We just picked up a new Silverado and wanted to write this review of the excellent service we have gotten over the years at Champion ( formerly Waldecker's) in Fowlerville. Trudy Gross is a great person to work with and has always been very helpful in finding the right vehicle for our family. She is knowledgeable about the cars and trucks we have bought and has the always gone the "extra mile". We appreciate all people we have dealt with over the years, including the service department as well.

I bought a new silverado in September. Was told I get so many oil changes on the house. I travel all over the country. Got home at noon today drove up to Dealer for a oil change. Was asked if I had an appointment. Said no. He told me next appointment is at 2:00 then 3:00. I said it is 1:30 you can not get me in? Was told maybe 3:30 or 4:00 could work you in unless someone cancels. Said last time I came up was not a problem. Told today have to make an appointment or no oil change. Could careless for your service or way this was handled. I was not told need to make appointment for oils changes until today. Like is said last time walked right in.

When I found myself needing a new vehicle, Champion Chevrolet and Trudy Gross are both amazing! Trudy was knowledgeable, honest, and above all accommodating to my busy life. Trudy handled everything for me while I was at work. The excellent customer service that she provided is rare. Trudy was able to get me into my new Traverse in less than 8 hours start to finish. I also am very appreciative for Matt in Service and really feel like is my new best friend! He is also so friendly and consistently looking out for my best interest.

We bought a certified preowned Acadia with 64k miles. After owning the car for 14 months it has been serviced 4 times at the dealership & 2 times outside. Power steering problems, hatch lift issues, all brakes and rotors needed replaced after 4 months of owning car, all wheel bearings replaced one by one, abs & stabitrack lights are currently on and we were given an 1,100$ estimate to fix today. We talked to a sales manager today about our dissapointment on what their 172 point inspection must have missed when we bought the car. He could have cared less, even when we told him we were looking to get into something else at his dealership! Horrible customer service and lack of faith in their inspection process will force us to shop elsewhere! Steer clear!

I had looked at other dealerships and other brands with no luck. Even some of the other Dealerships owned by this group had just not worked out. They were great here. They got me what I wanted from another dealer for less money and treated me like royalty. It was a very positive experience and I highly recommend this dealership in Fowlerville. Love my new truck.

I was very satisfied with the help I received from Chris Davis. I walked in undecided and he patiently presented the pros and cons of many models as they would relate to my needs. Clearly described the various finance options. I felt Chris went out of his way to get me the vehicle I would be most comfortable with, both driving and financially. I bought a used but "new" car to me last August and I can't express how great of an experience it was. I was so nervous and wasn't sure if it was going to work out or not but Jake Provost was so helpful. He made my car buying process through a dealership (for the first time ever) very smooth. I inquired about a used car on the lot and was discussing terms with Alicia. She emailed me the next day to let me know after thoroughly going through the vehicle, it had too many issues to sell to one of their customers so they were sending it to auction. They saved me a gigantic headache! And are still helping me try to locate a vehicle.

Pluses: - I like my new car and am glad I bought it. - The salesman I worked with was very nice considering the circumstances. Minuses: - Released car to me with 1/4 tank of gas. - Car was not washed before released. - Will not take 3rd party checks (never had this happen before when buying a car at a dealership and it caused a huge hassle at the time. Was told it was "the law". It's not.) - Check the fine print on the pricing - charge for "window etching"

I was looking to restore my credit rating and buy my college-bound daughter a more reliable vehicle. Honestly, I've never owned a GMC or Chevy before and I'm a young 50 yrs old. I was a downriver Ford guy. Knowing the numerous hits my credit rating had taken over the last 14 months, you know I was just waiting for the punch line during this purchase. Well sir,I could typically roll you outta here in a GMC TAHOE in the color you wanted, but you'll love this chevy metro that does come with all 4 wheels and an engine. See, I'm also in high risk,secondary consumer finance and have been for over 28 years, I just dont sell cars,but I do deal with customers directly everyday and work with them to restore their credit and provide service to their product. Peter H.,from day one when we met,never made a promise he couldnt keep,and never said "no" to anything before he said "I dont know, but lets TRY". WOW! I thought, a used car guy telling me "let's try", there had to be a catch. I wasnt yet sold on GM,but I was sold on "Peter",I read his story about his passions,his kids,his wife,and his birthplace that sat in a binder he had sitting on his desk while I waited for some information. I explained to Peter exactly what would suit my daughters needs,what I could afford,and all the details. Peter,served us up hot coffee,sharp humor,shared his story, and get this one-LISTENED and recalled everything we discussed. Truthfully, at one point in the transaction I was thinking on all the angles I could to get him to work for me in the Metro Detroit Area. Peter also introduced us to Jim Rice in the Brighton Office who is the special finance guy who made this affordable for me. Since our original sale with Peter H.,I have purchased one car and two more SUV's from these guys, my daughter is happy, I'm elated with my Acadia(nicest ride I've ever had). When we've had service concerns, I wasnt told "no", I was told "let's try"- and have been happy with the result everytime. As most folks, I work hard for my cash,I want to spend it where I'm getting a return on my investment. I purchased my last vehicle on a Saturday arriving at the dealership at about 9am, I left at close of business about 6pm that night- totally entertained, happy, and impressed with my ride. Peter H. & Jim R. worked the deal til it was right for me, man----------impressive ! For me, it's not about the GM or GMC, it's about the PEOPLE WHO STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCT, GM you're a lucky company ! Peter H.,is now special finance guy in Fowlerville,and Jim R. is in Brighton office. THANKS GUYS FOR TAKING CARE OF ME WHEN I NEEDED YOU. !!
