and paperwork were attended to quite efficiently, which I loved. But I wasn't told a lot about the car, and the owner's manual failed to detail some of the differences between a standard Fusion and the Energi. I had to come back to the dealer because how you open the gas tank door and how it tells you to do so in the manual are different. The first day I walked in, I wanted side-window deflectors installed. On the Ford website, it is a feature that's available on the build-a-car part. I asked about it and was told the salesman would get back to me. I'm still waiting three weeks later. Apparently it is not a common request, but the salespeople should be educated on all available products.

Most dealerships couldn't wait to get me out their door since I wasn't their ideal customer and it seemed like they viewed me as a waste of time. Their loss was Briarwood's/Ford Credit's gain, because my car payment was my #1 priority since the car was needed as transport to my job. I set payments on automatic withdraw so I would never be late, and now I've built my credit score and reputation with Ford Credit. Due to Briarwood Ford and Ford Credit taking a chance on me when others wouldn't, and Mike working hard to get me into a lease, I am very loyal to Briarwood Ford. Thanks again! I purchased a 2016 Escape. My salesman, Larry Gakle explained all of my options on the car and my options on rebates and financing in a clear understandable manner. When I picked up my car, he spent time explaining how all the "gizmos" worked and reset my key-less entry code for me.He did such a great job that my sister, who was dropping me off to pick up my car, got to talking with him and ended up test driving a car and after returning with her husband, later that day, she too bought a 2016 Ford.The only negative part was having to listen to all the extended service options.

Recently took my focus for a unscheduled oil change on a Saturday morning 10:00am. I asked how long will might take, it looked relatively slow. The check in technician told me about an 1 1/2 hour but lunch comes at 11:30am so it may take longer? I almost left at that point but I expressed please, you are not very busy today from what I see. It took 1hour and 15minutes. It appeared to me I was more of a problem and in the way than a customer. Should be aware you are there to provide service not tell customers lunch is first. there was multiple mechanics do they all eat at 11:30am? Also, workers made coffee for themselves while us few customers just sat in waiting area with empty coffee pots. it was rude.

I had my vehicle serviced at Quick Lane. I've never had anything other than a pleasant experience with those who work here. The gentleman I spoke with over the phone to schedule my appointment recognized my name/vehicle and made a point to introduce himself as the one who scheduled me, which I felt was very thoughtful and made me feel like an important customer. I had two factory recalls on my vehicle and unfortunately they only had time to do one of the recalls (but they picked the most important one, thankfully) so I'll have to come back again soon to get the other one finished. Other than that I had a great experience!

For many years, I have tried to avoid your regular service department. In my opinion, the service advisors are about the worst I had ever dealt with (except when Marty was out there). I know what it is like to work on that side of the service counter, as I did it myself for a Lincoln dealer for several years.But about 4 years ago, I stopped into QuickLane and had my first (of many) dealings with Matt Foley. He is by FAR the best thing to EVER happen to Briarwood's service department. No matter what the situation, he is polite, professional, friendly and helpful. I have never had a problem dealing with Matt.

I purchased a 2016 Mustang convertible. It is fantastic! It is so smooth and quiet, you can't tell its a convertible with the top up! Took a highway trip right away and got 28.5 mpg, before it was even broken in! It has many, many amazing features, too. Our experience was very nice. We went in not knowing what we wanted. We told the staff member what we wanted in a vehicle and he let us test drive an Escape. It had everything we asked for and some extras too. When we went back into the dealership he sat right down and figured out 2 different ways for us to get the car. He showed us what we would be able to do to get the car and when we decided on an amount he printed up all the paper work and got us into our car the very next day. It was late when we finally decided to get the Escape and we had to contact our insurance co. before we took it home. It was so easy and pleasant. We certainly will come back for our next vehicle. I have a 2012 Transit Connect, purchased at Briarwood Ford in Saline, MI. The last three times that I had my oil changed and tire rotation there I lost a hub cap with in miles of the dealership. I had my tires rotated there this last Monday Oct. 5th, 2015. And like I said two miles down the road I stopped at a store and a cap was gone. Next day the same. The dealership said that they would replace the hub cap... But now I am out another cap the following day. Not Happy

I bought a Ford 2016 Escape. I really like the service there at Briarwood. My sister highly recommended them, and even though they were a ways away to go to it was worth it. I hate all the waiting and paperwork, though I know some have to be done. Bruno and Tom had everything ready to go, everyone was friendly and pleasing, there was no pressuring whatsoever. Bruno explained everything to me on the paperwork and on the car. I don't remember getting that much info all at once, and understanding it all. I did not feel like I was sitting around and waiting, and waiting. I have a hearing problem and they were great about speaking up when I said I did not hear them. I have in the past, had things explained to me, and a year later discovered what something was, not this time, I don't think Bruno missed a thing, and if I had a question he had an answer for me. So nice. So thanks Bruno and Tom, and for a great dealership.

