The agent Rene was very helpful and friendly. I took my vehicle in for a recall repair and Rene was the only person that greeted me and apologized for the wait. The only reason I am giving this rating is because I didn't really feel comfortable nor welcomed. The wait time was long, no one offered water or a chair and for the most part it seemed like everyone was in a bad mood.

Took my vehicle in yesterday for an oil change and tire rotation. I got a cup of coffee, sat down, and before I could even get comfortable in the waiting room my service was complete. Close to 30 minutes in all. I could not believe the speed and thought perhaps this was a joke, "An oil change and tire rotation at a DEALERSHIP this fast???" That's exactly what it was. So great service from a friendly staff who I can clearly see work as a team. Thank you!

My Acura RL was recalled for it's airbags, and the process of 'getting it done' was dead easy. Make an appt., drive up, talk to serviceman, wait for about an hour, 15 minutes, drive away with new airbags, and a freshly washed car! Perfect! Thanks!!!!

The salesman was rude, I wasn't informed about a financing issues and I had to go in myself and fix it. Not to mention they tried to get me to pay more after I had already put money down. Over all rude people and terrible experience with sales.Service was GREAT!! Not a problem with them at all. Everything with service went without a hassle and I loved that but sales needs some serious work.

The service we received at Chapman was efficient and timely. Our service rep, Christopher Crawford was excellent. He greeted us by name, knew what we were there for, processed our paper work quickly and accurately, invited us to have seat and coffee while he took our car for repairs. He also answered several questions concerning some operational items on the MDX. He was pleasant, courteous, with a sense of humor.

Although we dread the process of buying a new car, my wife and I found the process to be easy and almost enjoyable at Chapman Acura. The selling process was very low pressure and Michael was very friendly and enjoyable to work with. He was interested in our goals and made every attempt to meet the price we wanted for our trade-in and the new vehicle. The only problem we encountered so far was that an option we had ordered (cargo cover) was ordered in the wrong color and I am waiting for the reorder.

The service department went above and beyond to help me get my sunroof fixed under warranty while stationed out of country. My sunroof was sticking and they tried fixing it a couple of times but I had to move to Germany before they could complete the job. And although there aren't any Acura dealers/service centers in Germany, Steve G. communicated with me via email and mailed me the right parts and instructions for a local Honda service center to complete the repair, then had Acura reimburse me for the labor costs. I couldn't be happier with this level of support. Thank you!

I had been searching for several weeks and requested not to be bothered too much by the salesman before I am ready to purchase. Mr. Brett Williams, very much respected my wishes, and instead was extremely helpful at any moment that I requested. My husband took our 2010 MDX that we purchased in August of 2013 from Chapman Acura in for its first oil change since the purchase today August 1st. He informed me that we were charged $20 for our tires to be rotated and he also paid for the oil change as well as a new battery. Our vehicle has only 15,000 miles on it and is in very good shape.I called to inquire about the tire rotation fee and Joe answered the phone and was very friendly and suggested I speak with Steve who is the manager. I told Steve that we had an Acura TLS years ago when Beaudry owned the dealership and we were never charged to have our tires rotated. He said it has been policy for several years to charge for it so I must not have had the tires rotated. I stated that yes we had the tires rotated and even had a lifetime of free oil changes with Beaudry and he still insisted I must be mistaken. Why would I be calling in the first place if I was mistaken?? My husband confirmed when I got home from work today that we were never charged for a rotation so I think Steve is the one who is mistaken. I even remember the name of the salesman that sold us the TLS and it was Sean Wood. I got the impression from Steve that because I was a woman I must not know what I'm talking about which wasn't appreciated.We have never been charged anywhere for a rotation so were surprised at the charge for something that takes 15minutes max with power tools. I was reminded by Steve that we are paying for the technicians time. We are now living in a sad world that "nickels and dimes everything"

Shortly after I left an email message with Chapman Acura enquiring about a car that was for sale, Brett contacted me and I went straight to the showroom for a test drive. Brett was right there, had the car parked in the front, I looked it over and got straight in for the test drive. Brett answered all my questions and he had absolutely no problem with me taking the car for an independent inspection the following day. That evening Brett and office staff were still working in the show room and after about 30 minutes of filling in forms the car was mine. Couldn't be easier! The car is great and I'm enjoying driving it.

