Appointment made online. I was able to confirm the time and date that I desired. I arrived 15 minutes early and my vehicle was immediately taken for service after I discussed the issues I was having with the air conditioning with service representative Steven Murray. After checking the air conditioning Steven advised that repairs were needed and would cost approximately $852.00. I authorized the repairs and was out the door approximately 90 minutes later. Steven was very knowledgeable and kept me updated on the status of my repairs. I am very happy and satisfied with the service I received.

I worked with two salesman who made the experience great, due to having an unfortunate experience. The only draw back was while making the deal there was another manager working with another customer who wanted the same vehicle. The car I wanted was sold right from underneath me. Apparently the two managers who make the final deals don't share with each other that another customer was there for the same vehicle. That is very bad for customer satisfaction in my opinion. In the end, the manager I was working with was able to find me another vehicle the next day.

I have bought and leased several cars this is my first experience with GMC and it has utterly been the worst experience ever. I was given a dirty new car with no gas, they cut dash and seatbelts when installing leather, the emissions tag was wrong when purchased. Today I had to deal with serve dept. For the first time which was equally as bad. It took 3 hours for a simple oil change and I was second appt. For the day, they were rude did not even bring me my car gave me the keys told me to go find it in the lot. I would never recommend doing business with this dealership it is not worth time, energy, or money.

Went in for a test drive only was not planning to buy that weekend. Anthony still gave it his best to get an idea of what I wanted and in no way ever pressured me to buy. He sat down with me to start in order to figure out my needs for the truck and started me off with a truck that had most of the new features to get me started. He explained all of the features in detail and showed me several different trucks before we went for a test drive. After the test drive I told him which features were a must and he searched for one in the color I wanted and found it at another dealer. I called them a day later to get the truck, after that Anthony and Gus worked with me to try and get my interest rate down since I was a first time car buyer. These guys know their product and believe in it which leads to them bringing a positive environment and truly caring about their customers.

BEWARE !!!! Do NOT take your vehicle to Coggin Collision Center if you expect to have it repaired and returned in a timely manner!!! They had my vehicle for 4 weeks (dropped off 8/16/16) for a 5-6 day repair job!!! On 9/8/16... Day 23 in repair shop, I found out USAA was livid and that they cut off my rental car as of 8/31/16 due to excessive and unexplainable delays in the body shop. So, unless someone makes things right, it looks like I am going to be stuck with a $800+ rental bill that shouldn't cost me anything!!!! The only comment I got from the body shop rep and manager was, well if you have rental coverage, your insurance coverage should just cover it (the extended time the body shop has my car), ie - not the body shop's problem!!! From what I hear, the workmanship is good.... but geeeez, at what cost of time, money, and aggrivation!!! I WILL NOT BE BACK and I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS REPAIR SHOP TO ANYONE I LIKE OR CALL A FRIEND !!!!9/9/16 - another day... Day 24 now. Still no resolution or response/update since yesterday from Collision Center advisor or manager...9/12/16 - Day 27, The standoff continues... Dealership management stands behind their statement that a month is a normal, reasonable amount of time for a $4,000 repair. Hmmmm, but deducting parts costs and doing the math $840 Body labor + $285 paint labor divided by hourly labor rate = about 27 hours of labor time.... 7 days by a reasonable estimate, 14 by a generous one. But apparantly they have the notion that every $1,000 of repairs = 1 week of repair time and as far as they are concerned my USAA insurance is the bad guy because USAA won't just ante up and pay for a rental for however long Coggin wishes to take to repair a car.... no matter that it sat untouched for a good two weeks while they worked on other cars. !?!9/13/16 - Day 28: I get a call that my car is ready. Talked to USAA rep, said she talked with Body shop manager who was rude and belligerent, again offering no explanation for the 2-week delay in repair time other than "they were backed up and very busy". Without a valid reason for delayed repair, USAA denied rental extension. Repair shop manager also refused to cover the uncovered time. Went to pay my deductible by credit card, body shop refused to accept it as payment since I might dispute the charge because of the excess time. Also refused to accept a check... Cash only because "they deserve full payment for the work they did". The result: They would not allow me to pick up my car after all I've been through. I tried to see a dealer manager, but I just got shuffled from one building to another and then was told "he stepped out, but we will have him call you tomorrow..." Wow !!! Customer service is dead in the Coggin Collision Center!!! You are completely at their mercy and they will bully you until you cave and give in.9/14/16 - 9:36am - Phone is still silent, no follow up call or further contact from anyone at Coggin. My car still sits.... excess rental car time still unresolved, You be the judge if this is good business...

They have a new 2016 Terrain on their website for 22,656. It shows it has a 20% off MSRP discount. I chatted with one of their reps Kaille to make sure the vehicle was in stock before I headed to the dealership from Arlington. When I arrived I was told they have no Terrains at that price or anyone by the name of Kaille. I showed them the vehicle on their website on my phone. Tom asked me if I was sure I was on the correct website. After he brought up the vehicle himself on their website. He checked on his computer and it showed In Stock. He said he would go and try to find it. He came back and said he couldn't find it but he could sell me a different Terrain for $25,000. They don't honor the price on their website and I was made to feel as if I made the price up. I was never offered an apology for their website or for being given misinformation about it being in stock or for driving all the way from Arlington. The vehicle is still showing on their website at that price several hours after I left the dealership. I guess they don't plan on correcting it.

