Carlos and Bennet were awesome! It was a great buying experience with zero pressure. I could really tell that both Carlos and Bennet had my best interest in mind. The whole process was fairly quick but not rushed at all. Compared to other dealerships I had visited, Carl Burger blew the others out of the water! Customer service was great and I could tell Carlos and Bennet wanted to insure I was making the best choice for me rather than pushing a sale. Great experience!

Our family had a great experience and enjoyed the great service provided by Sam who works in the internet sales department. He was very friendly and helpful and not pushy at all. The financing was very fair and friendly but the time to complete the sale was extremely slow and needs improvement. After making the decision to move forward, it took over an hour to get from that point to meet with the finance team to complete our paperwork. Considering my wife and I both have a 800+ fico score, this seemed inappropriate. Considering there was a 2 year old with us as well, I found this disrespectful and unacceptable. There were two separate points where we almost left but I didn't have my keys. Overall I highly recommend the dealership but be prepared to spend some time there and considering bringing some food with you. Francisco was our salesman and he was excellent! We'd buy there again and insist on him as our salesman. Jeff in parts was also excellent. Really knows his parts. Answered every question we asked. We felt very trusting with these two gentlemen. Able, on the other hand, had us getting out of our chairs and leaving the dealership. We were done when he intervened. Luckily he left as soon as he came and Francisco wrapped everything up to our complete satisfaction. Carl Burger is very fortunate to have Jeff and Francisco as employees. . We'll be back because of these two men.

I couldn't be more happier with my experience. They started off wanting my car in trade. I went in pessimistic but they offered me a fair price if I would buy a new car. Trouble was that they did not have what we wanted on the lot. I found one in Huntington Beach, showed it to them and they were able to trade for it. They made me a fair deal on the new car as well. I would highly recommend them and Gibson & Justin in particular. Even the financing was ok. The best part is the wife is happy. Happy wife, happy life!!!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Breen and Carl Burger Dodge! I bought a used Durango last weekend. It was hands down the easiest and most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. As a single mom, the auto world can be a little intimidating, even for someone who knows their stuff! Breen was a straight shooter, asked what my needs were and put me right into the perfect vehicle. There wasn't the whole "shopping and haggling" game that sucks up your day (and little pieces of your soul). Also, whoever decided to put in bouncy houses in a certified GENIUS. Having a place for the kids to let off some steam made the financing process seem...not so long. There were a couple of little imperfections and Breen made sure I got a due bill to get them fixed at my convenience (I went on a Sunday afternoon so the service guys weren't available). I went in a couple of days later and he took me back and I was on the road within 15 minutes. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. Very satisfied, and look forward to coming back in the future!

Great experience. Buying process went smooth. Came into dealership to take a look at their used cars. Sam P. our sales rep was very nice. He was very helpful, attentive to our needs but at the same time gave us our space which I felt we needed in order to make the best decision. My husband and I did not feel pressured at all. We felt really comfortable. After looking for a car for almost 3 weeks, we were sold with the '13 Dodge Dart. Honestly, I wasn't even considering purchasing that model but everything fell into place and I definitely consider it was a good deal. They were realistic and willing to negotiate. Liking the car very much and have gotten plenty of compliments.

I purchased a 2008 Ram 2500 used in 2010. Two days later I received a call saying the bank wouldn't honor the contract. When I renegotiated I asked if I could get my tried in back and was told it was no longer at the dealership. Considering my loan wasn't approved and they already sent my jeep to another dealer was totally unacceptable. When I took a closer look at the truck I found that they did a horrible job cleaning it under the bed liner I found the recessed parts caked with dry mud so much so that the bed of the truck was flat. To this day I am still displeased by the experience. All the sales manager keep saying when I was buying the truck was how big word do mouth is and how they work with every customer.

Brought my wifes 2013 Dodge Durango in for service. Was helped by Andre Broutin. Explained to him i only needed driver's side spark plugs changed because were difficult to get to. I already did the other side. He quoted me a good price and only charged half of full labor since only half of engine would be worked on. Good experience compared to some dealerships where they will give you grief for only wanting half of the spark plugs replaced. Met my expectations and had no issues. He even went and took care of the recall that was issued on the vehicle.great service advisor and would recommend him in the future.

