This was the best experience ever!!!! My husband just bought a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 bighorn crew cab. Aaron and Shawn were amazing. Shame on me for believing the BS that was told to me during the process. Everything from we don't have what you are looking for to we can get it but you have to purchase it before Buchanan will go get it the car. The sales agreement was changed 4 times while we sat there for over 3 hours and it was still wrong. Still waiting on information with no call backs and still do not have all the paper work after a month. They have NO regard for customer service.

Drove up last Saturday from Martinsburg Found the Jeep we wanted. Asked if we could buy at invoice and get a fair trade on ours. They agreed. After over an hour, their fair trade was $4500 below NADA. After long discussions, they said they would do a 1000 btr because they really wanted our business. We couldn't do this so I shook hands and told them I appreciated their timeI went to three other dealers and all three agreed to give us the NADA trade which was now 3500 btr than Buchanan Jeep. I called Buchanan. They said get it in writing and they will "beat" their deal. My point is why make a client do this? Be fair in beginning and not try to take advantage of Buyer's We purchase new about every two year and I don't think this will ever be a dealership we visit again.Larry & Nicole

I inquired about a Jeep online. The next day received a call from "Alexa" telling me Buchanan was having the best sale ever! This was only going on until the end of August, so I called at the "perfect time"! She said they had the lowest prices of all times. I was siked to get there with my husband, and buy a jeep. Once there Robbie the salesman got noticeably irritated when I called another dealership inquiring about their inventory while my husband was negotiating the price of the jeep we just test drove with Robbie. Robbie said he wasn't going to tell us any price, because he didn't want us going to the other dealership after he works out a price. My husband actually had to ask him whether he wanted to make a sale that day or not. I informed Robbie that I wouldn't be asking for the monthly payment if I wasn't interested in that Jeep...Duh! Robbie shouldnt have been eavesdropping on my conversation in the first place. Once inside the office, we had to deal with the absolute most RUDE general manager of all times! His name is Chuck, and he is very cocky, and disrespectful. Honestly, I don't even know how he's still able to work there. He yelled over to Robbie's desk from his "sales tower" when we were sitting there. He told me there wasn't going to be ANY dropping of the price of that jeep. I then asked about the "great specials on ALL Buchanan vehicles" that Alexa told me about that morning on the phone. He then proceeded to walk over to Robbie's desk, and looked at my cell phone as I was searching for Alexa's texts. Unfortunately the only texts she sent me were of the address to the dealership, and that she was excited to find out what vehicle I drive home that evening. The awesome deals she spoke of, was on the phone call, not the text messages. That's when Chuck said we will pay retail for that Jeep, and there's NO negotiating the price. I told him we had nothing left to talk about then. The Jeep was way overpriced, and he wouldn't budge on the price. I do not recommend Buchanan for ANY vehicle purchase. Subsequently, two days later Robbie called me wanting to talk numbers so we could buy the Jeep. I then took great pleasure in letting him know we happily purchased a new vehicle the day before his call. We were treated like royalty by the dealership we went to. As we should have been being that we spent a huge amount of money. I let Robbie know that good customer service goes a long way, and he may want to think about that the next time he's got buyer's sitting at his desk wanting to spend some serious money. I will never shop at Buchanan EVER, and will continue to let all my friends, and family know how poorly we were treated. If this website would have let me rate Buchanan less than 1 star, I certainly would have, because it was the worst experience EVER!

I went into look for a truck to pull a camper. John Williams introduced himself and we chatted, there was no pressure. We took a drive and sat down and talked. Still no pressure! Rob Fleming the director explained and worked diligently to meet my needs. I was impressed that he met my demand on what I wanted to spend. They were both no pressure sales men that were strait forward. That's refreshing to know that it wasn't about a sale, but helping me to get what I wanted, and giving me the choices to decide with no pressure. It didn't take Tim Thompson very long to get the paper work together, explain, and finish my paperwork. Awesome job guys! I will buy another vehicle from Buchanan auto, it might be a couple years, but I would give them the opportunity for what they showed on this sale.

From the word go this was the best place I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. My salesman Dan was absolutely amazing. Straightforward, no fluff, honest, caring and didnt mind listening. I had a few bumps and bruises with my credit but they took care of me. They walked me through step by step, no hidden costs or fees. I eneded up with a 2014 Dodge Dart! It was one heck of an upgrade from my old car. They really know how to talk to people. Their customer service is appreciated and I tell everyone, proudly, where I got my car. Thanks for the service and the deal that I received from your dealership! As promised you did beat out another dealers price by $2,000.00. Gary Verno was very helpful and he did not talk me into anything extra that I did not want. I ordered the vehicle the way I wanted it built. They locked in the incentives offered and I put down a deposit and the only thing left to do was wait! He let me know when it came in and when it would be ready! So far so good! I just got the vehicle today so I really can not rate quality of work yet!

The salesman were not pushy, allowed us to go home to think about purchasing the truck without giving us any grief or hassling us the next day. Upon calling to say we would take the truck, our credit was run paperwork was started and truck was cleaned and waiting for us!! Went to start looking at the used car market to see what I could find for my son, senior in high school. The lot seemed completely beyond my price range and the sales person agreed. The lot manager jumped in and told me he had the perfect car for my son. It was a 1 in a million possibility (a 22 yr old car with 37K miles) but it was there. Gave me a great discount on the car. The process went so fast that I forgot to hit all the buttons to make sure they worked. The radio and its speakers were shot, which I did not notice until after the sale was completed. He had no idea either, so he is taking care of that for me too! Rob Fleming is the real deal.

My husband and I showed up at the car lot at about 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. They were very busy. They kept telling us someone would be with us as soon as possible, so we looked around awhile and got a better idea of what we were looking for. Kathy helped us. We told her what we had to work with and what kind of vehicle we were interested in buying. She listened to us and got us into exactly what we were looking for at a price we could afford. They even ordered us new Dodge floor mats because one was missing. Plus we got a great price for our trade in. Kathy and the two gentlemen that took care of our financing and paperwork all stayed well past closing time to get our deal done so that we could take our new dodge home. They all went above and beyond to take care of us. I will tell anyone I know looking for a vehicle to go to Buchanan Auto Park and see Kathy. She was very easy going , knowledgable , respectful and a pleasure to do business with. Everyone we saw that day was very polite and helpful. We feel like we got a very fair deal.

Took my van there today to have recall work done. I asked them to check on my sliding door and give me an estimate on a problem I was having. The last thing I confirmed before walking out the door was that there would be no charge for any of the work and that we would get an estimate on the door. When we went to pick it up, they had already done work on the door and expected us to pay for it. We refused and were treated very poorly. I feel like we were being taken advantage of. Many people would just pay and go on, but since I had confirmed what I wanted before going out the door, I was not paying for the work. I will never do business with this dealership again. I will not deal with a place that has this kind of customer service.