It was really busy and when they took my keys they didn't tell me how long. After about a half hour someone else asked and we were told an hour and a half. When my car was done the person to check me out wasn't around, I waited for about 10 minutes. I didn't receive a report as to what they didn't and how my car was doing, such as tire and brake wear that I've received at other Ford dealerships.

My recall was done in less time than was estimated. Steve at Briarwood Ford was his usual charming self. My husband and I were very happy with our service. My only suggestion would be, in situations such as recalls that my car could have been returned to me washed. I know this is a small thing however, I had to do a lot of rearranging of my schedule to take care of this recall. When I asked the porter if I could have it washed he said, "sure!" However there were 2 cars ahead of me and I didn't want to wait. He said it would not have been a problem if I would have mentioned it earlier. I feel a free car wash should be standard customer service on all recalls.I would like to emphasis that everyone I spoke with that day was extremely nice and I will definitely be back,

There was some confusion on the tire rotation. The lock nut key was in the rear door pocket which I did not tell the service person. He found it and returned it to the glove box. When I got home I look into the rear door pocket to see if he had returned the key and of course it wasn't there. I had to come back to the dealership to get this cleared up, but it all worked out fine.

My mom purchased a Fusion from Ted at the end of July. This was the first car my mom bought since my dad died a few years ago - she'd never bought a car on her own. She was very anxious, unsure of the process, and afraid she'd be taken advantage of. Ted was a saint - he walked her through the process, made sure she understood the costs, and answered all of her questions. He spent time after hours to ensure she was comfortable with the car once she picked it up. Ted even dropped the title off at her house later that week to save her a trip to the dealer. I called for an oil change and dropped my car off. I was told it would be $59.00 and about an hour. I asked about the price and Ken ask if my engine was the basic 4 cyl and I told him yes and Ken said $59.00 cover it. I made sure that someone would call me when my car was finished so I would be ready for the courtesy shuttle. about 2.5 hours later my phone rang and I was told they had been trying to get a hold of me for awhile. They were told my phone has been next to me and this is the first it has rang. It was explained to me that the shuttle was on the way. I waited another 30 minutes then I called to find out what was going on. Ken answered the phone and began yelling at me ( the customer ) about how they had been trying to call me and I was not answering. I explained to Ken that I had been outside of the office and my cell phone was in my hand and the phone did not ring. Ken continued to be rude, I repeated for the 3rd time that someone from Briarwood Ford did get through to me once and that was the only time my phone rang. He continued berating me. I interrupted him telling him this was ridiculous and when was someone coming to pick me up. Ken told me that this was a COURTESY shuttle and maybe I should pick up the phone when it rings. Again, I told Ken that my phone only ran once and I picked it up. Ken told me in he wonderful demeaning tone my phone number, only it was 1 digit off ( remember they where given the correct number and some did contact me ). Then Ken change his tone and tried to be my best friend. I told Ken, what, when you think it is my fault you can yell at me, but when you find out your wrong you can now try and be nice and that is OK. Ken replied yep, and proudly replied, that's how I was raised. I explained to him that I was the customer and should never be treated like this even if he thought he was right, because he could be wrong and look like the fool he now looks like. He ask me to hold on while he got the correct number to the courtesy shuttle. While I was on hold with him the shuttle called me confirmed my address and told me they would be there in 10 minutes. I was still on hold with Ken,when took me off hold and assured me someone would come pick me up. Ken then told me there would be no cost for my oil change. I finally got to BRIARWOOD FORD in Saline. I went to the counter to get my car. The person behind counter told me Ken had my paper work and I asked, where is Ken. In few minutes he showed up. He told me I was all set HE paid for the oil change. I told Ken no I was paying for it that free can not fix how I was treated and asked him where do I go pay for this, Ken would not answer me so I asked again and he did not respond and I went to back to the counter to see where I could pay. I asked how much and was told $72.00 ( remember I was told by Ken $59.00). I told the cashier I was told $59.00, and she told me with my engine it was more because it took an extra quart.Remember Ken asked me my engine type and was told the correct engine type and still gave me the incorrect answer. I paid the $72.00 and left. This review is long, but I want anyone out there thinking of using BRIARWOOD FORD in Saline to understand, I was treated so poorly that free could not fix it.That is why I paid for the service from BRIARWOOD FORD in Saline and wrote this review.

