Today was just amazing and fast! Earl did an amazing job with the entire purchase of my new F250! He went above and beyond, very knowledgeable and helpful!! Then, as I was about to make a down payment, Jim introduces himself to me, as he’s telling me the best news ever “I can get you done with no money down”! I did a happy dance!!! The entire process from test drive to signing contract was super fast and I honestly hate going to dealerships because it takes up your entire day but NOT CAVALIER!!! Thank you so much for the best truck buying experience ever!! Me and hubby are very pleased and happy with everything!!

Kristin and Brandon were so helpful , considerate, thorough and took the time to be attentive in searching for the right car within the price point I was looking for while making sure my wants and needs were met. Today was Brandon’s first day in the floor and Kristin not only took care of working with me, she also took time to show Brandon the ropes. She very much kicked butt today between multi-tasking in training and sales. Cavalier is going to have a great addition in Brandon...I was extremely impressed with his knowledge in all the features of the Explorers and in his general patience and understanding the process and never showed an ounce of being under pressure while being put on the spot dealing with a picky customer (myself) and training at the same time. I would definitely recommend Kristin and Brandon for your sales team! Additionally finishing up the paperwork with David Ponder made things easy and smooth on the back end..I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Cavalier beat out the other Ford Dealership in Va Beach by miles in all around friendliness and experience!

My family has bought 6 vehicles from Cavalier and the buying process has been amazing especially with our salesman Dave. However, since being our Escape we have had nothing but issues with the service department. We have taken the car in 6+ times for the same exact issue and the first few times they said nothing was wrong with it. Brought it in earlier this summer again and they said it needed a system update which we paid for under our extended warranty. Within hours of getting the car back we were having the same exact issue. My husband called and they stated to bring it back in and they would look at it. Well we dropped the car off and did not hear anything for 5 DAYS! We called daily and they kept stating they had not had a chance to look at the car yet. Well after day 5 and finally looking at the car then they stated a modular needed to be ordered. Well another few days went by and we still did not have the car. Once the car was finally ready we picked it up they tried to charge me again for my extended warranty deductible and we found both front door panels had not currently put back on. The very next day my screen to the radio went out for 15 minutes but continued to play music. Later that day we were back to the original issue. We called back and it took weeks to get another appointment. My grandmother took my car in for me because I was not letting them keep my car again and not provide transportation for me. They stated that once again I need another modular ordered. Here we are 3 weeks later and said part is still not in and my radio goes out multiple times a day. My husband spoke with someone and they stated the parts are being delayed and normally I would totally understand however this is an on going issue for over a year and I am very frustrated and never want to purchase another vehicle from this dealership and will make sure my friends and family stay away as well.

I purchased a car in 2015. It was totaled in 2016 and this dealership was the worst in providing the back up docs that I needed for insurance purposes. Very unprofessional and very unresponsive. I also brought my car in for an oil change and they said "You did not purchase a service agreement", when in fact I purchased a $4,000 Service Contract. Right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing in this place. Do not go there.