I've bought many vehicles over the years but I have to say when we just purchased a Grand Cherokee Jeep from Buchanan Auto Park, it was a smooth transaction. We dealt with Robbie Veil, a nice informative young man. I hate BS and someone who is pushy of which he was not. He was extremely knowledgeable and I have to say the most accommodating person I've dealt with. He had a Dodge truck, and was under the impression--as a man--that he needed to have a truck, just in case. Our current car died on us and we needed a new vehicle fast. We called John at the Dealership and he found us exactly what we were looking forward and expedited the paperwork for us. Salesperson didn't tell me that there was only one key for the vehicle that I bought until all the paper work was done and my trade in was taken somewhere. I had to buy another key and have it programmed in to my vehicle and in a couple of months I'm going to have to buy 4 new tires for it even though they claim that they were fine for THEIR Maryland Inspection which was done at their sister dealer in Westminster,Md. They offered me new tires but also said my payments would be higher if I did that. WHATS WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE ????? I think some way or somehow they should give me a check for the tires that I need [ $ 700.00 ] plus the $ 125.00 for the key I have to buy.. I just wonder how many other people they have CHEATED.

Vehicle was crudy when delivered. Brakes had shimmy. Chuck said service would be in touch to clean and fix. Didn't happen. Sales person called a week later to wish me Happy Birthday. Renewed my complaint about brakes, said he would have service call me, again didn't happen. I had ti finally call service myself, and they were professional. They came and got vehicle and fixed, and cleaned the vehicle. I told Chuck I wanted daytime running lights, front and back, he said no problem he would take care of it. I asked him multiple times and now he denies ever saying he would take care of it. Called him a couple days later, he said Dodge said nothing could be done with computer and if I took it someplace independent to have it work that way, my warranty would be void. They were so understaffed that I was there over 2 hours and the vehicle wasn't even there. Chuck said he was sorry and he would handle the paperwork himself to get me out. He did it wrong. I wanted to wait to come after they had the vehicle from another dealer, but said they couldn't do that till I committed to buy. I said I'm not coming down 2 times, 45 minutes away. He said no problem, they would deliver. They sent someone that knew nothing about how to demonstrate the vehicle and knew nothing about how to redo the paperwork. Yesterday, they called and said I signed above or below a line that was wrong. I don;t feel that is my responsibility. I have bought a dozen new cars and they put x's or arrow shaped papers showing you where to sign. They said I would have to drive down to sign it. I told them I don't get down that way often. Never again will I buy a car from them, advise you the same.

Dear Mr Neal,I am writing on this dealer because i have the hope that you can read this review. The case is that in July 23, 2015 I bought a used car Ford Fusion 2013. The very first day I had problems with the breaks, we came back to the dealer service and they fixed it, but yesterday Thursday August 20th we came back to the service because the Ac wasn't working. The people from service wants charge me $1,035 to repair the AC, so they sent me back with the seller (Ryan) and he sent me with Rob, the manager. I did like the fact that Rob started apologizing and offer me to pay part of the bill, but I told him that I am holding that car for less than 30 days so I don't think that I have to pay a peny for the repair.Rob started raising his voice and in very bad manner told me lo leave his dealer. he say "if you no want take my offer get out from my dealer." Rob transform him self in a monster and continue raising and raising his voice. All the sellers were witnesses of the bad treatment I received, that happened yesterday around 3;30pm.As a customer I don't deserve the treatment I received from your Manager Rob at Buchanan Kia Used cars - Westminster. Went online looking for a dealership that sold halfway decent used cars and delt with most credit types. Found Buchannon..called first. They said they could help. I went there thinking they would check my credit ..verify my job...income etc. Someone met me at the door. Thought this would be quick. No set the the first time for 5 hours. They said I had to bring in s copy of a bill. Second visit sat there while the messed around for another 4 or so hours. Third trip traded my car for a used vehicle. Low and behold drove off 3 to 4 weeks later found out my paperwork on their end was not completed. Should I say more.

We worked with Don Harmon in buying our used car. when we went there to see what they had we didn't intend to buy that day. But Don was very friendly and did everything to keep us in the price range that we needed to be. He was friendly and didn't pressure us like most dealers do. He didn't care about the sale but, about us and what we needed and what he could do to make sure we got a good reliable used car. Like I said earlier we had no intention on buy that day but, with his help and the help of the rest of the staff we left with a 2008 Buick. They are not like any other dealership that I have ever been in. I highly recommend this dealership and Don Harmon to anyone that is in need of a new or used car. However, from the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly by all and our saleman Steve Price who was simply amazing. He listened to us and was so nice and helpful. I've had my Ram 1500 Big Horn EcoDiesel for a couple months now, and I am totally pleased with it. I recently took it for a 500 mile run from home in south-central PA to visit family in far-western PA, and after going back and forth over the mountains (not on the turnpike), I averaged 28.6 MPG. There was no lack of power on the hills, either. The eight-speed transmission is so smooth that you have to be watching the tach to see that it has changed gears a lot of the time. My dealer installed options were installed in a timely manner and are functioning as designed. No other services have been required, to date. It isn't cheap, but I feel that it is a good truck for the long-haul.

Most of the management team here are veterans! As soon as they found out that I was a Marine (disabled), you could tell they really were working hard to make things happen. I would say to anyone looking to purchase a nice truck or other vehicle (I bought a Ram 1500 Big Horn SLT), before you think you cannot afford it, give them a chance. Received call and visited the 11582 Buchanan Auto Park in Waynesboro, PA. Dealt with a John Williams who knew what I was dealing with from the start. Convenience me they could get me a better deal than what I had. Even with my handicap I sat there for over 4 hrs waiting. My husband and I could not have been happier with the experience we have had this last week at Buchanan Auto Park. JT was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The finance team not only found us the best deal that day, but brought us back twice because better interest rates were found, which then made our payments lower. This blew our minds, the sale was done, we had bought the van, and were perfectly happy, yet they kept working our file and making sure we had the best deal possible ~ now that is GREAT customer service! We do have one glitch with the van, but the service department is already on it, ordering the part and going to have it fixed as soon as they can. To be honest, we were not 100% thrilled the last time we went and got out 2007 Caravan, felt that the finance part was a bit long and they didn't communicate well as we waited, but went back to the dealer because we like the product so well. The overall mood of the dealership has changed and improved so much, we could not have been made to feel more comfortable and assured about our purchase. Thank you to everyone, especially JT, for making this such a great experience!! We will be back in 35 months since we chose the "Buchanan Better Way" purchase and can't wait to see what you will have for us then!

Found Buchanan online to have the best selection of Wranglers on their lot. Arrived late Saturday afternoon to Buchanan Auto Park and was introduced to JT to start working on what I was looking for. JT asked me specifically what I was looking for within the Wrangler family. He never diverged from what I wanted, pulled a Sahara from the lot to go over & for me to test drive. Went over initial numbers with me, including giving me a very fair price on my Cadillac I was trading; the only waiting I did was due to being 2nd in line for finance behind another customer. JT then took the time, even after the dealership had closed for the day, to connect the BlueTooth in my new Sahara to my iPhone before pulling out of the lot. The entire process was very smooth & relaxing. I purchased the exact vehicle I wanted at an awesome price. I couldn't be happier! Thank you!!!