On February 20, 2015 I walked into Briarwood Ford in search of a specific vehicle, a 2014 Ford Mustang GT/ black. I was immediately greeted by Ted Miller. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. As a Director of Sales for a catering company, I understand the importance of customer service. I'm sure Ted had plenty of projects/deals in the works and was in the middle of a busy day when I walked in the dealership shortly after noon. However, Ted made me feel as if I were his only customer and gave me his full attention. What's more important is he listened, he actually listened to my particular needs/wants in a vehicle. He quickly found what I was looking for and offered to have it on the lot in a day. My father is a retired engineer from Ford Motor company and I have been buying Ford vehicles for 32 years and my guess is I was shopping for my 18th Ford purchase. I can say without a doubt that Ted Miller made the process of acquiring this vehicle the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a Ford or Lincoln Mercery dealership ever. Long story short, I ended up leasing a 2015 F-150 Supercab and I am very happy with my new truck!! I wasn't reffered to Ted or Briarwood Ford by anyone, no one told me to "go see Ted". I just walked in off the street and Ted treated me with all the respect and professionalism I would expect and then some. Every step of the way Ted kept me informed and updated. He was never overbearing and not once did I feel pressured to make a decision. He introduced me to Ken Smigielski in service who helped me with a vehicle I already owned (Explorer XLT) by adjusting my headlights while I was meeting with Ted. My entire experience... From walking in the dealership on day one, to driving away in my new F150 on day three was an experience that has made me a Briarwood Ford Customer for Life. Ricky and Mike Collins worked well together. Mike was given to me handle the purchase of 2009 Taurus X. Mike helped me test fix many of my handyman tools from my Expedition XLT. Life is changing for me and need to step back in size. We also had the other car I was thinking about too during the test, FLEX. Space, few total vehicle mileage and heated seats was my goaled. Ricky for it and thought of me, Mike is handling my transition well. I buy two or three cars each 11 or 14 years. So the technology has changed a lot (2001 expedition and 2003 Focus, GF has 2007 Jeep). I am having issues with Taurus X message DRIVER DOOR AJAR and the interior lights stay on for 29 minutes. Very difficult to drive in the dark to and from work with those lights on. Mike is going to get back to me soon with possible solutions. I leave on the Plymouth/Livonia boarder, a longer drive for me to you. So far it has been worth it with Mike helping. I hope the MESSAGE and LIGHT issue gets resolved soon. I cannot figure out how to expose the circuit breakers beneath the steering wheel to pull the fuse on the lights, that would help when driving in the dark; the interior lights on make it hard to see while driving. I signed my very first lease this week for a 2015 Ford Escape!! I've been driving a 2004 Escape since my 16th birthday and (almost) my entire family drives a Ford. As an Ann Arbor resident, I would normally go to the dealership (which I will not name) closer to my home but Briarwood Ford was recommended to me by a friend who commended you on your customer service, friendliness, and the way you operate as a dealership. After a bit of research I decided to visit the dealership to look at/test drive vehicles. After working closely with Larry over the past week, I can confidently say the recommendation was 100% accurate. He was more than patient with me and helped me with all aspects of my choice. He was constantly in communication with me and answered ALL of my questions in a timely manner and without hesitation. He never pressured me into leasing or purchasing a vehicle through him and if he didn't have what I wanted with the exact specifications on the lot, he offered to bring one in from another dealer. My entire experience at Briarwood was beyond pleasant; every one of the sales associates I came in contact with, regardless of who I was working with, were extremely friendly and professional. My wife and I walked into the dealership looking for a previously owned vehicle. Not knowing where on your lot the vehicles were located we entered your showroom and was promptly greeted by Rick Tanner. We gave Rick a brief description of what we were looking for and he showed us some models that met our requirements and were able to identify that was perfect for our needs. Rick did an outstanding job with the sale of the vehicle, he was informative without being aggressive and at no point did I ever feel pressured to make a decision. As a service delivery manager in my professional life I understand and appreciate great customer service and Rick more than exceeded my expectations. An example of this is Rick identified an issue with the vehicle that my wife and I missed during the test drive and quickly took steps to correct it. The service department was not able to fix it immediately so I went to the dealership website and scheduled an appointment a few days upon receipt of the vehicle but unfortunately the schedule was a week out. Rick followed up with immediately after and advised us to bring it in and he would be able to take care of it. Not only did he fix the issue but provided me a ride back to my home so I wouldn't have to wait in the service department area while repairs were being completed. Outstanding job! Briarwood Ford will be my only stop for any future transportation needs.

I bought my Focus from Ted Miller, who was excellent. From the first phone call, there was no pressure and he answered all my questions. He made sure I knew how to use all the features. This is my first time purchasing a NEW car! I pretty much went in knowing which car I wanted (Focus), it was just a matter of finding the "right" one and discussing every purchase option I had. I shopped around and went to many other dealerships before deciding on purchasing through Briarwood. My decision to use Briarwood as my dealer was all due to Mike Collins and how friendly and honest he was! I did my research on the Escape before meeting David and my goal was to get a new car as quick as possible. David asked me all of the appropriate questions and within 10 minutes he drove my new Escape up to the showroom. We shopped on the internet for quite a long while. Decided to look one last time before actually going to a dealership. We found just what we were looking for at Briarwood Ford. We knew that we wanted a Explorer Limited in bronze or red. The salesman Al Bell was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in showing us all the details on the Explorer. Living on a gravel road we wanted mud flaps installed on the vehicle but the dealership didn't have any there in the service department. He had a co-worker who was at another dealership get them and had them installed while we ate lunch. We drove home with a new 2015 Ford Explorer Limited. I had a very good experience with Ted Miller. I had a very specific budget and didn't have a lot of options in terms of vehicles since I had four children. I appreciated his willingness to contact me often via phone, email and text. He made it very convenient. He also made a comment early on about his job wasn't to sell me a car, but to get me into a car could afford. Salesman don't have the most positive reputation, so that was nice to hear. I also was nervous about turning my lease back into Chevy since Ford couldn't buy it. I thought there was a chance I'd get a huge bill though Ted called Ally for me to find out what I'd owe after. His estimate was correct so I was relieved. I love my Flex and will definitely go back to Ted when I'm ready for a new vehicle.