I recently used the quick oil change facility at Carl Burger Dodge in La Mesa. The service advisor was Jeffrey Arkin and he had my vehicle in & out in less than an hour. He immediately got things moving and I didn't stand around waiting for someone to talk to as has happened at times. He was very friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with customers. I didn't feel like another piece of paper had been slotted away when I left. He went over the inspection record on my Jeep but didn't try to high-pressure me into spending more $. Jeff is the kind of service advisor I am comfortable working with and I appreciate his attitude and approach to customer service.

I'm writing this review about the wonderful experience my family and I had purchasing our new 2014 Dodge Challenger and about the excellent customer service we received from our salesperson Christian Rincon. The first impression you get when you drive on their lot is that they are ready and waiting to assist you in any way that they can and make you feel as comfortable as possible. Christian went above and beyond in helping us come to a decision about our purchase by answering all of our questions regarding the car we were most interested in. He was completely thorough and had so much knowledge about the Dodge Challengers inside and out that by the time we test drove the car we were pretty sure it was the one. We also had the pleasure of working with Assistant Manager Abel Chemsi who helped us finalize everything and he was absolutely professional as well. He and Christian work well as a team and don't waste anytime getting you through the process quickly and all the while still giving you outstanding customer service. After our purchase Christian had the car ready and waiting for us as we exited the finance department. The car was cleaned and looked beautiful. We were very happy with how smooth everything went. I highly recommend Christian Rincon, Abel Chemsi, Bennett Owen and the whole team at Carl Burger Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM World in La Mesa because they really know how to treat their customers from start to finish.

My purchase of a 2014 100 anniversary Challenger was surprisingly pleasant. Troy Baldwin was an awesome low pressure salesman. He was extremely helpful, kind, likeable, and easy going. To make the transaction quicker, while we were finishing up with the finance manager, Troy had moved everything out of my trade in (car seats, personal items, etc) and set them up in my new car. He went out of his way to make the purchase a pleasant one. Of course, negotiations are the worst part of buying a new car, but I did my research and can't complain. I was pleased overall and am loving my new car.

Great experience with repairs to my 2010 Jeep Liberty! Excellent service from the Service Manager (Chris Levin) and Service Advisor (Matt Williams). Since I was from out-of-town, the repairs needed to be made while I waited. They far exceeded my expectations in getting the car repairs completed! Cost of the repairs was very competitive and efficient. Very courteous and professional staff.

Just wanted to make sure I commended Andre Brourin for his excellent customer service on Friday, February 21. My son is a professional ball player and he was leaving for spring Training the following morning. I was looking for a very specific used car, and a qualified one popped up on the Internet at Carl Burger's. This was not the first place I had thought to look. In fact, I don't know if it every would have crossed my mind, unprompted. And I was very surprised. I drove away in a new (to me) Mazda MX-5. It's a beauty, and had only 33,000 miles. Exactly what I was looking for.The physical plant of the dealership is very big, and you drive onto the lot and get stopped at a little hut that reminded me of guard stations you see in old WWII movies. You are assigned a salesperson from the moment you park your car; guess that's how they rotate "ups." Anyway, we got Cameron Mahoozi, and he was a treat to work with. Cameron was totally sincere as we walked across the lot, looking for the car we had seen online. Once we found it, he said, several times, that he wasn't really familiar with this particular model. I completely respect a person who is not afraid to say that he doesn't have all the answers to every single question. But boy,Cameron made a point to find out all the answers! Which was great. He was not pushy, was very accommodating, and treated us as if we were guests in his own home. While he did use the assumptive close, that was fine, because I wanted the car, and I was able to afford it. Bennett, the finance guy, was equally pleasant to work with. He was jovial and lighthearted about a lot of details that can be mundane and boring. And when I didn't understand something he was very patient about explaining it again. My one disappointment was that I didn't get more for my trade in, but it was a 1996 car with 205,000 miles on it. And the trade in guy did manage to get me a little more. . . I understand the situation, and that was clearly not enough reason for me not to buy the car I did. Overall, it was remarkably painless, and since I hadn't bought a car for 15 years, that was a happy thing!