Made a service appointment ( first 5000 miles ) and reserved loaner car. Approximately an hour before service time , received phone call fromDon who advised that " no loaner cars were available " but that I could " wait for it ". I declined his offer and expressed my disappointment with Chapman Acura service.I did get a phone call about two hours later where Don offered to call me if a loaner became available that day, ie wait on Chapman to let me know when THEY were available to service my car.This is NOT a " luxury car experience " as per MBZ, Lexus and/or BMW.

This was one of the worst experience I have had with a dealership. Totally unprofessional and unethical. Brought the car in as the transmission was slipping. Acura pitched in with half with price for a re-manufactured transmission and I took care of the other half. The transmission was changed in 3 days and I took the car back home. The next morning, while I was leaving for work in my other car, I noticed some fluid under the Acura. I pointed the same out to the customer service rep, from Acura, who had called me later in the day asking about the transmission change service and was told to take the car back to the dealership whenever I can. Took the car in the next day, during lunch, and was told by the other service (I guess another) manager that since Steve (the service manager was not present & was the guy who was handling this) he would not look at it and I would have to scheduled another appointment. The appointment was for the next day, around 11:30 AM. I got there and did not find Steve. Upon asking about Steve I was told that he had headed out for lunch with some exec from Acura. So we scheduled another appointment.In the meantime, I checked all the fluids and topped off the steering pump reservoir as I found that to be low.Finally got to meet the elusive service manager who after raising the car said that the following needs to be changed:- The oring that seals the steering pump- Oil pan sealThe job was quoted at ~$2,000 and that the oil sump threads will need to be redone (which would be extra) because the engine oil was leaking from the drain plug.The fact that there was not a single drop of oil on the garage floor under the car before the service & I was pretty sure that the leak now (after the service) was not engine oil (because of the color)I asked them why didn't they detect the leak before working on my transmission and the reason for the car to start leaking fluid immediately after I had it's transmission serviced. Didn't they notice that there was some fluid leaking under the car and have the basic courtesy of informing the customer who had spent $2,200 on a transmission job about it? They had no answer and the service manager showed me a document showing that the technician had marked it earlier and he had forgotten to mention it to me.I took the car back home (and called Acura and gave them an earful). Raised the car up the following weekend and decided to check for the leak.Found that the hose (acura # 53733-S3M-A01) had some oil on one side of its connection. Replaced it, did a steering fluid drain and fill and called it good.No more leaks. The car has always been bone dry (before and after the hose change) and has had no problems other than the transmission(and that's a given for an '01 Acura). The fact that it developed a leak after being serviced and told to shell out another 2 grand to fix a problem that could be fixed by changing the hose did not leave a (good) impression about the dealership.5 months after the fix, I haven't had a single problem with car. I will never go to this dealership and will like to warn other customers to avoid it like a plague.

So much for the "Luxury Experience" I was promised! Two times in a row there have been no loaners available for me with an hour or longer wait; once for a scheduled service and the other for a car defect. They know they're the only Acura dealer/service in Tucson so you're pretty much stuck with what they have to offer, which is a crowded waiting room with decent snacks. The only reason they get a Good instead of Poor rating is because everyone there has always been really friendly. However, part of the reason I purchased an Acura instead of another Honda was for that luxury service they advertise. Don't expect that at Chapman in Tucson...