I Purchased my 2010 Lincoln from Cavalier 5 years ago, & loved everything about the car/sales side of things. However, this review is directed towards the Lincoln Service Department, Greenbrier area, which unfortunately has not been as rewarding. My issue occurred a few weeks ago when my coolant temperature warning light suddenly came on. Other than the warning light, no other mechanical issues occurred that would indicate a problem with my vehicle. It drove fine, no knocking sounds, no low oil pressure, no smoke...NOTHING! However, being a mechanic myself, I pulled over immediately (less than a min) and shut off the engine. Popped the hood, and checked the basics. All of my coolant was gone, & my oil did appear to look a little milky. No leaks on the ground, but I decided to take it in. The first shop did a diagnostics and said my water pump was bad, but suggested I take it to Lincoln. We had it towed to Lincoln, and they called the next day to say my water pump was bad & leaked coolant internally to my oil & I would need a new engine because the coolant wore my bearings. I refused to believe my engine needed to be replaced when no other indicators were present other than a coolant light. Livid with what Lincoln was telling me, we again had it towed, but this time to our house. We replaced the pump, changed the oil a few times to be safe, and did a few other things since we had already torn it down that far, & my car runs better now than before. Again, no noises, oil pressure is good, no leaks. When I drove my car to Lincoln and questioned them, my first question was how they could tell my bearings were bad? They said by borescope. Sorry, but no. A borescope will not tell you bearings are bad. However, it will allow you to see that coolant mixed in my oil which gave Lincoln the green light to automatically assume my engine was bad because this is a common problem with these engines. Even after I questioned them, the response I got was that it's standard protocol when this issue occurs. So basically, customers are purchasing $30,0000 vehicles, maybe more for an engine that might last 100,000 miles if you are lucky. Absolutely mind blown at this error in judgment/protocol they have in place. Lincoln can say whatever they want and continue to make excuses, but I am truly disappointed with their service and the way they handled things. I have been a loyal Ford customer, but after this I will never purchase anything from Ford Motor Company. In fact, I'm going to continue to post this review on every possible site I can find, & hopefully save someone else from this nightmare.

Without a doubt my experience in purchasing my new automobile from Mr Daniel Cumbo was the best I have had yet, having to purchase a car. Upon arrival I was warmly welcome and the staff and Mr Cumbo was very friendly. He showed me the vehicle and was very knowledgeable about it. He was able to demonstrate all the features and at no time did I feel pressure to buy. When it came time to make the deal it was so easy and done so quickly, for the first time ever after more than twenty years and many car purchases I did not have to leave and then come back before I could decide whether or not I was going to buy. They gave me the price I wanted and the deal was made in only a few short moments. Mr. Cumbo is very professional and has a beautiful personality. He is definitely an assess to the business. I will definitely be back for my next purchase and am going to not just recommend him to all my friends but I am going to recommend him to anyone who I encounter that is in the market for a vehicle.

Purchased a used 2010 car. Had 105,000 miles, so purchased a 3 year extended warranty to make sure we wouldn't have any large out-of-pocket repairs. Our purchase process was pleasant. When we picked up our car, a couple of days later, we drove it home and noticed the gas cap was missing. Who checks for a gas cap?! Purchased one the next day--not great, but pretty annoying to waste my time buying something the car should come with. Only given one key, with a promise that they would mail another key. Well, two weeks later no key, and told them about the gas cap too. Another week, told the key is in the mail. Noticed some heavy shaking while applying the brakes at higher speeds, and the engine does not shift well at low speed. Both should have been fixed before selling this car! Finally, 33 days later, we get an envelope from this dealership. Well, the left side of the envelope was completely ripped and no key. Nice to have the car salesman's business card still in the envelope, but nothing else. This does not give me much confidence in the "Sales Consultant" nor the overall dealership. Just my experience so far, I'm sure they can't be this inept.

I went in to the dealership at the last minute for an inspection. I was in and out in one hour. My technician, Thomas, was pleasent and explained point-by-point my state inspection and future recommended service. Not a hard sell at all, and I felt very comfortable. As a senior citizen, I felt good overall with the service. I'll be back without question. I don't feel like they were trying to "rip me off".

Cavalier Ford is the best dealership and service center around! They have the best customer service and they are so efficient.I have never had a bad experience there, and they are so polite and courteous. Aubrey Jamison is my service advisor and I have to say, he makes my visits there so much fun. He is the nicest guy and works really hard for his customers, I cant say enough about his professionalism as well, he is an awesome employee. I only service my 15' Explorer at Cavalier because of how the customer service is and the amazing service they do on my SUV. I also have to say I bought my Explorer from there as well because of how great of a dealership Cavalier is. I would recommend Cavalier to anyone and everyone! I know they have me for a lifetime customer!

