I live in WV and found Byers Volvo through the USAA car buying service. I found that the pricing was honored according to the USAA service. However, the sales person who followed up said, "Let's be sure you have the right paperwork before you drive 2 hours to pick up the car." When I followed up with another dealer--- in Winston Salem, NC (FOUR hours from me)--- the sales person IMMEDIATELY told me, "We have door-to-door delivery so don't worry about it. I'll bring it to you." Word of advice--- lead with the big guns--- price & service.

First off Dustin Styler was the most responsive person I've ever dealt with when purchasing a vehicle. He was also very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He answers emails so quickly and even on his days off, how great is that ?! I purchased a preowned Volvo XC90 and the buying experience was exceptional. There were a few issues that we requested to be examined and considered and all were resolved to our satisfaction. Their service representatives were also very professional and took their time to discuss and find answers to my concerns. I will be happy to return in the future.

Our 1998 Volvo was involved in an auto accident and we needed to locate another vehicle. It was stressful being forced into a position to have to purchase a vehicle due to an accident, as we were not planning on making a vehicle purchase, and had not purchased a car in 18 years. We looked around at many models and conducted a lot of research trying to decide if we were going to buy another Volvo, and just wanted to compare what else was out there in the way of other models. The person that rear-ended my vehicle damaged the vehicle in a way that left me safe in the cabin area, and I know that I avoided serious injury from being in my 1998 S70. As part of our research, I visited the Byers Volvo website to check what Certified/Pre-Owned vehicles were available and received a quick email response back from Dustin. I already had a relationship with the service department and trusted them from servicing out S70 and 940 in the past, so I also called the service department and spoke with Chris who had answered the phone. I told him about our situation, hoping we could possibly check into getting our vehicle towed to their body shop for repairs, but since found out from the insurance company it was most likely a total. I told Chris about an XC60 I saw on the Byers website and he went out to the lot to look at it and gave me details about it's history and what a great vehicle it was and how well it had been taken care of. After talking with Chris at length and him patiently answering all of my questions, my husband and I decided we wanted to look at it and Chris put us back in touch with Dustin who had originally emailed us about the XC60. We went to Byers and met with Dustin. He took a lot of time showing us all the features of the XC60 and answered all of our questions. After driving it and seeing all the functionality and the quality of the vehicle, we knew it was the one for us. It far exceeded our expectations and stood head and shoulders above all the other vehicles we had looked at. It was an easy choice. Dustin worked with Ralph and they found us a great interest rate and the whole process went very smoothly. Dustin and Ralph were both wonderful to work with and Dustin even connected our iphones to the bluetooth and demonstrated additional features of the navigation and how to control the system from the steering wheel. We are so pleased to have found this fabulous Volvo and so happy we will be continuing our relationship with their top notch service department. Everyone I have encountered at Byers in the service, sales, and finance department have been fantastic. Chris, Dustin, and Ralph made this a very smooth transaction. We couldn't be happier, and know that they value their customers. It's a great feeling to know you made the best choice and have no regrets. Volvo for life!!!!

I've purchased several vehicles in my life, all from dealerships. From a Nissan (Murano), Toyota (Venza and Camry) and a Ford (Explorer). My decision to go with Volvo, specifically the XC90 was due to its high safety ratings, style, good reviews and dependability. Once I made the decision on my next vehicle I chose Byers Volvo in Columbus. Dustin Styger was exemplary throughout the entire buying process. His attention to detail, knowledge of the vehicle and process along with his follow through and follow up made the entire buying process virtually seamless. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle I felt as if I was given the red carpet treatment. I was greeted and welcomed by other employees at the dealership when I arrived. Dustin put me in the drivers seat and took his time to thoroughly explain my new vehicle, every button, option and feature so when I drove off the lot I was comfortable with my new vehicle and my decision. In addition, the finance director also did an exemplary job in explaining my options and creating a seamless, enjoyable experience. My experience with the purchase of my XC90 and Byers Volvo of Columbus was second to none. They have won a customer for life!

When purchasing our Volvo in April 2015 we were told there would be no more blue SUV's available. The salesman checked invoices and reported Byers would not be getting another SUV this color. There was an option we were interested and the car we were looking at did not have the automatic rear tailgate feature. The salesman stated he had located one in Conn. but they were unwilling to bring the car to Ohio. Understandably. Two weeks later, upon returning to the dealership to pick up our car, there is another blue SUV sitting on the lot. Initialy, we thought it was ours until they brought ours around from the back of the store. Secondly, we purchased an extended warranty. Later we found out it was not a Volvo warranty but a generic warranty that we had purchased. We were able to upgrade to the Volvo warranty however with an undisclosed clause requiring a fee everytime the extended warranty was used. We got it again. On the day of delivery of our car, I purchased the all weather mats. Guess what they gave us after the purchase. A 15% off coupon for the mats and other accessories. I took our car in for a ten thousand mile check. I reported a grinding noise to the service manager. Upon completion of the service, I was provided an explanation regarding the source of the noise and repair was provided. On my 3 hour drive home the grinding noise returned. I called the next day to report the same problem and surfaced again and was told they would tell someone. Again, I cannot drop by and have them to check. I live 3 hours away. Recently, on Friday May 16, I took my Volvo in for the 20 thousand mile check. I reported the car was pulling. They located problem and I was told with my husband present the cost would be 47 dollars. I received a charge to my Visa for 152. 74. I called and spoke with service advisor regarding the charges He stated I told him to spin balance the tires. Both my husband and I were there not recalling that part of the conversation. We were never told of the price for that service. I was told only the charge for the 47.00 dollars and was in agreement. I furthur asked what the 30.00 misc. charge was for and was not given an answer. The service advisor said I was given a senior citizen discount. The gentleman was very nice and helpful. He did everything he could to have the car serviced secondary to their call offs. However, neither my husband or I recall giving the go ahead for a spin balance that we didn't know the cost. I don't know if my vehicle needed a spin balance. I thought we were getting a wheel alignment for the indicated tire. Oh well. I am full aware of the "free service" and how you make your money. The standing joke is the 500.00 Volvo oil change. I have been driving Volvos since 1984. I am now on my 6th Volvo. Talk about loyalty. It doesn't mean a thing. It is my fault , I need to be smarter about my car. I have continued to be a Volvo customer secondary to the integrity of the company I have relied on for many years. I am wondering if the integrity of the company is falling short. You got me this time , You will not get me again. I will be smarter.

