I came just to look at cars and see how much I could get for my previous car. Not even a mile down the road from the dealership the serpentine belt broke.I had my car toed to the dealership and the guys stayed past 5pm working with us. Everything worked great with my vehicle purchase. My wife found the car she wanted online and I came up to look at it. The sales rep Steve Cousins was friendly and helpful. We looked at the car my wife liked and several others for comparison. I walked away with information about 2 of them and compared the details with my wife. The next day, I came back and bought the one she wanted. The transaction was quick and easy. The finance guy was friendly, did not pressure me for extras I didn't need. It all was smooth, and by the way, the 2017 Ford Escape is great!

Overall the service is great! Byers staff are very nice and my vehicle was serviced on time. However, years ago I purchased a vehicle from the dealership that used to be at the same location and received oil changes free for life, and today, just down the road, another dealership is giving free oil changes for life. For this reason, next time I am going to buy, I will definitely take this into consideration when choosing who to buy from!

So much has changed since our last Byers purchase, a 2007 Camry Hybrid, both jn the buying process as well as in automotive and electronics technology that we needed special care. I spoke to Butch Chipps on the phone that morning on what I was looking for a Ford Fusion hybrid silver in color. So we made an appointment in the afternoon and when we got there the car was waiting for us the color and options and everything. We could believe how Butch and Mark made it happen so quickly. Made the deal with some extra options to be added that same day. We now have a Ford that I have raised up with Ford because my dad worked at Ford Motor Co in Dearborn for 25 years many years ago. My brother worked for a Ford dealership many years ago also. We Love our Ford Fusion Hybrid. I also have a Ford 350.

Justin in service was able to take care of my business needs on a Saturday at closing time by offering a loaner vehicle since mine wouldn't be ready until mid week. In partnership with finance they worked with my warranty to ensure that i was PROPERLY billed even though I was unaware of the benefits. This speaks to your staffs integrity which I value higher than anything else and see so little of in the automotive sales industry. My Ford Explorer would slow down to 5 mph and display a maintenance message and the service engine light would stay lit. I took it Byers where they identified the issue as being a bad Throttle body. It took some time to get the part in which was manufacturing issue. I had an issue with my Ford Escape for 6 months. I took it in to Firestone and AAA carcare, and spent hundreds of dollars and they could not find the problem. I brought it in to Byers and couldn't have asked for better treatment, or service. The problem was diagnosed and fixed, as well as a rattle I have had since I have had the truck, which also was never diagnosed. I was also offered a loaner car, which made taking my car to Byers possible, because I live in Columbus, but work in Delaware. Also Sam was excellent! He was patient and attentive, and it was nice to have someone to contact directly. I plan on bringing my truck back soon for stereo/addtions and will be grateful to take advantage of your loaner car. Thanks for the great service, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I offered everything I wanted in a truck and just a little bit more at a great price. At the dealership, Justin was not pushy or sneaky. we went back and forth a little, but in a friendly way. He wanted to sell it to me and I wanted to buy it. It was the third time for that dealership to sell that truck, and I think everybody involved wanted to same thing. I am very happy so far. I have found a few problems, but nothing major. Now, if the tires or bed doesn't fall off in the next six months all will be well.

2015 f-150.fault. First day tire pressure light said monitor fault. Called set up appointment went back and you didn't have parts. 45 min. one way drive for me. Had to go back again to get it fixed. we took our car here to get fixed it has taken over a week and then they say don't know what exactly was wrong can't tell you which circuit was loose he went through and tighten them all well that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard when you go through and tighten down all the circuits if there was one loose you are going to know because it will tighten up if one doesn't tighten up more then it wasn't loose but yet you cant tell me which one was lives you say it is impossible to know bull crap I am NOT someone that does not understand the vehicles and maintenance I only have service done there because it's under warranty otherwise I do it myself I will never go back there again we are getting ready for vacation and plan on getting another vehicle in a few months I was going to get mine from that dealership but now I will never do anything with them again worst service ever. if I could there would be 0 stars given

I feel like Byers Ford has "been there" for me, from popping in to have my front license plate put on, to reinstalling my wiper blade (after it had pulled away because of ice on the windshield), both of which sales people left the showroom and just came out and took care of for free in a matter of minutes.

