Disappointed with both the sales and the service department. Upon purchasing my vehicle, I didn't know until the next day when I went to use my Navigation that it did not work from the factory. Also I thought it was odd but my steering wheel was not straight when driving straight. Coastal Nissan is out of my way but I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt and have them fix it a 2 weeks later when I had a chance on a Saturday to repair the Nav. I made an appointment and was there for 3 hours for them to tell me it needed a new Radio. They had to order they told me and they would call when it came in. They said it usually takes a week to come in. Well I am busy as heck and five weeks later I call and they said let me check. I was put on hold, and they said oh that just came in last night. Bring it in and they will swap it out. I said can you squeeze me in today. I said I have an appointment in an hour. They said you should really leave it with us for a half of day or full day. I said I cannot give up the work truck for a day plus they were over an hour from my home. I asked because of the situation that it was broken from day one and this was not checked for the vechicle prep , can they try to help me out and get it done within an hour. He said they couldn't. I emailed my sales rep (Commercial sales manager) the following, and never heard back. "Sent 9/19/16 - 12:28pm - Hi Bill. I have had nothing but bad luck with your service department. The navigation has not worked since day one. It does not show your correct location. I made an appointment over a month ago and sat there for 3 hours on a Saturday. It has been 5 weeks. No one called me to say the part was in. I had to call. I asked how long it would take and they are telling me two hours. It is tough for me to give up the van for 2 hours during normal hours. I do not see why it would take 2 hours to swap the radio out. The problem has been already diagnosed. I do like the Nissan vans and plan on buying them for future fleet trucks but not sure if I like the way Coastal has treated me. I just wanted to pass this feedback on to you since you were my point of contact. " Well a couple weeks went by and we were swamped so I could not bring the vehicle in because we were working 70 hour weeks. I schedule an appointment for this Saturday. I called to confirm they could get the radio done along with the vehicles first 5000 mile warranty. Yes, I went 5000 miles with a brand new vehicle that had Nav that was useless. They said oh we returned that part because it had to be done within 30 days. I was very upset. Still have not heard back from any manager or sales rep. I ended up going to Nissan Villiage this weekend for the oil change. The service rep Kevin was extremely helpful. They took care of the oil change and rotated the tires. He said to me, when rotating your tires we noticed your alignment was way off. I said I thought it was off, and odd the wheel would be turned way to the right when driving straight. He said it was off about 20% on both sides. They fixed it under warranty and diagnosed on their own. Why is it Coastal had the van for 3 hours and didn't notice it? And Nissan Villiage fixed the Nav with an update without ordering and changing the radio out. I was very impressed with Nissan Village and will no longer take my fleet vehicles or new vehicle purchases to Coastal Nissan. We own 6 vehicles and purchase vehicles every year.

I drove down to this dealership and yes, I did end up purchasing a car, but once I've decided to purchase the car, the aftercare was terrible.Yes, until I had a car in my hand, they were helpful. But when the car was ready, first of all, the gas tank was half full. Half full?!?! I went back inside and complained and they took it back and filled it up. After I got home, I realized the 2nd key that they gave me didn't work. I called the dealer and spoke to a business manager, who told me to come back to take a look at the key. I discussed with him how time consuming it is for me to drive there, which would take me 1 1/2 hours round trip just to get the key fixed. He did not back down and I didn't either. So I had to go to the closer dealership the next day to ask them what was wrong. It was only a battery problem. That is such a rookie mistake, again! After all this, the direct person that I was in touch with did not bother to call me even though it was his day off when I picked the car up. Even after talking to the business manager, he didn't call. Then, finally, 5 days later, he called me on Sunday afternoon and I was quite busy and told him I'll call him back and I never did. Did he call me back? No. Did the business manager give him the message about the 2nd key? No. Did they offer to pay me back with fixing the key? No. I did not expect this kind of service from this dealership as it had a high rating on it, but I am very disappointed that this had happened to me. I do not recommend this dealership to my families or friends.

I had decided to go to Coastal for my first official car purchase because of the great things I had heard about the staff and the dealership as a whole. While the process of buying a car can be very stressful, working with Lance made it as stress free as possible. He was up front about what we could do with the prices and financing the car. As well as helping me through the process and making sure I understood every step that we were taking. At the end of my visit, I walked away having purchased a car that I loved, could afford, and felt comfortable with. Not a single bit of buyers remorse. The car runs well, feels great, and looks phenomenal. I cannot recommend this dealership enough. I will absolutely come back for my next car purchase.

We couldn't be happier with our 2010 Nissan Rogue from Coastal Nissan! We worked with Lance at the Cohasset location in June 2016 after seeing the listing on Cars.com, and he helped us purchase the car we wanted quickly and easily. The car was in great condition and the price was fair. Coastal Nissan also inspected the car and got us our plates, so we could drive off the lot in just a few days. Overall it was a great car-buying experience! We highly recommend Coastal Nissan!

I recently moved and didn't want to make the long drive to my dealership(Balise Nissan cape cod). I decided I'd give coastal a try. Was in 4/22 with 11am appointment. I was having an oil change, and my drivers heat/cool seat wasn't working. I'm brand new too this dealership I had few questions. Those questions were answered with ah jeez I don't know and im not sure. Questions were about the one one rewards program. I was told he would inquire and come find me. Ok great thanks, never came to find me with answers, nor to update me. I was here for 2hrs! After the first hour I got up and looked out the window that views service area saw my car made note of time. I noticed the guys near my lift moving my car, I waited 20 mins. Then I sought out service department, response was oh I was just coming to get you. I know things take awhile but was it too much to update me in the 2 hrs, plus extra 20mins my car sat done! I really appreciated sitting here! Now it's 4/28 I'm back for the part to fix the seats. I asked when making appointment how long a job. Oh it's easy about hour. Ok great, I got here 1145 I'm currently still sitting here as I write this review 210p Again no ones come to update me, I go in search of service department. They inform me it wasn't what they thought at first. I needed another part, that's great you found the cause, but again some communication would have been nice. Especially when I entered into almost 2 hrs of being here. I'm sorry I guess I'm spoiled by my dealership(Balise Nissan) I won't be coming back here again. The service people were pleasant, but I feel communication could be worked on.

I bought my Nissan Rogue a 14 months ago from Coastal Nissan. I recently got a car starter and went to my salesperson Tom DiPesa for help. He picked up my car, exchanged it for his own, and delivered it back to me the next morning all done. Tom is easy and delightful to deal with and provided exemplary customer service. I was looking for a car for my teenage daughter. I saw two on Coastal's website which I thought may fit my needs. The cars were both out of town but Nate had them brought them to the Rockland store in an hour of our phone call so, I could see and test drive them. On the web site, the car we wanted to look at was listed in Hanover at Coastal VW. I clicked for directions under the car and arranged to meet my wife there on her way home from work. We got there and the VW salesman thirty feet away did not get up to greet us but yelled across the room asking what we were looking for. We told him as we walked to his desk. He still did not get out of his seat but told us that the car was actually at another branch 20 miles away. He was able to look up from his I phone once while we were with him!!!We decided to wait till the weekend and go to see the car. We went to Coastal Automotive in Cohassett and saw Lance and Mike. The car we wanted had been sold a few hours earlier. The two gentlemen suggested a Nissan Rogue based on our conversation and it turned out to be perfect. We made arrangements to purchase the Rogue and trade in our vehicle. Very pleasant buying experience, no canned sales pitches.This is where things get bizarre. Apparently because of Franchise rules, we had to complete the sale at Coastal Nissan 20 miles back, just north of Coastal VW.We met with Nick at Coastal Nissan the next morning after waiting 45 minutes to see him, because "We sold so many cars, sorry for the delay" Signed all the papers and arranged financing. Coastal charged $385 for document preparation which seems to be in the area that other dealers are at.OK now we completed the paperwork and we were told to drive our tradin back to Cohasset so they can switch the plates and we could take delivery. So back to see Lance and Mike again.Lance told us that because they sold so many cars, the registration would take a couple of days. Annoying after paying $385 for doc fee, but oh well. 3 business days later no word from Coastal so I called Lance for an update ,"We are at the mercy of Norwell." . I called Nick and never got a call back untill I spoke with the sales manager 2 days later. I am not even to go into the total lack of communication regarding the installation of a remote starter and a vehicle recovery system...

From the get go this was a terrible car buying experience. After triple-checking to make sure the car I wanted to look at was at this dealership, upon arrival I was told that the car was elsewhere. At the time I had a very busy and specific work schedule, and I asked Tom DiPesa, the salesman, to call me between 4 and 6 pm to discuss financing. At 6:20 he gave me a call, but I couldn't take it, as I was working. I was scheduled to meet with a financial advisor between 6:30 and 7, but when I got there he spent all of 5 minutes with me and he told me he had to leave, even though I had to drive an hour to see him. Attempting to get the car registered was a nightmare, and they took an extremely long time sending paperwork to my local DMV. They would tell me that they would have the paperwork finished by Monday, and on the following Thursday they would tell me that they haven't even started it. It took almost a month to buy the car from start to finish. At signing I wasn't given any paperwork. Their email response time is terrible, and the emails are formatting incredibly unprofessionally. I asked Nick Spolsino, the Finance Director, if I could cancel my warranties about 20 days after I signed for the car, and he straight up lied to me, saying the charges could not be revoked from my bill. I did my research and called multiple people at Nissan Headquarters, each saying I was able to cancel my warranties. I requested the cancellation paperwork, and a week later they sent it to the wrong address after I specifically told them which address to send the paperwork to. I sent in the paperwork, requesting an email once it had been received and I was given no such email or any correspondence as to whether the paperwork was received or not. It wasn't until I emailed them just under 2 months later that I got a response. I asked what the status was, and Nick responded, "The cancellation is in process. It takes 8 weeks to be completed." A few days after that, funds were applied to my loans out of the blue without an explanation as to where they came from. I didn't know if I was charged or if the money came from Coastal Nissan. Overall, their communication is terrible and they have no grasp of customer service. Nick Spolsino and Tommy DiPesa have little respect for the customer and have no customer service skills. Will never be returning and would not recommend anyone gets a car through them.

My recent purchase of a Nissan Rogue 2015 was exceptional in every way due to the way Lance Ward assisted me. There was no pressure applied and I felt comfortable during all stages of the purchase. Even when I chose the car I wanted he made sure that this was exactly what I did want. He also went over how the car worked, including adding my phone to the car, air conditioning, radio, back up vision etc. During the test drive, I knew that this was the car that I wanted. Another friend of mine went somewhere else to buy a Nissan Rogue and got none of the personal attention that I got from Lance. He is a wonderful salesman and I would recommend him to anyone!

I have bought/leased 3 cars from Coastal Nissan, every time it was a great experience. I have used them for service on all the vehicles and again excellent service. George and Matt in the service department are professionals, friendly, communicative and easy to deal with. Recently our Pathfinder had a problem with the roof liner on the sunroof. Because the part had to be ordered from Nissan and was not delivered in time for them to complete the service that day, they provided us with alternate transportation at no cost. Always a breeze to deal with, quite a departure from the stereotypical car dealers!

I called the dealer and spoke to Tom Dipesa regarding purchasing a used car for my daughter. Tom did all the work for me and found her a used car that she is exceptionally happy with at the price we had set. Tom also arranged all paperwork and dropped car off at our house. A great experience and I would used Tom and Coastal Nissan without hesitation.A very happy experience.

I went to Coastal Nissan to purchase a new car and had a great experience. I was unsure of exactly what I wanted but was relieved to find that the sales guy was very patient and explained all my options for various different models. I had a lot of questions and he took the time to answer everything and make sure I was comfortable before signing anything. When it came to the financial aspect, I feel I got a really good deal from Coastal. They didn't try to haggle me or sell me on additional products I didn't need. The sales guy really listened to what I was looking for and suggested the best options. This was not the first dealership I looked at but it was clearly the best. They were patient and didn't give me a hard time for looking one day and wanting to come back on a later date to possibly purchase. The sales guy didn't make me feel rushed or pressured to buy.I sat down with the finance guy and he explained other options for purchase. He wasn't pushy and didn't make me feel forced into additional features. He also took the time to explain all the financing and payment information so there were no gray areas or surprises on my first bill. Overall, I feel that the team at Coastal is great to work with and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new (or used) car. We will definitely go back to them in the future.

