We had a great experience with Ricky and Panama buying a Volvo XC. From the beginning they were not the typical car dealers as they were very down to earth. We were aiming to buy from a small local dealer and their prices were better than the big box dealers. We requested a pre-purchase inspection and they easily took care of the repair with our deposit before we signed anything. The car drove wonderful, but we were disappointed we noticed a small coolant leak that our inspection did not catch several weeks after we purchased "as is". We let Ricky know about the leak thinking he may give us a deal on repairs. He offered to get our volvo checked by his mechanic who indicated the need for a new radiator, Ricky assured us he would take care of it at no cost either! I was beside myself, as my husband and I were preparing for an expensive repair. Car has had no problems since. So grateful to find such good people, this is what makes you a return customer.

Purchased a car form Ricky and Panama and I was skeptical about buying from a small dealership but my experience was good, the car is great, and they were willing to work with me on anything I had questions about. Good guys, I'd buy from them again or recommend them to others. Thanks guys!

I purchased a Mercedes SUV from Car Coast, they were very honest,they went out of there way to give me a great deal.I work the grave yard shift,and sleep most off the day.I told ricky that I really wonted to buy the SUV but dont have the time to do all the running around,so he told me not to worry he will bring the car to me and follow me to the insurence and finance company to be inspected. Ricky also follow me home and gave me the keys,at this time they didnt even recieve a down payment from me, I gave him a posted dated check, and he told me that he hold it for a week. now that's TRUST. THANK YOU CAR COAST HAPPY HOLIDAYS

You will get an apology for putting your Family in A CAR without checking the brakes but they will not offer any help with the out of pocket expense you incur to fix what they should have !I have the E-mail transcript they dont check em only drive for two weeks and then sell em !!!???

My wife and I where looking for a certain car and Ricky and Panama went out of there way to give us a great deal on the car. I was a bit uncertain due to us living out of town and not seeing the car in person, but they made the sale very easy and kept there end of the bargain. Sent us emails showing the work being done to keep us updated everyday until we got there. The car has been great.

I recently purchased an BMW X5 from Car Coast. They're were honest and reliable. I did not have to wait to be serviced. They were well informed on all the vehicle on the lot. They respected my time by scheduling a time that was convenient for me. They also helped me drop off my rent a car. My service with Car Coast was above and beyond my expectation. Saab Girl I think everything you said is correct . The reason we bought was we thought and still think Panama and Ricky are good people at heart,but brakes should have been checked better.We did ask for a carfax but Panama could not put his hands on.but since Panama told us he knew the previous owner and car for years we felt ok.He said the owner had just spent $3000.00 for the recent service so car should be great for next 100,000 miles.We later found out it was for a $2300.00 transmission rebuild and $800.00 air unit repair.I live in Columbia SC so my local mechanic saw the car after I bought on good faith.I am more upset about having to spend my families money on the bad brakes than anything else that we have encountered ..just feel like they should have a mechanic for their business that advised that take place before the sell. Ricky did say in an email I have that he was a family man also and would do that in the future.Again sometimes good people dont always dot i and cross T.

I remember the exact moment I knew that I just HAD to have another Saab in my life. It was early summer, this year. CarCoast was one of the first dealerships I visited-Panama, the manager, was as nice and down to earth as someone could be. I test drove one of their Saab's that day and, ultimately, after another two months of searching for and test driving a number of other Saabs, I ended up right back at CarCoast and bought the very Saab I had test driven my first day looking. I just love my Saab and it has been a wonderful experience to work with Ricky, the owner of CarCoast. CarCoast is the ONLY used European dealership I would recommend to ANYONE wanting to buy a used auto. Even after I purchased my Saab from CarCoast I continued to receive excellent customer service from them! And, to the woman that wrote the review about CarCoast not caring about the safety of her family, all I can say is: Please do your research on the vehicle before you buy it. Carcoast sells their cars, as most used dealerships do, on an AS-IS basis, unless you purchase a warranty. Problems with the vehicle shouldn't be occurring after you purchased the car UNLESS you never got it checked out by the mechanic or at least get a carfax report.

I purchased my first pre-owned vehicle in 2011 and was very pleased with the professional athosphere at the carcoast auto sales dealership. I was so impressed that in 2012 i purchased another vehicle and i have also recommended several of my friends to purchase from them, and they have. They team work of the owner and the general manager have completely made my buying experience wonderful and pleasant. They are very good at what they do. Must see if your looking for a pre-owned luxury vehicle. DMF

I have had my share of used car dealers who will tell you anything on the phone just to get you on the lot. This was not the case with Car Coast: my car was described accurately, and its faults described. I told them that if the faults were corrected, we had a deal. We set a time line. The car was ready when they said. The transaction was fast and efficient. If you are searching for a European luxury car --always a risky buy-- I would give them a look.
