I was in a car accident last summer up north approximately 250 miles from my home & there was substantial damage to my 2016 Escape. After dealing with police & insurance company over the accident my car was finally towed to Brighton Ford. I had to have it towed as close to my home as possible due to insurance reasons and expensive tow bills. Brighton Ford was still an hour from my house & I wasn't too happy since if I had questions on the work I would have to drive there . Well after two weeks they had my car completed and the work was outstanding. Almost a year has past and I noticed my rear door the side the accident was on never locked, never noticed it since I never use that door and the door hinge dropped. I called and explained the situation to them and Jerry the body shop manager was very nice & helpful. He told me they would do whatever it took to make it right. I explained to him that i needed my car to get to & from work & asked if he had a loaner while the work was being done. He said he did not but could send someone to my job at the time I needed , do the work, and have the car returned to me before my shift was over. To be honest I didn't think that would happen! At 9am the gentlemen showed up took my car, repaired both doors and had it back to me by 2pm. ALL IN THE SAME DAY!! I highly recommend Brighton Ford and when I'm ready for a new car or truck I will definitely be visiting their showroom! Great job to all who helped make this horrible accident turn into a positive outcome.

Hands down the best experience we could have asked for. After 10 years in my old car it was finally time to start looking for something newer. We moved here from Florida and quickly realized that we needed a AWD car for the winter. After hours of searching and reading reviews we decided Brighton Ford was our best bet. AUSTIN WAS AMAZING!!! We were in and out in a little over an hour and Austin was extremely communicative throughout. If you value your time and appreciate being treated with respect, give Austin and the entire Brighton Ford team a call. Other dealerships need to take notes.

I didn’t have an appointment and showed up unannounced for an oil change. They were professional, didn’t shame me for not having an appointment except to say that they will get it done ASAP - even though their bay was full. 40 minutes later was was on the road!! Excellent customer service. Should be the gold standard for Ford dealerships.

Dee the service check in lady as absolutely amazing as well as the lady in the service department check out!!! They took such good care of me and much much quicker than estimated. I am always happy to come in to Brighton Ford for service and have had Dee check me in previously and she was as nice this time as last! Very level attitude and doesn’t seem to falter on giving customers a great experience. The check out service lady I believe her name is Julie was as pleasant to encounter as check in!! They are the reason I will be back hands down no questions asked!!

It has been years since I have returned to Brighton Ford after what felt like non transparent sales. After a couple quick and successful oil changes, I would say this is their best service. Any other service beyond this, literally makes e feel sick and as though I have been taken advantage of by the company. I would not recommend any service procedures done here. I took my car in for an oil change, the works package. Was told things look great. Within 3 months, I began having trouble. First the breaks which I understand. The cost outrageous and pricey. Their reason is they can't get the other brand, the ones they advertise for less with their coupons. I think there is a term for this, Bait and Switch. Still returned thinking this was fluke, nope second return only 2 weeks after brakes were done, And another problem with the car. Guessing I am unlucky and coincidence. This time the water pump, with price tag of $2300. No thank you Brighton Ford!

Just purchased a 2016 F150, contacted dealership through internet department, called them, set up time to look at truck, they immediately pawned me off to a floor salesman which was an excellent guy, decided to purchase truck and it went downhill from there.. got deal finalized and filled out all paperwork and it comes back with my ex-wifes address???? They got it fixed after explaining that it is not my address, then go to Rudy in Finance department, he will not be HONEST with you, tells me I can go with Compass Bank because they have the best rates and pushes an extended warranty on me and then I refuse because of higher payment, then magically he lowers the interest rate???, OK, dont think much of it but seems kind of strange, deal is done until the next day when I contact my credit union, Elevations Credit Union and there rate is lower, come to find out the dealer gets a better "kick back" from different lenders and send you to the ones they choose. My credit union and my wife contact the dealer the next morningand tell them we have decided to use Elevations and Rudy states" When will they have a check for the truck" when my lender is set up with the dealership and 5 minutes later he has all of the paperwork emailed to him and won't return phone calls all day from lender, they contact me and tell me the issues they are having,it takes me 6 repeated phone calls to receptionist and demanding that I talk to Management or anyone ALIVE to finally get through and then they finally send it back to my lender. If you want DIS-HONEST and a dealer that puts customers SECOND Brighton Ford is the place to go.

Made an appointment over a week ago to have my truck looked at for a problem. Dropped the vehicle off at 7 am and called to get a status at 12:39. Had to leave a message but did not receive a return call so called a second time one hour later. During that call I was told that my vehicle was the next to be looked at. This was 7 hours after dropping off the vehicle. No explanation was offered. Since my vehicle had not receive any attention despite the early drop off time then any repairs needed would also have not been given a priority or proper attention during the repair process. Told the person I was talking to that I would be coming to pick up my truck. When I arrived I was again not give an explanation other than the service representative telling me that he was sorry they could not get to my vehicle.

They had lowered their online price on the 2010 Tundra trade-in. Long story short... I told them about my credit challenge. They said it shouldn't be a problem, and it wasn't. In addition and as important, I found the salesman (Nathaniel) I was working with friendly, honest and not in any hurry to push me in any direction. I asked him his opinion regarding the Tundra vs a Ford pickup. I was pretty knowledgeable regarding the Tundra and he was very knowledgeable about the Ford F150 and it's latest makeover. So I asked him to show me some of the later model F150s. I test drove a couple of them and found them to be very comparable to the Tundra and then some. He immediately discounted the price of the F150s that I test drove, without a second thought and before I even thought to ask for it. They also gave me a great price for my trade-in to make the deal work. It was as if they were going to make it work for me...no matter what...and they did! THANK YOU!!

Came in late on a Friday night, knew exactly which truck I wanted. I was lucky to get Artru as my sales person as he was awesome. After a test drive was I was ready to buy. Price on truck was good, they gave me very fair value on my trade in and I was out of there with the new to me truck at about closing time.Great sales service and great financing service from Rudy. I would recommend them to others.

Tried to get oil changed twice. Both times it took over 2 hours. No explanation. Had to bring car back last time due to check engine light coming on. Turns out, young rookie oil changer didn't put the filter in completely. Then they get a porter to put on a new rear wiper blade, he breaks it, and fixes it with a zip tie. Don't worry they say, no charge. Gee thanks. Scott Berry service manager, says he will call back, yeah the next day.

Do not buy a car from this dealership. Bought a 2016 Fusion there. Aftermarket sunroof vendor caused electrical problems and they sat on their hands. Most despicable and disrespectful staff top to bottom of any in history. Booooh.

Went in to lease a f150 on Thursday at 5:00 pm after 3 1/2 hrs finally left all aproved and ALL the paperwork signed. Talked to the financing manager and salesman and both guaranteed me I would be leaving in my new truck that evening . I did just that.5 das later brighton ford called me and said I had to return the truck cause the finance company wouldn't finance me now.What the xxxx kind of dealer ship tells a customer they are all good to go and they meet all the requirements for the lease, including the down payment credit score ( also I'm a Ford z plan qualified ) and let's them take the truck home and 5 days later tells them you need to bring the truck back because the finance company won't approve you.

Brought in commercial vehicle on Monday at 3pm for scheduled service and some minor repairs. As of 4pm Tuesday they had not even started the service, and didn't even bother to call me. Service center closes at 6, sat there at 530 waiting for them to put old oil back in so I could use my truck the next day for work. FYI, they knew ahead of time I needed this truck for work. So now I have to take another day off work costing me money because they can't even do a simple oil change in 26 hours period. Worst service experience ever.