I had found a 2012 Honda Civic on the Coastal Nissan website that seemed to have most of what I was looking for and decided to make the drive down from the Worcester county area which was well worth it! When I got there Lance was great, he showed me the car, made sure it was what I was looking for, and sent me off on a test drive at which point I quickly decided that I wanted this to be my next car. It was in great shape, had low mileage, and had a few extras (leather seats, sunroof, Bluetooth) that won me over. I worked with Lance and Mike to get the price to a place that I could manage and was reasonable for them as well. I was even able to walk away with the car that day which was very unexpected and exciting! I had a great experience and would recommend Coastal Nissan to anyone looking for their next new or used car!

Leased a Murano, put down almost 6k, three months later I was hit and the car was totaled. I paid almost 8K with payments and was told I get nothing back. Sales guy put together a lame deal, sales manager stated that if I take my complaint of Yelp they will try to put together another deal! They were also going to keep the "service plan" they encouraged me to buy for $1200Scam and the epitome of car dealers. They should be ashamed of themselfes. Car Mangager said I can see that you should be angry but not at us!!!!!

I purchased a car from Coastal Nissan recently. Be aware of the finance manager, I was told by the salesperson, the car would be cleaned and a protective coating applied to the exterior. Nothing mentioned about a price, so I ASSUMED it was part of their cleaning process. When I sat down with Nick Spolsino,the finance manager, I was given a price to purchase an extended warrenty for 936.00, when I looked at the purchase agreement the price was 1895.00 for the extended warrenty and 795.00 for the protective coating.. Do yourself a big favor and read the purchase agreement prior to signing.. I compained to the general manager which went on deaf ears..

the short version.I called on a car that I saw on line and spoke with Katie who offered me 150.00 off the price and 100.00 in Coastal cash.I asked if that was the best she could do,and she said no.I then asked what the doc fees were and she told me 369.00.Isaid would they take that amount off as well and then show they were paid (doc fees are never waived).Bear in mind this is end of month and dealers will promise anything to get you to buy so they can show numbers at least on paper.I was told to go to the Cohasset location to test drive.I went,loved the car,and decided to buy it,with the terms I discussed with Katie who was in the business development center.I spoke with my sales person who told me that he was amazed they offered me the doc fees off and did they want to lose money on the deal?I don't know what they paid for the car,not my business,but Katie told me she could authorize the deal over the phone,so I believed her.My sall cash but they would not deduct the 369 for doc fees...I loved the car so much I didn't want to argue at this point.My father who was helping me buy the car said he didn't trust them now and was not happy with what they had just done and had thought that we should not trust them.Well,FATHER DOES KNOW BEST!When test drove the car,it had mats in it.They were factory mats.I was told that the car would be available to see when we signed the papers as it is not just my car.I was bringing the other person with me as it is in their name.Well,we went to sign and brought the money(cash deal) and the car was not there.We were told that it would be I delivery day.So my mom would not be able to see her car before she signed paper work.Then when we picked the car up,the mats were gone.I was told to go buy them at an auto shop for 20 as the car is used and they come as is or I could buy some from them with my Coastal cash...I called to speak wth manager Mike Delaney after I was told by the auto manager Paul that h would not b paying for my mats (ugh,didn't asked him to)Then I explained my situation with Mike Delaney who seemed ok,and then said he would order them.I THOUGHT they would send them to me...Nope.The manager also told me that Iwas lucky to get the mats since they don't come with a USED car.Hmmmmm....They called it a PRE OWNED car when I was buying it.STAY AWAY!!!!!COASTAL GOES POSTAL ON THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!

When I first visited Coastal Nissan I was just exploring my options for when my current lease ended on my Hyundai. I was lucky enough to meet with Dan Doherty who went over my options with me and even called Hyundai to see if I could pay off my lease early. As it turned out Hyundai has a very strict policy about early termination on their leases making it impossible for me to lease a new car at that time. Because he was so helpful the first time we met, when my lease was almost up, I returned to Coastal to talk to Dan again and he made it possible with a lot of work from him and other members of the staff for me to leave that day with a new lease on a 2015 Rogue, which I love. Every one I worked with was great but Dan went the extra mile for me so I was able to lease the car I wanted. Thank you, Dan!!

If I could give zero stars I would.They are scam artists, liars, and cheats.I am still waiting for a $50 visa gift card that was part of my deal. It's been over three months - what's their excuse for that? Nothing more than they are going to tell you what they need to to make the sale and then they don't stand by and honor the deal. They also sold me a car with a tire that had been plugged in the sidewall... and the plug was mounted inside so it couldn't be seen. Plugging a sidewall is extremely unsafe and against industry practice. When the plug blew, only weeks after purchasing the car, I contacted them to replace the tire and they refused. A good, honorable, honest company would have replaced the tire with an apology. But then again, a good, honest, honorable company wouldn't try to screw me out of the $50 gift card.It is indicative of how they do business. Shysters!

Was in the market for a SUV with a 3rd row, and wasn't in a hurry since we didn't need to buy right away. Came across a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder listed at Coastal Nissan with very low mileage, on Cars.com. First corresponded with Matt the internet manager via email. Told him what vehicle we were looking at and what our budget was. Took him a day or so to get back to me, and was very responsive. Matt was able to meet our budget, got the car for $3000 under book value. When we made the trip from Maine, the vehicle was exactly as described. Billy our sales man was very easy to deal with, good sense of humor. The cherry on top was since we are from out of state and didn't have plates to drive it home. Next day Coastal delivered the Pathfinder to our house free of charge. Two hundred mile round trip, great buying experience.

My wife and i bought a used car at Coastal's used car lot. I had an issue with the car that i noticed after driving the car the first week that I had it. I contacted Lance my sales man and he recommended that i bring it down. They looked at the car and determined that it did need some attention. They put me in a loaner on the spot and did what they had to do to make the repair right. There was no out of pocket expense for me even though technically they didn't have to. I was impressed with Linda in the service department who made sure i was happy with the way things were going. They were prepared for me to be in the loaner as long as was necessary. It was only a couple of days. I would highly recommend Coastal's used car center for sales and service especially after the sale. They did whatever they needed to do to make sure it was fixed right and that I was satisfied.

Our daughter had her eyes set on a used Nissan Altima Coupe listed on the website. After traveling to Norwell from Cape Cod on a Sat. only to find out the sought after car was not there, but in Cohasset. They offered to bring it over but we opted to go to Cohasset.In Cohasset we were met by Lance Ward. We test drove the Coupe, and were disappointed with it. My daughter saw another used Altima, so we test drove it. Lance showed us the CarFax report and we went home to sleep on it.On Mon. we met with Matt Orchard in Norwell and closed the deal.Two weeks later it developed a noise in the front end - brakes - replaced in a very professional manner.Anyone looking for a new or used Nissan should seek out Lance Ward or Matt Orchard you will not be disappointed.

The sales person was very helpful and answered all of my questions regarding the vehicle I had made my inquiry on. He was very helpful and when he realized that the vehicle would not meet my needs he suggested alternative options. When I am working with a salesperson, I want two things: for the person to have integrity and for them not to be pushy. Louis fit both of those. He was direct and honest and helped us find a car that was perfect for us. When he realized that there was a promotion on the car he was selling us, HE volunteered the information before we could ask and brought the price of the car down significantly. He also presented us with the carfax without us asking. He didn't push us into something we couldn't afford and he wasn't demanding. After several months of looking for a car, I was glad we finally found the right salesperson and the right car for us.

My wife purchased a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder recently and while happy with the vehicle, there were a few issues that needed to be corrected. Lance Ward and all the personnel at Coastal Nissan have gone out of their way to correct issues with quick follow through and timely service.What she and I like most about Coastal and Mr. Ward is that he explains everything and there is no pressure. We found that in pricing several competing vehicles - same make. model and year, Coastal was consistently anywhere from $1,000 to $1,750 below other dealers prices. Also it warrants acknowledging that the facilities, both in Cohasset and Norwell are a pleasure to visit being clean and neat, with Norwell being a newer building with state of the art service areas. Why Coastal Nissan? Lance Ward sold our daughter a 2006 Pathfinder 3-years ago and neither he or Coastal have stopped providing the highest level of service to accommodate her needs. Two weeks ago my daughter's radiator went while leaving an appointment. She called Coastal at 5:45 p.m. on a Friday afternoon and the service staff waited until she arrived at 6:00 to assure her that the car would be serviced as quickly as possible.She picked the car up at 4:00 the next day - Saturday. Needless to say this was an expensive repair and her warrantee had recently run out.Not only did Coastal accommodate a very fast turnaround, but recognizing the recent expiration of the warrantee gave her a 10% discount. Both the owner, Richard Walker and Lance Ward followed up on the repair and my daughter's satisfaction. I call that excellent service and a business looking to gain new customers, but more importantly satisfy and keep existing customers.Being able to rely on a dealer that you know is honest, reputable and truly interested in keeping you as a customer takes the aggravation and anxiety out of having to worry about servicing and purchasing vehicles. I most whole heartedly recommend Lance Ward and Coastal Nissan to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. After an hour of attempts to reach him- all attempts were received by me being dumped into voicemail- I left a message on the machine. Following leaving the message, I again called back and was told by the front desk that they were "too busy" to get him on the phone but they assured me he checks voicemail frequently. Almost two hours later, I arrived to the dealership to find the technician and another employee standing in the service bay laughing and talking. I should note, the service bay was completely empty. When I approached him about my car and about the message I left him, he advised me he had not "had time" to check his messages. When I voiced my frustration with him and my impression of him standing around laughing with co-workers while I had been waiting for a response, he quickly snapped at me and told me he had been "too busy" all day and I needed to "calm down". When I told him to "drop his attitude" he smart mouthed me and walked out of the shop. I would never treat a customer like the service technician treated me. Not only did he not respond in a timely manner to my attempts to reach him, in fact he didn't respond at all, but he also was rude and belligerent rather than apologizing and attempting to fix the situation. I will not be bringing my car back to there; it will be worth the extra drive for me to go to Quincy than to deal with their rude and delayed customer service.

I have just leased a 2013 Nissan Rogue from Coastal Nissan in Norwell MA. The minute that I walked in I felt comfortable, as this dealership is not huge and overwhelming. I was first greated by Mike Shea and told him that I was just looking and wanted to test drive some vehicles. He told me no problem and accomodated me and when I return from driving the Rogue I told him that I was interested in talking about purchasing vs leasing. He then introduced me to Mike Graney who was happy to help me with all of my questions about the car and the leasing process. I had never leased a car before and because of Mike's calm attitude I was also calm. I was never pressured and felt totally confident in dealing with Mike G. Between Mike Graney and Mike Shea they helped me reach a payment that was comfortable for me. They did not get frustrated or hurry me in any way. We just bough car number 5 there! All three daughters and a son in law! Latest was a Juke for my graduating college daughter. She loved it. It was low pressure, very professional and both Mike Graney and Ihsane Areski took all the time we needed to make the best fit for the use and the budget. The actual sale closing was as simple as i have ever had. The service staff did a wonderful job explaining all the gizmos to my daughter. I had an excellent experience purchasing my new Nissan. I went on a Saturday afternoon without my husband and spoke with Tom DiPesa. I had already done alot of research on various automobiles and I liked the Altima. He had me take a test drive in the car. I loved it, but my negotiating skills are not as good as my husband's so I did not want to negotiate that day. Tommy totally understood and said he would come in the following day on his day off. I also told him that I wanted to look at two less expensive Nissan models; however, they were at the other dealership. Tommy had those two cars delivered to Coastal for the following day. The following day I went back with my husband. I told him about the car I test drove that had the extra perks, such as leather seats, sunroof, bluetooth, etc. When we got to the dealership, I did see the two less expensive models in the parking lot, but I really was set on the car I test drove. However, I expected the price to exceed my budget. The "buying" process was quite simple. There was no pressure, gimmicks, or games. Basically, Tommy and Mike worked with us to get us into that car with a price we felt 'good about". They both truly wanted us to get the car we wanted and to remain within the price range we stated. They listened to us and they made it possible that I purchase my new Nissan with all the extras I never imagined I could have. Tom and Mike were so professional and nice. They love the product, but they care very much about the satisfied customer. I would highly recommend this dealership.

