Chad at Luther Brookdale Ford was very kind, I am disabled and have a service dog so he made sure that I made it to a comfortable place in the waiting room. Chad checked on me a short time later to see if I needed anything and I very much appreciated that. When my car was done with the oil change he went over any repairs that I would need and made sure I understood the information. This was all in about 30 minutes and my car was clean as a bonus that sent me on my way. I could go someplace closer to home for service but I get really great service each and every time I come to Luther Brookdale Honda that I would not even consider it. Thank you Chad.

They ran my credit 11 times without my permission. ELEVEN! Just to try to get me a loan as fast as possible so that I would buy the car as fast as possible because they knew I was having second thoughts. They told me they were only running it once. I didn't end up getting the car, and now I can't anymore because my credit report shows 11 inquiries so I can't get a loan. Not only did they stop me from wanting to go back to get a car from them, they actually stopped me from even being capable of going back to get a car from them, which is just horrible business practice. All because they were impatient and selfish.

Long story short, Brookdale Honda replaced my rear brake pads and rotors back in Feb 2016. Less than 4 months and 5600 miles later, the rear right pads are worn out. Brake pads usually last up to 30,000 miles so this sounds fishy to me. They claim the pads were defective but why is it only the rear right that's defective and not the rear left? They told me I had to pay $217 for labor although the pads would be covered under warranty. I should had checked my receipt then but only found out recently that they charged $84.77 for the aftermarket pads. I went on Brookdale Honda's website and saw that they only charge $87.11 for the OEM Honda pads (Part# 43022-SV4-G22 or 43022-S84-A50). The issue here is that they originally quoted me less if I went with aftermarket pads instead of OEM pads. How can anyone trust a shop like this? Finding an honest and trustworthy shop is hard enough, I just want my review out there so others know to stay away from places like these. Sure, if they change their mind and not charge me for labor I'll be more than happy to update my review. 1. Please enlighten me on how this is fair when the brake pads were parts Brookdale Honda selected, not me. For all I know, they could had bought $20 brake pads and charged me $87. 2. Brake pads and rotors were originally changed by Brookdale Honda on Feb 15, 2016. On Feb 25, 2016, had to take it back in because rear brakes were causing wheel vibration, noise, and causing the wheels to reach abnormally high temperatures. Re-lubricating brakes helped this go away. Why enough lubricant wasn't used in the first place shows that installation of the brake pads and rotors was not properly completed. 3. Less than 5,600 miles later and the rear right brake pads are scraping the rotor. Brake inspection from today shows that caliper is not at fault, therefore the brake pads reached pre-mature wear due to other reasons. If brake pads are defective then why isn't the rear left scraping my rotors? Summary of previous receipts: 2016-02-13 at 140,791 miles Perform brake inspection. Your brake pads have been inspected and found to be in fair condition. The lining is between 4mm-5mm (disc) and 1mm-2mm (drum). The rear brake pads are worn to 3mm. Recommend rear pads and rotors. Advised customer of repairs needed on their vehicle. Needs rear brake pads and rotors. The customer has been given an estimate of $532.15. The customer declines at this time. 2016-02-15 140,878 miles Replace brake pads/replace brake rotors/rear. Please use aftermarket parts. Rear pads and rotors. Replaced rear pads and rotors. Rotors replaced $54.72 (Qty: 2) Pads replaced $87.44 (Qty: 1 set) 2016-02-25 at141,445 miles Perform brake inspection. Had brakes done and now rear driver side is grinding and making wheels hot. Cleaned and lubricated the braking components. Took it on a test drive and all is operating per design at this time. Advised customer to come back in if other issues continue. 2016-06-07 at 146,389 miles Checked all braking components. There were no seized calipers, no stuck slide pins, and the caliper pistons are operating per design. Aftermarket brake pads would be covered by warranty. Recommend replacement of the rear pads with the resurface of the rotors. Also recommend performing a brake flush to ensure all air is out of the braking system. Customer declined work today.

After I bought my brand new Honda CRV-EXL I had questions. My sales person had excuses why he did not reply for over a week or more. When I got upset left message with customer seevice he called back up set and still had no answer. Now my backup camera is not working right. I contacted my salesman again and I waited all week and even waited past memorial weekend. Another week later still no reply. So I contacted another Honda dealer they called me back within 30 minutes asked the problem said it is under warranty as I inquired from Brookdale and got no help. The other dealer transferred my call to seevice made an appointment. I am so disappointed.

I requested an on line quote on a 2016 Honda Accord and got an almost immediate reply with a very competitive offer. I liked the up front approach taken with the offer.The offer was significantly lower than the No haggle Walser dealer in the Twin Cities area. The follow up was appropriate without being stalking. I ended up purchasing from my local Honda dealer who priced matched and wasn't a 100 miles further away. I almost felt guilty about not purchasing from Brookdale as the on line process was so smooth. I don't usually do reviews , however this was a very pleasant experience. I will be contacting this dealership again in the future for my next vehicle purchase.