John and I went to look at the 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport, John had been in touch with the dealership and received a email from Chuck Buchanan. Had made an appointment for 1:00 PM. Becky Carr assisted us as soon as we entered the dealership, pulled up the information that Chuck had entered and took us out to show us the jeeps... She was a wonderful salesperson and definitly knew her product.. We went for a test ride... between Chuck and her the deal was fantastic, and we ended up going home the same time driving a brand New 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport, we had wanted running boards, which they installed immmediately before we left.. Service was excellent and Chuck and Becky were the best...... word of mouth will be noted everywhere we show off this great jeep... Funny note, we just went to look.......

My wife and I were dreading the "car buying process" and had put it off for a long time. We had not bought a car through a dealership in close to 20 years. We started at Buchanan Auto Park to test drive a few cars and had no intention of buying until we were confident we had exhausted all of our options. When we arrived we met the Sales Consultant Dan Langley. We gave him a general idea of what we were looking for. We thought we were going to be interested in a small SUV or crossover and thought they may make a good family car. Dan was very patient and took the time to show us every single car that we pointed to. We made multiple runs back and forth to the office to get different sets of keys. He was very knowledgeable about every car as well. Once we told Dan we wanted to really take our time and drive multiple cars he informed us that through the "family" of Buchanan Dealerships who could get any car to the lot for us to try including from their Subaru dealership on the Eastern Shore. We were impressed. Once we test drove and saw the space in the mini-vans we decided to go that route and Dan went over and let us test drive every one on the lot and was willing to bring in others if we needed. At no time did Dan "pressure" us. As a matter of fact he was very perceptive of when he should step away so my wife and I could talk in private. He was very respectful of our price zone and did not ever try to talk us into anything he genuinely did not think would interest us. Once we decided on the car to purchase we had to "negotiate" with Rob (Sales Manager). I say "negotiate" because Rob too was also very respectful of our price limits and did not pressure us or present us with anything that was not in our limits. We told them what we wanted to pay, Dan and Rob came back with an offer including the financing that was very fair but we hoped to come down a little. They agreed to come down to what we wanted (which was very close to original) and we had a deal. There was never once any pressure or "tough negotiating". They gave us a fair offer and even sweetened the offer for us without pressure. It was very pleasant. I had also done a bit of homework on the Market Value and feel they gave us a terrific deal with the original offer. Once we had a deal we went with Derek in financing. By now it was well past closing and we have 2 children (8 and 5 year olds) and Dan and Derek stayed late and entertained the kids while we got the financing paperwork taken car of. The entire staff was terrific having our kids in their offices for multiple hours. They gave toys and kept them entertained. Dan was very diligent, knowledgeable and respectful. I would recommend buying a car at Buchannan Auto Park and highly recommend talking with Dan Langley. We honestly felt we were treated well and got a great deal.

Becky helped me through all aspects of buying my new beloved Jeep Grand Cherokee. A lot has changed over the years, especially when it comes to buying a car. It used to be you would see the price of a car, and then haggle on the price (which I absolutely hated), and then go inside to work out a deal. Now everyone seems to throw the cost of the car out the window, and the new question is "how much do you want to pay a month". Next thing you know you have a low monthly payment but never took the time to see what you were actually paying for the car. I found working with Cheryl to be a breath of fresh air. I had already went online and found the car I wanted, and it was located at this dealership. When she greeted me I told her exactly what I wanted. I then told her about the internet pricing I saw and she asked if she could get me that price would I be purchasing the vehicle. I told her yes, we went for a test drive, we went inside to do the paperwork, and I drove home in my new car. It was probably one of the best experiences I had when purchasing a vehicle, if not the best, because I didn't have to put up with all the nonsense that seems to go along with buying a car these days.Thanks,Jack Rudy

They had a pretty good price to start with rebates, but were still above my bottom line for the total cost. It ended up taking some time on the next day for them to meet me where I wanted to be on price, but they did!. I just got home from having a factory Remote Start installed by Buchanan that was part of the deal. I will definitely do business with them again.

My overall experience with Buchanan Auto Park in Waynesboro, PA was an excellent one. Becky assisted me on several occasions answering questions over the phone and the same day I came in and was assisted later that evening by Mike and Chuck. Both associates were friendly and very knowledgeable. They even stayed after hours to ensure all my questions were answered before leaving with the truck (for a day test drive) I ultimately ended up purchasing this week. Becky worked with me to ensure I had every detail of the many features and gadgets my new Dodge Ram 1500 has to offer. She helped me sync up my cell phone, answered many of the new technology feature questions I had and simply helped make my buying experience a nice one. All three associates showed concern about making sure I had all the answers to my questions in order for me to make the best decision for me. I would strongly recommend Buchanan if you are in the market for a new car or truck. Additionally they have a nice used car dealership nearby if you'd prefer a used vehicle. I've owned many new cars, used cars, trucks & SUV's (trucks, cars, vans, SUV's, sports cars, etc) during the past nearly 20 years, but have never returned to any of the same dealerships for a second purchase. I can honestly say that the overall customer service and knowledgeable associates at Buchanan Wowed me enough this time that I will without question be back in a few years to buy another. Started dealing with Max Million and was friendly and a nice guy but the closer we got to the deal the less he wanted to do for us and then tried pushing the sale on us even though he knew we weren't happy with the whole package. His words "Just take it". I guess they get pressure from higher ups to sell but that didn't set well with us. He got mad when we turned down the deal. Then his manager geared into us as well. No place to buy a car.

I ordinarily do not complete surveys like these, but the service and prices at Buchanan were so exceptional, I felt compelled to do so. First, the pricing on the new Durango and Ram that I purchased (both vehicles) was thousands of dollars better than anything else I found in NJ, DE or elsewhere in PA. The sales force was ZERO pressure - simply showing me the vehicles I was interested in seeing, and leaving me be to look around and consider options. They were helpful and answered all my questions and their financing package could not possibly be beat. To top things off, they sent a driver to pick me up and bring me to the dealership to get the Durango when I was ready - this represented an 8-hour round trip drive for their driver!!! After completing the paperwork (which was well organized and a breeze), I was given a comprehensive tutorial on all the new features of the vehicle (which I needed), and then I was on my way. I was made to feel as though I was the only customer who mattered to them but knew this couldn't be true because of how busy their shop was. All I can say is that I was extremely impressed by the team there and doubt that I will ever buy another car from anyone else.

She followed up quickly and professionally with a phone call and worked around my schedule to arrange a visit. I was very impressed with her knowledge of the vehicle (RAM 1500) and financing options. Cheryl did not apply any pressure and gave me plenty of time and insight to make my decision and yes, I did buy the RAM 1500 with the dealership provided financing (they beat my Credit Union rate!!). Buchanan still feels like a family run/hometown dealership. The price on the website was the price I received without a bunch of add ons and such. It did take a little longer than we anticipated, but I haven't bought a vehicle in a while. Everyone was very friendly and treated me like they wanted my business. From Becky, to the finance guys, to the folks in the shop, and parts department, they answered my questions and did what they said they would do. So far everything has went real well.

