Just brought home my first Chevrolet Equinox! This is my third lease and by far the greatest experience leasing a car. We had Ronnie as our salesperson and he was an absolute pleasure! We can not say enough great things about him. Extremely personable and helpful! Ronnie made the process simple and enjoyable. We also had my SIL lease a car from him as well because we were so satisfied. We will definitely be back when this lease is over in 3 years to get a new one from Ronnie. Thanks again for all of your help!

This was undoubtedly the best car leasing experience ever and I have been leasing cars for over 30 years. My sales associate, Shawn Murphy met with me and listened to my needs, my concerns and most importantly, where I needed to be with monthly payments. We discussed several options. He was considerate of all these things and we were able to find common ground and he put me in the vehicle of my choice at a price point I was comfortable with. Equally as important was the ease and convenience when I returned to pick up the vehicle was the business office. The entire transaction took less than 20 minutes. No stress. No worries. Just quick and easy. This experience was easy and stress free. Its important to find the right associate at the right dealership to avoid an unpleasant and time consuming experience. I can without reservation recommend North Shore Chevrolet in Smithtown.

My dad and I went into Chevy Friday Night just to figure out what my options were as my lease was ending we were greeted by Nicky and he helped us with throughout. I told Nicky that I was looking for a Colorado so I could go riding and what I could afford. He was so helpful, so accommodating, was super attentive and actually had a ton in common with any dad and I. By the end of the night he was looking for my truck and told me he'd give me a call Monday when they found my truck. Saturday morning Nicky called with good news!! He put me in an upgraded version of what I was looking for and I could go pick it up right then and there!! He was incredibly helpful and very cool. Very lucky he was on the sales floor when I walked in on Friday night. I'm ecstatic !! :D

I was formerly in the car sales business, and know first hand how hectic, neck breaking and tedious of a job it is for what people THINK is great profit margins and commissions. Think again. I’ve always been an ethical dealer and still retain a lot of clientele because of it. I have reviews up for Westbury Jeep, after the GM threw me out for writing a bad review on a manager. Mind you they did 724 cars in August and I was the only person they refused delivery, for reviewing a bad manager who spoke rudely to me. So if I can genuinely find this to be a 5 star experience given the literal headache that was Westbury, give this place a shot and be humble, you’ll get a good deal. On to Smithtown Chevrolet: Ronnie is a solid guy and this is a solid store. If you’re in the car business and need a lease, they may give you a no nonsense breakdown and a really competitive deal. I got a Chevy Silverado for a monthly lease payment that’s too good to be true, with incentives of course , but it’s a better truck and overall deal than any Ram 1500 out there considering you get a better term and more mileage. Chrysler had a tough time applying my own incentives while Smithtown Chevy had no issues. They even offered a bed cover for $300 and to fix a small ding on the front that we barely noticed!! This is industry leading service in my opinion!! I haven’t even found an eBay bed cover for $300! If only I could afford it right now haha 😂 thank you Smithtown!

Visited Smithtown Chevrolet today. Had my next service & inspection done. My service advisor, Mary, was very helpful and pleasant. She took care of setting me up and moving my appointment right along. I stopped up front and spoke to Monica, our salesperson originally & now a manager. She took some time to chat with me and answered some questions for me. Good dealership, my experience with them has been very good.

After having driven Fords for over 20 years, James Lyons had bent over backwards to help us out. Within about an hour of being on the property, James came up with monthly numbers that we would have been foolish to refuse and we were signing paperwork to put us in a brand new Suburban, taking delivery only 2 days later. My only regret was not coming in sooner.

Great experience with the entire staff at Smithtown Chevrolet. Great deal on my new Malibu and the experience was a pleasure from beginning to end. James Lyons really knew the product and services well and the finance department (I think her name was Donna) made the transaction quick and easy. Overall the experience was fun and didn't feel like the typical hard sell you get at other places. Highly recommend.

Horrible.. Do not recommend to anyone. Bought a brand new car only to have problems and have this Chevy not be able to diagnose the problem and would not give me a courtesy car because they say they didn't have any "available". It takes them at least two hours to do an oil change.. What I'm really trying to say is they have extremely poor customer service and their service department needs serious improvement. Save your time and go to a more professional dealership.