Recently purchased a 2016 F150 from Cavalier Ford Lincoln Greenbrier. I had the pleasure of working with Georgy Berezin. I researched several vehicles I was considering before I started to test drive them. I was by most accounts a well informed purchaser from price to options to newest upgrades. I realized how much I didn't know when I started to talk to Georgy. He should work for Ford Corporate. He knew everything about the vehicle and was very helpful when it came to selecting options. The dealership did not have the model with the options I was looking for so Georgy helped me order the exact truck I wanted and kept me continually updated on its production and delivery schedule. Overall, I am certain I made the right decision to buy my new vehicle from Cavalier Ford Lincoln Greenbrier and was lucky to be assisted by Georgy.

I'm also very happy with the service department. They have always been honest about my service needs, and they take care of my vehicles promptly. I came in for a look at a car. At first, I was not sure. I waited a few weeks.I did some research. Buying the car was a great experience. The after the sales service is terrible. Service department is horrible. To hard to deal with. No return phone calls and keep getting passed around from one team to another. I have been trying to get our new 2016 explorer serviced for two weeks and still no forward movement. All smoke and mirrors when it comes to that part of the over all car experience.

While I have had several salesman over the years, the service department is the #1 reason I buy all my vehicles here. Sales may get you in the door, but service is the reason that you come back. It takes a lot to gain my loyalty and trust, and I don't go anywhere else once I have found it. I know that they have my best interests at heart and NEVER try to upsell maintenance item that are not needed. I have had the same service advisor for over 10 years and I know that I'm getting quality work done by highly competent mechanics that know what they're doing. Service advisors are empowered to make things right and provide loaners, car washes and other services as appropriate to ensure that I am satisfied with my experience.

The Edge is the second vehicle we purchased from Cavalier Ford using the website. Kudos to the Website. Nikki is our service advisor and she is the best. We are very cost conscious and she lets us know what service is coming up and the expected cost. This gives us time to "save" for the next maintenance. I purchased a new F150 and was told I would receive my first oil change free. I called on Friday and made an appointment for the following Tuesday at 10:45. I arrived at 10:40 and was told it would take 3 1/2 to get to my truck as they had unexpected/unscheduled work ahead of me. The service writer, Rebecca, asked if they could reschedule for the following week. I made an appointment, but then thought if they would treat me this way once, I could run into the same problem again. Forgot to mention I drove up from North Carolina for this service appointment. I decided I would contact the service manager about this issue. I called and was directed to Miss Cassie Hunter who was busy because I received her voice mail and could leave a message that would be answered before the end of the day. It is 8:30 pm. If this is the way customers are treated after the sale is completed I don't think I will be visiting the dealer again. Sincerely,David Sawyer

My F150 was done in a very short amount of time! Oil changed, tires rotated, multi-point inspection with written report faster than any visit to any dealer or repair facility in the last 20 years. Very impressive. Friendly people in the service dept too!

We took a car in for problem of pulling to right. Was given an estimate for over $2,000.00. Took it to another dealer and repairs were made for $450.00. Drives wonderful. Cavalier added in update to software, and brake lining etc etc. I guess when you work on piece work. You want to keeping adding things because the more you can charge the customer the more you get paid. The dealer we took our car to was recommended and does work on City trucks and cars. He was honest and did not add fluff to make more money. We had used Cavalier for over 40 years but in the pass year we have seem a decline the way they do business. I would tell everyone to be careful dealing with them. The service manager needs replaced. He is rude and talks in circle, when he will answer your call, and is unprofessional.

I was in the market for a new vehicle and had narrowed my search to two local dealers. Cavalier Ford was by far the most professional both in doing the business deal and the personal interaction. The quality of the service from the initial contact to finalizing the paperwork was first rate. The general manager went out of his way to ensure I was being taken care of and the follow thru from the entire staff was excellent. Is was the atypical car shopping and buying experience. No pressure no up selling no power negotiating. Just a great product sold at a honest and fair price. Could not be more pleased with the entire process. Cavalier is a first rate dealership.