Bruno was very well informed and was not pushy. I didn't intend to buy the same day I came in, but ended up feeling comfortable enough with the car, the price, and Bruno's knowledge that I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Mark Garcia was very efficient in helping me to select a car, and in making the necessary arrangements. I told him what I hoped to buy, and he provided two choices right away. One of them was perfect for me. When I discovered that my left turn signal light was about to go out, I brought it in and it was replaced within minutes. Also, through my own neglect, I didn't realize the windows in the car were tinted. I do not like tinted windows, so I called Mark, and he made arrangements for the tint to be removed, at no cost to me. For that I was very grateful. All in all, a very satisfactory car purchasing experience. I will recommend Briarwood Ford to others.

I purchased a 2014 Ford Escape. Ted Miller was a fantastic salesperson. He was low pressure, he let my wife and I develop our purchasing patterns over the course of a couple months without disrupting our process with aggressive sales tactics. He was knowledgeable of the vehicles available and considerate of our preferences. There was one little mix-up regarding financing that put my wife and I out of sorts. It wasn't made clear that the rebates precluded using the Ford financing program. Which was ultimately okay, but took us by surprise. Also the communication of our preferences and capabilities was not communicated appropriately to finance which made that conversation more stressful. Additionally, I have a touch of buyer's remorse regarding the extended service agreement. I may change my mind if something happens, but I feel as if I did not receive the value I wanted for my money in that section of the transaction.As an aside, their service center is fantastic. Our other car needed work and that's how I found them in the first place.

Larry was the best salesperson we have experienced in our purchasing history. Being a Ford employee sometimes dealerships don't want to be bothered with an A plan purchase. Larry did not treat us any differently than he would another customer. I will definitely be referring people to Larry.

One week before I visited your dealership I had talked to another sales agent at another Ford dealership in Toledo. The sales person did not have on the lot what I was looking for but did not offer to sit down and search with me, but said he would call me within 10 days. He called me the morning of the day I stopped by your dealership and said he "was still looking but was unable to locate what I wanted". So I decided to do my own shopping. I stopped into your lot and your sales agent came right out and asked me what I was looking for. You did not have one so he offered to search for me. He found several immediately. I told him I wanted to think about it for a couple of days and I would be in touch. That was on Saturday. On Monday I called him and on Tuesday afternoon I drove home with my new 2015 Ford Explorer, every detail I wanted. Ruby Red with black leather interior. I am very happy with Pat Collins my sales agent and my new vehicle!

I have a 2013 Escape which was recalled for a problem with the electrical harness. I called for an appointment which I received promptly. When I arrived at Briarwood Ford service department I was greeted by name and promptly taken care of. I asked to have my car ready by 3:00 PM and I was accommodated. Decided on a Focus 5 door. Paperwork you guys have to do is is incredible, Dawn must be crazy busy making up those customer folders for delivery. Was very efficiant and did not take allot of time from walking in to driving away. Larry was great to work with locating and securing the right vehicle for myself. Unfortunately, after driving the vehicle on the highway the first time there was a problem with the brakes and the car was returned to the service garage, literally within the first 24 hours of ownership. A loner vehicle was provided, which I dont think is standard practice but is very much appreciated!

When I first contacted Pat Collins, I wasn't even sure that I was in the market for a new car. I had no car payment and been very happy with the vehicle that I had. After taking my car in for a wierd clunking noise there was a small problem with my gas tank. As it was very hard to go without my car due to my family all being gone and no backup car, Andrea worked very hard to get us another loaner car AND to have my Explorer returned to me as quickly as possible. Everyone was professional and courteous and extremely helpful with updates and quick service. Again, unfortunately once my car was back, I had to return it again, however it was done with ease, and again Andrea went above and beyond in her customer service by once again providing me with a loaner, a free car wash and oil change. They were very quick and efficient and even though they had a lot of cars due to the recall, they made me feel like a special customer and I was satisfied with all of their help, especially Andrea who is so personable and cheerful. My husband filled out a response card incorrectly which gave the dealership a wrong grading, and I wanted to make sure that a huge shout out goes to Briarwood Ford for all of their help and quick service. A great Service department with great employees!

