My husband and I were shopping for a pre-owned vehicle. I contacted our salesman and told him what we were looking for. He mentioned a couple that he had in mind. We talked over the details of the car. We set up a time to test drive it. The financing was taken care of in-house at the dealership, so I didn't have to take time working with the banks. The whole process was very simple and quick. Our salesman answered all of my questions and gave me honest feedback and recommendations. It was a very easy and pressure-free process.

Have always thought Clift Buick tries hard to give good service to their customers both selling and repairs. Polite efficient service, coffee, cold drinks, magazines and TV available in waiting room. I always appreciate the fact that they keep records and when I bring the car in, they know exactly what services are due and give me the cost before the repair or service is done. Another courtesy is having the car vacuumed out and basic exterior wash for free.

The service team was able to get my car in for service on the same day. While replacing the battery and giving the car a "once over" they noticed I had a tie rod about to snap. It was fixed the same day as well. I drive 1 hour each way to work in Toledo so it's important I have reliable transportation. That tie rod could have caused a very serious accident for me of someone else. I was grateful they looked beyond the initial reason for my visit.

The service Rep was very nice and accommodating. He was able to secure a brand new GMC Terrain for me to use as a loner car for over a week while they did major repairs for me. I drove over 250 miles to look at a vehicle after emailing and calling to confirm appointments with people that I never got to meet. When I arrived at the dealership, the last thing the salesperson wanted to do was show me the vehicle. He wanted to discuss my trade (an early lease termination from a non-GM company) and finally concluded that they did not want to sell me this vehicle since they didn't want to deal with my lease termination. Also, they weren't willing to reduce the price on their vehicle, yet checking today, I see that the price has been reduced. By the way, the vehicle advertised looked super clean in their online ads, but on arrival had been sitting out on the back lot collecting dust, pollen and all kinds of filth. Having been in sales myself, I believe I would have been excited about a potential buyer that drove over 250 miles to see me; not Clift ! The clincher was the sales person whispering that there was a F__D dealer down the street that I should visit...

I was able to complete the entire deal from an hour and a half away! Working with my sales rep, we were able to work out pricing and a trade-in that would work for my budget. When I finally made it to the dealership, I verified that this was the truck I wanted, which I already knew it was, we verified my trade-in, then went inside to close the deal. With the convenience of modern technology, I was able to complete my financing with my credit union via smart phone. I was there less than 2 hours and most of that was a tutorial on how everything works on my new truck.I only gave it 4 stars only because I wasn't a fan of how many people I had to deal with (5 in all) and I kind of felt like I should've been a little more catered to, considering I was buying the second most expensive vehicle on their lot, according to the sales rep!

This was a routine oil change. I was greeted right away and my work order was ready at Jordan's station. Jordan recommended and explained the 15,000 mile service which I accepted. The loaner vehicle was clean and acceptable. When I returned, I was greeted again right away and my bill was ready. The paperwork and return of my keys was seamless.When I got to my car, I could tell it has been washed because there were beads of water and streams of soap down from each door handle. I realize it is a free and complimentary service, but it should not make my car look worse than when I came in. A simple drying or wipe down would have sufficed and saved what was otherwise a great visit. I am tempted to not bother with the complimentary service and wonder what I would get with a paid service. My thought and recommendation would be to the customer a feeling of "Wow, if this is how good the free service is, then I can only imagine how great the paid service would be!" Then I would be more apt to consider a full detail. This is my customer perspective. It's the small things that really matter.

I initially started going to Clift after the way I was treated at another dealership in Clinton. I felt like I was treated like a 'stupid female' at the other location. I have never felt that way at Clift. I've always been treated with respect and have never felt 'taken advantage of'. The Service Dept is one of the primary reasons I decided to get a new vehicle through Clift. Although I had to make a quick decision due to incentives about to expire, I feel like I had accurate information to make an informed decision. I feel confident going forward that the Service Dept will continue to deal with me as they have, and have no doubts that should any questions or concerns about my vehicle arise, I can contact Carl - or any other salesperson at the dealership for answers. There was a lag time in getting my registration transferred over but just a matter of a few days. And I am still waiting to hear from the Service Mgr regarding some pedal extensions that I need to have installed (why extended pedals are no longer an option on most vehicles I don't understand. There are a lot of us short people that don't want to sit close to the steering wheel! haha). But I am confident that will be taken care of soon. I do think my trade-in amount was a bit lower than it could have been - I checked the lot price over the weekend.

2010 Equinox with 484XX miles experienced SES light and did not perform to expectation. Cam exhaust solenoid was problem and was corrected and engine update performed. 50K service was also perform as car was in shop and near the 50K mark. All service explained to customer satisfaction and car was returned to expected performance level. Service was first rate as always. Have purchased from this dealership as well as others and had all GM cars serviced by them to satisfaction.