My daughter purchase a 2016 Encore in January. She took her vehicle for an oil change this morning and a mechanic told her she needs an alignment. My husband called and s/w this mechanic letting him know he lied and cheated her. Mechanic stated, its protocol, but will give her 15% off her total. Wolly went above and beyond to make our used car purchase perfect for our daughter. He provided excellent service and professionalism throughout the entire process.Kristen goes to college out of town so we were also on a time limit. If he couldnt find it there he would try to get it our go with across town need be to help he told us.As well as our daughter had just gotten in a very bad accident and totaled her Nissan a week before. So everything was still fresh and we were a little stressed. Kristen actually had her heart set on a SUV and not a sedan. After she test drove the Rogue with Wolly she was disappointed as she felt for her it wasn't the right vehicle as she had difficulty seeing out the side windows. As we were getting ready to move on and pursue elsewhere to look at other SUV's Wolly asked us to look at a Buick Verano that just came onto the lot the evening before. He felt it was something to consider after hearing our needs.It was immaculate and had every option you could think of. Miles, price and all were worth looking at. More bang for your buck for sure when compared to others. She test drove it 3 times in the same day. Loved it and he knew our concerns for safety as well as her desires along with our bottom line price. He encouraged her to look and to take her time to feel comfortable about her decision. As she did. At the end of the evening she test drove 5 other vehicles' on her list and still she loved the Verano Wolly showed her. He discussed everything and showed how it all worked on the vehicle before we left to so she could see , ask questions and be educated before she left to look elsewhere. Smart man! No one else did that for us the way he did nor came close. Wolly knew that car inside and out and how all the technology worked. Oh and not to mention he did on every car we inquired about and if he did not he sure found out quickly. Helped us set up her Onstar and XM. He was suppose to leave work at 6 or so and stayed till 9:30 and even got the car detailed for us as the shop was closing that evening even after we offered to bring it back. Great communicator, genuine guy, knows his business and worked well with all co-workers as we observed. My husband is going to be in the market for a truck. We will be going back to see Wolly. The rest of the staff and Gus were great to work with as well. Best experience by far we have ever had purchasing a car. Thanks again Wolly for doing a great job and working with us the way you did!

I wish that I could say that my experience with Coggin was as good as most of the reviews that I have read. BUT I must say that my experience was terrible. My visit started with me showing up in response to an ad on Autotrader. The salesman that met me at the door was told what I was looking for. He told me that that vehicle was not for sale (I could see the truck on the other side of a fence). He asked what my price range was and I told him. He said that he was going to check and see what else they had in my price range. He then says that he had another truck that just came in that was in my price range. He takes me to a truck, lets me test drive it and then we return to the office to have him write up the truck at THREE times the price of the original advertised truck. Can you say "BAIT AND SWITCH"? Seems more than just dishonest, more like illegal.

Came to the dealership seeking a GMC Canyon and came way instead with two vehicles; a Sierra 1500 SLT and a Yukon XL Denali. Worked an expansive and enjoyable deal with Sales Associate Anthony Gioia. Anthony knew exactly what we wanted to purchase after questioning us for a few minutes. The whole time he was jotting down notes. We bought the 1st vehicle he showed us. He was very knowledgeable with every bell and whistle. He had Susan's contacts loaded in the system before we took the test drive, and wouldn't you know her best friend from high school called on the test drive and her picture came up on the screen, a surprise to us both.Anthony is a proud Dad and husband as he shared pictures of his wife and family with us while we were in his office. Mr Anthony Gioia was very informative, bent over backwards to give me a great deal. Both in Sep of 2012 with my first Enclave and now with my 2016 Enclave. I think more so this time not only with the standard sales, but, with above and beyond things that he did not have to do. Mr Gioia helped me set my phone up, and explained all of the electronic devices up that I never would have figured out on my own, even if I had read the book 20 times. He goes out of his way now as he did the first time.Anthony is a super salesman and a great friend who is always there if I have problems.He made my experience with buying a car much more than just buying a car. 8/24/15On August 24th., 2015 I went to Coggin Buick GMC of Orange Park to view a White Crew Cab 2015 Z71. Anthony Ferraro was available to show me the vehicle and answer my questions. After the purchase I met with Mr. David Marzullo who set up my OnStar service and reviewed the features of my vehicle. As I was writing the cash check for the purchase I asked the manager of coggin Buick GMC of Orange Park to throw in a bed liner and I was told NO! I would think that a longstanding company as this would have the experience and intelligence to find a way to say the positive word yes whenever possible to a customer as opposed to the ignorant negative of no! Companys should know the cost of earning a customer and this one act of yes would have given me a positive experience at this dealership along with something positive that I would want to share with my friends and colleagues. Foolish! If only I could turn back time. I should have gotten up and walked out! I called around to purchase an under the rail bed liner and found that they have a value of only $180.00. Such a petty amount and such an ignorant negative petty act by coggin! 8/31/15After I sent the above letter; David Marzullo called and asked me to come in on 9/3/15 at 11:30 for them to take care of detailing the dirty truck they gave me, repairing the gashed bed rail, balancing the rough riding tires and adjusting the out of line driver rear door which may be causing the wind noise. When I arrived I was pleasantly greeted by David. He informed me that he had gone to bat all week for me. What? Why would you need to go to bat with management about things that I should not have to deal with on a brand new vehicle? Why would he need to go to bat with this ignorant negative petty manager over a damaged rail on a brand new vehicle? Why would he need to go to bat with this ignorant negative petty manager over rough ridding unbalanced tires on a brand new vehicle? Why would he need to go to bat with this ignorant negative petty manager over an out of line door and wind noise on a brand new vehicle? Why would he need to go to bat with this ignorant negative petty manager over a them giving me a dirty brand new vehicle? WOW! Management at this place are such xxxxxx that David has to battle them to show a cash buyer some degree of respect and do the right thing? After the letter I sent on 8/24/15; this dealer should have been ready to show me that they were just having a bad day or made a mistake and that they werent ignorant, negative and petty. But that wasnt what I experienced. I left this place with nothing done as they showed me no degree of professionalism or preparedness to address these vehicle issues. I do not trust these people with my vehicle so I guess Im stuck with the damaged, rough, noisy, dirty new vehicle that I should not have purchased from this dealership. I did not find this dealership to be honorable! I did not find this dealership to be trustworthy! I did not find professionalism at this dealership! I did not find this dealership to be open and friendly! I did not find this dealership to be a place open to negotiation! I did not find this dealership to have any concept of the golden rule! I did not find this to be a dealership I would want to do business with! I have been purchasing vehicles for over 40 years and I can purchase any vehicle I want. This ignorant, foolish, petty and negative dealerships action made me regret this purchase and I will not ever buy from them again! Dont be fooled by the positive testimonials on their web site! Some years ago 20 20 did a show about companys who for a fee will post these bs testimonials on a companys site! Try to post your testimonial on coggins site and you too will see there is no way for you or I to post; this shows that these are not true testimonials! If you are foolish enough to buy from here; dont believe anything! Carefully inspect the vehicle before you buy, document everything, take pictures, make them do everything that needs to be done before you buy their trash and get everything in writing!

We drove form Ocala to purchased a Jeep Wrangler and from talking to Wally on the phone he was very informative letting me know that there people were looking at it while we were driving so we didn't waste our time if it did sell. We didn't buy from the local Jeep dealership here because of past experience and the prices are much more. I would travel again and deal with Wally because of his personalty and honesty.