I just leased a new 2013 Altima from Coastal. I had been thinking about getting a newer car for quite some time now but was avoiding it because I didn't want to deal with the whole process. I have had very unpleasant experiences in the past with pushy salespeople and arrogant business managers at other dealerships. I decided to go to Coastal because it was close to where I live and I thought I would give it a try. I am so happy with my decision and I love my new car. My salesgirl Maddy was so helpfull and did not make me feel pressured at all. Maddy helped put me in a car with all the options I wanted. My experience with the negotiating went great. It wasn't the typical back and forth. Mike Shea was the manager that I dealt with and he was very accomodating in keeping my payments at what I wanted. I just picked up my new car yesterday and I am already so happy with it! Thanks Maddy!

I brought my Pathfinder to a local shop and they told me I needed a new radiator and quoted me over 1000.00 I called coastal spoke with Butch and he etold me they are way out of the park on pricing and get the vehicle to coastal for 2nd opinion.I am glad I did the price was way cheaper it was free still under warranty I even did my brakes and service check there and I still was under 1000.00.Thanks Butch and the entire Coastal Guys.

I recently purchased a used 2012 Nissan Altima from Maddy Clancy at Coastal Nissan and had a great overall experience! Maddy was my sales consultant and she really made the entire process enjoyable. She showed a genuine interest in Nissan's products and conveyed that enthusiasm and positivity the entire time. She knew a lot about the car and quickly addressed any issues (luckily, only minor cosmetic issues) that we noticed. I went to several other dealerships before going to Coastal Nissan and did not feel the same level of comfort and ease as I did at Nissan with Maddy. In the end, she got me an awesome deal with a car I didn't think I could afford. I would highly recommend Coastal Nissan and would look for Maddy if you are interested in purchasing a Nissan and want a great experience.

Trying to get warranty service for my daughters 2009 Murano has been impossible. She has been trying to get this resolved since last summer!The VDC light came on a few weeks after she purchased the used vehicle which was in July 2012.She brought the car in and she was told it was a part they had to order and it would be replaced at no charge because the car was under warranty. After several weeks she called them to see if the part had come in and she was told it was there. She brought the car in to have the part replaced but after a day without the car, she was told it was the wrong part and she needed a ABS actuator which would be covered under her warranty. They said they would order it and call her when it came in. She has called back many times and recently Jim told her that the part was there but now she has to speak to George regarding it being a covered service. She was told to call today, Thursday, because George would be there. She called and he was out sick. I left a message on the service manager, Matt Kittredges' voice mail today and he has not returned my call.

Friendly, informative, and not aggressive at all. As long as you educate yourself on the pros and cons of the car buying experience and the differences between the big and little guys, you will not be disappointed. I would definitely recommend Coastal Nissan if you are in the market for a car. Unlike most other dealerships there was no pressure, they are honest, and they work with you to get you into the car you want. Mike Graney was my salesman and he was polite, professional, respectful, and very knowledgeable. He even followed up with me after I had the car to make sure I was happy with it. I recently purchased a used car from Coastal Used Dealership in Cohasset. The sales associate, Jeff Johnson was friendly and informative. He was easy to talk to and didn push the sale of any one car in particular. He was very helpful and the best part of the experience, and after visiting the Main location in Norwell, I can say that the 2 sales associates in Cohasset that I met, Jeff Johnson being one of them, I felt much more comfortable in Cohasset. The only issue I had over was financing at the Norwell location, I had to drive there to hand in paperwork and after making me wait for almost 2 hours to speak with the finance manager I was brought in and felt a little bit rushed through the process and being my first time buying a car felt like he treated me as more of an inconvenience at the end of the day than a customer. I don want that to detract from the dealership and the sales associates at the Cohasset location, because I would definitely buy a car from them again, however I would not finance through Coastal again.

Mike Graney was very helpful from the first contact and he was very knowledgeable about the 2013 Altima's new features. After the initial call to Tom, he found exactly the car we were looking for. He was courteous, knowledgeable and respectful from test drive to sitting down to negotiate the purchase. Tom took the time to go through the vehicle with us explaining the features and new technology, making sure we were completely comfortable before leaving the lot. Follow up phone calls to be sure we weren't experiencing any problems weeks after showed us that we were not just another sale to him. I never thought I would have ever said that I actually had a good time buying a car as this is usually a stressful situation, but at Coastal Nissan I was never pressured or rushed into making a decison. My salesmen John was new to the dealership and was very happy to go over all the bells and whistles of the vehicle with me. As John was new, Mike Shea jumped in to help and was extremely nice and knowledgable and again, no pressure was added. Ron in financing got me to the number I wanted to be at and offered excellent advice in regards to the additonal items I purchased to keep my car in top condition. Came in to see a used vehicle for my mother and was very pleased with the process. Jeff Johnson was friendly and professional throughout - felt no pressure at any time and had all of my questions answered. The vehicle was a quality pre-owned car, and they had prepared it well for resale (rotors resurfaced, brake pads done) which I thought was great considering others pass that on to the buyer (this was done prior to seeing the vehicle - I had not asked). Negotiating the price was a fair process - they still go through everything most dealers do like offering extra services you don't really need but didn't push when declined. On the day of delivery, the TPMS light came on and they had it checked on before providing delivery. Nonetheless, the car was fresh and clean and ready exactly when promised. Most importantly, my mother was quite pleased with the choice, and I was grateful for the very positive experience provided by Jeff and the folks at Coastal.

Even though we didn't buy my wife's car during our first visit to Coastal, we knew we wanted to go back and work with Lance Ward if we could because there was no pressure and he seemed like he really wanted to help us. After trying a neighbor's Infiniti, we went back to Coastal and Lance was able to locate exactly what we wanted at an auction. Three days later, we had the car at a great price. Great experience. We started off working with Lance Ward on a new car and couldn't decide. Lance didn't pressure us and we left without buying anything the first day. After doing more research, we decided on an Infiniti, went back to Coastal, and they found us a low-mileage 2012 at a great price. The service guys did a great job cleaning it up for us and even spent nearly an hour the next day getting all the fancy new electronic stuff set up just right for my wife.

Bought Nissa NV 1500 and have peace of mind about warranty and service. I had a wonderful experience with this dealership from the moment I entered then showroom. I was greeted by a friendly (not aggressive) staff and was warmly welcomed to Coastal. Matt Carle was my first point of contact and I told him the car I was interested in and he quickly got everything in order for me to take the car for a test drive. I loved the car and knew it was going to be mine, and after some back and forth tweaking of the numbers-the car was mine. I have nothing but great things to say about my entire experience from start to finish. I purchased the car on a late Saturday afternoon-actually, I was the last customer in the showroom and Matt would not leave until he knew I was completely finished with all my paperwork with the financial department-Ron. Never did anyone make me feel as if I was keeping them from getting out of there-they were all very pleasant and accommodating. I am sure they were all tired and wanted to go home, but they never once showed it. I will never hesitate to recommend Coastal to anyone looking for a new car. I was more than pleased. Matt Carle is a fine young man who went out of his way to make sure that I was 100 percent pleased with my purchase and he was a pleasure to work with. 7/2012 was our third car purchase at Coastal Nissan, with multiple contacts as respects each vehicle. Never felt the need for a cross word, and have always found the staff helpful, polite, and considerate.Knock on wood, we have not had any major problems with the Altimas. The 2009 car we turned in was getting better than 34 miles per gallon on long trips.The 2012 is really quiet and we love the rear view cammera!

Jeff Johnson from Coastal Nissan in Norwell, Ma. Is not your typical salesman. He came with a no pressure, no problem attitude and made me right at ease.....prior to coming to Nissan Coastal I had been to Sullivan brothers in Kingston and was greeted by a young cocky kid that had no sales skills or personality. I went over to Marty's and met a nice older woman but the numbers we were given never matched up when we sat down to sign paperwork... And then our biggest disappointment was with Quirk in Braintree. I spoke with a young manover the phone 3-4x over last weekend and told him exactly what kind of truck we wanted and which options it must have. He said he could get the truck in the color I wanted, with low miles, sunroof and nav for a specific price.. It was a great price according to nada, and Kelly blue book. I told him I would be up first thing Sunday morning to put down a significant deposit and that we were serious and wanted this truck. When I got there, he had another, much older, seasoned salesman, from my home town ( coincidence??) come over and talk with me.. Bottom line, the truck I thought I was getting didn't have the sunroof that I was promised, but I could have another truck with sunroof but it wouldcost me $2000 more..I walked out of Quirk! Basically they persuaded me with price quotes just to get me up there.....so now we don't even want to buy Ford or Chevy.... Off to Nissan Coastal in Norwell, where all of the personnel greeted us with a relaxed type attitude... We saw a black Titan that we liked, we had done our homework prior and had a price in mind that we could work with... They met our price on the new Titan and our trade in.... They made the transaction smooth and seamless... I got a 1. 9 finance rate which is the lowest around ... Nissan Coastal will now be my first visit for my next auto purchase hands down.. Kids are in college and my wife needed a smaller car with better gas milage with some added bells & whistles. Had asked friends and neighbors and was given Tom DiPesa's name. We had a budget and were not going to be too flexible. Met Tom and reviewed what we were looking for. My wife just loved him and, with a little bit of going back and forth and testing several versions of the Murano, she got just what she wanted! I think you go into buying a car with a lot of pre-conceptions. Tom broke the mold and proved us wrong. I just wanted to say a few words in regards to my experience i had just recently at this dealership and i am giving them 5 stars well deserved because overall this has been the best experience i have ever had after months of searching in different places and at the end after some references i end up going to this place first time ever and everything went so smooth from the sales person ( his name was Val ) all the way to finalizing the process and to the point where i recd the car keys and drove away. I had been looking for a car since January when I walked into Coastal Nissan. I had done my research and thought I was ready to go out and find my car. Two dealerships later I walked into Coastal Nissan of Norwell. I was deflated and frustrated with my search. As a single women, lugging around an infant, I had been shown cars I didn't want to look at, I had been gawked at by sales people and I was disheartened to say the least. Then I walked into Coastal Nissan. I was greeted with smiles and then welcomed by an old friend. I truly felt like I had come home. My sales person Chris was helpful and I felt comfortable telling him what I wanted. The entire time he was professional and reassured me that there was no pressure to buy. He just wanted to find me a good car that would fit my little family. He did everything he promised. Not only did he find me the car I wanted he found a car in my price range. In addition, he kept in constant contact with me to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. This was the second time I had bought a car from Coastal. I do not know why I bothered looking at other dealerships before I drove up to Norwell, but I will not make that mistake again. Coastal Nissan is a great place to buy a car. At their dealership there are none of the usual car dealer BS sales tactics. All of the folks that we have dealt with there are good people. Coastal will work with you to get you a great price assuming your expectations are reasonable and you have researched the numbers prior to negotation. That pretty much sums it up, but continue reading if you want details.My wife and I have purchased our last two vehiclesa 09 Versa and a 11 Frontier, both newfrom the Norwell location. Since we had a good experience buying my wifes Versa a couple of years ago, when it was time for me to get a new vehicle, we decided to return to Coastal. If you are an educated customer who does their homework in regards to pricing and incentives, Coastal is as competitive as dealers come on pricing based on our experience. If you dont get a good deal from them, its probably your own fault for not being informed before you walk into the showroom.For both purchases we worked with Eben Gunnarson and Steve Delaney. I highly recommend both of them as friendly, straightforward people who provide good service. Steve especially has been very helpful post-sale and goes well above and beyond what you would normally expect in regards to post-sale service and support. Matt Kittridge, the service manager, has also been very helpful in trying to resolve an ongoing issue (read on for details).When it comes to service, Coastal doesnt turn its back on you post-sale. I have had an ongoing noise issue with the Frontiers blower motor (in the climate control system) since taking delivery, and Coastal, including the sales and service guys, have been working with me and Nissan corporate to try to find a resolution to this issue since it started. Granted, this is a relatively minor problem and everything is functional, but for a new truck, this problem doesnt seem acceptable to me. Unlike most dealers, who I think would turn their back to the issue and say tough luck, the guys at Coastal have been working on my behalf to find some resolution. To me this speaks to the fact that Coastal does not just want to sell you a carthey want to make you a repeat customer via good sales and service practices.If you are in the market for a new car, it is well worth the drive from anywhere in the greater Boston area to check out Coastal. Do your research beforehand and you will get a good deal and great service.