Just when I though my headaches were over with my 2007 Ford Focus, another problem surfaced. I started developing transmission problems. Eeek! Called Briarwood Ford, Paul Mazzara, service adviser, and they said get it here as soon as you can. So I got it there that Tuesday evening just before closing. After I dropped it off, the next day, I called other dealers and independent transmission services to see how long before they could get to me just out of curiosity. 2 weeks before they could even start looking at it. Today, got a call saying the car was ready. Took only 3 days. For those of you reading this, I suggest you just call Briarwood Ford and ask for Paul Mazzara in service. My point is this. Briarwood Ford takes pride in its service department. In the 65 years I have been on this planet, and dealing with many, many, Ford dealers throughout the years, nothing comes close to the personal service and care this dealership has to offer. The salesman who sold my daughter her car, Ted Miller, even got involved with it. This dealership works together as a team like I have never seen before. I would highly recommend Paul and Matt, if you are looking to get your car services. I have been seeing Paul for more then 10year, he always has a smile, he treaties you like a family member, and no matter how busy his day is, he never says no to help anyone. I meet Matt though Paul, and same goes for Matt, he always has a great smile on his face, no matter how the day is going. They take there time in explaining you what is the problem, and they don't try to over sale you on things that you don't need. It isn't everyday that you receive random acts of kindness from people in places you least expect them but today was one of those days and I'm sure many more will follow. I recently purchased my Escape from Briarwood Ford and I needed to order a few "cosmetic" parts for the inside. It was no problem getting the parts and picking them up, minus the tropical rain storm that occurred the day I visited the parts department. In fact I thought I was even going to be able to instal the few parts myself, it looked pretty easy! LIttle did I know it was going to be much more difficult than I thought. Paul Mazzara, who not only watched me walk in and out of the parts and service department in the pouring rain only a few days before and offered me an umbrella, offered to "check it out" when I came back needing help. His outstanding act of kindness didn't just stop with the offer to help me stay dry from the rain but continued when he spent over and hour and a half of his own personal time assisting me in putting new faces on my radio dash. I'm talking taking hidden screws, nuts, bolts and wires. Oh the wires! Now, I know a thing or two about teaching children to read or write but when it came to this you might as well told me it was brain surgery! His "yeah, I'll check it out" turned into a real maintenance and service need that could easily have cost much time and money! Paul didn't give up. He didn't leave me hanging to dry but in fact saved again. He made sure I left Briarwood Ford with screws, nuts, bolts and wires all back where they needed to be and a brand new shining radio dash. He truly performed an outstanding act of kindness, way beyond his job description. He will be remembered all the way in Colorado and I will always buy a Ford.

My 19 year daughter visited the Briarwood Service Center to get an additional key made for her Focus. This is a kid, first time to a dealer who knows nothing of cars or how things are done. The woman explained the key was $35. She was made to pull in and they inspected car to find a rear light bulb / reverse burned out. She was given an estimate of about $30 to repair it. My daughter said, "Fine". After 45 minutes she paid for it, THE BILL WAS $161! THIS WAS FOR A KEY AND LIGHT BULB. LABOR WAS $111 TO REPLACE A LIGHTBULB! MAYBE THAT WAS PARTIALLY THE LABOR TO TURN ON A LAPTOP TO PROGRAM THE KEY.My wife, daughter and I came back to complain and met with Jeff, the service manager and the woman who helped my daughter. They would not let my daughter explain things, they explained things and put things in her mouth like an attorney. I argued with them and it got very heated. The service manager stood up and got right in my face, my wife thought he was going to get physical! It was the worst experience I can imagine as a local Saline resident. The service manager is a complete xxxxxxx who made no attempt to credit us part of the insanely high amount back and justified his position with his "$7,500 laptop" to program keys and asked me "Can't your daughter read?". I was so humiliated over this meeting it was hard to describe. All over a key and a .20 light bulb! AGAIN, THIS HEATED ARGUMENT WAS IN FRONT OF MY DAUGHTER AND WIFE MIND YOU. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT OR RECOMMEND ANYONE HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE SERVICE MANAGER AT BRIARWOOD FORD. I ASKED TO SPLIT THE BILL IN HALF AND HE LAUGHED AT ME.3.26.14 Update: The sales manager, Tom Bicknell was incredibly professional. He met with us and gave my daughter a partial refund. His department is separate though from the service department. I would retrack this if the service department manager apologized personally to my daughter. It's funny, we hold our kids accountable but getting an apology from an adult is sometimes far more difficult.Thank you,Jeff Kermath