My experience in dealing with all of the professionals at Clift has been very positive, including my most recent experience with the auto detailing of our 2005 Pontiac Bonneville GXP. Mr. Morgan was very understanding and responsive to the fact that this likely was the first real 'detail' work performed on this vehicle, that we recently purchased from my wife's parents. I took the car in for an oil change and to get a problem with the wipers fixed. They had no trouble getting my car in for the service. Plus, when performing a vehicle check they found some problems with the cars alignment and steering. They were able to get my car right in and fixed that very same day. I feel safe with the service department at Clift and will continue to take my car there for service.

I have been a loyal Clift customer since I began driving. Everyone is super friendly and they've helped me find the right vehicle for me 3 times now! I get maintenance reminders for my car and never feel like I'm being 'taken' with unnecessary repairs when I take my vehicle in to get fixed. For example, last week I had noticed a weird sound under the hood the day before I was about to take a long vacation road trip. Sarah Perry got me in immediately that morning, got me a rental car and had everything fixed and my oil changed in time for me to pick up the car after work! I wish I could say I was satisfied. The salesman and front receptionist were great, the finance guy? Not so much. It would have been nice if he really even tried, but he didn't. He seemed disinterested from the word go. And when we couldn't make a deal for what I was originally looking for, he cut ties really quickly. I drove a long way to see this dealer and left less than thrilled with the effort put in to try to make a sale. I have since been to another dealership and closed on the same type of truck for the same price as the one I was trying to get at Clift.

I found a Buick enclave I wanted at clift Buick and started a credit app. I received emails and text messages saying I was approved and ready to go. I received a pho e call from Mike F telling me that I needed 2500 down, which was not what I had understood. All in all, we got down to 750 and I drove up to start the deal. I signed a contract and they agreed to deliver it to me a week and a half later (Dec 11th). The next Monday, I get a phone call from Mike F stating the finance company was going to cancel my contract, which I was never told about. Two days later, he calls me and states that gm financial has cancelled the loan. I have no contract or paper work with contingencies and everything was final. He started to actually yell at me. I told him I was going to have my lawyer give him a call and work this out. I later called gm financial themselves and they told me a different story. The were having trouble verifying employment, but never stated they were cancelling the contract. Also, when I left work, there was a tow truck waiting in the parking lot. Not saying it was there for me, but it was sketchy due to what had previously happened. Mike F is a horrible man and clift Buick is apparently in the bait and switch game. Trying to get you to do one thing when the bank is ok with what is already in place. I highly recommend you go somewhere else and leave this company in the rearview mirror. Mike himself is the downfall of that company. If they take my vehicle, I'll update this with the court proceedings.

We came to Clift's to check out a car we found on the internet. My father-in-law and grandfather-in-law were both loyal Clift's customers who have purchased several vehicles from them over the years - and I can see why. When we arrived, we were introduced to our salesman, Josh Feltman, who took excellent care of us. He was very personable and friendly. Despite the fact that we could see how busy he was, we felt like we always had his attention. I appreciated that when he found out we were looking for a car for my wife, he started asking her all the questions and finding out what she wanted in a car, and was genuinely interested in her responses. He wasn't condescending or patronizing to her at all, and that meant a lot to me. Most importantly, he was HONEST. He was very up front about how realistic some of our expectations were (or were not, in some cases), and he never led us to believe something that wasn't true, nor did we feel nickel-and-dimed at the end. With him, there were no surprises from beginning to end. Mike Fisher was also very helpful and easy-going about the paperwork. Car buying can be very stressful, and the entire staff at Clift's did a lot to help ease the apprehension. Their service garage was spotless and high-tech, so we definitely plan to bring our new car back to Clift's if/when it needs service. We will definitely be returning. I saved Josh's business card so the next time we're in the market to buy a car, I'm calling him first.

Think again before buying a used car here. They told us that the car was in great shape and that it had been through their shop and passed with flying colors. They also told us that the brakes were new and also in great shape. Um, no. Now we have a $900 bill for new front pads, rotors, calipers, and hoses because Clift's "shop" can't look with their eyes and make sure everything really is in good shape. I'm just glad the brakes didn't go out and cause an accident or catch on fire. Go somewhere else. Save yourself the money and hassle. Don't put your life at risk for this dealership.