I felt a little insulted that they asked me to be more flexible with the price. I visited Coastal Nissan in Cohasset to look at a low- mileage 2008 Liberty. I ended up buying it after a brief test drive. The sales staff, particularly Lance, were all very helpful and really gave the impression that they were all working for me. They really have car buying down to a science. I got there a little after 11, and by 6 I was driving my "new" car home, with financing at a favorable rate, and all the paperwork headaches taken care of by them. Both my daughter and I have now bought cars from Coastal (she bought a brand new VW from them) and would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or used car!

Got a quote on my exhaust system that needed to be replaces from another auto shop and walked away with a receipt stating I needed $800 worth of work. Because I bought my car from Coastal back in April, I went to their Cohasset location on Saturday morning and they fixed my car for a fraction of the price. Very friendly atmosphere and they get the job done the right way. All of my questions were answered, and I left with a very quiet car.

This is my second car that I have obtained from Coastal Nissan in the past five years. I originally got a new Pathfinder for my daughter and wanted to return this time and get a new Nissan sedan for myself. I am very impressed by Nissan quality, performance and reliability. So now I wanted to focus on a sedan. However, I had done my homework. I have had a number of very well equipped higher end vehicles. I researched a new Toyota/Avalon as I have had 3 Camry V6 XLEs and was very impressed with Toyota Quality and wanted to step up a notch. I also looked at a new Honda, as I have had 2 Accord EXL V6s and they we very reliable cars. And I also looked at the new sporty VW/CC V6 as a new entry and a big step up in a luxury vehicle for VW. All three are very nice cars. However I was struck by the sporty nature of the Maxima, coupled with the classy looks and all the design features on the highest end model. So my choices were defined, and I decided to go to Coastal Nissan to view the models, drive a car, and get some hands on time in the dealership. I had done my research on all the other three vehicle choices and walked in the dealership with a good idea of what I wanted to know about the Maxima and compare that to the other potential choices. I decided to see what the salesman had to say about the car, interact with him, and see if/why I should choose to get the Maxima over the other vehicles. That's when I had the very good fortune to meet my sales person, Chris Wright. What a great guy. He was a very bright and displayed a depth of knowedge about Nissan cars that was very impressive. It was clear he was a highly qualified/competent sales professional. I know a good sales guy when I meet them--because that's exactly what I am--I have been in Sales/Marketing for close to 40 years. I am selling advanced Defense Electronics to the Military. And I am an Electrical engineer (two degrees)and am very technically savvy. So I understand technology, engineering, and cars. I was prepared to get a full briefing and deeper understanding of features and benefits of the Maxima from the Nissan Sales person. Chris was able not only to answer all my questions, but provided something far more valuable to me--insight into how the various attributes of the car would satisfy the needs that I expressed as a customer. That's a unique trait for a salesman. He was a good listener and was able to translate my needs into the right vehicle for me. He went out of his way to help me, explain things, assist in my trade offs--so I can make the right choices for my vehicle. He was patient with me as I asked my complex questions, and offered the right guidance to me. He went far beyond my expectations of what I would have anticipated from the salesperson. Quite frankly, it was his professional demeanor, his product knowledge and his personal sales skills that lead me to the right decision to choose a vehicle from Coastal Nissan. He is solid.. I obtained the right car for me, the most loaded(expensive) and well equipped Maxima that Nissan offered. And was given a very good deal by the Chris. Mission Accomplished. Val showed me the car and took me for a test drive he explained all the cars attributes and wasnt pushy which is a great thing,the car spoke for its self. Sean took care of running the numbers to come up with a workable agreement for me, And Ron the finance manager made it all happen with the best deal I could have hoped for. I am a repeat customer of Coastal Nissan and wanted to share my most recent experience with two very professional team members at the dealership (Ron Singer & Nate Billings). I am sure the readers of this review can relate to the level of excitement one gets when they are about to enter a dealership to purchase a new vehicle (kidding, I dont know anyone who looks forward to this). I literally had two days to return my existing lease and get into something new. I spoke with Ron before I came in an told him my situation. Ron heads up financing at Coastal and said come right in and see me. I will make it simple and take care of you. I literally was thinking wow, do I really have a car dealership. When I got to the dealership Ron welcomed me into his office and introduced me to Nate Billings from the sales team. Ron basically repeated the same thing he said on the phone. We are going to make this simple and take care of you. This is exactly what the two of theme did. We looked at a few options of cars, finally selected the model I wanted and they went to work for me. I have to leave to get back to the office for a few hours and they were totally fine with that. Have you ever had a car dealer actually suggest you leave the dealership? Ron told me to come back in a few hours which I did. As I pulled in a saw the car we talked about all cleaned up sitting over on the side, which clearly I thought was for someone else. As I walked into Ron's office he and Nate said your allset and the vehicle is yours to drive away. I said TODAY...NOW?Anyways, I could go on forever, but hopefully this is helpful to you. This was simple, they took care of me and I left the dealership with a brand new car at a price I felt good about.Ron and Nate. THANK YOU!

My experience at Coastal Nissan was awesome. I was not originally in the market for a new car but my previous car was having some major mechanical issues and I ended up selling it for parts. I'm only 24 and I'll admit i don't have the best credit but Ron Singer in the financial department went above and beyond to get me to a monthly payment that is more then workable on the car of my dreams! I am very satisfied with everything the dealership has done for me and will be going back for service as long as I need to. While the Miles were High, the price was right and it was Equipped perfectly. I purchased my previous 2 cars at Coastal and always have been treated well, so when I needed a car (again) in a hurry that was my first stop. I worked with Chris Wright, gave him some pretty narrow parameters to search and was able to test drive each car that met the criteria. I wasn't easy to please but Chris was really easy to work with. What I really appreciated was Chris' attention and willingness to answer all my questions and try and work through some minor glitches with me. Mike Shea was also really helpful in helping me get the deal done. I plan on driving this car for a long time but I would definitely shop for a car here again. I would definitely go back to Coastal Nissan to purchase another vehicle. My wife and I had not purchased a new car since 1988 and we werent looking forward to the hassle of price haggling on this one. Our sales persons name is Brian Sullivan and he did an excellent job. He seemed to understand that we wanted to shop at at least one more dealership and so did Esan the floor manager.(Im not saying they liked it but I think they understood it) Even though they gave a very aggressive price we had promised a family member that we would go to a person that they had just recently bought a car from. That visit turned out to be a waste of time because they could not come close to the price for the car that Coastal gave us. So we went back to Coastal thinking they would come up with some excuse for not being able to give us the car for that price but that did not happen. We actually drove away that afternoon with a new car for a price that we wanted to pay. I would have to say that the people we dealt with at Coastal were professional, courteous and understanding.If I had to do it all over again, I would not shop around. I would do a little more internet research and only go to one dealership (in the future, Coastal) and see if they could give me the car I wanted for the price I wanted. I think gone are the days of dealer shopping for the same type of car.Coastal by far exceeded my expectations. After a fairly negative experience with another dealer a month prior, I was a bit defensive coming to Coastal Nissan. Surprisingly, the folks I worked with were understanding and wanted to make sure that my experience was positive whether I purchased the car from them or not. All along the way, the team at Coastal Nissan were up front with me and gave me all the information I needed to make my choice of buying my Nissan Juke from Coastal Nissan. I wish I would have started my search at Coastal, it would have made my life a lot less stressful!!There are dealers closer to me but I will continue to drive an extra 10 miles to support Coastal Nissan when I need regularly scheduled maintenance or other repairs because of the great service I experienced from their sales team.

Dragged my husband out to look for a new car. He despises car shopping. Went to Coastal Nissan after looking online for an Altima. We had been contacted by Jeff Johnson. In dealing with Jeff online, on the phone and in person we couldn't have been happier. Jeff was friendly, knowledgable and courteous. He was everything you could ask for when looking to buy a new car. Once we actually got to the dealership my husband got more into it thanks to Jeff. I started looking for a new car in January as I was ready to trade in my 2000 Acura. After doing a lot of homework I settled on a Nissan Altima as a result of great reviews. I was contacted by Sean Miller of Coastal after going to the Nissan website on Sunday, June 12. He was very friendly and refreshingly brief. He simply asked which car I was interested in, model, color etc. and said he'd have one for me to test drive at the appointment we set up for Saturday, June 18 at 1 PM. Sean called me on Friday, June 17 to confirm. When I arrived at the beautiful showroom 10 minutes early I was immediately greeted and offered a bottle of water and told that Sean would be right with me. We went for a test drive in the exact car I asked for, but I mentioned I wasn't sure about the color. I was then amazed that he was able to show me another color, which I LOVED, with all the same bells and whistles that I had asked for. During the negotiation process, I asked if I could call my daughter in PA. and he said sure. Well, long story short, both Sean and his sales manager Eban, ended up speaking at length to Allison until all agreed on what turned out to be a great deal. As a senior citizen (71) she is very protective of me and they both were so respectful and patient and generous with their time that I felt totally taken care of. A most unusual experience, as a woman alone buying a car according to everything I've heard and experienced in the past. I was able to drive my new car home Saturday and I absolutely love it and I highly recommend Coastal and Sean Miller. A small detail but very important to me is that the logo they put on the back of the car is very classy. Can you tell by now there is nothing I don't like about Coastal?

I pulled into the driveway and let out a deep sigh. "Here we go again" I thought, "another soulless money grubbing sales associate willing to lie to me to keep their job." Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Ben is a great guy. He took my wife and I out for a spin in a Versa, which to tell you the truth I couldn't see myself in. After Ben went over the pros and cons of the car...and lets not forget the price point...I started to really like the car. Ben was informative, friendly, and very relaxed. I didn't feel like he was "selling" me something, and that goes a long way in my book. Anyway, long story short. I give Coastal Nissan and their sales associate Ben a thumbs up. I originally went to Coastal Nissan in Cohasset to check on a used 2008 Nissan Frontier. I was informed by Lance Ward the truck had been sold the day before. He was busy with another customer but immediately had another sales associate speak with me. I spoke with Nate who was very helpful with information regarding the Frontiers. After speaking with Nate, I decided to meet him later in the day in Norwell to test drive a new Frontier. I went to Norwell but was unable to be waited on by Nate and he had Shawn Miller speak with me regarding new Frontiers. Shawn was very personable. He was friendly but not overbearing. He let me test drive three different Frontiers of differing levels of options. He was patient answered all questions asked and I never felt pressured to buy. I have bought many cars over the years and have never looked forward to the experience. Shawn Miller made buying this truck a pleasant experience. After deciding to buy the truck Mike Shea, the sales manager was pleasant and fair with the negotiating. He was easy going and made the process quick and painless. Ron in financing was was professional and pleasant to deal with. He was able to secure a great financing rate which enabled me to add a remote starter to my new vehicle. The rate was a full percentage point below my own credit union. Overall, I had a great experience at Coastal Nissan, both in Cohasset and Norwell. I would recommend Coastal Nissan and I plan on returning for service there on my new truck.