Called early on and confirmed truck and negotiated price before I even went to dealership . I live about 4 hours away and they offered to pick me up at the Amtrak train station . Got on train early Sunday AM , got to San Diego about 12:35 ,test drove truck , signed paper work and were on our way in a about 1.5 hrs ! Everybody was helpful and nice , and the train ride on board the Pacific Surfliner can't be beat !

Actually, the car was better than I expected as well. Low mileage and a super low price to go with it. There was no pressure to purchase the car and the sales staff was very responsive to my needs. In a nut shell, I would recommend this dealership and keep them in mind when I am in the market for another car.

The worst car buying experience I have ever had. Due to there negligence I ended up driving down to the dealership 3 times in one day to make this deal work. Keeping in mind I live approx 40 miles away one way. The vehicle I bought had no gas when I took it home and repairs that were promised to be fixed were not. Not to mention we were robbed for our trade in. Poor customer service and when we tried to negotiate were told there where other people wanting our vehicle and they didn't need our business. The arrogance and attitude was unreal. I would never recommend Carl burger dodge to anyone and will make sure to inform anyone on this dissatisfying experience.

unlike another dealer I had gone to today (Rancho). Carl Burger was prompt and willing to help me get into the car I wanted. I would Never. Buy a car from this company again. EVER. Complete: FAIL in ALL regards. Even if it was the lowest priced car anywhere. I could write a book, about what they did wrong. I'm not going to get into the details, because, as I mentioned-it would take a book! I thought long and hard, about this review, because I don't believe, I've ever given a one star rating to anyone, EVER. But. If there is a company that deserves a 1 star rating-You've just found it. As a whole- over the last 5 days whilst I've been dealing with these people, it's been quite the nightmare. My advise? Do not buy a car from this company. EVER. Well, unless, you enjoy being jerked around by EVERYONE, including their stupid telephone system (which keeps telling you, that you are being monitored for quality assurance over and over again. Then disconnecting you over and over again. Hello?) That should give you a heads up. Honestly. The absolutely, WORST car buying experience of my entire life! I'm 59 years old, and I've bought a LOT of cars! Yup, upon re-review. I would NEVER buy a car from this group, EVER again. Additionally, I would never send anyone to this dealership as a referral. EVER. Lucky, for them, I don't have the time to write a book, right now. IMO

Our '98 Chrysler minivan had over 233,000 miles and was monthly needing repairs, so we knew it was time for something more reliable. I still felt we needed a 7-passenger, but my husband wanted me out of a minivan, and after some research, I was hoping to look at the Journey. They only had a 5-passenger Journey left on the lot and it was a few years old, and didn't have a V6 (another wish of my husband's). Gary and Barret searched the entire city and found the perfect ride for us. Joseph ran across town to get it and Chris zipped through the paperwork quickly and efficiently. I hadn't planned on buying a new car, but when nick Dreyfus brought that beautiful yellow Dodge Charger Super Bee car to our Mopar Meeting, I sat up and took notice. So it's all his fault that I ended up finding and buying a car. We looked at and drove the Super Bee the very next day and the big 392 HEMI was too much power for my taste. I took the car down the freeway and hit the gas and the car pinned me to my seat and scared the heck out of me. I was totally unprepared for such awesome power. then Sonny drove up in a wild looking black MOPAR '11 Charger with a bright stripe and that's what I ended up buying. So that's all Sonny's Fault. Then we met with Chris to pay for the car and he walked us through the bill of sale and all the and all the tons of paperwork, and then he sold us the lifetime maximum warranty coverage which is a must for these very high tech cars these days. These guys are good at what they do. They answered all our questions, and we had a bunch of them, believe me. These cars are so complex that you need a "team" to help you figure out how to even start the car! This six cylinder girl has now been bumped up into the high tech, 5.7 HEMI world. My new car is a beautiful MOPAR and I've already named it "Nightrider."

