Great pricing on a Subaru wrx, really appreciate Chris' help through the process. Make sure to double check everything just in case, the package listed was slightly different but it wasn't a huge deal in this particular car.

I went in after having looked at their website, and having found a car that I liked, a Honda Insight. After sitting in it though, I decided that it was a bit undersized for me. They had an Altima that was just about what I was looking for, so I gave it a test-ride. The sticker price was higher than the online price, but Remy, the owner, insisted that he would honor the online price. After a test-ride, I decided I loved the car and Remy and I began negotiations. I was paying cash, so I was able to haggle the price down to something we were both happy with. Weeks later, I'm still happy with the price that I paid, so I must have done alright. When finishing up the paperwork, I realized that I had forgotten my checkbook, and Remy actually had an assistant drive me back home to pick it up. As we were leaving the lot (an hour after they were scheduled to close on a holiday) we noticed an issue with the passenger seatbelt. It turned out to be nothing, but Remy told me to take it to his mechanics and they would take care of it. Overall it was a fantastic experience. You pay a little more to buy from a dealer, but with this dealership, I felt that it was worth it. I LOVE my new car, and I would recommend this dealership to anyone in the Chicago area that is looking to get a used car.

I bought a ford mustang and it is in great condition. I'm in love with the car and I would recommend to a friend. I tried several other dealerships to get a no credit approval and I had no luck until I heard about cars r us. And I had a lot of helped and drove off with my mustang.

I'm just a student and buying a used car is the best choice for me. and Cars r Us has the best cars and i bought a 2009 KIA OPTIMA with them so far so good everything works and runs good. I can't be more happy. Chris told me everything and he is an honest guy, and he made it possible for me to get the car despite the credit score that i had and plus im still building my credit. I would definitely recommend this Dealer to everybody who is looking for used cars.

After driving almost 2 hrs to look at a 2012 Nissan Ultima I was not disappointed. I tried to find every reason not to buy this vehicle due to the low pricing. One thing that stands out in my experience was the honesty. Chris was extremely honest with me as to the previous accident . I was able to view the actual photos before the cleanup and repair. This car was immaculate when viewing inside and out. It drove and handled well. After working with me on my numerous questions with patience as a salesman should when spending numerous dollars I decided to go ahead and purchase. After getting home I realized I left all my CDs in my trade-in which he has shipped out to me. The one thing that will always stand out in my mind was the honesty and integrity in which they handled themselves. This is always a key factor for repeat customers as well as new customers. The pricing on their cars are refreshing to see. Yes there are some rebuilts on lot too but they are up front In their advertising on those. Overall I was very satisfied with the purchase and the car runs great. I will definitely look them up when ready for my truck purchase.

I was a little nervous about going to a dealer that was not one of the big known dealers, but I am so glad that I did!! I originally went to get a car for my 18 year old daughter who was working fulltime, but not making so much. To our amazement they had several very nice cars. Every single car was in great shape and very clean inside - no seat tears or worn out interiors. My daughter picked out a really nice mustang. Chris was incredible to work with, he was very personable, and very nice. He treated us with respect and yet was very friendly and down to earth. He was able to get financing for my daughter with low payments, and a short term loan. We are so extremely happy with our purchase. So much so, that my 20 year old son and I went back the very next day to get him a car. Again, we were able to obtain financing for him with on a short term loan (which is what we had asked for). He picked out a very clean 2013 vehicle with leather interior, fully loaded and not a mark on it! It has been over a month since our purchases and nothing wrong with the vehicles and both of my kids are extremely happy!! I purposely waited to write this review to make sure I was still as happy as the day I purchased the vehicles. This was such a great experience that I am going to take my oldest there so he can buy one. It does not matter what your credit is - good, bad or no credit - they do a great job to get you in a vehicle. Definitely the best car buying experience ever - no games, no waiting for hours, no "used car" salesman tricks. They are straight shooters - you can trust these guys - they are straight up with you. No lemons...

I bought 2010 Honda CRV yesterday from Cars R Us. Before I made the purchase, I drove the car to firestone for inspection, everything is in good shape! Chris even put new tires and new battery for me. Chris is very nice and patient to customers, just like a good friend. Reliable person! Reliable car!

I visited Car R Us a few months ago since they advertise Financing Available, No Credit, No Problem, etc. I do have a good credit score and always pay my bills on time. My only problem is that a year before somebody ruined my credit file with numerous hard inquiries. So I told this to Car R Us and they said that since my credit score was good it should not be a problem to get approval. Guess what they denied credit plus now I have an extra inquiry in my credit file.