Tony Eidson was my primary contact at the dealership. I was able to negotiate a deal for a used Yukon XL over the phone with Tony without a lot of back and forth. However, it was Tony's service after the sale that warrants the rating. This was a GM Certified vehicle and the day after purchasing the vehicle I noticed a problem with one of the tires. Tony had just called me to check on my experience and I mentioned that there was an issue. I sent him a picture and within a few minutes agreed that Coggin would replace the tire. I was about to leave on a long trip with my family in the Yukon XL so it was important to correct the issue that day. It was late in the day but Tony was able to get the correct tire and arrange for a service technician to stay late to change the tire. Doing so saved my from having to wait a day to set out on my trip. This was service above and beyond my expectations. I would happily buy another vehicle from Tony.

Tony Eidson met us on the side walk and asked what are looking for? We told him we wanted a Suburban. Tony showed us two. The first one had a 5.3 Lt engine. We told him we wanted a bigger engine. Tony showed us the Denali with all the bells & whistle and a 6.2 lt. engine. We took it for a test drive. It rode very smooth and had the power we were looking for. Tony tried to get us to take it home that night, but we told him we had to sleep on it. After we got home Tony called to Thank us for coming in. The next morning after sleeping on it we headed back to Coggin. During the time we were signing papers Tony checked the DVDs and put new batteries in the headphones. I wasn't sure what vehicle I wanted, or what I wanted to pay for a vehicle, when I arrived at the dealership. Tony met me at the door and asked me if I was interested in saving time. I said, absolutely. He asked what I was looking for, needs vs. wants, We then drove two different trucks. Once I realized what I was looking for and what I wanted to spend, I recalled seeing a 2014 Tundra on a different Coggin lot. I told Tony that was the truck that I really wanted, and he made it happen. We drove all the way down to St. Augustine and brought the truck back, taking him away from the dealership and the potential to sell another vehicle. He had it detailed while I finalized the sales contract, and I was out the door. Tony went above and beyond to get me into the truck that I wanted.

However, these guys were great and they went above and beyond to ensure that everything went as smoothly as possible. The sales team went out and took additional pictures, looked at the cars themselves personally and told me their honest opinions of the vehicle and even offered to help purchase items I would need right away. As if they weren't already friendly and courteous enough, they stayed after hours to pick us up from the airport and drive me to the dealership the night I flew in.I dealt with various associates at the dealership and they were all great to work with but if I had to recommend two it would be Walid Baroody and PJ Knipp who help me with the purchase of my vehicle. I could not be happier with the customer service, sales team, and buying process. They made the entire process simple; it was a breeze. Went in to have an Enclave serviced, talked gentleman in the Service department .He called Anthony back to talk with me. I drove away in a new car. Anthony is very thorough and showed me several cars. When I decided, he was very helpful in showing all the features and being sure I was aware of all of them and how to use them.. Had to go back for more help. This is one of the worse places to ever buy a car they RIPPED us off pretty bad by the sales person Ted Carter and Gus the Finance Manager never telling us what they did in our first trade in we were never told We never signed any thing to this that they had Gmc Finance do a reconsideration on our new loan and the car we purchased. We were mislead by Ted Carter, the Buick 2013 encore has a 700 lb weight factor problem and we tested drive a New 2014 Buick Encore And it has the same weight problem,and that one was bottoming out too. and it has so many other problems this dealership does nothing but lie to there customers, buyers please beware, and being a Disable veteran and my wife who had cancer this is what they did to us if you ever have a problem with a car your purchase from Coggin and does not want to do any thing about it or gives you a run around you have that right to report them to BBB Auto Line

The GMC product sold itself, and I believe they know that, therefore, no need to for the salesman to get pushy. We came back the next day to talk more about the vehicle. Wally was not pushy at all, was laid back, but kept things moving. I have bought many vehicles in my life and dealt with many salesmen. I never met one quite like Wally. He is top notch. He was very accommodating with things that we wanted done before, during, and after the sale. I will be buying ALL my vehicles from Wally. Well I've been a victim of the old bait and switch. I took my car to the "Geico Xpress Lane " at Coggin Buick-GMC of Orange Park to have an estimate performed after my accident. I already had a different body shop ready but Geico's adjuster needed to see the car beforehand. Well Coggin gave me the old sales pitch, just leave the car here and we'll have it ready in 6 days, blah blah. This is important because I'm paying for a rental out of pocket. I even have it in writing that it would take 6 days. This was on 12/20. It is now 1/10 and they told me MAYBE it will be ready Monday. I will post the absolute truth on every review website and social media forum I can find.

In Feburary 2013, I purchased a 2008 GMC Acadia, I received great customer service from all people who was invovled in helping me choose the right veh. for my needs. However, I made the biggest mistake of my life to allowed Luis Nieves, and Will Terradas to pressured me into buying a 2010 Honda Accord for my daughter, which I knew I would not be able to afford. I can not put blame on those men, but I wish I hadn't brought that vehicle, because I ended up returning it in as an involuntary reppossession, which destroyed my credit report "oh well, shame on me". The reason i have given the rating of 5, because when I first met Anthony Gioia, he was pleasant, he listen to me and he did not try to sale me no car. He wanted to get to know who I am and what are my needs. Also, he made me feel welcome and that I was a person instead of just been another customer. Since I couldn't afford the Acadia at that time, he assured me that I will one day be driving the Acadia of my dreams. Anthony, always kept in contact with me to see how I was doing, instead of calling asking when will I be able to purchase the Acadia. No pressure. Thank you Anthony. Well, that dream came true in 2013, as I was entering in the used car department, Anthony saw me and remember my whole name. Now remember, we lost contact for two years and he remember who I am. I was very happy to see him. Now that's great customer service. I would recommend Anthony to all my friends who are searching for a car in the future. My goals is to lower my carpayment to trade for a 2012 GMC Acadia. However while looking around at the used vehicles they had in stock the salesman Anthony and the finance officer Gus advised they could get me in a new 2014 Sierra.I advised we were going to lunch and I advised what I was looking for in a vehicle they found the perfect truck and called me with the info I went back in and test drove the Sierra and we looked at the details and we were happy with all the details of the financing I purchased the 2014 Sierra from Anthony. A lot of half truths....not the whole story. Lots of lies. Said there was no charge for the extended warranty then when you see the final total after all the paper work is done, you see you are charge $4,000 for it. Never told about the charge...only told we are giving you this at no charge. Total lie.Told we have to keep a copy of your driver license in your files for ten years then find out that is not true they can shred it when finished with the DVM paper work that is what the title clerk said. When you catch them in a half truth or lie there answer is we thought you knew.