I would definitely recommend this dealership and my sales guy Chris Wright to anybody. They were very helpful in getting my payment plan to a comfortable price point and the overall experience was great! They were great in working around my own work schedule which was a key for me. Chris was extremely professional and I felt like he was on my side during the buying process and really genuinely wanted to get me the best price that he was capable of. Not only that but on the day that I was supposed to pick up the car, I didn't have a ride to the dealership and Chris drove the car to my house, about 15 minutes out of his way to drop it off for me! Chris is the man and I would send anybody to him and recommend him any day of the week, ask for Chris Wright when you walk in the doors. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way about Coastal Nissan was one of their business managers. While I will give him credit for helping me to quickly get paperwork filed so I could get the car as quick as I could, his salesmanship was nonexistent and he made our price negotiation feel like a battle of two egos rather than showing empathy and understanding for his customer like any professional salesman would. He made it seem like giving me $200 off the sticker price was doing me a huge favor and not once did I hear him say "Thank you for your business". Again, no salesmanship.

I can't tell you how pleased I am with Shawn Miller and the whole Nissan experience. As a first-time Nissan driver, I wasn't sure what to expect. The office is immaculate and comfortable, great music playing btw in the background, nice amenities in the waiting room. The show cars look very inviting. Immaculate and spaced well so you can really walk around them and be comfortable. Shawn was uber-professional yet also very down-to-earth. He has a 'no pressure' vibe, which I truly appreciated. When I picked up the car tonight, he made sure I got all the info I needed, helped me set everything up like the Bluetooth and navigation etc. I can just about manage my TV remote controls, and Shawn made the gadgets seem easy. I walked out a couple of hours later, the proud owner of a 2011 Nissan Rogue (which I love). Eben was very personable and friendly but not pushy. We were in the market for an new vehicle but could have waited a bit longer. We test drove the 2010 Murano after making sure it would fit our hockey equipment. Yes, it did! We meet up with Nate and gave us all relevant information and then some on the vehicle. It drove well and I loved it. Once the process was starting, it was the same as other dealerships - the haggling over payment and trade in. It went relatively smooth but I had to insist that I could get the payment down just by qualifying for a loan outside of Coastal. They quoted me at a rate that was double what I qualified for. It seemed like I had to make the payment work on my end for them to come down and agree. I know some people will state that they qualify for a lower interest rate than what is offered, but it took some convincing on my part for them to believe me. We purchased the car and then come to find out it took even longer to register the vehicle due to how it was previously registered. My issue was not how long it would take to register, but that we were never told how long it would take. I almost had to go in and resign paperwork for the bill of sale as I was now driving it without any registration. I was told that WE were TOLD that it would take a few extra days. This was not the case. It felt like they were just trying to sell me a car and buy to sell my trade in with in days. A twofer in the same week....Well, it all got resolved and we are now all set. They did take care of my bumper paint job and that looks great. Not sure if I will get another Murano, as I have not purchased the same make - always buying different types of vehicles due to our needs, but I would go back to Coastal to discuss another purchase. Nate and Steve were great during this whole process.

I have bought several cars of different makes in the past, really liked the cars, but absolutely not the car buying experience. Coastal Nissan is the exception.I had done research on several new cars from different makers and was settling on just buying the newer version of the car I had. But I saw a car I liked at Nissan and called to take a test drive. Joe Monk was super - professional, friendly, very informative and helpful, he thoroughly answered every question I had about the car and Nissan in general as a car maker. Joe really went "the extra distance" to make sure I got the exact vehicle I was looking for.Mike Shea's professional and no-pressure manner made even the process of settling on a good purchase price a very positive experience.My family will definitely be visiting Coastal Nissan when we are ready to get the next car.

Horrible experience! I've been doing research for a new car and know what I want to look at and just need to test drive to make a final decision. We I arrived, Joe greeted me and told me to come to his table, even though I was still walking around the show room looking at the cars. Then HE talked and finally I after asked said yeah lets go outside and look at a car. The cars were packed tightly together, not his fault, but he told me to slide in between the cars and to LOOK inside the window so I could see what the car looked like. Never once did he offer to move the car out so I could open the doors. I had to ask for him to pull the car out and I had to ask for a test drive. The car is key-less and to demonstrate the feature with locking and unlocking Joe did all the work. I NEVER once held the key. During the test drive, he was very bossy and would not shut up. He was only concerned with making a sale and that was very obvious. Although the car had a lot less features than other cars I've looked at on the sale scale, he kept trying to sell me on the fact why his car was better when clearly it wasn't. Joe also kept asking, "what is it going to take for me to get you to buy this car?" and "if you don't buy today, this deal will not be here tomorrow". I felt VERY bullied by Joe and extremely uncomfortable. I would NOT recommend Coastal Nissan based on Joe. Maybe they should get rid of him...

I went to Coastal on a whim because of an ad. I ended up buying a 2011 Sentra. The building made a very nice presentation as I stepped in and I was warmly greeted. Jeff was a delight. He made made me feel as though I was the only cusomter in the world. He gave me a lot of personal attention, was very knowledgeable and really listened to my needs. I never felt pressured. He went over and above with with his customer care. He even helped me clean out my trunk and load my things into the Sentra. I drove away happy and a very satisifed customer. Ron, in the business office was great, as well. He really had to work hard to make the numbers work. I feel that he went out of his way to help me. He really knew his business. Everything was done in a timely manner.I would definetly recommend Coastal to anyone.

I found Coastal Nissan thru the car buying service offered by my insurance. Although they are about an hour from my home, I decided to visit the dealership. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the sales staff, managers and business people.They listened to what I was looking for in a new vehicle and found it for me. Ben made my experience at Coastal Nissan much more enjoyable than any experience I had had at other car dealerships over the previous 9 months. He treated me like an educated consumer, not like a little girl. He also didn't try to sell me on features that he knew I wasn't interested in. He did, however, work hard to get me the price I wanted on the used Pathfinder that I bought. I never thought I would buy an SUV the first time I drove it, but my experience at Coastal Nissan was too easy! I'm very happy to have bought a Pathfinder, after driving another Pathfinder for almost 7 years. So far the SUV is running great. I have no complaints. And I am confident that if I have a question about my truck I can call or e-mail Ben any time. Everyone at the dealership was fair and easy to work with. My husband also had a good experience when it came time to work out financing. I'd definitely send someone interested in a new or used Nissan to Coastal Nissan.

My whole experience at Coastal Nissan was more than I expected. The salesman, Joe Monk was great. I test drove two cars and he was very knowledgable about both and helped to make the decision process as easy as possible. He was not only very knowledgable about both vehicles, but friendly as well. I never felt like I was talking to a 'salesman', I felt as if he was genuinely interested in what exactly I was looking for and really listened to what I was saying. There weren't any surprises during the process, and I never felt like I was getting cheated out of anything. My whole experience, from when I first checked out the website until I walked out with the keys to my new car was superb. This is our second new car purchase we have ever made. We purchased our first new car in August 2010 and were so pleased with the experience at Coastal Nissan AND with Eben that there was no doubt in our mind that we would ONLY buy from them and Eben when we were ready to get our next car. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted but we did have a budget. Eben went over ALL our options with us...very patiently and was sure to keep the ball in our court with our satisfaction and budget his number one priority. We never felt pressured or sales pitched in any way! It was like we were sitting down 'talking' cars with a friend. Eben was very knowledgeable about the various cars we test drove. Coastal Nissan is almost 100 miles from our home (90+ miles ONE WAY)...an hour and a half car ride...this is a testament to the impeccable experience had at Coastal Nissan...that we made this trip and we would make it again!

Wow. What a great experience I had at Costal Nissan. I was in the market for a rare Nissan Juke SL AWD in Gun Metallic. The Nissan website indicated that Costal had one so I called and made an appointment. I worked with Ben Webber. The Juke was en route and Ben was confident that it was arriving in the next week. What clinched the deal for me was that Ben offered a loaner car until the Juke came in. WOW! No other Nissan dealer (I was working with 5 others to find a Juke) was as professional and helpful as Costal and Ben. As Ben said, the Juke came in the next week and I took delivery. Mike the manager was also helpful. The only negative comment I have is the high-pressure sales tactics of the business manager (I think his name was Sean) when I signed the paperwork. I made it clear that all I wanted to buy was the car but he was VERY aggressive about the extended warranty and Simoniz GlassCoat. No big deal. Just watch out when you go in to pay for the car.I love my Juke SL. Great car and a great buying experience.

In our search for a used car, we came across two types of salespeople. The first was the young cheap suit wearing, winking, "I'll just go check with my manager" type. The second was the career salesman who felt it was his job to convince the purchaser that we should be thanking him for paying too much. After finally purchasing our car at Coastal Nissan I see there is a third type of salesman: Ben Webber.Ben not only treated us as though we were fellow human beings (which I would not say about all of the other salesmen we met recently), he was also fair, easygoing and knowledgeable. The manager at Coastal also introduced himself briefly and seemed very personable. The car is great and I feel the price was fair and less expensive compared to the other dealerships we looked at.I will definitely recommend Coastal Nissan to my friends.

Our salesperson, Ben, was wonderful. He answered all of our questions clearly and thoroughly. He was very straight forward regarding price and was easy to contact with any questions throughout the process. My only complaint is the internet sales team. From the time I began looking at the dealerships website, I received 2-3 emails daily, sometimes up to 5. The emails even continued (though less of them, 1-2 per day) after asking them to refrain from emailing me. The emails were so annoying that we considered not going to Coastal Nissan.

We didn't plan on buying an automobile the day we stopped by the dealer. We had bought our last two automobiles at the same dealership. We met Nate Billings who was very friendly but not pushy like your typical auto salesman. He gave us a good price and was very knowledgeable about the 2010 Altima we were looking at. He comes across as someone who realy likes his job which is pretty unusual in this day and age. When we picked up our auto Nate spent quite a long time explaining everything about the car and answering all our questions which was so helpful to us. No follow up after the sale. It was very hard to work a deal. I went in based on my conversations and e-mails with the internet sales but when I got there I had to start from scratch with the sales department. Once we agreed to a deal they kept us there forever to do the paperwork because they would not let us leave without the paperwork being signed.

We showed up the dealership Friday morning 11/04/10 to look at a used 2009 Murano, Bed was the first person to great my husband and I at the door. Ben was more then friendly and did not take offense when I told him he had only 45 mintues to tell me about the vehicle I wanted to look at. In 45 minutes he was able to answer all my questions and take my husband and I for a test drive. I was sold on the vehicle but did not have enough time to go through with the paperwork so we told Ben we would be back tomorrow morning and he said he would be there first thing to help us. Saturday morning we were there right after they opened and Ben was again the first person at the door to great us and had everything ready to go. Ben and the dealership were quick and effecient and my husband and I were able to drive home in our new Murano!I must say it is an hour and fourty-five minute drive from our home and the fact that we were willing to make the drive two days in a row says something. I would recommend this dealer and sales rep Ben Webber to anyone in the market for a new or used Nissan, and when the time comes for my husband to trade in his truck we will be making the drive again with pleasure!Thank you everyone at Coastal Nissan!

Buying my first car was a huge ordeal.I was really nervous about making my first big purchase. I spent numerous Saturdays at car dealerships all over the South Shore, and by far had the most positive experience at Coastal Nissan. Mike Shea could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. He helped guide me to the car that was perfect for me. The finance office helped design a plan that gave me affordable monthly payments, and Sean Callis was very kind and patient in explaining to me the various options I had for insurance. I am not very knowledgeable about cars, but Shawn Miller spent a lot of time going over every detail of the car with me and made sure that all of my questions were answered. i hate buying cars, have never owned a new car in my life. my wife wanted a convertible,kids gone, its time. she found a number of toyota solara's around the country and i was willing to fly to buy. she found a 2007 at this dealership, on line, nogotiated with them, setteled on a price over the phone, wired a deposit, next day flew from Phila to Mass, took a bus to a "park and ride", they picked me up, finilized the deal and within 4 hours was driving back to my home in NC in my "new" 2007 toyota convertible solara. the car is beautiful, Nate was fantastic, Lindsey in finiance was great to work with. overall i'd have to say it was a home run.