I went to their dealership 2 months ago because they say they will not be undersold and they have they have the GUARANTEED LOWEST PRICE HAHAHAHA WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!. I went their with my wife knowing what vehicle I wanted and was paying cash no financing. I priced the same vehicle at 2 other dealerships which were 1 hr and 45 min away instead of them that was 20 min away from us. Well after 4 hrs of sitting in their showroom trying to get them to match the other dealers price we ended up leaving without buying. The manager said that there is no way that they would sell that vehicle to me for that price and that I needed to go there and buy it from them and while I was at it buy 3 or 4 more and bring them back to him because it was to good to be true so that he could make some money from them. I even had everything in writing in a email from the other dealership and their price was on their website as well. Well after that rude statement we did go and we did buy the vehicle from the other dealer for $3000 less than what Buchanan wanted for same vehicle exact MSRP. So I figured I would try them again today so I called first and talked to the very rude Manager Chuck tried telling him I would come buy from them today if he would match the other dealers price. Well i received the same response If I could go buy it from them for that then I better do it and while Im at it buy a couple for him so he could resell them and make a killing. Wow this must be their response every time they get confronted with someone else beating their so called GUARANTEED LOWEST PRICE!!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL i EVEN CONSIDER THESE RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE AGAIN!!!!! I WONDER IF THE OWNER KNOWS OF THIS HMMMM PROBABLY NOT.!!

I have bought 4 brand new cars in my life, but this was by far a better deal and more than I could ask for. Max was so helpful and the financing staff was so good about describing the details of the financing that I felt so at ease and relieved my searching for the car I wanted was finally over.I drove home in my new Chrysler 300C that same night after a two hour drive down. First met Becky when I drove onto the lot and was looking at trucks outside. She was informative, knew the vehicles well and did not pressure me in any way. On my second trip in we discussed options, looked at more vehicles and again there was no pressure. On the third visit we drove and purchased a Town and Country instead of a truck and have been very pleased. I took the T & C back into the dealership to have an accessory installed and I was treated like family. This was a refreshing change from the bum's rush other dealers give you. I just want you to know I just got off the phone with your VERY Rude Derrick up at the used lot across from sheetz and he stated no one will be helping me. I put 2 Grand down on a lemon that your company sold me. I have had my car in the shop time after time with in the month that I have own this 2010 dodge avenger. This is very unacceptable. My girlfriend Jessica Zeger and I have bought several Cars some from the new lot and some from used lot and have never been treated so badly. I have left messages with Chuck the GM who has not returned my cars. The only person who has even attempted to help with the car I just bought and pay monthly $340 was Kevin. As you see in the prev messages I have sent him a video of what is going on and have had my car in the shop several times. There has to be a way that you can buy out my lease and either return my $2000 that I put down or transfer the $2000 i put down onto another car at a comparable price and vehicle. Derrick told me that lemon laws do not apply to used vehicles and that is incorrect, there are laws like this and I am sure you know that. I will spread the word how i have been treated if this is not taken care of. I am currently in a rental under your company in which I was told to keep until someone resolves the issue and I am placed in another car. Cheryl walked us through the buying process step by step. We first test drove a vehicle with her and then upon returning to the lot her first question was, "Does this vehicle have everything you were looking for, or is there some other things that you would need or want?" At that point we told her a few additional things we were looking for, but said that we wanted to remain within a certain price range. She promptly spoke with her manager to see what other trucks were available with the options we were looking for. She found us a truck with the options and within the price range. Cheryl made the process of buying a car pleasant and enjoyable, our teenage daughter was with us that evening and Cheryl talked with her as though she was an "old friend." My Chrysler town and country was in 6 times within a 45 day period at one point they repaired the wiring harness and within 120 miles my transmission went back into limp mode. They never return phone calls when they tell you they will. It took them twice to fix the seat belt so the air bag light would turn off. They over charge us for a tire repair.. Left several messages for Todd Renfro without him returning our call. After picking the van up after it's last time in the shop they would not guarantee the repairs.

There is not enough room on this page to explain the nightmare that we experienced buying a vehicle form this dealership. We were told numerous lies from the beginning, I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from this dealership again. Phone calls are never returned , tags from our trade were left laying on salespersons desk for three months without a phone call, we were under the assumption they were being returned to the MVA since they were not given to us only to receive a letter from MVA asking for the tags and proof of sale. After numerous calls we were finally told to " come pick them up" they had no idea who they belonged to, what a joke. This dealership cares about one thing only and that is MONEY!!! We were also looking at a similar vehicle from another dodge dealership that we were going to purchase and Buchanan gave us a better deal and told us they would return the van to the other dealership and pick up our trade. That never happened either, they were to busy. We were threatened by the other dealership and our trade was plowed in with snow and damaged. This was the worst buying experience that we have ever had. i could go on for pages on how we have been mistreated but its just not worth it, no one cares not even Dodge Corporation, they got their money and that is all that matters!!!!

What first brought us to this dealership was the service department but over the last 3 years we have also had dealings with the new and used sales departments. Most recently, I bought/leased my second car turning in my 2010 leased Dodge Journey and leasing a new 2013 Chrysler 200 Limited S. My sales person, Max Million, has given me excellent care in meeting my needs as well as my wishes by meeting with me several times and calling when when appropriate to give me updated information. It is this kind of sales that has kept us coming back as well as knowing that the service department also does excellent work in following through to meet our needs. The paperwork was seamless and done as quickly as possible which also was greatly appreciated.

We looked at several Jeep dealerships in a three state area looking to purchase a new Jeep. Buchannan was the only dealership that actually took the time to ask us what we were looking for. Jason was very helpful in helping to explain the advantages and disadvantages of the different models. Everyone we came in contact with in this dealership had a positive attitude and seemed to really enjoy their work. The finance department was most helpful in helping us secure a lender and expiditing the paperwork. This team of people worked hard to help us and made us feel as if we were the most importent customer they had. When the time comes to replace this car we will be back to see them. I went to this dealer looking to replace my 99 jeep wrangler with 200,000 miles for a new Jeep that could more easily hold two kids. When I sent an email query, I was immediately contacted and had a convenient appointment set up. When I arrived I was treated in a friendly and professional manner. The first thing my saleswoman did was sit down and discuss what my needs were and what I wanted. From there she set about finding what worked for me. Not once did I feel pressured to buy, or treated like I didn't know what was best for me. It was freezing cold outside that day, but bless her heart, she still managed to find all the vehicles I wanted to look at, and provided me with an honest answer for every question I had. The staff was very knowledgeable, and after I had made my purchase, I was introduced to the service manager along with other key employees that will assist in future services. I found it to be a very relaxed purchase, the whole process of looking at cars, going over payment plans, and them handing me the keys took a little over two hours, very different from when I bought my wife's ford fiesta from a different dealer the prior year. I'm very pleased with my new Jeep Patriot! I would recommend anybody in the Waynesboro area looking for trustworthy dealership to at least stop in or send an email query to Buchanan auto park. I doubt very much they would be disappointed.