We actually got a fantastic vehicle from them, however the entire process was a COMPLETE disaster. I started communicating with them online and when we went to meet the sales guy at the time he said worked for him (Chris) he was not even there. So we went with a different sales guy (Victor) who was great at first. We test drove a vehicle and said wed think it over and get back to him. I emailed him a few days later, negotiated a deal and went to go sign the papers. We met with him, got everything figured out and then went back to meet with the finance guy, only to find out they were selling us the wrong vehicle as they mixed us up with another couple! After some more negotiations we moved ahead with the correct vehicle, however the finance guy (Kevin) did not seem to have a friendly bone in his body. Every other time I have bought a car Ive been able to discuss/negotiate financing & interest rates but he did not do that, only said we could refinance once our first bill came. So, we went ahead with it and now are trying to refinance, however they screwed something up with the title and now, 2 months later, we still do not have the title and it will take 6 weeks for us to get it. Ive been very disappointed in the entire process as no one has seemed to care about any of the mistakes they have made. If you want a friendly, easy car buying experience, DO NOT go to Luther Brookdale Honda!

We regularly use Brookdale Honda for repairs. We had a problem with our hybrid battery. They diagnosed and replaced the battery in a timely way. They recommended some service that we had not had done recently. Their loaner car service was swift and easy to use. We will continue to use them for our service and repair on our two Hondas.

I took my Pilot into Brookdale Honda for recall work. The technician was able to complete all of the recall items, some of which pertained to some issues I was having with my car, and all costs were covered under an array of recall warranty. In addition, I saved labor costs by having them replace my timing belt at 120,000 miles, something I had wanted to do, because they were already performing the recall work. They provided me with a free loaner for the entire time the car was being fixed.

Julie was attentive to our requests, even arranged for a longer test drive. She answered all our questions, even to the point of letting us experience how warm the interiors of various colors got sitting in the hot sun. She was knowledgeable about the car and it's features. She took the time to go through the basic operations of the electronics and set up the cell phone on Bluetooth. The financing was handled without difficulty. We were personally thanked by the sakes manager for our purchase. The dealerships facilities were comfortable and we were offered beverages more than once. I would highly recommend this dealership. I am confident our initial positive experience will continue throughout our ownership period.

While driving in slow-and-go traffic for an hour I noticed my car jerking a lot. I'd been told my transmission fluid was pretty dark, so when I realized I was just a mile or two from Brookdale Honda (where I'd purchased my Civic Hybrid) so without an appointment, I made my way there. Fortunately, they had time, so changed the fluid. I was pretty much on my last nerve after all the traffic tie-ups and had no desire to go back to the nightmare that was the freeway. I asked the clerk if she had a map or could help me find another route home...I had no map in my car and no smart phone. She couldn't help and then had a customer coming up. As I walked away, an employee named Shane, who had just finished with a customer, approached and said he could give me directions. I explained that I was looking for a northern route and he took me to his computer so I could see a map of the area. Then he showed me exactly how to get across the river. Bless him, I was so relieved and I want to commend him for his gracious assistance. Brookdale Honda is lucky to have an employee who would go the extra mile to help someone out.

Their customer service is the best. I am 69 years old and have bought a lot of cars, and this dealer is the best. Brad Jerde was our sales representative and was referred to us by friends Bill and Rod. To us, Brad was most helpful, congenial, and was a wonderful listener. Brad worked with a positive attitude, a sense of humor, and a very professional manner at all times. Brad answered our questions and referenced information for us when needed. Instead of being a high-pressure sales person, Brad presented sales information in a dignified, respectful way at all times. The day we picked up our new car, Brad spent a good part of an hour explaining the many buttons and whistles on my car. As a retired teacher, I thought Brad did an excellent job; he was patient and explained steps in a logical order for me. We also had the side passenger windows tinted, and then later, after the windows were tinted, decided to have the car undercoated before we picked up our car. Brad arrange both of these services in a very timely manner for us. We have and already are planning to recommend Brad Jerde to friends who will be looking at Hondas in the next year or so. We thank Brad Jerde for making our new car purchase a very pleasant experience and fun!

I was in a car accident in Des Moines Iowa. My destination was Texas, It was cut short when I was blindsided and didnt see a vehicle coming next to me as I was entering the right lane. I was on 35S and the cruise was set at 73 miles per hour. I got back in my lane when the vehicle in the right lane turned and drove into my Honda, My honda was hit at the high speed on the passenger side, threw us under a guard rail and into the ditch. First, Honda stood up to its name. The other vehicle was non driveable, my honda pulled out like a trooper, though the body is badly wounded, the main frame, mechanical, electrial, engine, everything else was fine. The safety feature of the car was more than golden, we were not injured at all. The mirror on the drivers side was severed off, so I needed it replaced as soon as possible. When I brought the car in to Des Moines Honda, the police wanted me to make sure it was driveable, they advised the car was a total loss. I took it to an auto collision center who advised the car could drive, ok to drive back to Minneapolis. When I took the car to Luther Brookdale Honda, I met Laura, she was so sweet, and very concerned and showed compassion for what I had been through, and my poor Honda. She got me in right on time with my appointment, and the time she estimated would be about 45 minutes. She explained the process, so I understood. She welcomed me to the waiting area to have coffee and a cookie if I wanted. When she came back Laura explained the process, advised where my car was parked, showed me where to pay the bill, and at my surprise the bill was a small amount lower than quoted earlier. I felt so happy with my service I came right home and let my facebook world know how great Brookdale Honda is, for their honesty, and friendliness. I love my honda and my honda dealership. Luther Brookdale Honda referred me to the Luther automive I now have an appointment to start the repairs, though it is expensive, I am happy my car is not a total loss, and I am so thankful I did not sell it back to Des Moines Iowa Honda!