I was very pleased in dealing with Joe. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. If I could have dealt only with Joe, I would have rated everything excellent. But......... The floor manager happened to be standing nearby and inserted himself into the process creating some unnecessary pressure, when Joe and I were doing just fine. It has been quite a while since I purchase a vehicle and fortunately the experience was painless with exception of pressure by upper management when we were trying to settle on the final price & Trade-in value, not too pleasant. However, eventually the out come was positive. The other negative was the the time it took to complete the entire process, I was there around noon on Sunday and did not leave till 4:30ish..Nearly 5 hours. Yikes. Its like going to the dentist, painful at first then always end in a good note. I will definitely recommend Coastal Nissan to my friends and families if they too decide to leave Acura for Nissan.

The experience was generally positive. After checking local dealers, Joe-the Coastal salesman- was the most informative. He knows Nissans, explains them well, and has a pleasant manner. Unfortunately settling on a car price + trade-in produced strong pressure from upper management- not pleasant. If you don't buy a new car frequently, be prepared! Very slow paperwork. During two visits it took close to 5 hours to complete, including new plates- mostly while we sat there or looked at the cars! I would have preferred to have it done and just show up when it was ready. Not sure that's an option...

Overall very good experience. Shawn is new at selling cars but he did a great job. I really wanted to buy a car from him and I'm glad I did! My only glitch was that he was not available when I picked up my car and I did not get the same quality of service from the person who delivered the car to me. Shawn has stayed in contact wirh me after I picked up my car to make sure the glitches were solved and they were. Our family had been long term loyal customers of a local Chevy dealership in our town, which had to cut it's ties GM a few years ago. As much as we were looking for a replacement vehicle for our high mileage SUV, we were also on the search for a new dealership that we could develop a trusting, long term relationship for sales and service. After some disappointing interactions with other dealers, I was extremely pleased by the professionalism, courtesy and coordination among the staff at Coastal's Norwell and Cohasett facilities. I stopped by the Norwell showroom in July 31 without an appointment and was warmly greeted by Marcel Boule. Marcel took the time and asked the right questions to get a solid handle on what we were looking for (vehicle and professional / courteous service). He quickly located a Pathfinder that suited our needs at the Cohasett showroom, and after a short round trip we had our vehicle back in Norwell.Traditionally, the sticky part of any vehicle purchase has been the effort to reach consensus on trade in value and purchase price. Today, there is so much information available to consumers (via the web) that allot of the "mystery" within that process has since been eliminated. Marcel was quite aware of how this has influenced the sales process, and we had a very productive conversation that virtually eliminated the long drawn out back and forth negotiation process commonly associated with vehicle purchases. Initial pricing for the vehicle I was interested in was very fair. My experience with Coastal's pricing strategy was that starting with a realistic price up front resulted in a much more effective/efficient sales process, in comparison to how other dealers may use overinflated prices that subsequently have to be "worked down" multiple times to more realistic levels.After agreeing on the vehicle and price, I met with Sean to begin paperwork. Sean was also a professional.....friendly, organized and efficient. Sean offered a thorough explanation of warranty and other post sales add-ons, but did not wast time trying to oversell. I was pressed for time due to a prior commitment, and returned to the dealership the next day to complete the paperwork with Lyndsay. After such positive interactions with Marcel and Sean, working with Lyndsay was just as enjoyable...friendly, thorough, and quite efficient.I have to comment on Marcel's ability to really manage the process well from end to end. This included overseeing all of the sales paperwork, vehicle registration, coordinating with my insurance company, scheduling an appointment for detailing, and for the vehicle inspection sticker at the Cohasett facility. He also noted my vehicle was supplied with only one key, and I'd be dead in the water if it ever got misplaced! He's arranging to supply a second key.I have to thank Marcel and the team at Coastal Nissan for making this such a positive car buying experience. Not only did we locate the a good vehicle, we found a dealership that understands what good customer service is all about, and one that we can stay with. I orginally went to Coastal Nissan looking for a fully loaded 2010 Altima Coupe. Apparently those are rare to find, but Brandon stayed late searching for the car I wanted. He found seven of them in a five hour radius and would have drove to get the car if I decided that I was ready to purchase. I ended up deciding on a new Maxima, which I must say, anyone driving an Altima needs to make the upgrade. Coastal had a Maxima in stock with all the options I wanted, and the rest of the sales process was smooth sailing. They were very fair on my trade-in and gave me great deal on lease. Couldn't be happier!

I started out my search by emailing several dealerships and I was so pleased with my email correspondences from Coastal Nissan I decided to purchase from them. The dealership is located almost 100 miles away from my house so I was a bit hesitant to make the journey yet I was assured it would be well worth my drive. I hoped it to be true and made the trip! When I got there, I was beyond pleased with the atmosphere. I had to bring my 15 month old with me. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They even had a (CLEAN) play area for children and coloring books/puzzles/crayons for them to keep! Eben listened to all my wants and needs and helped me narrow my search down even further. I made a decision to go with the Nissan Rogue, he filled out all the paperwork and at the last minute, I decided that I wanted to go with my other choice the Nissan Sentra! I felt like such a pain in the neck but he was soo understanding and wanted me to be happy and comfortable...he switched everything around and made it so not an issue! Although Coastal Nissan is located so far from my home, the staff and deal I got on my car were absolutely worth the drive and I even plan on bringing my car there for services! Don't think twice about buying from another dealership...Coastal Nissan is THE BEST!PS The restrooms were also VERY nice and clean...even had changing table!

Let me start by saying like most guys, I hate shopping and shopping for a car is the worst kind of shopping as far as I'm concerned. Besides the car payments, I have always detested the car buying process. The industry has rightly earned the unflattering reputation it has received. With the help of the internet, I found 3 used cars that met my specs for year, model, mileage, options and pricing. Coastal was the 3rd dealership I visited. I still had work to do as I had not received final quotes from the other 2 dealers. Earlier in the week I called Coastal about a used Maxima I saw in their inventory and received a prompt call back from Jeff Johnson, Manager. Upon arriving at Coastal, Jeff greeted me warmly and introduced me to Ben Webber who spent time with me to understand the car's history, features and pricing. He was very knowledgeable about the fine details which were many as I was looking at the top of the line Maxima with every option available including Navigation which has its own set of manuals to understand. My intent was to drive the car and find out what Coastal's best price was and then have that available for a later afternoon meeting with another dealer. I had no intent on buying a car that day. However, Ben and his manager made an offer so compelling (and without the long delays involving the typical ping pong match between me and the manager) that I decided to pull the trigger and buy the car that day. While Ben and Sean (his manager who came out to greet me personally - another first) motivated me to make a decision that day (they feared if I left they wouldn't see me again), they always treated me with respect and did not try to use any pressure sales tactics that some dealers use. Once I made the decision, they washed and detailed the car while I signed paperwork with the Finance Manager Lindsey. who accepted a personal check for the downpayment (a first for me - I always needed a bank check in the past) and explained everything I needed to know and answered my questions completely. She had a good sense of humor as she multi-tasked speaking with me about Disney (her favorite subject) and cracked jokes while continuing to punch away at her computer to create my file. The bottom line was I left Coastal as a very happy customer with a beautiful used car and feeling like I got a great deal for an excellent car at a dealership that knows how to make the car buying experience a positive one. When I arrived home I realized I had left my sunglasses in my trade-in and called Ben who promised to mail them to me ASAP. Thank you Ben, Sean and Lindsey for dispelling my fears for car dealers and car shopping and making this one of the best shopping experiences of my life.

I visited Coastal Nissan on the recommendation of a friend who had just purchased there and waited for her sales rep, Brandon, because of the praise she had given him. Brandon made me feel very comfortable, unlike many other dealerships I had visited while car shopping. He is laid back, but maintains professionalism throughout the sale. At no point did I feel pressured or obligated to buy. I actually purchased the same day that I test drove because of these reasons, as well as the great deal that I never expected to get. Brandon even gave me an extra discount for being a recent college grad! I have recommended this dealership to friends and family already and am completely satisfied with my purchase. I really didn't think I would be buying a new car so quickly when I walked into Coastal Nissan but then I met Nate. He was so friendly and gave me lots of great information about the Rogue, and encouraged me to take advantage of the great summer savings rebate. Then he worked really hard to get me the best price for the car I wanted. He knew that I had looked at competing dealerships and gave me many good reasons for staying with Coastal Nissan. He was honest, sincere, and genuine in his enthusiasm for the dealership and its ties to the local community. He made me feel that my decision truly mattered and that he would do whatever it took to make me happy and get me the car that I really wanted. I had been looking for a new car for a couple months before I came to Coastal Nissan. I was interested in the Nissan Sentra and my daughter and I went to check one out in Norwell, as that was the closest location to us. Nate greeted us at the door and was extremely pleasant and helpful. Unlike some past experiences with salesmen, Nate was very honest and open. He was very helpful at explaining about the car, yet he didn't drown us with information, but left time for us to think. We saw a Sentra that we liked and Nate stayed after hours so that we could make the purchase. It was a pleasure doing business with Nate, and I would definitely recommend this dealership. My overall experience was very satisfactory. Nate and the other people were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this dealership to my friends.My only issue was time. I seemed like I had to wait an incrediable amount of time each day I came in. Instead of making people wait, maybe you could set appointments.I understand the importance of writing a review but to have a limit of characters that have to be used is ridiculous.

This is the second experience I've had buying a car from this dealership and both times have been great and both times my wife and I worked with Isahn. He is a very friendly and low pressure salesman. We both felt very comfortable working with him. I think the dealership is very competitive as far as their price and their customer service is definitely better than any other dealership I have dealt with. I was also impressed with their honesty, I asked for a certain amount for my trade-in and they came back and offered me more than I asked for because they knew they could sell it for more. I don't think there are a lot of dealerships out there that would do that. I would definitely buy another car from them.

I was in the market for a new vehicle - was not sure whether to lease or buy. I had the extreme luck of being waited on by Joe Monk. I looked at several cars at several dealerships and the shopping experience overall left a sour taste in my mouth. Coastal Nissan was the exception. I worked with Nate (can't remember his last name) and he was very easy to work with. No high pressure sales or running back and forth to the "guy in the back room". They offered me a very competitive price and found the vehicle I was looking for, in another state. I had delivery 2 days later and couldn't be happier. I am an insurance agent and I get to see the sloppy, ugly side dealers can sometimes present. As an agency we never have any issues with Coastal. I purchased a used 2008 Nissan Altima and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff was informative and pleasant without the "in your face" approach. I was internet surfing for a late model used car. I found a 2008 Nissan Altima at Coastal that I was very interested in. I made an appointment with Nate Billings to see and test drive the car. This car turned out to be exactly what I wanted. Since I was pressed for time I had to return the next day with my vehicle to assess the price of the trade in. I was satisfied with the trade in value so the transaction was made. This was BY FAR the least stressful purchase that I had ever made. Nate was very professional, friendly and not at all "pushy" I really felt as though he was there to help me, not just to make a quick sale.I had a few questions after buying the car and Nate was extremely helpful. He made it very clear thsat he would continue to discuss any questions that I might have in the future, He did not treat me any differently afer the sale had been completed. Everyone else I spoke to there was also extremely friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend Coatstal..and Nate to friends and family. I had done my research and found a couple of nice 2008 used Altimas that Coastal Nissan were offering at a competitive rate - particularly an Altima SL 2008, certified with low mileage for a competitive price, though this was not my first choice (as the one I was thinking was more in my budget had sold previous to me making it to the dealership - missed it by a day). I had shown up to the dealership around 4:30 to look around. When the sales rep I had communicated with briefly online was not available, Tom DiPesa made himself available to answer any questions I had, as well as to make sure I was buying the right vehicle for me. Being a larger guy, he knew that the Altima was probably the smallest sedan that he'd like to see me in (though I will admit, it was fun trying to fit into a Versa). That wasn't my only hurdle - I have had credit problems in the past as well, but I have worked hard over the last few years and have corrected myself enough to be able to qualify for decent financing offers. Given my relatively strict budget, Tom suggested that he may be able to get me a BETTER deal on a new 2010 Altima S series -- and he was right! He was able to come almost $2000 lower on the brand new S series than he was on the certified SL series, and keep it within my budget. There was a great deal of consideration taken into my options -- while I did my research and knew what I could afford and what I would and wouldn't do in terms of buying new/used/etc, Tom was more than patient with me and again helped me into the perfect car for my situation - even if it kept us there till closing time. Sean, one of the business managers for Coastal, was still there and began my credit applications that evening, but because it was so late had said it would be best if he picked my file up first thing in the morning when he got in. He did, and had good news for me by 10am -- I'd been approved (at a very fair rate for my checkered credit history). By noon time that day (today), my new Altima had been detailed, the paperwork was done, and I was able to drive off the lot with my very first new car. In general, my experience with Coastal Nissan was very low-pressure and overall, very high quality. While I've purchased used cars from other dealerships in the past that had certain gimmicks, Coastal plays it very straight, but is there for their customers. I would recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a new or used car.

