My current lease is ending and I am looking to lease a new SUV. I went to Central Ave Nissan to check out the Rogue. From the beginning I told the salesman that I wanted a quote with nothing out of pocket except for first payment and DMV. He went to his sales manager several times and gave me a quote that looked good. We looked at several vehicles, and I spent 45 mins of my time there. I had no intention to buy a car at that time, but the deal was good so I said ok, I gave my credit card to the salesman so we could finalize the deal. A few minutes later he came back and said "oh by the way, we need a down payment of $2995 to give you the numbers I quoted " . I told him to give me back my credit card and walked out. Nobody should ever buy a car from Central Ave Nissan!

Overall, this is not a bad service center IF YOU DOUBLE CHECK THEIR WORK. They have wifi and usually have bagels and coffee and overall the staff is fairly friendly once they more or less know you.Have gone here multiple times for oil changes and here's what you need to watch out for:(1) They promise that they will do a multi point inspection but they rarely actually do it - most of the time they will mark everything as great and at some later point when you do service it will spontaneously be in urgent need for repair. Why advertise that you will do a multi point inspection and not do it? (This happens every time unless I get on their case about it). Also, you need to get on their case to have the printout attached to your bill. They'll usually say the printer or computer is broken but if you press it all things will miraculously fix and you'll usually get an all clear report because the mechanic never did the multi point check (see my earlier point). Be on their case!(2) As part of an oil change they promise to top off your fluids. Again, this rarely happens also. I did a test of this once because I was running low on windshield washer fluid and had to do an oil change that week. Figured I'd not top it off and see if they do it. Low and behold, I pickup my car from the oil change and the windshield fluid is low. Brought it to the attention of the service guy and he first made up excuses like "we don't top all the fluids - just some of them" and eventually twiddling that down to "we only replace windshield washer fluid". So why do you say "all fluids" in your advertisements? Anyway, he did eventually refill the windshield washer fluid but it wasn't worth the hassle for a $2 bottle of windshield washer fluid.(3) I am not confident about the quality of the fluids they put in your car. Last year I went skiing and while driving to the ski resort my windshield got road salt residue so I washed it using the windshield washer the dealership put in. The glass kept freezing up and I had to get out of the car every few miles and defrost the glass because it was turning into ice. This usually indicates that a cheap windshield washer fluid was put in mainly consisting of water and very little (if any) anti-freezing agent.(4) They say that an oil change is a "Quick Lube" but it has never taken less than 1 hour, sometimes 2 to change the oil. If you ask them to check on a squeak or a rattle it could be more than 3 hours for an oil change and a squeak check. I once asked why it takes so long for an oil change and was told that once you report a squeak it is a completely different game and it is not a quick lube anymore. Maybe my definition of "quick" is different.

I had a pleasant experience at Central Nissan, my vehicle needed some work and it was under warranty.At first I wasn't sure if I had to pay for a rental. BUT Jeannette Ramirez was so helpful and accommodating that I was able to use a loaner car and get to work.I was very firm AND TOLD THEM I did not have to pay the diagnostic fee. I was not pleased with New Rochelle Nissan, they try torip you off and drive up unnecessary costs, so I am pleased I went to Central Nissan in Yonkers.The gentleman who handled the process of getting the car in the shop was also very nice.

Manager requested my debit card and promised there would be no funds debited. Then they stole $500 and now refuse to refund it. My bank attempted to rectify the matter, but Nissan refused. Now I have to waste time filing claim in court.

Donot bring your car there for any warranty repair they will blow you off then try to charge you a 115 diagnostic fee their mechanics are a joke i took my car their because heard a knock from the engine for a 2011 maxima which is still under warranty tried to tell me was heat shield causing the knock at idle also when i checked to shield was never touched claim they fixed the shield which was never broken also my struts are leaking fluid the struts on this car in front are gas i advised so called service advisor jeannette ramirez there is a tsb for nissan maxima 2009-2014 #1 main bearing causing noise she completely ignored me tried to squeeze money out if me for bogus diagnostics. Took my car to another dealer today they confirmed the the tsb and diagnosticed the engine knock pertaining to tsb NTB12-071a and will make the repair take my advise dont take your car to them they have incompetent mechanics and greedy service advisors also the strut they claim was blown wasnt the problem was the insulator

Had appointment for car inspection at 8 am they took my car st 8 am into garage where inspection is done . I waited in waiting area . My car was not touched until 8:33 am according to my papers. At 9 am I asked what's taking so long , the women working there said because of the age of your car my car is 2012 with 18 ,000 miles WHAT kind of answer is that ? She said it will be another 10 mins . When done at 9:18 am going to pay they said my car was being washed WHAT ! Want to leave spent to much wasted time Car inspection takes 15 to 30 mins . Never again !! To much time and too much money