I recently went to Chapman Acura for a minor service visit. Everything went as expected, and Steve was helpful as usual. Why the bad overall experience? For the third time, I had change stolen from my car's change holder. The first time I noticed change missing after a service visit, I did not connect the two. After the first incident, I decided to record the exact amount of change in my change holder before every visit. Sure enough, I had change stolen, again. I wrote an e-mail and spoke to Larry (who was my service advisor at the time) who expressed concern and indicated that it was most likely the detailing department that was to blame. The third time, on 05/07/2012, I counted my change before my service visit. After my car was brought back, I counted the change, and sure enough half of my quarters were missing. I spoke with Steve right away, and he also mentioned the department that does the washing as the culprit and told me to tell him at my next visit so he can try to figure out what's happened.What really bothers me is no one really seems that surprised this happens. Is theft acceptable at Chapman Acura? What if my iPod/watch/wallet goes missing next time, is that just the detailing department's fault? Sorry, but if I give you the keys to my car, you are responsible for what happens to it, you can't just point the finger at someone else and walk away. If I would be in charge, I would immediately go and find out who exactly washed/vacuumed the car, and interrogate each employee to find out who keeps stealing things from the dealership's customers. I don't care if it's a penny, theft is theft and is not acceptable on any level. I really wish the service department would take this seriously, because otherwise they seem like good people to work with. For everyone else, count your change before your visit and see if you get it all back. Unless I'm the only one that keeps getting things stolen, I bet you'd find a good chunk of it missing.

The headlights are always turned off and not put back on auto when finished. I brought this to their attention and was basically dismissed as not important. This is a safety issue and should be corrected. I found the employee regarding the request to be unacceptable. Steve does a fine job but was busy with another customer when I made the comment about the headlights. I do not know the name of the service rep who I spoke about the issue with.

I purchased my Acura new in Oct 2010. On March 7, 2012, my vehicle failed to start in the parking lot of the grocery store. After several unsuccessful jump starts, I purchased a new optima battery at walmart in order to drive home. I brought the vehicle into the Acura service department the following day to have an inspection because I do not understand why I already needed to replace the battery when my vehicle is only 1 1/2 yr old/ 22k miles. (In the past, I have purchased Honda and Toyota and neither vehicles required a battery change within the first three years.)When I brought my car in to Acura I worked with Steve in the service department. Steve was extremely friendly. He called and kept me updated on the progress of the service. I discussed my frusteration with Steve regarding the replacement of the battery. He informed me that in Arizona it is common to replace batteries yearly. I completely disagree with this statement. When I got home I reviewed my manual and noticed a four year battery warranty. I am completely disappointed because this was not mentioned to me while I was at Acura. I feel I purchased my vehicle with a defective battery. I offered to bring the original Acura battery to Steve and he said it was not needed. I ended up spending $90 purchasing a new battery while my original battery was still under warranty. This is horrible customer service and I have lost confidence in the Acura service department.

I was never informed that the tire rotation was an added expense until I reviewed my invoice. My pre-written notice and the service managers reply when I asked if tire rotation was included with the oil/filter change, he stated it was. Never mentioned that it was an added cost. I was informed balancing the tires was an added cost not the rotation. I can rotate the tires myself, Free of charge.

Every time I have dealt with Chapman it has been a good experience. I had a few questions when I picked up my Acura on how to operate a radio and phone function and Jeremy showed me how easy it was to use the functions. My son has purchased two Acuras from Chapman and his mother-in-law has purchased a Honda CRV from Chapman and all of us are pleased.

I had to take my car in twice to do the same job. They DIDN'T tighten the bolts and my car drove like it had a mind of its own ! It would jerk into other lanes. I was lucky the nuts did not totally fall off and I did not crash ! If you want half a** quality of work and have time to waste waiting to get your car repaired again then you found the right place.

Everytime I take my vehicle for service at Chapman Acura I feel like I'm treated as a second class citizen. I've had more work done on my vehicle there in the past year than I'm sure many people do, but the staff does not treat me as a valued customer. I have to beg and pull teeth to get a loaner car - and end up driving some Honda loaner car that they "scraped up" for me. I am spoken to like I know absolutely nothing about my vehicle, and when I have issues with my warranty the associates I've dealt with don't try to help me solve anything or find an alternate solution.

We had a problem with a chirping noise. Acura opened up the front panel and determined that a screw came undone. There was no charge for this service even though the car was few months after warranty had expired. We're soooo happy!! Thanks Acura/Tucson. You're the best!