My car broke down over the weekend so I dropped it off on Monday before the Service Department was opened, so I had no appointment. I needed to have my car fixed and a ride coordinated so that I could get to a doctor's appointment by a certain time. They had my car ready quickly and I was able to get to my appointment. The service department is always spotless and very organized with very courteous staff. I'm very pleased with Byer's Volvo and their service department.

If you've ever flown on a plane in 1st class, if given the choice most would choose that option again and again. That's what auto service at Byers Volvo is like, its flying 1st class! Somehow you just don't want to ever go back to coach. Our pilot is Shawn Bell. He keeps our vehicles riding smoothly and lands great service every time. Captain Tom and pilot Bob are great too. We have two Volvos that we only service at Byers Volvo. We have a 1998 S70 and a 1993 940. We are the original owners and highly recommend Byers Volvo. Everyone in the service department is wonderful and very helpful. They take the time to explain everything and answer all of your questions. If you keep up with service and take it where they know Volvos, your cars will last. There is a reason that both cars have over 250,000 miles and just keep on going.

I enjoyed my buying experience right until the very end. Tom Ford, the salesperson, was very helpful and extremely pleasant to work with. I believe he found the right balance to serve both me and Byers Volvo. He also adapted to a digital conversation as we did not meet until I picked up the car. Most of our conversations happened over email and text. However, my experience was soured when I worked with the finance manager, Dave. Granted, we ended up being at the dealer an hour past closing. I am sure he would have preferred to be elsewhere. But, I found him to be very smug and arrogant. I witnessed very rude and demonstrative behavior towards Tom and not supportive of him when he was absent. His dealings with me seemed to serve his needs much more than mine. The good news - there is at least another finance manager. If you are interested in purchasing at Byers Volvo ask for someone else.

Good friendly , knowledgeable service people. Did not like the fact that I had a 10% off "all services" coupon from Byers Volvo and they didn't want to honor it due to the service being "done by an outside vendor " at their shop , on a service they offered me, and charged me , and I paid Byers for. I did get it honored, but was a bit of a hassle , and telling me that they make no money on those type of offered services at their shop, which I do not believe. Other than that, great service as always.

With this being our first Volvo (purchased from another dealer 02/14), we're still having to adjust to what is "normal" customer care and service in their (Volvo's) opinion. This IS NOT how American car companies have treated their customers for the last several decades, and frankly, it's somewhat jarring to be treated like a truly valued consumer. Byers has been "spot on" when it comes to this type and level of service. Rob in service is always friendly, helpful, and knows what the status of our vehicle is within 1-2 minutes of answering my call, if he doesn't already know right when we start our conversation. The only thing below outstanding is that the dealership itself could use a larger physical footprint.

The Volvo service team is exceptional in every aspect! I am greeted both professionally and warmly by all of the staff. My concerns are addressed, questions are answered and service is completed in a timely fashion. Most recently I required a loaner and felt pretty special driving off in one of the team's personal cars! WOW!! What a great introduction to another model that I have never driven!! Very impressed!! One more reason to continue my long history (20+years) with Byers. I can honestly say, the service has 'amped up' over the years to become what I perceive as, first rate, comparable to only the best! The Service Staff in the Service Garage are the most customer service oriented...always let you know what will be done, what costs will be covered, how long it will take.....and then once completed they review everything with you thoroughly....This is always a positive experience. 'tis I, again. I have met former service and maintenance workers who have retired from Byers visiting in the service area and they remember me! They should because I have been coming to Byers since 1968 ever since I bought my first car (144S) there. I phoned for an appointment to counter a future problem plus an upcoming needed oil change. Shawn and Bob both checked the previous work that had been done and recommended a pre-scheduled maintenance job. Looking further into the car's history (S60 at 2007), they noticed the timing belt had never been changed. Shawn recommended that it should be taken care of and Bob provided a car so that I would not be inconvenienced. This pre-emptive problem that was foreseen by Shawn and one that I had foreseen made me appreciate the quality of Byer's CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I brought my car in for my 10,000-mile oil change, tire rotation, and software update, and I also needed them to look at a tire sensor that was sending me false alarms and rough/pronounced downshifting at low speeds. The lounge was comfortable, although I found the coffee rather weak (I'm not docking a star for that). In addition to getting my car maintenance done quickly, they also took her through their complementary carwash and vacuumed the interior. My concerns about the car were minor, but they fixed them quickly and well, and my car downshifts better than she did on Day One. The people who worked there were professional, courteous and very personable.

Best reliable, honest service department for Volvo cars I've ever experienced. Bob always lets me know what to expect, and is more than willing to discuss any questions I might have. He makes sure that the service is complete, done properly, and on time. We have had our Volvos (C70 and XC60) serviced at Byers for the past 6 yrs and one thing I like is being able to work (remotely) from their facility. I do not have to worry about missing important conf calls or emails. Their facility is welcoming, clean and comfortable. I never have an issue when we visit.