I love Nissan cars and this dealership is near my house. I am very pleased with the car and would recommend -- my third Nissan in 30 years. They last forever! Wonderful cars! However, the people in this Yonkers dealership are not respectful of customers unless you are willing to finance at a high rate. If you pay cash, you are chopped liver -- here's your car, 'bye, see 'ya, I have to check my phone now. . . I don't need their friendship, but I was shocked at the attitude. When you first walk in, they roll out the red carpet, but once you finalize the contract you are history. I know they are there to make money, but still I was really shocked. The people at Jerry Rome Nissan in CT where I bought my last car were so lovely and followed up. My salesman was nice, but he was low man on the totem pole and the managerial staff was appalling. I guess if you pay cash they really don't want your business. And if there is an advertised special, it is only if you finance. I haven't bought a car in 10 years and really was surprised at the way I was treated. I hesitate to send this, because the sales person did his job well, but the rest of the staff needs some customer service training, in my opinion, and I would like Nissan to know this. I would not recommend this dealership for that reason.

If there is one thing that matters to me is customer service from step 1 to finish. I went to central ave Nissan getting a car, the sales rep did everything in his power to get me a great deal! But it wasn't the color of the car I wanted but I was trying to settle for something I honestly really didn't like. But I was willing to do it at first! I gave $500 deposit and my first question was" is it refundable"? The answer was yes if I don't take the car. Throughout the whole weekend I was trying to settle for something I didn't want, color wise and price wise! I decided not to take it and GUESS WHAT? All of a sudden deposits AREN'T refundable. I was told by sales manager Sam I signed a contract? I never signed a contract nor sat with the finance manager and singed a final contact! The paper I did sign was a receipt saying I gave a deposit! ( well at least that's what I was told. I don't understand how a company like this will do anything like this to anyone! This Nissan went being the best at service to the worst. Next time when you want to slip and slide a paper "and it's a contract tell the customer". I wouldn't recommend this Nissan to anyone! And if deposits aren't refundable tell the customer and every since last customer that's it not! I honestly hope the 500 was worth it. If you want to make sells, BEING HONEST AND SINCERE would be my best advise! I was even told by the sales manager that if I was to write a review he would reply saying I signed a contract! But yet again I was never told that the receipt was a contract! (If I had signed a contract I would of took the car from your lot, when I didn't.)I'm really upset that they were that title "Nissan" because they are stealing from people and making Nissan itself look really horrible.

I don't know how anyone in this place got hired with their attitudes and lack of basic respect for their clientele or knowledge! They don't do their jobs and have zero courtesy or consideration for their customers nor do they have any interest in helping them out. The manger is rude, arrogant, clearly not qualified and extremely disrespectful! He and his staff in service are terrible at their jobs and take zero responsibility for their lack of ethical work. They are negligent, incompetent and worst of all money hungry. I don't know how they are still in business with people like this there. I feel bad for the owners. Never again and I will warn everyone to stay far far away. I would give them 0 stars. Worst experience of my life. Steer clear.

Purchase a used car they said they would fix all that was wrong with it before i pick car up.But 3weeks later still going back to dealership. Gave me car with airbag light on.headlights didn't work. Bubble on outer tire. Noise in front end and no splash guard on right side front. Water getting into engine compartment. Wanted a car so I didn't have to go through this.