I have had outstanding experiences dealing with Briarwood Ford since the mid-eighties. From our first sleek, sporty and practical Probe to a fun filled Conversion van when the family was getting very active and I needed room for the gear of coaching baseball, basketball and soccer and later to the sporty Mustang my wife loved to drive so much. Later my son who had just graduated college had the privilege of buying the first beautifully redesigned and added power under the hood 2004 Mustang that the dealership received.Most recently, we did our first lease deal with the 2014 Focus that my wife and I who are downsizing not only our car but home just love.In all our dealings we have found the staff to be well above average in their knowledge of product and choices, and most importantly their sincere effort to put customer concerns first. I just picked up my 2013 Focus from service after a very lengthy diagnosis and confirmation of my concern. This is where I met Jeff the Service Manager. He took the time after repairs to explain what was done diagnostically and at first they could not confirm the issue. Well Jeff did not stop there. He actually offered to drive my car home because most of the concern happened first thing in the morning. The next morning, (first thing), Jeff was on the horn discussing with me that the efforts paid off in finding my concern. After repairs, not only did ne replace the gas used, he had more put in the car and had it washed, (HAND WASHED). Right from the beginning, Andrea the service writer, kept me in the loop from start to finish which is why I come to her for serveral years. It is for these reasons.. Jeff, Andrea and the techs. that I continue my business here. There are many Ford dealers that get bashed in ratings due to their conduct, NOT the Brand. These dealers should learn from Jeff and Andrea and he crew in the Service Department..Jeff, YOU DA MAN!

I would never return or suggest that anyone get service done at this location...drive a bit further and go to their close competitor(s). I wanted simple service done (oil change and tire rotation) with a service issue on an appointment. Briarwood Ford would not service my car in the allotted appointment time and could not guarantee that service would be completed. Service team was less than helpful and didn't care.Emails to staff went unanswered...it's apparent they don't care of the needs of their customers.I will not return and will urge others to not do the same. Since when has the service industry taken an appointment as an inconvenience?

We had an amazingly positive experience with Briarwood Ford. They retrieved the exact 2013 F-150 we were looking from a dealer about 50 miles away and held it on their lot for almost a month while we got our paperwork together. When the truck was delivered it was spotless and had a full tank of gas that showed over 500 miles until empty. David Crisp, our salesman, understands the Sync system very well and spent over an hour showing us everything the truck could do. The sales manager Tom Bicknell made the entire process very easy and made sure all the paperwork was taken care of before we arrived. We spent less than 20 minutes completing the transaction. Briarwood is a great local dealer who always has someone there to help you when you arrive. They will also leave you alone if you just want to look around. We have had a great experience with Paul Mazarro in the service department. Paul really cares that you get what you need when you need it. He stayed in touch with us everyday while our previous truck was in for service so we knew exactly what was going on and when to expect it. He explains what is needed to fix the vehicle and won't try to sell you something you don't need. Paul is a real car guy and we don't mind going in for service because it's always been a good experience.

My family has done business with Briarwood Ford for over a decade. We currently have four Ford vehicles in our family all purchased through Briarwood. This includes my 90 year old mother and 18 year old son. The strongest testimoney to our loyalty is that this dealership is 20 miles from my home and almost 40 from my mothers. We have to pass three Ford dealerships in order to get to Briarwood.We are always greeted by name and made to feel like they're happy to see us. I've never ever been pressured to make a decision. We feel completely confident that our best interest is the most important factor. Our all "5" rating is based on Briarwood having earned that right! I would like to start off by saying I'm not sure which rep. we dealt with, but he was very nice. I had to pick one to complete the review.The staff was very friendly and they were able to get us a great deal on a used truck with a warranty that we purchased separately. About a week after we purchased the truck my fiance noticed that one of the pumps in the engine was leaking so we took it back up to the dealership. They told us it would be about $100 just to run diagnostics to see what part wasn't working, even though we told them what part was leaking and we had the warranty. They explained that they don't honor the $0 diagnostic part of the warranty, but we could take it somewhere else that may. They then went on to tell us that if the pump in question was leaking, it would be about another $200 to replace. We looked up the part online and found that the pump sells for $40 and immediately took the truck back before they could charge us anything. We found that there was a sealant put in the pump to disguise the leak. I don't want to accuse them of putting this in there because we don't have proof, but it did sit at their dealership for a while before being sold and the employees were taking the truck home for their own use. I know this because they removed the hitch as soon as we signed the paperwork and when we asked why, they sales person said it was because it didn't come with the truck, but was being used by one of the employees that had put the hitch on there.Because of their lack of willingness to fix an issue that was obviously wrong when we purchased the truck, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Issue with a 2012 focus that the dealer I bought it from had for over a week and never could find the problem. Took it here to Briarwood Ford and within 4 days had it all taken care of. Everything was under warranty and to date has had no issues at all. Great service work and over all great dealership. During the stay we walk around of course and everything was clean and employees where all very nice to wrok/talk with.