I brought my Accord in for the recall fix and a starter engine sound. They fixed the recall part and said they couldn't recreate the noise. So I went to pick it up and they offered to come with me to start my car to see if they could hear the noise. Maurice came with me and had Excellent customer service. We got the noise to happen and 500 bucks, another day, and a new starter later it is no more. I give them a 4 because they didn't find the issue until I came back to the dealership to pick it up and the service is on the pricier side of things. But I have been going here to get my service on my Honda for the last 2 years and will continue to do so because their customer service and facility are amazing.

My van thawed because of oil pan hole. I am a poor foreigner never understand the process of insurance, extended warranty or oil pan even. Zac Schwartz was the one helped me for the whole process and fixed my car. I know it was difficult to understand my accent and my bad grammar. I dont have a word to say thanks for Zac. Very impressed that, even though my Pilot is a 2003, Honda is still standing by my vehicle. A recall was issued to fix a potential problem and not only did they notify me about it but also - proactively - called me to tell me and set up an appointment to fix/replace for no charge. Not many products out there that are still supported that well after 10 years.

My car had been making a horrendous noise for the past year or so and everyone insisted it was the power steering pump, but after that was replaced TWICE, we went back to our suspicion it was the "o ring" and even with some hesitation to try it, Honda of Brooklyn Center was willing to try it and replaced it for us and -- viola! It is fixed! I could not be any happier, as I was ready to trade my Accord in for something else! But they pulled through and for relatively cheap ($40) fixed a problem that was driving me insane! THANK YOU!

I researched the new car I wanted to buy and settled on a Honda Accord. After deciding on the Honda Accord, I then needed to choose a dealership. I ultimately chose Brookdale Honda (which is a part of the Luther dealership family) and it was an awesome choice. The selection at the dealership was excellent. The price that I received was very fair. Most importantly, the service at the time of the sale and after has been amazing. The process of buying a car was not difficult nor was did they try to sell me everything else as an "add-on". My salesman offered me various options but "no" was "no" and he was very respectful of my choices. I would positively go to Brookdale Honda again.

We received a recall notice in the mail for a minor fix so we knew we had to contact Brookdale Honda. Then we had an unexpected exterior part issue that prompted us to call immediately. Once we had the car in the shop (which is beautiful by the way) we found a couple of other items that needed to be addressed that really could have turned in to major problems. Zach took great care of us and everything was handled very efficiently and professionally. While car issues are never any fun, its comforting to know that Brookdale Honda has a team of professionals (Zach, Chad, Amanda, and many others) who are there to provide excellent service and get the job done right the first time. Second time having my 2012 Honda Odyssey in for regular maintenance minder service. Had an oil change, tire rotation and an airbag recall inspection. I was greeted by the staff promptly and got checked in and was able to wait in a very nice area with TV, newspapers and a separate area for kids. (It's great to sit and wait for your car being serviced and not having to listen to the little screaming "rug rats, since they have an enclosed room all their own! :-) . Chad, as always, was very professional & friendly and got me in and out quickly. Another plus for Luther Honda is the 20% discount coupon for my regular maintenance service! (Many other corporate organizations are SO CHEAP, they think a 5% discount coupon is good........NOT!!) I definitely will be coming back in the future for service. Luther Honda's new facility is much improved from their old facility across the street. (Much larger and laid out well!).

The repairs occurred well within the time specified. A possible recall was found not to apply to my vehicle and was fully explained. Amanda was very helpfull in replacing the battery in my key when it did not appear possible due to the condition of the key. This saved me quite a bit of money.

We just purchased our third vehicle from Brookdale and keep coming back because the customer experience is excellent. The salespeople are good to work with (Mike Levit) and the customer focus continues in the service department (Chad and Jay are great!). One time our heater had an issue in the middle of the winter-it was nearly 20 below!- when we had a 5 week old baby and they squeezed us in to fix our car same day. The staff is knowledgeable, fair, timely, and courteous. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else.

When I pulled up to the service area I was greeted immediately and checked in right away. Even though I was a little early for my appointment they got to work right away. The two people I had contact with were very friendly and explained everything to me. I even got the car wash I asked for. The new location is beautiful with a large waiting area with cookies, water, and coffee. Several TV's and a nice sized kids room which was nice for me since I had my two kids with me.

I had my Odyssey in recently for a recall repair and another repair that needed to be done. The person that I had scheduled the appointment with was vert pleasant and made sure that a message was sent to Chad so the part that was needed would be in stock since that was what prevented me from getting the repair work done the first time. Chad was friendly and accommodating as usual and kept me informed of the status of the repair work throughout the day. My only issue with my recent experience is the increased cost of a rental car. In the past it had only been $16-18 to rent a car for the day but this time it was $30! When I said something to the guy that was helping me he said that the cost of everything had increased to help pay for the new facilities. I will certainly keep this in mind when deciding to get a rental car again or any other services there to be perfectly honest. Got me wondering if the repair work I had done would have cost less at a different place even though I have always liked coming to this location.

First time to come in to this service center. My wife and I didn't know what to expect, so I set up an appointment to get our new Honda fixed from a recall notice. We drove up to the service door it opened and someone came to us and said there would be a person to help us soon. Out popped Chad and he said how can we help you today. I explained the recall and the appointment which we were told over the phone would take a minimum of two hours, so best to drop it off. Chad said are you going to wait and I asked him, how long would this realistically take. He said maybe 45 mins tops. We waited instead of coming back in a very nice clean facility. Watched some TV and had some coffee, a cookie and some water. Maybe 30 mins later Chad comes in and asked for us, showed the paperwork to sign and we were done... just like that.