The sales side of Smithtown Chevy is a collection of awful people. From the finance rate to what the car is capable of / allowed to do. Brian / Joe assured us the car was qualified for the HOV lane and its not...... We contacted the regional manager, polite but not going to due anything. Most unprofessional company I've ever met and now stuck with a car we dont want.

i went to Chevrolet of smithtown when i arrived 3 employees were playing catch in the parking lot and completely disregarded me as a customer and ignored me. i approached 2 sales men and they still both blew me off and treated with without respect i walked away and the only response i got was from the salesmen asking me to come back after i was in my car driving off the lot. horrible service never going back.

By far the worst experience I've ever had with any service center! My 2012 Malibu had a recall so I had to bring it to the dealer for service. I was told they open at 7:30 and although I booked the first appointment, I should get there at least half an hour to an hour before so I could "get on line", since people come early & line up to get in. When I got there at 6:55 there was already 1 car ahead of me, so when I saw someone walk by I asked him how this all worked, that I had an apt. but now this person was ahead of me. He said I'd be taken care of & not to worry. When they opened the doors at 7:30 there was a woman service manager who checked me in who then told me that the mechanics don't actually start till 8:00! I expressed that I was not happy with the whole operation where I had to get there before 7:00 and wait around for an hour just to get my scheduled appointment. She very rudely told me "well you didn't have to come so early!" Well, I was told by the person on the phone that I did have to since people just show up! I also complained to her that both sets of remote entry keys I had were defective in that the lock button was broken on both sets - you could see where they had collapsed. She acknowledged that they were definitely broken. I told her I had purchased the top of the line bumper to bumper warranty with the car but they said electronic devices were not covered. I feel that isn't fair when I spent so much money on the warranty & within 3 years both devices broke! I really expected more from Chevy & GM. When 8:00 came, the mechanics were all still just standing around, talking & no one was actually working on any cars. Again, I expressed (to another gentleman waiting for his car) that this is why I normally use a private mechanic where I can leave my car when scheduled, he drives me back to work & brings me my car when it's done, it's just so much more convenient for me. They finally began to do the repair on my car when this woman service manager informed me that my inspection had just expired so I said to go ahead & do it. I asked how long it would take since I had already been there for 90 minutes and had to get to work. It was at this point that some other customer began screaming at me, saying I was just complaining since I got there & how much she loves this place! Ok for her, but I still needed to know what they planned on doing with my car and I am entitled to complain about a problem I'm having to the service people... isn't that what they're there for? I am also entitled to express my opinion about their procedures! The (woman) manager came over & started yelling at me in front of all the waiting customers, saying that all I did was complain since I got there and that they didn't want my business, that I could go get my inspection done at my own garage because they refuse to do it! Since when is it not ok to ask about the service or express dissatisfaction with a procedure or service that you get! I'm sorry, but for both of my remote entry keys to break within a 3 year period is upsetting and inconvenient. Not only can I not lock the door remotely but I can no longer use my remote start feature since you have to hit the lock button before you press the remote start button. I don't have the opportunity to take a day off of work to have my car serviced every time it needs an oil change, which is what this other screaming woman was telling me I should do! When I first made that apt they asked why I didn't do all my oil changes & servicing there. This is why! I can't see sitting for 2 hours just to wait to get a simple service done when I can have it done quickly & efficiently at a reputable service center around the corner from my office! They took offense to that and literally threw me out of their garage & told me to never come back, that they didn't want or need my business! I was so appalled at the way I was disrespected I may sell my Malibu just to get away from Chevy altogether!