I've had trouble with my Focus' transmission but the dealership and Ford have been very forthcoming with information and willing to do what it takes to get the thing working right. I have a Lincoln Navigator. I had it towed to the dealership on Sunday night, October 11th. I got a call from Melissa about 9:04 am on Monday. I didn't hear anything else from her the rest of the day. I decided to call about 4:15 and the department phone just rung, so I left a message. After several attempts to get through to service, I got a hold of Melissa. She stated that they had not gotten a diagnosis for my vehicle. They had it all day. I expressed my feelings and all she could do was apologize. She finally called me on Tuesday morning about 8:20. She gave me the same diagnosis that the tow truck driver gave me. It took a day and a half to tell me that. I declined the service, because I felt it was way too high and I was not happy. I called an left a voice message with the general manager, Ken Childress. Today is Wednesday, October 21st and I have yet to receive a call back. I also noticed that I was not given a complimentary car wash. The note on the receipt stated that the customer declined and will take a rain check. That is a bald face lie. No one asked if we wanted a car wash. I am very disappointed in the service that I was given. The Lincoln dealership has not been the same since James Church no longer owns the old dealership down the street. I bought my vehicle from this dealership, but will never give them any of my business. I will visit another dealership for my Lincoln services.

I dropped off my car for a recall service appointment. When I picked it up it had a "check engine" light. The light was not on prior to the service call. I contacted my service advisor, who has NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS, and finally was able to get an appointment through another team member. They charged me $124.95 to tell me what the check engine light was on for. They gave me the code and an estimate for $629 to repair the problem. When I had the code checked somewhere else (for free) the problem was a completely different issue. I tried to contact them about this and they are not willing to work with me, but are willing to perform the $629 worth of service. No thank you.

2nd visit here in a year. First time I was looking to buy a 2014 fx4, they couldn't get the price to what I would agree upon, also said finance wasn't approved, though less than 5 days later I got a letter from a finance company saying it was approved. Today I went to look at a new gt to replace my 2014 gt. Sales person says they don't let people test drive gt's. Guess they weren't interested in selling any. I live in NJ and flew all the way down to VA to purchase this vehicle. I was in the market for a very specific white convertibale 2015 mustang and due to the specifications, Cavalier was the only dealership that had this car with 500 miles of my home in NJ. My husband and I absolutely LOVED working with Sang Han, Sales Consultant. Our treatment was something I didn't think was possible when buying a car. I won't lie, I HATE buying a car, but Sang made it simple, easy, and thorough. I was most impressed with his customer service and going above and beyond. Our calls were answered immediately and all questions answered thoroughly.My husband is a UPS driver and does get home until after 8pm most nights. My experience with Cavalier Ford could be summed up as quick and painless. I knew what I wanted and my Sales professional, Bill Minyard, was able to find the car and get a deal done. There was no pushing to "upgrade" me or find a different car that would benefit the dealership in the long run but steer me away from what I wanted.All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with the experience as I haven't bought a new car in many years. You think buying a new explorar for almost 40.000 will make you not need to see the service people for a while.At 6000 miles the Car started making noises, windshield issues, the rubber make noise bacause the wind goes under it, the suspension started to make noise,break peddle started to make a noise also. took the car fur time to cavalier ford and no results.On top of the attitude I am dealing with, I was told by the service people that this is a commen issues with all the new explorers, and the sad thing is they don't have parts for theses issues! Believe it I left the car 2 days (apperantlly you have to hassle to get a loaner) which I still did not get.Picked up the car still not repaired, I was told the other part of the service was done ( changing the oil and tires) only to see the change oil messege to come up every 5 minutes, this place is a joke I bought five cars from toyota and never had to deal with anything like that.I will try another dealership to do the repaires, and after that this junk will go.

First off, I did NOT buy my car from them even though they are less than 5 minutes from my house, they were charging $20k over sticker for a shelby GT 500 which I purchased from Williamsburg ford. I decided to take it in for an inspection at 1200 miles and noticed there was extra mileage on the car. Called and talked to a few stuffed shirts who after some b.s. excuses said they would check into who took my shelby for a joy ride. Be careful if you bring your performance vehicle here because the "garage staff" may want to take it for a spin.