I just bought a new odyssey. We chose luther brookdale honda after doing extensive shopping online comparing all the honda dealerships in the twin cities and finding they had the most competitive prices. The salesman we worked with was great - he did not pressure us and listened to what we had to say instead of trying to pitch us on a particular vehicle. Lost keys in the recent snowstorm. Was planning to get a new FOB for my Honda Element. Zach and the crew did everything to make me feel at home. We usually do not use dealerships for oil changes, however, when we bought our 2011 Honda Insight (which we love) we found it difficult to find a place that had our filters or were comfortable servicing this vehicle. There are not many Insights on the road apparently, so when we received e-mail coupons from Luther Brookdale Honda we gave them a try. The first time was not a very good experience. We had an appointment, but it still took over two hours. This was at their old location. We decided to give them another try at their new location and had a totally different experience. They were right there to help as soon as I drove into the garage. They have a beautiful customer waiting area and a helpful staff. I was informed of any concernes they had before they continued any services and I was provided with a detailed quote of the services I declined at the time. We will continue to use this dealership for oil changes in the future. The complimentary car wash is also a plus!

Recently purchased a new vehicle. Upon delivery of the vehicle the car the salesperson stated there was a full tank of gas and vehicle was ready to go. Upon pickup the vehicle did not have a full tank of gas and the speakers sounded like someone turned up the volume and destroyed the speakers. Upon inspection of the vehicle the car had paint chips which is unusual for a new car. Needless to stay took the car back the same day to get the speakers fixed. Several days later dropped the car off to get remote start added to the vehicle and they touched up the paint. FYI: Renting out a car is a hassle and would not recommend taking a loaner vehicle. The process is very slow. Be prepared to wait. When came back to get the car from remote started added, the staff couldnt find my keys. When they did no one was available to show me the remote start features. I was told the instructions are in the box. I proceed to figure it out myself. The car started, but the lock and unlock buttons would nto work. Only then did a service guy and salesperson come out and try to help. I was told to bring the vehicle back and the installer could look at it. I eventually got them to come to my house, but what a hassle and nightmare buying a vehicle from them. I will not go there again for anything. Very disorganized. I guess once they made the sale nothing else matters. I've learned my lesson! The buying process was shady and salesperson was not upfront about costs since you can go down the road and save $1000. I would recommend shopping around when dealing on price.

I bought my 2005 Accord here five years ago. I have never used a dealership service department for regular service until now. Consistently great service from really nice people. Yesterday there was an elderly man waiting for his car at the same time. The staff was so kind, caring and patient with him. At least twice I've dropped by and gotten something simple fixed fast; the last one a radio reset after getting a new battery installed. The technician was happy to drop everything and help me. Lastly, the new facility is really comfortable. Great coffee.

Had to bring my 06 Honda back because they put in regular oil, when I have only used Mobil 1 synthetic oil. I purchased the car here and all my oil changes today have be done here. Took my Accord in for 30k maintenance. New facilities are fabulous, very comfortable environment for us "non-mechanically inclined" types! Laurel was with another customer when I arrived, so Maurice came out to greet me and get me started. While I was waiting in the very comfortable customer lounge, Laurel kept me updated with everything they were finding/doing on my vehicle. She notified me of a couple of issues, let me know they were under warranty and promptly took care of them. I also attended the new owners clinic that same evening. What a great way to introduce new customers to all of the departments you normally have to discover as you need them. Service staff on hand were very helpful, answering both facility questions and questions people had about their specific vehicle. I overheard a conversation where an elderly woman asked about setting up her blue tooth, and was told to just come in and they would help her set it up, no charge.

I was very well taken care of in every step of the process from check-in until the time I drove away in my newly washed car. The waiting facilities are top notch. Private areas for watching your own TV or reading a book with comfortable chairs. I even brought my own coffee to drink but didn't have to; coffee, tea, muffins and cookies provided. Recently brought my Pilot in for routine maintenance. A recall had come up and I was able to take care of that at the same time. More repair needs were found during the maintenance and Amanda walked me through what was needed and the costs. She set me up with a rental car and kept me updated with the progress. The next day Maurice, who took over for Amanda, kept me updated and went over the repairs when I picked up my car. I have been bringing my Pilot to Luther Honda since we bought it almost 11 years ago. I appreciate being able to get it in on short notice at a time that works for me. Recently I was having issues with the electrical system on my 2012 Ridgeline. There was a mysterious draw that was draining the battery. It ended up requiring a lot of time and work to first identify the problem, then fix it. The service department was very helpful and did a great job as quick as they could, regardless of the fact that it was all warranty work and I didn't even buy my vehicle there. Zac Schwartz was the service rep I dealt with, he deserves a promotion or a bonus for how helpful he was. It's hard to CI d good customer service these days.

Took my 2012 Ridgeline in for it's first oil/filter change and tire rotation. Normally I do these things myself, but I had a couple great coupons, and hey, it's cold in my garage this time of year. The service area was unbelievably clean, and I was greeted immediately as I stepped out of my truck. Service people were very friendly and the service itself was done in a very reasonable amount of time. The waiting area is also very nice, with complimentary snacks, beverages, and a few flat screens to watch. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a free car wash with the service. Overall I was very happy with my experience and I will absolutely be back for service in the future.