I had a pleasant car buying experience here, however, after less than 2 months of owning my 2015 Ford Escape, a high pitched and very annoying wind noise started from the passenger side of the windshield. After reading about others who have experienced this with Fords, I brought the car into the service department to be looked at. I was basically told that since they couldn't reproduce the sound (even though I brought in a video clip of the car making the sound), there was nothing they could do other than call the "Ford Hot Line". I've waited for over a month with no feedback. When I called back frustrated after listening to the sound for over 4 hours on a drive back from Illinois, David in the service department accused me of arguing with him and was very confrontational. I am the customer, I purchased a defective vehicle, and yet I am not allowed to voice my frustration without being accused of "arguing"? Very poor customer service in my opinion. I am taking my vehicle to another dealership to be looked at. Beware if you purchase a car here and need to bring it in for service.

She was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in and it was very easy to make a deal with her. Actually I would give them a zero. Been going to that dealership for years. Never again. I bought a certified used Ford Fusion from them. I didn't realize the dealer had acquired the car from Canada for thousands less then if they had acquired the same car in the US. Is it legal? Sure. Is it ethical? No. It isn't like they haven't made enough money off of my family already.

We recently bought a truck from the pre-owned lot at Brighton Ford. It was overall the best car buying experience we've had to date. We had the pleasure of doing business with Troy Hill, whom was extremely professional and accommodating. We test drove two cars before making a final decision. Troy pulled each car up for us, which was a nice gesture considering many salesman just hand you the keys. Also, not feeling pressured to buy anything was refreshing.. The little things really made Troy and his team stand out amongst other dealerships we've been to. Thank you, Brighton Ford, for the excellent services you provided to us. We will be back when we're in search for our next vechile, meanwhile loving the new truck!

My husband and I went on Saturday January 9th, at 9 am, to buy a used Saturn Vue from Jerry Niskar. We had previously agreed to trade in our 99 Silverado. Jerry had even arranged for the service department to remove our slide in camper and put it on a trailer I had delivered from SLM Trailer in Whitmore Lake.Jerry undervalued our Silverado by $2,000 and refused to budge on the price of the Saturn Vue. The "deal" he offered us was WAY over our budget. Furthermore, he took TWO hours to jerk us around, when we were clear from the start that my husband had to be at work by noon.We decided to walk away from the Saturn Vue. But since our Silverado, camper, and trailer were already there, we told Jerry we still wanted the service department to put the camper on the trailer, and just fix the brakes on our truck so we could resume driving it. No sale, but hey, we still want to spend money here.Jerry continued to talk down to me. I actually left in tears. My husband drove us home. On the way home, Jerry called me. I hung up on him. He called again! Even my husband had to tell him "Sir, I do not need you to yell at me." I blocked his number and turned my phone off.Sunday, dealership was closed.Monday morning, my husband returns to the service department to see about the camper, trailer, and repairs to the truck. The service department was polite, until Rex got a call in the hallway, and suddenly told my husband "We cannot service your vehicle. Your vehicle and trailer need to be gone as soon as possible."WHAT?My husband and I spent hours of Monday coordinating a tow truck from Farmington Hills to pick up the truck, camper and trailer and take them to General RV in Wixom. At 5 pm, General RV called to tell me my truck and camper had arrived. What about the trailer? I called Hadley, the tow company, who told me when the driver got to Brighton Ford, Brighton Ford claimed there was no trailer, had never heard of a trailer, had no idea what the tow driver was talking about.So I had Hadley call SLM Trailer in Whitmore Lake, where I just bought the trailer on Friday. By 6:30, somehow, magically, Ford had "found" the trailer. Hadley picked it up and delivered it to General RV.I have never been so disgusted with the treatment at any sales establishment in my life. For $5 at Starbucks, they'll treat you like the Queen of England. Even after we realized we couldn't buy the used Saturn Vue, we still tried to give Brighton Ford our money to fix our truck, AND THEY REFUSED.0 stars, 0 points. Do not go here ever.

My 2015 Mustang gt broke down on the highway 4.5 weeks ago. I had it towed to Brighton Ford. 3weeks and several complaints to Ford motor company. My car got looked at. While I complained service tech Dean said if I want happy take my car else where. I explained that I was frustrated that almost 3weeks had pay and my car had not been looked at. He said if I had an appointment it would have. I replied I didn't plan on my 2015 mustang breakingdown. They end up finding a faulty clutch. He donkey carrots me around to the next week and then Friday just like the previous weeks. I finely get my car... I get in and immediately know something feels wrong. They say nope its good. I drive home and 3rd grinds I pull over and call Dean. He said let me check the schedule and I'll call you back and see when I can fit you in. He schedules me for an appointment 10 days later. He asked me to come in early so they can get my car right in. I drop my car off the day before my appointment first in line. The next day at 1:30 I get a call Dean says our guy is going to get to your car hopefully tomorrow. I topped the 2nd for my appointment on the 3rd. They might get to it on the fourth. I'm currently waiting on the service manager Troy. Who was very professional and polite unlike Dean. Who shows no concern for customers. He not rude verbally. He just doesn't care. Now, I wait for my turn to be assisted. I guess my appointment wasn't really important. Well either will my business. I have 5sons. I will not be purchasing or leasing their cars from my city dealership Brighton Ford. It's a shame I will have to travel elsewhere to be taken care of. Unresolved 11/03/2015. I raised my service 1 star due to Service Manager (Troy) following up on my concerns. Troy called me back with accurate information and is keeping me in the loop of my vehicles progress. Follow up is very important to me and I feel a little more comfortable that my concerns are being addressed 11/04/2015. Just received a call from Dean giving me some updated information on my car. A new transmission will be shipped out by Ford and should arrive Monday or Tuesday which means I should get my car back by Wednesday. Today is 11/05/2015 I appreciate Dean contacting me. I feel as if they are trying to do better. My next post will be when I receive my vehicle at this time I will post results. 11/12/2015 final update I picked up my 2015 Mustang today after work. I was ignored while I stopped in front of Deans desk. Then after a few minutes he acknowledged me with hello how can I help you. As if he didn't know me. Simply I am here to pick up my car. He got the paper work read the description and said the car will be outside. He then walked away. I signed with the cashier and made my way outside to a filthy car that no longer smelled new it smelled like grease. Oh well filthy car and stinky I said to myself what did you expect. Then I looked at my gas gauge 16 miles left from over half a tank... I took the high road because I did not have the patients to reenter this poor business. I hope the work holds up. I will never come to this dealership nor my children nor my family. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Kind of crazy but after this review was released my car sat until the next week untouched. (Wednesday turned to Thursday to Friday maybe Monday were working on it tomorrow. We just got your car on the lift Wed. We should have it done Thursday). I took away the star I gave for Troy he is the Service manager and his people are a direct reflection of him.

This review is for the collision center! A little back story before I get to Brighton Ford. I'm almost 8 months pregnant and my husband and I decided to move to Brighton from Phoenix, AZ. He grew up in the area, so we knew it's a great place to raise a family. Along the way, we stopped in Amarillo, TX, and St. Louis, MO to sleep. While in St. Louis sleeping, my 2014 Ford Explorer was broken into and vandalized. What luck, right? We called Brighton Ford Collision Center from St. Louis and they told us they would be ready for it when we got into town. We dropped it off first thing the morning after we got there, and Brian Wasdyke was there ready to go. Enterprise picked us up and got us in a rental in no time, and the collision center was so good about keeping us updated with the status of the vehicle. While the vehicle was in the shop, we had quite a few more speed bumps, such as a bladder tank burst, a flooded bathroom, and our moving truck going to Chicago instead of here for no apparent reason. When it rains, it pours! The morning I went to pick up my Explorer, Brian was there again waiting with keys for me. Walking into an establishment to see smiling faces and people excited about being there, makes a HUGE difference in the way customers are treated. Getting into a clean and detailed car was such a wonderful surprise. In Phoenix, dealerships aren't exactly known for their customer service, but Brighton Ford has that quality in the bag. Brian was a phenomenal contact to have if I had any questions.My husband and I will NEVER take our vehicles anywhere except Brighton Ford. Thank you for being the one consistently awesome thing in my week of terror!!