My salesman Sean Murphy was very informative, pleasant and even though your dealership didn't have what I wanted in stock he found it for me at another dealership. He called me to keep me informed when it would be delivered and he worked around my schedule as to when I was able to pick it up. When I picked the car up he was off that day but had another co-worker show me everything about the car. Sorry I don't remember her name but she was very nice too. And the finance manager was very efficient and fun to talk to, we had some laughs. I was very satisfied and happy about how quickly and smoothly everything went from the time of my first visit to the end of purchasing the car. And I love my Camaro !! I had dropped my vehicle off for service on October 1st. There was an obvious water leak above the fuse box beneath the glove compartment. The car did not start, the rear wiper blade did not work and there were two safety recalls on the vehicle. After 10 days in the service department, only a new battery was installed and I was told by Luann that my bill was over $900 (she stated none of labor for the warranty work was covered). I picked my car up on October 15th; Luann had informed me I would need to return the vehicle for additional service they could not get to in the previous two weeks, but the water leak was fixed. Meanwhile the water leak was clearly not fixed as water was pouring in only a day later, and the wiper still did not work. The warranty company then confirmed that all parts and labor would be covered. My frustration with the lies and deceit from Luann has reached a tipping point. The car has been with a reputable service station for the past 12 days. They have had the windshield replaced and the water leak fixed. The fuse box that was soaked with water has also been replaced (and proven to be the cause of the electrical issues). These issues could have easily been resolved in the two weeks your service department had the vehicle; however Luann seemed more concerned with dishonorable service tactics. Regrettably, the lack of actual service that had been done and the problematic attitude from Luann along with her deceitfulness has led my family & friends to distrust the Smithtown Chevy dealership completely.

Monica Miller and her team were absolutely the nicest and most helpful sales people we dealt with when looking for our lease. Monica was very pleasant and nice to talk to. She was very helpful in describing all the amenities and little buttons in our Equinox lease. I would without a doubt recommend her and am putting up her cards on our billboards here at work. I brought my car in and was told that it would be weeks before it would be repaired. Angela was able to locate me a dealer rental car for me for the duration of my repair so I wouldn't have to worry about getting back and forth to work or how long the repair would take. Everyone at North Shore Chevrolet was extremely helpfuf and professional but the overall star of the day was definitely our sales person, Yvette Lopez. We never felt rush or pressured and her knowledge of the Chevy Camaro and its features rivals that of any motorhead you could meet. She graciously answered all our questions and at the end of the process which only took a few hours, we took possession of our brand new car and she even sync'd our cell phones for us. The facilities are spotless, the people are nice and Yvette is a superstar. What more could you ask for?

The service rep I have had for the past few years knows her job and I'm very pleased in dealing with her. All the work recommended by her has been done with no problem. A recent job of repairing and replacing my outside rearview mirrors was done with very little wait time. The prices may be a little high in some cases but the quality of the work performed is well worth it.

This Silverado is for my wife Janine. She has been driving a 2011 Jeep Liberty since August of 2011, and when I first mentioned the Silverado to her...she said NO!!! I love my Jeep.. Now after driving the Silverado, she ca,n't imagine why she didn't get it sooner. Our Sales rep. Sean Murphy made the whole experience of picking our new Silverado seemless. From the moment Nancy Buckley (our sales consultant) answered the phone, to the time we picked up our new 2014 Traverse, this organization nothing short of perfection. Monica Miller is amazing. Business manager, Theresa was terrific. Previous business manager who sold me 2011 Chevy Traverse extended service plan was a thief. I never knew it was an after market plan. Your service department is not good at all. Frustrated that brake rotors needed resurfacing at 23,000 miles, and that major electric components needed repair/replacement before the car turned 3 years old. I hope that my great experience with Monica Miller and Theresa can rub off on other areas of your dealership.

I recently purchase a used car from them, the internet special price looks very good, and the Sales person, Danny Gomez acts like his is very helpful, sounds like he can offer you the best deal with lowest interest rate. Please dont believe him, he can not make decision as far as price. It is the financing manager who makes the final decision. Be careful with that, the financing manager, Eric, he is a wolf, worse than the ones at Wall street; he will eat you alive with the way he calculate your payment. Once you sign the paper, you will become another victim, no matter if you complain to the sale manager, in this case, Marianne Fasano, she will act like she is on your side to resolve the problem. Look..she is not, she will keep telling you that she is working on it, as days go by, she will ignore your emails or phone calls. Stay away from them, There are other better dealerships at Long Island, go somewhere else for better services, and you will have a better purchase experience.

pleasant experience. i shopped at 112 nessenger first, i walked out of their doors withing 10 minutes. i didn't like their approach. dishonest and arrogant. nicky and damon at smithtown were great. sign and drive process was a little slow, but the blizzard may have played a role in that :)thanks, my wife loves her equinox.