Brand new 2016 XC90, had a manufacturing defect with the driver's door, where it wouldn't always latch on the first attempt to close. Shawn said he would make sure we were taken care of whenever we could bring it in, and that's what happened. Service couldn't reproduce the problem (it was intermittent, so that's understandable), so replaced the entire door latching mechanism to be safe. Problem solved!

Byers Volvo does have a great service department. This is the 3rd time I've had my car towed there since the middle of August and I'm happy with the service and the quality of the repairs. I do have a problem with being told that "we'll try to" re-epoxy my passenger side rear view mirror and having it suggested to me I replace the part for $120. The epoxy lasted 7 years so why wouldn't epoxy work for another several years. I also don't care for being told of things that should be replaced "by the next oil change". When it breaks, it'll get fixed. Bob does not do this to me, which is why I prefer to work with him, but the others do. Even though they are super nice, I find it very irritating. I will continue to bring my cars to Buyers Volvo, and I will be buying my next car from Byers Volvo (because I love my car!) but I really cringe at this aspect of the service. Thanks so much!

wow service. you never get any less when you use byers service. service writer shawn bell always takes wonderful care f me and my needs. I had my car detailed there rather than at a place that onlydoes this because I knew I could count on them. I purchased a used vehicle and there were tree sap on the fenders. guess what they are now gone! shawn being the vigilent guy he is and always providing extra service found a rock had hit my windshield where I could not see it, it was real iffy. because of his vigilance I was able to have the windshield repaired when it only cost me $50.00 instead of paying a large deductible for a replacement windshield. thanks shawn and byers

I bought my car through the OSD at Byers and have taken it in for service due to a recall for a new fuse. Byers made it fast and painless in both circumstances. The people there are professional, yet friendly, and they don't come off as the stereotypical car salesmen. They took plenty of time with me and were patient while I took my time on making my buying decision. When I brought my car in to have the fuse replaced due to a recall, they scheduled me at MY earliest convenience, they repaired it well and even vacuumed and washed my car. The people in the repair shop were communicative and very nice and didn't take any longer than was needed to do the repair. And that's why I gave them five stars--Byers worked hard to earn them.

Every time I take my car in for service I have a great experience. This time didn't need much, a headlight bulb and a couple of batteries for my keys. The great service started as soon as i called. I asked it I could come in that day "around 1:00" and they said sure. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. I noticed that even the other customers waiting are friendly and i think that is because of the atomosphere in the service center.

Just went in for a tire rotation. Mentioned I needed new wipers and asked how much would it be. The car only has 11 thousand miles and I found out my wipers would be replaced at no cost because of my extended warranty. What a pleasant surprise 50 to 60 dollars saved. . The service is always great and the service department is professional and very attentive. My complaint is the TV in the lounge on Fox News where I had to hear yelling from their own conflicts, politician bashing, etc. If you are going to have a news station on, please select one a bit more professional and unbiased. The shooting was difficult enough without hearing the arguments over gun control. I walked around the show room, went outside, came back in and it was still going on. I like waiting for my car but will now have to make other arrangements as this was the last time I want to hear this for an hour.

My experience with the service department is always very good. My volvo is a 2001, so I've been there a lot. Last Friday they really went above and beyond. My car had started running rough, and the check engine light was intermittently flashing. It was Friday afternoon... and we were going out of town that evening. I brought my 2004 Volvo S80 in for the 112K routine check-up. The staff found a huge chunk missing from the sidewall of my tire, and found the tie-rod needed to be replaced as well. They did the extra repairs, got two new tires, and did the routine check-up promptly, I appreciate the fact that they look over the whole car, not just the parts I ask to have serviced. They kept me informed every step of the way, and even called to notify me that I had left my house keys behind on the cashier's counter after I paid for the car. Sean was my point person for this visit, but Bob is also very helpful.

Byers Volvo has the very best service department and auto repair in the industry. The others don't even come close. The facility is state-of-the-art, the repair people have the lastest training and the service advisors have superior knowledge and customer service skills. My regular service advisor is Shawn Bell, I trust him to advise me on any repairs that may be needed. Bob in the Service Dept takes care of my car as if it was his. Always all of the required maintenance is explained before the service is started and when I pick up the car, the findings are also reviewed. I don't use the loaner service often but it is always offered. I appreciate the coupon discounts and that I never get a "hard sell" on anything. I used to only drive BMWs but the Volvo experience has changed my mind.

Byers Volvo service is wonderful. They know my name, they always work with me, they are always helpful, and they always make everything easy and convenient. I have even called with an issue and they have told me to just bring it on in and they will fix it right away. You get personal service at Byers that is just not the standard in companies today. The customer is important is the impression I get every time I am in. When my car will be in for any length of time they always ask/provide a car for me to use (this is amazing). We also own another brand car and I asked about this service and they told me that a rental car agency was next door. They take time, they do great work, they treat customers with respect, and they do everything possible to make sure the customer feels important. When I think about trading my Volvo in, I am aware of the service I have with them, and I keep the car.

Our new XC 70 (250 miles) was damaged when a car backed into us. Took car to Byers who quickly and professionally helped us--ordered new bumper parts. Within days the parts were in and we scheduled appointment for the repair. A loaner car was made available to us and 3-4 hours later our car was repaired and good as new. The staff at Byers are friendly, professional and very helpful. We did purchase our 2015 XC70 from Byers (our 4th XC70) because they have always been very fair and professional in our dealings.