This is the most unprofessional group of service writers and management I have ever had the dis-privilege to deal with. I had recall work to be done on a vehicle, I got my e-mail confirming the type of work to be done, the date the work was scheduled to be done, and a cheerful "we look forward to seeing you" note from the department of service manager Troy Willis. So the day before the service appointment I contacted the parts department to confirm the parts would be ready for the recall work as scheduled. Then I talked directly to the service writer assigned to my service Cody Collins. I was assured that everything was ready to go and all would be taken care of. Day of service: The vehicle is taken to the dealership and we are told that there is no record of a service reservation, the parts are not there and Cody Collins is no were to be found. This is the second time I have had to deal with Mr. Collins and believe me if you get his as a service writer you will want to request someone else! Never again will we do business with these people. This was not our first service problem here , there are 2 more instances of poor after sale service that I do not have the time to go into detail about. Save yourself the headache and find a better Ford dealership to buy your vehicle from that has an outstanding service department, Brighton Ford in Brighton MI is not that place. I gave them 1 star because the sight wouldn't allow me to rate them zero stars

Took car in for recall work . Adam Brown told me it would talk a couple of hours and that they would call. (He was not there on friday ) He was right it took a few hours to do . It was done at 11:33 am I called and got answer machine. I emailed and got a xxxxx named Colleen she told me they would call. Finally I went down at 430 pm to the dealership and asked for my car . Then I was told to go into another room told the young lady who I was I asked her why didn't she call me when my Escape was ready and she said " Its not my job to call" I was thinking of buying a new Escape at brighton ford, I will go some where else. 7 months after purchasing a used car from Brighton Ford I decided I wanted something different. I offered my business back to them, this time for a BRAND NEW car, but they could not sell me a 2016 Ford Fusion Energi because they were not an EV (Electric Vehicle) dealer. So I had to purchase my new car from a different dealer. -no big deal- Until I went to cancel my extended service contract on the used car that I had bought from Brighton Ford. They refused to cancel or give any refund (even a pro-rated refund!) I WASTED $2,200 for that extended service contract and never used it once in 7 months. Warning to all, they will push the extended service contract on you hard and they will not cancel it if you sell or trade the car in. They could care less. I will NEVER buy a vehicle from here again and will tell all about this misfortune. I would like to note that Arturo was friendly, but the finance department is where my frustration lies.......

I am compelled to write a review of Troy Hill at Brighton Ford. My wife and I came in late on a Saturday to look at a car. We were so blown away by him that we knew there was no reason to shop anywhere else.Oddly enough, we had a car buying experience there a few years earlier (with a salesman that is no longer with them) that has been my example of the epitome of the stereotypical rude, condescending car salesman. It was so God awful I swore I would never go back. Fast forward a few years and it just so happened that they were open later than the other Ford dealer in town so my wife and I thought we'd just look around and then go talk to the other dealer later in the week.Man were we wrong. Troy was so nice and so accommodating that we knew we had found the Consultant we wanted to work with.He was honest and worked for us. That is all I ever want in a buying experience. He was amazing. We got a car my wife can't stop raving about (2014 Edge) and we walked away with a level of trust that is priceless.When all was said and done, I stopped back in to tell Troy that my job is a trainer in the automotive marketplace in sales and customer service, and he is going to be the example I use going forward.Thank Troy Hill for your amazing service and the outstanding job you did. Your efforts and character were noted and appreciated by my wife and I. We've already given your name and recommendation to multiple neighbors. I had a warning light come on and brought my 2009 F250 to a location I purchased an extended warranty. to see why the service engine light came on as the operators manual suggest. I also had a heat tank element that needed to be changed that was faulty. The parts cost was between $75-$80 to replace the tank heater element. The reason I was given the service engine light came on was the computer needed to be programed. I setup an appointment to bring in the vehicle on 3-25-15 at 8:00 AM I got the vehicle back on 3-27-15 around 8:30 AM. The total labor cost was over $500 to fix a recall issue. I feel that the labor cost is excessively high, possibly from an inexperienced repair technician or an excessive labor rate. When I got the vehicle back the outside temperature gauge isn't working making me concerned that during the programing of the computer cause this issue and I'm debating if I want the same technician solve the temperature gauge issue. As well as how many repair hour it will take.

I purchased a 72mon/125k mile extended warranty for a used vehicle in 2011. My signed contract says it expires is 9/2017 however Brighton Ford says it doesn't matter what my signed contract says, they say their records are correct and wouldn't honor the extended warranty.

They're awfully nice and accommodating until they get you to sign. Once you've signed they're much less than helpful. Bought a used vehicle, the salesman assured me they had the best mechanics check out their used vehicles before they put them on the lot. The vehicle I purchased had a couple problems i noticed off the bat that they promised to fix for me. Days after buying the car I took it back to them for the work they promised to fix (clunking sound in tire, rear park assist maintenance needed, steering wheel was shaky), they had it for two weeks! Never called me for an update, the salesman nor the manager would ever call me back. Got my vehicle back two weeks later, nothing was fixed but they put new tires on it for me....OK? That wasn't even an issue, oh and I filled the vehicle up with gas on my way to drop it off to them I gave it to them and received it back with about quarter tank hmmm...took it to another dealership because I purchased the Ford extended warranty plan. They came up with over $5,000 in repairs, I've only had this vehicle three months at this point. Not only that but extended warranty wouldn't even cover my rear transfer case leaking because they spoke with the manager at Brighton Ford who told them this was a pre-existing issue....THEY NEVER MENTIONED THAT TO ME! And they still won't return my calls at Brighton Ford...shady shady company with shady people working their...specifically Manager George Haas...Horrible service, horrible management...once they get your signature you become just another number to them

The salesman played games when coming into the dealership with my own financing. The sought to get me to have them get origination financing (Kickback) with them. Claiming lower interest rate. The real reason is that the guaranteed loan I came with did not allow for inflated pricing and had to be Blue Book or NADA. The salesman tried to wrangle extra money above the $300 requirement from the loan company, to make up for the loan, and even "Demanded" I come up with a trade. The fraud part is that he had us there for 4 hours and telling us he was waiting to hear back for my loan company. When I got feed up I called them on my cell only to find he had never called them at all. I handed the phone to him and he said: "I.'I..'I'm sorry I though for sure the fiance manger had called them" really..what a crock. Bottom line they left a bad taste in my mouth and no more Ford dealers for me, just on principle

9/01/14 2015 Ford Explorer Sport - Don Spiker was great with us but not sure why he is no longer working at the store (2 days after sale)? Rudy was also good to work with on the finance side and explained things well. Down side: I left a message for Rudy on 9/3/4, also a message by e-mail with our sales rep, and tried to reach the service dept. No one responds to messages and the phone call to the service dept., someone hung up on me! I believe your office is very short staff and needs to communicate better with the public. I understand your building is going to get a remodel job? This would be great! The service dept., and rental areas needs to be more welcoming/classier. The sales area is crowded with tables/chairs and I HATED this area the most. It's way to easy to over hear other peoples personal business.