I worked with Jason and Kevin in purchasing a 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn crew cab. Jason and Kevin worked very hard to get the deal done. I got the truck that I really wanted for a price that I could afford. I visited several dealerships while searching for a new truck. I could tell when I visited Buchanan the first time that the staff really wanted to sell me a truck and that's what I was looking for in a dealership. Most of the other dealers I visited seemed uninterested in me as a buyer. I wanted someone who really wanted to work with me and get a deal done and that's what I found at Buchanan. I am extremely happy with the truck, the price, and the whole process of my purchase. I have recommended Buchanan to several friends and family members and when my wife's vehicle is paid off, we will be going back to Buchanan. I recently purchased an 09 Dodge Ram from Buchanan Auto Park. I must say that I was very impressed with the level of service and the quality of the deal that I got. I shopped around at several other dealers and kept getting low ball value for the trade in of my nissan Xterra. I spoke with Leroy on the phone and he told me that they had what I was looking for. Leroy did a great job showing me trucks that were in my price range and did a great job showing off the features of each truck. Buchanan gave me great trade in value for my Xterra. Derek did a great job working to get me a great truck with payment where I wanted them to be. Overall I had a great experience from Buchanan and would definitely purchase another vehicle in the future. I would like to thank Leroy and Derek for the willingness to work with me and get me into the vehicle I was looking for at a great price.

I have bought 3 new vehicles myself. Our nephew has bought or leased 6 vehicles from them. Out great niece bought a new car. We have never had a problem with Buchanan.When I had a problem with Len Stoler Chrysler in Westminster trying to cancel myextended warranty due to my Chrysler being totaled, I after a couple months wentto Buchanan and they took care of it in 5 minutes.I will recommend them to anyone.

Will do anything to get you into the dealership! Promising deals ect... Not afraid to waste your time by saying they will work a deal if you come to the dealership! I do not care that I could not get the deal I wanted, but do not appreciate wasting a 45 min drive twice on promises they can not keep! This is one of the worst experiences I have had with dealing with a dealership in the tri state area. Need to work on being straight foward with customer. I run a local store and know what customer service is! I have over 100 employees have over 10000 customer transactions a week! I definately will not have good things to share about buchanan dealership! I would recommend a drive to chambersburg or hagerstown

This was absolutely the worst car-buying experience either my husband or myself have ever had. First, the dealership refused to show us vehicles that met the parameters of the financing we had secured before shopping. However, they did show us a car we liked and secured different financing. We signed the papers at 8pm Friday evening and had to return the car by 2pm Saturday afternoon due to transmission problems. We were not offered an apology for our inconvenience, no loaner car, just a promise to repair the vehicle "first thing" on Monday. Therefore, less than 24 hours after signing the paperwork, I was without a vehicle for several days.The day my temporary tag was to expire, I called the dealership to find out what was going on with my tags. The salesman was unable to answer this and had to return my call. When he called, what he explained was that when the paperwork was completed that they had not bothered to add the $180 fee for tags into the contract and therefore we would need to bring them $180 before they would give us our tags. They refused to take responsibility for the error and tried to explain how all of these problems were our problems. They even tried to convince us that they did US a favor by not charging us a deductible for the repairs they made to the vehicle when we brought it back less than 24 hours after purchase. We will NEVER AGAIN purchase a vehicle from this dealership. The poor customer service and incompetence was astounding.

This is the first car I ever bought. John Williams and Derek Lee Mann were very helpful, doing everything they could to make sure I got a good car. I bought a 2006 Chevy Cobalt, candy apple red from them. I have no credit history, which makes it even better. I needed a car within a week, and wasn't that hopeful that I'd get one without any credit history. But with their help, I walked away with an excellent car! It's affordable, gets 30mpg, and suits me perfectly. I am very thankful for their help,and happy with my new car

I bought a vehicle in April 2011, and I have not stopped fixing things. I have put so much money in the vehicle it's not even funny. Everytime I turn around I have to have something fixed. I think they knew it was a piece of junk when they sold it to me, but of course they are not going to tell you that. It was suppose to be clean, well it was not. I will NEVER buy from there again!!!

I have mixed feelings on my experience with Buchanan Auto. First off, I did all my price shopping/quotes through email/phone and plenty of dealers gave me prices. Buchanan Autos website says right on it Call now for special internet prices. Dont bother calling for prices, they will just tell you to come in and wont give you a price over the phone or email. I am not sure why their website says that but I couldnt get a price unless I showed up. I went to the dealer to order a Grand Cherokee just the way I wanted it with the promise of them beating out my best price I found through other dealers. Being a consumer and wanting the best price possible, I gave them a chance to beat my previous quotes from other dealers. When I got there, I expected a quick heres your price process.. Well, two hours later after they tried to lease me a vehicle at the price I wanted I finally had my order done for a purchase price I wanted. I did appreciate the effort to lease me a vehicle, but it was more of a waste of my time than anything. I did end up getting a price $200 less than a dealer five minutes from my house, Buchanan is about 30 minutes so I figured $200 is $200 so I ordered from them. Six weeks later the Jeep came in. The day I picked it up, it had rained two hours before my scheduled pickup time. I got there and the jeep had a lot of water spots all over it and wasnt real clean for someone picking up a $43K vehicle. I let it slide since it did rain that day(I would have had it pristine either way if I were the dealer/detailer). I got the jeep home and found damage on the window trim of the rear quarter glass area. Dings, scratches, nicks you name it. I got to looking closer and found scratches in the window(yes the window) and clear coat paint near the area also. I was not too happy that my brand new $43k Jeep had damage on it the day I brought it home and especially not too happy that a dealer would sell a damaged vehicle to a customer. I am not surprised they didnt notice it since they didnt take too much care in making the Jeep clean for me to take delivery anyway. I took it in to show them, Max my salesman looked at it. He agreed it was definitely some sort of transit damage(not the dealers fault) and got the manager to look(forget his name(Chuck?), oh wait he didnt even introduce himself or apologize for the issue). He acted as if it was not a big deal my $43k vehicle had damage on it and sent us to the body shop manager Doug. Doug looked and said the window and trim would need replaced and they could wet sand/buff out the paint scratches. So they ordered a new window and I made another trip there the next week to get it fixed(still not too happy my BRAND NEW vehicle was getting a complete window replacement and paint work done). Max threw in some slush mats for the troubles which I appreciated. I pick up the Jeep the next day and find they didnt fix 80% of the paint damage!! So, I got to take it back ANOTHER trip($200 savings gone by now). Doug at the body shop claimed he didnt know there was that much damage the day I showed him. He got me in and out and the jeep damage is 80% better than the start(can still see some damage that was too deep and some wet sanding evidence). It will never be perfect even if painted(nothing is as good as factory paint) so I am stuck dealing with an imperfect brand new vehicle. In the end I wish I went with my local dealer for $200 more since they were upfront with a purchase price through email unlike Buchanan. I had second thoughts from the start and after my experience I realize that $200 wasnt worth giving Buchanan the business.Pros:-Got the Jeep for $5200 off MSRP and $2500 below invoice which was the best price I could find in my area!Cons:-Wouldnt give me prices over phone or email even know the website says to Call for special internet prices-Manager(Chuck) was rude-Slow process in making a deal I thought was pretty much made over email-Detail shop is not very particular-Sold me a damaged vehicle