Fairly new Honda CRV started having battery problems, not holding charge. At 0 degrees weather, I needed a dependable vehicle. Took it in, the service department tested it and said it was okay, but customer new it was NOT okay. Ben listened, had it retested, called tech at Honda and tech felt that a new part was needed. I was immediately set up with a rental CRV at no charge, and I was on my way until the repair was completed. Ben was excellent at keeping in touch with me re: the progress of the repair. Repair required ordering a part, but it was done, and now the CRV is working great. Glad it was warranty work. Oh, yes, had an oil change as well. And to top it all off, they washed my vehicle! Great service and facility! Really like the computer access and TV screens. Nice place to hang out.

The '07 Accord was due for the 110k tune up, something that I had been planning for some time, knowing that there would be a greater cost for the repair. Amanda at Brookdale Honda provided me with an estimate well beforehand so I could plan. At the drop off, Amanda reviewed the work to be completed and coordinated a rental. The next day the car was ready, washed and cost below the estimate thanks to a dealership online coupon. One year ago I came to Luther Brookdale Honda in search of a car. The salesman that helped was very friendly. He asked me on what I was searching for and the price range I was looking at. He went through their entire inventory to find what I was looking for. He answered all of my questions. I am very glad that I went with a Honda. This week, I brought my Honda in for a quick repair. Very friendly customer service. I was told that it would take about an hour and that is how long it took (unlike other dealerships I have been to when they say it will take an hour and it ends up being two hours of waiting). The lounge facility was fantastic and very comfortable. It was easy to understand what was being said about my car's repair at the end. I am very pleased Brookdale Honda.

My wife and I walked into Brookdale Honda for the second time in one day after nearly buying a Toyota Sienna and were greeted by William Carr. We had been in earlier in the morning and drove a Honda Odyssey with TJ. TJ did a nice job showing us the car and I absolutely loved driving it. Unfortunately, after hearing the price, we felt it was too expensive and that led us to the Toyota Dealer. The Sienna was nice, completely adequate and significantly cheaper, but I couldn't stop thinking about the Honda. Later that evening, my wife and I decided to go back to Honda one more to time to get some real numbers and confirm that it was out of our budget before buying the Sienna. We explained our situation to Will and that we really loved the Honda but weren't sure we could make the numbers work. To our surprise, he just grinned and said "You're going to be going home with a Honda tonight" Will and his staff worked tirelessly (past close I might add!) to get us a great deal that we could not pass up. The only thing better than the service we received at Luther Brookdale Honda is the Honda Odyssey we got to drive off the lot! Will is a top-notch salesman and made us feel like he was working to get us a great deal and into a car that is perfect for our family. We love our Odyssey!

However, the wash was on a windy day and the drips left behind captured a lot of salt and sediment from the road right away. Would be nice to have most of the water drops gone before the car leaves the shop.

Somewhat disappointed this time. I was promised that I would get an estimate on the damages to my car. That did not happen. Didn't get a car wash since they said it was "too cold." I asked them to look at the light in the dash. That didn't happen, it is still on. Was told I should expect to be there 30-40 minutes. Was there an hour and a half. Not what I have always experienced in the past.

I was recently in for a service appointment and they recommended I replace my battery as it was getting weak, and I was sure glad I did! Zac waited on my and the customer service was excellent. My wife always bragged on Brookdale and now I have her car so it's my turn to experience. I rented a car as the car was supposed to be done the same day. They had to order the part from Chicago so the car was not done until a Monday. I asked if I could have a reduction on the car rental for the weekend. They couldn't do that but knocked $30 off the repair bill.

They bagged my regular tires up for me and got me on my way fast. Shane was able to find the correct tires for my car which several other places could not and gave me a good price. My Honda CRV has been a great asset. Its gotten me around in bad weather, and I've used it like a small pickup. I recently had a maintenance service done in their new faciity and wow, I was amazed. Service has always been good, but now I can wait and work on my computer in comfort. Large comfy waiting areas with tvs galore, work station cubicles to plug into with your laptop, and coffee, cocoa, and snacks. Chad helped me take advantage of a battery warranty I had when it was showing a bad charge during a maintanance. All the people have been friendly during its various maintenances.

I went in for an oil change and was reminded that my car was on a recall but parts were not in yet. I would be notified when they are in. They would do an inspection to make sure the power steering hose was not leaking. I was reminded that it was time to rotate my tires and was told that my battery was weakening. I was treated well.

Due to a misunderstanding of the maintenance timetable, I had made an appointment for several services that weren't due yet. The service people explained which services I needed and which didn't need to be done, saving me a few hundred dollars. They put quality customer care before profit. New facility is awesome. Very comfortable for waiting with comfy chairs, snacks and beverages, and computer portals and big screen TV. Service personal were courteous and accommodating. They let me return with forgotten discount coupon and credited the coupon amount to my debit card. Repair was completed quickly and on the same day with minimal wait time. Despite refusing some of my requests, the service advisor was polite and fair and pointed out why I was wrong and disclosed the final price for the repair prior to completion so I had a choice about continuing or not.

This was our first trip to the new facility, after using the old one for service for many years. I brought my car in for an oil change, and to replace the right upper ball joint which was found to be loose at my car's last visit. The only additional service that was done was to replace worn stabilizer links (L and R). My car is 12 years old, and has 175K miles on it. I am pleased to say I bought my car at this dealership. The new facility is fantastic! It was a pleasure to have a comfortable environment for sitting with my laptop to check e-mails, make phone calls and to study. The amenities such as beverages (water and tea, etc..) and fresh fruit were especially wonderful to see. I had brought my own water and a piece of fruit not expecting such thoughtfulness... At the old dealership it was big pretzels and a nice beverage machine (which were good, but offered less healthy choices). KUDOS to you for the improvements and taking care of not just the cars, but your customers health and well being. Everyone I spoke with at the dealership was friendly and welcoming. All in all, a great experience. I didn't want to leave when my car was done! (p.s.) I LOVE that you wash the cars after service. That is truly appreciated, especially this time of year. Thank you. I look forward to my next visit.