After an absolutely horrible experience at O'Meara Ford, my wife contacted Nathan Medina with Brighton Ford. I spoke with Nathan and he promised me that our experience at Brighton Ford would be much better. With reservations, we went to meet Nathan and take a look at the 2015 Explorer Sport.From the moment we sat down with Nathan I could tell he was a VERY down to earth guy. He was very well spoken and relaxed....and that rubbed off on my wife and I quickly. We were able to put immediate faith into what he was telling us and all I could think was, "he was right. This is going to be a much better experience".Now enter Josh Meade, the General Manager of Brighton Ford. He introduced himself and sat down for a moment. Again, no cliche fast talk. Just a very level headed conversation and merely a promise that he would do the best he could do on our trade in. By this time I was in disbelief that a car transaction could be this comfortable. No confiscating your keys or taking your credit card to hold you hostage.While they crunched some numbers we sat and spoke for a while longer with Nate and he further affirmed they were going to do the best they could do. He went on to tell me he had worked for the dealership for 11 years which is an astonishing feat in that business. People!! This alone should tell you something!Enter again Josh Meade. I braced myself for the bad news and I was pleasantly surprised. They offered what I had hoped for on our trade and made the numbers work for us on the new vehicle. At this point in the process my mind had been blown and I am thinking of who I know that I need to send to this Ford dealership. I am in Real Estate and I will be putting these guys on my referral web page.So back to the story.....In my moment of elation about my trade I decided I was in the market for a new car as well...yep, right then and there I said "I want to buy a car from these guys". I again went over what I needed out of my trade and once again, Nate and Josh made it work! We were now the proud new owners of TWO automobiles from Brighton Ford.While their team was putting the final shine on our new cars I had the pleasure of working with both Mark Winters and Frank Malpica in their finance department. Folks, the fantastic experience didn't stop there. The usual dreaded signing process was very efficient and, dare I say, enjoyable. I was not strong armed into warranties, rather I was simply advised and was allowed to make my own decision. Mark and Frank were both an absolute joy to sit down and speak with as we signed our paperwork.As I finished up I had the pleasure of meeting Josh's wife and her father....likely the wizards of this well refined process. I said that in jest to a degree because I was to the point where I felt like I could joke around with Josh Meade. I honestly left the dealership feeling like I met people who truly cared about my experience and my pocketbook. I have an issue with the way my warranty issue was handled. I don't know if the problem is with Ford or with the dealership. My problem was with an EGT sensor that Ford has been having problems with. I was told the part was on national back order so my truck was shut down for 7 days while I waited for the part to be released. When I called the day the part was scheduled to be released and was told they hadn't been I asked for a rental truck so I could operate my business. I was told that because the vehicle was operable Ford would not cover it. I then wrote a lengthy email to the dealership as to why I didn't believe that was the case and asking if their response would be acceptable to them if they were the customer. Sadly, it took me writing that email for the dealership to produce a part from another dealership. My problem is more with Ford than the dealership and the point of my email was it is interesting how hard Ford works to get customers to buy their products but when there is a problem it is equally interesting how quickly Ford turns away from the customer. I operate a business with my Ford truck and have to rely on it being dependable and the manufacturer to be dependable when there is a problem. My vehicle was fixed quickly. My issues were that we didn't know the evening before that you could drop off the vehicle in a small section in front of the gates, so we had the vehicle towed to the parking lot right next door. I had to wait two hours for a two truck driver the next morning because it would be an $80 hook up fee for the dealership to move my vehicle over. It took almost two hours to talk to anyone in the service department before calling the tow truck driver. They were efficient in getting the vehicle fix and letting me know right away. Also, the cashier was very friendly when I had to call to pay for the repairs in case I wouldn't make it back into town in time and wanted someone else to pick it up. I called and left two messages asking if my car would be left accessible if I came after the service center/ cashier had closed and received no response back. I did go to the dealership when I got back into town and a nice man was able to find my paid receipt and have my car brought up. It would have been nice to have some response before and not show up at the dealership and hope my car would be available. The actual service itself seems to be good, the communication was horrible though.

I have purchased a couple vehicles from Brighton Ford and plan on continuing to purchase at Brighton Ford in the future. I like the dealership and the staff. The sales team is great. NO pressure whatsoever from any of the people I've dealt with. Always felt like I was treated fairly and that they were being honest with me. Even my wife (who absolutely detests car shopping and salesmen) was pleasantly surprised by our last experience there. She said it is the only dealership that she is comfortable visiting without me.The service department is my only area of concern. Not the cost or quality of work, but I have dropped off my vehicles for service or repair several times and the only issue is that only once have I ever received a call back to let me know what the cost will be or whether or not the work has been completed. There is a lack of communication in the service department that can be very frustrating when you rely on your vehicle as much as I do. All the work that has been done is good and the price fair and I've never really had an issue with that, but they could do a better job of calling to let me know what's going on with my vehicle. But I will still recommend this dealership to all my friends and family. I know my parents have also purchased at least 3 trucks from Brighton Ford and plan on purchasing there in the future.

Think maybe you could do some type of triage for walk in service. I only had a tire that needed fixed because of a leak and had to wait over an hour to get a 10 minute service. Just wondering if there would be any way to have quicker service without having to schedule appointment. Can't drive on a tire that keeps going flat but didn't know it had an issue until that morning and pretty sure would have been told you did not have an opening.

STOP AND READ THIS REVIEW. YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID. After an absolutely horrible experience at O'Meara Ford, my wife contacted Nathan Medina with Brighton Ford. I spoke with Nathan and he promised me that our experience at Brighton Ford would be much better. With reservations, we went to meet Nathan and take a look at the 2015 Explorer Sport. From the moment we sat down with Nathan I could tell he was a VERY down to earth guy. He was very well spoken and relaxed....and that rubbed off on my wife and I quickly. We were able to put immediate faith into what he was telling us and all I could think was, "he was right. This is going to be a much better experience". Now enter Josh Meade, the General Manager of Brighton Ford. He introduced himself and sat down for a moment. Again, no cliche fast talk. Just a very level headed conversation and merely a promise that he would do the best he could do on our trade in. By this time I was in disbelief that a car transaction could be this comfortable. No confiscating your keys or taking your credit card to hold you hostage. While they crunched some numbers we sat and spoke for a while longer with Nate and he further affirmed they were going to do the best they could do. He went on to tell me he had worked for the dealership for 11 years which is an astonishing feat in that business. People!! This alone should tell you something! Enter again Josh Meade. I braced myself for the bad news and I was pleasantly surprised. They offered what I had hoped for on our trade and made the numbers work for us on the new vehicle. At this point in the process my mind had been blown and I am thinking of who I know that I need to send to this Ford dealership. I am in Real Estate and I will be putting these guys on my referral web page. So back to the story.....In my moment of elation about my trade I decided I was in the market for a new car as well...yep, right then and there I said "I want to buy a car from these guys". I again went over what I needed out of my trade and once again, Nate and Josh made it work! We were now the proud new owners of TWO automobiles from Brighton Ford. While their team was putting the final shine on our new cars I had the pleasure of working with both Mark Winters and Frank Malpica in their finance department. Folks, the fantastic experience didn't stop there. The usual dreaded signing process was very efficient and, dare I say, enjoyable. I was not strong armed into warranties, rather I was simply advised and was allowed to make my own decision. Mark and Frank were both an absolute joy to sit down and speak with as we signed our paperwork. As I finished up I had the pleasure of meeting Josh's wife and her father....likely the wizards of this well refined process. I said that in jest to a degree because I was to the point where I felt like I could joke around with Josh Meade. I honestly left the dealership feeling like I met people who truly cared about my experience and my pocketbook. I was even invited to a company lunch event they are having in the near future and I WILL be there. So lets review...... O'Meara Ford - I was served a bad experience smothered in over priced gravy with a side of my car was worthless. Nathan Medina - Promised a good experience with Brighton Ford and was wrong....it was GREAT. Josh Mead - A facilitator that has an eye for an extremely talented staff. Heck of a guy! Mark Winters - An absolute pleasure to sit down with and has a talent for balancing small talk with business talk. Made the signing process almost seamless. Frank Malpica - Frank did the paperwork on my second car. Once again, a straight shooter who looks you in the eye while speaking. No pressure and he really knows his stuff about Fords! After spending 30 minutes writing this review, I really hope that others in the car market can benefit from my experience at Brighton Ford. BRAVO GUYS!!