Byers Ford provided me with good service on my 2002 Ford Ranger Edge. The heater fan switch failed and I needed it replaced. The final price seemed a little steep, but this was for parts, not in stock, for an older and discontinued model line vehicle, so I'm ok with this. Since the parts were not in stock, Byers provided a lift back home until the parts were delivered and installed, at which point they picked me and returned me to the dealership. Since I was without alternate transportation that day, this was much appreciated.

The service appointment was ok; interaction of service manager could be improved, not very friendly. Another callout in regards to Byers Ford is the lack of car loaners. If I need a service or repair that takes more than a day, I have to find my own means for transportation. This is strange to me, as Byers Kia (which is a couple of miles away from Byers Ford) provides loaners (free of charge) and in one occasion they went out of their way to get my wife a loaner.As for my vehicle, I have a service item where the Air Bag warning light comes on; I already took it once for repair, had to leave the car overnight (with no loaner) and when I picked it up, the light still comes up. During this last service, the light was coming up and the service team never called it out, not that I indicated during setting up the appointment, but if the run a car check, it was obvious that it comes up.At this moment, I have to plan to bring it back in to see if they can fix it, but I have to find a time that I don't need my car (which I need every day for work) as I stated before, no loaners. Very inconvenient.

I had a family emergency and had to change my original appointment and they were squeezing me in first thing. Not even 10 minutes after I got home I received a call. They had it done already. Found the car online, went in and they didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. The price of the car was very competitive for the amount of miles on the vehicle. The back right window didn't work, but they were very helpful and fixed before sending the car to me. I purchased a 2015 Ford Expedition EL. We test drove a regular size Expedition but ended up purchasing the longer version. There was no pressure from the sales staff (John) to purchase the larger vehicle. He helped us understand the differences so we could make our own choice. I expected to be at the dealership for 3 to 4 hours. We were in and out in 2 hours from test drive to ownership. Everyone was friendly. We took our teenage kids. All of the employees spoke to the kids and made them feel at home. I was glad to have the kids with us as part of the experience.

Bought a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. The sales staff allowed me to take the van home for the night, which was great because we are a busy family and the whole crew was able to see it and ride in it. We went out to dinner in it and took the kids to an activity, just like a normal night. Realistic preview - much appreciated. Salesman was knowledgeable, no one was pushy, even the finance guy with the warranties. Great experience!

Jeff was really friendly and went out of his way to get me this car (2012 Fusion, certified pre-owned). He made sure to address my concerns and make me confident with the new investment I was to make. He even attempted to grant my wish to remove a purple pinstripe (small quibble). Later I brought the car in for an oil change (first one is free, great customer service). All of the staff was very helpful with this and wished me the best with the car. My battery was defective and I had to have Roadside assistance start my car. I called Byers Ford and got an appointment to have it fixed at 9:00 am the very next day. I really appreciated such quick service. Everything was as pleasant as possible and there were no surprises. Service manager Rick McGarth explained what was going to happen and everything was quickly done. Salesman Josh Chadwick checked to see if I needed any help, or had any questions. I had to resort to scheduling my appointment online due to the phrase "he's with a customer right now, would you like to leave a message?" I left a message on Saturday morning, did not hear anything back, and finally resorted to going online. Either there needs to be more staff, or use the resources you have to cross train others. Service was great, but strongly recommend making it easier for those calling in as oppose to scheduling online.

Your service was fine, but the person who worked with us when dropping off the car was not pleasant or helpful. He did not speak to me other than to get the basic information. He didn't say good morning, how may I help you, or even ask why I brought the car in. I asked several questions and only got one word answers. Based on my interactions with him, I would choose to go to a dealer farther away rather than come back to yours. However, when I picked the car up, the woman who checked me out was very pleasant and helpful. She answered my questions and was quick and efficient with the paperwork. An entirely different experience, and one that makes me willing to come back to your service department.

No hassle getting in or explaining what I needed done. I added a factory add-on option (remote start)ordered through Ford and simply needed the truck programmed to recognize the remote start option after I installed the kit. No issues and were very fair with the short time needed to complete this install. They understood what I installed and what I needed. It was completed and tested in a short time. Service writers were very personable and friendly. Great group.

Had to have the fuel for replaced on my 2009 Toyota Tacoma. A porition of the hinge had rusted out causing the door to no longer stay closed. Not real impressed with Toyota on that.Brought it in to Byers Toyota and was told that I would need to bring it down to Byers Ford where the body work was done. The work there was excellent. The parts were ordered and several days later was called and told to bring the truck in. Brought it in and was out in 30 minutes. Great service put something I do not feel that I should have had to pay for. Relatively new vehicles having parts rusting out.