My experience with Byers has been wonderful since the day I bought my used 2003 Volvo S60 from them! The Service Department is without question the fairest, most professional, and trustworthy that I've ever dealt with in my life (I'm 42), and I say that having worked in a Lincoln/Mercury & Kia Service Departments personally. A intermittent issue with my A/C was the reason for my most recent visit, and Tim & Bob were outstanding in empathizing with my frustration regarding the issue. The stellar Techs found the issue, and also found an issue that I wasn't aware of while preparing to replace my tires. Although I was in a panic, scared of what it would cost me, they were able to help out a little on cost, and now I am confident that all is well again with my Volvo. Every person I've ever met or dealt with at Byers Volvo, and their used car Department has been cordial, friendly, and professional. I have had an on-going issue with my AC for two years and the Byers service staff did not give up until they found and resolved the issue. Shawn and Tim, along with the rest of the team, are very professional and knowledgeable. The service team followed up with me for several weeks to make sure the problem was fixed, kept me posted on the status while the work was being done on my car and even drove us to the airport when we left for our trip. They really care about their clients and provide them with the best customer service.

This was my first time here for service since moving to OHIO. We had originally stopped to check out the dealership when we first moved here in November and was impressed. We talked to the service manager. He welcomed us to Ohio and to Byers Volvo. He answered all our questions and took our info to be a customer. Byers is the only place I will take my Volvo to be serviced. We have also taken our Dodge truck to Byers Dodge for service and the auto shop for repairs after someone hit our truck at the airport garage. We recommend Byers Volvo and Byers Dodge.

After a quick web search, we found RALPH MARCUM at Byers which is about a three hour drive from Indianapolis. We sent him an email explaining what we were looking for and received a response right away. Two days later, we reached agreement on the terms for our new Volvo. The following weekend, we picked up our car and delivery was prompt and thorough. Topping things off, we had a great experience exploring the city and nightlife.

My wife and I have had the very best service from Byers Volvo, from shopping, making a selection, the purchase itself, and servicing, they're a first class organization with top level talent throughout. Working with Ralph Marcum, the sales process was educational and informative, overall the experience was basically fun as opposed to the traditional grind and stress of making a decision and negotiating a deal. We recently purchased our second Volvo from Ralph, with the first car the service department was fully stocked with very helpful and knowledgeable staff that always communicates very well what's going on, and what they need to do to to remedy a situation. Having complimentary loaner cars is beyond convenient, especially when dealing with the logistics of work and family that's very accustomed to a 2 car based routine. Overall we highly recommend Byers Volvo.

I brought in my daughter's 2004 s80, it was making front end noises and the abs light remained on. She loves the car but 150k miles on it she put a limit on how much she would put into it to repair. I discussed that with Sean and he said he would evaluate and let me know if it was within our budget. They discovered a problem with the axle and that somehow affected the the abs light as well. they gave me the estimate and it fell within our guidelines so we had the work done. So far the car is working well and my daughter is happy. If she is happy than I am happy.

Plastic cover over seat control buttons had been replaced back in fall and very soon after was hanging loose. Procrastinated for numerous months to bring in for a fix (no appointment necessary) and Shawn arranged for the part to be replaced under warranty. Our 2007 XC70 had some serious issues in the fall which were handled in fine fashion by Shawn and Bob at Byers. The problems went undiagnosed for some time by a "lesser" auto shop (non-dealer) and Byers literally averted a crisis when the car came in for an unrelated repair. Many thanks to the whole service department. Just visited Shawn again for a routine oil change and check-up and all's well. I've learned my lesson regarding Volvo's and non-Volvo service organizations. Truth is, is doesn't cost any more to go 1st class - at least with Volvo service.

Lets start with I hate online reviews but once in a while you need to do them and sing praise. That praise goes to Bob in the service department at Byers. He keeps you up to date on repairs and makes sure that you understand whats going on with your car. I was told by a friend to "make sure you get a second opinion!' No need with Bob as I trust he will do the right thing. Its a relationship business and I value his honesty. You have to know, like and trust people and I do with Bob.

I had a problem with the lift-gate on my 2015 XC60R. It would not close and lock. The service department diagnosed the issue (software) and the problem was solved. I appreciated the prompt service, as I could not lock the vehicle if the lift-gate was not locked. I can always depend upon Sean in Service for taking care of any issues or questions I have. This is my third Volvo from Byers, and a major reason for my return business is the excellent service experience.

When I was rear-ended recently, they gave me a prompt estimate, dealt with the other insurer, and performed the repairs quickly and perfectly. They provide an estimate of the cost of service, and also offer a loaner car. When I purchased my c70 I cringed when they told me the only place to get it serviced or repaired was the dealer. But it was too late to back out of the sale! Well from the beginning Byers Volvo has been a delightful customer service experience. They do not come any finer than Shawn Bell. I have never had a car experience like this one and the nicest thing is hearing other folks who are waiting exclaim the same thing, Shawn Bell is always doing something above and beyond what is expected. I always have a good experience at Byers Volvo. This trip I had some unusual serious problems. I received very prompt and courteous service as usual. However there were two occasions they were to get back with me, or return my call, when it didn't happen for the whole day. I know they were busy, and short a man up front, but when you're anxiously waiting to here, all day is a long time. I had to call back and wait again for them to return my call. When I went to pick up my car, all was real congenial but they were again too busy to ring us out. After five or ten minutes, we were told we could leave a credit card number if we didn't want to wait fifteen more minutes, and they would call that day with the amount charged. Well, that never happened, and when we checked our account two or three days later, we found charges for two hours labor. To run a diagnostic, and down load a free soft wear, as I declined all repairs ,as the were more than I could afford or wanted to put in to it at this time. Still great service and parts department. It seamed to me that most of the guys up front had a lot of calls on their cells when they, or the others, were VERY busy.