Despite Central Avenue Nissan being my local dealer, I decided I would avoid it due to their sneaky and dishonest website where there cars are listed for a nice low price in red letters. Only to read elsewhere on the site that this is the price after you pay $2,995. Really? Who falls for this? By doing this those prices in red lettters are also the low (fake) prices that attract people on cars.com and other websites to their dealership. Once I immediately saw this when I began shopping for a car I decided if that is how they advertised then imagine the other tricks they play on people when making a purchase. So I avoided them. After visiting a few Honda and Nissan dealerships this week and receiving offers for my trade in from each of them I decided I was going to make a purchase this weekend. My goal was to find a good certified vehicle for a fair price and get a fair offer for my trade in. Once I found the right one I was going to get a babysitter for the kids and come back with my wife so she can see the car before signing papers. After all this is not a t- shirt we are buying it is a $25,000 car. Unfortunately I went against my gut feeling and decided I would go to Central Avenue Nissan being that they had certified Rogues that matched what I was looking for. I found a car that I really liked and wanted to negotiate however Central Avenue Nissan refused to negotiate, because I told them that I would not be leaving them a deposit until my wife came back the next day. I simply wanted to know how much they would sell their car for and how much I would be offered for my trade in. Despite the dealer looking at my car he refused to give me a price only telling me to come back when I am willing to put a $500 deposit down. I explained to him that I did not have time to waste and would not be returning unless I had a price for the car I was buying and for my trade in. (I think this is pretty reasonable) He went to speak to his manager and then told me that they would give me any where between 9,000 and 11,000 for my car. "Really? Well which is it?" I asked. "My car is outside can someone take a look at it and give me an accurate offer" He said I told you between 9,000 and 11,000. He continued to repeat this every time I asked for an accurate offer so I can speak to my wife and make a decision. He said they would be willing to do so when I was willing to come back and give a down payment. I told him that I would not be returning and walked out. He chased me out the door and told me to come back in and speak to his manager. I told him I was not coming back in but that if his manager was willing to actually negotiate then we can talk. (After all I was very interested in their car) After a few minutes he came back and said the offer still stands "anywhere between 9,000 and 11,000 dollars. (Really? a 2,000 dollar range is all you can offer me when my car is right there! I even offered my keys and told him to take it for a drive, so I can get a price) I quickly got in my car and drove off, completely confused and in shock that this is how they operate. Central Avenue Nissan simply feels they are smarter than everyone else, Beginning from their horrendous website tactics, to the point where they will not give me a price on my car until I aw willing to give a deposit. They must make a mint of money deceiving people into giving that non refundable deposit only to have the deal fall through afterwards. In fact it is so important to their business model that they are able to allow a ready, willing , and able buyer out the door. I have worked with many dealerships in my life and have purchased many cars. I feel that Central Avenue Nissan may be the worst of them all with these tactics. Customers should avoid at all costs, and if you do decide to shop there please beware. Do not give them a deposit until you have all the numbers in front of you and be sure that they are guaranteed in writing. Understand however, that if you are an educated buyer they might just let you walk out the door.

I came in for an oil change/filter and tire light. I didn't purchase my car here and that is a lesson learned. They treated me life I did and made sure I was well aware of all their benefits. WONDERFUL! I could have not asked for a better way to start my day! Having my vehicle serviced at Central Ave Nissans really does show the type of attributes every dealership show have. Literally, from the moment I walked in I was treated with the upmost respect! And their technicians are REMARKABLE! The technician who serviced my car was such a sweetheart. I had leased my car from Central Ave Nissan a little over a year and a half ago. My job just relocated me into the city where there is no need for me to have a car. This was my 1st lease and I was panicking about what to do with my Altima. I wasn't planning on paying insurance along with a car note for a car that I wasn't going to be using. I called the dealership to see if the sales person who leased me my car was there, to see if he could help me. He was no longer there but I was put in touch with Tara. I explained my situation and she explained to me, in great detail what my options would be. She was very knowledgeable about the lease turn in process. Apparently things like this happen all the time. Long story short, I had come by to the dealership to turn in my Altima, and Tara had taken my plates, my dirty plates, off for me. She was kind enough to put them in a bag for me so that I wouldn't get dirty myself. She informed me again on what the next steps would be. I was in and out within 15-20 minutes (we chit chatted for a bit). Tara was such a sweetheart and she made this process painless. I have some friends and family in Westchester, which I plan on sending to Central Ave Nissan to work with Tara. Down the road, if I do need a car again I will be sure to go and meet Tara. Thank you again Tara for all of your help, I really appreciate it!!!!

Placed a down payment at Central Ave Nissan after being assured that my ordered vehicle would arrive within 3 weeks. 5 weeks later, there is still no vehicle and no ETA on its arrival. Salesman says he has "no idea where the vehicle is currently, but he thinks it went to Korea." Zero communication provided by the incredibly rude and incompetent sales staff. No action to proactively provide me a refund. When I requested the contact info of the dealership's management, I was literally told that he "does not have e-mail."This dealership is truly a waste of time. The sales staff is dishonest and unhelpful. I'm amazed they are in business.

I bought my car there two and a half years ago, great dealership, super friendly felt like I was dealing with family. Not just buying the car was a great experience but each and every service trip I have been met with outstanding customer service. They are very attentive and make sure all my needs are met each time I bring my car in. The rewards program they set me up with is also very rewarding, and they make sure to remind me to use it, which saves me a ton of cash. Every year around the anniversary of the date I purchased my car I receive a phone call from the same salesman that sold my car to me, asking me how I am and how my car is doing, offering to help me with anything. Overall I would recommend this dealer to everyone!

My husband and I came in to buy a used modern car. The salesman didn't pressure us but he was very professional. The fact that he wasn't pressuring made us come back. We had been to other dealerships but the customer service was rude and obnoxious. The vehicle is in good condition and it made me very happy when I drove it home. I would recommed Central Ave Nissan to anyone who wants a well maintained car and a good price.