I decided to drive my 2002 Ford Ranger into Byers Ford for service after seeing spots on my driveway where my truck usually sits. I immediately suspected a cooling system leak. Sam, the service advisor, along with the mechanic performing the service, thoroughly checked out the radiator and all associated coolant hoses, including a cooling system pressure check to make sure there were no leaks with this 12 year old vehicle that has over 110k miles. Turned out the leak was a false alarm on my part so I chose to have the multipoint inspection, a tire rotation, and oil & filter change in preparation for winter.Additionally, the cheerful service checkout girl provided me with a cup of fresh brewed coffee ... (for free, no less)!! I'll definitely return to Byers Ford for my future service/maintenance needs.

Your representative Josh Chadwick was pleasant and open when we called about the truck we found on line. He helped and set us up with that great truck. Customer service was prompt, however they did act as if I was presenting a situation that was foreign to them. I have had my truck in there for almost every service in the last 1.5 yrs, under a Ford service account with a national leasing company, and have dealt with the same CSR most of the times I am in there, and EVERY TIME they act as if charging the national account, and not me is the most complicated paperwork task they have undertaken.Then after service was complete, they gave me someone else's set of keys.

The Service Group was extremely helpful when I had my 2013 F150 in for a regularly scheduled oil change. The technician noticed a potential issue with the steering and immediately informed me of the problem. The parts/service manager also suggested replacing the brake pads/rotors after feeling a pulsation when driving the truck. All the work was cover by my warranty and they had the parts I needed in stock. Nothing better than having all your service work completed in just a couple days! Highly recommend this dealership for all your parts and/or service needs! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable!

Had never taken a car to a dealership for an oil change. Always to a 20 minute place. Bought the Mustang as a toy and wanted to take extra care of it. 2010 GT. in mint condition with only 13,000 miles. Was time to get the oil changed at 16,000, so I took it to Byers Ford in Delaware, Ohio and they treated me like family. The adviser, Rick, kept me informed on the progress of the car and explained every issue of their finding. The only issue was when they did a tire rotation, noticed that the lug nuts were not a match. Previous owner replaced the security locks with generic lugs. Rick suggested new matching ones, so I agreed. They did not have them in stock, had to them order. Rick called me the next morning with the new lugs and replaced them as soon a I brought the car in. I walked out of the service dept. with a smile on my face, Great people, great operation.Joe Pusateri, Delaware, Ohio.

I recently purchased a 2014 Ford Escape and BIll Wedd was my salesman. It was a true pleasure to work with Bill as he was a gentlemen, and was professional and courteous. I had been looking at purchasing a new vehicle for a few months but the timing just wasn't right for various reasons. Bill was very patient and simply said to "look him up" when I was ready. I found a vehicle on the website and call Bill about it. I left him a message and he promptly returned my call and said that he would have the vehicle ready for me at the time I stated. When I arrived, Bill had the car ready for me. Before driving the car, Bill gave me the 'run-down' on it and was very courteous. If he didn't know the answer to a question, he was honest about it and said that he would get an answer for me. I really appreciated his honesty! My husband met me at the dealership and was present while we were working through the 'numbers'. He had a couple questions and Bill answered them. Other than that, my husband was impressed with the fact that Bill spoke directly to me, as the potential buyer. I was also impressed with that. All to often, women are not taken seriously when purchasing a car. It took us a couple of days to make the deal, which is not uncommon. Bill realized that this was a tough decision for me because I had my previous vehicle for seven years and had become quite fond of it. He was patient and understood my situation. He even made a comment about how we become "one" with our vehicles. I apologized to Bill for taking so long and he made a statement that put me at ease and I knew I was working with the right person. Bill said that he believed I did my 'due diligence' and that he respected me for it. WOW - what a statement!! This was the fourth vehicle we've purchased at Byers and I hope to continue the relationship. Thanks, Bill for making this a positive experience!

Over the years I have had many new cars. But I will tell you I have never had a better group of people to work with then at Byers Ford. David Rabourn(Salesman), Kathy Rigney(Internet) and Bill Thorpe(Business Manager). I wont tell names but Byers was the fifth dealership that I went to when I was thinking about trading in my KIA RIO. They were they great people to work with and none of the other dealerships came close to the deal that Byers Ford gave me.