My wife took our Pilot it for a routine oil change and a recall issue. She said everyone she dealt with was extremely helpful and friendly and the new facilities were amazing. She kept talking about how nice it was. She had to wait for about 2 hours but because the facilities were so nice, she didn't even notice. Apparently they have work stations with flat panel TV screens, snacks, drinks, etc. It sounded nice.

I brought my Civic Si in because it was burning oil, they had me bring it in every 1,000 miles to check the oil consumption and I drive about 100 miles a day for work, so within about two weeks they had a solution to the problem. Their new facilities are state of the art and their customer service is top notch. I actually enjoyed bringing my car in because they made me feel at home. They were always very polite and answered all of my questions. Plus every time I brought my car in they gave me a complimentary car wash. The great service and facilities reinforce my decision to buy a Honda.

Friday was my first time in the new Brooklyn Center Honda dealership. I went in for a routine oil change, with no appointment. Maurice was my attendant and he did an excellent job. He gave me an estimate of the wait, but I was extremely pleased to wait because the facilities are amazing! Went in for a transmission fluid change, but happened to find out that check your whole car to see if everything is in working condition. So I came in to find out that my battery isn't up to par in condition and that they recommended me changing it out. This was to show that they go beyond in maintenance rather than just doing what you've told them to do.

I got a letter regarding a recall. It was followed up by a phone call. I was able to schedule the repair within a few days of my call. At the service bay, I was met immediately, and tended to right away. The waiting area was extraordinary, nicer than any other I have been at. Even though the need for recall was written and explained in the letter, I would have liked the service person to address it a little more in detail, telling me afterward what he found and what he did specifically. I saw a different person afterward-to sign off on the job than when I first came in. I would have liked it to be the same person, or have had it explained to me why he came instead of the first person. Overall, I was pleased with the visit to your shop.

I have a new CRV. Unfortunately twice now the battery has died for no reason. I have known Chad through 2 previous Honda's and he has always been very respectful. This time, though he could find no reason for the malfunction, he listened and believed me and took time to try to figure it out. He then told me to contact him at the dealership should my car fail again. The assessment of each system was personally discussed by the service manager. I've had my CRV for 3 years and am confident it is in superb condition. Was for 7:00 am, got their early, they opened up when they saw me & another customer ready, new facility is awesome - great for employees & customers, only scheduled for basic oil change but my rep explained I was due for 120,000 mile maintenance & explained why it was necessary & not duplicative, so we did that, she said it would take 2 hours, whuch it did, wait was very comfortable, she even offered courtesy car when I mentioned I was hoping to get a dr appt that morning, after service was done, she walked through results, then hooked me up w/ another staff person when I mentioned I was interested in a possible trade-in, everything was great. This is the only place I go for service & the only place I'll buy my next car.

Brought my 2001 CR-V in for oil change. Technician found weak battery on routine checks. Battery found to be five years old. New battery installed. Found out the next day that radio and clock were "dead". Back to service dept and they quickly found a blown back- up fuse and had me back on the road with a working clock and radio in 15 minutes.

When I asked the service manager if he had an alignment guy, he said no. He said there wasn't enough alignment business to keep one guy busy, and each technician did his own. Then he told me that no adjustment to camber is available on Honda cars. Only toe-in.

I went in for a slow leak and to have power steering and brake fluid put in. I don't think the two and a half hours I spent at the dealership was worth the money I forked over for the labor costs. Fluid: $30.00. Labor: $135.00 I think my dad was right. Change your own fluids and tires. The new dealership is beautiful. The customer service was wonderful. I just can't afford to pay for the labor.

I purchased a new, used car over the weekend. My old Accord had over 200,000 miles with some major repairs, they gave me a fair amount for my trade. I had a couple of issues that I heard while driving the new car over the weekend. I called for an appointment on Monday, they got me in on Tuesday. They took care of the alignment issue, replaced a couple of other things and didn't charge me! They also provided a shuttle service to and from my work. Overall treated very well!

The brand new facility was so nice and clean. A great waiting room area with multiple private TV's and a large waiting area. Complimentary beverages and snacks while you wait. I never felt like I was being cheated on the service and I always understood what was going on. The service manager went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with my service. Even though I live in south Minneapolis, I will drive all the way to Brooklyn center for any future services. I also bought my vehicle a year ago from this same dealership. I finally found a repair service I trust.

Prior to adding an electrical trailer harness requested information was complete and very helpful. Post service the representative offered advice on an additional adapter that would be required for a utility trailer and type of retailer to purchase it. Service was prompt. Waiting facilities were excellent with refreshments and comfortable seating. I have purchased two new vehicles from this dealer in the recent past. Sales people were very knowledgeable and courteous. No hard sell tactics.

Brookdale Honda has new facilities, nice and new to the point you want to wipe your feet before you enter. Although it's nice and new the service will retain the same as the same people are there, that is important. The company has just moved across the street. The mechanics have new built in toolboxes, many new amenities, fancy building etc. but I think they will keep on doing the same good service they have done before. Just don't track any dirt in.