Brought my elderly mother to Cars r Us for a used car. Wouldn't usually go to a used car lot, but this place got good reviews on cars.com. Chris, the manager, was terrific. Very open about the selected car's issues. I took it for a ride and liked it. Negotiated a good price and my mother said she wanted to return tomorrow with a friend who has more knowledge about cars. No high pressure from Chris. She returned the next day with her friend who took the car on the highway and found a problem with the brakes. Cars R Us fixed the problem and Chris even brought the car to my mother's home the next day. He also ordered a manual for her and, when it arrived brought to her and assisted her with adjusting the seat. Terrific

I came across a Cars R Us internet listing while searching for a used car. What got my attention aside from happily finding all the pertinent details about the vehicle and lots of very good pictures, was that the price listed was totally inline with cross-checks I performed against multiple pricing sites. Based on the model, its year, and its condition, the price being asked was completely fair. This differed from many other searches I did on vehicles offered by other dealers. I contacted Chris who was professional, accommodating, friendly, and not at all pushy or overbearing -- quite the opposite of what I've come to expect from previous car purchase experiences. Upon seeing the vehicle he showed me the extra work they put into it -- new tires, new plugs and more. We negotiated a very fair deal and the buying process, as well as the follow up to get my plates, was fantastic. I would highly recommend Cars R Us to anyone! They are definitely worth a look!

I was recommended by my friend to this dealer, He told me they had really nice cars at decent prices. It was my first time buying a car and i didnt have a big down payment. I was able to get a 2012 sonic. It had took me three visit to make up my mind. Every time i came back they made me felt welcomed and not upset i had returned like other dealers made me feel. Remik was able to explain the finance terms in my native language Polish witch was even better for me. I am really happy with my first car. Really recomed this place to anyone looking to buy a car. I will highly recommend Cars R Us Chicago to anybody looking for a very good deal on a used car. For an inexperienced car buy looking to purchase his first car, it is already a very intimidating and doubtful experience. Fear of making the wrong choice or being conned; especially when looking for a car in a city as big as Chicago. But luckily for me I was able to deal with one of the best salesperson ever , CHRIS. Chris made the process completely seamless. He has been extremely helpful and I can confidently affirm that he is a trustworthy and reliable person. I have purchased a used Hyundai Sonata at an incredibly reasonable price compared to other dealership across the US. Anybody out there looking for a reliable and customer friendly dealership, Cars R Us Chicago is the place to be. Once again, I am very thankful and impressed by how quick and seamless they made the buying process. Up until now, my car is perfectly fine. I haven't had any major problem or even minor. My experience at Cars R Us was great! I called Chris before making the 2 hour drive since it seemed they had the car I was looking for. Chris was friendly and knowledgeable! Even though his internet was not working he worked really hard and followed up as promised throughout the day. I made the trek down and took the car for a drive. I inspected it myself and it was up to my standards so we settled on a price that worked for both of us. We finished up the paperwork and took our new car home! Since then I received the title as promised and the car is working wonderfully, my wife and I love it, and we're glad we found it at Cars R Us! Thanks to Chris and the owner, we have the car we were looking for right inside our budget!

Yes, I'm a real buyer and no, I don't have some ulterior motive to hype these guys. Here's my story: I wanted to buy a used Honda Civic in great shape without any mechanical or body problems. I looked at a lot of car buying sites (including Cars.com) and made a list of cars that fit the bill and were in my price range. I went to Cars R Us Chicago first and checked out the car. It was exactly as advertised. Chris, the salesman, showed me the CarFax, title, and prior owner's paperwork. He was up front about the vehicle being in a prior crash. Chris even drove the car to my mechanic to be checked out -- and it checked out fine: no frame or chassis damage, and the repair work was well done. That day, we tried negotiating a deal but couldn't agree on a price. So my search continued.... Here's the thing: every other car I checked out had real problems. They would look good in the listing ("clean CarFax!"), but when my mechanic looked at the car he'd show me flood damage or frame damage or other major problems -- and then he'd say, "You know, that first car we looked at didn't have these problems." It was frustrating to discover how many people will hide info to make a buck on a car. So after a week, I called Chris and we negotiated a price that made us both happy. 3 weeks later, the car still runs perfectly and I'm a happy man. Moral of the story: (1) before you buy a used car, have your mechanic check it out; and (2) give Cars R Us Chicago a try. Chris and his boss, Remy, are straight shooters. Thanks guys!