I purchased a new Ford Edge off the showroom floor, the sales staff was pleasant the Finance department was helpful. No problems with my buying experience. Then you deal with the service department, and you never want to buy at Byers again. Mark in service is the customer liaison and by far the most rude and condescending person, I have EVER dealt with. Even the most simple of repairs seemed to be an exercise in frustration. Not a single repair ever completed correctly the first time. Many problems with Synch system. Mark always blamed problem on our smart phone. Decided not to use smart phone and problems persisted, then Mark blamed problems on not using smart phone. By his logic don't buy a Ford unless you own a smart phone. Power Steering went out of vehicle while under warranty. Took 2 days to repair, within a week power steering went out again. Mark rude and uncaring on phone with my wife even though she was stranded. We had the vehicle towed to another Ford dealer. They discovered, the power steering repair that was done stripped out a fitting on the power steering causing the pump to leak and then fail. On top of that Byers had improperly installed the oil cap during the oil change which resulted in engine being coated in oil. The other dealer had never seen such shoddy work. They even apologized for Byers poor service and Power washed the engine to remove all the oil as a courtesy. Byers should really evaluate who they have in their service department. After all, once the buying experience is over the face of the Dealership is the service Department. My experience at Byers Ford service was so bad, I decided to sell my Mustang as well as Trade in the Edge. Byers is my local Dealer and only Local Ford service. I will never buy again from Byers Ford due only because of my service experience.

I just leased a 2014 Ford Fusion. I saw it when I walked in the showroom and knew it was what I wanted. I worked with John Grijak and the process was very easy and seamless. I turned a car I had leased from another dealership early, and John was able to work everything out much easier and quicker than I had planned. I was in a time crunch and he worked around my schedule to ensure I was taken care of. He took the time to go over all the features of the car with me and everything was ready to go when I pulled off the lot. John and Byers have definitely earned a customer for life.

After calling I drove up to byers on a sat. (which was an hour drive) for a car I found online. When I got there josh chadwick helped me, he is a very nice salesman, we test drove the car and I really liked it but they were getting ready to close so I took it home for the night and as I was bringing it back the next day my husband noticed something wrong with it (which they said they would fix), after a week of going back and fourth on a deal I told josh I would be in after I came back from vacation to sign papers I later learned they sold the car while I was on vacation to another dealership and how I found out was my daughter found it on another website, I am very upset that they would do this after going back and fourth trying to work out a deal. my family has always dealt with byers and this would have been my first time which was not a very good one The only way I think I would go back is if they were to get that car back for me.

I just wanted to share with everyone the absolute best experience I have ever had in purchasing a truck. After the purchase of my 2014 Raptor Super Crew from John Grijak, I ordered a toneau cover for my truck through the parts department and our crazy Ohio weather delayed the delivery. My salesperson came on his own time and personally delivered and installed my toneau cover at my home, over 2 hours away after driving through some wicked weather. My son will be in the market soon as he turns 16 and I will not hesitate to come see John and Byers, regardless of the distance. The fact that he met and far surpassed any expectations I have ever had about sales professionals tells me that Byers has a true gentleman working for them. I am and continue to be impressed with him as this is both my first truck and my first domestic automotive purchase. Again, thank you Byers for allowing John Grijak to take care of me. I recommend him highly to everyone that reads these reviews.

My ford focus with 160,000 miles on it officially died yesterday. Today Josh Chadwick and the dealership finance guy worked hard to meet both my finance and auto needs. Josh cared about my stated budget and didn't try to entice me into what I couldn't afford. He well explained my options and his confidence that we would find the right car at the right price decreased my stress. I purchased a great used focus with 23,000 miles on it.

I just recently purchase a vehicle from Byer's Ford. My sales person was Cuyler Rigney. He truly impressed me with how determined he was to find the perfect car for me. I went in and fell in love with a specific car, but it did not fit my payment needs, disappointed I left and didn't really think twice about getting into any other car. Later that evening I received a phone call from Cuyler. He took time out of his day to call me and let me know that they just got a car on their lot that would work awesome for me. I went in later that week, test drove it... wasn't too sure if I was IN LOVE like I was with the last car and then, yet again Cuyler being so awesome, shared the better perks with me. Cuyler wasn't pushy at all, his main concern was finding me a nice, safe car, that would last me a long time, not to mention finding something that would fit in my financial needs. He is young, but he definitely knows how to make someone feel great about purchasing a new car! I now recommend Cuyler to EVERYONE! Not only was my sales person awesome, but the finance guy, Derek Newland was very helpful as well, answered all questions I had! I left Byer's Ford feeling great about my new car!