Do not return phone calls about a new purchase (Lincoln at 2 months), get the car finally for repair 2 weeks later after hounding them, don't get call back for update when they said they would, still awaiting yet another day for a call back. After crashing my vehicle because the brakes failed, I called Cavalier and told them I had no brakes. I was referred to a body shop because they didn't do body work anymore. The body shop didn't do mechanical work. My truck ended up back at Cavalier where I was charged $600 for a master cylinder replacement and to vacuum/bleed the brake line. I picked up the truck, brakes failed 2 blocks away. I brought it back, took them for a test drive. Got a call the next day that it would be $3000 to replace the hydraulic control unit and calipers because all of the rubber parts had been compromised by the fluid I put in the car before the crash. If you knew the wrong fluid was in it, why would you charge me $600 to repair 1 part only to tell me that it will be another $3000 to repair it all. Why nickle and dime me when I came to you for help. Why not be upfront and tell me the truth.I was told by customer service that I would not be charged for the inspection because I had to pay an additional tow service charge to get my truck back to them. Since I didn't write down the name of who I spoke with, I was told no such credit would be given. And all of the ladies in the customer service office just sat there shrugging their shoulders.My truck has been repaired and for half the cost but not by them.I will NEVER recommend this location to ANYONE.PS-I gave them a 2 on friendliness because they smiled when I arrived.

Went in to have our car's "free" oil change and they said they had to charge us for a tire rotation and a new air filter in order to get the free oil change. They charge $35.00 for the air filter alone ($8.00 at Walmart)!! That doesn't include the tire rotation and labor. They should never advertise this as a free oil change when people purchase their cars!! My husband took the keys and decided to do the work himself and save money. The manager (who wasn't available when he was at the dealership) called and was not helpful at all. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. The more people I talk to, the more I wish I would've researched before we bought our car there two years ago. There are dealerships out there that do offer the free oil changes for life without any strings attached, and I will be going there to purchase my next vehicle.

This was my third new vehicle I bought from Dave Cynar at Cavalier ). The first two were necessary work trucks (1996 and 2002), this purchase was for a vehicle I need but was unsure of what I wanted or what would fill all my needs.I shopped for two weeks and test drove 16 different vehicles. I was ready to go buy a different vehicle from another dealership and Dave called me to look at a used car they had just gotten in. He knew the new Ford I had looked at was not quite right for me but he kept an eye open for ones which might have filled my needs. He never gave me any pressure to "give in" or "settle" for one that was not right for me. I did not like the one he had called me about but we walked the lot and looked at many others, then we found one that finally yelled "buy me"! I drove it and fell in love with it- I had never thought about a used car until that day! I feel I got the best vehicle for my money with this Toyota Highlander than any of the other 15 new cars I drove! Very pleased so far, I hope my relationship with the dealership continues with this car as I intend to keep it many years. With my work trucks purchased years earlier I never had a need to visit Cavalier for service but I plan on it with this vehicle. Especially now with the dealership perks Cavalier is offering, not just gimmicks as I learned many other dealers offer.I felt no pressure from the after market sales or for any extended warranty products at Cavalier which is very important to me. I have recommended Dave and Cavalier to friends in the past and I will continue to advise my friends about them.

Went in for 'free' oil change. Turns out it's only free if I do my regular maintenance at the dealership. Could have told me that before hand. Anyway, $30 later I have an oil change and tires rotated. The next few days I hear grinding noises from the front driver side area. I take it in, ask them if they could pop the tire off and take a quick look. They said they'd have to keep it for at least a day. Kind of in a bad mood too. I went to Firestone. For ten dollars they figured out the problem and fixed it. Cavalier bent my backing plate, whatever that is. That allowed rocks to get in and grind away.