My Jeep (Betsy) was totaled so I came to Carl Burgers Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM World today after work hoping and wishing to buy this flawless-motored, sexy candy-red, black-wheeled Mustang GT today. Joe Perkins got me the key and off we went. Cool guy. Totally relaxed ride, just got to feel the car. Loved it, named her Jolene and wanted it in my driveway that same night. However, I was nervous of being turned away. After all, I didn't have perfect credit, it was a 2010 fully loaded GT Mustang, and I had to have reasonable payments. Joe Perkins, Fernando Vidana, and Bennett Owen got it done and even more. 3 year bumper-bumper warranty plus lowered my payments more than what I had asked for! Impressive team. Always hustled and moved with a sense of purpose. As long as I stay in San Diego Carl Burgers has my business. Thanks guys, Jolene can't wait to pick up her first date!

I had a great experience. I could not find the truck or the deal I wanted in Northern California. I found Carl Burger on line in my truck search and Gerald answered the phone when I called. He not only had the truck I was looking for he put the deal together over the phone and I gave him a deposit over the phone. Not only that he even picked me up at the airport on his day off and delivered the car at the dealership. Chris the finance manager was great to work with also of course I paid cash-cash, so it was a pretty easy deal. I can guaranteed that I wouldn't be driving a new Ram truck if it wasn't for Gerald and this dealership.

I was contacted by the Internet Manager after my initial request for information on the 2013 Dodge Dart SXT that I had picked out on Cars.com. We were to meet at 0900 on Saturday at the dealership. I was there on time, but this person was not. However, Javier stepped up to the plate and showed me the car, let me test drive it, and set up the financing. I got an inkling to go to Carl burger just to look at cars because mine was on its last leg. When I arrived, a smiling face met me and introduced himself as Joe. We talked a bit and I explained that I had just bought a large ticket item and my credit might be maxed. He suggested we run a check to see where we would be realistically. He ran the report and showed me some cars. Once I found a car I liked he introduced me to the manager, the finance guy and a few others. Chris was great. I even had hot chocolate while I waited my turn! Joe was really great too, he drove my car up to the window and put it on display for me to look at. Within a couple of hours I had gone from a curious lady to a new 2012 car owner. Everyone was cordial, reassuring, kind and professional. I had heard a good report about them before. I have never been more pleased and pleasantly surprised. They explained each step as the process moved forward and made me feel like I was a customer and not a "quota". If you have credit issues and concerns the key is to be prepared, honest and realistic when you are attempting to make any purchase. Help them to help you. I will recommend Carl Burgers to friends and family and hope whoever reads this will find the vehicle they need at Carl Burgers. Thanks guys :)

I would just like to post about my experience with the service department at Carl Burger Dodge. Day 1: I take My 2004 Dodge Dakota that is getting errors for the MAP and camshaft sensor. I was told that the problem was that the computer needs to be reflashed and the MAP sensor was bad. So I let them reflash my PCM and got a new MAP sensor from the auto parts store. I drove it 5 miles to my house and it still has the same codes for the camshaft sensors. So I take it back to the service department. Day 2: I was then told that the sensors for my cam and crankshaft have to be factory ones. And that this may still not fix it. Now I can tell that they are just guessing on what is wrong with it and want me to put MY MONEY up for their guesses. So I buy the factory sensor and install them myself. I still get codes for the camshaft sensor. So I take it back again. Day 3: When I take it back this time the service advisor that has been helping me states that he cannot keep IAGNOSING MY TRUCK FOR FREE So I guess that DIAGNOSING a problem on a vehicle at Carla Burger Dodge means e will just guess what is wrong and have the costumer start replacing parts at their cost until the right part gets replaced Day 4: I get a call from them telling me that now they THINK it is the PCM but it might be something else. So they want me to pay them to replace my computer at a cost of $700 for the part and $200 for the install. And this still may not be the problem. I thought that taking a vehicle to the SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS would get my truck running. Instead of experts, I think Carl Burger Dodge has SUBJECT MATTER GUESSERS. If I would have known they were just going to charge me for changing out parts to see what the problem was I would have never taken it to them. I have only owned two vehicles in my life and I have bought both of them from Carl Burger Dodge. I am writing this as a warning to anyone. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES HERE TO GET FIXED. Any mechanic can start swapping part in a car to see if the problem gets fixed and in that case, you do not have to take it here.