The staff is always helpful here, except for this time. I brought my car in to get a shuttering problem looked at. I have heard some issues with the transmissions in my vehicle so I needed to get it looked at prior to my warranty going out. They took my car in, put it on a machine, and told mgr nothing was wrong after keeping my car for a day. I brought it back home, and received a letter from Ford the next week telling me in detail on the problems with my particular make and model. I will be bringing my car back to a Ford dealership to get my car taken care of, by I'm not sure I'll be bringing it back to the dealership in Brighton.

George told me they don't sell lemons and he was offended and proceeded to yell at me. Unprofessional, refuse to honer warrenty after you buy it, don't return phone calls. If there is something wrong that is covered under warrenty they will tell you they can't find anything wrong after having my car for a week!First and last ford I will ever buy...GM...all vehicles now recalled ...and everyone still screaming buy American. When the big 3 can produce a quality vehicle and treat customers with respect even AFTER the sale is done...maybe then they will see a turnaround. My experience at Brighton Ford was one of the best experiences I've had at a dealership/car lot. I thankfully owe that to Ryan Long, he is knowledgeable, friendly and a honest sales representative. He made sure my fiance and I were fully taken care of, we couldn't have asked for better customer service. While in the process of purchase Rudy the finance manager also conducted business in the same matter, he was very resourseful in making needs met. The Service Advisor that helped me was great. Summary: I have purchased over a dozen new cars in the past 15 years. These 2 new cars were the dirtiest new cars I've ever been given the keys to! Details: We bought 2 new cars within a month of each other from Brighton Ford. Our Salesman John Bradbury is great but Brighton Ford's service department is not so great. Our first car was delivered to us dirty in the interior. There was dirt ground into the pedals and a little in the carpet on the driver side. Worst of all it had dark dust and smears in the interior near the headliner. Like it sat with the windows open for too long and was never cleaned. John Bradbury made service clean it again though while we waited. Our second car was delivered dirty as well but this time much worse. Crumbs in the cup holder, scuff marks on the center console and again dirt ground into the floor driver side pedal area. There were even crumbs mashed between the panels in the center console! The windows were dirtier than my used car I traded! No joke. I don't know how a new car dealer can manage to get smudges all over the windows of a new vehicle. We also had a minor repair to an electric folding seat which required our new car to be brought in for service. The service department was not friendly. There was even a guy who sat at his desk and ignored me. When someone asked him to help me he said, "I'm outta here, I can't". Luckily a newer, younger kid came along and helped me. John Bradbury told me to tell Kelli about our experiences when she called. I did. I explained it fully to her. She told me a manager/owner would be contacting me to see what they can do. Nobody called. Brighton Ford will never see our business again. They will never see our vehicles again either. But I do hope they see this review and know the consumer will see this as well anywhere I can copy/paste it. P.S. I also have proof your service didn't clean my car well at all. I found something very valuable under the passenger seat a week or so later. I'm assuming it belongs to me since it came with the car.

I felt welcome arriving. There was someone standing at the door to say hello. I felt like the employees were all there to sell cars...there was no haggling or game-playing. I made an offer, it was accepted, and I drove off right in my new car. The people you have hired are so warm and considerate. I had to come back to give the title of my car to the dealership, and the car I bought was taken to be washed...and someone came with me to the car to sync my phone with the car. Whoever is in charge of hiring people should be commended on the hiring of lovely people.

On 03/21/14, I called Brighton Ford concerning a new 2013 Ford F-150. I spoke to Gene in sales. He gave me the best deal over the phone. We arrived later that evening. Gene was not there but informed Seth in sales of the commitments that he had made to me. Seth was polite and informative. Rudy in finance made some errors on the Ford Extended Service Plan. Other than the errors by Rudy, the transaction went smooth. On 03/24/14, Bob in customer relations called to checkup on my purchase experience. I advised him of two extremely minor issues. Later that day, Tim a sales manager called and advised that they will take care of these two extremely minor issues. I had to call the dealership a week later to remind them to honor their commitments concerning the two minor issues. It was taken care of the next day. We cancelled the Ford Extended Service Plan due to the errors. After the dealership received the refund, we called and received the run around from Rudy. After repeated phone calls, they finally issued the refund to the finance company. During our experience, we emailed Stacy the general manger a few times concerning the issues. We did not receive a call or email from her. My wife and I purchase a vehicle once a year on average. All together, this was not the best nor the worst buying experience we have had. If you want a good deal but do not care so much for customer service than this is the place to go.

I am a dissatisfied customer. I had work performed on my vehicle in the service department at Brighton Ford. I now have an issue with the car that wasn't even a problem when I brought the car in. I have taken the car back twice and the issue is still unresolved. I was told that the issue could cost between $200-300 for them to fix it, but again the problem didn't start until I got the vehicle back from them the first time. When I tried to voice my concerns to the service manager Rex about it. He was cold and not compassionate and barely made eye contact with me when I told him that I wasn't satisfied and I wouldn't be bringing my vehicle back. He acted like he didn't even care and he had better things to do. I was so upset I left his office in tears. I wish I would have never taken my vehicle to Brighton Ford Service Department. I now have to take my vehicle somewhere else to get fixed properly after spending $800. I would like to say that Troy, Lisa, and the cashier gave excellent customer service and I appreciate their efforts and hard work.

Todd Cowen...definitely a very good salesman! Knows about the vehicles he sells and also has a very broad and precise knowledge about the automobile business. He loves his job and conveys that sentiment to all.I try and switch vehicles approx every 2 or 3 yrs and I will look for very specific vehicles up to 250 miles from my house. I cannot comment on the new car or service teams, but my experience with the entire used vehicle team at Brighton Ford ranks right up there as one of the best I have had and Todd leads the way. Trade price on my old vehicle was very good, finance rate packages were very good, very low and available from multiple sources. So, if you know what you are looking for and you have a good credit rating and record, there is no reason not to go to Brighton Ford and contact Todd. Well worth the drive!

We were of course a little apprehensive when we arrived since our prior Ford experience at the other dealership was so terrible but we were greatly surprised. Matt Renko was our sales guru and he did an amazing job. We got exactly what we were looking for for a great price and he was exceptional every step of the way. He completely turned our Ford prospective around and we will for sure be purchasing another vehicle from him in the future and will continue to tell how great our service was for the purchase of our new Ford F-150. We have also had our first oil change done at their service center and the service in that department is a also exceptional. Nothing but good things to say about this dealership and it's staff! I have a Ford Edge which is my first Ford car that I have personally owned. I have owned a car for over 40 years. The dealership is clean, the people are friendly, and the waiting area has many amenities. As I enter the service area, I am immediately greeted and the service order is written up. In the waiting are, I have internet access and coffee available in comfortable surroundings. My only complaints are the cable doesn't carry any ESPN stations or the BIG network and sometimes service seems to take too long for the work done.

At Brighton Ford, it's all about their wonderful staff. At Brighton Ford, I have experienced some of the most helpful, friendly, and gracious salespersons of any dealership I have visited in the past. In fact, I bought my Ford based on the help and friendliness of the sales person who promptly met me when I entered the dealership and gave me his undivided attention until I made my decision. For me, its as much about my contact and relationship with my saleperson and with the dealership as it is about the car. I guess you could say I am picky about who I will be dealing with once I purchase my car. Brighton Ford has not disappointed. What impressed me initially was how well my salesperson knew the details of each and every car on the lot and how knowledgeable he was about the features of all the vehicles offered for sale. Once I bought my car he took a great deal of time going over all the mechanics and features of the vehicle I bought. He even took his time to help me set up and sinc my blue tooth phone to the system in my new car (I would never have figured it out on my own). Such individual attention is something I really appreciated and is what sets Brighton Ford apart from others.Additionally, the service center at Brighton Ford is impressive, and very accommodating. They are very courteous and explain everything in detail. All work was explained before anything was done to my car. I am always treated like a Queen when I go in for service, even if I am only there for an oil change. When pulling into the service area, I am always addressed without wait. The service waiting area is very clean and comfortable (and they make great coffee). There is comfortable seating with TVs and magazines to occupy you until your service is completed.If you are thinking about purchasing a new car, even if you have not considered a Ford, you should take the time to visit this dealership and check out what they have to offer -- you won't be disappointed.