I had my father's truck worked on and service to start was not bad so I also booked my wife's car for a service. after being told the spark plugs went bad and a coil pack went bad 500 dollars later out the door (42,000) on the truck.. 18 hours later truck breaks back down different dealer looks at it because of being out of town and tells me I got screwed the coil packs and spark plugs were never the problem.. now back to the wife car dropped of Thursday night call at 8am, 9am, 10am 11am 12am no answer for the service personally and no call back they can kiss my butt I will never spend a dime there again I also set up the lease of a lot of work vans for my company that they will be losing THANK YOU POS CAVALIER

I went to Cavalier Ford to test drive the 2013 Fusion as I was in need of a new vehicle after having had mine for approximately 12 years. I was looking for something stylish with great features and most importantly dependable. After doing research the Fusion was one of my choices. I was on the lot for less than 10 minutes when Mr. Wilson approached and began to educate me on the various trim selections of the Fusion. He was extremely personable and unlike most salesmen I have come across, not pushy at all. This was something that I appreciated the most about the service I experienced at Cavalier. After my visit and test driving a couple of other vehicles that day, I contacted Mr. Wilson and as soon as he could I received a return call. The call was straight forward and to the point as it was expressed that I did not want to waste his time nor mine if we could not get the price within my budget. After all was said and done, they were able to work with me, offer financing and even took my VERY OLD car in as a trade in! I am now the proud owner of 2013 Fusion SE and I love it! I would highly recommend this dealership. Everyone was extremely friendly and customer service oriented.

Mr Odom was given the details of what I wanted and he delivered. We told him when we could come in and he was there in a matter of seconds. I have never had that experience when buying a car. The whole team was great from the seller, protection and warranty. This is the way all dealerships should be run, not sell and forget. I would recommend this dealership to all my friends. I recently leased a new Ford Fusion from Cavalier Ford. Jay Connolly was the salesperson I dealt with and he was great to work with. I explained to Jay that I was considering a lease as I do not drive that many miles per year anymore and he was very helpful in explaining how a lease works. I told Jay I wasn't sure which options I wanted and didn't want and he carefully helped me search through the inventory until I found the exact car I wanted. I don't think I've ever worked with a salesperson like Jay Connolly that exhibited such patience and professionalism. He showed me that my business was important not only to Cavalier Ford, but to him as well. On a separate note, this was my second purchase from Cavalier Ford and I've been pleased with the service I received from the Service Department as well. Many yrs ago I cosigned for my son's first new auto. Tim was our rep and he made Tom very comfortable working with him on the auto familiarization etc. I liked his manner-he wanted to help; not just sell a car. Tim has been in business many years and is a true professional. Tom lives out of town and I have retired. Every year we get a signed Christmas card from him although we have not purchased anything in years! That's what keeps customers! Should I get in the buying mood Tim will be the only stop I make because I will be treated fairly and he will insure I am happy with my purchase! My age tells me I will buy one more auto before passing on and I want the purchase to be satisfying! Tim will be the guy!

I am writing this review to compliment the Sales Consultant, Mr. Jay Connolly, who sold me our car yesterday. I would like to also mention I was impressed with other staff members, but only spent a very short time with them. Mr. Connolly was quick to respond to all of the questions I asked him giving me the impression of sure does "his homework" making him knowledgeable. He is encouraging, but not pushy at all. I was impressed with his attitude. He showed us numerous vehicles he felt we may be interested in and he went took extra steps to make sure my wife and I understood everything we needed to know. In summary Mr. Connolly is "the best salesperson" I have ever worked with and I am 67 years of age and have had contact with many. To me he is the best sales representative I have every met. I was impressed with his professionalism, presentation, knowledge, personality, sincerity, and I could go on and on. Something else he did that impressed me was stay after hours to thoroughly go over everything regarding our new car. He is definitely not a "clock watcher employee." When I asked him what he liked about his job he said; "I like making people happy when I am able to help the customer find the vehicle they want." And he did just that with us and we bought a Ford from him that evening. In my opinion Mr. Jay Connolly is to be recognized for the OUTSTANDING JOB he does in representing Cavalier Ford Lincoln Greenbrier. His salesmanship abilities certainly reflected a very professional image. I was impressed with his attitude and personality. He went beyond what I had expected and there is a genuineness in his desire to please and he sure proved it to my wife and I.