I stopped by Briarwood Ford in early May to browse around, because I was thinking of trading in my Escape for a new car. Sam Falk came up to me while I was looking at the new Taurus and wanted to know if he could help me. He is a very, very nice and kind man, and I said okay.I ended up driving two different Taurus's, a new Escape and the Edge, of which I always wanted since they first came out. I did decide to buy the Edge.He really helped me out a lot for finding the right finance company to go through and the best percentage rate. He really went out of his way to help, as I am sure he does with every customer. I would highly recommend Sam for their dealer. Dave was very helpful. He worked with us and we had to do very little to buy the car. We talked over the phone and made a time to visit the dealership. He was there waiting for us. Every step was quick quick and at the end of the day we got a new car for a good price and no headache.

Horrible never again will I buy a Car from Briarwood Ford in Saline bad service, horrible experience all around our car has been in the shop 4 times in 2mts. We just bought the car 2 months ago.Even after putting this review up they have been calling asking us to take this off. That is the only reason they called not to ask about our car.I'm sorry I'm saying my opinion and people need to know so they don't end up in the same situation.I recommend that you go somewhere else to buy a car.Everyone we have talked to all say the same thing has happened with them, they always beat around the bush. I called yesterday because there is something going on with our ball joints we believe (not wanting to drive, becauseWe don't want to wind up hitting someone or hurting someone). I told the gentlemen Bruno about our issue his response " we can't fix the car over the phone" this is not helpful response this was a smart remake that was not appropriate.

I recently bought a 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid from Ed May at Briarwood Ford and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. I live in Lake Orion, MI which is quite a drive from Briarwood, but Ed insisted that the drive would be worth the service that I would receive. He did not disappoint. I had previously had a dealing with another dealership that was less than desirable and came in with low expectations. Fortunately, Ed was extremely reliable and took great care of me. I called the evening prior to coming down and told Ed what I wanted, he set the car aside for me and I came down and made the seamless purchase first thing the next morning. After we returned from a test drive of the car, Ed (NOT ME!!!) noticed a nail in the rear tire of the car. He immediately had the service department take the car back and put a brand new tire on. I was extremely impressed with his honesty, communication, and customer service. Without a doubt I would recommend Ed and Briarwood Ford to anyone in the state of Michigan. I have hundreds of dealerships around my home, but if I were to purchase another vehicle, I will be driving down to Saline to visit Ed and Briarwood.

I needed to replace my 10 y/o Jeep Liberty, hopefully with something more fuel efficient. My daughter suggested looking at the Ford C-MAX. Although I was prepared NOT to like it, I respected her opinion and stopped at another dealer (closer to my office) first. I drove the C-MAX first and was pleasantly surprised. I drove a 2013 Escape, and was equally surprised..... I liked the C-MAX better! There were several features from my Jeep that I wanted to carry over to my new vehicle.....one was heated leather seats. The sales representative at the other dealership said the C-MAX was not available in leather yet. We left, had lunch, and then went to Briarwood Ford in Saline. While we were looking in the lot, Mark Garcia came out and introduced himself, and, upon learning my requirements, immediately took me to see a C-MAX with heated leather seats! We drove it and both my husband and myself were sold. The handling, interior, technology, and ride, were all superior. After searching with Mark online to find the color/amenities I wanted, we decided to special order one, which could take 6 weeks or more. From the point of order to picking up my new C-MAX last night my experience with Briarwood Ford in general, and Mark Garcia in particular was excellent. Mark gave me his direct line, cell phone, and email and encouraged me to call/email with any questions. And I did...probably more than he expected....but he graciously took each call, responded to each email and answered all my questions. Financing was arranged with ease and Mark took special care to make sure I understood the basic working of the new technology in the C-MAX before I left the lot last night. I'm confident that Mark will be there if/when I have more questions in the future. I couldn't be more pleased with the car, my experience with the dealership, and Mark. I will happily recommend Briarwood and Mark to friends and family.

If you're a 20-something like me, you may have had some trouble trying to purchase a car from an Ann Arbor dealership. I looked around at reviews online and saw that Briarwood had a good reputation - it's deserved. I recently purchased a 2013 Ford Focus hatchback (manual transmission) from there, working with Mark Garcia - I can't be more pleased about the experience! Mark started working on my online inquiry before he ever got me on the phone - he worked quickly to find the car that I wanted, and got it delivered, and got all my financing worked out ahead of time so that on the day of purchase, it went smoothly (the financing person did try to sell me on the extended warranty, though). Mark even mailed back a CD I'd forgotten in my trade-in.

When I was looking for a 2013 Ford Escape, I contacted several dealers. I sent in a very specific list including all the features I needed. Since I was asking for a 2.0 L AWD Escape, other dealers all tried to sell me a model with towing package. And the buying experience is very smooth. No extra hassle, just simply walk in with all the document, get the loan and pay the down payment. Ed knows his job, which means, he knows the cars he is selling. If you are not sure about what model you want to get, he can give very specific suggestions. If you know exactly what you want to get, he respects your choice and will help you find that vehicle without trying to throw in extra features you do not need. That is why I give Briarwood Ford and Ed the highest rating.

However, I was disappointed when I received a car that already has over 260 miles on it. He was not clear explaining why the brand new car has so high miles. If I already did not sign every documents I would not have accepted this car.