Wonderful experience!!! Have been shopping around for a month or so, tried everything from used car lots to new car dealers, Coastal hands down the best experience of all. Glenn Presutti was very knowledgable, helpful, and friendly as were the other employees that we dealt with. Ended up purchasing a used Murano, pleasant experience wrapping up all of the paperwork with Lindsay, who was very bright and articulate. Would highly recommend Coastal simply for the fact that they are honest, low pressure, hard working folk who appear to truly care for their customer's car buying experience, without all of the glitz and bull that most dealerships dish out. My experience in buying a vehicle for my daughter had to of been one of smoothist. I was meet by a salesman named Nate Billings with no pressure. We viewed his inventory of new and used vehicles. He seemed to of been very knowledgeable of all the vehicles. Still undecided I told Nate I needed to think about the investment and needed time. As I left the dealership again no pressure. He gave me his card and told me to call him if I had any questions or wanted to take a test drive with my daughter. I set up another appointment and we had a deal. His manager came over to introduce himself and we came up with a price we both aggreed to. The next day when I came in to pick the car up it was Nate's day off. He came in at the time we agreed to pick it up at. He went thru the entire vehicle with myself and my daughter. I would recomment anyone to buy a vehicle at Coastal Nissan and ask for Nate Billings.

However, from the first email to the test drive, My experience at Coastal Nissan has been over the top friendly and hassel-free. From the moment I walked into the dealership I was greated by Tommy Di Pesa and when I explained who I was dealing with he told me that pearson was gone for the night, but that he would be more than happy to show me the car and answer any questions I might have. Two hours later, I was walking out having leased a 2010 Altima 2.5S. Glenn is fantastic. He is not pushy at all, and seems like an all-around nice guy. I felt very comfortable with him as my salesman because he was accommodating, fair, and listened to what we were saying. He is also easy to talk to and seems to want to make the customer happy with their sale when they leave the dealership. The only thing that held me back from rating this dealership a perfect "10" were that we waited a long time when discussing prices with the manager. I'm sure this is standard, but the process took about 4 hours even though we were clear from the beginning how much we were willing to pay.

This is my second new vehicle purchase at Coastal Nissan - first for an Altima in 2006, and this past Saturday the 2010 Cube. A car purchase is extremely major and out of principle I want to buy from a dealer who I feel really works to earn my business and not just "gives me a great deal", because we know in fact that you'll end up paying nearly the same anywhere. This is why I ultimately chose Coastal Nissan twice. From start to finish, from initial lead to writing the check for the car - these guys are FIRST RATE. They pursued me for the sale in a way that made me feel that they sincerely wanted my business and never used any strong arm sales tactics. The unique thing that impressed me was various sales managers called me at different times - each sincere and professional. They never said "as you can see we're the best" - the approach was "we know there's a lot of competition in the market right now and we really want your business. Let us know what we can do." In person at the dealership, Eben was directed to show me the car, go with me for the test drive, etc. He was very professional - didn't overdo the nicey-nice, not patronizing, etc - very likeable in all ways, but still firm and doing his job to accomplish the sale. Lyndsay in the finance office was really personable and again did her job without being pushy. If I said I didn't want an additional option - no argument, on to the next item. I realize dealers count on these extras to make at least a decent profit on a sale. I was surprised at how small the mark-up % was for the dealers and I verified this from objective websites. We're all in this economy together too - I want to know they're making a fair profit, as odd as that may sound. Clearly this is a well managed dealership and after having dealt with many Boston area dealers I can say without question Coastal is the best of the best. Don't even consider any other Nissan dealer no matter what they promise you - just go straight to Coastal. I'll never by another Nissan anywhere else in New England!

Overall, my experience has been very good. I made my initial contact through the Internet and Jeff Johnson, who introduced me to Joe Monk when I made my first visit. I found Coastal Nissan to be fair and competitive, but I was really buying a dealership, not a car because I figured I could get a reasonable price at any Nissan outlet. I will say that the Dealer Rater site is taken seriously by Coastal and that is a good thing for auto consumers. But, this also tells me that Coastal cares very much about its image and performance and that translates to great service and a feeling that every customer is important to them... and that sums up my experience so far with Coastal Nissan.Some of the things that impressed me about Coastal Nissan are:Showroom. The showroom was well organized and clean. It had been raining about 3 days straight when I first visited but everything was clean and shiny.Service and waiting area. The waiting area is clean. comfortable and well lit. They offer free wireless so customers can work or be on the web while they wait. But, the most impressive part of the waiting area is the showroom window into the service area so you can see what's going on. It's a well organized an clean working space. very impressive. The bonus for me is that they also offer some service at their site on 3A in Cohasset. Bottom line: I give this dealer an excellent rating and look forward to a long relationship with Coastal Nissan.

My first surprise was when I clicked on a link for what I thought was another Nissan Dealer, the home page for Coastal Nissan appeared on my screen. This turned out to be "karma" as described by my wife, because I know that my experienced far exceeded anything that I would have had at the other dealer.I have bought many cars, including 5 Nissans, 2 of which were Maxima's. This dealership,a first for me, was by far the best one yet. The Sales Assistant, Ben Webber was the most knowledgable auto salesperson I have ever dealt with. Being a bit of a "car buff" with a technical background, I can tell you that Ben, unlike most automobile sales persons, knows his cars and his customers. From insisting on a test drive, to explaining the cars many features and even helping me with a Sirius/XM radio problem, Ben was right there with accurate information and a helpful, pleasant style. When it came time for to discuss pricing, there was no pressure, no "closer" in your face, just a fair price for an outstanding car. Could I have saved a few dollars at another dealer? Maybe, maybe not, but I would never trade a small saving for the hassle and the discomfort of a large volume dealer. As a matter of fact, Coastal's price was exactly my "target" price.I also have to mention that Mike Shea, the Sales Manager was equally low-key, competent and helpful. He saw his role as being there to answer any additional questions and to insure that you were getting exactly the car you wanted and would fit your needs. Bottom line? I am waiting for the re-styled 2011 Pathfinder to be available and if it is a possibility for me, I will heading back to Coastal Nissan to check-it-out. I hope that both of these people will still be there for me.

I had a very good shopping experience with Coastal Nissan. My sales rep was Tom Dipesa who was great to work with.At first I was interested in leasing a new vehiclye and Tom discussed all available options with me (this was very helpful since I had no experience with leasing.) During the test drives, he was able to explain the features of the car in detail using basic terminology. There was no pressure from him to lease or purchase a car on that first day which was refreshing. Many of the other dealers that I went to were very pushy and ended up wasting too much of my time during that initial visit.Once I decided to purchase the vehicle, Tom handled all of the paperwork and instructed me on what I needed to do in order to have the keys in my hand within 2 business days.Although my interaction with Sean Callas was limited, he was also helpful in making my final decision easier. We have a mutual friend, and I felt comfortable knowing that he would not try to mislead me in any way. The experience that my parents and I had at Coastal Nissan on 01/27/10 was very pleasant. We reside in Dartmouth, Ma and decided to go to Coastal due to a response that we received from Jeff Johnson regarding an email that I sent to him. He scheduled a test drive appointment for 01/27/10 at 11:30 am. Coastal was the only Nissan dealership that responded to my email. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the staff. We were introduced to Ihsane Areski and started working with him from the get go. He was extremely professional, non-pushy and personable. My parents and I were very reluctant at first to deal with a car salesman, however Ihsane made it very pleasurable. We purchased the car after 2 hours of working the numbers down to where we were comfortable and Ihsane was very helpful and sincere. I had been in the market for a pre-owned Murano for a few months and had been on every local website checking their inventories on a weekly basis. Over this time it became obvious that the quality of used cars was not the same at every dealer; Coastal Nissan's cars appeared to be cleaner, more complete, and had overall better mileage. When it came time for me to go to the dealer to purchase, I filled out the online appointment setter for a test drive and was contacted within a short period of time by the internet contact person who then put me in contact with a salesperson. Upon arrival however, the saleperson I was given was not available so I was directed to Nate Billings. He was great in that one of my requests from the internet was to not be given to a salesperson who was going to "sell" me the car; I already did all the research and knew it was what I wanted. Nate was very patient, friendly, and respectful throughout the process and was helpful in identifying which Murano was a fit for me.I love my Murano and am so happy to have met such pleasant people at Coastal Nissan. Prior to visiting Coastal Nissan I had been to a number of dealerships and had test driven a variety of types of vehicles. I wasn't sure what type of car I wanted and if I wanted to buy or lease. I was a bit frustrated with the process because at the other dealerships I felt pressured and uninformed. The salespeople seemed only interested in making a deal. When I entered Coastal, I met Nate Billings. He listened to me as I discussed what vehicles I had been looking at and what I was looking for in a car. He suggested a car and I decided to test drive it. There wasn't one available on the lot so Nate made arrangements to have one there the next day.I test drove it and knew it was what I was looking for. Nate took a lot of time with me answering my questions regarding lease vs. buy - and I made a decision.The exact car I wanted wasn't available so Nate made arrangements to search inventories until they found what I wanted and had it delivered to Coastal.The day I picked up my new car, Nate spent a lot of time with me going over the manual and he sat in the car with me going over all the options and locations of the different functions. From the minute we walked in I had a good feeling about this dealership. They provided a nice clean play area for our 2 kids to play (which was a huge plus for us) so we could talk with our salesman Nate. My husband and I were introduced to Ben Webber by Jeff Johnson. Ben was great. A very knowledgeable, easy to work with salesman who was very accomodating as I decided while in the showroom that I really liked the Rogue which I ended up buying from Ben. Definitely ask for Ben. Our experience with Coastal Nissan was excellent. John Gardinier responded to our internet inquiry with a phone call. He had the car we were interested in, an Altima coupe, at the dealership, ready for us to test drive on the morning of our appointment. He was patient and pleasant and willingly worked at making the price affordable for us. We really liked the fact that no one was pushy. Lindsay in the office was friendly and super effcient. We picked the car up the next day and have loved driving it. We definitely had a positive experience with Coastal Nissan.

I was looking for a second car to drive to work. I drive 100 miles a day. I founda 2006 Honda Accord v6 coupe at Coastal Auto Center in Cohasset which is also Coastal Nissan. I met John Gardinier and he gave me the keys to take it for a ride. He made sure there was enough gas in the car and said take your time. After the test drive I was going to another dealership to check out an 07 coupe and he called me to see if I went there yet. I gave him a price that would have kept me from going there and the dealership accepted my price. I have never had such a smooth buying experience and I buy new cars every 2 years. I highly recommend this dealership for a no-hassle buyingexperience. If you go there, ask for John Gardinier. He's a good man. I have walked out of many dealerships frustrated with their approach, but Coastal Nissan wasn't one of them.

John Gardinier was very helpful with the purchasing of our New 2010 nissan rogue. He was very patient yet gave us all his time for any questions we had. John drove us to another dealership to get the right color rogue. He was not pushy and said right from the start he did not want to waste our time if they did not have exactly what we wanted for the price we wanted. 5 Stars for John Gardinier.Jeff Johnson (Internet Team Leader) - He is the reason we found out about Coastal Nissan. The service that we received at Coastal Nissan was professional to utmost degree. We were treated with complete respect. Ihsane Areski, my salesman, was very knowledgeable, friendly and fair when it came to learning about the Murano and agreeing on a deal. There was no haggling or high pressure sales.The business manager, Sean Callis, was just as knowledgeable and willing to help. He went way above the call of duty to work on getting my lease secured. (We had a problem with the bank and he worked diligently to get the lease to a fair agreement between myself and Nissan)I was most impressed with the customer service. Both Ihsane and Sean really listened to want I wanted and did their best to provide me with what I needed to be able to drive my new Murano. I looked at many dealerships and they were far superior!THANK YOU!