Ive never wrote a review online about anything but I feel I must warn you all after getting ripped off by this shady dealership! I spent $9,000 on a car at this dealership, of course they offered warranty which was 600 dollars more and let me say I am glad I did not get it because it woulda been a waste of money anyway. So the dealship guy calls us the next day and says "the car is due for an oil change bring it back and we can do it for you". He knows we live an hour and a half away so we did not want to drive all the way out to the north side of chicago for a simple oil change. So we took it to the nearest autoshop for an oil change and have the car inspected. The autoshop tells us that this car that we bought just the day before has over $1,000 worth of damages to it! Damages in which include, the ball joint, struts, spring, rotor and tires. The mechanic told us that if we would've hit a pothole or bump we could have gotten into a serious car accident.So the mechanic HIGHLY recommended that we DO not drive the car until it was fixed because it was too risky to take a chance and drive it. We called the dealer back and he told us even if we had warranty on the car it would not do anything for us because all the damages to the car are considered "maintenance". After hanging up on him from being overwhelmed and frustrated he repeatedly calls back and tells us "bring the car back we can fix it for a better price". Basically asking me to drive this dangerous vehicle and risk MY LIFE getting into a car accident to drive this car all the way to the north side of chicago for a "BETTER PRICE" seriously???? Also, none of these damages were reported in the car fax report, no accidents NOTHING! So were paying to get these damages fixed and moving forward from this headache that this rip off dealship caused. When we first arrived we mentioned the good and bad reviews CARS R US had and the man says to us "The bad reviews are people who have nothing better to do" Well guess what! Now that my car is in the shop for 4 days now I DO HAVE THE TIME TO WRITE THIS BAD REVIEW TO WARN ALL THE PEOPLE NOT TO LET THIS DEALERSHIP FOOL YOU. THERE PRICES ARE CHEAP FOR A REASON WHETHER IT SHOW ON THE CARFAX OR NOT!!!

A few months ago my car needed a city sticker but would not pass the admissions test. I loved that car but it was pushing a decade and it was clearly time to trade it in. However, I have an 18 month old baby and cars can be expensive. My friend urged me to call Remik the owner at Cars R Us and I did. Remik took hours showing me each car on his lot that fit my budget. He moved cars around endlessly so I could test drive all of them and helped me pick out the perfect car for my son and I. Since I know very little about cars he took the time to explain and discuss the differences between each car until I felt really comfortable with my decision He also helped me with the financing. The only thing the car was missing was a keyless entry system which Remik got for me free of charge and loaned me a mercedes for a few days while it was being installed! He even dropped off the warrantee papers at my house so I did not have to come back with my baby. The price of the car was more than fair as was the trade in on my old car. I will never by a car anywhere else. In todays world its beyond belief to find an honest car dealer who has a heart too. I cannot recommend him enough.

Was very accommodating. Asked them to take my used car to a mechanic to get checked out, and were really good about it. Drove 4.5 hours to buy the car. They used to be located on Cicero, and now occupy a new spot. I got a great deal, no complaints so far.

Looked at 2012 Ford Focus SEL. Car had a salvaged title from being in a flood. Dealer did not disclose. Lucky for me, I ordered the CarFax and saved myself from a tragedy.

Normally I wouldn't take time to write review but I think people should know how bad is this business. I called first thing in the morning to ask about a car they have advertised, one of the sales people I don't even remember his name, not only was rude and not helpful but he didn't want to give me any info on the car after asking him 10 times for any details. He said it's a clean car and if I want to Carfax I need to go get my self one. What he specified was that is a cash only car too. Despite how disappointed I was with him I drove for an hour hopping to talk to different salesman to help me out, to found out that that is floded car and the title it's not clear. I just wasted my day because some sales dude didn't want to give that details on the phone. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. YOU"LL BE SORRY!!

Called about a Honda Accord Coupe. First of all the guy was making jokes about me while I was discussing the price with, I could hear in the background!!! and he laughed at everything I said, and above all the car was priced at market value, BUT FOR A CLEAR TITLE, not rebuilt, and he wouldn't tell me that until I agreed to the price and come to visit his dealership. Very rude and they waste time. On to the next one, and ain't I happy to buy a 2006 Accord with 5000 more miles and with the same price and the title is CLEAR!

After having talked to the sales rep numerous times and going over different options on the car we were looking at-we drove 4 1/2 hours to purchase the vehicle. After test driving it we discovered that it did not have the cruise control, side air bags and traction control that was listed as options on the site. We did purchase the car but when we approached the company about splitting the cost of after market cruise we were blown off. Not a very good experience.