Very nice experience with this service department again We been having this problem with our Radio some time it would stay off for a day or two and them stay on for a few months so this time it happen we took right into the Service Department so they can see it and fine out what this problem is So as I was pull in Nick the Service writer greet me and ask me how are you doing and he always very friendly so l said nick here this problem that l been telling you about so l went with him to his work area to sign in after that. He said we got some fresh hot coffee and a real nice waiting room to wait in. He said he will get some one on it about 20 mins later his tech brought it in to check it out mean while as lam waiting the Service Manager who l know from our last problem came over also and greeted me too and ask if every thing was ok l explain to him also the problem so he said let me go see what going on with this. So 15 mins later he can back and said they are going to reach GM on this problem they found out it need new software install there was 2 updates one page was 23 pages of up dates the 2nd page was 19 pages. So he said you will have to leave it here he said and we will put you in a loaner car and we make sure that you have gas in loaner car. Them the Service Manager said we will call when we are finish which they did the next day as promise so now been driving our car about 3 days no problems yet so far To make a long story short this is what you call a 5 -star team at this service department and they care about you Thanks for every thing again Jeff Rothman

I really don't understand how you do business. Last Saturday I went into Coggin Buick-GMC of Orange Park and with the help of Wyatt Green purchased a 2007 Pacifica. On Wednesday Morning, after driving 219 miles, there was a very bad shake when you drive at 40MPH-70 MPH and the Check Engine light came on. So I called Wyatt and was told that he was off and to bring the vehicle in, and talk to Dustin. When I got there... I was given ANOTHER VEHICLE and told that they would see what was wrong with my Pacifica. No one called me on Wednesday... and at 430pm on Thursday I called to find out NO ONE KNEW what was going on. Again on Friday I called and Talked to ERIC, who was a MAJOR HELP. Still no one knew what was going on. Today, I took the vehicle that I was given to Orlando for the Arena Bowl. On the way there I was STOPPED due to the Fact that they Vehicle had NO PLATE. After 4 hours and 4 officers later, I was released. I called your dealership to Talk to Wyatt and was told he was out sick and to talk to Darrin. THE RUDEST SOB I ever talked to. Not only did he not care that his staff gave me a vehicle with NO TAG, NOR PAPERWORK, but he told me that if I didn't bring the car BACK NOW, he was calling the police to claiming that I stole the Vehicle. I hope he does, so I CAN SUE you for EVERY CENT you have. As the owner of My9oh4.com and the ENTIRE You're Whatz Happening network, I am starting a campaign to GET DARRIN FIRED. To threaten a customer cause of something his staff did is NUTS. You can't even PROVE I have the vehicle. You didn't make me sign ANYTHING and Can't tell me what kind of car you gave me. I am forwarding this to the BBB and to EVERYONE that will listen. RUDE PEOPLE DO NOT NEED TO SELL CARS. We went to the used car section of Coggin Buick GMC. The salesmen were very friendly. They were insistent that they could get us a vehicle for the payment we could afford. After some negotiating, the deal was done, or so we thought. We signed what we thought was ALL the contractural paperwork binding the agreement. They told us to come back in a few days to pick up our license plates and finish signing a couple of papers because it was very busy at the time and they didn't want us to have to wait. We went back a week later and were then informed that our payment was in fact going to increase by $40 per month because the bank wouldn't honor the original financing. This is a TOTAL SCAM! My husband has a coworker who was a used car salesman and he told us they might try this trick on us. Our original salesman didn't want to or wasn't going to try to help us with this issue. Another salesman talked to us and I asked how the payment could change if we were already approved. His answer: "When we do financing on the weekends, we are dealing with a computer because the banks are closed. So when the banks open on Monday, sometimes they approve the financing and sometimes they change it." Sounds pretty good, huh? Only until you realize thatthey are giving us payment prices on a Saturday, again!!! When did they talk to someone at a bank on a Saturday??????? It's all a viscious circle that will never end!!! LIES!!!!!!! ALL LIES!!!!!!!! Needless to say, we gave the car back to them.YOU CANNOT TRUST THE SALESMEN AT COGGIN BUICK GMC!!!!! They have their speeches all rehearsed and boy they are great actors!!! They might even be awarded an "Oscar" for their performances!!! Quite frankly, I don't know how any one of the salesmen can pillow their heads at night KNOWING they are deceitful liars at their jobs every day!!!!!

I did a lot of research on the Mazda CX5, Chevy Equinox,Ford Escape, Hyundi Tuscon, Honda CRV,Misubishi Oulander, and the GMC Terrain, My 23 year old son and I test drove them all. Of all the vehicles we found the GMC Terrain to have he most interior room, the best afforadable technology and convenience packages. P.J. greeted my wife and me in a friendly, but not overbearing manner. We went to Coggin Buick GMC for a test drive of an Enclave, and the car convinced us that this was what we wanted. P.J. was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and its features and options. He took his time explaining and demonstrating them to us. We had done our research about vehicle cost and trade-in values, and after explaining that we weren't interested in haggling, we all arrived at a fair price relatively quickly. We were provided with a loaner Enclave until ours was fully prepared; that gave us the opportunity for more first hand familiarization. We were kept informed daily about the status of our delivery (Saturday until Wednesday), and the Enclave was in first-class condition when we picked it up. P.J. also made it a point to introduce us to the Service Department personnel (who were just as friendly and helpful) and to follow up with a phone call one day later. We couldn't have asked for better treatment.