Better than I thought it would be! I was very reluctant to use a "Quick Lube" outfit cause I've never really trusted the "quickie places". When Roger in the parts dept told me that I did not need to schedule an appointment and that those guys were part of the Ford line up for basic repairs such as oil change and tire issues, etc., I went over to talk to them and find out more details. After talking to Tyler Moran for a few minutes I was convinced to give them a try and let them take care of my oil and fuel filter change. I had not expected to have the work done that same day, but I was very well taken care of and kept on top of what all was going on. They even allowed me to bring my two small dogs in the waiting area with me (a definite plus). Then they even took me out to let me see a pin leak they had found, which is scheduled to be repaired this Thursday in the bigger service area of Ford. Tyler kept me entertained with conversation and his great personality. If my next experience is as pleasant as that one was, I will definitely be returning customer. I had exceptional experience and being taken care of at the dealership in Oklahoma where I bought my truck. So the standards are set pretty high right now, but so far so good. Big thanks to Tyler and his crew there. Look forward to seeing them again! :-)

The Brighton Ford Dealership.....Every time I want to have a quick maintenance service done, they get me in when I arrive...usually takes about an hour for regular oil change and tire rotatiI live in the Ann Arbor area and I am not so luck to have the same experience close to home.onI now take both my Ford Taurus and Ford Flex to Brighton for service. Staff is friendly and trustworthy.Once I had a problem after the dealership and my Flex stalled...they came right away to pick me up and take my flex back to the shop....I was glad no hassle and problem was addressed immediately.I would recommend to anyone that takes vehicles to dealerships for service.Prices are on average with Ford dealerships i have been to, but I always get in and out quickly, and I have not be made to feel like they were trying to sell me more than what the vehicle needed.If that changes, I will revise my review.

Servando Sanchez was a courteous and helpful salesperson without pressure. Moreover, Servando and sales manager worked with me on establishing a fair, top-offer price. Also, they had no problem letting my mechanic look over an As-Is Jeep before I deciding whether to purchased it. When I brought in the results from my mechanic, they offered to either fix a couple small issues or take money off to have my mechanic perform the immediate maintenance needs plus extra for possible future work. You all were willing to hold the vehicle for me from Wed to Fri, b/c I couldn't make it in until that time. The actual purchase was efficient: I test drove the truck, took care of financing, and was on the road within a couple of hours. I was very happy w/ that process.A ding against all of that relates to the service dept. Given the meticulous detail supposedly spent on the vehicle (which is in excellent condition), they missed three non-trivial items: a broken rear hatch lock, badly warped brake rotors, and out-of-balance tires. Honestly, I didn't test drive it enough to notice the rotors (braking harder and/or at higher speeds would have helped, but that's not part of my normal driving style), and I incorrectly assumed that something as obvious as a door lock would have been taken care of, given that they replaced license plate bracket screws (or something of that nature).

Called ahead and arranged to test drive a Taurus (x plan purchase) and get a trade in on my car. When I arrived salesman was suprised that I wanted a trade value. Stated "we don't like to do that unless you commit to a purchase." Spent far too much time trying to get him to give me a trade in price. I left. Sales manager (Tony) called me the next morning with his version of what he thought occurred the night before. Not sure what he was trying to prove. Just drove through the lot for a look. Dreaming of having a reliable ride since mine was on it's last legs and the worst of Michigan weather around the corner. Todd stopped and asked if I needed help. I told him yeah I was looking but bad credit and no money told me to look in the mirror and laugh, cause i knew I wasn't getting a new car. Todd said he'd been there for 30 years and if anyone could help me he could. I told him if he could work magic I was all in. Knowing this was going no where, but the nagging inside told me what the hell. A couple phone calls and a few days later he said I was approved and at a very descent interest rate to boot!! Man was I excited. Someone was actually gonna give me a second chance. Yes there is a God! A few days later he called again and said he'd found me a perfect ride. I went down to "talk and take another look." Here comes the big numbers I told myself. We tossed around numbers for a bit exchanged life stories went for a ride, exchanged more stories, and I drove off in my new used but very nice shiny car. Even filled up the gas tank for me. Gotta love that. My new Ford Escape is a beauty. The guys at Brighton Ford.....Priceless!! Merry Christmas to ME!

Jason as well as the finance manager were incredibly friendly and willing to answer all questions. They were both highly motivated to make the sale but never crossed over to making us feel pressured. Jason encouraged us to test drive each type of vehicle we were thinking about purchasing as he wanted us to be completely satisfied with the vehicle we chose. Finally, both Jason called us twice during the week after our purchase and the finance manger called us once that week. Both asked how things were with the new car and Jason made sure we were able to work the radio and other technical components of the car.We have already suggested to friends that if they are looking to lease or buy a vehicle that they go to Brighton Ford!

We live approximately 80 miles away from this dealership. We had been searching for a particular vehicle, and they had one listed on their web site. We called in the morning prior to driving up in the afternoon (in the rain and snow). We NEVER received a return phone call. Since we were desparate for a vehicle, we drove up that aftenoon to check it out. (It was still listed as available on the web site). After an almost 2 hour drive we arrived at the dealership. We could not locate the car on the lot. When going in the office we were informed, "Oh, we sent that car out to auction last week". We then told them a return phone call telling us would have been nice. At that point they wanted our name and were then ready to try to sell us a different vehicle!!!!This is a WARNING to anyone shopping on line. Watch out for this dealership. They bait you to get you there.We did find an excellent car at a different dealership, so happy ending for us, but no thanks to Brighton Ford.

Below is what I wrote for the dealer I tool to the car to that fix my issue where there dealesrhip could not. I am so mad I urchase this car from them now, BUT never fear I will never buy anything here again, parts, servcie work body work or cars. Oh did I mention I have 4 kids coming into age that will need cars and service work. Suck on it Brighton Ford.Issue with a 2012 focus that the dealer I bought it from had for over a week and never could find the problem. Took it here to Briarwood Ford and within 4 days had it all taken care of. Everything was under warranty and to date has had no issues at all. Great service work and over all great dealership. During the stay we walk around of course and everything was clean and employees where all very nice to wrok/talk with.

We went to dealership to look at the Ford Fusion. We had not planned on purchasing that evening, due to the fact it was late and we didn't have our A plan number, insurance in order, or down payment money available. However, we purchased and were able to drive the car away for our weekend trip. We were so pleased with the service we received when buying my new CMax that when we went back the next day my husband bought a new truck. We went in to take a few things from our Fiesta like the rear hatch privacy cover and rear head rest that was not in the car when we were there the day before. While there dropping these things off, JC, our salesman, asked how we were doing with the new CMax and if we had any questions he could help us with. My husband said sure, what do you have in a truck? Together they looked at the inventory on the lot and found the truck he wanted. A Ford F150 crew cab with a longer box (6 1/2 ft), and the all important tail gate step ladder. "This is the best thing since sliced bread" as my father would say! He has been shopping on line for trucks for the last year or so and has looked at all the different brands and he kept coming back to the Ford. We both felt this was the best made truck on the market. Thank you very much, Brighton Ford.