Went in with an idea of what I wanted with a trade-in vehicle. They gave me about the KBB trade-in value without any hassle. Even though I had an idea of what I wanted, David presented several other options and then additional features of each. He presented each one and their packages in a friendly manner and asked what did I want exactly from a new car. After discussing options and packages and taking away extra ones, and adding others, we finally got one all ordered. He kept me informed of the status from ordering, to production, to delivery. He helped with everything. From lining up the paperwork, insurance, all the way until the final details were ready to go. David was extremely helpful in every step along the way and helped answer any and all questions I threw at him.

Mark listened to what I really needed to make this vehicle work for me. I needed the back seats to lay flat and wanted a way for the front drivers seat to adjust up or down for me. I also wanted a moonroof since I had a pop up one in my escort so before I said I would like a moonroof, he said "I see you have a pop up roof in your escort. You probably would like one in this one also." He was not pushing to get me to have more then what I needed in a car. I appreciated that very much! He is very friendly and said to get a hold of him anytime we needed help or had a question about anything.Diane

Many years ago I approached the Parts & Service folks at Briarwood Ford seeking advice on how to fix my car since I usually perform many of my own repairs. Whereas most dealerships wouldn't give me any help over the phone, Briarwood was more than willing to put me in touch with their technical staff and talk me through my questions. I have never forgotten that help so many years ago and I made up my mind when I was ready to purchase a newer Ford product I would be sure to visit Briarwood. Chris Brown was the Sales Consultant I worked with just this week and he was able to put me behind the wheel of a slightly used 2010 Fusion Hybrid for what I felt was a reasonable price. He was courteous and helpful and I was happy to make the purchase from him.

I purchased a new F150 from a different dealer. David gave me 30 min. of personalized training on my SYNC Sytem. By personal ,I do mean in my truck in the parking lot, with my phone and IPod, pushing all of the buttons and speaking the voice commands! He is very knowlegeable about all of the features. He reviewed my entire system and brough me up to speed on all of the amazing features of the Ford Sync System. One benefit to visiting Briarwood Ford and buying from David would be the value that his knowledge brings. I've purchased plenty of cars from guys who don't the the difference between a V8 and a lawnmower engine, trust me, David does. Good Luck.

Andrea is a great, wonderul service advisor for me! My husband has dementia so it is entirely up to me to keep our car in great shape. She has been so kind and considerate with me I totally trust her advise and hope there are many like her helping people who need advise on car service etc I know my knowledge of cars is zero and now with my husband not really able to keep a check on the car I NEED HER!!!When Clinto-Tecumseh Ford closed I chose Briarwood Ford and am so glad I did and have an advisor like Andrea. Just a great experience. Timely, friendly, professional service at a reasonable rate. That's hard to find today! I made the appointment online (which is an excellent option), dropped the car off at the specified time (which only took a few minutes), received a phone call when the car was done (earlier than expected), and picked the car up! That's it!

I had been having trouble with my 2003 Ford Expedition,it seemed every time it rained it would start acting up. After replacing several coil packs, the alternator twice, the processor, our local mechanic said take it to Briarwood so I did and it was the best thing I did. Andrea took the time to communicate, actually to just listen to me. To listen to what had been happening with the car which she then took to the mechanic and as soon as he heard one of the things we discussed of many he was able to zero in on what the problem was and diagnose it correctly finally!!! and fix it. Maybe I needed all of the coil packs and the 2 alternators and the processor but maybe I didn't, next time I'll know for sure because you can bet I'll be calling Andrea at Briarwood Ford when I need service. As a female it is nice to be able to go into a dealership for service and not be "talked down to" as happens so many times in other places. Good job Andrea and Briarwood Ford.Thank YouDebi Batey

Tom took a lot of time with us. We contacted him in October of 2010 and just could make the payments works because of too much owed on the car we were trying to trade in. We stopped by this weekend (5/7/11) and we worked through several different options and came up with the purchase of a beautiful 2011 Mustang.Thank you Tom.

My car wouldn't start, I called Briarwood Ford at 9am had the car in at 10. They had a new starter on hand and the car was fixed by 1:30. I have been having my car serviced by Briarwood Ford for about 10-11 years and yet again great service, thank you Andrea.

I have serviced my 2000 windstar at Briarwood Ford since 2000 & I have always used Andrea Kanerva as my service contact/write up person. She has always provided me with the appropriate information that allows me to make good decisions in regard to my v ehicle. Andrea is honest & a pleasure to work with when I need maintenance. She is the attraction for me at Briarwood Ford Service department!!

By far... THE WORST experience with a service department that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. i would never, ever even think about using them or recommending them to anyone. They not only ruined my car the first time they claimed to fix it, they made it worse and more expensive to repair and then when all was said and done, the overall damage that was done to my vehicle was beyond comprehension. DO NOT EVER USE Briarwood Ford Service!