I know the economy has been really really bad I just didn't realize the repair for the same thing done in 2005 had doubled. YIKES! Thus the OK rating on price. I was disturbed to find a long scratch on the driver's side after I got the car home from the service visit. I did not notice this scratch before I left the car for service. It could have been there previously, but I wish someone in the service department had made note of this scratch if it was present before they started work. Makes me realize I need to be more cautious about examining the car before I take it in for service. Again, I can't really say the scratch was made during service, but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. The sales manager told me that the vehicle that I was purchasing would meet a certain standard. After working all day, I drove two and a half hours from Peoria, AZ to Chapman Acura only to find out the the vehicle was in terrible condition. The Sales Manager (Brandon) knew the vehicle was in terrible shape and chose to not tell me about the vehicles condition. When discussing the issue, Brandon became arguementative which was not appreciated. He then agreed to make the repairs to the car that we discussed. The Internet Sales Manager, Jeremy Willard, oversaw the repairs and kept me abreast of everything that was going on. He was by far the most outstanding representative of Chapman's sales team.I took possession of the vehicle on 6/25/11. Since then, I discovered that Chapman forgot to complete the front end alignment that was suppose to be done when the new tires were put on the car. In addition, Chapman sold me a vehicle with a broken Bluetooth system and a blown subwoofer. These things were discovered over the course of the first few days that I had the vehicle. I then took the vehicle to an Acura dealership close to my home to have the vehicle assessed. Chapman should raise their level of conditioning for their vehicles. I also believe that the vehicles should have to go through a quality check prior to being released to consumers.

I've had Acuras for a long time (Legend, TL and RL) and have dealt with three Acura dealers over the years, mainly in Los Angeles. They have all given great service, but Chapman Acura in Tucson is the best I have experienced. This was my second service on my 2011 Acura MDX and I have a few things that need to be mentioned. Acura likes to be compared to Lexus, Mercedes and BMW and is worthy of it. However, service is a world apart. 1. When I call I have to leave a message (they do call back but, its not always convenient when they do.2. When I purchased the car I was promised a loaner for service but, it seems like a putout and they try to talk you into waiting. I can see 15 or 20 minutes NOT two or three hours! (Since when does an oil change and service take hours, its like they make an appointment but, simply add the car to the normal flow). I have to admit, I am sorry I purchased the service package frankly.3. When I purchased the car I was told specifically that when the oil was changed at the dealer, they only use FULLY synthetic oil, not the case, verified this service. I also found out that the Cabin filter is not only not checked but not included in the service.4. The service drop-off and waiting areas are stark, and outside has a constant flow of cigarette smoke from the sales force hanging around. Not what I expect from a high end dealership. The Honda service waiting area seems nicer than the Acura (purchased a new Honda from you some years back). I only mention all this because I know what to expect from a service department and this process needs improvement.

I have been an Acura customer for many years. This is my second Acura, and it is 13 years old, so I MAY be in the market for another one some day. I have had all my service done at the dealership, even though we have had a few disagreements (like when I had to replace the steering column because a small plastic gear broke, and it could have been replaced). Overall, I have been happy with Acura personnel and get along well with all of them, and I feel they are truly committed to giving me good service.

The service was fine, I think the price for the oil change is a little bit high. Your dealership is the only Acura dealer around. I have nothing against your dealership, but it is a long drive to get there from where I live. It takes a hour to drive for your service. I don't see that your dealership ever really offers any promo offers for service. I was wandering why?

I was greeted when I arrived and I was given an estimate for cost and time when repair would be complete and it was done on time and budget. There was no pressure to do additional work. The car was delivered after being cleaned. Joe described the work that was done and followed up to make sure that I was satisfied and that everything was ok with the car.

We went to two different independent mechanics to have our Acura looked at and they eventually recommended the dealership. We don't usually use dealerships for our repairs but I was pleasantly surprised by Chapman Acura. They were prompt, professional, and cheaper than what I was accustomed to paying at an independent mechanic's shop. They also narrowed down the problem and had better information about how to fix our car. Great job!

I had an appointment time and arrived a little early. They took my car for servicing immediately. I went to the waiting area and read the newspaper. Before i could finish reading the newspaper, Steve came in and said my car had been services and washed, and was ready for me to drive away. This is really quick service and always with a smile.In my Owner's manual, there are spaces to have the services performed at the dealership logged into the manual. This is the fourth servicing of my new RDX, and previous service notations have not been entered by the service department. Steve noticed this and took my manual into his office and updated all previous and current services performed to my RDX. Now I have a full service record for my new car. Thanks again Steve.There was a very nice young man who wrote up my service record initially. Unfortunately, my old mind has forgotten his name. He was very pleasant and checked out the wear condition of my tires and directed me to the waiting room. Very nice initial impression for the dealership.