Yesterday I had a problem with my car and could not get the gear to engage so I couldn't move my car. I called Byers Volvo for help. I had never been to Byers Volvo before this episode. Tom "walked" me through the process of getting the gear to engage. However, if I would have been unable to get my car to Byers----they were prepared to drive to my home to get my car started and to the dealership. The people working at Byers had no way of know if I would ever come to their dealership again. All they knew was that I had a Volvo and I was having a problem that needed to be solve. Since I moved here from Chicago I had some difficulty finding Byers. Tim was ever so calm accepting my phone calls and giving me directions. When I arrive everyone assured me that they would fix my car and I was not to worry as I was safely at the right place. THE PEOPLE AT BYERS VOLVO EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS and I want to thank each one of them for their service and commitment of me as an owner of a Volvo.

I had all but given up on this car. I had bought this 2000 Volvo S70 for my sister In-law and had hoped it would be the last car she would ever need since she really does"t drive that much. I bought the car as is which sould have been a warning to me of what I was getting into. The car had to have a tune-up, brakes and belts which I had no problem with. The electrical problems were another matter. Every couple of days or weeks something would seem to go wrong. The car was put in the shop more times than I would like to admit. I had numerous items replaced or repaired. But the last three months was the worst. I thought nothing else could possibly go wrong. But it did. The battery would die about every week. I tried just about everytthing to correct the problem. I removed the fuse to the radio, turned off the trunck light, tape over the glove box switch and got a new battery. Nothing worked! I finally decided to take it to Byers Volvo. From the min I handed them the keys they were confident that they would find the problem. Long story short. I'll never take that car anywhere again but Byers.

The Byer's service department has always gone the extra mile for us. We live 100 miles south and we can not get service anywhere near what you have given us. I will probably never be without this present S80. When the time comes we will simply buy another.I called for this last service and "BOB" was able to work me in the very next morning. SUPER! My appointment was at 8:30, I was there at 7:50 a.m. and Bob met me in the parking lot. We had a nice both courteous and professional conversation and my service work began right there on the spot. I had my 2004 V70R in for some warranty repairs on service that I had paid for previously. (leaking oil seal) They gave me a loaner while replacing the part which failed. While traveling from Cincinnati to Philadelphia the check engine light went on following a stop for coffee. Quickly located Byers, the closest Volvo dealership, using Google. Thank you Tom in service for taking the time to test drive my wife's car with one of your mechanics to figure out the noise which stopped just as we pulled in. Come to fined out it was a major part that could have cause the entire engine to fail costing thousands of dollars. They found it, repaired it on the stop, and saved us from being stranded on the roadside. I can not say enough about Tom and Bob in service. They treat you like a true friend!

I would like to see an explanation of what was done and items replaced, e.g. air filter instead of a code which means nothing to me.. Tom, Bob, Shawn, now Tim form a welcoming and friendly team. Even the three different receptionists speak with pride and respect. This opinion comes from decades of customer service I have received here. My car needed maintenance work to which I added several items that were not included in the check list: clock, windshield noise, back of car noise. All these were checked and identified. Parts were ordered and an estimate was given. After work was completed, the bill reflected the thorough job which was done. Luckily, a discount was given! Byers is the only place I take my car for maintenance (and past purchases). Everything is outstanding!

I am always apprehensive working with auto services because I am female. So many times, the explanations of the repair needed and described are vague. There is a lack of trust in those relationships. In the past, even a simple oil change developed into a huge expense because the service people stated that additional supplies were necessary. I am fortunate to have a local shop that treats me with respect in that regard and we have had that trust for years. I can say same of Byers service shop. Many times in the past, I have had an issue and called Joe to explain the problem. If he had a remedy, he shared and many times, I did not need to bring the vehicle in at all. This visit was expensive but necessary and because of the trust, I felt comfortable with the entire transaction. My final comment is that Joe explained to me that Byers was giving me a discount on the price. I was excited to think that Byers would offer a discount. What he spared me from was pointing out that it was a Senior Discount! Thanks, Joe, for not sharing that comment. I don't see myself as a "senior" but love the discount! Thanks to the other service people that helped me too. Excellent work and good positive people. Thank you!

Byers Volvo service has no flaws: from start to finish, they provide courteous and expert service. Their representatives are extremely knowledgeable, and they provide very detailed estimates, separating labor and parts costs. My 1996 Volvo 850 sedan received a major overhaul, and the resulting ride is new-car quality. They provided a top-of-the-line courtesy car, and even made an out-of-town service call the next day to take care of a minor issue; on top of that, they promised to mail my handicap tag that I stupidly left in the console of the courtesy car.

I was having issues with the computer components in my car that were causing the car to intermittently not start. I had an insurance monitoring device plugged in to the OBD II port on the car for about 3 days and then I started having issues. I eventually ended up taking my car to Byer's Volvo to have them try to diagnose a computer issue. They were unable to reproduce the issue, but they were honest about that and didn't try to sell me parts that I may or may not have needed. They made sure that I knew what was going on with the car and they didn't want to replace parts or do work on the car unless they knew for sure what was wrong. I ended up picking the car back up because they could not reproduce the problem. They told me that if I had further problems they would assist me. Overall, I am very happy with the friendly and helpful service that I received from this dealer.