I had a great experiance buying my first new car from them. Unfortunetly my car was hit 4 months later. Had the car taken to their collision center for the repairs, I did not Want to rush or be pushy with them, I wanted them to fix the car right..7 weeks later I get my car back. Still had damage..I was very angry with them, I went back 08/13/2012 to speak with Kyle the GM.. I have to say I was impressed. He took the time to hear what I had to say. He offered a resolution to my satisfaction. I had the option to fix the car or to trade it in. I choose to trade it in and got a great deal. They valued me as a customer and it showed. I want to thank Gibbson The sales men who worked very hard to get me off the lot in time for my appointment. He was very knowledgeable about the product and its features. He was running back and forth on a very hot day Thanks for all you did. I bought a 2012 Charger my 1st new car from Carl Burger. The sales men was not pushy at all..I was happy with my purhase. Unfortunetly my car was hit 4 months later. Took the car back to dealer, because I felt I could trust them and I wanted the car fixed right. I did not keep pushing them to finish, I let take there time..I got my car back after 7 weeks..I was givin the paper work showing the repairs were done, the alighnment was done to specs. Took car home only to hear a noise in the rear. Took car back next day, talked to Dave, he said it might be the new brakes to drive it for a few days..not comfortable with that I took it for a second opinion. Sure enough the repairs were not done right, still was bent on both sides, alighment was not to specs could not be done in the condition it was in.. I contacted Dave and he kept assuring me the did the alingnment to specs showed me the paper with the specs...at that point I could not trust them..my car has been sitting for 5 months...not happy with them at all, I feel they commited a fraud. we called about a 2010 car, used. we told them we could come in after work. the salesman called us around 5:25 and would get the car ready for us, we said we were on the way. 10 min. later we got there. waited 20 min no salesman and now no car. they showed us other cars - no great deals to make up the lies lies lies.......

My wife and I were shopping for used vehicals and I checked all Four Chrysler dealers in the San Diego area (Bob Baker, Balboa, Midway and Carl Burger) I previously purchased a Grand Carovan in Febuary from Midway and was pleased with thier service but Carl Burger exceeded my expectaions of all the other dealerships! I recieved excillent service from Christain, he went above and beyond his call of duty in the way he assisted us while purchasing the Grand Carovan (Including calling me on his days off!) After purchasing the Vehical we discovered a few minor glitches so I brought the Van back for service and Travis bent over backwards to help us better understand the U connect system. I was pleased with the overall service and follow-up even after the purchase to insure customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Carl Burger to anyone looking for a new or used vehical, And I really wanted to mention Travis and Christian because in my eyes they exsemplify the meaning of Customer service and follow-up.

This week I purchased a pre-owned, dealer certified 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JK) from Carl Burger Chrysler/Jeep in La Mesa, CA. Although a new vehicle purchase was long overdue, I had no intention of buying a car that day but was there to look at and discuss some of the Jeeps features in person. As this is a review I must be honest, my initial interaction with one of the salesmen was not the best and ended abruptly when I explained I was just starting my new car search and had a few technical questions. In hindsight I'm glad that salesman did not consider me a perspective buyer as it created an opportunity for Travis L. a young, personable and motivated guy who happily entertained every question I had. Travis admitted he was new to the dealership but already had a good product knowledge base and a genuine enthusiasm and belief in the various car lines Carl Burger sells, namely Jeep. What Travis may have lacked in experience he more than made up for in attitude and willingness to provide answers to my questions or find an answer for me. I consider myself a somewhat tough consumer, Travis was able to turn my "just looking" trip to the dealer into a quick and enjoyable car buying experience. Through a combination of timing, the right vehicle and the right sales approach by Travis, Carl Burger Chrysler/Jeep has a satisfied new customer.