I recently was looking at a used Caddy and was very excited to be getting out of my old gas hog of a SUV. I had been in and talked on the phone with Mike about the vehicle at least a half dozen times. Mike and myself had a appointment at 5:00 pm when i got off of work to finalize the deal. When I drove past on my way home to change after work at 3:30 the car was in the parking lot. When I got home, i called up my insurance agent and had them change over my insurance to the new vehicle and asked that they send it to buchanans fax line to be sure i could show proof of insurance. When i arrived at buchannan for my 5:00 meeting, the car was gone and Mike apparently had a family emergency. I certainly dont wish any harm upon anyones family but i find it just to convenient thats how it worked out. And this is all while my new insurance card is in their fax machine. Well needless to say i was not pleased, and when i tried to reach the GM in charge of sales, i was put through to his voice mail and did not get a response. I would think at least a phone call prior to the sale of the vehicle, or even a call to say " hey, just wanted to let you know that we sold the car". I did not put down any money but was never asked to either. I am also in sales and there is something called "the right to first refusal" if you are already in negotiations with someone. Call and cancel for all i care, but dont waste my time.

I BOUGHT A USED 2005 STRATUS IN JULY OF 2011 WITH THE HELP OF A COMMUNITY RIDE SERVICE WHICH HELPS LOW INCOME PEOPLE WITH JOBS GET TO WORK AFTER LOSING THEIR TRANSPORTATION AND THEN TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE. I INVESTIGATED BAP ON LINE AS I HAD NO TRANSPORTATION TO GET TO STORE AND EVEN WITH MY PROBLEM CREDIT GOT GOOD FEEDBACK. I INVESTED $500 (VERY HARD EARNED DOLLARS) AND THE AGENCY $1500 TO PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE.AFTER 2 WEEKS I NOTICED AN ODD NOISE AND MENTIONED IT AT A VISIT TO INSTALL A MANDATORY LOJACK DEVICE AND WAS TOLD THEY FOUND NOTHING, LEFT A MESSAGE FOR SALESMAN THAT I WAS STILL CONCERNED, BUT NEVER GOT A REPLY. AFTER 6 MONTHS THE NOISE BECAME LOUDER AND A FREIND WHO IS ALSO A MECHANIC SAID IT WAS WHEEL BEARINGS AND SINCE I HAD A EXTENDED WARRANTY I SHOULD TAKE IT IN AND HAVE IT CHECKED AGAIN. I ALSO FELT A FUNNY FEELING WHEN IT SHIFTED GEARS (LIKE TRANSMISSION SLIPPING). THE REPAIR DIVISION CHECKED IT SAID YES IT WAS WHEEL BEARINGS AND BALL JOINTS AND THAT THEY WOULD ORDER PARTS AND FIX, AS WELL AS A PROBLEM WITH THE DOOR LOCK. I WAS NEVER GIVEN A WRITTEN REPAIR ITEMIZATION ONLY TOLD IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND I JUST NEEDED TO PAY MY DEDUCTIBLE. WHEN I PICKED UP I STILL WAS GIVEN NO ITEMIZATION OF REPAIRS DONE,BUT I SAW A REPAIR WORKSHEET SAYING BALL JOINTS WERE NOT COVERED IN WARRANTY AND TRANSMISSION NEEDED WORK. I CONTACTED THE USED CAR SALESMAN AND GM AS WELL AS THE HEAD OF SERVICE ABOUT GETTING SOME SATISFACTION CONCERNING A CAR I HAVE ONLY HAD 7 MONTHS WHICH IS NOW FALLING APART, AND ONLY A FEW REPAIRS BEING DONE, AND NO ONE TELLING ME ABOUT WHAT WAS REALLY DIAGNOISED, NO ANSWER EXCEPT SALESMAN DID TRY TO GET ME IN A NEW CAR BUT I WAS TURNED DOWN. NOW 3 WEEKS LATER IT IS SOUNDING REALLY BAD AGAIN(I AM GUESSING THIS IS CAUSE OF BAD BALL JOINTS) AND TRANSMISSION IS DEFINITELYSLIPPING .

Max and I met 2 years ago when I first moved to the area. However, I couldn't complete a sale with him at the time, I frequently stopped in to chat with him and browse his inventory. Finally, with the release of the 2012 Power Wagon, I fell in love with the truck and had to have it. As for customer service the two sales associates we dealt through were friendly and helpful. However, we actually had to deal through three different associates through out several visits which became confusing for the sales team. Additionally, the manager sent a new employee out without answering the question he had, he fed him to the fire in front of us. I can only give a '3' for service/work/friendliness because of the manager.As for overall experience I rate it as Bad. The vehicle I drove and liked was sold before I got there and I was never notified. I was expected to sign an agreement for a vehicle that was only mentioned between me and the sales woman. SERIOUSLY?As for price I HAVE to rate it as Very Bad. When we arrived to look at the numbers the manager came up with (given we knew our one vehicle had a few thousand negative equity) we were expected to pay over $31,000 for a vehicle with a sticker price of less then $24,000! And that was supposed to include cash back and incentives. RIDICULOUS! We were looking to buy two vehicles at the same time. Needless to say we didn't even bother looking at the numbers for the second vehicle.

After driving a 2002 Ford Focus for the last 9 years and with the odometer getting ready to eclipse 120,000 miles I decided it was time for a new vehicle. After hearing many great things about Buchanan Auto Park and with my brother's referral I gave them a shot. I was immediately impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of my salesman, Max Million. He made the transition from my Ford Focus into a 2011 Jeep Patriot 4x4 seamless. The customer service didn't end there. General Sales Manager, Chuck Bumbaugh, worked the phones with another bank after I had already signed my paperwork and got me an even better deal on the vehicle and all it took was a couple extra signatures on my part. The courtesy and customer satisfaction that I experienced at Buchanan Auto Park is head and shoulders above any other dealership I've dealt with. They have my business from here on out.