Have been bringing my Nissans there for 2/3 of a decade. Was recently upset with my local Kia dealerships and decided to bring my Kia in to Sterling who took it in without an appointment. He is always honest and helpfull explaining options so that even an ignorant laymen can make an informed decision. I decided that they would do this and all future work on my cars. Not the cheapest, but you can't place a value on the money saved by not being conned into extra work.

I have owned a bunch of different cars everything from a Ford Escort to a Range Rover and this dealership has some of the nicest sales people working there. My salesman Lucus was great! I told him exactly what I wanted and how much I was willing to spend on a monthly payment, and he made it happen. He even got me top dollar on my trade in. The finance guy made sure he offered me all the warranties, accessories etc. but was not at all pushy. All around it is just a great dealership with plenty of seating with tv's and coffee and bagels/muffins while you wait. I'd recommend Central Ave Nissan and especially Lucus to anyone in the market for a Nissan.

FELT THAT I WAS BEING SLIGHTED BY THE DEAL AND REQUESTED MY DEPOSIT BACK NOW I HAVE TO WRITE A LETTER TO THE OWNER EXPLAINING THAT I FELT THAT THEY REALLY WEREN'T GIVING ME A GOOD DEAL BECAUSE I CALLED AND ASKED OTHER DEALERS AND INSURANCE PEOPLE. THE FIRST CAR I BOUGHT WITH THEM I PUT DOWN A LARGE DEPOSIT 8,000 AND I THOUGHT THAT THEY WOULD CUT ME A BREAK AND TRY TO WORK WITH ME ON LEASING A VEHICLE AND NOT HAVING TO PAY SO MUCH NO THEY ARE MONEY HUNGARY AND THEY DON'T CARE WHO THEY MANIPULATE OR GET OVER ON AS LONG AS THEY GET MONEY FROM THEM. The experience at Central Avenue Nissan was superior to any car buying experience in my car buying history. We came to Central Avenue Nissan on a recommendation. We had lost two cars due to Hurricane Sandy. Deelerships on Long Island only cared about making a sale. One sold a car out from under us. Nicole made us feel respected from the first phone call. She was patient, knowlegeable and compassionate. She was respectful and had a sense of humor. I never felt rushed.Everyone at the dealership was friendly, asking if they could do anything for us while we waited. Charie, the financial manager, was easy to work with. Even the young man who drove us to return our rental car was polite and respectful. The dealership should be praised for their above and beyond policy. I love my new cars and will return to Central Avenue Nissan for future purchases!

I walked into Central Ave Nissan to look for a new Altima. I dealt with Tom Antidormi. This guy is the nicest salesman I have ever met. I have had some bad experiences with car dealerships. They lie, beat around the bush, put you through hell etc. Not this guy. He was AWESOME. I'd recommend him to anyone. I have not one complaint... Very happy customer here :)

Please all Customers Avoid walking in this dealership, I highly Recommend to go to new Rochelle or White plains. This Dealer is a big scam Do not Leave a Deposit. I Left a 500 dollar deposit on a 2012 Rogue, I knew the deal was not what I wanted but I was pressured and forced to go for the deal. When I approached the sales manager and stated I lost my job and that I cant afford the car that I was going to lay low until I get everything under control the Manager had threatened me he was going to call his attorney and that I WAS NOT GOING TO GET MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE I SIGNED A CONTRACT!!! I did not sign a contract I signed a Sales form which in fine print has I am allowed to get my deposit back.

It's not like me to jump on my computer and write a post about anything, but somebody has to know about my experience. I had the worst credit imaginable. Every dealership I visited treated me like a champ when they met me and like a chump after they ran my credit. These guys at Central Avenue Nissan were friendly, compassionate, and actually genuine. 1st time I met honest salespeople. (They also got me a better deal than anybody else!) I would shop there as long as they're in business and I suggest you do the same.

My wife and i were in the market for a new vehicle. A friend recommended this Nissan dealership. When we first got their we were greeted by Danny. He was very friendly and made a good first impression. He took us for a test drive on a rouge and we did not feel any pressure at all. He made the car buying process much easier than any other dealership we had visted. The dealership and Danny took the time to work with us and at the end of the day we left with a new vehicle. We are very happy with the sales and service we received and would return when it's time to get a new car.