Very nice experience to share with every one We purchase a New Buick 2012 Verano at Coggin buick on Blanding that we really love when we got it we had a few problems with it and the old Service Manager at Coggin seem to never get the things taken care of. Until Monday 20 2013 we came in with one of the same problems which needed to be address. So I came in and I meet for the first time the New Service Manager who is Tim LaRoche and he really knew what he is doing He did not make us wait that long at all I exlpain to Tim our problems he got his tech who was Justin Powell who got it in and found out what the problems was and adddress it to me and his Service Manager Tim so the service manager Said he will take care of it and you should not have any of these problems any more so between Tim and Justin his tech we finally got our car fix and now we can injoy it thanks you Tim Laroche and his tech Justin Powell this is what a team is all about fully taking care of there customers Thank You Jeff Rothman

I will never in my life again shop at Coggin GMC in Orange Park. They sold us an overpriced truck that after 4 months of owning it, and we took it to the service department 4 times, THE ENGINE BLEW UP. The engine blew up 4 hours after we picked it up for the 4th time and the service manager assured everything is fixed, and 'He drove it!' Why? Well we are still trying to figure that out. After 11 days they called to tell us they still had not even taken a look at our truck! So my husband and I had to both take off work to go down there and get some answers. We spoke to Mr. Watkins and he assured us we are going to leave happy, maybe not that day, but he would make sure we are satisfied. Needless to say we wanted to trade the truck in, because they have torn every part out of that 2007 Chevy Avalanche and it will never be the same. Here is the fun part!!!! The $31,000 truck we bought 4 months earlier, the truck we took into the service department 4 times and each time the service manager told us everything is fixed and 'he drove it', the trade in value is at $20,000!!!! We just pissed away $11,000!!! Tell me how we are going to leave satisfied Mr. Wayne Watkins!! Now it has been 23 days and a service member calls to confirm that the engine did blow up and they ordered another one. Well gee thanks, don't rush! We are on your clock Coggin GMC! So here we are today, day 25 of xxxx dealing with this place. The sales manager basically tells us we have to find a truck worth $20,000 because that's what our loan is for.(I guess that Diesel Ford F150, that has already sold by the way, was out gift to you!) I received a courtesy call from someone at Coggin GMC asking how my visit was and lets just say my phone died, I was on there for so long explaining how we are being treated like peasants while you to make MORE money off of us. Needless to say, no one called me back. My husband is on his way down to the dealership right now to get some answers because after Mr. Wayne Watkins gave us his cell phone number, he does not seem to be answering his phone. He did get a hold of the 'Sales Manager', but after a heated argument(you would be mad if you just pissed away $11,000)he told him today 'We are really sick of..........' and then he stopped himself. Sick of what? Sick of us? Sick of our inconvenience to YOU???? So this is my first warning to you. From here I am going to write up a detailed list of every single day that I was inconvenienced by your company, and send it to every chain of command from the bottom all the way to the Luther Coggin, along with the Better Business Bureau. I'm also going to paste this 'review' on your Facebook wall and share it with my 725 friends so they know never to buy a car from your dealership because I have a feeling this 'review' will not end up on your website.

I purchased a used F-250 powerstroke diesel. I asked if I could purchase a warranty but was told that, because of the mileage, none were available and the vehicle came "AS IS". As a result, Coggin GMC required me to sign a disclaimer acknowledging the "AS IS" status of the vehicle. I should have known at that point there was something not quite right. However, I was assured by multiple staff members that, the vehicle passed their safety inspection. So after driving it for about 2 weeks, my wife couldn't stand the smell of diesel fuel any longer and asked me take it to a mechanic. Now, $3000 in repairs later, I'm told by Darrin, the general manager of the dealership, that their "safety" inspection is and I quote, "Does it start? Does it stop? Does it steer?" Honesty is a rare find these days but, the GM is telling the truth here. If Coggin GMC would have simply put the truck on a lift they would have seen the many issues my mechanic found including the massive fuel leak. I am sure Coggin GMC of Orange Park would not knowingly sell a vehicle in this condition. But then again, the GM said he is not going to do anything to help me. So, buyer beware! I am leaving this review to inform a future consumer of the Coggin GMC "safety inspection" and the hazards of accepting an "AS IS" vehicle.

My fiancee Bob and I went to Coggin to sell his tricked-out 2008 Silverado, while he was dealing I was sightseeing, you know, along for the ride type thing. I checked out the displays of the Denali and Terrain, noting the exterior and interior colors I liked best. Then Anthony Gioia saw me looking at the Denali in the showroom. He introduced himself and then started answering my questions and showing me around the SUV. A little above my budget, he asked if I wanted to see the new 2013 Terrain SLT, one step down from the Denali. I said "sure, why not". Anthony showed me a beautiful carbon black metallic SLT2 w/titanium interior, fully loaded. He showed me all the features and how everything worked. (I was openly impressed.) Anthony asked if I was interested in taking it for a test drive. Bob and I agreed, (boy, what a dream to drive and quite too). He asked if I was interested checking out the numbers. I said "sure, why not" (not intending to buy, but was curious). He immediately started working on the numbers. After a little negotiating, Bob and I realized the Terrain was well within my budget. So, I decided to buy, "why not", it was a great buy! Anthony was so polite and accommodating, a true professional in every way. He never once pushed or pressured me, answered all our questions and made buying a car a real pleasure for a change. Thanks Anthony and Coggin, we love our new Terrain! Great salesmanship and I wasn't even looking!

We gave Ted a Great Rating that was a Big mistake but them fineing out down the road after the sale one if you got a problems Ted will never call you back they got the worse service deptment there is and them you got Nick as the service writer who does not call you back also this is funny when you got bunper to bumper warranty and you got the same problem they do not want to take care of it so you got to go to another dealership to get the probem fix to make a long story short we will never buy from coggin again and the only one who knows there job is there finance manger 5 stars for him l think they can all learn some thing from hime its never to late