Byers has convinced me that though the cost of repair might be negligibly more expensive, in the long run it's worth it. I know the work will be complete without any issues; it will be done when promised; I have a loaner vehicle when necessary; and my car will be cleaned when I pick it up. The service ccrew is always very, very pleasant, but not is an insincere way. We've had nore than 650,000 miles (and counting) on our four Volvos in part because of Byers Volvo.

My mom's s60 had a warning displayed that essentially said don't drive the car (it was too hot). Fluids were good, and the indicator came on when the care had sat for days. I was fairly confident that it was not an issue but I called Byers. I needed help fast and they got me in immediately, resolved the issue and mom is back on the road. I have been to a lot of Volvo dealers as we have had a few in the family, Byers is by far the best in their sensitivity, work and service.

Bob went the extra mile for us. Faced with a very expensive replacement of the final drive transmission for our 2010 XC70, Bob went to bat for us with Volvo, Volvo ended up paying for the parts and we paid the labor. I can say, without a doubt, that they offer the BEST car servicing experience of ANY dealership I have ever been to! I was able to get an appointment the same day, the work was done in the amount of time as promised, and so I wouldn't have to wait any longer than necessary the paperwork from the appointment was mailed to me and I was walked to my nicely washed car ready to go. Knowing I have a dealership to work with like Byers makes owning my Volvo C70 even more enjoyable. I think I died and wentto heaven; thanks to Shawn Bell in service. He is a perfectionist and you can always count on his determination to get it done right. I had a rattle and found that very odd because the Vovlo C70 is built like a tank. I was never worried because of Shawn's reassurance. I knew it would be found and fixed. Pete and I went for a very unhurried drive and all that was required was to open and reclose the convertable top! My car was returned to me detailed. Wow what service. I found myself asking so what is next. You just want to be there they are so wonderful. Havannah the cashier is a doll and she was my first contact when considering where to take the car. And truthfully i wanted to avoid a dealership. She referred me to Shawn and I an so greatful. Believe me folks the service here is outstanding and consistent and all of the people here are wonderful. Such an unusual assortment of people. Ido not know how Byers did this but they have the secret.

I had my 2011 Volvo S40 in for 37,500 mi factory service. This included oil and filter change, wheel rotation, set tire pressures, topped off fluids, lubricated hinges and latches, checked brake pads, tested battery, replaced air filter, changed brake fluid and did overall check and roadtest of my vehicle. They found the rear brake pads needed replaced, and the vehicle needed new wiper blades. They even noticed that the "Volvo" and "R-design" emblems on the front grill of the vehicle were faded, so they replaced the emblems with new ones. And this was all done under warranty, with no cost to me! I also have to mention that Bob in service was friendly and efficient, as always, and he had me in and out quickly with a complimentary loaner car to use while they worked on my car. This has to be the best service department in town! I love my Volvo, and the service department is absolutely the best!

Everytime I take my car in for a service or repair, they always take it one step further whether it be a small tweak, or just taking a look something for the future for me. I don't know what you guys pay Bob but it is not enough. The staff in the service department is why I keep coming back. I could get things such as oil changes done somewhere else at a cheaper price but I would not get the same service from them as I do at Byers.

My warranty company Careguard (never ever purchase a warranty from them horrible service) didn't want to pay for repairs to my car. But the rep at Volvo went above and beyond the get the repairs covered. Now my car is fixed and work fine.

Recently purchased a used Volvo. In past years could not afford one. I have a hard top convertible.. After the purchase I learned only Volvo has the codes for the repairs. I was told to avoid Mag & Byers. I. want to dispel that myth.. Byers has the most wonderful repair shop one could want. Shawn Bell could not have catered to me more, he addressed my issues and also pointed out another one. He is very alert but not pushy. After my purchase I noticed a terrible rattle and thought it was the suspension and it turned out to be minor. Shawn was honest, thorough but not pushy, informative so I know where we need to head in the future. I left a very happy customer and will only use this dealership repair. And several people who were there expressed the same satisfaction. Said they had been coming to Byers Volvo for several Volvo purchases because they were so pleased. I have never been this pleased with a dealership and so relieved after 11 years of very satisfied service with my VW; I was truly spoiled and they were a hard act to follow. Byers Volvo is first class all the way. Thank you Shawn.

I had the best experience with the Byers Volvo Service Department! I just purchased my 2011 Volvo CX 60 and had a small issue with the windshield. I took the car in first thing in the morning and was greeted so pleasantly and promptly by the service team. Shawn provided me with a loaner (which I LOVED) and took such good care of my car. He kept me informed throughout the day on the progress and when I picked the car up the next morning, everything was perfect!!! Love these guys!

We are new to the area and decided to try Byers Volvo. We took our car in to have the oil changed and thoroughly looked over. All of the technicians that I spoke with were very knowledgeable and friendly. They explained everything in detail that were recommended to keep our car running safely, and we are in the process of having the work done. They scheduled us quickly and went over the repairs they would be making and when I could expect to hear back on the status. I am confident we will be happy with the work they will be performing and look forward to taking our other vehicle to be serviced in the near future.

The Service Rep was very professional in answering questions and made recommendations on items to be serviced now and what could wait until later. He called me with an update on when the car would be complete which allowed me to combine the pick up with other business. The car will need tires in the near future so he suggested a specific type that has worked well for others who have the same model which I do (ride quality and tire wear) and gave me a print-out for future reference. I also appreciate cleanliness of the facility and that they pulled my car inside the service area after washing it (very nice since it was raining hard when I came to pick it up.) DE12312011

DE12312011 Sean was the lead representative, but I worked with all four men in the service department at one time or another. Sean took detailed notes of my vague descriptions of concerns with my S80, and the technicians checked all the possibilities and cleaned, repaired, replaced, or reassembled what needed to be done. I felt that they did a thorough job without adding unnecessary work to pad the shop hours or parts list. Sean tried to provide the most customized service at all times, which was not always possible since he has many clients who arrive at the end of a work day. But I trust both Sean and Bob (my previous representative for years) to give me good advice, and I trust Byers to give me good service and good value.