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon JUST looking, Mark came out to help us right away with a smile and a handshake. Took us out in a couple of different cars for test drives neither quite right told us about a car that had just been traded in cleaned it up had us come back the next day. Was not shown the cost of the vehicle and told by the sales rep. that finance guy would go over everything. The finance guy wanted me to sign the finance papers without showing me the final cost of the vehicle and said that the sales guy should have gone over it with me. Went back to the sales rep and requested to see a breakdown of the sale. He produced an itemized list that included $300 in additional charges for an item I did not request and did not want. He stated that he did think it was a big deal and thought I would want it. Sounded alot like "bait and switch" to me. Also, both the finance guy and the sales rep. tell you how to fill out the customer satisfaction survey that Ford sends out after the sale is completed. Both stressed the importance of marking the "Completely Satisfied" boxes. The finance guy even had a pre-filled out survey form to show us exactly which box we were to mark. Tacky.

These guys are the biggest bunch of liars and crooks you will ever meet in the car business. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this dealership. They don't stand behind their cars and their service department is not only completely inept, but completely dishonest. I don't expect them to be in business much longer under current management.I revised my review because they ultimately traded my lemon back in and gave me a reliable vehicle. They did not have to do this, but wanted to make sure I was satisfied with my experience. The sales manager, Dave Pogue stepped in and took care of me personally.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the Sales Manager, Steve. I don't think I have ever met a more rude individual. Not only did he call me stupid, but he belittled the salesman that I was originally working with. I felt so embarrassed for the salesman. I don't know how anyone works for this man. I ended up leaving and purchasing my Escape at Hines Park Ford. It wasn't the best experience, but at least I wasn't paying thousands of dollars to someone who thought I was an idiot.

They tried changing the price and length of lease 3 times after taking our truck, cancelling the insurance, wiping out all of our settings and telling us the original deal was done, took 5-6hours to get out of there. They just kept telling lie after lie and when we tried to walk out then they wanted to give us what what agreed upon the first time. Horrible, horrible experience.

I emailed a request on a Saturday morning and had a return email within an hour. I went to gather information and had no pressure to buy and got all my questions answered. On Monday I decided exactly what car I wanted and went back. They didn't have the car on the lot but found one on the west side of the state and had it there the next day. No hassles, no push to buy a car they had in stock, got exactly the car I wanted, and the paperwork/financing took less than 10% of the time it did 3 months ago when I bought a truck from a Chevy dealer.

He and his finance manager tried to run a scam by claiming that Wells Fargo had a "special" deal on the interest rate if I bought disability insurance. They tried to pull the bait and switch by giving me a choice between the lower rate with the insurance and a higher rate without. I took the lower interest rate and canceled the insurance within the 3 days after confirming with Wells Fargo that there is no such program. Spoke to the boss and he supported his people completely, saying he was sorry for the misunderstanding. STAY AWAY!

My husband and I purchased a Ford Flex 2 weekends ago. We went into the dealer expecting to just discuss options, prices, etc. They happened to have the exact one I wanted. We told the salesman that when we called Chrysler to discuss our lease end options on our mini-van, they suggested we ask Ford if they would want to buy the van instead of turning in the lease. The reasons were that we were over our miles (by about 8000 miles, yikes!) and were interested in getting the Ford Flex. So our salesman, Todd, says that they do that all the time. He said we could actually get the Flex that day and we told him that we knew we had to get the minivan cleaned out, detailed and new front tires. He said he would inspect it and let us know what needed to be done. He goes out there and comes back in and tells us that the ding in the front door needed to be fixed and 2 chips on the windshield needed repair and his body shop could do that, the front 2 tires needed to be replaced and that he would have his porters take care of the inside. He also said that we should keep one key to our minivan so that we can take it to go get some used tires put on the front or else we'll get charged. So, my husband goes out to clean out our stuff from the car and I'm inside with the salesman and another lady that goes over all the paperwork. They gave us an amount off the price for turning in a non-Ford lease along with some other rebates and employee pricing. So, we get everything signed and we drive our new car off the lot and left our mini-van there, with the understanding that we would come back and get tires put on the van and they would repair the ding and a couple of chips on the windshield (claim put into insurance for that). So, I found a place that had the used tires and I go up to the Ford Dealership to get the van. Well, it's not there. It's at some bodyshop getting the ding taken care of. It was supposed to be back to Ford 4 days ago per the salesman, Todd. At this time, the salesman handed me a check for the remaining 2 payments on the minivan and I asked him the process of getting it bought. This is where I start fuming. He tells me that they aren't buying it and that he told me while my husband was out cleaning the van out that they weren't buying it and that we had to turn it back into Chrysler. Well, I never ever heard him say that and my question to him was why did he inspect the van and why was he doing all these repairs on a van that he wanted us to return to another dealership? We had explained what we wanted and our reasons and neither one of us remembers him saying we had to take it back to Chrysler. His answer is that he was trying to be nice and he tells my husband that he couldn't buy the van because Chrysler wanted too much for it. So basically, he told us what we wanted to hear so he could close the deal that day. When my husband called the manager, Steve, he didn't believe us. He claims Todd was just trying to help us and that Todd says he made it perfectly clear to both my husband and me that he was not buying the van (story changed, because originally it was that he just told me while my husband was outside). We then wrote to the dealership owner, Scott and recieved no response. We have called Corporate and they are filing a complaint with the dealership owner, but I doubt anything will come of that since he never responded to us originally. We have filed a complaint with the BBB. We now owe over $2000 on this mini-van that we were told they would buy. Why would Todd inspect our van, tell us to clear out our van, have things fixed (off site, by the way...not using their own body shop), have us leave our van there, and ask us to get new tires within a week or so if they weren't going to keep the van? It doesn't add up! This place is just so dishonest and will cover eachother's behinds.

I know buying a used car isn't supposed to be a walk in the park, but this dealership makes it a nightmare. I went in very interested in a pre-owned SUV and was all ready to start negotiating with the dealer on the price (which was close to 20,000). Now I had done my research on trade-in value and what other cars have sold for and I had a price in mind which was obviously lower than the listing price. I wanted to come to a comfortable agreement by negotiating, which I have done with all my other cars I have purchased. You start low and come to an agreement somewhere in the middle, both sides are happy. This dealership didnt even give me a chance I told them my starting price of $17,000 and after having me sit there for about 30 minutes they came back and told me this wasnt the car for me and said they would off me three hundred less for the car. I was insulted by the off but even more that I wasnt even given a chance and they were basically kicking me out the door. Buying a car is a big purchase and a lot of money I dont want to be taken advantage of but I would assume that I would be treated with a little ounce of respect and decency! DO NOT go to Brighton Ford they are obviously not in the business of selling cars.

I purchased a 2010 Escape from here in July. I took it in a month or so ago because the dash board lights dim down to almost nothing while driving any distance with it. At that time they did a update on some software on the light system and called it good. They tell me that I am the first one that they have had to complain of this problem. So I feel pretty good about getting this problem taken care of and I am driving along and it starts happening again. I have also had a couple issues with the transmission. So I called in to set up an appointment to get the truck looked at and an oil change on it also. Now I am taking it in for the oil change, dimming of the lights in the dash and the transmission. I dropped it off on a Thursday morning at 8:00am the gentleman at the desk told me that I would hear something from him by no later than 5:00pm as the mechanic that worked on transmissions had another job ahead of me. I have 2 children that I transport back and forth to school and had a trip to make with them on Friday a total of 120 miles. So I told them I HAVE to have a vehicle by the end of the day. So the salesman that I went through...bless his heart....gave me a car to drive to get my boys to school but could not put alot of miles on it as it was not a loaner car. So I went back into the dealership on Friday morning to find out what was going on with my truck and they had the oil changed but tell me they found nothing wrong with the lights dimming. The transmission still had not been looked at. So they sign me up with a loaner car at this time and tell me that there would be NO charge to me other than gas. I then return home to find that there is a $50.00 security charge on the car from Enterprise Rental. I called back in to the ford dealership and the salesman was busy helping another customer...to this day I still have not received a call back from him...and the service gentleman was away from his desk. So I told them that I was heading back in to pick up my truck as I could not be without it for a whole weekend to sit out in the parking lot. They only have one mechanic that works on transmissions????? Nobody else could check it out and find out what the issue was???? And I have to pay to rent a car from some where else when I purchased the vehicle from them and it is under full warranty???? Then the gentleman that wrote the stuff up jabbered on about putting an insurance on the loaner so that it was covered...I have full coverage on my vehicle and should not have to pay for insurance for this one. I guess I was just very dissatisfied then when I called in to explain what the issue was it's like they really don't care....."what is it you would like me to do" Seriously??? I drive 20 miles one way to have them do the service on my vehicle when I have a ford dealer approx. 2 miles from my home and get that kind of treatment. If they were too busy to get my truck in why didn't they just schedule me for a different day when they could "fit" me in. I will be looking elsewhere. And I was going to take my son in to buy him a car soon I think NOT now!