The dealer service area opens early and closes late which is nice because I have time to drop off before work and pick up after work. On Monday April 25th I drove in with a dead battery, and immediately three Chapman Acura employees including the Service Manager came to the rescue. They quickly tested the battery, diagnosed the problem, and the parts guy (John Szewczyk) quickly pulled a brand new one from stock, and in a matter of minutes they had the new one installed, and I was out and on my way. Since the dead battery was still under warranty, there were no charges or fees. I was really amazed how fast, efficient, courteous, and thorough everyone was- I thought it might take hours to fix me up. Great thanks and praise for the Chapman Acura team!

I had been having service on my 2008 Acura TSX done at the Honda dealer only five minutes from my home on the NW side of Tucson, for convenience. The last time I went to them for an oil change, they told me I needed a timing belt and there was small hole in the condenser leaking fluid and it would cost $840 to fix. While my TSX has 107,000 miles on it, it does not even have a timing belt. They wanted to "fix" my A/C right there and had the parts to do so. I declined.At Chapman Acura, they took care of the maintenance I wanted, confirmed there was no timing belt, and twice, at my insistence, looked for a problem in my A/C and found it working perfectly with no leaks. They were courteous and clear with their answers.

I have no complaints. Everything went smoothly. I went in to have my timing belt replaced and two new motor mounts installed. I was provided with a rental car for twenty four hours. The repair went according to plan and I was able to pick up my car the next day.

The first contact I had with the dealer was to make my service appointment, I got transferred twice before someone was willing to try and help me. Joe Casanno answered the phone, as I tried to explain the problems my car had and how the last time I went to get a problem fixed, the dealer didnt have the part available all he could do was sound annoyed and tell me he would transfer me to parts. He failed to take any extra information down other than my name and what time my service appointment would be. So to get to the dealer I have to drive 3.5 hours when I get there I am received by Steven in service and a tech named Josh, both very friendly and helpful. Steven takes my info and all the problems with my vehicle; they are able to get most of the problems fixed except for one because they dont have the part in stock to fix it. I am unsatisfied because if Joe had taken the time to listen to me and perhaps be able to advise me that the part needed to fix one of my problems needed to be ordered or that they didnt have it. I would have perhaps saved myself a 3.5 hour drive. The other thing that bothered me was that as I picked up my vehicle I noticed they left the windows open and the interior of the car was filthy with dust. I just wanted to leave to get home so I left unsatisfied and with a dirty car, this dealership could have left a better impression on me but they didnt and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Chapman should have a Senior Citizens discount. I used to get a discount from my previous service employee but Steve would not give me one. I think the prices are high and I will be contacting some other shops to get the price of my 105k service down to where a 70 year old on Social Security can afford it. I like going to the dealership as they are otherwise good to me and my 1999 TL. I bought the car new and she is like a trusted friend who has never failed me.

Joe welcomed me by name, confirmed the service, cost & time to completion. I went back to the customer waiting area which was clean, TV running with coffee available. Only issue is to repair my radio/6 disk CD changer would have cost over $450. I can get an after market radio CD player with MP3 interface for far less installed. Not what I had envisioned doing but I will do what I have to do. On a positive note Mr Joe Cassano provided outstanding service and was clear about about was needed and forth coming and detailed about the all the repairs. His candor was refreshing please pass along my thanks to him.

Steve was patient and thorough. Originally I had thought the starter needed to be replaced. But Steve tested the starter under different conditions and found it to be working properly. I am thankful that I did not need to pay for my incorrect original diagnosis. Over the past 2-3 years, I have taken my Acuras to Chapman for service. The service is consistently excellent. People like Steve, Joe Cassano, and the parts person (can't remember his name- a youthful young man) have provided very courteous service. Because we have owned five other Acura cars, we did not think about visiting another dealer. We have been extremely happy with our Acura cars and were now thinking of changing from a TL to a RDX.