I took my XC90 in for a scheduled maintenance. It's 32 miles from my house and about a 45 minute drive. After they had my car for almost a week, and a total bill of over $1500, my check engine light came on the same day I got my car back. I took it back the next day, they reset it, and it returned the same day again. After the 2nd visit I realized they also failed to change my rear wiper blade at my request, even after replacing my rear wiper blade motor. When they told me what the diagnostic code was, I asked them if it had shown up during the initial diagnostic check. They couldn't tell me because they had no record of the diagnostics being run. So I had to take it a 3rd time, this time leaving it again, for another $600+ repair. So, between the distance and traffic, it cost me over 6 hours of my time plus over $2100 to get the issues resolved. Sean and Bob were both very cordial and provided excellent customer service, but the overall experience was very frustrating, at best. In the future I believe I'll go to the dealership in Dublin.

The team at Byers Volvo Service is great. I've worked with Bob and Sean and they're both terrific guys. They don't overwhelm me with details I don't understand (or don't care about) and they're patient when I have tons of questions. Bob got in touch with me over the phone and also by text when necessary, which made staying informed even easier - because it's often tough to find the simultaneous time to connect live over the phone. Sean even went out of his way to bring my vehicle out and pick up my loaner when I had a conflict getting back to the shop. These guys are the best.

I just recently serviced my car here and I can not speak highly enough of this dealership and their service department. I've been going here since I got my first Volvo at 16 (I'm 25). The service department goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and satisfied. The new facility is awesome!! Shawn and Andrew in the service department are amazing!!! I spoke to Andrew on the phone and he took care of my needs quickly and with awesome customer service. Shawn was the guy who saw me at the dealer. He is wonderful. All my life I've had GM or Ford vehicles and just bought my first Volvo in 2013. I've had my car in for service twice and found tthat he service department goes over and beyond any service I experienced at various other dealerships and in other states. Byers Volvo has the best service department ever, and I have to commend Sean for being the best service rep ever. I brought in my 2001 Volvo v70 to Byers Volvo due to the service light indicator, and I was a bit taken aback by the professionalism and customer service that I experienced. Although I hadn't purchased the vehicle at Byers, they performed a shockingly thorough series of diagnostic tests. The subsequent information was frank, measured and pitch-free. While I didn't think (or expect) anything else could top the service I received--it was done completely free-of-charge. I'm a woman who purchases only older-model used vehicles, and as such, I've met my share of unsavory individuals both at dealerships and as private-party sellers. My experience with Byers was the exact opposite. I'd recommend them without any reservations.

First, I want to be clear that my overall experiences with Byers Volvo, from purchasing my vehicle to every visit since, have been excellent. My only issue with this last service visit deals with the queuing (or lack there of) of the customers waiting for the service bay doors to open at 7:30 am. In my case, there were five vehicles at the doors prior to opening time. When the doors opened, we all drove into the building in the order of arrival. However, we all got out of our vehicles and entered the service writers' area at about the same moment; at which time, except for the two customers who walked up to the first two services desks (the only ones with an attendant present), the rest of us were unsure of where to stand/wait. A third writer entered and had to ask who was next. That was followed with the arrival of several more service customers. As a result, the next customer served was selected out of order. Meanwhile, we were all basically trying to dance out of each others way until the congestion diminished. I realize that space is limited but as one option I suggest that it might be more comfortable for all if signage requested vehicle occupants to remain with their respective vehicle until approached by a service writer.

Having only bought Volvo's from the first day of car ownership, I have been dealing with Byer's Volvo since 1968! My first Volvo and my present Volvo (#4) were purchased at Byer's. In fact, my present Volvo S60 was sold to me by the Service Manager Tom Beard who still oversees the maintenance. Everything has been outstanding: customer service buying process quality of repairs facilities Making an appointment is easy and convenient. Living outside of Columbus could be a hassle but I have had a service manager bring me to the garage when my car was towed for repairs. A car was available for me to use if I could not wait for necessary repairs. Byer's Volvo crew has my trust.

During a routine check, Byers noticed a small oil leak and recommended replacing some oil lines. We gave the go-ahead to replace the oil lines. 3 days after they "fixed" the oil lines, the low oil pressure light came on. A thrown engine rod and a cracked engine block followed. When we towed the car back to Byers, their response was - the oil lines that we replaced are just fine. There must have been a problem with the oil change you had done 3 weeks ago... When we proved that there was not a problem with the oil change, then their answer was - Gee, we have no idea how you had low oil pressure only 3 days after our repair, must be a coincidence. But see, the oil lines we replaced are just fine." If you want "Gee, must be a coincidence" then Byers is for you. If you want a service department that stands by their work - look elsewhere.

It's really too soon to tell if the quality of repairs is "really" excellent, but, I can say that my car is running great now and I'm very happy with the service. Bob is an excellent representation of whom I want to care for my car. Being an out of towner, I needed service quickly for my return home trip. Bob was able to get me in the same day and get the problem diagnosed and fixed. I couldn't be happier.