In the beginning the folks were very friendly. They became less friendly in the price negotiation process. Granted, I may have been trying too hard to get them to understand a few points I was trying to make. The negotiations may have taken longer than they wanted. And, they became inflexible when unable to travel down the day they wanted me to close the deal because I was away on vacation. When I came back from vacation and contacted them to close deal, they said the price was now $3K higher. I then told them about a competitor's advertised deal (60 miles further) on exact vehicle (except for one option difference). Then manager emailed to get together on price. I tried multiple times to contact them to set up day/time to get together (in response to his email), but they wouldn't respond. I suspect they didn't want to entertain the competitively advertised price from another dealer. They seemed to start ignoring me when I inquired about the Lowest Guaranteed Price they advertise. I suspect their motto should really be: We guarantee the lowest price, but instead of the $1,000. if we can't meet the price, we will just ignore you. At least if they would've responded with not wanting to do business with me at that price, along with a valid reason, I could understand that. I can't understand why none of them would respond to me. After a couple days of their ignoring me (after saying about getting together on getting close to the other deal), the other vehicle was sold. So, I figured is that is the way Chevrolet treats customers, I not only would not deal with this dealership, but avoid Chevrolet all together. I've had much better experiences with other manufacturers.

First I enjoyed working with the Buchanan Auto Park because from the time we stepped on the lot Max was there, see if he could help us with anything, not trying to push something off on to me but curious about exactly what I wanted. So, we went into the office to talk about what I wanted the lot did not have exactly what I wanted. However, max found exactly what I wanted and got the payments to my range. I would recomend Buchanan Auto Park to anyone in the world. Also, Max was very helpful with all questions and explained the vehicle very well when they got my Jeep from another dealer. He is a great well rounded salesman with fantastic customer service. My experiance was great. Thank you very much Max.

We came to this dealership after getting some poor customer service from a dealer in our hometown. Max was knowledgeable, friendly, straight to the point and no bull kinda sales person. He didn't make us any promises, but one...to make this experience much better than our last....and that he did. He's very friendly, family man and he makes a person feel comfortable. Darryl, the financial wizard was great too. My husband and I were laughing the entire time with him. Our monthly payment was more than I had thought it was going to be, but still doable and it was refreshing that I didn't have to give my first born up, I could keep my arms and legs and I left with the shirt on my back!!! Not bad eh??? I would definitely recommend these folks to anyone looking to buy a car. Great experience! Thanks guys!

I found Buchanan Auto Park via an internet search of Dodge dealers in my area. All the employees I met there were friendly and professional. Becky's friendly personality instantly made me feel comfortable, and by the end the day I felt like I was talking to an old friend. She found me the car I had been looking for --- a gorgeous Toxic Orange Dodge Challenger -- and I did the paperwork to purchase it that same day. Her demeanor, along with her thorough knowledge of the car, made my experience a very happy one. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to buy a car.

I was leasing an Avenger from Chrysler that I originally leased from Buchanan and that experience in 2007 was not a good one so i was hesitant to go back but I did. I was much more satisfied with the experience this time around. Max was the salesman I dealt with and he was friendly and made me feel comfortable. I told him what I wanted and he didn't hesitate to get me moving in the right direction. He wasn't full of bullshit and didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. The Wizard (the finance guy - don't know his name) was also great to deal with. He was very friendly and talkative to us during the process of getting all the paperwork signed. We were in and out fairly quickly and I left with exactly what I wanted and at the right price. My only suggestion for this dealership would be a new paint job on the inside and some new desks and chairs. The place does appear to be straight out of 1970 but the service was great. I would also give kudos to their service department and lube center. They are always very friendly on that side also and are part of the reason I decided to give this dealership another chance.

Jay Lucas was our salesperson. He greeted us after a few minutes on the lot, my wife and I had been browsing the Internet and settled on a Dodge Nitro. We had never been inside or driven one before. Jay immediately took us inside, he did a short interview and then preceded to pull one up front. Before we got on the road, he went over the automobile starting with the engine, then moved around the entire auto. I found Jay to be very thorough he answered all of our questions and of course hilighted all of the pros to this particular auto.My wife although impressed with all of the wonderful options, thought the Nitro was a little small inside.Jay gave us ample time to discuss what we wanted to do. Their was no pressure, and we decided to do a 360 and move completely off of the Nitro onto a Wrangler Unlimited. Jay immediately pulled one up front and again went over the Auto starting the engine. I could tell Buchanan Auto group had a plan to the sales process and Jay followed it to the letter. I also found out that Jay used to be a service manager and knew these cars inside and out. He also seemed to care for us as people not just another sale to meet his monthly quota. After we decided on a Wrangler we moved inside to discuss what we wanted to pay for it.Jay knew I had experience buying cars and flat out asked me what I wanted to pay for the Wrangler. He gave my wife and I ample time to discuss this, after I wrote down my offer, he procceded to take it to the GSM. After a few minutes we had a deal. Now the real fun was about to begin, it was time to get financing. Jay knew from the beginning that our credit was less than perfect. Jennie from their Bankruptcy Recovery program had contacted us a week before and said we could qualify for a new Auto. I really didn't think we could qualify since our Bankruptcy was just discharged in December 2010. We submitted our application and per Jay's recommendation My wife, son and I went to Red Run Grill for Lunch. When we got back we went right in to Talk to Darryl Buchanan's finance manager.Darryl was very flexible during the process and gave us a great deal on financing and a great deal on the price of our lifetime warranty with Chrysler. I really appreciated the flexibility, and ease of purchasing our new Wrangler. This is a credit to the organization. Now I see why have Buchanan has been the #1 dealer for the last 6 years..I strongly recommend this dealer, and of course Mr. Jay Lucas. Happy buying....

We were upside down in the vehicle we were driving. We went to a couple of dealerships who told us it would be impossible to get a new vehicle without a large amount of money down to offset it or an $800/mo payment. This is when we visited Buchanan. The first night we went, coincidentally we arrived right after closing time. Becky came out and greeted us anyway and answered the questions we had that night. We returned a couple of days later when we had more time and bought our first truck that night! No pressure, no hassle, no gimmicks. We got the truck we wanted with the payment we wanted, as previous dealerships had told us was impossible. Becky was very knowledgeable and has a fun personality. I left feeling like we had been good friends for a long time! Actions speak louder than words and some dealerships will leave you high and dry when you buy a new car, you can tell that they care about the sale but not about you. This was not the case with Becky at Buchanan, you could tell that she really cares and not just about the sale, about what is best for you. When leaving the dealership an hour past closing time, she still made sure we knew every detail about every feature before we left. I wish I had visited sooner and will be sure to recommend all my friends! My rating is 10 out of 5 stars! :)