I **HATE** buying a car. Something that should be really fun and exciting was usually about as pleasant as a root canal--in fact, less so. I have been lied to and ripped off in the past--and as a old man, I never felt like I could let my guard down for one second while talking to these con artists, but Mr. Finn...He was the best,he was more then great . Cavalier Ford was actually my third dealership that I decided to stop at, but I am extremely glad I did. My wife, 18 month daughter, and I walked into Cavalier Ford about an hour before closing on a Sunday and we were quickly greeted by Danny McDermott. We were tired of getting the run around from other dealerships so it might have been obvious upon us initially talking to Danny, but nonetheless Danny was a professional while dealing with situation. We gave Danny all our requirements in a car and he quickly had a new Ford Flex brought out to us. The Flex covered all aspects of what we wanted in a vehicle along with the price that we were comfortable with. We made it clear to Danny that we wanted the most car for the least amount of money and that our monthly payment not going over a certain figure was very important. I am pleased to say that Danny did a great job into meeting with our goals in this aspect. Of the other two dealerships we we visited today Danny was the only salesman that stuck to what we wanted in far as price rather than trying to sell us a more expensive vehicle like the other dealerships attempted. Once the options and price were covered, it was time to test drive the new Ford Flex. Since my wife and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of moving our car seat from the other car to the Flex we took turns driving. Danny was a HUGE help in this manner because he helped looked after our 18 month daughter while my wife and I were testing driving the vehicle. My daughter was smiling from ear to ear while Danny was with her. Danny was a great help and was great with kids.After the test drive this was a done deal. We loved the car and we started the paperwork. They met all our financial needs and we definitely got the most car for the least amount of money possible. Also, I received the highest offer for my trade in vehicle, which even made me that much more happy. I am 100% impressed with the entire process and would recommend Cavalier to anyone looking to buy a new or used car and deal with people that truly know what they are doing with the customers interest as their number one priority. Finally, Danny McDermott was a true professional, but the entire team at Cavalier Ford were just as nice, helpful, and professional. I wish I had the names of all the employees I had contact with, but they were all great.

I visited on Thursday June 23 to buy a brand new vehicle. I left that day b/c I could not get what i wanted. I called Fri to buy a different new vehicle, and told Danny to put through my paperwork and tell me what kind of deal we can work out. No word Fri evening, no word sat....sun...or Monday. I finally call Monday, and asked Danny why he hasnt he called and he said he had 2 customers call already today and he was too busy to work on my paperwork. I feel I wasnt a priority at this dealership, bc if I was, he could have passed me to someone less "swamped" or called to let me know what was going on. Im in customer service and I just require the same respect and courtesy that I give to my customers. When I told Danny not to continue with my paperwork that I would rather find another Ford dealership, he just happily said ok. I called the dealership to complain and got a voicemail(surprise suprise). I would rather buy a NEW car from someone who cares about the sale. So much for #1 sales employee...........:(

Let's start with June of 2010. If you trade a car in make sure you get EVERYTHING out of it. If not, you will NEVER see it again. I mistakenly left my GPS in the car and it was stolen by someone that works at the dealership. I suspect whoever cleans the cars out. Yes, I know it's my responsibilty to remove my personal belongings, however, just know that somoene there isn't doing the right thing.Now on to service. You can buy a car and get free oil changes and state inspections for life. With those free oil changes they are supposed to top off all of the fluids in the process. They require you bring the car back to the dealership for all scheduled maintenance, so that if anything goes wrong with the enginge you are fully covered under that warranty. Okay, got it! But, why aren't they holding up their end of that deal? Who knows. I have left several messages for the General Manager to call me back. It's been months he hasn't called. Nothing!! I've bought two cars from this dealership. You think they would show a little more respect for their customers.