Bob is the man, he goes above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. My 2005 S40 Volvo was in lockdown mode, it would not start, I had no idea what was wrong so I call Bob. Per Bob's instructions I had the car towed in. Shortly thereafter it was in the shop and up on the rack. What I really like about Byers service department is that they eliminate your biggest worry of how am I going to get around? Without have to ask they provide you with transportation for the duration of your repairs free of charge. What a savings, great relief and superb customer service. Everybody treat you with the utmost respect, always courteous and willing to assist you in any way. Facilities are always clean and comfortable. Last but not least, because of all of the complimentary services provided I have never in the history of car repairs had a repair cost for under $5, Bob made that happen. Its a miracle.....Thank you Bob and Thank you Byers for quality employees. Happy customer : )

This was the best service experiance I have every had....period! Bob was my manager and he made what could have been a very bad situation a great experiance. My keys were stolen while I was at a local coffee shop in Columbus as I was in town on Business. One phone call and the service began. The tow came in 20 minutes and I was at the dealership in less than 45 minutes. My new key was programmed, car washed, interior vacumned and I was out the door and back on the road in 90 minutes. Simply Outstanding!

I purchased a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country from Ralph at Byers Automotive and am completely satisfied. The van pulled left and the Byers team told me if I fixed it on my own, they'd drop the price, which they did. I went to get the van aligned, and the mechanic said it was the back tires and they were unable to do it. Took the van back to Byers to get it serviced, and they fixed it at NO COST. Not only did they fix it at no cost, but they gave me a vehicle so I could make it to work, and so my wife could take our daughter to her program at the library that same day. The entire team was very friendly and I am definitely coming back here to buy my next car!

On one day's notice Sean was able to get me in for maintenance and get a loaner for me. The recently renovated dealership is great. The service area and waiting areas are very nice. Yesterday, on very short notice, a potentially serious problem was fixed and I was underway in less than an hour. I have purchased two vehicles at Byer's Volvo, and it is the excellence and committment of the service department that has earned my loyalty. I will likely add a third Volvo when the time comes to replace my V50 in about a year or so.

While I was there, waiting in the lovely new reception area, the technician came in several times to advise me of various things that I might want to have taken care of while I had the car in the shop. I appreciated the attention to detail without the pressure to have repairs or purchases made on the spot. I purchased my car at Byers 7 years ago and had stopped going to the dealer because it was out of warranty. But when I needed major work done, I went back to Byers. They not only remembered me, they treated me like I'd never left. The service guys always explain everything to me on a level that I can understand. They help me prioritize the work when its going to be costly so that I can make the best choice for my circumstances. I know I can trust them with my car and they only have my best interest at heart. I've returned again to have my car serviced there, not because its convenient, I live 20 miles away, but because of the personal care and service that I receive. I can't say enough good things about them. When I'm ready to purchase another car, I'll be going back to this dealership.

I drive in 60 miles and he's always ensures a loandper is available so that I' able to maximize my time in Columbus. I can't say enough for my Technician-- Will. I always take my '91 Volvo 240 (270K and still going) to Byers for any repairs. Everyone in the service department is cheerful and helpful. My car is very well taken care off. They always give me competitive pricing and more importantly stick to it, unlike other places that have an inflated final price thanks to "misc. charges" and "shop supplies". Adam Mahr and Shawn Bell are very knowledgeable too and the fact that my car gets OEM parts is always a plus. They also clean the car and top of fluids free of cost. I have a 1991 Volvo 240 with almost 270K miles on it. I always bring the car into Byers Volvo whenever it needs anything because I know that they will give my car the proper care it needs and the price they charge is quite comparable to that of the other chain service locations. But more importantly, they know how to fix the car correctly. Plus genuine OEM parts are used and their customer service is always a 5/5. Adam took my car in and got it all fixed within the promised time and at the price that he quoted me over the phone - unlike other places which somehow magically charge a "disposal fee" and "shop supply fee" to bump up the cost. All of them in the service department are very friendly and cheerful. I definitely recommend Byers Volvo and I will only trust my car with them - always! DE12312011.

Took vehicle (XC70) in because regular mechanic close to my house found problem with fuel pump. This mechanic thought the fuel pump might still be on warranty and sent me to Byers. Pump was actually over the warranty but Byer replaced it anyway free of charge. After replacing part the thoroughly inspected my vehicle and highlighted future problems and things that should be addressed. Despite the length of the list there was no pressure to address all of them. The advisor I worked with, Shawn Bell, ranked them by severity and gave me a timeline as to when they should be addressed. Shawn was kind, clear, patient, and understanding. Shawn actually went the extra step to check my car for alignment after his shift was over. Very, very good experience!

I have only owned my Volvo s40 for a tear and a half but I am happy to have bought it from Byers Volvo. I was recently in an accident and didn't know where my car should be repaired. Byers Volvo Service Department not only gave me their top recommendation, but they called to check and make sure I was receiving the best service from the auto body shop. They didn't have to call me but they did and I appreciated it very much. Then I had to have my tire repaired which was under warranty but the service department at Byers got me in and out with no appointment and a full schedule the day I called. Recently I had to have all of my lug nuts changed out and although it shouldn't have to happen, the service department got me in and out again. I am amazed every time I go in there because the service department takes care of me like I am family. This even held true when I purchased my car. Such a good dealership that I would encourage anyone to but a Volvo from there!

I have owned 2 used Volvos and 2 new Volvos from 1996 to the present. While driving my first used Volvo I walked away from an accident in upstate New York after losing control on black ice and snow, flipping the car and sliding off the road into a field. Safety is my primary concern and Volvo is a proven winner. My present car was purchased out of state about a year ago prior to my move to Ohio. First full service with Sean and Byers Volvo has been a positive experience. Several concerns of mine were checked out and resolved and the first service was performed in a timely manner. Additionally, for my convenience a loaner car was provided. I look forward to continuing my connection to Byers Volvo.
