I would strongly recommend Certified Motor Cars. The team was more than willing to assist and guide us though the buying process from the time we test drove with Thomas, until the time we finished up the paperwork with Lisa and Roy. We not hurried through the test drive, and all our questions were patiently answered without the feeling of being pressured or rushed. Upon purchasing the vehicle, all paperwork was ready for us, and we were able to drive off as soon as we signed the necessary documents. Very happy with our decision to purchase a car from this dealer.

Needed a car for my mom, and saw a 2002 Mercury Sable on the certified website, the pictures looked good and it only had 49,000 miles on it. I thought there must be a catch, but as it turned out it was a a very nice care that had barely been driven, the engine looked brand new and the entire car was very clean inside and out. We dealt with Thomas who was very nice to us and held the car until we brought out our own mechanic by to look at and drive the car, They also let us leave a very small deposit to hold the car for us once we decided to purchase it. there was never any pressure whats so ever from them for us to buy, and he explained everything to my mom that she needed to know about the car and the process. It was one of the best no nonsense car buying experiences that I have had. We were lucky to find such a good used car in great condition from a very good dealer. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality used car. Thanks again Thomas for everything.I really appreciate how nice you were to me and my mom. She's really happy with the car.

I just purchased a 2003 Mustang Gt from Certified MotorCar. I had seen the car online and it was one of the most reasonably priced Mustangs online. I went to go see the car in person and was happy to see the car was in just as good of condition as the pictures. There was no huge scheme to make money off me like most used car salesmen do. I was allowed to take it for a test drive and examine the car as i pleased without being pushed to buy. I dealt with Roy's son directly who helped me with the sale and made the process go extremely smooth. They were honest and upfront. I would definitely purchase another car from them and i would recommend them to anyone in search of well priced clean cars and great service.

Just recently purchased a 2003 Acura RSX from Certified MotorCar and am very happy that I did!! I got a high quality used vehicle from them. Roy (the owner) assured me before the purchase that his own mechanic has given the car his blessing and assured me that there was nothing wrong with it. He was right. I had my mechanic go over the entire car and he told me that I had purchased an outstanding vehicle. Roy sold me a top notch used vehicle that I plan on enjoying for a very long time to come. His employees are very friendly and I had a wonderful buying experience with absolutely no pressure. Must be a reason why Roy has been in this business for over 30 years. They are honest and friendly. I would certainly purchase another vehicle from Certified MotorCar and I plan on telling people to check them out first if they are in the market for a used car. As a matter of fact, I already did. They are not your typical dealer. Even better than new car dealers that I have been to in the past. Go and check them out.

I was in the market for a vehicle. I am a bartender and a nursing student. I was looking for something to get around that would be reliable. I called about a 99 Subaru Legacy and Roy told me he still had it in stock. Thomas was my sales rep. As I came in I was greeted with a firm handshake and everyone said hello. I went to the dealer and looked at a very nice looking 2003 VW Golf. Everything seemed fine, the body looked great. I turned on the car a couple of times, and nothing seemed wrong with the check engine light or anything. After a couple of more tries of turning on, however, the airbag light would not come on and the check engine light came on shortly after. I told the guy about it, and he gladly said he would take it to the shop to see what was wrong with it and it would take a few days, and that he would call me after everything was all fixed up. After a week, I kept calling to see how the car was doing, and they kept saying they would call me when the car was done being checked. I was getting beginning to become suspicious, so I called off a different number to see if they car was actually in the shop or still broken on the lot, and they said that the car was still on the lot! They lied to me the whole time about the car being in the shop, and they tried selling the car as it was, even though there was something wrong with it! I would never come back here again. Terrible service, and complete liars.

We came to an agreement on price, and i believe i came out with a good car and a great deal. Location is not the greatest, But they have good cars and good people on staff. Purchasing my car here was probably the best decision I could have made when shopping for cars. The salesmen are very honest, I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of a first time car buyer during the entire process. I felt bad at first when buying the car because it was initially intended for the ownersson but that feeling immediately went away as soon as I drove off the lot. If they have the car youe looking for I would highly recommend that you stop by and purchase here.

Their highly competitive prices are so good I flew 900 miles just to buy from them. I was at first hesitant committing to buy a car sight unseen but Roy was very informative and honest about the condition of the car that he eased my mind and I knew I made the right decision as soon as I saw the car in person. They even had the oil changed, replaced the battery, and did the front brakes AFTER we agreed on a price for the car and they didn't charge me a penny extra. Dave and Sal helped me finalize the sale and both were friendly, helpful, and extremely funny. They're not your stereotypical car salesmen; they're honest guys you'd like to have a beer with. Only regret is that their dealership isn't closer to WI.