A couple of weeks ago I was in the middle of a 5 1/2 hour trip from Michigan to Ohio pulling a horse trailer and heading to adopt a special equine buddy from New Vocations Race Horse Rescue Organization. About 10 miles out of Delaware, I noticed my battery gauge moving down and a mile later, all my gauges totally went flat. My breathing became shallow and I could feel panic closing in - it was about noon on Saturday, I made it off the highway to a gas station and a good samaritan helped to diagnosis that I had a bad alternator and recharged my battery. I looked on the internet and Byer Ford was only a few miles down the road and I anxiously called and the reception desk was very calming and helped connect me to the service department. They said they would get me in and checked and found they had my alternator in stock (Thank you God)! Now I just had to get there. I started down the road and in about 5 miles, lost my gauges again and pulled over to another gas station and got another battery jump and on a wing and a prayer, made it to the service entrance at the Ford dealer where my truck stalled. In a little over an hour, I was back on the road, with a fully functional vehicle. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You turned a panic situation into a good story that i'll never forget!

No help from Salesperson or dealership after having several problems after only 7 months owning costing me over$1200 of repairs. this was a 2002 ford with under 57000 miles. One owner clean Title great Service Dept, Inspection.I will not go back to this dealer ever again, Never ever had a follow up by Salesperson must have known vehicle was Junk. Thanks for your Help Byers Ford. Your Extented Warranty also is a Joke.

From the moment I had made Contact with Josh Chadwick at Byers I was taken care of. I had a lot of desires in a vehicle, and I was not willing to settle. Josh would not either until I was happy. He went over and beyond to make me feel good through the whole process. The finance team and others I met while at Byers were also fantastic. I was in the market to replace my Ford Escape after a job transfer tripled my weekly commute. I contacted Byers Ford where I purchased it from and spoke to a salesperson, John Grijak. I let him know what I wanted and what I was not willing to pay for. He located the perfect replacement for me that was both within my budget and had everything I wanted. They were very fair in the trade value and I drove home in my new Escape in about an hour. The sales and finance department worked within my schedule to streamline the delivery process and I have to say I am very impressed with my 2013 Ford Escape. This is the fifth vehicle my family has purchased from Byers Ford since August 2011 (Me, my fiance, my mom, my dad, and me again) and my lease is almost up on our second car. I went to Byers Ford yesterday to have the front plate holder put on my Ford C-Max. I was greated as I entered the showroom by the sales associate that helped me with the purchase of my car. He was very friendly, asked about how I like my car so far, and worked quickly to have my plate holder attached. While I was waiting, the finance manager met me and also asked about my satisfaction about my car. I am very impressed with how responve the employees are to their customers, and that I was made to feel welcome. Thank you for great service!

From the time my Wife and I walked up to the doors to the time we left with our new F150 there was no pressure to buy, no hard sales tactics, and no run around that i've had at other dealers. They showed us many different finance options, broken down so you know exactly where every penny is coming from, not just the monthly payment. I just have consistently bad visits. When my car was towed there after it broke down, by Ford, it was delivered to the wrong part of the car lot and Byers would not take care of it because it was not dropped to the correct side of the parking area. I had to arrange for it to be towed again. It was a new car, with a stupid defect, and I had to go without my car for nearly a week, but couldn't get a loner car because none were available. Every service visit I have gone to I have had to wait long periods of time for them to figure out that the visit is covered by warranty. Each time I am billed and then have to re-explain, sit and wait, and then get it figured out. This time, I got a 'zero' estimate for my car door handle being broken (written estimate-which I still have), which made me assume it was under warranty. Then I drop it off, my reservation is lost, though they do manage to get me in. But, when I pick it up, I am charged $140. I explain the warranty and am asked to wait. 45 minutes later I am told it isn't covered.

I accidentally went to Byer's Ford when the car I wanted to look at was at Byer's Toyota. Scott Kravitz found a similar car on their lot for me to look at and while I thought it was OK, I still wanted to look at the car on the Toyota lot. Scott took me over and we test drove that car. That car was a creampuff and there was a lot of resistance from the Toyota sales staff about letting someone from the other dealership sell it. They had someone else ready to purchase it, but Scott was able to get me in ahead of them and I got the car. Thanks for your help, Scott!