I origionally spoke with Sharon, she was so pleasant on the phone. I thoght I would have gotten to meet her but she was busy. She had David (DC)to work with me. I told him what I could afford to pay and he showed me the SUVs that fit that price range. I chose the best one for me and took it on a sort drive and loved it. I went back we went over figures with Kyle and after we worked together to get me the price range I wanted plus I wanted black interior and I like silver/grey exterior. Got them both. The seats are a perfect fit for my back condition. Also I felt great doing business and I didn't have to have my husband with me to have an Awesome Buying Experience. Anthony has a great personality he took the time to describe what we were looking at an inquired to what we were looking for. He allowed us to talk to him as people not just a sale. When the details of what we wanted were known he took the time ( even though it was late) to show us what he had, something we missed while we looked on our own. Anthony Gioia is great! He listened to our needs and only showed us vehicles that fit our criteria. He was knowledgeable about all of the vehicles he showed us and honest. Yes, I said honest. It was very refreshing. When it came time to purchase he showed us the options and worked to get us the payments that fit our budget. It was a totally different experience and atmosphere. Was not familiar with GMC/Buick product, I have owned Nissan/Subaru brand. DC did a great job of showing me both lines of vehicles and letting me test drive them. Really fell in love with the look and feel of the Terrain (all sorts of room and drives as smooth as a luxury car). Donnie and DC helped walk me through picking what items I wanted, and located one for me. It came in the next day and I went in to do paperwork & pick it up. DC and Donnie had my paperwork ready to go (no long wait), and DC gave me a tour of the dealership and service (even introducing me to service personnel), he then came out to my Terrain with me and programmed my stations, set up On Star, and paired the Bluetooth for me. He walked through all the gadgets my Terrain came with, ensuring I knew how to use them before I drove off. I have had my Terrain two weeks now, in that time DC has called to see if I have any new questions, and I was pleasantly surprised with a box of cookies delivered to my door saying "Thank you for doing business with us and welcome to the family". Can't say enough good about the team at this dealership and the great service I received. I live at the beach and had visited another GMC dealer (closer to me) and was left on the lot and not greeted at all (therefore took my business & questions to Coggin GMC). I love my Terrain and am so happy I took the time to look at GMC and visit this dealership.

First, I must give kudos to Ms. Sharon Ellis. She responded to my Internet request so fast and with detailed choices of cars. She is a top professional. Mr. James Johnson is very professional also. He explained everything and emailed us immediately after the purchase to thank us. The car we selected is a 2012 LaCrosse with 8,000 miles that had a few minor scratches on the trunk. He had this resolved in minutes even before we agreed to purchase the car. He assisted in setting up the phone, OnStar, satellite,and pointed out all the bells and whistles of the "Touring Group." We are satisfied with the price and trade in agreements. We had a Buick about 20 years ago and I had forgotten how terrific the ride is. We love this car. It's such a quite ride and looks sharp. I would definitly recommend this dealership for your next new car purchase. The dealership is very clean and everyone treated me very well. I purchased my new 2012 Verano. Anthony Gioia showed me how to use everything on the car and even took the time to pair my phone up to the car. He took the time to set up everyting on the car exactly the way I wanted it. After I had the car for a week I went back to ask him a question, because I then wanted to change a few setting and he spend another hour working with me going through all the setting on the car and rechanged it all around to the way I decided I wanted then. He was very knowledgeble and showed me things I didn't even know the car had (how you could use the voice command to control the stereo). This person should be removed from your dealership if the dealership plan on stayin in busines very long. Mr. Donny is a very rude and unkind person to the customers. He uses statements like, I do not care what you say or what someone at this dealership told you. He is also heard to say that he does not care what the customers say because he does not need their business any way. Mr. Donny Brown has been seen arguing and shouting at customers. Mr. Donny would use phases like your crazy, and you are a lier, are you calling me a lier, while arguing with customers. Mr. Donny Brown has been seen by the wife and I arguing and shouting loudly, talking down to the customers at the front lobby desk of the dealership. Mr. Donny Brown told my wife and I that if we did not like what the dealership was doing during sale or what he was telling us to go talk to our lawyer because we were wrong and that he did not care because he said that he was right doing what he is doing and saying what he was saying to us. While Mr. Donny Brown was arguing with the wife and I over prices and deal that was madeby Mr. Darren on buying a used vehicle from this Coggin dealership Mr. Donny stated that if we did not want the deal we made on the vehicle that he would back it out and reverse the deal and give us back our trade vehicle. The wife and I then agreed to reversing the deal and take our trade back and call the deal a wash. Mr. Donny Brown then left the office saying I am not talking to you any more I am going to go and reverse the deal. Moment later Mr. Donny Brown returned to the office saying that this is the deal he was not going to reverse the deal because it would cost him over $2,000.00 for the paper work. He stated that the deal was made with Mr. Darren of the used car department and that he would not change the deal Mr. Donny said that we would have to talk with Darren Pearson because he could not over ride Mr.Darren work.THIS IS BY FAR THE WORSE EXPEARANCE THE WIFE AND I HAVE EVER HAD AT AN AUTO DEALERSHIPTHE SALE PERSONS ARE VERY DECEIVING UNTRUTHFUL TO CUSTOMER!!!