After searching for months online for an SUV, I found the vehicle I was looking for on Coastal Nissans website. When I arrived to their show room, I was paired up with Tom Di Pesa, but was soon passed off to John Gardinier as my sales person. John showed us the car we wanted, and also took the time to answer any and all questions we had pertaining to the vehicle. He made sure to cover all aspects and functions of the vehicle, which gave us a great sense of confidence in our purchase. After price negotiations, John stayed until all final papers were signed, even thought it was well past the closing time of the store. He has also made multiple follow up calls to see how we were liking the vehicle, and to make sure it was running as it should. I did not give Coastal Nissan a perfect ratting b/c I had to return my SUV the day after purchase due to a faulty alarm installed, but within two days of my purchase date, I had the truck back and it was working as it should.John was a pleasure to work with, and I would without a doubt, do business with him again. Thank you!

this was the best experience i have ever had when buying a new car. Nate was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional thru the whole experience. Being a women buying a car can not always be a pleasant experience since a lot of car salesmen can be patronizing to a women buying, this was not my experience with Nate. Service was exceptional - I was looking for a specific Frontier ('09 Pro 4x with the works) and they came through for me - with the best price (I compared local and non-local competition). But it was really the staff that came through - whether it be Nate in sales or the finance department - they accommodated my schedule, were extremely helpful and easy to trust. And that is the key in the auto business - trust. This is the second vehicle I've bought from Coastal. And to me, its not a Nissan unless its from Coastal!

Tommy was my salesperson and he was excellent - very attentive and available and very nice to work with. Lyndsay was also very nice to work with. I rated customer service and overall experience as good instead of excellent because we spent a lot of time waiting. We waited a significant amount of time while our trades were being inspected before we could start talking numbers on our purchase. Then when I came back to pick up the car and go through paperwork and financing, I waited quite a while again before meeting with Lyndsay. This was all out of my salesperson's control. I think everyone was working hard and quite busy, but from a customer perspective, less waiting would be preferable. Again my face to face experience was excellent.

The experience was exceptional as they serviced my new used car. They were taking care of a couple problems with the used car I purchased. They cut no corners. They replaced everything needed when they could have attempted to do a quick fix instead. I was very happy with how I was treated and the entire experience. They provided a loaner while mine was being repaired. This was very valuable to me since I had just started a new job, I could not stay home and I drove to Burlington. I had been to another dealer looking for a car and the service and attention in sales and then service at Coastal Nissan were far superior to anything I experienced at the other dealer. The other dealer told me they couldn't find what I wanted and that I didn't really fit the profile, like that should make me change my mind and go for what they had, not what I wanted. As a middle aged woman, I found that a disconcerting statement and felt they didn't value my opinion or business as a woman by herself.

I saw a used '08 Nissan Frontier extended Cab online and liked it but when I got to Coastal it didn't feel my needs but while I was at Coastal I noticed a 2009 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab and realized that was the perfect truck for my family's needs. So, I asked Ben to take it for a test ride and it drove beautifully. The truck had every option I requested. So we sat down and negitiated a price and we came to agreement on a in a matter of minutes. There were no tricks or haggling by the dealer. They knew I Was a straight shooter and I knew what I wanted to pay and that is what I received. I would definitely recommend Coastal Nissan and definitely ask for Ben Webber. he was very friendly, knowable and wasn't a typical car salesman creep. He wanted to sell me a truck that I wanted and didn't force me into buying something I didn't want or need.

My wife and I bought a new Nissan Quest van at Coastal Nissan and we couldn't be more impressed with the service. The dealer was recommended to us by a close friend who got a GREAT deal and had a hassle free purchase. I've purchased new cars before from various dealers around the south shore and the deals almost always became frustrating for one reason or another. Not at Coastal Nissan! We were immediately helped by a very good salesman, Nate Billings. We were out test driving our new car in a matter of minutes after having a brief interview with Nate to determine our needs. Nate was very good throughout the process with communications and most importantly,he let us choose the 'pace' of the deal. He was not insistent on selling the car immediately or pushing the deal on us.Closing of the deal couldn't have been easier either. It was smooth and pain free! All in all, I will be going back to Coastal to buy a new Maxima in the very near future. No other dealers will be getting my new car business or my service business!

This place is the ideal example of a fantastic car dealership. My recent purchase of the 09 Maxima was a perfect experience. I purchased my 03 Maxima from them way back when they were tiny, and they grew into a large and beautiful new building in Hingham over the years. They jump to attention when taking care of you, their service department is ultra professional, and Mike the sales manager does whatever it takes to make it happen. I looked hard and couldn't find anything wrong with them. With the 09 Maxima purchase, I put them through a lot of crap changing the deal 3 times (!!!) with messed up trade-in arrangements and such... they did everything they could to accommodate my convoluted mess and they remained very positive (I would have wrung my neck by then) and I drove out of the lot with the best deal on the best Max on the lot within a day of finalizing the financing - awesome car! Nate was a very nice, low-key and non-pressuring sales guy and connected with me personally very quickly. Shawn in finance flew through the pile of paper and clearly went over all my options and nailed everything down solid. Overall I can't say enough about this dealership, how it is run, and how clean it is both on the outside cosmetically and on the inside operationally. Great job guys!!!

I "cold called" Coastal after having the worst experience ever with one of their competitors a bit north of Coastal. I spoke with Sean on the phone. He was great. I set up a time to come in and met with Jeff Morse (Sean told me he was not a salesman...apparently he's the "closer"). Jeff was great. I knew which car I wanted so it made everyone's life easier. The best thing about Jeff and Coastal is their relaxed atmosphere...no guys in "very cheap suits." They talked to me like I was a valued potential customer, not a "dumb broad" (as I was treated at that other place...which I also reviewed)! They put a good deal together for me and I was out of there FAST! They did not waste my time. Everyone at Coastal has been great. I'm very happy with my 2009 Rogue and Coastal. Highly recommended to all!

My wife and I went to Coastal to test drive a new Nissan Rogue. Nate Billings was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeble about the vehicle-(Note NOT A PUSHY SALESMAN like we met at other dealerships and left). After phone conversations with Nate we returned 2 days later and purchased a new Rogue. Nate had the vehicle prepped and ready to pickup the following day. I was in a rush and had special requirements for delivery of the used car I planned to purchase. Coastal had me out of there with a great deal quickly and efficiently. I purchased a used Nissan Rogue and I'm very happy with the purchase. Connecticut also has special requirements for sales tax & car delivery and Coastal was good enough to accommodate all the complications associated with this. Prior to going there we looked at Lexus, Infiniti, Honda and Toyota so we had been activity looking and had been in several dealerships and dealt w/a number of sales people. From all the sales people we had dealt w/ Mr. Ihsane Areski was the best. His relaxed yet professional demeanor and knowledge of the product was excellent. Every question we had he answered and took pride in what he was doing. Because of Mr. Areski we bought and brought home a new car the same day. During the financing of the vehicle, Ms. McAloon was also very helpful. She explained every aspect of the financing etc. clearly and professionally so nothing was misunderstood which also added to ease of purchase. It should be noted that after the sale, Mr. Areski took the time to set up my wife's Maxima since she has bluetooth, satellite radio and gps which was a nice touch. I would not hesitate to recommend Coastal Nissan and in particular Mr. Areski for any future car sales.

Modern auto dealership, low stress and friendly atmosphere. There were some coordination issues with some aftermarket services, but overall it was a good buying experience. I guess it is a sign of the times, but I was a bit surprised that the car came with only 1/2 tank of gas when I picked it up. Nate was easy to work with and I would recommend him and Coastal Nissan to anyone in the market for a new car.

I was nervous having never bought a car before. Nate made me feel very comfortable and was very down to earth. He didn't pressure me into anything, worked with my price range, and didn't try to upgrade me to something I couldn't afford, like some other dealers I had visited. When I decided to purchase an 09 Nissan Sentra 2.0s, Lindsey and Sean worked with Nissan to get me a good finance rate and make sure I was approved. I've been to a few dealerships in which the sales people just don't understand what you are looking for. When came to Coastal Nissan, I was expecting basically the same situation. Ihsane Areski greeted me, and helped me through the whole process, I found the vehicle I wanted, it was affordable, and I didn't feel any pressure at all -which was a shocker! I went to Coastal Nissan in search of a pre-owned Murano. My salesman, Tommy DiPesa, asked what options I required on the car and price I wanted to pay. Although the dealership had many preowned Muranos to choose from, Tommy identified two that were perfect for our family. We test drove them both a couple of times and bought one of them at the Norwell location. After driving the car for a couple of days, I noticed that the steering wheel shimmied when I was slowing down on the highway. I called Tommy and he instructed me to bring it to the Cohasset center and they were waiting for me. The fixed the problem right away (while I waited about 30 minutes) and were extremely accommodating and friendly. I would recommend Coastal Nissan and my salesman, Tommy DiPesa, to anyone who is looking for a car.

I highly recommend Coastal for anyone searching for a new or used car. My salesman, Tom DiPesa, couldn't have been more attentive. He was very easy to deal with and never put the hard sell on. When it came time to price, we did very little haggling as the number came in very close to where I was thinking and completely blew away the other local Nissan dealer. Another way they set themselves apart was by allowing me to take the car overnight to make sure it fit in my garage and that I liked the ride as I moved from a sedan to an SUV, the Xterra. Pick up was easy, car was ready when they said it would be and even included a new first aid pack which is nothing big but something that I certainly wasn't expecting considering the car was used. All in, Coastal presented an easy, relaxed buying experience and will absolutely head back there for my next vehicle purchase.

I just picked up my second Nissan (a Rogue). I was very pleased with the performance of my first Nissan, an Altima. Any time I needed anything done, I took it to Coastal. Always had great service - car was done when they said it would be. They even gave me a loaner. Sales staff are great, especially Tom. Very patient and knowledgable. He made sure I liked the car and got the one I wanted and needed at a fair price.

Coastal Nissan was actually the third dealership I visited on my quest to purchase a new car. Greg was extremely knowledgeable, treated me with a professional respect and answered all questions that I had about my new Rogue. I left feeling that Greg was more interested with me purchasing the right car, with the best options to suit my life and budget rather than the sale. This was not evident in the other dealerships that I visited. I had without a doubt one of the best experiences buying a new car. Greg sat with me through the entire process and did not leave me hanging. Not only was he friendly and courteous, he was professional. He offered me all kinds of insight and information as to the type of car I was buying and what it came with. The process of buying a car whether it was used or new scared me to no end. I was worried that being a single female in her year 20's that I would be taken advantage of. I had never purchased a car before. I had heard about Coastal from people at work. The experience was actually pleasant. They asked right from the beginning what I was willing to pay a month for a car payment and then only showed me cars in that price range. I found a used Altima that I really liked. Once again they continued to walk me through the loan and registration process. One of the owners even called my house about a week later to make sure that I was happy with my experience. I can not believe what a great dealership this is. It is two guys who started an honest dealership. I send my whole family in and recomend them to anyone wanting a good new or used car. I have dealt with Coastal and Mike Shea on a few occasions. I have purchased 2 cars and most recently leased a new Maxima. In the past, I went to their Cohasset location, but now I go to the new Norwell site which is much more convenient. Mike and the staff were helpful and courteous and got me a great lease rate. I sent this dealership an email and when I went in they would not honor the price they gave me online, and then it just went down hill from there. I've never been in a dealership that used such pressure to try and get you to buy. I ended up buying a Altima at Quirk who is suppose to be the place with the high pressure tactics but it wasn't that bad.They gave me a good deal on the car and I got a remote starter, extended warranty and the 5 year wax simonize? Plus they helped me finance the car for 6 years-I would say Norwell-Coastal Nissan is not a good place to go which is to bad because I live in Scituate and it would be closer to me.