I purchased a used GMC Acadia (NOT from Clift) and immediately took it to Clift for a full inspection on the morning of 3/6/14. When making the appointment with Chuck Willis whom I've had the pleasure of working with at another dealership, I stated that being new to used car ownership I needed confidence in the vehicle and would appreciate a full inspection. If there is a fuse getting ready to blow I want to know about it were my exact words. Admittedly I am aware that you can't predict when exactly a "wearable" item is going to fail. I described "known" issues, error messages displayed on the dash and also passenger side day light needed to be replaced.Making a long story a little shorter, I have taken this truck to Clift three times for the day light with no resolution, but I seem to come away with another issue every time. First time, I was told all lights were on, then the driver side blinker stopped flashing, so I came back and had that replaced and pointed again to the day light. I was brought back to the "bay" and shown that the bulb had shattered. I was shocked, this is new, bulb was visible and intact, just not illuminating before. But I didn't argue or point fingers, other than asking what would cause that? I was told that someone put the wrong bulb in. This was not noted during the inspection appointment and I've not changed the bulb nor has anyone else worked on the vehicle since Clift did the inspection. Until provided with a $1,000 part only estimate, I planned to have it replaced that day. I was told that the person who orders the parts couldn't find an aftermarket unit but I could search also. Given it was just the day light and I still had headlights and fog lights there was no real sense of urgency, allowing me the time to search for aftermarket product myself.I found several online websites that had assemblies in stock ready to ship. Unfortunately, the one I ordered for $131.00 was not the correct model. Again, I was taken back to the service bay and showed that it had the wrong connector. I requested three times that the old one be put back in until I could get the correct model. Finally the technician (no paperwork so no name) asked Chuck if that is what they would do? I guess the direction can't come from the customer?? Chuck responded yes and I returned to the waiting room. Upon leaving the lot I was immediately aware of the fact that the right blinker now was not working by hearing the fast blink sound inside the truck. Exiting the truck I realized that I now have NO LIGHTS on the passenger side I assume because while the technician put the assembly back in the truck, he did NOT connect it. So again, I return to the service area. Chuck was with another customer and I was greeted by someone else. I simply said that I don't think the passenger headlight assembly had been reconnected when installed. "Oh, the one that's not working?" Right, I said but now NONE of it is working, we walked out to the lot, he popped the hood but before opening it he said "Oh, he just didn't plug it in." Perhaps someone else would have laughed or ignored this comment without taking it as a personal affront. Remember: I stated this when I brought it back now the fourth time. My question to the Clift team: Why would a certified technician drop the assembly back in place without connecting it? Why would the customer not be listened to? After all I was not telling him what type of tool to use or how to read the error message. Why would a sarcastic remark be uttered to a customer with not only a non-resolved issue but now a NEW one?Quality customer service is more than providing a clean waiting room with complimentary beverages. To provide customer service you must first LISTEN, then troubleshoot/diagnose as the "SME" subject matter expert, pulling from technology, lessons learned, etc. all of the tools that a trained and skill certified technician has at their disposal. Finally, they should RESOLVE the issue. Frustration does not give enough weight to how I'm feeling even hours after this mistreatment. To add further insult to injury, I now can NOT drive my vehicle at night because I have NO lights on the passenger side. To be clear, while very frustrated with the type of service I've been provided by Clift, I do not hold Chuck responsible, as I stated earlier, I've worked with him before and was looking forward to my experience in his new position.

I appreciate how well Clift Staff do in keeping me informed about my vehicle and getting my service work done in a timely manner. I especially like their rewards program which saves me money on service work. When I have a road emergency and need my car done in a timely manner they really can be counted on to deliver good, fast service.

Ask to deal with Rachel Deo. Shes not the ordinary annoying car salesman. She basically just listened to what we needed and made sure we were happy. After taking the car home we noticed there was no owner's manual she mailed one to us right away. Overall I was very happy with the service. We even got a 20 dollar gas card just for going there. This was before we bought the car. Like I said overall I was very happy with clift and I will be coming back in the future. Thanks

First of all let me say that the internet sales coordinator was pleasant and nice to talk too. After driving out of my way 50 miles to Clift I was greeted at door. Since the ISC wasn't available I was greeted by the sales mgr. who introduced herself and had another salesperson work with me. I told the salesperson and the sales mgr. what vehicle I was interested in. Salesperson sat me down at a desk asking me questions like name, address, phone, email, where I work, income, what's my credit rating. Really? "Can I see the car" I asked. Salesperson fumbles around then pulls out a credit app. Checks with someone else, then comes back to desk and wants me to fill it out before going any further. That was it. Walked out. I went out of my way to go to Clift and that's how they do things? I worked sales for years and understand the process. But never have I asked a customer to fill out a credit app. before working with them. I'd like to say other things but, sure I have to keep my words clean. Go kick rocks comes to mind. After leaving, called another back to a salesperson at another dealership and put deposit down on another car.

We purchased a GM certified vehicle from Clift, but come to find out there were several issues that would not have passed the certification standards, but the dealer fudged the certification anyways. Very shadey practices at play here.

Today I took our Chevy Impala back to where I purchased it for service. They changed the oil and oil filter for me and checked over the car. The service was very good. The part that they had in stock was not the right one and they had to keep my car over night. This being the case they had a loaner car for me to use. The repair was done the next day. I'm happy with the service and would go back again.