I was in a situation with a truck that I purchased for an ex fiance and he was late a lot on payments so I had to repo it from him and trade it to get rid of everything to do with my past..... I felt I was given the "run around" and everything took twice as long because they were not organized.From the moment I emailed Coggin Buick and was connected with Wally Baroody, the experience was hassle-free. He was professional, efficient and treated not only myself and my husband, but our twins with respect and kindness. We ended up purchasing a Honda Odyssey and the overall experience was completely different, in a good way, from what I expected. Anthony was very interested in what extras we would like on a vehicle. Was not really looking to buy at this time. But made an effort to show us something we might be interested in and went out of his way to please us. Showed all the perks and very informative. Courteous and attentive. Had to leave and Harold took over and worked with us. We were not ready to buy, but they went out of their way to find a plan that would make it available for us to purchase. After buying the car, Anthony had returned. Harold made sure the car was cleaned and ready to go home and Anthony went out of his way to show us all the features and how to use them. Our overall experience with Mr. Tad Frederick was excellent. We got to the dealership one hour before close and were pretty sure that the used car we wanted to look at was out of our price range; however, we wanted to see the car and take if for a test drive just to see if it was something we would like. I did have the numbers I could afford just in case we could make a deal, but I had every intention of walking if the numbers were too high. To make things more interesting, we had my 6 month old son with us so at any moment he could end the visit for us, though he is normally well behaved when we venture out. When we got to the dealership, Tad greeted us and knowing we only had an hour, I got right down to business, pointing out the car we wanted to see. Tad went and got the keys along with the keys for another vehicle I mentioned but was on the fence about. We saw the car we wanted to see and the other one. Tad was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cars. He did ask over another salesman to assist, Mr. Anthony Gioia, being that Tad had admittedly not been with the dealership long and was still learning all the finer points of these particular vehicles. The discussion with Tad was very low pressure. It felt like I was over at a neighbors house looking at a car they were thinking about selling. Once it got down to offer time, Tad walked us back into the office, took down some information and then we waited a bit for the back office to run a few numbers for us. While we were waiting, the other salesmen were coming over and playing with our baby son who was having a good time, lucky for us. At this point, I expected to see a number I couldnt afford and was ready to leave for the evening; however, the number Tad presented to me was close enough to my numbers that I couldnt just walk away. We really liked the car we looked at and they offerored a more than fair trade in price for our car. I told Tad I wanted to step outside and talk it over with my wife. He said, Go ahead, Ill be right here, take all the time you need. My wife and I decided that it was still outside what we could currently afford so I went back in to tell Tad. Once I explained the situation Tad and another gentleman named Paul asked what I could afford. I showed them the numbers I had pulled from certain websites and told them that was it. Tad and Paul looked at what I had and said, We can work with this. My wife stepped outside to walk our baby son around the parking lot. He was behaving like an angel which is telling of the environment were dealing in. While they were working up the last numbers, Tab and Paul gave me a bottle of water and even offered to walk my son around so my wife could come in and hear the final numbers. Ultimately, we came to the deal that I had thought was unlikely before we got there. However, I did have to come back the next day to finalize it because it had gotten so late. The next day, everyone that was involved with the deal said hello and then Tad showed me to the finance manager, Gus. Gus had actually worked up a slightly better deal than what I had agreed to the night before, and offerored some warranty options. Because of the type of car I was buying, I decided that I should get a warranty. Even the bargaining for the warranty was low pressure and Gus was able to work out yet another deal I could afford. My wife was going to be the main person driving the car I purchased so I wanted to make sure she had a chance to go over all the bells and whistles with the salesman. Tad told us to stop by any time and he and Anthony would go over everything. About a week later my wife and I called Tad and set up a time to stop by the dealership. During that week we had noticed a noise coming from the steering column. Tad said he would introduce us to the dealership maintenance manager and have him take a look at. When we got there, Tad took us to the maintenance shop and introduced us to Bill who had someone identify the problem and gave us a loaner until they got it fixed. Tad and Bill helped us transfer all the baby stuff from our vehicle to the loaner. I have had a lot of car buying experiences in my life and I would have to say that this was the best personal and professional experience I have ever had buying a car AND ended up getting the deal I walked in the door hoping to get. I would recommend Cogggin Buick GMC of Orange Park to anyone, friend or family, based on experience with Tad and all the other the folks at the dealership backing him up.

Be careful and do your research on this dealership. The Coggin Group has a history of using a deceptive tactic called "spot financing" to sell cars. This is where you agree on a price and financing, sign the contract, and drive the car home. The deception is that bank financing has not been finalized, so you get a call from the dealer a week or so later saying that the financing was not approved by the bank and you need to come back in to renegotiate. This puts you in a precarious situation because you have the new car but now have to agree to a higher interest rate or a larger down payment in order to keep it. The only other option is to return the car and possibly pay for "renting" it which is not a very fun process. We were completely caught off guard by this scheme and it appears that is illegal in most states but is a fairly common practice in Florida unfortunately.

I've owned my car for a little over a year and have had to come in 7 times. Yes...7 times! For 7 different issues! The only people that have been kind and genuine are Bill and Paula, in service. At first(before all the car issues), I sent several of my friends here and they all bought vehicles. Now, I wish I didn't because I have had nothing but issues since! One of my friends who I referred has also had similar issues. I will never go back to this dealership for service even though it's a mile from my home. I will drive out of the way to avoid having to deal with these people!

Normally I do not write reviews, however my experience with Goggin Buick of orange Park was an exceptional experience. The major reason for having such a good experience at this dealership is Harold Dumas. Harold introduced my wife and I to a Buick and invited us on a test drive. Upon completion of this test drive he discussed with us the ride of the Buick. His interest was on whether or not we enjoyed the car and did it meet our expectations. It acutally exceeded our expectations. From that point Harold never pressured us into buying this car his focus was ensuring we were excited about the car. Our confidence in Harold grew more and more as we discussed the type of car we were pursuing. He worked dilegently with us and our budget and never became frustrated with our request. At the end of day we bought the vehicle that we loved. And thinking back we actually did not initially buy or fall in love with the vehicle it was really Harold who we really "bought into" and then the vehicle. He was easy to work with always wanting to know what we wanted in a car always trying to satisfy my wife and I. The first car salesperson that we met who placed emphasis on satisying the customer and their vehicle requirements.

First off let me just say great attitude from the moment I drove up to the moment I drove home with my purchase. This was not my first time at a dealership but it was my BEST one. I scanned the web looking for what i wanted and Coggin Buick had it. I finally got a chance to come in and was greeted with a warm welcome (not that phony smile and stuff) genuine handshake. I spotted the vechicle i was going to leave with if everything worked out.. Rodney listened got the keys got my info that he needed then we drove off the lot. He found a spot for us to swap to let me drive. The vechicle was better then i thought and made an offer. Now the fun begins... I was treated by everybody with respect and friendship. I got the vechicle with what i could afford to put down and they got me an extended warranty and at a great interest rate for a used car. The main reason I had to write in about this deal was no BS straight talk and making me Happy and not playing a numbers game on me like oh no more money down or this or that.. I dropped my Pontiac G5 at the service department with small laundry list of maintenance and minor repair items. Though most of the items were properly diagnosed and addressed that same day, I later found that one item was not properly diagnosed. I submitted comments accordingly through this website as well as through the dealership's contact page. That same day I received a courteous call from the service manager, Kevin Belfry, who asked me to bring the car back so that they could make things right. I brought the car back the next day and they arranged to bring me to work, and even put me in a rental car when the repair could not be completed in one day. My service advisor, Paula Williams (who was very pleasant), routinely called me to keep me apprised of the repair status. As soon as I arrived home after picking up the car, Kevin Belfry called to ensure that I was satisfied. The take away: Everyone can make an occasional error, so what matters most is how things get handled when that error occurs. I am highly impressed with the way this dealership stepped up and made things right for me. They did it right - very refreshing. Way to go Kevin and Paula!