Excellent service. Service advisor David Garcia has always been very helpful and efficient. I have 3 Jeep vehicles and have always had them serviced at Carl Burgers facility.This has included normal service to a new engine for a 1991 Wrangler. David Gracia is one of the reasons I continue to bring my vehicles to Carl Burgers. I just purchased a Dodge Dakota and will bring it to Car Burgers for service.

After spending most of our 4th of July at another dealership and being treated the way I have come to expect from car dealers, we decided to leave and make the trip over to Carl Burger in La Mesa. It was the last thing we wanted to do after getting the run around all day but I am so glad we stopped in! This was hands down the best expreience we have EVER had buying a vehicle. We got a new Chrysler Town & Country. Mike our salesman was super knowledgeable, personable, and very pleasant to be around. The Sales Manager (unfortunately I forgot his name) was a straight shooter and when we told him where we needed our payments to be he made it happen. My husband and I appreciated not playing the back and forth game. That showed that they recognized our time was valuable and really valued our business. I would most deinitely reccomend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a vehicle. Everyone that we encountered seemed geniuinely happy to be there (even though it was a holiday!)

I didn't really need a new car. I was happy with my car. It got me around. Got the job done. When I went to see Carl Burger, I was just going to look- I didn't want to buy new gadgets. I loved my old car and didn't need them- just wanted a better interest rate. I insisted on it. Wes and Christian tried to show me a car with even better features like BlueTooth and Touch Screen- didn't want them- I hate to say, I was even a little rude. They tried to show me a car in black. My husband hated the color. Dark cars are too hard to clean... after a lot of patient explaining and reasoning- they just spoke the truth. What they were offering was an even better deal- better features for a better price then what I paid for my old one. So I got in and took the black one for a test drive... and then I didn't want to get out. Even loved the color- They knew what I was looking for- just had to get me to see what a great deal they had for me. To sweeten the deal, they threw in some extra car washes which made my husband happy. My husband is going to need a new truck in the Fall and we're not trusting anyone but the people at Carl Burger (especially Wes, Christian and Michelle) They listened and saw what I wanted before I knew myself.

I moved to United States 14 months ago. I have never owned American car before,thus I was worry! I took advise of few of my friends and went to Carl Burger Dodge. I was greated by gentelman name Cameron... he is been there for long time... he was real cool and showed me Dodge Avanger and a Chrysler 200. I loved Avanger... great car, great price... After researching the new Grand Cherokee, finally decided to buy one. Living in Riverside, we had many dealerships to choose from. Having an unpleasant experience at our local dealerships, I went on line and found the exact vehicle we wanted on Carl Burger's website. We called and spoke with Lou Sigur and set up an appointment with him. When we arrived, Lou had the vehicle ready for us. Lou was very professional and knowledgeable. The whole experience was very smooth from start to finish, Chris in finance was also great. As we were preparing to leave, Kyle Nyswonger the general manager came out to thank us for our purchase, after speaking with him , it is obvious that customer satifaction is very important to him. This was by far the best car buying experience ever.

My husband and I had been shopping for months. We pulled onto the lot on a sunday just looking and seeing what they had. TWAN AMIN came up to us. We told him what we were looking for and he actually knew about diesels and didnt try to deter us he helped us get what we were looking for. He was honest and upfront. However the dealership said the vehicle was certified and it had problems, but the dealership made it write and fixed our vehicle. They also got us a rental car while it was being repaired. They got it in ASAP.

The dealership tried to use a leed-in vehicle, one that is not really forsale but a come-on to get me into dealership. When I worked out all the detail about purchase, that day, I was told "Sorry its been sold" and we have no more for even close to that price. I went up to Huntington Beach Jeep, and got what I wanted, for the price I wanted and was able to choice the vehicle between several vehicles. This dealership is a waste of your time and effort. Look outside of San Diego, it is worth your time.