He not only found the exact Sport Trac I wanted but he has followed up with me on numerous occasions, he was even able to get a lock removed from my tow hitch when the previous owner wasn't able to find the key. I spotted a used car I was interested in on the web late one night and emailed Danny to call me about it. He called early the next morning but the car was already being looked at. Danny followed up and promised he'd look out for it. The next week he called to tell me the car had not sold so he held it for me to see. My wife and I saw it, loved it and bought it that night! The people were friendly and helpful throughtout with no big sales pressure. The price was also excellent.The last time I bought a new vehicle was at Cavalier Ford nearly 20 years ago and it was a pleasure doing business with them then. It's nice to see some things like good customer service and quality products are still valued at Cavalier Ford.

Due to a cross country move I found myself needing to trade in my car for something I could tow with last minute. Cavalier Ford had a used 2005 Toyota Tacoma I really liked and the whole experience was very pleasant.I've bought/sold around 8 cars in the last ten years and I was dreading the long purchase process but they were certainly the fastest I've worked with.During my test drive there were a couple of things I felt needed repair (A/C switch) and Cavalier took care of them extremely quickly.Due the cross country move because of mail forwarding and then temporary lodging at my new duty station I never received the original registration and got in a crunch needing it to register the truck and get base stickers. I called John Stark, the salesman who worked with me and he had a new one out to me in days. It was awesome.I was very impressed with John and the sales staff.My only complaint was the standard sales "extras" made by one of the financing personnel. The gentleman who did all the finalizing was wonderful but one of the intermediate people tried to sell me under coat treatment and other superfluous extras. I don't mind being offered these services in and of themselves as I understand that their goal is making money. What insulted me was how clearly unfamiliar the lady was with what she was trying to sell me.All in all I highly recommend Cavalier Ford. John Stark, with whom I spent 95% of my time, was awesome and beyond helpful.

John was great. I went into the dealership in early December to test drive different cars that I was interested in buying. He was patient as I test drove 4 different cars. When I was ready to purchase about a month later, I returned to John and Cavalier Ford. He once again gave me a chance to test drive the Mustang in a manual. Due to his listening skills, he was able to assist me in identifing a vehicle that met my needs in style, mechanically, and financially. This was my first experience with a Ford dealer. I was greeted at the door by Dave King in a very friendly and warm manner which immediately put me at ease. The Explorer XLT was what I wanted and I had to get one off the truck that had just come in as the first one I wanted was sold on the computer before I could get my order in.Emory Fuller, salesmanager, immediately told my salesman, Dave King, that a truck was just now coming in and that I should go out and look and see if there was one that I liked. I did and Dave very quickly got it in t he computer and I got my vehicle! The service dept. got my vehicle ready the same day while my wife and I went out for dinner for a couple of hours. Dave promised it would be ready at 4:30 when I got back and it was, with a full tank of gas! Dave took the time to demonstrate all the features with my wife and I.I was not pressured into anything and really appreciate the friendly efficient service in buying a new vehicle. The dealership was very neat and clean and I would not hesitate to recommend Cavalier Ford, in fact I have already recommended it to one of my sons who is in the market for a SUV.

The reason I am writing this is to make sure you salesperson gets the highest rating there is to get. Mr. Stan Wilkins has all the qualities to be an outstanding saleman. His customer service attitude is outstanding, he is friendly personality, his knowledge of his inventory and knowledge of the vehicles..He has made me and my family a true ford owner for life and will always come back to Cavalier Ford for all our needs in vehicles. If you not a 5 star company you should be, just by your salesperson... We have known Mr. Wilkins for years and it is like coming to a family member for our needs.. We have gotten our last 2 used cars from Cavalier Ford and they have been the best!!Every sales person yours or not will help you. I will say I was not happy with the lady who comes and trys to sell you the fabric coating/under carriage. She was not a friendly person. But as far as everyone else--they work with you and take the time to help you get what you want/need. Good deals, friendly people--best experience I have had buying a car!!

After a very disapointing trip to Greenbrier Dodge to look for a Challenger we decided to go to Cavalier Ford in Chesapeake. Both me and my wife were so happy by the experience that I couldnt wait to get on here to post a thanks to the guys that put us in our new Mustang. It was quick and painless.