When we walked onto the lot he was asked to assist us since he was the only one without a client at the time. He asked what we were looking for in a car, suv or truck. When we informed him we wanted to look at SUVs he walked us through as far as size and travel needs. After discussing what we wanted he said the GMC Terrain would be probably the right suv for us. He had us set in one and he walked us through everything it would do and explained all the options and how they worked. He thrn suggest we take one for a test drive so we would know that was what we wanted. During the drive he explained again how everything worked and everything the suv was capable of doing. After we returned from the test drive he asked again if we were sure thats what we wanted or did we want to look at any other suvs. We told him that was exactly what we wanted and he then asked if we were ready to buy and we said we were so he asked we knew what color we wanted so he walked us through all the Terrains they had on the lot and said if they didn't have one like we wanted they could get it for us. We found the one we really liked on the lot so he took us iside to meet every body in the showroom. We set down at his desk and he filled out all the paperwork. After completing the paperwork we were introduced to the finance manager who was going to fill out our paperwork. When he took us into the finance office he said he would get our new suv fueled and that we would have to bring it back for us to get it cleaned up which we did the next day. After we completed the paperwork he took us outside to the suv and showed us how everything worked. When we came in the next day to have it detailed he entertained us until the car was ready. He then took us outside and explained everything again in detail so we would know how it worked. He told us should we every have any questions to please come back and he will explain it to us. Every body made sure the car was cleaned up to our expections. It was the faster process we have ever been through when buying a new car. He has since followed up to make sure everything was going good with our new car.

Harold took the time to explain all the functions and features of different models and helped us get into the car that was right for us. He also helped us get a great deal! Harold Dumas took the time to get to know us and make sure we were comfortable. He took us out to the vehicle we were interested in and we test drove it. After we returned he ensured that it was detailed while we worked through all the paperwork. It was one of the few times I felt no pressure to purchase a vehicle nor did I feel hounded by sales people desperate for a sale. As soon as JJ noticed us in the parking lot looking at the pre-owned vehicles, he came right out to help us. No more than 10 minutes into our search, we found the perfect vehicle for my mother, whom was the purchaser. He took us inside, where we were greeted but all the gentlemen at the front desk. He conducted himself in a very professional manner and was able to answer any questions I had about the vehicles we reviewed, especially the one I selected, which made my choice much easier. On August 25, 2010, I purchased the 2010 Buick Lacrosse from Anthony. Negotiations on a final price for the Lacrosse in which I was interested in, took about 2 weeks. My vehicle had been recently totalled. I need to get another vehicle needless to say. I had spoken to Mr. Johnson on the phone on a Saturday and came out to meet him. When I arrived several people greeted me. Mr. Johnson was there as he said he would be. I had told him what I would like my payments to be and how much I wanted the vehicle prior to coming out. We walked the used car lot. That day I did see a couple of vehicles but was not quite ready that day. He was patient, kind, courteous & not pushy. ( I do not like pushy sales people)The following Saturday, I called Mr. Johnson and once again he was there as agreed. I had 3 choices that I was interested in. He helped me make the correct and sound economical decision for what I had expressed to him earlier. There was this one vehicle that I really loved but in reality it would probably been a burden down the road shortly due to the high mileage and parts for the vehicle. I picked one of my choices... I love my vehicle,great on gas,reasonable mileage and a newer model!!!Mr. Johnson sold me my vehicle as if he was buying a vehicle... what would he want in a sales person if he was a customer. Just wanted to say thank you for all your help. My wife loves her enclave, she finally got to drive it on a 3 hour trip and was very impressed by everything. It drives like a dream but it likes to go a little too fast, we will have to be careful not to get any speeding tickets. Our whole family fits with room to spare. We have no complaints about the enclave at all it is a great used vehicle and there we no surprises. I don't think you could have represented it any better in our dealings. Also I talked with American Radio and they are sending us a new nav sd card with the Canadian maps. They were very helpful with any questions I had about the Rosen system which my kids love. They won't quit playing with the touch screen.I have answered a hundred questions about the vehicle and the process of getting it imported. I have told everybody about the excellent service and how easy you and coggins made the process. After going to 5 different dealers in town I finally landed at Coggin of Orange Park. Which is a thirty minute drive from house. We were in the market to scale down from a Tahoe to a smaller SUV. After all the pushy sales people I finally met up with Sharon Ellis, internet sales director. She was wonderful. We test drove a 2008 ford Edge and loved it. After going home with my husband to think it over I called Sharon that morning and said lets go ahead. Sharon had all the paperwork ready and all financing work ready. I came back the next day and was in and out within 20 mins. My husband and I have have purchased many new and used vehicles over the years and this was the best experience I have ever had. On Wednesday I received a phone call from salesman Mike Powell regarding this application and we began the pre-approval process. Over the course of the next 3 days and many calls and emails, all information necessary was provided to Mike Powell so that when my husband and I arrived for our 1:30 appointment on Saturday March 27, 2010 we would have all paperwork in order and be ready to proceed quickly with the purchase/trade-in. I was very clear with Mike Powell how much we wanted to spend, our deposit, our trade-in and what we wanted our monthly payments to be in the range of.On Saturday, my husband Clyde and I drove from JTB to Blanding to complete the purchase of the 2004 Toyota Tacoma Truck. We arrived at the dealership at 1:10. As we were the only two people on the lot, we were not greeted by anyone until 15 minutes later, not even by our salesman Mike but by Sharon the Internet Manager. We were brought in and seated at Mikes desk for a couple of minutes then we were told Mike was not there. We went back outside and waited. After being at the dealership for over 30 minutes, Sharon came back out and asked us to come in and complete some paperwork. Mike Powell, who was now at the dealership and had been for some time, still had not spoken to us, his scheduled appointment and sale. Sharon asked the same questions, Mike and I had gone over for 3 days. Mike Powell had not processed any of our information and we needed to give it all over again. Needless to say we were not happy as we were assured this was completed. Mike Powell wasted 3 days of my time asking me for information he did nothing with. We had to start from scratch and again complete all information with Sharon.Sharon processed our information and was not even in the realm of what Mike and I had discussed several times and even what we told her personally. We explained these dollar amounts would not work for us and proceeded to leave. We were not offered to look at other vehicles, I asked where Mike was to no response, she could not have cared less if we purchased at all. So we left the dealership with no truck and a lot of our time wasted. We have never dealt with ruder people in our life. A car salesman, especially a Toyota, who doesnt even greet or say hello to his customer who has a scheduled appointment with him. It is unheard of. We still have not heard from even as we left in disgust. This is your idea of customer service? We wish we would have looked at your online reviews before even contacting your dealership, as this seems to be typical behavior. We have taken our business elsewhere and after pre-approval Dimitry and Dennis at Coggin Toyota at the Avenues are currently looking for a truck for us. They were very friendly and did not want us to leave because they wanted our trade-in!