I have several complains about my experience in Brighton Ford and Mercury dealership.1. I had a noise in front drive. They claimed that tire rods were bad and they fixed it, but the noise is still there.(covered by warranty)2. My check engine light was on. They said that my Michele's EGR and spark plugs were bad. Warranty did not cover that so i did not agree them to fix it. They charged me $96 for checking it out. I asked my own mechanic what takes to find that out and it takes just a simple computer scan, it takes couple minutes(Autozone would o it for free.)When i told it to Travis Siegal and asked him how long did it take to find this problem his answer was "it doesn't meter how long did it take 30 minutes, 45 minutes.. that's what we do in here." After all I bought EGR, my mechanic was about to change it, but he did not because it was still good. All my car needed to fix this problem was spark plugs and wires.3. I asked to check my inside light on driver's side because it works just sometimes, but they did not touched it.4. Travis Siegal did not call me even ones to let me know about my vehicle, all the times I talked to him on the phone I called him, he promissed couple times to call me back but he never did. Each time he kept promising me to give my car back the next day. I got my car back in 10 days and that messed up my plans. Also I could say that he was rude.Problems with my vehicle which i got after i got it back from dealership, but didn't have before i took it there:1. Front speaker makes weired noise2. Inside heating works just on high otherwise blows cold air3. My tire was low an air. This is not a big deal, but COME ON it has the light for that and I did not take my car to some random "garage boy"All these 3 listed above cannot be proven but it is very suspicious to me.In conclusion I feel overcharged for job like that. My experience was awful, I am never coming back again and definitely I will not recommend this dealership to anyone.

About two years ago after much bad luck with clunkers I went to Brighton Ford for a new car. I ended up buying a used car just off a lease. I go a great price for the car and more importantly I didnt feel pressured to buy something I didnt want. The sales staff was helpful answering questions and making me feel comfortable spending my hard earned money. Being a long distance commuter I needed to feel like I was getting a reliable car and I did. I have never had an issue with my car and I always take it back to get my oil changed and tires rotated. I went to Brighton Ford to buy a car because I have heard of others having great experiences there and I was not disappointed. Brighton Ford not only sells cars but they help the community in many ways. Even in the down economy I saw that they sponsored high school sports teams and continue to raise money for breast cancer. I respect that they give back to the community that gives to them. If you are looking to buy a car I would go here, I recommend them to all my friends and family.

My wife and I purchased two vehicles from Mr. Niskar just over one year ago. My wife bought a 2007 Mariner and I bought a 2004 F-150. I was ambivilent regarding the purchase of the F-150 as it was being "sold as" with no warranty. I explained my fears to Mr. Niskar and in typical car salesman fashion he told me "we are a reputable dealership" , "if you have any problems come talk to me, we won't leave you hanging". Like a fool I believed him. Since I purchased this truck I have driven 7200 miles. Recently I took it in for service to have the oil changed and my ABS looked at since the light had come on. Come to find out the brakes are shot, multiple sensors are broken and my system is fractured and my fluids are now a nice shade of black. Faced with a repair bill approaching 1000.00 I called Jerry back like he had said. Jerry told me "sorry" and thats it. I know that its my fault for believing him but be warned to anyone out there no matter what they say they just want to close a sale, get a commision, and to hell with the customer. If Jerry had just been honest with me and told me that if I had any problems I would be out of luck, I wouldn't of bought the car. In the end this dealership has cost the Ford brand a loyal customer and I will forever tell everyone I know to avoid them since Mr. Niskar's version of reputable and mine are apparently very different.

DON'T EVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP... THE OWNERS ARE A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS.I WAS ON LOT AND WITNESSED THEM FIRE ON THE SPOT A SEC OFFICER WHO HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH A CAR BEING STOLEN, THEY JUST WANTED SOMEONE TO BLAME.THEY ARE VERY PUSHY WITH SALES,HAVE A ''FAKE'' NICE ATTITUDE.THE CAR PRICES ARE THE HIGHEST AROUND.. I WOULDNT MIND IT SO MUCH IF THEY WEREN'T SO PUSHY WITH SALES.THE OWNERS ARE COMPLETE A-HOLES. I HAD A ONE ON ONE CONVO WITH JERRY THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY, HE WENT ON AND ON ABOUT WHAT HE HAS AND RAISING THE PRICES, AND LIVING THE GOOD LIFE..HE'S NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH MONEY, WHAT A JERK. HE JUST WENT ON AND THE WAY HE WAS TALKING WAS LIKE HE WAS LOOKING DOWN ON OTHERS.. I CANT BELIEVE THAT...

My son bought his first car here this week. He is a college student and has family that work for ford. In his initial email to see what deals they had he mentioned he had an "a" plan which to him was the employee discount!The dealer started the deal on Thrusday, he signed the contract on Saturday and went home with his new car..all was good..Until....Monday. The sales team told him they did not verify the pin for the discount and that he qualified for the "X" which meant he had to bring the car back or give them $800.00 more. They accused us of lying to them. Even though we told them it was the employee plan from his "UNCLE" the whole time. We are not the experts on the ford discounts and according to the Ford website it is the DEALERS responsibilty to verify eligibilty before the sale is completed. The top manager asked us to have the Uncle lie to Ford and state that our son was HIS child to get the A pin. We refuse to do that. It just shows that they are terrible and unethical! I will be sure to tell EVERYONE that this dealer is the worst place to ever go..my son could be your son too...

Bought 2001 F-250. Was told that a 150 point check had been done and only things that needed to be done was change fluids and brakes whick were done. "Brighton Ford backs every vehicle we sell" I was told by Jack Ringwood. Get truck home and I find that the zerk fittings on upper ball joints are so rusted I can't get grease in them, oil had not been changed,truck had not been lubed, one tie rod was so worn I'm surprised I made it home,and I will need brakes and rotors all the way around. Been trying to call Jack and he will not return my calls. In fact nobody from Brighton Ford will return my calls. Will be making a complaint To the BBB. See you boys in court!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER AND THIS SALESMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Promised 2nd remote key for car. Eric saw I wasn't happy that there was only one key, and when we were first discussing the car in the lot and I asked about having TWO keys, Eric assured me there were two keys. Later, in the sales office, Eric could see I was not happy about him now saying there was only one key. I wasn't going to buy the vehicle. So Eric said he'd buy the key for us out of his pocket, and commented how expensive they are, over $200, because he wanted me to be a happy customer. Eric said give him a week because the person who turned the car in was on vacation, and that he'd wait till he talked to the previous owner to see if maybe they still had the other key so he wouldn't have to buy the key. We were patient enough to give him a week. (It probably was a stall tactic). A week came and went and Eric said the previous owner did not have another key for the vehicle. My husband came in to pick up the key Eric said he'd have for us, and it was the cheap type. He lied and said he never agreed to the more expensive key. He also swore at my husband. Very unprofessional. My husband spoke to his sales manager, who of course stood behind him.