There is a vibration in the tires on my new CRV. Brookdale Honda balanced the tires, and it is better, but I can continue to feel it in my hands on the steering wheel, and my feet on the floor. In addition, the automatic transmission on my new CRV was leaking fluid between the transmission and the transfer case.They fixed the leak with a new O ring.

I have taken my car to HONDA a couple of times and was very satisfied with everything. Monday 11/12/12 was the first time I felt cheated. I was not greeted properly with a "hello" or a "how are you?". I was addressed by my last name with no title "Miss or Mrs". I felt that my radio antenna repair estimate was ridiculously high. I felt over charged. I will have to come back to the shop for other items on the car to be fixed to off-set the price of the inspection, but I will in the future also shop around.

The service took less time than anticipated. I liked the new building, the work area allowed me to work on my laptop and still catch up on the news on TV. This made the time go by faster for me. I had installed a new battery myself and had a problem with getting the code to work on the GPS. This problem was resolved in the first few minutes that I arrived. I was told what the code was and wheere to find it on the Pilot. It was a very good experience overall.

my latest service experience at Brookdale Honda, was as usual, exceptional. The techs were polite and completed the work in a timely manner. The new facility is great looking and very customer friendly. I have a 1997 Honda CRV with pretty low mileage and they understand that I want to keep it running in a safe, cost effective way -- and I appreciate that. Tech explained what I should fix now and what can be put off for a little bit and if there is a safety issue involved.

Car service is probably the one thing that consumers complain about more than any other. We were surprised when at a routine service it was suggested that we replace the tires. Not convinced, I discussed the situation with the service writer at length. Never once did I feel rushed or that I was unreasonable. Nor did I feel that he was being anything but helpful and honest. Still not prepared to ok the tire replacement, yet, I was given the quote. After extensive research, the recommended tires were not only the OEM tires, the pricing was the best deal that I could find.

My D drive light kept blinking and of course I thought the worst. I quick call service and was able to get my truck in. I was called by the service dept to let me know it was ready and that they ran diagnostic and did a software upgrade. I arrived at the service center to be greeted by the service manager who explained everything they did and that this should take care of things but if not give him a call. I was also amazed to find out that this was covered under my warranty. It made for a great day. Thank you so much and the new facility is quite impressive.

I was pleased with my experience at the Honda dealership where I took my car to have a wheel alignment. They were friendly, helpful and explained things completely. The waiting area was bright and welcoming. My only question is this: Zac showed me a diagram of what the alignment was like before the service and what it looked like afterwards. I was anxious to share it with my husband but realized when I returned home that it wasn't with the paperwork. Was I supposed to receive a copy of that? I would like one :)

I went in for an oil change, and to learn why pesky lights kept appearing on my dash. I learned that the IMA System battery in my hybrid, which is basically the whole hybrid system, was on the blink!! Luckily Chad discovered that the battery was still under warranty, even though the car was not, and replaced the whole thing for free. All went very smoothly!!

After reviewing tires on line, I confirmed that I wanted to put origional equipment tires on my car. I also determined that I wanted to work with a person rather than a web-page. I got local pricing and then pricing at Brookdale Honda on their web-page. The pricing at Brookdale was favorable, so I contacted them and got a quote for the tires I was looking at on line. The service person, Ben, was very helpful from the start. The quote he gave me for the tires was two or three dollars less than the web-page, but he also informed me of their current incentives and the incentives that the tire manufacturer was providing. I decided to make the 200 mile trip to Brookdale Honda to get the tires and also other service done at the same time. I was not disappointed. Brookdale's new building has plenty of room for waiting and a very pleasant atmosphere. I was pleased that Ben checked the car thoroughly, and recommended some fluid changes for which I complied. I appreciated being asked and informed of any changes so there were no surprises or misunderstandings. Once the work was completed, I asked Ben to take a little time with me regarding timing for recommended service items in the future. He was very helpful and provided me with all I needed and asked for. Over the years, I have bought and sold a number of cars that cost more than today's price for four new tires. With such dollar outlays, it becomes all the more important to deal with helpful, straight forward people in a comfortable setting.

Everything about my experience was positive--it was super easy to get a quote and set up a service appointment as everything was done by text message, the new building is absolutely gorgeous and modern, and the staff was great. The only thing I could maybe say as negative was that I waited for my vehicle and it took about a half hour longer than quoted, but the waiting room was so fancy and had so many nice things (snacks, coffee and cappuccino machines, ice water, TVs, etc) that I didn't mind the wait!

Bought new '12 Odyssey Touring and we were in a rush so didnt go through pre sale inspection. Well a few days later we tried to sync the phone and learned the microphone didnt work. Brought van in on Monday and it was done Friday. BUT, the cause of the malfunction was rather complex and the dealer fond it fast, but had to order an unusual part. I brought my van in because it was acting funny but wasn't sure if there was something really wrong with it. Chad called me later that day to let me know that he couldn't find anything wrong with the car and that he had personally driven it to see if he could experience the problems that I had described. Of course, the van drove just fine for him! Chad explained all of he checking that he did without taking the engine apart and that he just didn't feel that it would be practical to start opening things up since he really didn't know what the problem could be. Then said that he didn't charge me anything for the assessment. I really appreciated Chad's practical approach and the free assessment. He also encouraged me to bring the van back in if I continued to have the trouble that I was taking about. I was relieved and glad that I brought the van in. Will definitely go back if needed!