I just found this car online and got it shipped to me in Colorado. Sight unseen. I paid for a 3rd party inspection but was a little wary of the fact that Certified Motors doesn't have a website. Seemed like a scam. I talked to Bill and Roy several times, and after doing my due diligence (again, this was bought sight unseen) I can say that I would not hesitate to buy from these guys again. They were very professional and accommodating. They even let me keep the car on their lot for over a month while I arranged shipping. Thanks Guys!!!

Certified Motor Cars, LLC gave my wife and I a great deal on our 2004 Subaru Impreza Outback. Our experience has been absolutely positive and I would recommend buying a car from their dealership. Their listing was accurate and correct and we did not find any surprises when we went to look at the cart was worth the trip for us! We had a positive feeling that we were getting a good deal as Sal and Roy were great to negotiate with on the deal. I live in Philadelphia and their location is very convenient to NJ transit line to New York as I was able to get there on my own with only a two (2) block walk to their store! Their group with Sal, Roy, Bill & Brian make you feel confident in your purchase...when car buying can be a bit rattling at times. I will definitely look through their inventory when I ready to replace my other vehicle in the upcoming months/year.

Certified Motor Car gave me a great deal. The price of the car was fair so I did not attempt to negotiate a better deal. I spoke with all of the sales guys (Sal,Roy,Billy)and they were all friendly, professional,and most of all straight shooters which is most important when purchasing a car. I drove from Scranton PA to purchase the car. The car was in great condition. The further south you go the better condition of the car. The dealer, although a small dealership, gave me a great deal and was worth the trip. You cant go wrong with these guys...They answered all of my questions openly and honestly.. I would go back again.

I live in Northern Michigan and never visited the dealer location or saw the car I was interested in, in person. The price of the car seemed too good to be true, however it was true and I could not be happier with the process. Sal and Bill are great to work with and provided perfect customer service. They assured me I would not be let down when the car reached me and I was not. From the first call to loading the car for shipping the process was smooth. I wired a deposit and a week later when I wired the rest the car was shipped. I received the title prior to the car reaching me so I could have it ready for the road immediately. The car itself was a 2005 subaru model that was nearly flawless. The leather even smells newish. Thanks again Sal & Bill. If I ever need another I will search your inventory first.

I made a deal with his son on a car 5 days prior to the purchase. I did not leave a deposit and thankfully nobody else came to buy the car. On the day I showed up to purchase the car, the son was out of town. Turned out the car supposedly was worth more than what we agreed on 5 days before. Sal had to call his son in Boston to verify there was actually a deal. Once that was done, he honored the deal albeit a bit reluctant because he feels he was loosing money on the deal. Nonetheless he concluded the deal and the process was smooth. These guys are all friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The car is as good as advertised. Would have really appreciated if he had gotten the Plates and registration for me because I did not get the title for another 8 days, ended up paying an extra $25 at MVS, not a bad deal nonetheless. After several phone conversations I drove four hours to look at this car. Sal & Greg greeted me at the door; showed me the car; drove it around Elizabeth. The whole experience was a # 1 pleasure. Drove four hours to look at and finally buy the car. All of the guys at Certified were polite and helpful. They are retired State Police Officers, so I was comfortable that the dealings would be straight up, honest and without any BS, and is was. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in the good deals they offer. I would advise AGAINST trying to "put one over" on them. Don't look for a fancy show room. You come to buy a car; not sit in their furniture.

They sold us a bad car whose engine failed after 2 weeks of purchase. No service after that. We feel cheated and upset. I will never go back there again or recommend it to anyone. We trusted them and this is what we get. We are just taking this as a lesson and moving on, but never again with this dealer.Please do not get fooled by the cheap or "affordable" prices of the high end luxury cars here, and if you do want a car from here, please get it checked by 1-2 mechanics (not their mechanic) because they will lie to you. I hope no one else gets cheated ang thugged as we did.

Sent a security deposit on a car. The sale was not completed and I was assured the deposit of 500 would be returned as the car was sold to another buyer. Was dealing with Roger and have tried on several occassions to contact this establishment with no success. I assume I will not get back my deposit but felt it neccessary to let the public know about Certified Motor Car LLC. Very low opinion of this establishment at this point.

I had a very good experience with this dealership. They are very professional, honest and they went out of their way to please me. The car I bought is exactly what they advertised and it runs beautifully. They are highly recommended. Alan

I bought a car from Certified Motorcar, they were so nice to do business with and very accomodating. As a single mother, buying a car is a very intimidating thing and the guys at certified made me feel 100% comfortable with my purchase!! I love the car, thanks again! We will be back...

Looking for a minivan

I drove two hours to look at one of this guy's used minivans. When I got there one of the doors didn't work on the van and a tire was flat. Then when I asked to take the van to a mechanic HE REFUSED. He says he NEVER lets his cars be taken to a mechanic. Needless to say I walked away. WATCH OUT FOR ANYONE WHO WON'T LET THEIR CAR BE TAKEN FOR A MECHANIC TO IT CHECK OUT. Any honest, reasonable dealer will let an independent mechanic check out their cars. Save your time and go somewhere else.