I recently purchased a 2012 Rogue from Central Ave Nissan and couldn't be happier. I am usually not comfortable with the whole buying process but my sales consultant, Mark Kaplan, made the experience an easy one. Mark took the time to explain the options available on the Rogue, then took me on a test drive to make sure I was comfortable in the vehicle. I was in the market for a Nissan vehicle and was recommended to Central Ave Nissan mainly because I was told they were courteous, professional, and would get a good deal. From the minute I walked in I was greeted by several salesman and was directed to the front desk, the receptionist was very pleasant and introduced me to Ludwig who would be my salesman. I was undecided between a Maxima, Sentra, or Altima; Ludwig was very knowledgeable of the vehicles and explained to me in detail what each car had to offer. He was even nice enough to take me on three separate test drives, I felt no pressure what so ever and felt as if I was speaking to a friend instead of a pushy salesman like some other dealerships. After numbers were discussed and finalized I had a very pleasant experience with Scott the finance manager, I picked up my car the same day, and I am loving my new Altima. I would recommended this dealership to my friends and family.

I found the car on Cars.com and my email was returned with a call the next day. Tara answered all of my questions over the phone and after she set the appointment for me I came in that weekend to test drive the car. I was able to negotiate a fair deal and havent had any issues with the car. Pretty painless experience if you ask me.

DO NOT LEAVE ANY DEPOSITS AT THIS DEALERSHIP!!!First, All the red flags were there for me not to deal with this dealership. I wanted a 2010 Nissan Rogue with the 360 package. One particular feature I wanted was an USB port. I researched this car and none of the research founded resulted in them saying the 2010 Nissan Rogue had an usb port. However, when I contacted Central Ave Nissan and spoke to Mr. Charles White, he reassured me that the car did come with a usb port. He said it was in the glove compartment. I said oK! He arranged to have me picked up and taken to the dealership. When we got there he said he made a mistake the 2010 Nissan Rogue did not come with a Usb port. So basically he misled me! Second, He told me to leave a $500.00 deposit on the deposit slip it clearly stated non-refundable. I said the form says non-refundable, he said no you could get your money back. So I believed him and left the $500.00 deposit. Third, I told him that I did not want to go over the $23,250 for the price of the car again he reassured me that everything was included i.e. sales and destination charge and installation of the Usb port. I was quite happy. However, the next day I found out that was not the total price of the car. The total price of the car over 72 months plus sales tax was 26,117. I was angry, again I was misled. I called them and told them that I did not want the car. The next day they withdrew the money from my bank account. I was furious. I spoke to the manager Mr. James Rourke and he told me to write a letter explaining the reason for wanting my refund back. I sent and email and a certified letter and it has been a week and I have not heard from Central Ave Nissan. STAY AWAY!!

I would never recommend this dealership to another person. Although I purchased a used car from them, I had such hassle in the extended warranty that they added to my finance plan without even asking me. It took 3 months for them to finally refund the money to the finance company. It was such a horrible experience. Not only was purchasing the car a horrible experiance, I feel every time I bring my car in for a service, they are just ripping me off. I've never spend so much money on maintenance, and this car is only a year old. The service people try & convince you on pruchasing all these different service packages, which I believe they don't even do half the things, rotate the tires, etc. Once I collected my car and on my way home, I noticed that there was no windscreen solution, like were thet not suppose to top off the fluids. It just really makes you think, what else they say they do, but actually dont. DO not buy a car from them, go elsewhere. Service is horrible and you feel like you are being ripped off everytime you go there.

Central Avenue Nissan was the worst experience I have ever had in an attempt to purchase a vehicle. I spoke to a salseperson and told him exactly what my expectations were for down payment and monthly payments. When I found a car that I liked we began discussing the price. He made it seem like it was affordable and would get it as close to my range as possible. I was willing to go above what I told him as I did like the car, but the numbers began to get outrageous. We agreed on a price and discussed a payment plan which I had agreed on even though I was overpaying. The financial specialist was the worst experience of it all. The finance got out of control quick as he attempted to sell me a warranty on the vehicle and would not take no for an answer even after I flat out said no and had to be persistant. The numbers were much higher than I had agreed on as it was difficult to get a loan as it was an older vehicle. I left the dealer after putting down a deposit of $500. The more I looked at the numbers, the deal was looking much less appealing. After having a family friend look at the vehicle (not that the vehicle was in bad shape as it was in great shape) and some discussion I realized that this was not the vehicle for me. I loved it, just could not afford it. I told the salesman that we had no deal and he went to the manager to see what more he could do. He wouldnt do much for me so I declined. After I left, the salesman and finance guy called me contuing to pressure me into purchasing the vehicle. I finally had to ignore their phone calls after saying no several times. On top of it, they took my deposit as it does say in their policy that there would be no refunds on deposits. Horrible experience with pushy salesman looking to take advantage of people!