We were looking for a new Dodge Ram 1500 Outdoorsman truck and stopped here because of Buchanan Auto Park's large selection. We had never been here before. Ronnie greeted us and we went for a test drive. He did a great job explaining all the trucks features. We loved the truck so we went home to bring our trade vehicle back in with us. At this time Ronnie was helping some other customers so Becky stepped in to assist us. Becky was super friendly and great to work with. She was not pushy at all. After several unwanted phone calls from the dealership I finally decided to go to the dealershp to see a new Jeep Wrangler. I was told they had several in stock. Once I arrived I was greated by Jay. I was already looking at Wranglers and had found the one I wanted. I asked him to get me the keys so I could see inside. I was informed that before I could look at the vehicle I wanted I had to come inside. Odd, but ok. Once inside it wwas more of an interagtion then them trying to sell me a car. I had to give them all my information, address, phone number and pretty much commit to buying right then and there. Let me remind you this is all BEFORE I was even able to look at the car that I had already found on the lot that I wanted to buy.At this point I had had just about enough. I told Jay that I just wanted to drive the Jeep and I wasn't giving them anymore information. Jay then went to the place where two other men were sitting, I assume to tell them that I wasn't happy with the game that was going on. This is when I first met Kevin. Kevin came down from where he was sitting and informed me that they needed all this information in order to find the vehicle that best suits my needs. I informed him that I had already found the vehicle that fit my needs and I didn't need them to tell me what kind of car I should buy. Enter Chuck. I guess he had been listening to the whole conversation from the "sales tower". (I found out later this is where the two managers sit, it is called the "sales tower") At this point Chuck informed me that if I wanted to do business with Buchanan I was going to do it thier way or I could leave. Not only was this said in a very condescending manner but I feel I 100% that he was trying to intimidate me into buying a car that I had no interest in just so they could make more money.Overall a horrible experience and I have no interest in going back to that place and being treated in the manner that I was. I would recommend everyone stay away from this dealership. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB.

THIS PLACE ROCKS! I just bought my second car from the dealership, AND from the same sales person. I have gotten great finance both times VERY LOW INTEREST RATES to include 1.9%. They sell it the way they advertise it! No bait and switch here! We now own a Dodge Journey and a Dodge Caliber and they come so well equipped standard...and the ride is AWESOME...so comfortable and so safe & secure. They did for me what other dealers said could not be done. I could even compare the information they gave me with Kelly Blue Book and JD Power...straight forward and honest. They're also very kind as well as respectful. Beautiful cars and wonderful people, from the sales floor to the service department and parts department and wonderful financing people. I won't take my cars anywhere else for service and I guarantee you that I'll go to them again when I look for my next car.

I never thought I'd go back to this dealership after a miserable expierence 3 years ago. But I had leased a vehicle through them and the lease was up. I attempted to work with a local dealership Hoffman in Hagerstown, MD. 8 months prior 3 different times however, they were even worse and never followed up.The whole time Buchanan would call and ask me to come down and I really didn't want to, but 1 week before the lease was up I decided to give them a shot. I went online on a Saturday morning picked out 3 vehicles I wanted to test drive, called them confirmed the cars were on the lot and set up an appointment for 1hr later. When I arrived, Max E. Million (sales rep) came right out to greet me. We talked for a few minutes and he grabbed the keys to two of the cars. The first one he opened the door and I said nope not even going to drive it (had driven it before and still was not attracted to it). We went to the second one a 2011 Jeep Patriot Limited 4x4. I was imediately impressed. Max knew everything about the car and we took it for a spin and I fell in love. When we got back he asked if I wanted to drive the third SUV, or one exactly like it (as the one I picked was actually on the showroom floor) I said nope, lets do this one and see what happens.We discussed what I was willing to do he filled out the paperwork (quickly at that), and he gave it to Kevin. Within 20 minutes Kevin came back with "the deal" and it was within my budget so I said lets do it. Within 10 minutes I was in the finance officers office Michele Scott.I was prepared for "the hard sell" at this point believing that things were going way too smooth. When I sat down, Michele proceeded to tell me she had "great news" I laughed thinking "right great news what are you going to try to sell me now". I quickly responded unless its a lower payment its not good news. She said not only is it a lower payment, its a lower down payment and also includes GAP insurance and an extended warrenty for 100k miles / 72 months. I laughed and said whats the catch, and what happened different in 10 minutes. Simply put between the time I was at Max's desk and Micheles desk, another finance company had come in with a better offer which Michele presented to me. I was supprised and kept asking for the catch. LOL there never was one. I was in and out of the office within 2hrs with my brand new SUV.2 1/2 weeks later I got a bill from Chrysler for my old lease. I quickly called Michele, it was late she said she was sure that the bill had been paid but the person responsible was already gone for the day. She said she would call me back the next day, and she did first thing the next morning and confirmed it was paid. Later that day I got another call from Buchanan, my taggs were in. Phenonmenal as this was all during christmas week.I went drove down to Buchanan the next day and when I arrived AGAIN Max imediately came out to greet me, we walked in everyone was smiling greeted me so nicely and were just down right awesome. Max put my tags on and I drove away. All in all I don't why the drastic difference from 3 years prior, but Max, Kevin & Michele, and everyone on the floor and on the phone were fantastic and Buchanan is now "top" on my list and I will recommend them to family, friends and even strangers. Great JOB on turning this dealership around, my hat is off to whom ever took Buchanan Auto Park's dealership in Waynesboro, PA. from a rating of 0 three years ago, to 10+++++. Hoffman Chrysler in Hagerstown, MD take note not only did you drop the ball on me and lost a business opportunity. You were beat out by a dealership I swore 3 years ago I would never step foot in again.

Sale seemed a little rushed and not willing to reduce price of a left over 2010. Dealer did not activate Sirus radio, I had too. All-in all Max is a great person and very knowledgable. we purchased a 2009 Dodge Ram truck and we will be back to purchase additional vehicles in the future.

Other dealerships told me I couldn't get a loan until 3 years after my bankruptcy. Buchanan got me into a very nice 2008 Jeep Compass, that I had picked out as my number 1 choice. I traded a 2008 Chevy Colorado, 4wd pickup. Very good condition, well taken care of, it just didn't get satisfactory gas mileage. I was given a very fair trade-in value, and came away with a very economical car, also with 4wd, less mileage, originally at a 13% interest rate loan. I then got called back the next day, because another lender offered 9%, saving me $2000 in interest, and $30 per month in my payment. Never heard of that before! A dealership calling me back to save me more money. Plus they helped me build my credit back up from bankruptcy. Couldn't be more pleased! I will be recommending them to anyone I know in need of a new vehicle.Thanks to all!

We spoke to Max 3 months before the 2011 Grand Cherokees came out and he knew more about them than anyone. He 'SOLD' my wife one before he had them on the lot. Since his knowledge of my Cummins Ram 2500 was so accurate, we started looking for a dealer with the Jeep meeting the wife's desires and after 4 dealers, found the only one in the area was right there at Buchanan's. When we first checked, someone else was supposed to be buying it, but we got it in the end. Max has been invaluable with his knowledge of the many many vast improvements of the Jeep and we will do our buisiness there as long as he is still there. Chrysler (Jeep) documentation lacks but this vehicle as fun as my 1969 Shelby GT-500 was!!! Max is worth the talk and Buchanan is worth the visit.

I live in martinsburg wv but came all the way out to Buchanan Auto park after speaking on the phone to Ronnie Miley in sales. Earlier I had visited a local dealer in martinsburg regarding the car I wanted and walked away hours later very disappointed. I was hesitant to continue car shopping at that time, but made one more call. Even though Ronnie was such a pleasure to speak to on the phone, I was still a little reluctant to make the drive and chance another bad experience once I got there. Boy was I surprised!
