Took my car in for a routine service. Mentioned to the technician that the a/c makes an annoying noise and asked if they could look into it. Received a call from them saying they had located the cause of the noise and it would be an $800 fix. Greenlighted the repair, only to find out that it STILL MAKES THE NOISE. Took it back in and told them that they need to either 1)Refund my $800 or 2) fix the problem. They have now come to the conclusion that the noise in unfixable. It's not anything that is harming the car, it's just annoying, but they state that the $800 repair was still somehow necessary and will not refund my $ (even though I greenlighted said repair under false pretenses). THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS. DO NOT SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Every routine service locates another "necessary repair" and I always walk about paying $1500-$3000,

BRAVO, CARLSBAD VOLVO... BRAVO!!!BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!After spending a month looking, test driving, pricing other vehicles, I decided to stop by Carlsbad Volvo after reading the review in US News Best Cars for 2013 report where the Volvo CX-6- ranked #3 in consumer reviews.From the minute I stepped onto the lot, I was given the upmost courtesy and respect. Greg Phillips spent HOURS with me going over vehicles, options, styles, colors and back over all of it again and again and again. I am incredibly indecisive and was NOT sure what I wanted. Honestly, I was an absolute nightmare and would ever hate to deal with a buyer like myself but not once did they lose enthusiasm or interest in wanting me to get the best vehicle... even if it meant that I didn't buy a new car. I decided on one car, we wrote the deal all up, Pete Lizarraga (GM) ran all the paperwork, and then at the last minute I changed my mind and wanted a different Volvo. Their response was "that's OK! we just want you to be happy and love the experience and your new car!" I can't believe they were so compassionate. Buying a new vehicle is such a huge decision and purchase and it was so comforting to know they wanted what was best for me even if it meant more work for them. A couple of days after buying the Volvo CX60 AWD T6, I decided I wanted to get a cargo mat for the back. After reading the reviews on Yelp I was a little concerned how this experience was going to go but again... Carlsbad Volvo did not disappoint. The parts department was so knowledgeable and went over all the options and came out to my vehicle (which I am sure he has seen 1000 just like mine) to explain which cargo mat would be best for my needs. Not only did he take the time to explain it all, he installed it for me and made sure I was happy when I drove off. TOP NOTCH care and service!Don't change a thing, Carlsbad Volvo! We will be back for the CX70, so make sure you have a white one for me! Thank you for making this such an amazing experience! I heart my Volvo!!

Just bought an S60 here and was really happy with the process from start to finish. Let me start off by saying I've purchased over 8 cars in my lifetime 5 were brand new and from luxury makers. Compared to others this was a high quality experience due in large part to: Pete the GM, Don and Richard. We found our car online. Worked the deal and set up extremely GOOD terms over the phone, showed up on the lot AND got the same deal with ZERO issues. We had fair and honest treatment from beginning to end. We'd spoken to 3 other Volvo dealerships near us in Orange County. Carlsbad Volvo blew the others out of the water since the sales team we delt with came across as caring, honest and open to working a fair deal we could all walk away feeling good about. As a result, my husband who drives an Audi may consider an XC 70 next time around.

What an outstanding experience. I felt comfortable right away with no pressure from the sales person. Everyone was friendly and professional. It didnt feel like buying a car at all. They got me financed and everything!! WIN!! Thanks Volvo!! Love my XC90!!

I've relied on Frank to service my four Volvos over the past 25+ years. Work is done right the first time, and if not so in a very unusual circumstance its redone rapidly and without charge. Frank monitors my mileage and recommends the correct service required. I drove my 240DL over 650,000 miles doing the simpler services myself and having Frank do the more demanding work. I attribute my fondness for Volvos to the excellent service work that I've received from Frank and the Volvo organization. My current Volvo is a XC70 which is at 300,000 miles and I expect it to run even further than my 240.

My mother and I were on vacation in Carlsbad when our beautiful V50 required its scheduled maintenance. Being on vacation, we debated whether to trust a dealer other than our own with out beloved V50. We decided to try Carlsbad Volvo. We came in without an appointment expecting to be turned away and end up with nothing, but we were surprised. Jerry got our V50 in and we even got a loaner car, a rarity among other Volvo dealers considering very few dealers even have loaners anymore. Our car was done quickly and we picked it up the next day. In addition, we walked around Carlsbad Volvo's sun-filled showroom and admired models newer than ours, when we met Sim. He informed me of some car features and was quite kind. It is fine employees like Jerry and Sim who make my mother and I believe that the only cars we will ever want to own are Volvos. Jerry Gould and Sim Singh flawlessly personify Volvo's company values. I get my license in November 2008, and I promise that when the time comes for my Volvo, it will be from Carlsbad Volvo.