The technichens were very imformative. They were clear in explaing the issues that needed to be repaired. I appreciated that there was no pressure to move forward with the repairs until I made a phone call to my husband first. The negative I can think of is this. When they first came to me with the repair information and what it would cost they neglected to check to see if I had a warrenty first. I had to remind them to to check and then they came back with a lower $ amount on the repairs once they knew wha the warrenty was covering. Over all I was pleased with the service provided!

I brought my Honda Civic in at the scheduled time. They immediately took my car and began the service. The service rep, Ben Wysocki, explained the work done and noted my front brake pads were reaching their end of life. This had been trended over the last several service calls, so I chose to add on this service. The work was completed for the estimated cost and in less time than quoted. They also fixed a sticky seat belt for no charge. The customer lounge was comfortable. I was completely satisfied with the whole experience.

I visited Brookdale Honda on a day that had already been filled with stressful events. It was my first visit to BH, and the last thing I wanted to do was deal with an auto repair. I was already resigned to the fact that it would only add to my miserable day. When I arrived (late) to my appointment, Zack and Jay were working the desk, and were very welcoming and helpful. I explained that my 'check engine' light was on, and I was going through the process of buying a home, so spending a large amount of money on a car repair right now couldn't be worse timing. I was clear that I just wanted to know the reason for the light, and an oil change. Jay pulled up my VIN number, and found two recalls on my vehicle that I was unaware of. After running the diagnostic, the tech explained to me what the problem was, and advised it be repaired as soon as possible, but given my circumstances, I'd probably be okay waiting a month or two. The oil change and recalls were completed withing the promised time, and I left Brookdale Honda feeling confident my vehicle was well taken care of, and no additional stress added to my day. I will definitely return to BH to have the repairs completed. THANK YOU!

I've always had great service from Brookdale Honda. I bought my Accord brand new from Brookdale Honda and was satisfied with my purchase. The associates at Brookdale Honda know their products last forever and that's why I think service after the sale is extremely important. I am always made aware of what the vehicle is required to have done and what it will cost. Very seldom do they come to me with a list of additional services, and when they do, it's usually obvious why it's needed and I've noticed the issue too. Ben arranged for me to have a new CRV loaner car for the day and that may just be my next purhcase from Brookdale Honda!

good service however follow up needs improvement. We ordered a part and no-one called to notify us that the ordered part had been received and then it was returned and now we are waiting yet again. Also when fixing inside of the pilot, the techs need to clean up all the various stain marks(finger prints) left on the upholstery, been a little more detailed and careful will be awesome. Thanks.

Ryan was my service person when I had the last oil change done that evening, and we had a not so good ending. He told me that my car would be washed when I checked in. I noticed on my way home that night that it didn't happen, I was upset with the fact that while I was waiting during the oil change he told me again that he would make sure it got washed. During him telling me what other services I needed. When I got home I called back to the service Mgr. and told him what had happened.Ryan called me back to apoligize and told me if I come back they would take care of it. I live in Plymouth and I wasn't feeling using the extra gas to come back. Yesterday Ryan took wonderful care of me and I was pleased. He also remembered who I was. The only reason that I only come to your dealership is my relationship with Zach he has taken wonderful care of me since 1999 when I purchased my Honda CRV. I totally trust him and what he tells me. I'm a single women that know little to nothing about a car but over the years Zack has taught me many things, I appreciate that to the fullest. In fact when I get oil changes (usually evenings) and the tech tells me that I have a problem before any work gets done I discuss with Zack first. It's really sad how many service techs take advantage of women as far as car repairs for their selfess gain. This is why I attached to Zach, he is real about it and work with you on the most important things that need attention if your funds are short. thank you Ryan for giving me the comfort back yesterday. I look forward to working with you on my future oil changes.

My Honda Pilot would not start in the morning so when I called I was told that they could not get it in today so I was going to rent a car. When I had it towed there I went in and talked to Zac and he told me no problem to get it in and get it checked out. I needed a new battery and the B16 work. He took care of it in a timely manner so I could wait and didn't have to rent a car!! He also replaced a light bulb for me and showed me where the code for my radio was after the battery change. He kept me posted throughtout the process so I knew what was going on. He provided excellant costomer service to me in a time when I was a little stressed out about the situation! I worked mainly with service advisors Zac Schwartz and Maurice Johnson. Both Zac and Maurice were very professional and seemed very knowledgeable. I went in for a check engine light and also a rattle noise. I was a little concerned that the technician could not diagnose my rattle. I had to speak with Zac and had him listen to the rattle. Zac correctly diagnosed it right away.

My car was having intermittent issues that were difficult to explain. Mechanic and I did a test drive that sort of helped but left some questions. After looking at the vehicle Dave(mechanic) and Zach(service manager) had me come to the car to show and explain what was going on. After fixing it and test driving, they determined that there was more and fixed that as well at no extra cost. They were thorough, explained well what was going on, worked conscientiously to finish in a reasonable time since I was waiting. Thank you for a great job.

I have had nothing but awesome experiences at Luther Brookdale Honda. I bought my car from there and return every time I need a service. Many places you go, especially as a woman, treat you as if you know nothing and some literally make fun of you as you stand there. The people I work with at Brookdale actually take the time to teach me what's happening with my car if I don't understand something or have questions. I've had to do a lot of small fixes on my own with various cars so I'm not a complete dunce but I won't pretend to be any kind of car expert...and they take that as an opportunity to teach not tease.

They notified me regarding their concern and called to see if the repairs will be covered under warranty. They regularly followed up with me io le to let me know the status of the repairs.