I had my car towed there on a Thursday because it was stuck in a parking lot and wouldn't start. They had my car for 6 days (picked it up the following Tuesday) all to find out it was the starter. I was over charged for the lowest end refurbished charger motor. I was also charged for a new key (didn't need a new key because 2006 cobalt so don't have a chip in them) and key FOB. I was not updated on what was going on with my car in a timely manner. I had to make several phone calls because I wasn't being informed what was going on. I'm very disappointed with the overall service and would never recommend Chevrolet of Smithtown to anyone. I am warning all my Suffolk county friends about them.

I received what I came in for as far as good service. I believe the service advisor Angela Sanacore (Tag 1704) was doing excellent job. I have been driving for over 55 years mostly Chevy, but almost always a GM Product. In all those years have had several Service advisor but she's by far the best

Just bought a used vehicle I found on-line at this dealer. Salesman Danny Gomez did a great job. After an initial test drive, he negotiated fairly and we came to an agreement on a deal that worked for both of us. Went through the paperwork process, including the usual extended warranty pitch without any hard sell nonsense. Picking up my wife's Christmas present next week. Would definitely buy there again. Customer service was rushed and sometimes raw, but in the end the service department was very pleasant and helpful. Communication between technicians needs to be improved as well as with the parts department. I asked for a specific tire and arrived to find another make and model tire installed on my vehicle. Its really not a big deal to me but I thought i was paying for something else. It might have been a communication issue on my part. Overall it was a positive experience even though it was a tad stressful at times.

Luanne was amazing! Since I have a high performance Z06 you have to be worried that service can take advantage of you. That was highly not the case! Was probably the best dealer service I had! I live in Islip Terrace and will bring my Vette to Smithtown Chevy as long as I own it! Truly an awesome experience! Give Luanne a raise..I saw her pushing cars in the garage..a real team player

Luann & Angela are great service reps. I had broken the drivers door handle on the outside of my 2008 Equinox. Knowing that it was not a stock item, I went there a few days before, Luanne ordered my part and made an appointment for me to come in and get it fixed. My window was also sticking . My thought was that this would cost me a fortune for a new window motor, but Luann saw to it that it just needed to be cleaned for it to work properly again. The service reps give dealer service shops a good name. Keep up the good work !!

I brought my new Chevy in for service work that was covered under the powertrain warranty. 9 Days later and still no car and the dealer who has expressed all work was covered under warranty is now NO longer covered under warranty. The dealer wont release my car and wont complete work, currently fighting with GM. Very disappointing service, and how this situation has been handled. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone.

Where do I start...I made an appointment to come see a 2005 Corvette as I was coming from CT to see the car. I get there and the car is dirty and when we go to take it for a test drive, it doesn't start. Not a good first impression. I did however like my salesman and we were able to work out a deal. All was good until we got to the signing of the paperwork process. After being there all day long, I just wanted to get the paperwork done and take the car home. I was asked if I wanted extended warranty. I said no. I was continuously pressured, numbers being thrown at me which were more than I wanted my monthly payment to be. I refused again. I was then told that I shouldn't take that car without a warranty - I asked why, am I getting junk? No, they really want their customers to be covered and I was asked to wait while another option was checked. I was told that GMPP was available and it was even cheaper than the first option offered. Donna said that she was surprised, she didn't think they would offer coverage for my car but it went through. In order to stop the pressure and make the next ferry back, I reluctantly agreed. All was good until I got a letter from GMPP saying they were missing info from the dealership and needed them to contact for resolution. I forwarded the letter to the salesman who told me Donna would call me back. NO call. Three emails to the salesman asking for help with the issue...no response. Multiple phone calls, no response. Long story short, after a call to GMPP directly I found out that a 2005 would never be eligible for coverage through their plan. Donna finally informs me that my only option is the other higher cost plan or a refund. Return calls to Donna always went to voicemail. It was frustrating beyond belief. I requested that my loan be redrawn and was told that could not be done. I ask that they refund me instead of paying my loan holder...no, can't do that either. So now I'm paying a higher monthly payment and paying interest on something I don't even get the benefit of using. The kicker is I didn't even want the plan to being with!! As a new member of the corvette community I will not be recommending friends to buy at this dealership.

One of the best buying experiences I have ever had. They worked with me on the price of the car as well as a very fair price on my 2007 Acura TL for a trade. Everyone I spoke with was honest and upfront about everything that was happening and delivered my car to me the following day.
